Ten Club |
(5) (15/2 -7%)15/2(-7%) | (5) Ten Club 15/2, Winner at Chelmsford City in April. 9/4, last of 5 in handicap at Brighton (5.3f, good) 23 days ago, beaten over 1f out. Others more persuasive. Made virtually all at Chelmsford (6f; 3-1 fav) penultimate start; excuse at Brighton since. |

1st (8) (9/2 +31%) Revenue |
9/2(+31%) | (8) Revenue 9/2, 5/1, second of 8 in handicap at Salisbury (6f, heavy) 8 days ago, no match for winner. Needs to back that up now. Reeled in towards finish at Salisbury (6f) last week; is perfectly entitled to have a say.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (11/1 +21%) Call Time |
11/1(+21%) | (3) Call Time 11/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 40/1, gelded/off 7 months, probably needed the run when seventh of 11 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 32 days ago. Something to find on form. Placed at Newbury (6f; 200-1) last September; no further progress since; needs more.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (9/2 -13%) Gogo Yubari |
9/2(-13%) | (1) Gogo Yubari 9/2, Five wins from 10 runs this year. Respectable sixth of 11 in handicap (10/1) at Lingfield (5f, good to firm) 13 days ago. Has good chance on form. Ran up sequence of AW wins (5f-6f) since joining D Cunha; may be too high in weights now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (10/3 +17%) Profit Street |
10/3(+17%) | (6) Profit Street 10/3, Showed much-improved form to make a winning nursery debut at Newcastle (5f) in November and progressed again after 6 months off when just failing back at that venue (6f) 3 weeks ago. Remains lightly raced and he's one to be interested in back on turf. Newcastle winner (5f); progressed again when runner-up there (6f) last time; key player.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (9/1 +10%) Ottoman Force |
9/1(+10%) | (2) Ottoman Force 9/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, respectable fourth of 8 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to soft, 25/1) 22 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time. Fourth of eight on seasonal reappearance at Doncaster (6f); blinkers replace cheekpieces.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (14/1 -17%) Moe's Legacy |
14/1(-17%) | (9) Moe's Legacy 14/1, Winner at Kempton in February. 9/2, eighth of 10 in handicap at this C&D (good to soft) 35 days ago, slowly away. Blinkers on 1st time. Dug in at Kempton (6f; from 5lb lower) in February; less effective lately; blinkers go on.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (25/1 -108%) Dark Fandango |
25/1(-108%) | (4) Dark Fandango 25/1, €100,000 yearling purchase who caught the eye when fourth on qualifying run in a Windsor maiden (5.1f) last July. Heavy ground/9-month break may have caught him out on handicap debut back there 18 days ago and he's not one to be giving up on. Reportedly unsuited by soft ground when a distant last of five at Windsor; risks attached.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (3/1 +14%) Hearitfortheboys |
3/1(+14%) | (7) Hearitfortheboys 3/1, Career best when winning 8-runner handicap (13/2) at Windsor (6f, good to soft) 25 days ago, driven out. Rider's claim more than off-sets rise in weights and he's not out of things. Ex-stablemate of Profit Street; Windsor winner last month; 7lb claimer takes over.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
HEARITFORTHEBOYS showed his appreciation for the return to turf when accounting for a couple of in-form opponents at Windsor, and the recent rain is in his favour. Revenue was well behind him in fifth, but has improved since to occupy the runner-up berth at Salisbury. Profit Street went agonisingly close on his comeback at Newcastle and is a player again off 4lb higher, while Ottoman Force has blinkers fitted after a decent Doncaster display. Ten Club's Brighton no-show means he has something to prove now.
A winner on nursery debut at Newcastle in November, PROFIT STREET improved further when just touched off on his return at that venue 3 weeks ago, challenging on flank/from much further back than the one who beat him. He could do better again and edges the vote ahead of Windsor-scorer Hearitfortheboys. Dark Fandango shouldn't be written off just yet, and along with Gogo Yubari, completes the shortlist.
Nigel Tinkler's PROFIT STREET posted a career-best effort at Newcastle last time, so could make the long journey south a fruitful one.

