Yafaarr remains a maiden after three starts and has his first run in a handicap after a gelding operation. Captain Cess was beaten less than a length when third at Bath and has also been gelded since and could go close, but FRENCH HAVEN is preferred. She got off the mark at Newmarket recently and an added 2lb may not stop her from following up.

French Haven clicked with her Newmarket win but could still prove vulnerable to improvement from CAPTAIN CESS and Classic Cause.

NEOLITHIC finished behind Gavoo on his debut recently but might turn form and win. That Curragh maiden was a smart contest and while the selection was beaten nine lengths, he was green for much of the race before running on in the closing stages. Today's rider claims 3lb and he looks sure to improve. Gavoo showed plenty ability on his debut in that recent maiden, so can give the selection plenty to think about. Summer Is Tomorrow missed the break on debut in a lesser Roscommon maiden but should improve plenty.

Following a pleasing debut at the Curragh GAVOO can be fancied to confirm form with Innumerable who was having her second outing

I AM RIVER is interesting on his return to action. The Getaway gelding pulled up on his debut run in a Fairyhouse bumper in January 2024 when the rider reported he lost his action. He had gone to post a well supported odds-on shot that day so obviously shows a bit at home. There are a few of these that have been knocking on the door. Keep Kool Coko ran a solid race when chasing home Trasna Na Pairce at Clonmel last time and sets the standard off a mark of 112. In The Trenches has been placed over fences on his last three runs and is another to note, reverting to hurdles.

A few of these are capable of picking up a modest maiden but I AM RIVER has the potential to be a cut above them all.

Glitter Code has some fair placed form, including a second over a mile at Yarmouth last month, but 10 starts without a win is a concern. Westgate Warrior is interesting stepping up in trip for his handicap debut, after a three-length fifth at Southwell over 5f, but ADVERSARY tops the shortlist. A short-head second in April, the Pinatubo gelding steps up in trip in first-time blinkers and he could come home in front.

James Ferguson's filly BAY OF DREAMS has remained in good form since her Newcastle win in March and gets the vote.

Having recently got the better of an odds-on stablemate at Huntingdon, there could be more to come from HIGH COURT JUDGE in this discipline. That was only the five-year-old's third appearance over hurdles and he shades the verdict over Howth. Tom Lacey's charge made a winning hurdles bow at Market Rasen last month and isn't taken lightly. Alvesta may fare best of the remainder.

High Court Judge is not opposed lightly but HOWTH was a better horse on the Flat and has also won over hurdles.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content,

DREAMY SKIES represents an in-form yard which operates at a high strike-rate, so it is encouraging that she debuts this early in her career. A 240,000gns yearling and out of winning-juvenile racemare, she debuts at a difficult course for newcomers but her trainer has done well with newcomers at country tracks recently and if she breaks well from the inside draw, should figure. Luna Mia was a 125,000 pounds breeze-up purchase last month and should also run well, while 360,000-euro yearling Closely is a half-sibling to five winners. Well-bred Daring Grace is tongue-tied on debut while Award Ceremony has proven speed and fair ability.

Those with previous runs don't provide an insurmountable level of form. CLOSELY has a nice pedigree and can win on debut.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content,

TOAD HALL sets a good standard here off his mark of 127 and should take a bit of beating. The Fame And Glory gelding won his maiden hurdle at Downpatrick in late March and wasn't disgraced in a decent novice event at Cheltenham last month. This looks easier. Cooke's Lass won on her debut at Wexford early last month and remains unexposed. She looks like the danger. Huntsgrove was a game winner at Sligo last time but looks to have more on his plate now.

The Champion trainer has won the last two renewals of this and the top rated TOAD HALL (nap) should be up to completing the hat-trick.

With very little form to work with, the Redcar third WITHOUT BURLINGTON could be the one. A drop back in trip may see him in a better light with his first run in four months under his belt. Newcomer Forever Penywern is one to note for the William Haggas and Cieran Fallon team, alongside Dabhand, who is a half-brother to numerous winners around the world.

Given the standard of form on offer in this field, it is not hard to turn to the Haggas-trained newcomer FOREVER PENYWERN.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

LYNESS DANCER made a perfect stable debut when coasting home at Huntingdon last month. Although the assessor has reacted with a 10lb hike in the ratings, the six-year-old looked to score with plenty in the tank and a double could be on the cards. Kankin returned to form with a respectable second at Stratford 24 days ago and may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Dartmouth Rose.

There is no strong temptation to oppose LYNESS DANCER (nap), who won very comfortably on last month's stable debut.

NEZEEH has done well in recent weeks and ran well in a claimer on Thursday. A speedily-bred Godolphin cast-off, he had tried slightly longer distances before scoring at Cork earlier this month and having again shown nice ability at Fairyhouse, seems progressive and is helped by his draw in 2. Nine-time winner Tawaazon defeated today's rival Never Shout Never to win at Naas recently while reappearing Ramiro is drawn wide in 12 but is a previous course winner.

NEVER SHOUT NEVER has been running consistently and has dropped to a dangerous mark. He can turn around the .5L deficit from last time

He made a couple of bold bids around Fairyhouse and Punchestown earlier in the year when scooting well clear only to be collared late on. They might find it hard to peg him back around here. Loup De Tallane was an impressive winner on his last visit here and could be a danger on his return to action. Give Him A Chance had just been headed when falling at Limerick last month and off just a 2lb higher mark he's another that has to come into the mix.

