LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

MARKET HOUSE has been in cracking form of late, both in this sphere and on the Flat, and he won readily over 2m3f at Fontwell last week. Alex Chadwick's mount shoulders a 7lb penalty for his troubles but remains very much the one to beat. Dual C&D winner Juan Bermudez didn't appear to get home over 2m6f here last time so it's no surprise to see him cutting back in trip. He is the obvious danger, while Chief Black Robe looks best of the remainder.

Recent Fontwell winner Market House is respected but JUAN BERMUDEZ ran a big race here last month and gets the nod.

(3) Lady Mo Mo 33/1, Well beaten in a maiden at Wetherby only start; top course trainer; up in trip; difficult to fancy
Started 100-1 for her Wetherby debut early in the month and ran accordingly.
LTO Selection:hiden content,

The two with experience didn't show much to be overly enthusiastic about on their respective debut runs, so this appears likely to go to a newcomer. ROYAL FIXATION is a half-sister to a couple of winning sprinters and is suggested as the first one to consider. Mandarin Spirit is bred along similar lines and commands respect, especially as her yard won the corresponding race on this card last year. Loma Express is another attractively-bred filly that could have a say.

A half-sister to a 2yo debutante winner, MANDARIN SPIRIT makes most appeal for a yard chasing a third win in this race in four seasons.

May still rate higher, being lightly raced and well bred (both parents won Group 1s).
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Lead Artist was tenacious when he shaded victory over Dancing Gemini in the Lockinge at Newbury and there is very little to choose between these two high-class individuals as they gear up for what promises to be another thrilling encounter. However, ROSALLION's third-placed finish that day was a very encouraging effort. That was his first start since he sealed victory with a lightning burst of speed in the St James's Palace here 12 months ago and he merits the utmost respect once again. Notable Speech, who was fourth in the Lockinge, and the now Australian-trained Carl Spackler add further depth to a splendid curtain raiser.

The withdrawal of Sardinian Warrior, who would have been the selection, promotes DANCING GEMINI to first choice ahead of Rosallion.

Second in two four-runner points in April; with good stable for rules career.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Sergeant Fury readily opened his Rules account at Huntingdon and warrants respect under a penalty, while Duel Au Soleil posted a solid runner-up effort over C&D last time and now wears a tongue-tie. However, a chance is taken on hurdling newcomer SUN DANCER GIRL, who receives plenty of weight all round. She won four times on the level for Andrew Balding and will likely know her job first time out for Fergal O'Brien.

Harry Derham's SERGEANT FURY delivered on earlier promise when winning readily at Huntingdon three weeks and might follow up here.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

COEDANA has finished second to a warm favourite in each of her previous starts and shown enough to recommend her as being a capable player here. Brielle's debut run at Haydock was an encouraging display and she too warrants a close inspection in the betting market. Ghaiyya is more exposed but her experience counts for plenty, and she is suggested as best of the rest.

The step up in trip looks a likely positive for BRIELLE on her second start and she earns the vote ahead of Coedana.

Military Code has plenty going for him after accounting for two subsequent winners under a penalty over 5f at this venue last month and is hard to ignore. Postmodern made a deep impression when bolting up on his introduction at Yarmouth and will likely have his supporters. The same can be said for Underwriter after his smooth debut success at Ayr, but the vote goes to GSTAAD. The son of Starspandledbanner turned over an odds-on stable companion at Navan last month and he shaped as if he might take a big step forward for that experience.

Joseph O'Brien's ANDAB suffered a troubled preparation before his third in the Marble Hill and significant improvement is a possibility.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

ALSHADHIAN won by a hard-held 13 lengths at Southwell just over a week ago and a 7lb penalty is unlikely to be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. Blackijo Dagrostis made an encouraging start to his chasing career when runner-up over C&D last month and should remain competitive lining up off the same mark, while La Quarite will likely improve on his Ffos Las display.

The most obvious answer is ALSHADHIAN, who cruised clear to win by 13l at Southwell last week and can cope with a 7lb penalty.

LADY ROXBY is an attractive proposition on her debut run for in-form trainer Michael Herrington and could be well placed to make a winning return. Having readily fended off Jeany May (second) when she won at Musselburgh on her penultimate start, there is a lot to like about her chance here. Recent Salisbury winner Blue Anthem could be the biggest danger to the selection off just 3lb higher, while Beerwah has been cut some slack by the handicapper and appeals for a place.

Beerwah has claims down another 2lb but this can go to BLUE ANTHEM, who could yet be capable of better back sprinting.

Asfoora beat Regional (second) when taking this contest last year with Believing back in fourth. The latter has improved subsequently and arrives on the back of a victory in the Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan in April. George Boughey's mare will be hard to keep out of the frame, but NIGHT RAIDER also drops back to the minimum trip with strong claims. The son of Dark Angel has bags of early pace and made all to win a Listed contest over 6f at Newcastle last term. A respectable third in the 1895 Duke Of York on his reappearance, this stiff 5f will suit the four-year-old. The Temple Stakes winner Mgheera is another to consider .