Brother to several winners, including useful 2-y-o 6f winner No Leaf Clover and useful 5f winner Geocentric and useful 2-y-o 5f winner To Wafij. Comfortably on top at Yarmouth on debut; penalised and slower ground to deal with today. |

Highly respected on debut. Second top lot at last month's Goffs Breeze Ups, fetching £380,000; obvious paper appeal. |

10/1(+60%) | (10) Emporess 10/1, Hampered early when fifth of 7 in novice event at Salisbury (5f, heavy) on debut 19 days ago. This will reveal more. Ran with much more promise than the distance beaten in a good race at Salisbury on debut. |

4th (8) (12/1 +40%) Sir Palamedes |
12/1(+40%) | (8) Sir Palamedes 12/1, Bred for longer trips and was behind Bolo Neighs when fourth of 6 in maiden at Yarmouth (5.2f, good to soft, 10/1) on debut 20 days ago. Over 2l to find with Bolo Neighs on last month's Yarmouth debut; may need further. |

Half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 7f Rock On Baileys and 5.7f winner Devils Roc. 120,000gns yearling; half-brother to four winners; yard's 2yos here always worth a look. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (16/1 +0%) Ardennes |
16/1(+0%) | (3) Ardennes 16/1, Foaled March 2. 45,000 gns yearling, Soldier's Call colt. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 2-y-o 5f winner Good Vibes. 45,000gns yearling; unraced dam related to two useful performers; others more appealing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (125/1 -279%) Glendine |
125/1(-279%) | (5) Glendine 125/1, Foaled March 29. Bungle Inthejungle gelding. Dam, 5f winner, sister to useful 5f-7f winner Crimson Fern. Bred to be sharp but yard's 2yos just 1-25 (two placed) so far this season. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (100/1 -100%) Biddable |
100/1(-100%) | (9) Biddable 100/1, Still too green to show much on second start when eighth of 9 in maiden at Chester (6.1f, good) 15 days ago. Comfortably held in her two starts but shown clear promise and something better is brewing. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Binadham has to concede weight all round after making the best possible to start to his career at Yarmouth, while Bolo Neighs had Sir Palamedes a couple of positions behind him when runner-up at the same venue on debut. They come up against some interesting newcomers, though, with Redorange and Mukaber costing 120,000gns and 115,000gns respectively. However, AESTERIUS made more than twice that price at the breeze-ups recently so should be ready to go.
Connections went to £380,000 to acquire AESTERIUS, and representing a yard with an excellent record with juvenile newcomers, he's selected to make a winning start. Binadham was quite impressive at Yarmouth and will make a bold bid at defying a penalty, with Bolo Neighs a very likely improver.
Emporess might prove best of those to have run but there are some interesting newcomers on show. REDORANGE is preferred.

12/1(-9%) | (8) We're Reunited 12/1, C&D winner. Seventh of 8 in handicap (12/1) at this course (5f, heavy) 18 days ago so needs to get back on track. First past post in this race last year; drawn widest and wouldn't want too much rain. |

18/1(-50%) | (4) Atty's Edge 18/1, Course winner. 4/1, fair fifth of 7 in handicap at Brighton (5.3f, good). Off 7 months. Tricky customer but can give a good account. Four wins in 2021 but drawn a blank since; dangerous mark but risky back from 227 days off. |

7th (6) (3/1 +33%) Midnight Flame |
3/1(+33%) | (6) Midnight Flame 3/1, Remains a maiden after 16 Flat runs. 7/1, respectable third of 15 in handicap at this C&D (good) 9 days ago. Weighted to go well. 0-16 but has run well in both starts this year including C&D 9 days ago; each-way shout. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (12/1 +0%) More Than Likely |
12/1(+0%) | (5) More Than Likely 12/1, 3-time C&D winner. Respectable sixth of 15 in handicap (40/1) at this C&D (good) 9 days ago. Ought to be in the shake-up. Two C&D wins last summer; fair return to action nine days ago but faster ground preferable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

