The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
ZOFFANIEN is top-rated in this and looks the pick. He failed to make much impression in a competitive event at Killarney the other day, but this is an easier task. He had run well over slightly shorter than this at Ballinrobe last month and John Shinnick is back on board having rode him then. Robinstown looks an obvious danger but may need a stiffer test of stamina than this. He was third over 3m2f over fences at Down Royal last time. It Could Be You won a claimer over a similar trip here last month and also has to be on the shortlist.
ROBINSTOWN can boast recent winning form, which cannot be said for most, and returned to timber, he's just about the most persuasive option. Zoffanien and Natural Look are just a couple of potential threats.
Though poor last time, NATURAL LOOK would be the one to beat on the form of her previous third in a Listed handicap at Navan.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
LIEBER NICC ran with promise in a couple of strong contests over the winter and should be up to winning at this time of year. The Champs Elysees gelding was last seen finishing third to Argento Boy in a Fairyhouse bumper having been a staying-on eighth in a good maiden hurdle at Leopardstown previously. The fact that he doesn't have to carry a penalty here looks a plus. Ayiko has to give 8lb away having won a bumper at Ayr last December. He was a decent third over timber at Naas last month and is a big player on that form. Clodders Dream ran well in a rated novice contest when last seen at Limerick over Christmas and is another to consider.
CLODDERS DREAM ran right up to his best when third at Limerick in December and with this step back up in trip sire to suit, he's fancied to open his account. Liber Nicc and Ayiko head the opposition.
Ayr bumper winner Ayiko has good credentials but may not be capable of conceding 8lb to LIEBER NICC, third in a bumper at Naas

5/1(-150%) | (2) Whatyouwant 5/1, 20/1, career best when winning 11-runner handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (21.4f, good) 9 days ago. Not taken lightly up 7 lb given she's unexposed. Better ground made a big difference on her handicap debut at Ballinrobe, may defy 8lb rise. |

12th (8) (22/1 -10%) Robin Elite |
22/1(-10%) | (8) Robin Elite 22/1, Broke blood vessel when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Cork (16f, heavy, 10/1) 172 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Gearoid O'Loughlin. Bellewstown third last August was quite promising, pulled up last time, has changed stable. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
TIDEWAYS HERO ran well on her handicap debut at Punchestown when last seen in October and is capable of winning a race of this standard on her return. The Mount Nelson mare made up plenty of ground from the rear when third to Irish Envoy and there looks scope for further improvement. Whatyouwant showed significant improvement when scoring at 20/1 at Ballinrobe nine days ago. She went up 8lb for that victory and should be competitive again. Across The Ocean ran solid enough races on his last couple of starts last year and is another for the shortlist on his seasonal debut.
WHATYOUWANT took her for to a whole new level when making a winning handicap debut at Ballinrobe and looks one to keep on the right side of. Tideways Hero has more to offer for her leading yard, with C'est Rien also considered.
Michael Griffin's WHATYOUWANT(nap) was an emphatic winner on her handicap debut at Ballinrobe last week and can cope with an 8lb rise.

Switches from Flat to hurdles on debut for new yard and worth noting if the market speaks in his favour. Won a Dundalk claimer in March, very poor hurdles form, possible he will be transformed. |

7th (5) (12/1 +40%) Castlehill Boy |
12/1(+40%) | (5) Castlehill Boy 12/1, Tongue strap on for 1st time, below form seventh of 12 in handicap hurdle at this course (16.6f, heavy, 25/1). Off 6 months and betting may prove a useful guide. Placed twice in bumpers, modest form over hurdles, below best on final two starts in 20223. |

8th (7) (12/1 -33%) Moyvilla Lass |
12/1(-33%) | (7) Moyvilla Lass 12/1, Bit below form fourth of 15 in handicap hurdle (9/2) at Kilbeggan (24.4f, good). Off 8 months. Back down in trip. Yet to finish in the first three but has taken fourth place three times, may improve. |

