Runner-up at Naas in a similar race last month, GREAT MOVER can confirm form with those that finished in behind. Stepping back up to a mile for the first time since her racecourse debut, the Willie McCreery-trained filly was always prominent before leading over a furlong out. Staying on strongly once headed close home, she can go one better here. Buck Barrow caught the eye further back, staying on late in first-time cheekpieces. It is somewhat surprising that connections have opted to remove the headgear on this occasion. However, if able to reproduce that run, the Without Parole colt looks a serious contender. Your Call, who made much of the running before eventually finishing fourth in that Naas race is another that should be competitive.
This looks wide open so it could pay to take a chance on NOW, who was disappointing on her nursery debut at Naas a fortnight ago but she's been dropped 3 lb and first-time blinkers may well eke out some required improvement. Great Mover ran her best race when runner-up in the same race as the selection last time, so she heads up the opposition, with Baltray Lady and Your Call another couple fancied to go well, too.
A competitive nursery can go the way of BALTRAY LADY, who ran a good race when 6th behind a pair of Group 1-entered fillies at Galway

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (3/1 -20%) Storm Averted |
3/1(-20%) | (4) Storm Averted 3/1, Twice-raced filly. Third of 11 in maiden at Fairyhouse (7f, good, 16/1) 10 days ago. Step back up in trip in her favour. Likely capable of better and leading claims. Good run at Fairyhouse when third; solid claims with the extra furlong likely to suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (15/8 -70%) Ina Mina |
15/8(-70%) | (2) Ina Mina 15/8, Fair maiden. 5/1, creditable second of 10 in maiden at Clonmel (9.6f, good) 28 days ago. Unlikely to be far away again. Needed every yard when runner-up at Clonmel; respected but drop in trip not sure to suit. |

4th (5) (100/1 -52%) Winged Victory |
100/1(-52%) | (5) Winged Victory 100/1, Once-raced filly. Tenth of 11 in maiden (100/1) at Fairyhouse (7f, good) on debut 10 days ago. Beaten out of sight at Fairyhouse on debut and is best watched on this occasion. |

100/1(0%) | (1) Gray's Wishe's 100/1, 200/1, last of 11 in maiden at Fairyhouse (7f, good) on debut 10 days ago. Stable on the cold list; impossible to recommend on these terms. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
The former British-trained INA MINA has shaped well enough in three starts for Ken Condon to suggest she can get her head in front. Third in a much stronger maiden at Leopardstown on her Irish debut, the daughter of Ulysses ran respectably at Cork next time, before producing a career best when runner-up at Clonmel last time out. Provided she acts on the forecast soft ground, the three-year-old looks the one to beat. Miss Tapley should have no issues with underfoot conditions, having done all her racing on an easy surface to date. Third at Roscommon last time, the Joseph O'Brien-trained filly holds leading claims in this modest affair. Storm Averted shaped well enough when third on her latest outing to suggest she too can get involved.
STORM AVERTED has shaped well on both starts and can improve past more-established pair Miss Tapley and Ina Mina.
MISS TAPLEY boasts some solid maiden form and was short of room when third at Roscommon latest. She gets the vote.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (7/2 +0%) Finsceal Annie |
7/2(+0%) | (4) Finsceal Annie 7/2, Cheekpieces on for 1st time, creditable fourth of 13 in handicap (7/2) at Punchestown (9.2f, good) 16 days ago. 4th off 58 at Punchestown latest but handicapper might have caught up with her for now. |