40/1(-21%) | (11) Independent Beauty 40/1, Remains a maiden after 34 Flat runs. 33/1, sixth of 8 in minor event at Newcastle (5f) 73 days ago. Not easy to make a case for. Exposed 34-race maiden; had wind op since last seen but easy enough to swerve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (7) (16/1 +0%) Cloudy Breeze |
16/1(+0%) | (7) Cloudy Breeze 16/1, Sixth of 9 in handicap at Chelmsford City (6f, 8/1). Off 7 months and needs to hit the ground running. One Windsor run last summer that gives her strong claims; absent 225 days; ground a query. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (9) (16/1 -14%) Kangaroo |
16/1(-14%) | (9) Kangaroo 16/1, 12/1, creditable fifth of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 25 days ago. Can give another good account. 15-race maiden who has something to prove on turf; others look safer. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Symbol of Hope is a familiar face at Bath, although his recent fourth here over 5f did little to alter the belief that this trip stretches him slightly. Media Guest had been racing over further until going close when dropped to this distance at Brighton. He has every chance off the same mark, but MIDNIGHT FLAME has made the frame on each of her last four appearances and surely a breakthrough triumph is imminent.
Lots with chances. MEDIA GUEST is a long time without a win but arrives on the back of a very good recent Brighton second so edges the vote off an unchanged mark. Midnight Flame is weighted to go close and next on the list ahead of course-scorers More Than Likely and Symbol of Hope.
Symbol Of Hope looks set to go well but this may be the day for MIDNIGHT FLAME to finally shed her maiden tag.

18/1(-29%) | (7) Louis Treize 18/1, Tricky customer. 14/1, not seen to best effect when fourth of 7 in handicap at Chepstow (5.1f, heavy) 10 days ago. Considered. 4lb lower than when last winning but recent efforts suggest he'll find a few too good. |

6th (10) (40/1 -21%) Boasted |
40/1(-21%) | (10) Boasted 40/1, Tenth of 14 in handicap (66/1) at Leicester (6f, heavy) 27 days ago. Others appeal more. Placed once in 12 starts and well beaten at big prices the last twice. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (16/1 -14%) Port Noir |
16/1(-14%) | (4) Port Noir 16/1, C&D winner. Latest win at Wolverhampton in April. 12/1, eleventh of 13 in handicap at Chepstow (7.1f, heavy) 10 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter. Has shown that she can be competitive from similar marks but conditions are a concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (3/1 -33%) Liosa |
3/1(-33%) | (1) Liosa 3/1, Off 7 months and shaped very well when fourth of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f, 9/4) 25 days ago, going strongly but denied a clear run. Big shout off an unchanged mark. 6f AW winner; eyecatching fourth on reappearance; has claims if handling slow turf. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (15/2 -67%) Vitalline |
15/2(-67%) | (3) Vitalline 15/2, Latest win at Chelmsford City in March. Respectable fifth of 12 in handicap (5/2) at Kempton (6f) 39 days ago, not clear run. Can give a good account. Competitive mark but needs to be better than on his last two AW starts to be involved. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
MALHAM TARN COVE posted a much-improved performance when finishing second over C&D recently. The five-year-old is effectively 2lb well-in on this quick turnaround and compensation could await. The biggest threat may emerge from Bama Lama, who returned to form with a close-up third at Windsor earlier this month, while Liosa caught the eye having endured a rough passage at Wolverhampton last month and he cannot be ruled out either.
LIOSA enjoyed no luck in running when fourth at Wolverhampton on his return so is fancied to quickly resume winning ways. Malham Tarn Cove is feared most on the back of his good C&D second while Bama Lama and Vitalline appeal as the pick of the rest for minor honours.
A weak contest and in the hope that he acts on the forecast slow surface, the improving LIOSA looks the one to be with.