9th (2) (16/1 +0%) Glas Acres |
16/1(+0%) | (2) Glas Acres 16/1, Fourteenth of 19 in handicap hurdle (22/1) at Tipperary (16f, good to soft) 23 days ago. That was his first start for 5 months and this should reveal more. Showed some ability on first two hurdle runs, two more recent runs much less encouraging. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (6) (66/1 -32%) Temptation Time |
66/1(-32%) | (6) Temptation Time 66/1, Minor promise on first of 3 starts in maiden hurdles but offered little since, fifteenth of 16 in handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (20.5f, good to soft, 66/1) in a first-time tongue strap 22 days ago. Can only be watched. Faded tamely on handicap debut at Bellewstown, 66-1 then so expectations were not high. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (11) (25/1 -108%) Turkey And Ham |
25/1(-108%) | (11) Turkey And Ham 25/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Good fourth of 9 in handicap hurdle (28/1) at Perth (20.2f, good to soft) in August, headway 2f out and plugging on. Absent since but possible she may yet have more to offer on the back of just 5 career starts. Fourth in 2m4f Perth handicap last August was a step in the right direction, more needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (1) (9/2 +0%) Doonbeg Don |
9/2(+0%) | (1) Doonbeg Don 9/2, Promising individual. 4/1, below form ninth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Down Royal (22f, soft) 32 days ago, weakening before 2 out on the back of 4 months off. Remains the type to do better for very good stable. Doubt raised by a very disappointing run in handicap debut over 2m6f at Down Royal. |

13th (8) (25/1 -108%) Realtin Lonrach |
25/1(-108%) | (8) Realtin Lonrach 25/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Tenth of 20 in novice hurdle (300/1) at Fairyhouse (16f, heavy) 46 days ago. Makes handicap hurdle debut. Maiden form has been poor though sign of slight improvement at Fairyhouse in March. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
FLICKER OF HOPE could be well named having shaped with much more promise on his handicap debut at Limerick last month. The Buck's Boum gelding had been well beaten in three maiden hurdles, but got a lot closer when fourth to The Big Cloud last time. Better jumps then at the last two might have seen him even closer and he's open to further improvement. Tingarran Express comes here in fine form and is entitled to be a big player again. She ran well under a penalty at Tipperary last time and is only 1lb higher now. Victory Star won a Dundalk claimer and is one to note on his first start for Charles Byrnes.
Having gained her breakthrough success here 2 starts back, TINGARRAN EXPRESS ran another solid race when runner-up at Tipperary 23 days ago and in the hope the return to further doesn't catch her out, all looks set fair for another big run. Flicker of Hope and Doonbeg Don look the pair to give her most to think about.
In good form lately, TINGARRAN EXPRESS is suited by this track, the scene of her only win and three of her five placed efforts

2nd (16) (6/1 +63%) Early Arrival |
6/1(+63%) | (16) Early Arrival 6/1, One win from 32 NH runs. Bit below form ninth of 17 in handicap hurdle at Naas (19.3f, soft, 7/2) 30 days ago, plugging on when untidy last. 14/1(+0%) | (12) Jake Peter 14/1, 40/1, fourth of 24 in handicap hurdle at Naas (18.8f, soft) 42 days ago, headed between last 2 and fading. May find a couple too good here. Naas fourth was his best run in this discipline for a long time and trip/ground fine. |

7th (13) (20/1 -43%) The Mass Path |
20/1(-43%) | (13) The Mass Path 20/1, Had caught the eye on occasions over hurdles before being pulled up in handicap hurdle at this course (20f, heavy) in January. Represents a very shrewd stable and worth noting if the market speaks in his favour back from an absence. Second in Sligo maiden last July his best effort so far; struggled on winter ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (6/1 -71%) Aboy Joey |
6/1(-71%) | (7) Aboy Joey 6/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Good second of 13 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (16.9f, heavy, 4/1) 27 days ago. Going the right way now and worth considering. Narrow defeats in first two handicaps on much softer terrain, got 4lb hike for each. |