3rd (5) (10/1 +0%) Guest Star |

16/1(+52%) | (14) Marvellous Lady 16/1, 80/1, seventh of 11 in handicap at Navan (10.2f, good) 12 days ago. Back down in trip. Tumbling mark but difficult to get excited about her chances despite the booking of Lordan. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (8/1 +11%) Buckhead Betty |
8/1(+11%) | (2) Buckhead Betty 8/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Creditable fifth of 12 in handicap at Clonmel (9.6f, good, 7/1) 28 days ago. 5th at Clonmel on handicap debut; behind Sweet Verona on that occasion but 2lb better off. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (10/1 +17%) Sayfa Fad |
10/1(+17%) | (8) Sayfa Fad 10/1, 16/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, respectable sixth of 13 in handicap at Dundalk (8f) 13 days ago. Colin Keane takes the ride again but others are still more persuasive. Shaped much better when staying on into sixth from rear at Dundalk (1m) last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (9/1 +25%) Dolce Far Niente |
9/1(+25%) | (10) Dolce Far Niente 9/1, Eighth of 12 in handicap at Clonmel (9.6f, good, 9/2) 28 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Claims on his placed efforts in the first half of the year. Work to reverse the form with Sweet Verona and Buckhead Betty judged on her last run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (5/1 -43%) Sweet Verona |
5/1(-43%) | (3) Sweet Verona 5/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Visored for 1st time, very good third of 12 in handicap (11/1) at Clonmel (9.6f, good) 28 days ago. Can give a good account under Billy Lee. Closely matched with Buckhead Betty on Clonmel run and holds every chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (15) (50/1 +0%) Royal Dynamite |
50/1(+0%) | (15) Royal Dynamite 50/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 50/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, last of 13 in handicap at Tipperary (9f, good) 32 days ago. Something to find on form. Failed to land a blow in three 7f maidens and was last on handicap debut at Tipperary. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

80/1(-220%) | (7) Seven Eleven 80/1, 40/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, last of 13 in handicap at Sligo (5.7f, soft) 57 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Not taken lightly. Won over 5f at Down Royal (heavy) on handicap debut last year but she's regressive now. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
A promising third on her recent handicap debut at Clonmel, SWEET VERONA can go two places better here. The Willie McCreery-trained filly had shown promise on a couple of occasions in maidens prior to improving on her initial outing in this grade. Although a high draw is a slight negative, the Make Believe filly tends to race prominently so should be quick into stride. The consistent Finsceal Annie has also found herself starting from a wide stall but she too has to be a leading contender. A winner at Tipperary in August, the Ciaran Murphy-trained filly finished runner-up either side of that success. There was also something to take from her most recent fourth at Punchestown. Are You In Or Out, who finished runner-up here in July, should appreciate returning to this venue.
The Billy Lee-ridden SWEET VERONA gets the nod to build on a promising handicap debut third at Clonmel last month and prove too strong for Monday's Down Royal scorer Alex Belardo. Ragtime Milly shaped quite well when fourth at Gowran recently and completes the shortlist.
BUCKHEAD BETTY was an eyecatching fifth on handicap debut at Clonmel last month and she can take another step forward

11/4(+50%) | (6) Eastern Wind 11/4, Eighteen runs since last win in 2023. Creditable second of 12 in handicap (9/2) at this course (7.9f, good to soft) 1 day ago. Out of form on good ground, well-handicapped and last won on soft, second here on Wednesday. |

2nd (2) (5/1 -50%) Vassula Ryden |
5/1(-50%) | (2) Vassula Ryden 5/1, 10/1, creditable fourth of 15 in handicap over C&D (good to soft) 37 days ago. The mount of Billy Lee from the yard's pair. Much respected. Won a maiden at Navan last year, best run since over this C&D last month, can go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (15/8 -25%) Presence |
15/8(-25%) | (1) Presence 15/8, Winner at Ballinrobe in July. Creditable second of 7 in handicap at Punchestown (9.2f, good, 7/4) 16 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Should go well. Won a maiden at Ballinrobe in July, second twice in handicaps since, chance; cheekpieces. |

