1st (4) (9/4 +44%) Whistle Stop Tour |
9/4(+44%) | (4) Whistle Stop Tour 9/4, Winning Irish pointer who made a successful start over hurdles in a Hexham novice in October. Hasn't gone on in the way one would've hoped since but he should nevertheless have a part to play here. Winning pointer; 2m winner on hurdles debut; good run at 2m4f next time; below-par since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (13/2 -44%) Al Kalila |
13/2(-44%) | (5) Al Kalila 13/2, Made the frame both starts in bumpers and bettered his hurdles debut form when fifth in a 12-runner Down Royal maiden upped to 2½m on Boxing Day. Probably capable of better but it may be that he will be seen in a better light when switched to handicaps. In the frame in two bumpers but needs to improve on his two runs over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (11/4 +8%) Coniston George |
11/4(+8%) | (1) Coniston George 11/4, Bumper winner here last March and has won 2 of his 3 starts since switched to hurdles. Shaped as though he'd stay further when keeping on well over 17f at Carlisle (soft) last time and further improvement could be on the way now faced with a stiffer test. Two wins over hurdles, last time over 2m1f at Carlisle; longer trip should suit; a player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (7/2 +56%) Got Your Back |
7/2(+56%) | (2) Got Your Back 7/2, Runner-up sole start in Irish points and off the mark at the third attempt under Rules in a Musselburgh maiden. Failed to fire upped to 3m there next time and looks vulnerable on the back of that display, for all that this drop back in trip will presumably help. Below-par over 3m last time but easy 2m4f Musselburgh winner previously; worth considering. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (250/1 -213%) Teddy Mac |
250/1(-213%) | (7) Teddy Mac 250/1, Failed to beat a rival in 2 bumpers and hasn't pulled up any trees in a couple of starts over hurdles either. Modest form at big prices in bumpers and over hurdles; improvement needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (3) (5/1 +0%) Ozzy Cosmo |
5/1(+0%) | (3) Ozzy Cosmo 5/1, Fourth sole start in Irish points and promising start under Rules when landing a 12-runner novice here (2m, soft) in December. That form looks decent (the second has won twice since) and this 5-y-o should have more to offer now upped in trip. Fourth in an Irish point; won on hurdles debut here (2m) and should fare better up in trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
CONISTON GEORGE is 2-3 over hurdles after securing victory by two and a quarter lengths over 2m1f at Carlisle last month, and he could improve further for this step up in trip. Therefore, he looks the way to go, and his main threat might be Whistle Stop Tour. The six-year-old has put in some respectable efforts this season and is taken to get involved, while Sea God is also worth considering on his debut over timber.
Preference is for CONISTON GEORGE, who was strong at the finish when scoring at Carlisle last month and moving up in trip here may well be the catalyst for further progress. Sea God is something of an unknown quantity and is feared most ahead of the promising Ozzy Cosmo and Whistle Stop Tour.
An interesting novice hurdle can go to OZZY COSMO who won over 2m on his hurdles debut here and should improve over this longer trip.

