16:38 Doncaster Handicap (Class 5) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Four-time all-weather scorer Churchella confirmed herself on the upgrade with a maiden turf success over C&D last time out but a 6lb rise may leave her vulnerable to ROGUE TORNADO. James Owen has his team in scintillating form right now and there should be more to come from his lightly-raced four-year-old, who has only been raised 3lb for winning on his stable debut at Leicester. Plus Point looks the pick of the remainder.

Having won her first 2 starts in handicaps last season, PLUS POINT wasn't quite in the same form as on her reappearance when fourth at Goodwood on her latest outing, but she is well worth another chance as she drops back down in trip. Churchella has been thriving of late and isn't taken lightly, with Rogue Tornado also in the mix.

James Owen's horses are flying at present and Leicester winner ROGUE TORNADO (nap) can make it 2-2 for his new trainer.

17:08 Doncaster Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Any market move for the Crisfords' expensive Breeze-up purchase Arabian Dusk would have to be considered significant here, but ALONDRA could take some stopping regardless. Not unsupported ahead of her debut over 6f at Newmarket, Charlie Hills' filly was arguably the one to take out of the race having kept on strongly to finish fifth after a trouble-strewn passage. Ripple Effect and Never Forget You are others capable of taking a step forward from their respective debuts.

The Crisfords won this last year with a big-money breeze-up buy and can do so again with ARABIAN DUSK, who fetched 525,000 guineas at the Craven Breeze-Ups in April. Ripple Effect, Alondra and Never Forget You all shaped well first-time up so they head the dangers.

The form choice is RIPPLE EFFECT, while Arabian Dusk is a particularly interesting newcomer.

17:40 Doncaster Stakes (Class 2) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A strong-looking contest in which Socialite and Run Away both have to be considered after making winning starts, particularly the latter who fetched 2,600,000 euros as a yearling. All that said, KING'S GAMBLE may have too much if building on his smart juvenile form which saw him land a Newmarket maiden before finishing third in the Gimcrack at York. A step up to 7f should only improve him and this could be a stepping stone towards going up to the highest level at Royal Ascot, with the son of Kingman boasting an entry in the St James's Palace.

A valuable novice chock-full with potential and it's KING'S GAMBLE who gets the vote to come out on top having produced a couple of highly promising efforts when last seen 9 months ago. Aramram landed a few tidy bets on return at Nottingham 3 weeks ago and he could be the one to give the selection most to do, with Run Away and Socialite both first-time-out winners who are open to improvement, also.

Plenty of nice prospects in this valuable novice but last year's Gimcrack third KING'S GAMBLE still rather stands out.

18:15 Doncaster Handicap (Class 2) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

HIGH ORDER proved too classy for the opposition when getting off the mark at Southwell and the son of Frankel makes plenty of appeal on paper. With further improvement to come and a step up in distance to potentially aid his cause, he can defy an opening mark of 95. Ghostlore got his career up and running with a decisive triumph at Thirsk last time and has to be respected, while East India Dock is another to consider.

HIGH ORDER is a colt firmly on the up, so John & Thady Gosden's charge gets the vote to make a winning start to life in handicaps before potentially heading to Royal Ascot later this month. Wild Waves seemed to relish the increased stamina test when scoring on his handicap bow at Kempton recently, so he's put forward as the main threat granted an even greater test, with East India Dock taken to edge out Ghostlore for third.

There was a lot to like about the way WILD WAVES stretched clear late on at Kempton and he can follow up.

18:50 Doncaster Handicap (Class 3) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Silver Samurai returned from a 117-day break to fill the runner-up spot at Kempton in January and is one to consider off a 1lb higher rating back on turf. However, the vote goes to YORKSHIRE, who forced a dead-heat in this grade at Thirsk a fortnight ago and he is only 2lb higher for that victory. Edward Bethell's yard is in fine form at present and the four-year-old could be the one to beat. Maywake and Kingentleman, who sports a first-time tongue-tie, are just a couple of others to consider.

YORKSHIRE resumed his progress after 7 months off when sharing the spoils at Thirsk a fortnight ago, despite having met trouble in running, and he could still have more to offer this year. He is taken to get the better of Pearle d'Or, who wasn't seen to best effect at Ascot on his latest outing, while Quest For Fun is also one to note.

Judged on his direction of travel for new connections, HECTIC may be the answer. Pearle d'Or is second choice.

19:20 Doncaster Handicap (Class 3) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Mountain Warrior did well to only be denied by just under a length into second at Carlisle last time and, with a clearer passage, he ought to go close. However, he could come out second best to SPOOF, who stayed on well to finish fourth at York last Saturday, faring best of those held up, and the handicapper may have been kind to drop him 2lb for that display. Burning Cash and Jer Batt could also get involved.

SPOOF made more impact than previously this season when fourth at York last week and, with a good-value 7-lb claimer now taking over in the saddle, he earns the vote. This is a competitive sprint handicap however, with Muker, Jer Batt and Mountain Warrior just a trio of interesting rivals.

Carlisle runner-up MOUNTAIN WARRIOR is taken to go one better. Burning Cash is second choice.

19:50 Doncaster Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A very open contest sees plenty of chances in this field, but the slight preference is for TWAYBLADE, who was sent off a very well backed favourite on his latest outing at Brighton and he can bounce back. Chris Dwyer's charge flattered to deceive on that occasion, but a 2lb ease by the handicapper is likely to aid his cause. Emperor Caradoc is feared most after escaping a rise for finishing second over 5f at Ayr last month and this extra yardage should suit, while King Of Tonga heads the remainder.

ALSEEYERTHERE's finishing effort didn't quite match the way she travelled when fifth at Leicester (7f) 3 weeks ago but she's well worth another chance to confirm her mark a workable one returned to sprinting and earns the vote to come out on top. Emperor Caradoc and recent Catterick winner King of Tonga are others fancied to play lead roles.

If the cheekpieces continues to have a positive effect EMPEROR CARADOC might be able to resume winning ways back at 6f.

20:20 Doncaster Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Plenty of in-form rivals line up in this contest, but, after racking up successive seconds of late, DANZART can go one better. Stella Barclay's charge has been raised just 1lb for a three quarters of a length defeat over 6f at Wolverhampton which could prove lenient. Dazy Mazy is likely to enter calculations after just being touched off over 6f at Catterick last time, while A Pint Of Bear should not be discounted following his recent success at Brighton.

A PINT OF BEAR produced his best effort for a while when successful at Brighton last time and, from what remains a workable mark based on old form, he can make a bold bid to score again. Dazy Mazy has shown improved form on her last 2 starts and is feared most, ahead of Danzart.

C&D winner RWENEARLYTHEREDAD has slipped in the weights and he could be ready to capitalise. Danzart is feared most.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
