LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

DANCING TEAPOT may prove the pick here, back in maiden company. The Camelot filly was runner-up twice last November at Dundalk and the form of those races looks fairly solid. She ran a decent race when fifth in handicap company at the Curragh on her return and going back up to a mile now should suit. She can confirm form with Chocalho, who was just behind her in third when the selection made her debut at Dundalk. Joyful Princess has the same mark of 80 as Dancing Teapot and looks an obvious danger. She was a bit keen early on when third on her return here last month and may benefit from that outing.

It might pay to side with CHOCALHO. She is closely matched with Dancing Teapot on Dundalk form last year and 1m should suit

Modest form on the Flat at up to 2m and unlikely to be making a winning start over hurdles.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Queensworthy could prove popular here for the Skeltons after winning her bumper readily enough at Southwell and she might be a big player here on her hurdling debut. APPLESHAW was second on her only start in a Plumpton bumper. With the winner of that contest placing in a Listed bumper before winning over hurdles, that form has an above average look to it. Sharona is another of interest if wind-surgery and a tongue-tie bring about any improvement.

The obvious contenders showed a similar level of ability in fairly ordinary bumpers. QUEENSWORTHY may have the most potential.

LA NOTE VERTE relished good ground when a wide-margin winner of a fillies' bumper here 12 months ago. She hasn't been seen since then, but is sure to well schooled for this first crack at hurdling coming from the champion trainer's stable. Hillhead Runner has switched to Gavin Cromwell after landing a fillies' bumper at Tipperary in October by the narrowest margin, so this Mahler mare has to rate a danger. Mile End wasn't beaten in fourth when unseating two out in Tipperary. She's had four spins over hurdles with a best finish of second at Thurles. Bearami Creek disappointed in Downpatrick, but there was promise in her third over flights on the penultimate start at Ballinrobe.

The eyes are drawn to LA NOTE VERTE who looked a nice prospect in winning her bumper here last summer and this is a winnable maiden.

A weak race and JAZZ DREAMERS may be able to strike after a good run on his return at Roscommon three weeks ago. The Red Jazz gelding gave young Joe Harnett a good spin that day when finishing third to Zero Fighter and a 7lb claim in this looks a big asset. Deuteronomy ran well when third at Cork recently and could be a big player for the more experienced Nicola Burns. Higher Kingdom has been placed three times this season and is another that has to come into the mix.

It has been a while since JAZZ DREAMERS got his head in front but he shaped nicely on his seasonal return and has gone well here before

IRON HEART came home 11 lengths clear of his rivals here over hurdles last month, but he returns to fences now where he gets to race off 10lb lower than his new rating over the smaller obstacles. Although yet to win a chase, he has got placed form at this level and above. Cloudy Wednesday was a half-length second over C&D off this mark in May and warrants serious consideration, leaving Watchoutitscookie to follow them home.

Mickey Bowen's IRON HEART won well over hurdles last time and this could be the day he gets his head in front over fences.

KESSAAR POWER was no match for a progressive rival when second at Yarmouth on Thursday but it was a creditable performance nonetheless. Turned out quickly and dropped into classified stakes company for the first time, he ought to go close. Three-time course winner Bear To Dream merits respect, while the consistent Match Anthem, who remains unexposed on the grass, is also noted.

Some rain would have been ideal for Kessaar Power and the vote goes to BEAR TO DREAM, who hasn't had much luck of late.

DAY TRADER had some useful form on the Flat in France and may oblige on his third outing over hurdles. There was plenty to like about his jumping debut in Down Royal where he finished second. He didn't run his race in Killarney six days later, but it may have come too soon and he has had three weeks off since then. Penny Express didn't fare badly in fourth on debut at Tramore and may not have stayed over a much longer trip when next seen at Downpatrick. Gordon Elliott's charge gets a first-time hood. Coup D'etat attracted plenty of support in Cork, but weakened out of contention over further. He could land a blow over this trip, though.

Flat winner DAY TRADER will need to run better than he did at Killarney but that was only six days after his good run at Down Royal.

