LTO Selection:

17:15 Aintree Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

COPPER BEACH found the step up in trip to 2m4f to his liking when romping home by 13 lengths at Uttoxeter last Thursday, and a 7lb penalty may not be enough to prevent him from completing a double. Charlie My Boy also gained a breakthrough success last time at Newton Abbot and the gelding is dangerous to discount off only 4lb higher. Clapton Hill offered something to work with after finishing fourth at Ffos Las and is another to bear in mind.

COPPER BEACH opened his account in taking style at Uttoxeter last week and is taken to follow up under a penalty. Charlie My Boy got off the mark himself last time at Newton Abbot and can go well again. Fandabidozi is also considered.

This doesn't look the strongest of races and recent Uttoxeter winner COPPER BEACH (nap) is taken to follow up with his penalty.

LTO Selection:

17:50 Aintree Conditions Hurdle (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A fair amount of guesswork is required with these hurdling debutants, with a tentative vote going to TWO PAST EIGHT. The Alan King-trained charge showed a bit more fight on the Flat earlier in the month and may enjoy this change of discipline. Strike Alliance represents last year's winning trainer and is another to note if resuming in the same heart that saw him winning on the all-weather in March, while Lord Sam's Castle also enters calculations.

An early-season juvenile with stamina probably not at a premium, so it may pay to side with LORD SAM'S CASTLE, who was the pick of these on the level. Alan King has very few peers in these races so Two Past Eight demands respect, along with Strike Alliance.

A few of these former Flat-racers have dubious stamina credentials but one exception is LOGISTICAL, who is tentatively given the vote.

Has won two of last three; up 3lb and up in class but could cope.
LTO Selection:

18:25 Aintree Handicap Chase (Class 3) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

LANDEN CALLING appeared more at home when making a successful chasing debut at Bangor last month and the seven-year-old could make light work of a 5lb rise. Fellow last-time-out winner Shearer made all at Ludlow and likely has more to offer in this sphere too. He may, however, have a tougher time dictating in this contest with recent Worcester victor Kakamora another who likes to lead.

Competitive despite the small field with the vote in favour of LANDEN CALLING. He jumped/travelled with plenty of purpose when opening his chase account at the first attempt at Bangor 4 weeks ago and a 5 lb rise for that success shouldn't prevent another bold bid. Shearer, a fellow chase debutant scorer at Ludlow, rates a big threat, with Kakamora, who comes here on the back of 2 wins from his last 3 starts, is also respected.

Although taking a sharp rise in class, KAKAMORA is given the nod.

LTO Selection:

19:00 Aintree Handicap Chase (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

POST NO BILLS has been progressive of late and defied a 9lb rise when making all over 2m5f at Cartmel last month. Now rated 3lb higher for that success, he can prove difficult to peg back and is fancied to get the better of Barton Knoll, who was pulled up over C&D last time out after a bad mistake but did finish second prior to that at Doncaster. Politicise makes some each-way appeal.

CRACKING DESTINY and De Barley Basket both shaped well on their comeback run and look the pair to concentrate on, with the former getting the nod under Brian Hughes. Post No Bills is another one to consider.

After snatching third over an inadequate 2m in his latest chase, THE BIG LENSE tackles this more suitable trip from a workable mark.

19:35 Aintree Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

FATHER OF JAZZ kept on well to win under a penalty over C&D last month and James Owen's inmate left the impression that there would be more to come. He saw off subsequent winner State Of Bliss into third when scoring on his penultimate start and can add to his winning tally here. El Borracho finished a decent second over a similar trip at Bangor last month and is feared most, while Hurricane Ali completes the shortlist.

FATHER OF JAZZ was value for extra when defying a penalty in good style over C&D last month and, with further improvement on the cards now heading into handicaps, he's fancied to complete the hat-trick. Chaos Control can have his latest run at Warwick overlooked and rates the main threat, ahead of the likeable Hurricane Ali, who won this race last year from a 6 lb lower mark.

The smart Flat performer FATHER OF JAZZ is progressing well over hurdles and is taken to complete a hat-trick on his handicap debut.

LTO Selection:

20:10 Aintree Handicap Chase (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A winner on two of his previous three starts, BLUEBERRY WINE might still have more to offer and he is taken to defy a subsequent 5lb rise for last month's Huntingdon success. Lermoos Legend almost capitalised on a sliding handicap mark when finishing a good second at Cartmel 18 days ago and he merits respect once more, while Magistrato appeals most of the remainder.

LERMOOS LEGEND has dropped a long way in the weights and he was back on his game at Cartmel recently, so he gets the nod ahead of Magistrato, who won a weak race on his final outing for Paul Nicholls at Warwick 16 days ago. Blueberry Wine is another one to consider.

In a tricky race LERMOOS LEGEND, a good second at Cartmel last time, is taken to beat Blueberry Wine and Blaze A Trail.

Now 2-2 since joining the Iain Jardine stable, with the latest of her successes coming over fences, it might pay to side with BORN FAMOUS as she goes in search of a hat-trick. Recent Worcester scorer Dicey Rielly merits the utmost respect despite a 7lb rise in the handicap, along with Nora The Xplorer. Emily Wade continues to run well in defeat and can't be ruled out either.

BORN FAMOUS has been transformed by the switch to Iain Jardine and is taken to extend her winning run for her new yard to 3. Dicey Rielly quickened clear in good style at Worcester last time and is feared most for the in-form Peter Bowen team. The consistent Emily Wade is also respected.

Recent Worcester winner DICEY RIELLY is taken to follow up with the in-form Born Famous also likely to give a good account.
