LTO Selection:

13:30 Chepstow Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Last-time-out winner EYE OF THE WATER was victorious at Bath earlier in the month and a 3lb rise may not be enough to stop him from completing a double. The returning Alyara also makes appeal if picking up where she left off last season, while you couldn't rule out a big run from San Francisco Bay either. He gets in off a light weight and was second last time out at Ffos Las.

EYE OF THE WATER got back on the scoreboard at Bath earlier this month and still looks feasibly treated. He may be able to follow up. San Francisco Bay and Into The Spotlight look the likeliest dangers.

Eye Of The Water should go well but MARSH BENHAM will appreciate the drying weather following a decent comeback effort at Bath.

LTO Selection:

14:05 Chepstow Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MULLINS BEACH ran his best race to date when second at Leicester on Saturday and a reproduction of that performance may be enough to see him gain a first triumph. Profitable Dreams is a potential improver having finished fourth on her racecourse debut at Kempton last week and she's feared now switched to the turf. Vidi Vici makes most appeal of the newcomers and any market support would increase interest.

MULLINS BEACH has improved from run to run and another step forward might be enough to see him take this, though newcomers Zesty Lime and Vidi Vici are both bred to be sharp and market support for either should be noted.

Mullins Beach has good claims on his Saturday run but he wasn't far ahead of JOLLY SAILOR previously and the latter can improve.

LTO Selection:

14:40 Chepstow Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BLUEBELL TIME was far-from disgraced when fourth at Bath recently and she could take advantage of a 3lb lower mark here. On Edge finished a respectable third on his return to action at Windsor last month and this former course winner should not be taken lightly in this company. Red Allure ran well on the all-weather last time and completes the shortlist.

RHUBARB made hay here last term and gets the vote off a tempting mark after showing more at Bath. Fossos is another with a fine Chepstow record and is respected despite his high draw. Cloud Cuckoo could do a lot better now handicapping at a low level for Henry Candy.

Wide-open but course winner ON EDGE has had fewer chances than most and is worth a crack at a 5f handicap. Fossos may be next best.

LTO Selection:

15:15 Chepstow Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Narrowly denied at Brighton last time out, PINWHEEL can gain compensation and gain a first win in the UK. The five-year-old has improved since having wind surgery and he gets the vote ahead of the Irish-raider Carlton Banks and Rich Rhythm, who could improve for going back up in trip. Cashew and Flagman are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

Though nearer last than first on the majority of his appearances last term, Irish-raider CARLTON BANKS is nevertheless interesting here off a much-reduced mark. The 6-y-o wasn't beaten at all far when sixth in a 22-runner handicap at the Curragh off 18 lb higher last spring (on the back of a similar absence from which he is returning to action here), and his yard is 5-11 with horses aged 4+ on turf in Britain in recent seasons. Pinwheel and Macs Dilemma rate the main dangers.

Well-connected Flagman has more to offer at 6f but CASHEW has less to prove on softish ground and is quite well treated now.

33/1(-725%)
(4) Dodgy Bob 33/1, This veteran has notched a pair of wins over 7f at Wolverhampton this year. Most of his recent good efforts have come on AW but he enjoyed plenty of success on turf earlier in his career.
Ran well here a few times without winning, so is one to consider back from seven weeks off.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The form of BOMB SQUAD's most recent placed effort at Thirsk has worked out extremely well and stepping back up in trip may see him regain the winning thread. A winner of two of his last four starts, Dodgy Bob can give him the most to think about, along with Romanovich, who was narrowly denied at Brighton last time. Others to note include Lockdown Lass, Madrinho and Moveonup.

ROMANOVICH has fewer convictions than most of these and is given a chance to build on his improved second at Brighton last time. Bomb Squad, Madrinho and the consistent Lockdown Lass are others to consider.

The only one open to any improvement in a field full of veterans, ROMANOVICH gets the nod. Bomb Squad is second choice.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Puntarelle has been in good form on the all-weather and she can go well on her handicap debut, but if TIME'S EYE improves for her first start of the season, she could be the one. Only beaten a head by Karsavina last October, who has raced in Group company since, which suggests that a mark of 79 could prove generous. Ivy Avenue intrigues over this trip after two runs over a mile and a quarter

IVY AVENUE was a fair triple winner on the Flat for Jim Bolger and could have more to offer for Mick Appleby. She takes on a field of 3-y-os here and could be the way to go. Chelmsford-winner Puntarelle is fancied as the main danger.

Today's drop from 1m should suit the strong-travelling SILVER NIGHTFALL (nap). The main danger is Time's Eye.

LTO Selection:

16:55 Chepstow Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SYMPATHISE ran on well over a furlong shorter to win by a neck at Wolverhampton off 2lb lower last month, and the added furlong may help the lightly-raced mare to negate her rise in the handicap. Fact Or Fable seems an obvious rival with two of his four wins coming over this trip, including last time out at Brighton, and he won't be stopping having scored over further. The booking of Hollie Doyle for Won Love is a positive and he is another to note.

LETTER OF THE LAW did the job well under a typically positive ride when resuming winnings ways over a mile at Brighton recently and, with neither a 4 lb rise nor the drop back to 7f of any great concern, he is taken to follow up. Fellow last-time-out winners Sympathise and Fact Or Fable are feared most, in that order of preference. Also worth a mention is Irish-raider Stickyourneckout, who should benefit from the return to this trip.

Letter Of The Law and LILANDRA (both front-runners) appeal most, assuming they don't scupper each other.