HEAVENS GATE can do the business down in grade. The Churchill filly took another very valuable prize last year when winning the Ballyhane Stakes at Naas and went on to score in Group 3 company at the Curragh. She has faced stiff tasks since including on her latest outing, when beating a couple home in the French 1,000 Guineas last month. Joseph O'Brien runs four with jockey bookings suggesting And So To Bed is the pick. She also drops in grade, having been well beaten in Group company last time. Dual C&D winner Deressa is another for the shortlist.

It could pay to side with DERESSA, an improving filly who has shown a liking for this track. Heavens Gate had smart juvenile form

Square Du Roule was third at Newton Abbot last month and back up in trip, there is every chance he can get involved where it matters. Matoury was not disgraced over C&D on his first start in over a year and he could surprise a few, but ST PATRICKS BRIDGE is preferred. A spell in point-to-points appears to have rejuvenated him with two wins and a second from five starts and he can go well off this mark on his return to the Fergal O'Brien team.

Nigel Hawke's SQUARE DU ROULE (nap) has run two solid races since undergoing a wind operation and his turn looks near.

LAZZAR has posted some creditable efforts in defeat so far, including when finishing third at Windsor three weeks ago. This, on paper, looks to be his easiest assignment to date and the gelded son of Mehmas is expected to break the maiden. That being said, Getreadytorumble was only narrowly denied at Wolverhampton two weeks ago and is a player if handling the switch to turf. Hooded ahead of her debut, 320,000gns purchase Hattal warrants a market check.

Newcomer Hattal is respected, with GETREADYTORUMBLE narrowly preferred to Lazzar among those with experience.

LADY BEE GREAT is a lightly-raced sort who showed marked improvement to keep on for second in a maiden hurdle at Tipperary. Some of the improvement could be attributed to the hood that was deployed for the first time and, unsurprisingly, it is retained. Lilian Bland has won three of her last five races and is picking up plenty of prize money with her consistency. She is a real credit to connections and, if coping with this shorter trip, would have to be feared. It'sallabouteve travelled well on her way to second over C&D last September. She is entitled to come on from this run, but is certainly worth a market check.

Preference is for LADY BEE GREAT who brings momentum into handicaps after her good run behind an in-form mare at Tipperary.

MY KURKUM has performed well on his last two outings and may be able to bag a deserved win now. The Dariyan gelding steps up again slightly in trip having chased home Zero Fighter at Roscommon three weeks ago and that could help. Cherry Pink has been holding her form well and was third at Roscommon a fortnight ago having won at the same course previously. She has to be on the shortlist. Sierra De Gredos was a couple of lengths behind Cherry Pink last time and also has to come into calculations.

SIERRA DE GREDOS went very close off this mark over C&D last month and the visor might just make the difference.

PRINCE IMPERIAL went agonisingly close to landing a four-timer when caught in the dying strides at Warwick. A tight race. LETTERSTON LADY had the form of her recent win franked on Saturday and she's taken to follow up.

Both of MUY MUY LOCO's last two starts over 7f would suggest he is crying out for a return to further, and the Phoenix Of Spain gelding gets the mile here. The admirable veteran LORD ERSKINE has a shot at defying top-weight. The 12-year-old gelding is up 6lb after delivering in a valuable handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse over Easter. That was his 12th career success over hurdles and on the Flat, including two on the level at this venue. Stuntman Steve was just over three lengths behind Lord Erskine in fifth at Fairyhouse, but could get closer on this better ground. Shraheen is appreciably up in class, but has more than earned a crack at this contest as he's on a hat-trick after victories at Tipperary and Leopardstown. The downside is that he has been off since Christmas. Raydamann's third in a big field at Punchestown was a more than fair effort.

Running fine races in defeat on his last three starts, STUNTMAN STEVE (nap) could get his day today with a repeat of his best.

The Soldier's Call gelding got boxed in on the rail and had to wait for a gap before trying to chase down the eventual winner Out On Friday, just failing by a neck to peg back that rival. He remains on the same mark now. Lough Leane ran a big race on his first start for Maurice Ahern at Cork last month and is respected with Dylan Browne McMonagle a notable booking. Autumn Twist won over hurdles recently and is another who has to be considered on his return to the level.