10th (2) (9/1 +10%) Housemartin |
9/1(+10%) | (2) Housemartin 9/1, One win from 3 runs last season. Winner in hurdle here in October. 11/1, possibly needed the run when tenth of 20 in handicap hurdle at Cork (20f, heavy) 56 days ago. Entitled to be closer to form now. Goes well here and won 2m handicap off 10lb lower in October; all his form on soft/heavy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (10) (9/2 +10%) Ballybrack Wood |
9/2(+10%) | (10) Ballybrack Wood 9/2, Lightly-raced maiden. 9/4, seventh of 10 in handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (24.5f, good to soft) 22 days ago, proving too free on the back of a 4-month break. Steps back in trip now and he remains the type to do better. Sent off 9-4 fav for handicap debut at Bellewstown but didn't get home over 3m. |

12th (11) (12/1 -118%) Charlies Pride |
12/1(-118%) | (11) Charlies Pride 12/1, Much improved in handicaps last summer, opening his account at Kilbeggan (2m) in August. Improved again when fourth at Listowel a month later and manner and entitled to be sharper for a spin in Punchestown charity race earlier this month. Small yard amongst winners and 5yo has no issues with goodish ground; interesting.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (6) (33/1 -65%) Reversal |
33/1(-65%) | (6) Reversal 33/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Ninth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (24.5f, good to soft, 20/1) 22 days ago. 15th (1) (25/1 -178%) Teagarden Jazz |
25/1(-178%) | (1) Teagarden Jazz 25/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Running creditably on back of 15 months off when falling in handicap hurdle (11/1) at Bellewstown (17f, good to soft) 22 days ago, might have been placed. Not dismissed if over those exertions. Back from 451 day absence when last-flight faller at Bellewstown; will handle the ground. |

|PU| (9) (40/1 +20%) Rushford |
40/1(+20%) | (9) Rushford 40/1, Lightly-raced maiden over hurdles. Eighth of 14 in handicap (100/1) at Dundalk (10.7f) 34 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Switches from Flat to hurdles. Plenty to find on form. Dual Flat winner on quick ground in Britain; modest form Flat and jumps for this yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
ABOY JOEY has run well on his last couple of outings and going a bit further now may suit the Arctic Cosmos gelding. He went down by three-parts of a length to the in-form Ernie From Nurney at Limerick last month and still looks fairly treated, despite a 4lb rise. Malinas Glory is another who has been showing up well recently and looks like an obvious danger. He gained a confidence-boosting win in a point-to-point in February and ran well on his return to the 'track' when chasing home King Of Cong at Limerick. Teagarden Jazz wasn't running too badly when falling at Bellewstown and is still relatively unexposed. She's another to consider.
CHARLIES PRIDE made a bright start in handicaps last summer, marking himself down as one to keep onside, so, with the benefit of a recent run in a charity race at Punchestown under his belt, he's given the nod to prove himself still well-treated back in this sphere. Aboy Joey is knocking on the door and feared. Ballybrack Wood, Reversal and Malinas Glory are others to consider.
Charity races are an underappreciated source of winners and CHARLIES PRIDE, in good form when last seen hurdling, has had a recent spin

Dam (h75) lightly raced over hurdles, out of sister to smart bumper winner/useful hurdler (2m-2½m winner) Wither Or Which. Interesting what the market makes of her on debut. By a quality sire but cost only 2,500euros as a 3yo; still worth a market check. |

5th (8) (100/1 +20%) Shanlaylin |
100/1(+20%) | (8) Shanlaylin 100/1, Finished midfield at best in bumpers last year but yet to better poor form in 2 starts in mares' maiden hurdles in recent months. Some ability in four bumpers and two maiden hurdles but was poor at Tramore last time. |

7th (9) (2/1 +27%) Stoneyford Lady |
2/1(+27%) | (9) Stoneyford Lady 2/1, Promise when fourth on hurdles debut at Naas (2m, soft) in January and seemingly not 100% when last of 8 switched to a bumper at Leopardstown (2m) in March. Remains the type to do better back over timber. Fine fourth on debut over hurdles but poor in a bumper since and a question mark now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (7/2 +50%) Stormalong |
7/2(+50%) | (1) Stormalong 7/2, Remains a maiden after 11 hurdle runs. 66/1, fourteenth of 19 in handicap hurdle at Leopardstown (18f, soft) 102 days ago, losing place before 3 out. Well beaten on last three starts but is more effective on this ground; chance if at best. |