2nd (5) (8/1 +20%) Connie's Rose |
8/1(+20%) | (5) Connie's Rose 8/1, Made the frame 3 times this term, latest when respectable second of 9 in handicap at Chepstow (6.1f, heavy, 3/1) 10 days ago. Likely to be in the mix again. Runner-up in 3 of her 4 runs this year; drawn wide but highly likely to give her running. |

3rd (6) (8/1 +33%) Jax Edge |
8/1(+33%) | (6) Jax Edge 8/1, C&D winner. Seventh of 9 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm, 10/1) 32 days ago. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals. Seems to like it here and she's on a fair mark; fine on good to soft but slower a query. |

25/1(+0%) | (7) Silent Flame 25/1, 18/1, eleventh of 13 in handicap at this C&D (soft) 26 days ago. Work to do. 8lb lower than for her last win but two runs this spring have been uninspiring. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (4/1 -14%) Starproof |
4/1(-14%) | (3) Starproof 4/1, Scored on 2 occasions (both 6f) last year and ended 2023 campaign with a couple of creditable efforts in defeat at Wolverhampton. Shaped well when fifth in big-field handicap at Ascot on return and must enter calculations. Two 6f wins last season; pleasing return at Ascot 13 days ago (after a wind op); contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (25/1 -194%) White Mist |
25/1(-194%) | (9) White Mist 25/1, 2 wins from 6 runs this year. Latest win at Kempton in February. 10/1, creditable second of 9 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 37 days ago. Warrants respect. Flourished for the fitting of a visor, winning 3 and second on last 3 starts; e-w shout. |

8th (2) (14/1 +0%) Redredrobin |
14/1(+0%) | (2) Redredrobin 14/1, C&D winner. Eighth of 11 in handicap at Kempton (7f, 100/1) 16 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter. Five wins last year, including this race (off 15lb lower; firm); sharper for recent return. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (7/1 -155%) Cinque Verde |
7/1(-155%) | (1) Cinque Verde 7/1, Made it 5 wins from 7 runs this year when taking 7-runner handicap at Lingfield (5f, good to firm, 7/2) 8 days ago. 5 lb penalty may not prevent further success. Flourishing this year and well in under a penalty for last week's win; promise on soft. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (14/1 -17%) Papabella |
14/1(-17%) | (10) Papabella 14/1, Still looking for first success but ended last campaign with good second of 12 in handicap at Kempton (6f) in November. Others look better treated, though. Ran well on AW (6f) when last seen in November but she's returning in a warm race. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
CINQUE VERDE capitalised on a lower turf mark when completing a double at Lingfield last week. Tony Carroll's filly looks more than capable of defying a 5lb penalty for that victory and a hat-trick could be on the horizon. Starproof warrants respect after her fifth-placed effort in a 26-runner affair at Ascot earlier this month. The daughter of Camacho is feared most, ahead of fellow in-form rival Connie's Rose.
CINQUE VERDE exploited a lower mark on turf when scoring at Lingfield last week and still looks feasibly treated under a 5 lb penalty. She can go in again. Starproof and Connie's Rose should also go well.
Cinque Verde is the one to beat but STARPROOF's reappearance was most encouraging and she could have more to offer this year.

3rd (4) (5/1 +29%) Catch The Light |
5/1(+29%) | (4) Catch The Light 5/1, Once-raced filly. Third of 5 in minor event (15/8) at Ascot (8f, good to firm) on debut. Off 8 months. Up in trip. Should progress. Slow conditions may be a concern; may be capable of improvement if taking her chance.. |

5th (3) (9/4 +36%) Bittalemon |
9/4(+36%) | (3) Bittalemon 9/4, Bred to be useful and showed ability when sixth of 14 in maiden at Newbury (10f, good to soft, 15/2) on debut 35 days ago, unable to sustain effort. 28/1(-180%) | (2) All Too Well 28/1, Once-raced filly. Fifth of 7 in minor event (4/1) at Kempton (12f) on debut 16 days ago, slowly away. Should have more to offer. 4-1 when beaten over 16l on debut; drops in trip; should have learned plenty.. |

28/1(-75%) | (1) Poppydora 28/1, Intello filly. Half-sister to 6f winner Rattling. Dam useful French 9f-11f winner (stayed 1½m). Market check advised on debut. Half-sister to 6f AW winner Rattling; dam French 1m1f-1m3f winner; check market.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Bittalemon should have learned plenty from her opening bid when finishing sixth at Newbury last month and William Haggas' filly must enter calculations. However, LOVE YOU DARLING, a half-sister to 1m2f Group 3 winner American Sonja, makes slightly more appeal. The daughter of Land Force finished a close-up second over a mile on her reappearance at Goodwood earlier this month and this step up in distance could unlock more improvement. The downgraded Divine Presence is also noted.
BITTALEMON made an encouraging start to her career at Newbury last month and should have learnt plenty from that experience. She can get off the mark. Love You Darling and Divine Presence look the likeliest dangers.
She's taking a little time to get the hang of things but with her sights slightly lowered, bDIVINE PRESENCE\p is taken to come good.