Asfoora has a solid chance if in the same form as last year but MGHEERA is still improving and can take another step forward.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Dual C&D scorer LORD ABAMA gets a tentative vote in this open-looking handicap. He can be excused a slightly below par effort at Ripon, where hampered soon after the start, and is better judged on two solid runner-up efforts prior to that. One More Dream finished a couple of lengths ahead of the selection at Ripon and should again go well, while Muscika and Dicko The Legend are just two more with claims.

None can be ruled out in a trappy race but DICKO THE LEGEND should be ideally suited by this track and trip.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

FIELD OF GOLD's emphatic success in the Irish 2,000 Guineas confirmed him to be a top-class miler and the son of Kingman can enhance his reputation by adding this showpiece event to his portfolio. Having run out of track when chasing home Ruling Court in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket last month, the John and Thady Gosden-trained colt has every chance of turning things around with his likely key rival. The supporting cast is headed by Henri Matisse, whose Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf and French Guineas successes bring him into the equation. Rashabar and Officer are respected but already have something to find with Field Of Gold based on their encounter at the Curragh.

The percentage call lies with FIELD OF GOLD, ahead of Ruling Court and Henri Matisse in a cracking clash of Guineas winners.

Davidoc is 4lb better off with A DUBLIN JOB (nap) than when 3l second to him at Warwick in May but the latter can prevail again.

It could pay to side with the least exposed member of the line-up, BLUE RC. James Tate's colt shaped with lots of promise when runner-up on his handicap debut over this trip at Kempton and the third has franked that form by winning easily since. Open to plenty of further improvement, he may go one better off a 2lb higher mark. Daring Legend has been hammering on the door and looks sure to be in the shake-up once again, while Benacre also merits consideration with his sights lowered.

Telepathic is capable of better if he settles but this can go to the unexposed BLUE RC (nap), who improved on his handicap debut.

Chester Cup hero East India Dock has an 8lb higher rating to contend with, but it would be no surprise to see him feature. Willie Mullins has a strong hand with Reaching High and Poniros, with a slight preference for the former after his runner-up effort at Leopardstown and the booking of Ryan Moore catching the eye. However, LIARI made a strong impression when scoring by five lengths over 1m6f at Newmarket last time and he may relish this extra distance. The son of Cracksman makes only his second start for the Michael Bell yard and he could be the one to beat.

Willie Mullins has the high-profile Poniros and Reaching High but ALPHONSE LE GRANDE (nap) is selected ahead of Woot City.

FILLYFUDGE romped home in this class over track and trip on her most recent start and the assessor may have been kind to only put her up 9lb. Considering the manner of that success, she could prove hard to beat. Al Mootamarid showed a lot more when second at Huntingdon and he now sports a first-time tongue-tie off an unchanged mark, so has to be respected. Masonbrook Meadow looks the pick of the remainder.

Sixty Plus could be very dangerous but the pick us AL MOOTAMARID, who split two well-handicapped rivals when second last month.

A runner-up at Redcar last month, GOLDEN RAINBOW went close again when third at Wetherby on his latest start. Those efforts suggest a return to winning ways is imminent and Rebecca Menzies' charge is marginally preferred to King's Crown in an open sprint. The latter has also been in the mix of late and another bold bid is anticipated, while Dandy Fitz and Match Play are not without claims either.

This might just be set up for the free-going KING'S CROWN, who's back on his last winning mark.

MYSTICAL QUEEN made a pleasing start for the Gemma Tutty yard when a respectable third at Wolverhampton earlier in the month and she was kindly dropped 1lb subsequently. The daughter of Ribchester takes a big step up in trip and provided she stays, she could be the one to beat. Frostmagic was just touched off into second over a mile at Kempton last time and he also tackles this distance for the first time, so he is one to note. Karthon completes the shortlist.

Taylormade Lad is interesting but FROSTMAGIC comes into this in good form and gets the vote even though he faces a longer trip.

It was hard not to be impressed by Ecureuil Secret's success on his first start in a handicap at Epsom earlier in the month and the son of Wootton Bassett looks well worth his place in this class. Liberty Lane beat Meydaan by a neck at this level at Goodwood last month and he can confirm his authority over that rival to have a say, but a chance can be taken on TORITO. The five-year-old finished third in last year's renewal and the son of Kingman hasn't been seen since. He remains unexposed and sports first-time cheekpieces, which could eke out the improvement required to score.

Enfjaar is much respected for a yard with a good record in this but narrow preference is for MEYDAAN, an improved second last time.

EQUITY LAW could prove the one to side with. The son of Equiano has been running well in more competitive sprints, including when runner-up here in May, and it's only a matter of time before the four-year-old gets his head back in front. Catch Cunningham is another with solid claims back in this lower grade, while Ready Freddie Go could bounce back to form on his first start after a wind operation.

The likely good pace will suit Catch Cunningham but preference is for EQUITY LAW, who's used to plying his trade in better company.

