16:50 Cork Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The market should be watched closely, with very little meaningful form to go on. Donnacha O'Brien has won this race for the last two years in a row and saddles interesting debutant SAY YES TO DREAMS. The Siyouni bay is a sister to Louise Procter, who was sent off favourite in the French 1000 Guineas on her most recent start but finished down the field. Wayne Lordan has guided three Aidan O'Brien-trained debutants to victory in the last eight days and the pair are represented by Sweet Chariot. Out of Group 1 winner Clemmie, the Wootton Bassett filly is sure to give a good account of herself. The Paddy Twomey-trained Wild Rover Lady is of definite interest. A 98,000 euro purchase at the Goffs Orby Sale, she is out of a sister to Telescope. Bought for 150,000 euro as a yearling, Amazing Athea is another for the shortlist, along with fellow newcomers Dandy Khan, Mood Altering and Babouche.

This can go to a newcomer and the superbly-bred SWEET CHARIOT can give Aidan O'Brien and Wayne Lordan another first-time-up winner with the pair having had 3 in the last week. Babouche and Wild Rover Lady are a couple of others to consider before betting clues.

Newcomers could dominate here and SWEET CHARIOT, by Wootton Bassett out of Cheveley Park winner Clemmie may prove the pick.

17:25 Cork Maiden 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Eddie Lynam holds a strong hand, saddling both DESERT POWER and Beatrix Power. Marginal preference is for the former with Ben Coen aboard. Out of three-time winner Miss Power, the selection ran a race full of promise on debut at Navan last month, coming home strongly to finish a never-nearer second. Beatrix Power is the highest rated of those with a mark and is a sister to seven-time winner Collective Power (runs in the next). The 80-rated bay was a solid third at the Curragh recently and it'll come as no surprise if she manages to go a few places better now. Placed twice from four starts, Pansy Poe is likely to have plenty of supporters, while others of interest are Zara Ellis and Abiding Star.

Eddie Lynam looks to hold a strong hand here with DESERT POWER and Beatrix Power. The former shaped with plenty of encouragement when runner-up on debut behind one who finished second in much stronger company next time and just about shades the vote. Abiding Star and Pansy Poe are others to consider.

Both Lynam-trained runners can be rated likely maiden winners. The once-raced DESERT POWER may have the measure of Beatrix Power

17:58 Cork Handicap 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SEVENSEES really put his rivals to the sword at Tipperary last month and despite an 11lb rise, he looks capable of following up. The Sea The Moon four-year-old appears to be as his best over the minimum trip and will again be ridden by young apprentice Rory Mulligan who claims a valuable 7lb. Collective Power and Jered Maddox have won 16 races between them and will undoubtedly have their supporters. The former has a course win to his name, while the latter is bidding to complete a hat-trick, with his last two victories coming at Dundalk. David Marnane trains Jered Maddox and is also represented by Alpha Cephei. While a notoriously slow starter, he is tried in a visor for the first time now and it'll be interesting to see how he fares. Curragh maiden winner Ostraka appears the most interesting of the remainder, as she starts off for Danny Murphy.

SEVENSEES was much improved when easily accounting for Sporting Hero at Tipperary 17 days ago and can confirm his superiority over Denis Hogan's charge. The Billy Lee-ridden Collective Power may prove best of the rest.

Better ground should help former British-trained AW winner SPORTING HERO in his bid to reverse Tipperary form with Sevensees

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Held in high regard by her trainer Andy Slattery, dual course winner EASY might be able to take this competitive heat. Out of action for over a year and a half, the Kodiac four-year-old impressed when successful on her return, with Slattery commenting in the aftermath: "If I have a Group 1 horse, this is it." UK raider Clarendon House is the highest-rated runner in the line-up and is sure to have plenty of supporters with Colin Keane aboard. The eight-time winner lost all chance when very slow out of the stalls in the Epsom Dash on his most recent start, but was successful the time before that at York. First and second 12-months ago, Go Athletico and Ano Syra again do battle, with the latter an excellent third in a Group 3 at the Curragh on her latest outing. A close-up second and third in a Listed contest at Naas last month, Twilight Jet and So Majestic are others that warrant respect.