GWENNIE MAY JEM goes from strength to strength over fences. He forged clear at Newton Abbot last month to land a double and Dan Skelton's five-year-old looks capable of defying a 10lb hike with plenty more to come over the larger obstacles. Prospect House won over course and distance in April and is no forlorn hope back at this venue, while My Virtue made a promising start over fences when runner-up at Stratford and she could land a blow.

Dan Skelton's 5yo GWENNIE MAY JEM looks a young chaser on the upgrade and can take the latest 10lb hit in his stride.

TWILIGHT GUEST was eased towards the finish to score in ready style over track and trip last Tuesday and now has a 5lb penalty to carry. If the five-year-old arrives in similar form, he will prove tough to beat. Maguire made the frame over a mile here latest and goes off the same mark, so he has to be considered. Cryptos Dream is another to watch out for.

This can go to ANGEL ON HIGH, who's had excuses in a couple of runs back, is well handicapped and boasts a good record over C&D.

BLOOD DESTINY is very hard to go past at these weights with his rating of 152. A Grade 3 victory in Navan last year preceded a third place in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse. His runner-up berth behind a stablemate in a Grade 3 at Killarney last month should have him primed for this assignment, albeit he would prefer slower ground. The Banger Doyle is next best on ratings (11lb inferior to Blood Destiny) and could appreciate this small field as he beat five rivals at Cork last October. Embittered will enjoy this ground and it may spark a return to form.

This should be a straightforward task for BLOOD DESTINY, who ran a career-best on RPR figures when runner-up at Killarney last time.

KALIXA takes a drop in class having contested the Oaks Trial at Naas last time and may get back to winning ways on her handicap debut. The Dermot Weld team continue in decent form and she's open to further improvement off what may prove a reasonable mark. Gotomylovely finished just ahead of the selection at Naas and the impressive course winner is a contender again, while Pink Oxalis also won in good style here earlier this season and is on a hat-trick. Lady Lunette wasn't helped by a slow start when narrowly denied in a tight finish at Leopardstown last month.

This should be run at a good clip and that could set it up for the 3yo FORTUNA VERA who stayed on strongly to score at Leopardstown

Although he ended his latest campaign below par, it could be worth chancing NACHTGEIST on his first outing for Olly Murphy. The five-year-old is 1lb below his runner-up effort at Huntingdon in October last year and a reproduction of that effort would make him tough to beat. Market House arrives on the back of a triumph on the level and reverting to an extended 2m over hurdles is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. Gms Prince is also noted.

The 5yo NACHTGEIST has time on his side to get his house in order for Olly Murphy and he has shown winning potential over hurdles.

LOCAL BAY has filled the runner-up spot at this venue the last twice, most recently over 7f, and he now sports first-time cheekpieces. The seven-year-old lurks on an appealing mark and could record a third course victory. Renesmee made a pleasing start for the Michael Keady yard when only beaten half a length into second at Newmarket and should go well. Of the remainder, Darysina Gold makes the most appeal.

Local Bay remains well treated now back in form. RENESMEE made a solid debut for Michael Keady recently, though, and she shades it.

EYES OFF ANNIE could be capable of making the most of the weight she receives from all of her rivals with David Doyle good value for his 7lb claim. The extreme trip may have proved the daughter of Presenting's undoing at Downpatrick last time, and she's best judged on her patiently-ridden win over an extended 3m at Cork on Easter Monday. Many of these have done battle more than once in the past and given that he's progressive and on a winning roll, Bartlemy Boy ought to confirm superiority over familiar foes. Lisleigh Lad is another to consider.

Back to form when a close second to the re-opposing Bartlemy Boy at Killarney last time, DUNDANIEL could reverse that form.

The consistent GAME POINT looks the one to beat for local owners Ballygallon Stud. The son of Blue Point has to overcome a wide draw but has shown plenty of promise in three outings including when runner-up on his reappearance over a similar trip at Leopardstown. Tashir made a pleasing debut at this venue but needs to bounce back after a disappointing effort at Ballinrobe, while riding arrangements suggest Dun An Oir is preferred of Jessica Harrington's pair and he may leave a poor debut run on soft ground well behind on this sounder surface. Railgun is a half-brother to four winners including Zihba, who landed a Group 3 for the Stack yard.