1st (8) (10/1 +17%) Donso Star |
10/1(+17%) | (8) Donso Star 10/1, Maiden hurdler who made her first impact in a handicap when second of 11 at Musselburgh (2½m, soft) 3 weeks ago. Needs to show she can back that up now. 0-7; sound run when second in 2m4f novice handicap under today's rider last time; chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (10/11 +74%) Lady In The Park |
10/11(+74%) | (3) Lady In The Park 10/11, Irish point winner who has made a positive start over hurdles, winning a 2½m Wetherby novice on Boxing Day and progressing again when narrowly denied on 3m course handicap debut since. Should go well. Unexposed; 2m3f mares' novice winner who dead-heated for second in 3m h'cap latest; chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (8/1 +0%) Czech Her Out |
8/1(+0%) | (1) Czech Her Out 8/1, Better than ever when making a winning start for the Lucinda Russell stable at Perth (3m) in August and good second when narrowly denied at Kelso next time. Freshened up since a lesser run at Aintree in October. Has gone well fresh before. Sound runs over 3m/3m2f for this yard in the autumn; below-par latest; back from a break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (4/1 +50%) Not Staying Long |
4/1(+50%) | (5) Not Staying Long 4/1, Left her first 3 efforts for this yard behind when making all in 3m Ayr handicap 12 days ago. Her and the second pulled clear of the rest so a 5 lb rise looks fair enough. Won 3m handicap on heavy here last time and not without a chance despite a 5lb rise.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (18/1 -29%) Headscarf Lil |
18/1(-29%) | (7) Headscarf Lil 18/1, Returned to form on the back of a breathing op when successful at Market Rasen (20.5f) in May and ran at least as well when narrowly denied at Perth (3m) in September. Didn't run much of a race at Doncaster 3 months later, though. Off another 12 weeks. Second on soft in September but best on good ground so perhaps best watched this time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (12/1 -118%) Poppy Rose |
12/1(-118%) | (6) Poppy Rose 12/1, Creditable second of 17 in handicap hurdle at Naas (2m, soft, 2/1) in December but ran poorly back there in January. Runner-up here last winter. 0-12 over hurdles; second off 8lb lower here in Feb 2023; not at her best last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (2) (20/1 -100%) Moonlight Glory |
20/1(-100%) | (2) Moonlight Glory 20/1, Three wins in a productive season but she was below-par in a remote fourth at Catterick last time. Back up in trip. Not at her best on heavy ground last time but two good runs previously and a possible. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
LADY IN THE PARK dead-heated for second when only being touched off by three quarters of a length over an extended 3m here last time. Lucinda Russell's six-year-old is only 2lb higher on just her second handicap start and she is taken to go one better. Not Staying Long, who made every yard of the running in a class 5 event here last month, has to be considered off a 5lb higher rating, while Moonlight Glory is another to note.
Although BLUE BALOO has yet to build on her Newcastle hurdle debut success, that could change now handicapping from an opening mark which looks manageable. Lucinda Russell pair Lady In The Park and Czech Her Out can give her most to do.
The unexposed LADY IN THE PARK, a good second here last time, is taken to beat Moonlight Glory and Donso Star.

1st (2) (7/4 +30%) Salamanca Bay |
7/4(+30%) | (2) Salamanca Bay 7/4, Thurles maiden hurdle winner for Jonathan Fogarty in March 2022. Too headstrong for his own good in 3 starts over fences for new connections since returning from a 21-month absence but the handicapper is showing mercy and perhaps the addition of a hood will give him a lift. Strong puller; now tried in a hood for the first time to try and make him settle better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (16/5 -16%) Dreams Of Home |
16/5(-16%) | (1) Dreams Of Home 16/5, Made a winning return at Kelso last season and took a step back in the right direction when third at this C&D on his first start of the current campaign. Well below par in 3 subsequent starts but he has dipped to an attractive mark and will be a threat if responding well to the new headgear. Good third at Musselburgh in December but below-par since; well treated; blinkers tried. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (15/8 +37%) Cornerstone Lad |
15/8(+37%) | (3) Cornerstone Lad 15/8, Would be thrown in off this mark if back to anything like his best but he's just 1-18 over fences. Conversely, his latest second to an in-form rival at Newcastle (16.3f, soft) was a decent effort and sports a first-time visor here in place of the usual cheekpieces. Not as a good a chaser as hurdler but fair second last time; could go well in new headgear. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (6/1 +8%) Let's Go Joe |
6/1(+8%) | (4) Let's Go Joe 6/1, Runner-up in a point before making a winning hurdles bow for new yard in maiden at Sedgefield in November. Rather disappointing both starts since, though, and needs to raise his game now switched to fences. Second in an Irish point; won on hurdles debut; down in trip for chase debut; chance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
SALAMANCA BAY is having only his fourth start over fences and he drops to this grade for the first time in this sphere after being beaten six and a half lengths into third in a class 3 event at Kelso last month. The son of Saint Des Saints was dropped 2lb for that effort and he sports a first-time hood, which can eke out the improvement needed. Cornerstone Lad drops to a career-low mark after finishing second at Newcastle last time and he has to be respected, while Dreams Of Home completes the shortlist.
Headgear could be the key to this race, with DREAMS OF HOME, Salamanca Bay and Cornerstone Lad all sporting first-time aids. The first-named is now 18 lb below his last winning mark and he shades preference in the hope that the blinkers will have the desired effect.
In an unappealing race it could pay to take a chance on former pointer LETS GO JOE winning on his debut over regulation fences.