12th (1) (14/1 -250%) Flame Of Kodiac |
14/1(-250%) | (1) Flame Of Kodiac 14/1, After 6 months off, capitalised on her falling mark when winning 8-runner handicap at Chepstow (8.1f, heavy, 66/1) 10 days ago, keeping on well. Carries penalty but 7-lb claimer now on board. Enters calculations. Sprung a 66-1 surprise when back from six-month absence at Chepstow (1m, soft) last week.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (6) (40/1 -60%) Daffin |
40/1(-60%) | (6) Daffin 40/1, Soon left behind a lesser effort when fourth of 7 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f, 14/1) 25 days ago. Needs to find more as she goes up in trip for her turf debut. Lightly raced; tackles new trip (could stay on pedigree) on first attempt on turf; monitor. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Despite going off at 66/1, there looked to be no fluke about FLAME OF KODIAC's comfortable victory over a mile at Chepstow earlier this month, and she gets the vote to successfully defy a 5lb penalty stepping up in trip in what looks a winnable affair. City Escape arrives on the back of a solid fourth over C&D most recently and she cannot be discounted off the same mark, while fellow last-time-out winner Carey Street is also of interest, though a 4lb higher mark asks a question of him.
CAREY STREET returned to winning ways when making all at Wolverhampton in January and, from what remains a workable mark, he can pick up where he left off to make a successful stable debut. Flame of Kodiac also remains well treated on old form and isn't taken lightly, with Galactic Glow completing the shortlist as he bids for a fourth C&D victory.
Flame Of Kodiac surprised most by winning at Chepstow. However, the suggestion is CAREY STREET on first start for Tony Carroll.

50/1(+0%) | (12) Dynamite Katie 50/1, Last of 13 in handicap at this course (5.7f, soft, 100/1) 26 days ago. Significantly up in trip. 7f AW winner; last of 13 here (5.5f, soft) on her reappearance and now steps up in trip.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (5) (25/1 +0%) Jade Country |
25/1(+0%) | (5) Jade Country 25/1, Well-beaten ninth of 13 to Havana Goldrush in handicap (33/1) at this C&D (good to soft) 35 days ago. May strip fitter with that return under his belt. 1m winner (good); has plenty to prove based on his last three starts.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (8) (11/4 +50%) Havana Goldrush |
11/4(+50%) | (8) Havana Goldrush 11/4, C&D winner. Latest win here in April. Creditable third of 9 in handicap (11/4) at this C&D (soft) 26 days ago. Looks competitive on form from the same mark. Commendable effort when trying to make all here latest; should be in the mix.. |

80/1(-100%) | (10) Long Call 80/1, 33/1, last of 8 in handicap at Chepstow (8.1f, heavy) 10 days ago. Needs to step up on recent efforts and this trip looks plenty sharp enough.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
RACING DEMON lost all winning chance in the starting stalls on his penultimate start before bolting up over C&D last week and, judging by the ease of that win, it would be no surprise to see him bring up the double under a 5lb penalty. Lunario fared best of those ridden patiently when finishing an excellent second over an extended mile at Nottingham most recently, and he could be the chief beneficiary if the selection fluffs his lines. Rival was last seen finishing third over C&D and he has solid claims of hitting the frame once again.
EYE OF THE WATER was disappointing at Chepstow 10 days ago but his record at Bath is an excellent one so, returned to this venue, he makes as much appeal as any of these. Lunario arrives at the top of his game so he has to go on the shortlist, while the quirky Racing Demon is dangerous if he's in the same mood as last time.
Recent winner RACING DEMON (nap) had plenty in hand at Chepstow and is taken to defy his penalty.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