This should be straightforward for the 88-rated GAME POINT who split a pair of Ballydoyle colts when second at Leopardstown in April.

Having offered plenty of encouragement on his second-placed debut at Plumpton last month, it is difficult to get away from I'M A BELIEVER in this small-field affair. The Elusive Pimpernel gelding should put that experience to good use and compensation could be imminent. Rodeo is a potential fly in the ointment on his opening bid and market support would be interesting. Santorini Grey is the pick of the remainder.

I'm A Believer is probably the one to beat but it could pay to chance Tom George's newcomer RODEO.

VICTORS DREAM outran his odds to take the silver medal home over C&D last month and he should go very close dropping into classified stakes company. Marco Botti's five-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to go one better. Second Collection is a model of consistency at this level, while Anglesey Lad isn't out of it either.

Anglesey Lad is his own worst enemy and preference is for last year's winner VICTORS DREAM, who had him behind over C&D last time.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content,

SOLDIERS WORLD showed some promise in point-to-points and it's interesting that he's tried in a bumper having switched to the Declan Queally yard. This shorter trip and better ground could be right up his alley while any market move would be significant. Angelo Dundee is the obvious threat having won a bumper at the Punchestown Festival back in 2023 but he's obviously not been the easiest to train and filled the runner-up spot behind the odds-on Sunny South West when reappearing at Tipperary last month. Point winner Additional Time might be next best.

Though ANGELO DUNDEE carries a 7lb penalty for his debut success in 2023, he ran well after an absence last time and is the safest bet.

The Eamonn O'Connell-trained gelding finished strongly into third and should be suited by this longer distance with Colin Keane a significant booking. Elvetham was close behind in sixth on that occasion and may now appreciate the application of a tongue-tie. Ventress hasn't shown too much in maidens but appears the pick of Johnny Murtagh's pair with Ben Coen booked on handicap debut, while Whats New gave some encouragement on his seasonal debut over a similar trip at Tipperary.

With the form of his Tipperary fourth boosted by wins for the second and third, WHATS NEW may not have to improve much to win this

Forever My Prince might have been positioned on the more favourable part of the track when finishing second at Newmarket last month, but that was a promising return to action and he merits respect. That said, KALAHARI BLUE gets the vote. The daughter of Blue Point posted a number of positive efforts on turf last term before finding the 91-rated French Sand too strong at Wolverhampton latest. Progress looks likely today, and the booking of Oisin Murphy is noteworthy. Alondra can chase the pair home.

Plenty have possibilities but Eve Johnson Houghton's improver FOREVER MY PRINCE gets the vote ahead of C&D winner Fleetwater.

VLAD shaped with promise to fill the runner-up spot at Newmarket on debut last month and he would have learned a great deal from that experience. He could have any amount of improvement to come and will prove hard to beat. His main threat might be Magic Stone, who changed hands for 30,000 pounds and is a brother to Stone Of Destiny. Daizen is another to keep an eye on.

It's hard to see past VLAD who made a promising debut at Newmarket behind big talking horse Treanmor.

A tricky puzzle to solve with little form in the book but a chance can be taken on AMERICAN GULF. The son of Ardad fetched 150,000gns as a yearling and is related to the likes of Mammas Girl and Arabie, who were both smart in their juvenile campaigns - so it would come as no great surprise were he of a similar ilk. Owen Burrows has had an excellent start to the new campaign and his representative, Hengroin, is entitled to progress, having shaped with promise on his racecourse bow last month. Blue Orbit is another to consider.

Top of the list is BLUE ORBIT, who was runner-up behind a useful prospect at Chepstow last month and sets a good standard on that form.