1st (8) (11/4 +61%) Dance Thief |
11/4(+61%) | (8) Dance Thief 11/4, Point winner who has improved for switch to handicaps in this sphere, finishing placed over longer trips than this on 3 of his last 4 starts (including here). Winning pointer; placed in three of his last four starts over hurdles; drop to 2m a worry. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (14/1 -56%) Can't Stop Now |
14/1(-56%) | (7) Can't Stop Now 14/1, This front-runner won a 2m Musselburgh handicap hurdle last March and added to his tally on the Flat at Carlisle in August. Faded into sixth back hurdling at Musselburgh last month but he has dipped back to that winning mark. On his last winning mark; not quite at his best this year but has an each-way chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (11/1 -22%) Atlantic Dancer |
11/1(-22%) | (5) Atlantic Dancer 11/1, Two wins last spring and better than ever when going in again at Kelso just before Christmas. Not in the same when fading into a well-held third of 4 over 2m at Newcastle since, though. C&D winner in 2022; put up 8lb for Kelso win in December and others look better treated. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (5/1 +0%) Bois Guillbert |
5/1(+0%) | (2) Bois Guillbert 5/1, C&D winner last season and added to tally in 2m Kelso handicap on reappearance in October. Has gone off the boil in recent starts but latest last of 4 back at Kelso came in what has turned out a strong race and this 5-y-o still has time on his side. Kelso winner in October but not at his best since then; plenty to prove at present. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (2/1 +0%) Park Annonciade |
2/1(+0%) | (3) Park Annonciade 2/1, Looked progressive when winning handicaps over C&D and Haydock (19f) in November. Has seemed to find 2m around Musselburgh a bit sharp for him the last twice but there's probably another bigger performance in him before long. Won three times this season, including over C&D; fair run in better race last time; chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (22/1 +12%) Bix Beiderbecke |
22/1(+12%) | (6) Bix Beiderbecke 22/1, Opened his account at the second time of asking over hurdles in a 2m Perth novice last May but his subsequent handicap efforts have been disappointing. Still fairly early days but he arrives with something to prove. Maiden hurdle winner in May who has struggled a bit since; on a fair mark; could go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (5/1 +0%) Ruby Island |
5/1(+0%) | (4) Ruby Island 5/1, Fairly useful in bumpers and won first 2 starts over hurdles last season, including a C&D maiden. Off since a mid-field finish in the EBF Final at Newbury a year ago but retains potential if ready to roll. Mainly progressive over hurdles last term and worth considering despite her long break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (50/1 -456%) Kerosine Light |
50/1(-456%) | (1) Kerosine Light 50/1, Three wins for this yard in summer 2022 but off for 9 months prior to finishing a remote fifth at Uttoxeter last May and he's had another similar absence since. Betting perhaps the best guide to expectations. Won three h'caps in 2022, but well beaten only run in 2023; could go well after a break. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
This represents a drop in grade for PARK ANNONCIADE, who performed with credit in a valuable contest at Musselburgh last month. The six-year-old won a couple of times in November and gets the vote ahead of the capable Bois Guillbert and Ruby Island, who was a progressive novice last season and makes her return after almost a year off the track. Atlantic Dancer and Kerosine Light are not to be ruled out either.
PARK ANNONCIADE is given a chance to resume his progression back at the scene of the first of his 2 handicap wins in November. Ruby Island could be a threat if primed after a year off, while the front-running Can't Stop Now is starting to look well handicapped again.
Despite her lack of a recent run the progressive RUBY ISLAND\ is taken to beat the Irish raider \bPark Annonciade.

