ONE BIG BOUM has the rating to win this if doing things right. His best effort came when fourth in a Killarney novice over 2m4f, after which he jumped poorly and didn't stay over 3m at Cork and then was too keen at Kilbeggan when last seen. If he settles and jumps better, he should take a bit of beating. Granpa Ger has a bit to find on ratings but has run well in handicaps on his last two starts and he will be suited by stepping back up in trip. Mount Anglesby was a well-backed favourite when second to a longshot on stable debut at Tramore. He should also appreciate the extra quarter-mile here.
MOUNT ANGLESBY failed to justify favouritism at Tramore 10 days ago but it was by no means a bad start for this new yard and compensation may well await. Tell Me This and Eoin's Charm are a couple of potential dangers.
If he does things right, namely settling and jumping better, ONE BIG BOUM has enough ability to win a maiden of this standard

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
MORDOR has had a fine summer with two hurdle wins and a victory on the level. His only defeat in his last four starts came at Galway where he was a creditable second in a novice contest on the opening evening of the festival and Gordon Elliott's charge can confirm placings with third home Pigeon House. The latter, winner of a big-field handicap at the Punchestown festival and a creditable sixth in a competitive handicap later in the week at Ballybrit, is a little better off at the weights with the selection but it doesn't look enough to turn around the form. Burvea got off the mark in maiden company at Wexford and gets plenty of weight from the aforementioned pair.
A quintet to view positively with the case the MORDOR the most compelling on the back of a career-best win at Downpatrick. Pigeon House and Burvea can offer most resistance.
In tremendous form lately, MORDOR has the beating of Pigeon House on their meeting in a Galway novice and can confirm that form

Philip Rothwell and John Ryan both do well here and have leading contenders in this maiden with preference for the former's WORKINONADREAM. Runner-up in three bumpers last year for her previous yard, the selection has shown plenty of promise in her first two hurdle outings and stepping up in trip, plus the addition of headgear, should aid her cause. Ryan is represented by Kate Knows Best who herself ran well in bumpers, including here, and has found only one too good in both hurdle starts. On hurdling debut, she had Lucky Viv four lengths away over this trip at Killarney. That was a return to form for the latter who was runner-up in a couple of maidens last summer.
WORKINONADREAM will need to jump a bit more fluently but cheekpieces may help her concentrate better and she gets the vote ahead of Gina Moon, who looks sure to improve for this sort of test, and Lucky Viv.
Philip Rothwell does well here and WORKINONADREAM, who is fitted with headgear, has shaped with promise in both outings over hurdles

KILN TIME had a good spell of form in staying handicaps last winter with three seconds and a win. He stays further and can take this on his first start since rejoining his original trainer. A six-month layoff is a concern but he ran well after a similar absence when placed on handicap debut in November. A hurdles winner in France, Le Grand Vert then spent time in Britain before making a successful Irish debut in a chase at Roscommon. He makes a quick reappearance after finishing fourth over fences at Kilbeggan on Friday. Johnny Cakes ran his best race so far when making the frame over C&D in May while market support would be significant for Spellacy's Cross.
KILN TIME is potentially on a good mark back with his former yard so gets the nod over Le Grand Vert and Great Rainbow.
A solid performer in similar contests during the winter, KILN TIME is chosen on his first start since returning to the Bowe yard

This looks a good opportunity for DANCING ON MY OWN. By far the highest rated of those with a mark, the Henry de Bromhead-trained 10-year-old was last seen finishing second in a much stronger contest at Killarney in July. With a course and distance win to her name, Je T'ai Porte appears the danger. Already twice successful over fences this season, she is turned out again quickly after finishing down the field at Killarney on Thursday. Mount Frisco was also in action at the Co Kerry venue on Thursday, finishing second to Dutch Schultz. A runner-up four times since winning at Tramore on New Year's Day, another good effort can be expected from the John Ryan-trained five-year-old. Thunder is another Ryan representative in the line-up and she is likely to struggle, while Decimation completes the field.
An excellent opportunity for the smart DANCING ON MY OWN to resume winning ways. Je t'ai Porte is a clear next best.
Though he is arguably more effective at a left-handed track and on better ground, DANCING ON MY OWN should still win

LINDEN ARDEN is the given the chance to redeem himself after disappointing at Sligo. A fine third in a good quality contest here on his penultimate outing, the well-bred six-year-old starts off over fences now. Ring O Roses has a course win to her name and came in for good market support when fourth on her debut over fences at Wexford last month. Entitled to improve for that experience, it'll be interesting to see how she fares, stepping up in trip. There was just half-a-length between An Peann Dearg and Quest With Speed when they clashed at Wexford recently and they both look to have solid claims, while Bua Boy, Joyeux Vivo and Ossifer Hops are others for the shortlist.
AN PEANN DEARG might well have won a handicap at Wexford last time but for a significant mistake when the race was taking shape and he might not need to improve to open his account. Joyeux Vivo is open to improvement following an encouraging chasing debut, so he may emerge as the main danger, while Bua Boy should be on the premises.
A hopeful choice is chase debutant LINDEN ARDEN who ran well over hurdles here in May and is bred to do well at this game

SEO LINN finished second and was unfortunate to come up against a smart Willie Mullins-trained gelding on debut. She finished ahead of two subsequent winners on that occasion and in against her own sex now, she looks the one to beat. One of two Henry de Bromhead-trained representatives in the line-up, Time In A Bottle is the danger. A half-sister to Embassy Gardens, she improved from her initial effort to finish second at Killarney last month and it'll come as no surprise if she manages to go a place better now. A New Deck is the most interesting of the four debutants in the line-up. Bought for €28,000 at the Goffs Arkle Sale, she is a half-sister to the Gordon Elliott-trained dual bumper winner Wingmen.
SEO LINN made a highly promising start when runner-up at this course three months ago and, with improvement on the cards, she's marginally preferred to Time In A Bottle, who is closely matched with her on form. Tangara Bay is an interesting newcomer for a top stable.
Having been well fancied when runner-up in a C&D bumper on debut in May, SEO LINN (nap) can go one better today.
Ths is the racecard key.