4th (5) (18/1 -200%) Bella Colombia |
18/1(-200%) | (5) Bella Colombia 18/1, 22/1, ninth of 11 in handicap at Navan (8f, good) 12 days ago, missing break. Claims on her best form but Billy Lee is on board the stable's other runner. 0-9 on turf; slow away latest, promise over C&D last month, has run well on heavy, chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (11/1 -83%) Pepper Noir |
11/1(-83%) | (3) Pepper Noir 11/1, Fair performer. Seventh of 10 in handicap (7/2) at the Curragh (7f, soft). Off 150 days. Best form is on the AW, shaped ok on slow ground at the Curragh, chance if fit after break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (4/1 +0%) The Bog Bank |
4/1(+0%) | (4) The Bog Bank 4/1, 4-time C&D winner. Latest win here in August. 9/2, respectable third of 7 in handicap at this course (7.9f, good to soft) 1 day ago. Always feared here. Four-time C&D winner but never won on testing ground, third here Wednesday. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
The Jessica Harrington-trained PRESENCE can defy topweight here in this tight knit handicap. Runner-up at Punchestown last month, the three-year-old looked ill at ease on the track before finishing strongly. Only 2lb higher now, the daughter of New Bay catches the eye in first-time cheekpieces. Pepper Noir has been off since May but on her earlier form the Gavin Cromwell-trained filly would be a threat. Lightly raced on turf, the three-year-old shaped well on both starts at the Curragh earlier in the season. Vassula Ryden has been coming down in the handicap and there have been more positive signs of late.
PRESENCE has had a good spell in recent months and is preferred to Willie McCreery's Vassula Ryden, a creditable fourth over C&D last time. C&D specialist The Bog Bank would also need considering if turning out again.
PRESENCE is in form, she handles the ground and if the cheekpieces eke out a little bit more improvement she is up to winning this.

1st (9) (8/1 +33%) Art Of Unity |
8/1(+33%) | (9) Art Of Unity 8/1, Twenty one runs since last win in 2021. Below form fourteenth of 22 in handicap at Naas (5f, good to soft, 22/1) 39 days ago. Stable 0-115 on Flat turf in Ireland in the last five years and drying ground a concern. |

10/3(-33%) | (1) Sunday Sovereign 10/3, Course winner. Creditable second of 22 in handicap (12/1) at Naas (5f, good to soft) 39 days ago. In good heart and shortlist material. This will be sharp enough for him but he's respected under Colin Keane. |

11/1(+8%) | (10) Babyface 11/1, Respectable seventh of 13 in handicap at the Curragh (5f, good, 25/1) 40 days ago. Tongue strap back on. Tendency to miss the break cost him in recent starts, including last time at the Curragh. |

Naas runner-up SUNDAY SOVEREIGN can gain a first success for trainer George Kingston. A five-time career winner, the seven-year-old ran his best race since joining present connections when staying on well for minor honours last time. While there is a slight concern that 5f might be on the sharp side at this stage of his life, the gelding is likely to benefit from arriving late from off a fast pace. Devil's Angel, who kept on well when fifth at Fairyhouse last month, should be involved if handling the forecast soft ground. Kevin Coleman's gelding has yet to prove he acts with an ease although he has had few opportunities to do so. Lismacbryan makes her handicap debut in a moderate affair and market support would be noteworthy.
SUNDAY SOVEREIGN ran a cracker at Naas 6 weeks ago and has good claims if backing that up with Colin Keane now on board. Devil's Angel and Clarinbridge are a couple of others to consider.
The vote goes to BELLA MISTIKO, as a reproduction of her Sligo maiden second in May brings her right into this

11/2(+31%) | (1) Sea Eagle 11/2, Useful gelding. 2 wins from 6 runs this year. Latest win at Roscommon in August. 16/1, twenty second of 24 in handicap at the Curragh (8f, good) 33 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Won handicap off 79 last month, tough task latest, up in trip, others better treated. |

6th (3) (14/1 -320%) Weston |
14/1(-320%) | (3) Weston 14/1, Useful gelding. Badly hampered when seventeenth of 20 in handicap at Galway (16.8f, good to soft, 40/1) 66 days ago. Returned with an encouraging run prior to that and makes definite appeal. Rated 95, promise at Navan on stable bow, may need stiffer test, big chance on the figures. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Highly tried since making a winning reappearance at Leopardstown in April, CHANTILLY can register a second career victory. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt shaped well in some hotly contested handicaps prior to finding Group 3 class a bridge too far last time. Back in these much calmer waters, the son of Galileo should take all the beating. Poetic Sound is a lightly-raced gelding open to any amount of improvement. Sent off favourite when third on his racecourse debut at Killarney in July, the Ger Lyons-trained three-year-old recovered losses at Roscommon the following month. That form has since received a boost when the runner-up won at Listowel. Topweight Sea Eagle cannot be discounted with the aid of Jack Cleary's 7lb claim.
CHANTILLY hasn't really kicked on from a promising start to the season but this represents a marked drop in class and he should be able to capitalise for all that Weston is a big threat on form. Poetic Sound is open to further improvement and isn't a forlorn hope.
POETIC SOUND (nap) won well over this trip on testing ground at Roscommon. He is unexposed and there should be plenty more to come