1st (2) (11/4 +8%) Dubai Days |
11/4(+8%) | (2) Dubai Days 11/4, C&D winner who comes here in good order, second of 4 in handicap chase at Kelso (17.1f, soft) 22 days ago when unsuited by drop in trip. Must enter calculations. Second at Kelso three weeks ago behind one who has since completed a hat-trick. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (9/2 -80%) Whodini |
9/2(-80%) | (3) Whodini 9/2, Made it 4 wins from 6 completed starts over fences when going in over C&D in November. Has won off a break before so he's not taken lightly. Only 2lb higher than when prevailing narrowly in a blanket finish here in early November. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (9/1 -38%) Red Happy |
9/1(-38%) | (4) Red Happy 9/1, Hit the ground running for his new yard and successful at Carlisle and Kelso early this winter. Very slowly away when only fifth of 7 in handicap chase at Carlisle last time though so needs to bounce back. Perhaps high in the weights after his hat-trick and this ground is softer than ideal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (11/10 +27%) Ballycoose |
11/10(+27%) | (1) Ballycoose 11/10, Made a successful chase debut over C&D in January and backed it up with a solid second of 5 in handicap chase over 2m here 12 days ago. Player with this return to further also a plus. Good jumper who should make a bold bid returned to his best trip, despite career-high mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (18/1 -13%) Dallas Des Pictons |
18/1(-13%) | (5) Dallas Des Pictons 18/1, Useful hurdler/chaser at his best. Not so good nowadays but landed handicap hurdle at Hexham (20.1f) in September. Not disgraced when sixth at Kelso (22.7f, soft) 22 days ago so possibilities back chasing. Shock winner over hurdles at Hexham in September but well held since. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
A determined winner over C&D when last seen in November, WHODINI may not be ideally suited by soft ground, but he arrives at his favourite track following a couple of taking victories and the hat-trick looks very much on the cards. Ballycoose will appreciate going back up in distance, having scored over C&D in January, while Dubai Days is another to consider off a mark 1lb lower than his last victory.
Irish-raider BALLYCOOSE has made a bright start over fences and is faniced to quickly resume winning ways on the back of his good second here with this return to further also a positive. Fellow C&D scorer Dubai Days seems sure to have a say too, with both Whodini and Red Happy both well in the mix too.
Returned to his best trip BALLYCOOSE (nap) might well be up to defying a career-high mark, off which he ran well last time over 2m.

