14:22 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PRIDE OF NEPAL impressed over 1m1f at Goodwood last week and this quick reappearance off a 4lb higher mark suggests he is very capable of following up back over this longer trip. The low-mileage V Power has hinted at ability and appeals for a place on his debut for a new yard. Fen Tiger boasts some respectable form at this trip form but has done his winning with some cut in the ground, so any rain would help where he is concerned.

PRIDE OF NEPAL cemented the good start he's made for this stable when ending a losing run stretching back more than 2 years at Goodwood 9 days ago and remains fairly treated on old form. V Power is holding his form well and is next best ahead of Fen Tiger.

Judged on his recent form under Sarah Bowen, PRIDE OF NEPAL (nap) holds particularly strong claims. Fen Tiger is second choice.

14:52 Brighton Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The Easterby's ACRISIUS has shown progressive enough form in maidens in the north to suggest he can make this long journey south worthwhile, as he bid to break his duck at the fifth time of asking. With One For Harvey and the first-time hooded Cheeky Stanley both needing to find some improvement, the nicely-bred Rory Rocket won't need to be anything special to give the selection a fight on his racecourse debut.

ONE FOR HARVEY showed ability on debut when third at Kempton and normal improvement will make her the one to beat. Acrisius has been placed in a couple of similar events of late and is the obvious threat.

Northern challenger ACRISIUS holds a major chance in this uncompetitive maiden. One For Harvey is feared most.

15:22 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 6f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Broadhaven Bay benefitted most from how the race panned out when he made a winning nursery debut over the extended 5f here 12 days ago, but he might struggle to uphold the from with ROSY HOPE on the revised ratings. A fast-finishing third after a troubled run, the selection reopposes the top-weight on 4lb terms and can make the most of today's additional yardage. Kaleidoscope Eyes (third) can cement her Windsor authority over Cassandraalexandra (sixth) and appeals most of the rest.

A trappy nursery in which KALEIDOSCOPE EYES edges the vote on the back of her excellent Windsor third, with that form having been franked. Recent course third Rosy Hope could emerge as the main danger, although in-form pair Cassandraalexandra and Broadhaven Bay can have a say too.

The percentage call goes to CASSANDRAALEXANDRA, ahead of Broadhaven Bay in a tight-looking nursery.

15:52 Brighton Handicap (Class 5) 8f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having scored in comfortable fashion over C&D last time, this looks a good opportunity for OJ LIFESTYLE to follow up. Gary and Josh Moore's runner was well in command at the line last month and a 5lb rise in the ratings doesn't appear out of his reach. Ten Commitments won off this mark over 7f at Leicester in June and he is fancied to offer the sternest resistance to the selection, while Shaw Park also makes appeal after a game success over 7f at this venue 12 days ago.

OJ LIFESTYLE was seemingly revitalised by the addition of blinkers when scoring here earlier this month and remains nicely treated on old form. He can follow up. Shaw Park and Ten Commitments rate the principal dangers.

With the blinkers retained, OJ LIFESTYLE could well follow up his C&D success. Marsh Benham is second choice.

16:22 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

CLEAR JUSTICE paid for being too free over 1m2f at this venue last month, and this drop back in trip can see the three-years-old return to form. The Moore runner was denied a course hat-trick on that occasion having been well backed, but better can be expected here and he can gain compensation. Havana Mojito wasn't beaten far in third over 7f at Epsom on his penultimate start and a repeat of that effort would see him feared most, while Otago heads the remainder.

CLEAR JUSTICE proved better than ever when scoring in good style at this course in July, so he is taken to leave his last effort behind as he drops back down in trip. He can gain his third success here, with C&D winner Havana Mojito also worth forgiving her latest run and feared most. Otago is the pick of the remainder.

Judged on overall form shown this summer, HAVANA MOJITO and Clear Justice hold the strongest claims.

16:52 Brighton Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Runner-up on each of his last five starts, including at Newmarket last time out, NOGO'S DREAM deserves a change in luck and may be able to get that in this winnable contest. Richard Hughes' charge has run off higher marks in the past and he may have too much for The Waiting Game, who bounced back to form with a strong runner-up effort at Pontefract last time out. A capable sort on his day, Antiphon wasn't disgraced on his first start for new connections at Southwell on Thursday and is respected as he's turned out quickly again.

Preference is for THE WAITING GAME, who has been given a chance by the handicapper and arrives on the back of a solid effort at Pontefract a fortnight ago. Nogo's Dream and Warriors Dream can also make their presence felt.

The new headgear may enable Nogo's Dream to go one better. Otherwise, THE WAITING GAME looks poised to record a first turf win.

17:22 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

NORDIC GLORY may have disappointed when finishing a long way back in third over C&D on his penultimate outing, but he has since scored over 5f at Windsor and he looks capable of defying a 3lb rise on that evidence. A winner of two of his last four starts, C&D scorer Alfred Cove must enter calculations, along with the hat-trick seeking Bernard Spierpoint, who is unbeaten since joining the Darryll Holland stable and may not be done progressing just yet.

ALFRED COVE's latest effort over C&D was excusable, caught in the centre of the track, and he'd been in excellent form prior to that, so he takes marginal preference over last-time-out winners Nordic Glory and Bernard Spierpoint.

Back over this C&D, VICTORS DREAM is particularly interesting. Alfred Cove and Nordic Glory are solid dangers.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