7th (2) (3/1 -20%) Grann's Boy |
3/1(-20%) | (2) Grann's Boy 3/1, Bit below form fifth of 12 in handicap (10/3) at Tramore (16.4f, good to soft) 47 days ago. Back down in trip. Shaped well on his previous outing and is tried in first-time blinkers, so worth chancing in a weak race. Won over this trip off 4lb lower last October, blinkers go on, ground will suit, chance. |

8th (10) (12/1 -9%) Arcland |
12/1(-9%) | (10) Arcland 12/1, One win from 21 Flat runs. 10/3, fourth of 6 in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (19f, soft) 29 days ago. Cheekpieces on for 1st time in this code. 10th (7) (13/2 +7%) Lord Park |
13/2(+7%) | (7) Lord Park 13/2, One win from 33 Flat runs. Twenty runs since last win in 2021. Creditable sixth of 12 in handicap (12/1) at Down Royal (12.8f, good to firm) 27 days ago. Not dismissed. Decent effort latest, slight drop in trip and soft ground a worry, others more likely. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Michael Halford and Tracey Collins can add another winner here with SLIEVE BEARNAGH. Well backed when staying on strongly over two furlongs shorter at Navan last time, the seven-year-old should appreciate stepping up in trip. Ridden by an inexperienced 10lb apprentice at the County Meath track, the son of Zoffany now has Ronan Whelan back in the saddle. Twice successful over hurdles earlier in the year, the Paul Rooney-owned gelding looks well handicapped on the Flat. Trainer Harry Rogers runs three in this race, and Arcland could prove to be the best of his trio. Stablemate Grann's Boy, who is equipped with first-time blinkers, should also give his trainer a strong chance.
Having shaped as if well treated on his penultimate outing, GRANN'S BOY didn't fire last time, but he's had a break and blinkers are applied, so he's the most appealing in a weak race on paper. Slieve Bearnagh is one of the few to arrive in form and he's regarded as the main danger.
NOBLE ANDY is a speculative selection. He caught the eye making late gains last time over shorter and this step up in trip will suit

2nd (2) (33/1 -32%) Gotta Catch'em All |

11/1(-10%) | (6) Glyde Ranger 11/1, One win from 28 Flat runs. Creditable fourth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (10.7f, 25/1) 13 days ago, never nearer. Back to form when fourth at Dundalk on latest, has C&D form, handles soft, can't discount. |

14/1(-17%) | (7) Saxon Land 14/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Last of 15 in handicap at Roscommon (12.1f, soft, well-backed 9/2) 31 days ago. Fine run at Sligo on handicap bow, 2lb lower, poor effort latest, probably best watched. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
A contest run in memory of his late wife Mary, trainer Harry Rogers can gain an appropriate success with GOTTA CATCH'EM ALL. The lightly-raced son of Free Eagle wasn't able to trouble the judge in two handicap runs last month, but he is 5lb lower for the latest of those efforts and a marked step up in trip could unlock some improvement. Topweight Enquire Within had been threatening to get her head in front for some time prior to winning at Down Royal last month. Runner-up on two occasions at this track, the mare should run her race under Wesley Joyce. Roscommon runner-up Kool One is a lightly raced gelding that should be open to more improvement than most after just the six starts.
ENQUIRE WITHIN is holding her form well and has the most persuasive claims of these. Prairie Angel and Kool One are a couple of the dangers.
Preference is for IMPERIAL MISS. She showed promise the last twice and the step back up in trip and return to soft ground will suit
Ths is the racecard key.