LOKMA showed a big chunk of improvement when scoring in comfortable style to shed her maiden tag over C&D last time and she now makes her handicap debut. The daughter of Earthlight has progressed with each of her three starts and could take another step forward to defy an opening mark of 74. Keldeo was a short-head second at Catterick last month and needs considering, while Nightbird is another to note.

Handicap newcomer LOKMA (nap) looks the one to beat after winning a Class 3 novice in good style over C&D last month.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Willie Mullins has sent out the last two winners of this event, so Charlus deserves plenty of respect with Ryan Moore doing the steering. An import from France, where he won three times on the Flat, he can feature returning to this code, but FRENCH MASTER makes most appeal. A progressive son of Frankel, John & Thady Gosden's charge won at Goodwood on his first start over 1m6f and remains open to further improvement in first-time blinkers. Caballo De Mar is another on the upgrade, having scored over 2m at Haydock last time, while Champagne Prince is also noted.

Willie Mullins has won the last two runnings and CHARLUS has potential off his current mark. French Master could be a big danger.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content,

Command The Stars finished a fair fifth on his debut at Haydock last month and he could take a step forward to have a say. However, REVERBERATE is a half-brother to Castle Stuart, who struck over an extended mile on his third juvenile start for this yard, and the son of Night Of Thunder could make an instant impression. Any market confidence behind newcomer Hood Wink would also be interesting.

Reverberate could be a cut above these but COMMAND THE STARS has the benefit of experience after an encouraging debut at Haydock.

IRISH DANCER and Kipp Kelly look to be the pair to focus on. The latter has often run well in defeat and holds solid enough credentials to suggest he can at least go close in this company. However, Irish Dancer has the more convincing overall profile and can go one better having been denied by just a nose when second in a similar event most recently. Another Bungle and Victors Dream are others to consider.

Unexposed 3yo ANOTHER BUNGLE will be a tough nut to crack at this level if able to replicate the form he showed on his handicap debut.

DUMFRIES had Kalganov (third) one and a half lengths behind when beaten a neck into second at Catterick last week and he is expected to confirm that form. The five-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of performance in order to go one better. Sunny Orange is a previous C&D winner who occupied the runner-up berth on his latest outing, also at Catterick last Tuesday. He should remain competitive, while Langholm looks best of the rest.

This can go to SUNNY ORANGE, who trotted up in this race 12 months ago and ran his best race of the season last week at Catterick.

RUMBA NUMBA stepped forward from her debut at Yarmouth to break her maiden in a convincing manner at Wolverhampton last month and she is readily suggested as the one to be with. Big Leader was a surprise winner at Redcar on his racecourse bow but did it well and is another that should have more to give. Panelli is the pick of the rest with experience, while Sir Hannibal is an interesting debutant.

The switch to AW suited RUMBA NUMBA last time and she's taken to defy a penalty. Panelli is second choice.

KITSUNE POWER has eased to a potentially lenient mark and duly finished a respectable second at Pontefract on his latest start. Tim Easterby's charge drops down a grade, with an apprentice's 7lb allowance also in his favour, and could prove the one to side with. Lincoln Rockstar went close when runner-up at Leicester and will likely be thereabouts at the finish again, while Ripon third Ancient Myth looks best of the remainder.

The mare LINCOLN ROCKSTAR (nap) is unbeaten in three attempts over C&D and gets the nod following her back-to-form second at Leicester.

Time Allowed and Tokyo Joe are respected but may do better when they tackle handicaps, while Alerta Maxima was a promising winner at Goodwood when last seen but the 12-month absence has to be a slight concern. With all that considered, it could pay to take a chance on the well-bred MAGIC STAR, who is a half-brother to the Listed winner Scentasia. Another chance is given to SUPREME SOVEREIGN who proved himself on this surface when winning here last November.

SIBYL CHARM had to be switched for a clear run when third in a tougher contest at Musselburgh most recently. She would have finished closer to the winner otherwise, and Iain Jardine's charge can make the most of this easier opportunity. Age Of Baroque posted a better effort at Kempton last month and is likely to prove competitive with an apprentice's allowance in his favour, while Racing Country is worth a second glance debuting for a new yard.

The choice is NOISY MUSIC who is just 1lb higher than when winning at Wolverhampton last September.

TRIPLE FORCE was fitted with a visor for the first time at Nottingham five days ago and routed the opposition. He barely broke sweat on that occasion, so a 5lb penalty is unlikely to prevent Craig Lidster's charge going in again. Inspiring Speeches ran well for a long way over 1m4f here on his first start for a new yard and this shorter distance will likely suit, while Falcon Nine is another to note with blinkers applied.

If in the same form as at Nottingham five days ago, when bolting up in a first-time visor, then TRIPLE FORCE will surely defy a penalty.

Immediate Effect went close in novice company at Brighton on his return to action and has to be of interest now handicapping. However, FORT CAMPBELL also makes his handicap debut after scoring at Kempton on last month's reappearance. The son of War Front makes plenty of appeal with the prospect of more to come over this extra furlong, while Bowen Island could also get involved back in this lower grade.

The selection is BOWEN ISLAND who is back in calmer waters having contested the Silver Bowl at Haydock last month.