Gypsey's Secret |
(11) (7/1 -17%)7/1(-17%) | (11) Gypsey's Secret 7/1, Still a maiden but she comes here in excellent heart, runner-up over C&D 12 days ago when conceding first run to the winner. Another bold showing is on the cards. Confirmed January's novice hurdle third no fluke when second in C&D handicap since; player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (14) (12/1 +52%) Better Be Definite |
12/1(+52%) | (14) Better Be Definite 12/1, Only ninth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Sedgefield (19.8f, heavy) 57 days ago. Up in trip with more required if he's to get off the mark. Weakened quickly on 2m4f handicap debut latest and remains to be seen if 3m suits. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (4/1 +33%) Artic Mann |
4/1(+33%) | (3) Artic Mann 4/1, Returned from a long absence with a creditable second at Kelso (20.9f) in October and has run creditably all 3 outings since. Likely to remain competitive. In frame all starts since returning from long absence, latest over C&D; thereabouts again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (15) (50/1 +50%) Iturgeon Du Breuil |
50/1(+50%) | (15) Iturgeon Du Breuil 50/1, Placed in Irish point in May but has offered little encouragement in a trio of Carlisle novice hurdles this winter. Lots more is needed now handicapping with cheekpieces added. No show in novice hurdles but more chance now handicapping at low level in headgear. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (10) (28/1 -12%) Ebendi |
28/1(-12%) | (10) Ebendi 28/1, Fairly useful Flat performer for Joseph O'Brien. Nowhere near that level over hurdles and offered little after 7 months off when eighth at Sedgefield last time. Hard to warm to. Third at Perth last summer but well held at Sedgefield last month on first outing since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (10/1 +44%) Lahardaun |
10/1(+44%) | (8) Lahardaun 10/1, Placed on both of his completed starts in Irish points but only modest form at best in his three runs over hurdles. Needs this switch to handicaps to spark improvement. No threat in three qualifying runs but more chance in handicaps; one to note in betting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (12) (12/1 +25%) Bollin Matilda |
12/1(+25%) | (12) Bollin Matilda 12/1, Poor maiden hurdler who turned in a below-par fifth in 25f Catterick handicap in January. More is needed after a break. Better when third at Carlisle (2m3f) in December but well held up in trip since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (11/1 -83%) Sanosuke |
11/1(-83%) | (2) Sanosuke 11/1, Fair on the Flat in Ireland and he got off the mark in this sphere when seeing off 10 rivals over 23.8f here in November. Good third of 9 over C&D after a 6 lb rise last time so he's one for the shortlist. In good form with win and third over 3m at Musselburgh before Christmas; headgear off. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (16) (16/1 +0%) Howzat Hiris |
16/1(+0%) | (16) Howzat Hiris 16/1, Opened her account in 3m Newcastle handicap last March but well below par on her last two runs at Catterick and Sedgefield this year. Others more persuasive. Back-to-form second at Market Rasen in December but well held twice since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (13) (11/1 +56%) Dequall |
11/1(+56%) | (13) Dequall 11/1, Seventeen runs since his last win in 2021 and only eighth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Doncaster (24.4f, soft) 59 days ago. Others appeal more. Third on comeback run in October but well held three times since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (9) (200/1 -300%) Hell On Earth |
200/1(-300%) | (9) Hell On Earth 200/1, Remains a maiden after 25 runs. 40/1, pulled up in handicap chase at Hexham (15.6f, heavy) 122 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Tongue strap on for 1st time. Well treated on old Irish form but pulled up all three runs for new yard; tongue-tie added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (11/2 +54%) Aazza |
11/2(+54%) | (5) Aazza 11/2, Successful at Doncaster last January and largely in good form since, fourth of 12 in handicap hurdle there 41 days ago, In the picture once more off a 2 lb lower mark. Well treated on peak form and latest Doncaster fourth was a bit more encouraging. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (7) (28/1 +44%) Toombridge |
28/1(+44%) | (7) Toombridge 28/1, Runner-up in an Irish point but was probably flattered by his proximity to the principals in a falsely-run race at Newcastle last April and has offered little all three starts this season. Improved fourth in novice last spring but has struggled in three runs this season. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (4) (18/1 +28%) Grosvenor Court |
18/1(+28%) | (4) Grosvenor Court 18/1, Lost his way when with Alan King and no signs of an upturn in his fortunes in his 2 outings for this yard. Tongue tied first time. Decent for Alan King but no show in hurdle/chase for new yard after absence; tongue-tie on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (1) (18/1 -50%) Rowdy Rustler |
18/1(-50%) | (1) Rowdy Rustler 18/1, Maiden hurdle winner here in February 2022 and good second on chase debut back here on return last season. However, he's been below par since. Not that convincing but better last time and in a 0-110 for first time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) (4/1 +43%) Clovis Boy |
4/1(+43%) | (6) Clovis Boy 4/1, Got off the mark at Hexham in November and posted a good fourth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Wetherby (24.1f, heavy) 44 days ago. Can give another good account. 2m4f win in December and proved he stays 3m when fourth at Wetherby latest; considered. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
A chance can be taken on LAHARDAUN, who showed signs of promise across his three qualifying runs. An opening mark of 88 looks more than fair and, with the step up in trip likely to suit, it would come as no surprise if he improved markedly on his handicap debut. Clovis Boy has improved since turning his attentions to handicaps and is likely to prove popular, along with Sanosuke, who finished third at Musselburgh last time having scored there the start before.
Not nearly so competitive as the numbers suggest and GYPSEY'S SECRET looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to go one better than over C&D recently and gain her breakthrough success. Aazza is proving a reliable sort and can have a say too off an easing mark, with Arctic Mann, Clovis Boy and Bowler Jack all not discounted either.
The suggestion in an open affair is Lucinda Russell's CLOVIS BOY, who is less exposed than most of these, particularly at this trip.