COTAI BELLE took a sizeable step forward from her first to second start when only beaten a length into second at Thirsk last month, and she could have plenty more to offer. With her inexperience having still been evident when runner-up at Bath on her second start, MEHMAS AIR FORCE should have more to offer

JETTIE'S RUN chased home a useful filly home on her debut in September before going one place better the following month. The runner-up that day has since gone on to occupy the same position in Listed company and although Ralph Beckett's charge hasn't been seen since October, she ought to prove difficult to beat under a 7lb penalty. Tropical Heat is likely to be suited by further but is likely to enter calculations following a promising return in April, while Cuban Lady heads the remainder.

Preference is for JETTIE'S RUN, who won at Kempton in October and that form has been well advertised by the runner-up since.

LADY MARIKO produced the best effort of her career when finishing second at Nottingham in April and has since changed hands for 25,000gns. The daughter of Kameko makes her first start for the in-form Dylan Cunha stable and can gain her first career triumph. Clasina finished a fair third over this distance at Ayr on her latest outing and needs considering, while Sixteen One is another to watch out for.

Having gone close at Nottingham in April on her final run for the Crisford stable, LADY MARIKO is taken to get off the mark.

Having showed a determined attitude to complete a double over C&D last month, the unbeaten RAJAKING looks one to follow. Stuart Williams' charge enters handicaps off what looks a workable mark of 86 and a hat-trick may be on the cards. Fellow handicap debutant Strong Warrior boasts a similar profile and likely has better days ahead too. The Mehmas colt is feared most, ahead of So Darn Hot, who should put his experience to good use.

An interesting race in which SO DARN HOT gets the vote ahead of the unbeaten pair Strong Warrior and Rajaking.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Having regained the winning thread at Lingfield 23 days ago, Morcar warrants respect in his follow-up bid. A 3lb rise is unlikely to prevent another good account, but SILVER GUNN (second) finished ahead of Richard Hannon's charge (third) on his seasonal debut in late April. Any improvement could make the seven-year-old tough to beat and a seventh career victory is a distinct possibility. Fellow in-form rivals Westridge and Hitched also warrant consideration.

Dual C&D winner MORCAR was as good as ever when scoring at Lingfield last month and he gets the vote.

Trojan Truth took a division of this race last year and is back for more off exactly the same rating, following a fourth over shorter at Bath. Jimmy Mark arrives in good form after a win at Bath and a second at the same track, but he has tried off this mark four times without a victory, so FRAVANCO gets the vote. He stays further with a third over two miles in April, and may be able to run them down late on over this trip.

This Time Maybe looks set to go well but last year's winner TROJAN TRUTH should benefit from the return of blinkers.

(3) Hamlet's Night 4/1, Ran to form beaten 1/2l off 80 at Lingfield last time; cheekpieces first time; in good form and threat given upward curve
Runner-up in six of his 12 starts, including last two; cheekpieces could help him focus.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

HAMLET'S NIGHT just failed to catch the winner at Lingfield last time. That form looks stronger in hindsight, given the third has subsequently won, and the son of Invincible Spirit looks worthy of another chance. Bodorgan is another to consider arriving on the back of a promising third at Hamilton on his reappearance and first start for his new yard, while Candonomore is respected over this longer trip.

Glistening Nights is respected but cheekpieces could be the catalyst for HAMLET'S NIGHT to belatedly shed his maiden tag.

Walson's Law may still be a maiden but he has a head second at Newcastle over this trip to his name and would be of interest if a change of yard to Eve Johnson Houghton sparks any improvement. Savvy Exchange has been racing in better company and could do better in this grade, but NEWFANGLED looks the likelier winner. A neck success over C&D sees him upped a further 2lb, but as he rarely does more than enough to win, there may be improvement to come.

This can go to NEWFANGLED (nap), who has form figures of 31211232131 since last July and that latest win was over C&D nine days ago.

NOVAMAY returned to action with a respectable second at Ripon and that run is entitled to have brought her on. She failed to trouble the winner, who went on to land a double, but Michael Dods' charge looks on a workable mark and gets the vote. A winner at Bath last month, Hidden Verse remains in fine form and can feature again with Danny Tudhope taking over the reins, while Monticristo Boy is next best.

Novamay could improve further but a bigger show looks on the cards from CAPTAIN PICKLES and this could be his day.
