16:05 Bellewstown Claimer 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Although yet to strike form during his second stint with trainer Denis Hogan, CHURCH MOUNTAIN is afforded another chance now he drops in grade. A three-time winner during his first spell with Hogan, the six-year-old won for Michael O'Callaghan last term. The son of Pride of Dubai needs to improve on recent efforts but is well treated at these weights. The locally trained Tartaraghan arrives here in better form than most having finished runner-up at Ballinrobe last time. John McConnell's filly was also second in a maiden at this venue last season. A lightly raced three-year-old, the Gavin Cromwell-trained More Profit could be open to improvement, especially with her sights lowered here.

CHURCH MOUNTAIN isn't the safest conveyance but has a good chance on these terms if he puts his best foot forward. Stablemate Tai Sing Yeh is a player, while Chestnutter has claims if staging a revival.

TARTARAGHAN (nap) was runner-up in a claimer last week and in receipt from most, she ought to go well if taking to cheekpieces

16:40 Bellewstown Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The Eoghan O'Neill-trained SHOCKER looks to have been found a nice opportunity to gain a first career success. Runner-up on his penultimate start at Tipperary in May, the gelding finished in rear in the Chesham Stakes at Ascot last time. The very fact his trainer elected to run the horse in that listed race suggests that he is capable of better. First-time cheekpieces may aid the son of Shaman. The Road Is Long was hampered on two occasions prior to finishing eighth on his racecourse debut at Fairyhouse last month. With a clearer passage on this occasion, the Joseph O'Brien-trained colt should be involved at the finish. Political Power made a pleasing debut when fourth at Chantilly in April before disappointing last time. A reproduction of that French form would make the Adrian Murray-trained colt a serious threat.

THE ROAD IS LONG offered something work on under a considerate ride at Fairyhouse on his debut 3 weeks ago and, with the step up in trip promising to suit, he's fancied to get off the mark at the second time of asking. Shocker and Political Power both have strong claims if returning to their earlier form.

THE ROAD IS LONG shaped with promise on his debut, meeting some trouble in running and giving the impression this new trip may suit

17:15 Bellewstown Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Last year's winner IMPOSING SUPREME holds leading claims despite the slight concern that he lacks a recent outing. Trainer Thomas Gibney has his string in rude health at present and the eight-year-old can run off an identical mark to that which he was successful off 12 months ago. With all five successes coming at this time of the year, he may just be one that comes to himself with the sun on his back. Curragh runner-up Blackcastle Storm should again be very competitive for Matthew Smith. The son of Showcasing beat all bar an improving lightly raced three-year-old on that occasion. With jockey bookings suggesting that Rampage is the better fancied of the two McCourt runners, the five-year-old commands respect.

EASTERN WIND turned in her best effort of the season when third at Leopardstown and she remains on a potentially handy mark. Breezy Zoff and Blackcastle Storm head the dangers.

EASTERN WIND is back on a good mark and shades the vote after two promising runs at Leopardstown last month

17:50 Bellewstown Maiden 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Runner-up on her racecourse debut at the Curragh last month, the Ger Lyons-trained YEFIMENKO can go one better. Prominent throughout on that occasion, the daughter of Invincible Army was only headed late on. Given that she should be sharper for the run, the decision to drop back to the minimum trip here could pay dividends. Emerald Harmony sets a fair standard for the rest to aim at. Having attained a mark of 72 after the five starts, the Johnny Murtagh-trained filly has crucial experience which should stand to her. First-time cheekpieces should also help the Soldier's Call filly. Cork second Crystal Luna should also make her presence felt for Danny Murphy and Gavin Ryan.

YEFIMENKO ran to a good level first-time out when second of 18 at the Curragh last month and sets a high standard. Emerald Harmony can fill the runner-up spot again with Crystal Luna and Pink Oxalis best of the others.

Hard to look beyond YEFIMENKO on the back of a very promising recent Curragh debut where she showed plenty of speed

18:25 Bellewstown Handicap 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

With Colin Keane an eye-catching booking, SHOEBOX KING can gain a third career success. The champion jockey has done well when linking up with trainer Kevin Coleman in recent times, so his presence on the five-year-old should be noted. Now 5lb below his last winning mark, the gelded son of Aclaim has hinted at a return to form in recent outings. Wolverhampton winner Elliott showed that there were more races in him when keeping on nicely over this trip at Down Royal last time. Given that that was just his third Irish start, the three-year-old should be open to improvement. Spirit Of Eagles has run well enough on her latest two starts to suggest she can win one of these at some point.

SHOEBOX KING produced his best effort of the season when fourth at Tipperary a month ago and having been eased a further 2 lb coupled with a positive jockey booking, he has plenty to recommend him. Elliott caught the eye at Down Royal last time so he's a danger, along with Comein Comein.

Comein Comein and ELLIOTT are closely matched on a recent run and the latter may reverse form now he's better off at the weights

19:00 Bellewstown Maiden 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Irish Oaks entrant ANDROMEDA should be good enough to make a winning reappearance. Runner-up on all three starts as a juvenile, the form of those races have worked out particularly well. Connections are obviously keen to get a winning bracket for the daughter of Galileo who has strong claims in this company. Riviera Queen has her sights lowered having contested a Group 3 at Navan last time. The very fact connections opted to give her just her third career start in that class suggests that she must be showing plenty at home. The Johnny Murtagh-trained Kisiyra also enters calculations. Although somewhat disappointing at Roscommon last time, the Aga Khan-owned filly had previously run well when fourth at Gowran Park.

ANDROMEDA could have plenty more to offer up in trip this year and can make a successful return. Riviera Queen found the Salsabil Stakes too hot last time and has a good chance back in a maiden. Market Timing heads up some interesting newcomers.

Andromeda holds some big-race entries but is opposed here by SISSI who looked to be crying out for this sort of trip at Gowran

19:35 Bellewstown Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Having shown definite improvement over hurdles of late, MACINAMILLION is of obvious interest back on the Flat, although he was a beaten favourite when third here on Thursday evening. Trained by Gavin Cromwell, the four-year-old son of Markaz was placed on two occasions on the level last summer. Despite being drawn out in stall 14, the gelding should be capable of a big run. Metamorpheus probably found the two-mile trip stretching his stamina at Listowel last time, so should be favoured by the trip back in distance now. Similar to Macinamillion, the Paul Nolan-trained gelding has shown more over hurdles than on the flat to date. C&D winner No Trouble continues to run well at the age of eight. He, too, should be capable of getting involved.

PARTY MOON has switched yards several times in his career but his opening effort for his new stable was promising and with headgear back on, he makes plenty of appeal from his modest mark. Navajo River and Metamorpheus are a couple of potential threats.

METAMORPHEUS showed enough at Listowel to suggest he could be a major player dropped in trip.

20:10 Bellewstown Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Runner-up over course and distance last September, ENQUIRE WITHIN has been running well enough of late to suggest she can get her head in front. Nicely drawn in the middle stall, the eight-year-old is reunited with jockey Danny Sheehy. Charlie Darling looked to be coming back into form when third at Navan in May but failed to replicate that effort when well beaten at Leopardstown last time. With that latter run surely too bad to be true, the Gavin Cromwell-trained four-year-old could be dangerous now. Kartayaz is arguably a better horse on the all-weather but shaped well enough when fourth at Fairyhouse last time to suggest he can add to his sole previous win on turf.

Not a particularly convincing bunch but BUILDING BRIDGES should surely be a factor from this modest mark given his hurdles ability so he's awarded the vote. Mephisto and Enquire Within are possible dangers.

Quite open but perhaps ENQUIRE can gain reward for a recent string of consistent efforts