1st (3) (4/1 +33%) Kingston James |
4/1(+33%) | (3) Kingston James 4/1, £30,000 4-y-o, Kingston Hill gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Theo and fair hurdler Captain Lob, stays 2½m. Won completed start in points (Nov 2023), so strikes as a notable Rules newcomer. Bought for £30,000 after winning a 2m4f British point and should have a future. |

2nd (7) (9/2 -80%) Step Out |
9/2(-80%) | (7) Step Out 9/2, Bettered debut form when fourth of 5 in a bumper at Fairyhouse last time and tongue tie applied now, so could do better still. Fourth at Fairyhouse in a race won by Champion Bumper contender Romeo Coolio. |

3rd (5) (10/1 +38%) Saracen Beau |
10/1(+38%) | (5) Saracen Beau 10/1, €19,000 3-y-o, Mount Nelson gelding. Half-brother to unreliable but fairly useful hurdler/chaser Dreamsoftheatre and fair hurdler/chaser Definitly Grey. One to consider on debut for stable with solid bumper record. Half-brother to prolific 2m6f-3m2f hurdle/chase winner Dreamsoftheatre. |

33/1(-106%) | (6) Saratoga Steve 33/1, Related to three winners but didn't cost much and only beat one of the seven home at Musselburgh first time out. Was too free to do himself justice when beating one home at Musselburgh (soft). |

6th (9) (6/5 +26%) Yakaleo |
6/5(+26%) | (9) Yakaleo 6/5, Out of a winning hurdler/chaser and offered plenty of encouragement when third at Musselburgh a couple of months ago. Stable has a good record in this sphere and he sets the standard, so makes plenty of appeal. Strong in the betting at 9-4 when close up on good to soft at Musselburgh. |

7th (8) (16/1 -33%) Theatre Chief |
16/1(-33%) | (8) Theatre Chief 16/1, Dartmouth gelding. Dam (h107), placed in French hurdles, half-sister to smart hurdler/top-class chaser (stayed 3¼m) Sizing John. From a good family, so worthy of interest if the market speaks in his favour. Dam placed French 2m/2m1f hurdles; related to winners and one to note in the betting. |

8th (4) (200/1 -300%) Posh Et Noir |
200/1(-300%) | (4) Posh Et Noir 200/1, Failed to beat a rival over C&D 80 days ago and is likely to struggle again. Led early but was tailed off when 40-1 for debut on soft ground here in December. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
The vote goes to YAKALEO, who shaped with significant promise when finishing third on his racecourse debut at Musselburgh in December. Nicky Richards' charge might not want ground conditions to deteriorate too much, though, having been withdrawn on account of soft ground at Kelso last month, but he ought to hold every chance if lining up. Irish raider Step Out has shown ability and is respected with a first-time tongue-tie applied, while point-to-point winner Kingston James is another to consider.
YAKALEO sets the standard on his third at Musselburgh first time out and he's likely to have benefited from that initial experience, so he gets the nod ahead of point-winner Kingston James. Saracen Beau, a stablemate of the winner, also makes some appeal on paper.
There's a lot to like about Fairyhouse fourth STEP OUT who represents a yard with an excellent record in bumpers at this track.
Ths is the racecard key.