|PU| (15) (5/2 -81%) Kimy |
5/2(-81%) | (15) Kimy 5/2, Fair hurdler. Faced stiff task when pulled up in Grade 1 Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, soft, 200/1) 103 days ago won by Kargese, behind when pulled up before last. Could yet get back on track returned to calmer waters. Ambitious task in a Grade 1 last time; this is much more suitable and should go close. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (100/1 -150%) Theoneiwant |
100/1(-150%) | (10) Theoneiwant 100/1, Policy Maker mare. Dam (c117/h115) 2m-3m hurdle/chase winner (stayed 3¼m). By a useful sire but unsold for 1,800euros as a 3yo; best watched for future reference. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
KIMY was outclassed in Grade 1 company when last seen, but would be the one to beat on her previous form over hurdles. She ran a nice race on her Irish debut when fourth to Highwind in a strong event at Punchestown and had been runner-up in France before joining Tom Mullins. This looks like a nice opportunity now that she has her sights lowered. Stoneyford Lady is another who could be a big player. She was fourth to Tullyhill on her hurdling debut at Naas before a disappointing effort in a mares' bumper at Leopardstown. Stormalong was well beaten in a competitive handicap at Leopardstown, but previous form gives her a chance of getting involved.
KIMY never figured in Grade 1 company when last seen in February but she'd previously showed enough to think a race of this nature is within her grasp and she can come out on top returned to calmer waters. Stoneyford Lady, who shaped with promise on her hurdles bow is a danger if dispelling her latest effort in a Leopardstown bumper. Point winner Scar Bridge is another worth a second look.
Preference is for KIMY, who ran a fine race on Irish debut at Punchestown behind subsequent winners and is forgiven a poor run last time

|PU| (12) (12/1 -9%) Golden Temple |
12/1(-9%) | (12) Golden Temple 12/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Sixth of 9 in handicap hurdle (16/1) at Tipperary (16f, good to soft) 23 days ago. That was his first start for 6 months and this 4-y-o is likely to improve further in handicaps. Ran well enough in a Tipperary handicap last time; needs more off the same mark. |

Phidelma Elvin got a good tune from WOODSTREAM LAD when he won on his first start for Philip Rothwell at Thurles last November and he may be able to strike again on his return. The Soldier Of Fortune gelding ran well in a competitive event at Leopardstown subsequently and despite a 4lb rise since, he could still have a bit more improvement in him. She's A Fine Wine impressed on her first start for Henry de Bromhead before a decent effort in Grade 3 company at Navan. She is better than she showed on her final outing in very testing conditions at Limerick. Dame Rapide is still fairly unexposed over hurdles and is another to consider.
A leap of faith is required in supporting MORNING SOLDIER given his latest form figures but those exploits came in the face of some stiff tasks and, remaining with an air of unfinished business about him in this sphere, he could just be worth chancing back from 47 days off with his sights lowered. Woodstream Lad was in good form late last year and he's feared. She's A Fine Wine and Golden Temple also command a second look.
Though returning after a break, WOODSTREAM LAD could still be well-handicapped after running well in a strong Leopardstown novice

Willie Mullins introduces Soldier Of Fortune gelding CUCKOO VALLEY and he may be good enough to make a winning start. The five-year-old is a half-brother to the ill-fated Timesremembered, who was a Grade 2 winner over hurdles and was runner-up in Grade 1 company. Fad Eadrainn looks the pick of those to have run. The Mustameet gelding was third on his first couple of starts, including behind Readin Tommy Wrong on debut at Tipperary. The market may prove the best guide to the chances of Beaufort Scale, who was fourth in a point-to-point for Gordon Elliott last December.
CUCKOO VALLEY is in excellent hands and should be sufficiently tuned up to make a winning start in a thin race. Point recruit Beaufort Scale is a potential danger and Rollthedicedoyen makes some appeal on pedigree.
Willie Mullins' CUCKOO VALLEY is the selection to make a winning debut and extend his dominance in bumpers.
Ths is the racecard key.