Having run out an impressive winner at York's Dante Meeting on his penultimate start, CLARENDON HOUSE gave himself no chance following a very slow start when last of 14 in the Dash at Epsom 2 weeks ago. He gets the tentative vote in the hope that blip was a one-off. Ano Syra and last year's winner Go Athletico head up the dangers, with low-mileage filly Easy another to keep on side this term.

There could be more improvement to come from EASY who shrugged off the effects of a long absence with a Listed 6f win here in March

19:08 Cork Group 3 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A runner-up over the course and distance in the Noblesse, SUMIHA might be able to reverse the form with Thunder Roll. Just half-a-length separated the pair in that Listed contest, with the selection finishing fast after meeting with some trouble in running. The Dermot Weld-trained four-year-old again filled the runner-up spot on her most recent outing at the Curragh and would be a deserving winner of this Group 3 prize. Third, seventh and eleventh in the Noblesse, Trevaunance, Joupe and Derida all return to the Mallow venue, with the latter, who won a Listed race in France, fitted with a tongue strap for the first time. Getting a weight allowance on account of her age, Greenfinch is another leading hope. A fine fourth in Group 3 company at Leopardstown when last seen, she finished ahead of three subsequent winners and taking a significant step-up in trip now, it'll be interesting to see how she fares.

The score is one apiece in the head-to-head between SUMIHA and Thunder Roll, and it was again just half-a-length that seperated them when the latter emerged on top in a C&D listed race in April. Thunder Roll is actually 3 lb better off with the runner-up now but the Dermot Weld-trained filly took another step forward when again finding one too good at the Curragh since and she remains capable of better still. The 3-y-o Greenfinch and Trevaunance also need considering.

Unlucky when beaten 1l by Thunder Roll over C&D in April, SUMIHA was since runner-up at the Curragh and can go one better today.

19:43 Cork Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

First time cheekpieces worked a treat on CARLO BIANCONI at Sligo last month, making the breakthrough on what was his handicap debut. The Joseph O'Brien-trained four-year-old was however later disqualified, after winning rider Wayne Hassett claimed 7lb instead of five. Owned by the shrewd Kevin Blake, the French-bred bay looks nicely treated here on a mark of 77 and should go close with Hassett again on board. Jaafel didn't get the clearest of runs when fifth at Leopardstown last week and is of definite interest for the in-form yard of Charles Byrnes. Six-time winner Timourid was successful on that same Leopardstown card and he is sure to have plenty of supporters in his bid to follow-up. An excellent fifth in a Grade 1 over flights when last seen, Eastern Legend is another for the shortlist, while the returning Taipan and 2021 winner Morph Speed (first time cheekpieces) also warrant respect.

While it's a concern that JAAFEL has yet to strike on turf following 22 attempts, he is clearly effective on grass and could be worth chancing on the back of a very encouraging effort at Leopardstown last week. Carlo Bianconi was first past the post in a Sligo handicap last month and looks very dangerous off the same mark, while Take Heart is third choice. Taipan also merits respect and will be a threat if fit enough to do himself justice.

Disqualified on a technicality after winning a Sligo handicap last time, CARLO BIANCONI(nap) can make amends off the same mark today.

20:13 Cork Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MASOUN might be able to defy top weight in this very competitive affair. The Johnny Murtagh-trained bay raced in last at Fairyhouse on his most recent start, making significant ground up the inner in the home straight, eventually finishing a close second. Out of Listed winner Massinga, the 75-rated gelding might be able to go a place better now. Lord Church justified strong market support when successful at Limerick last month and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow up. An eye-catching fourth at the Curragh recently, Avatar Jet is an interesting contender with Shane Foley aboard, while others for the shortlist are course winner Signor Ferrari, Leopardstown fourth Zenato and Gowran winner Timeonourside.

LORD CHURCH justified strong support when making a winning handicap debut at Limerick last month and, with the promise of better to come, it's unlikely that a 5 lb rise will stop him in his tracks. Masoun put in a good shift when runner-up at Fairyhouse recently and he is feared most but Timeonourside, who took a step forward when emerging on top at Gowran, also merits serious consideration. Zenato is best of the rest.

Though raised 3lb for his unlucky second at Fairyhouse last time, MASOUN could be still well-handicapped as he should have won that day

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
