13:15 Curragh Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Eric Lock should have learned plenty from his debut fourth over 5f at Dundalk last month and the son of Advertise looks sure to improve for this step up in distance. However, the Aidan O'Brien-trained RIGHT AND TRUE could have too much class for these rivals. He ticks plenty of the right boxes on his pedigree and may open his account this afternoon en route to bigger things. Market support for fellow newcomers Elzem and Real Life would also be interesting.

MOUNT PARNASSUS caught the eye on debut over C&D recently, and is open to considerable improvement, so might be worth chancing in a very well-contested maiden. There's several interesting newcomers in opposition, headed by Right And True and Barnavara

Joseph O'Brien may take this with ELZEM,, a brother to Group 1-winning filly Champers Elysees

13:50 Curragh Listed 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A winner on the opening day of the season, ARIZONA BLAZE can maintain his unbeaten record for trainer Adrian Murray. The third horse, Monotone, went on to give that particular form a boost when successful at Cork on his next start. With his ability to handle testing conditions not in question, Murray's colt can make it two wins from two under David Egan. Dundalk maiden winner Morning Vietnam looked a very useful prospect when easily going in at the first time of asking, but the Michael O'Callaghan-trained colt faces an altogether different set of conditions here. Whistlejacket, who showed plenty of early speed on his debut over 6f, should appreciate dropping back a furlong now.

A hot renewal of this listed contest with WHISTLEJACKET taken to emulate his distinguished brother Little Big Bear and make his second outing a winning one having been beaten in the same 6f maiden here on debut. Arizona Blaze and Morning Vietnam made successful starts and seem sure to improve also.

Having impressed when winning here on the opening day of the season, with Monotone in third, ARIZONA BLAZE can win again.

14:25 Curragh Listed 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained SAMUEL COLT should appreciate this easier assignment having run really well when runner-up in a Group 3 at Leopardstown on his reappearance. The form of his two-year-old maiden win at this venue last October has been well advertised subsequently. Bright Stripes finished a long way behind Samuel Colt in that aforementioned Leopardstown race but that was almost certainly not his true running. Andy Oliver's colt had some very smart form in decent company as a juvenile, so is worth another chance to prove himself. Norwalk Havoc needs to improve on what he has done to date but the Jessica Harrington-trained gelding won't be easily passed if getting to the front early on.

Aidan O'Brien took this last year with Paddington en route to Group 1 glory and SAMUEL COLT looks yet another smart prospect for the Ballydoyle handler after his encouraging second in a Leopardstown Group 3 last month. Norwalk Havoc looks a 3-y-o of some potential himself and is the obvious danger.

SAMUEL COLT can go one better than on his seasonal debut when runner-up in a Leopardstown Group 3.

15:00 Curragh Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Madrid Handicap third SLUICE could prove well treated off just a 1lb higher mark. The runner-up in that Naas contest has won subsequently, while the fourth has been placed in both Listed and Group 3 races. Meeting nothing of that calibre here, Joseph O'Brien's filly can give the weight away. Pepper Noir made a pleasing turf debut when fifth against her elders over course and distance last month. The Gavin Cromwell-trained filly should be suited to a race restricted to her own sex and age group. Glimmerglass catches the eye towards the foot of the weights, as the maiden in which the John Feane-trained filly finished seventh here last back-end has been well franked in recent weeks.

MADAME PLAINTIFF ran out a ready winner on her handicap debut at Gowran a fortnight ago and even a 9 lb rise could prove lenient. She can follow up. Sluice and Asian Daze are two of the dangers.

Having run a fine race behind a well-handicapped rival in the Madrid Handicap on return, SLUICE can show the benefit of that.

15:35 Curragh Group 3 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Although she would most likely prefer a sounder surface, JUMBLY shaped well enough when runner-up on soft-heavy ground here on her reappearance to suggest she can go one better now. With the benefit of that run under her belt, the Joseph O'Brien-trained filly should strip fitter, while the ground is probably not going to be as stamina-sapping. The Fozzy Stack-trained You Send Me reverts to what is arguably her optimum distance having raced over both 6f and a mile of late. The four-year-old should have no difficulty coping with ground conditions. As well as Jumbly, trainer Joseph O'Brien looks to have a particularly strong hand with Gregarina and Valpolicella also capable of featuring.

JUMBLY should be sharper with her reappearance in the Gladness behind her and can resume winning ways under Ryan Moore. Her new stablemate Valpolicella, a listed winner in Germany, may give her most to do ahead of the William Haggas-trained Doom and Paddy Twomey's unbeaten filly Vain Gloria.

Ryan Moore takes the ride on JUMBLY who started the season with a pleasing C&D second and can record her first win for Joseph O'Brien

16:10 Curragh Group 2 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Epsom Derby third WHITE BIRCH can continue his revival by adding to his recent C&D win. The John Joseph Murphy-trained colt ran below-par in the Irish Derby last July and again failed to show his true form when beaten in Group 3 class at Leopardstown on his final start. However, there was plenty to like about his winning reappearance at this track last month. Elegant Man is a fascinating contender for Adrian Murray on his first start on turf. The four-year-old put up a hugely impressive weight-carrying performance when winning at Newcastle over Easter but has yet to race on grass. The Joseph O'Brien-trained Maxux looks best of the remainder.

ELEGANT MAN produced a really smart handicap performance to defy top weight in an ultra-competitive affair at Newcastle over Easter and can take the step up to Group level in his stride if proving as effective on turf. Recent Alleged Stakes 1-2 White Birch and Maxux can give Adrian Murray's charge most to do.

MAXUX is 3lb better off with White Birch for a neck defeat in the Alleged Stakes over C&D last time and can exact revenge.

16:45 Curragh Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

C&D winner RACING ROYALTY should have every chance of adding to his win here last October. The Gillian Scott-trained five-year-old travelled well throughout that contest before keeping on strongly once challenged close home. The five-year-old should be all the better for a recent run at Leopardstown where he finished fifth. Secret Magician, who was ahead of Racing Royalty over 6f here last season, has every chance despite being slightly worse off at the revised weights. The Martin Hassett-trained gelding should be approaching peak fitness after two previous starts this term. El Bello, runner-up over this track and trip last month, is another who holds leading claims.

SUPERIOR FORCE has been given a bit of time since his below-par run here in March (found to be coughing post race) and might be worth another chance as his AW efforts prior to that had been promising. El Bello ran a blinder over C&D last month and is second choice ahead of Racing Royalty and the unexposed Come On The Lads.

This looks open but it may be worth taking a chance with C&D winner RACING ROYALTY who should be better for a Leopardstown run.

17:20 Curragh Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

RATHBRANCHCHURCH ran slightly below par at Navan last time but on his previous fifth over this C&D, the Michael Mulvany-trained gelding has every chance. A high draw tends to prove advantageous on the sprint track here, so having bagged the plum rails stall, Wesley Joyce will be confident. Sevensees has to be of serious interest with Ben Coen taking over in the saddle. The Johnny Murtagh-trained four-year-old went close at Navan last month on just his second handicap run and there could be more to come. Universally is another who can get involved, with Colin Keane a notable booking for the grey sprinter.

PINAR DEL RIO was edged out late on here a fortnight ago and is clearly well treated if in the same sort of form. Veteran Downforce and Sevensees are among the dangers.

Navan form points to Loma Larnee and Sevensees but they may not cope with RATHBRANCHURCH, better judged on his seasonal debut

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