OUR UNCLE JACK shaped like this longer trip would suit when fifth over 2m2f here last time out and he can go close if settling better.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content,

CHARLIE BOYO failed to justify favouritism but still shaped with bundles of promise when only beaten a neck into second on his debut at Salisbury. Clive Cox's youngster might only need to find minimal improvement in order to get off the mark. Capitalization changed hands for 260,000 pounds in April and with the Hamad Al Jehani yard in good nick, he has to be respected. Any market confidence behind Rogue Supremacy would be interesting.

The newcomers will need to be pretty streetwise to beat CHARLIE BOYO, who ran to a useful level when second on his debut.

POTTERSJETAMAY supplemented his promising fifth-placed stable bow at Warwick with a respectable second over hurdles at Southwell last time. Matt Crawley's inmate makes plenty of appeal reverting to fences and this could prove a suitable opportunity for the six-year-old to open his account. Three-time chase winner Getaway Jewel's mark continues to tumble and he shouldn't be underestimated, while Extraordinary Man should appreciate the reapplication of cheekpieces.

Topweight POTTERSJETAMAY probably still has potential over fences and gets the nod ahead of Extraordinary Man.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

WANNABE ROYAL was well held in the recent Tetrarch Stakes but drops in grade. Well held at the Curragh, she was eased when her chance had gone and while she would prefer an ease in ground conditions, is useful and has an ability to race with the pace, which helps around here. Chazzesmee is a former Irish Lincoln winner, who slipped on his most recent race last June. He is better on easy ground and has a long lay-off to overcome. UK import Kilt is a keen-goer but likes fast ground.

This is a good opportunity for WANNABE ROYAL although there is a suspicion that she prefers a softer surface.

The recent Newmarket second Fiscal Policy is another with valid form claims.

LIGHT DRAGOON trounced the opposition at Fontwell on his return to action. That was only his second start in a handicap, so there should be plenty more to come from Tom Lacey's charge. James Owen has trained the last two winners of this contest and runs Tara Iti, a losing favourite when second at Uttoxeter a week ago, while Callin Baton Rouge is preferred to Piecederesistance of the remaining pair.

The suggestion is CALLIN BATON ROUGE, who did very well for the Pogson stable last summer, is back on a good mark now.

EL BELLO might defy top-weight, being a five-time winner at this distance. Admittedly all those career wins have come on all-weather surfaces but he has been running well on turf in recent weeks. Once rated 80, he competes from a career low rating today and finished ahead of today's rival Saxon Kingdom at the Curragh earlier this month. Saxon Kingdom is consistent and is also just 5lb higher than when winning at Gowran recently but would prefer an extra furlong. Browned Off has changed ownership since a recent disappointment but previously chased home Are You In Or Out at Leopardstown.

The consistent STILL SHE BLOOMS gets the vote to reverse Killarney form with subsequent winner Saxon Kingdom on revised terms

The recent Newmarket sixth Athena's Fortune is an interesting contender with the benefit of that experience. She can go well, but it may be worth taking a chance on the unraced CATWALK CHAT, a daughter of Expert Eye who is in the care of James Owen and looks the part on pedigree. Our Cody was a beaten favourite at Chepstow and is another to consider.

There are some interesting newcomers. CAITRINHO has to deal with a wide draw but it was an encouraging start he made at Newmarket.

A competitive looking contest and ASPUROFTHEMOMENT may be able to keep his winning run going. The Ocovango gelding has won twice over hurdles after joining Gavin Cromwell having won a point-to-point for Eugene O'Sullivan. He went up to a mark of 120 after his cosy success at Bellewstown last month and that is the top mark for this restricted beginners chase. Plenty of Henry de Bromhead's improve for going chasing and Nouvotic has to be respected having earned a mark of 117 over timber. St Cuthbert's Cave has a hurdles mark of 118 and is another for the shortlist.

This isn't a bad beginners' chase and the suggestion is NOUVOTIC who ran so well in a pretty hot handicap hurdle last time.

HURRICANE BAY reportedly suffered a respiratory problem when failing to complete at Uttoxeter. Connections will be hoping the application of a tongue-tie solves that issue and Lucy Wadham's chaser gets another chance on the strength of his convincing success at Huntingdon in April. Abingworth was still in contention when unseating at Worcester, so he could feature with a clear round, while Trapista is noted too.

Abingworth is clearly a strong contender but the addition of a tongue-tie could be significant for HURRICANE BAY.

EMPRESS ALMA progressed nicely as she steadily edged up in distance last year and recorded the latest of three wins over this trip at Thurles in October. The Gavin Cromwell-trained filly should benefit from her reappearance behind Inchiquin Star over an extended 1m5f at Gowran and may have most to fear from Elle Dorado Rock who won over this trip at Dundalk in January and impressed last time over 1m5f at Navan with Make Good nearly seven lengths behind in fifth and Scott Lang seventh. Dark Note won a charity race at the Punchestown Festival while others to consider include Dumb Love and Allo Al Khawaneej.

An 8lb rise in the ratings may not be enough to prevent ELLE DORADO ROCK from adding to his emphatic win over 1m5f at Navan.

CARLTON has a good record at Chelmsford with five starts yielding five victories, with four of those wins coming over this trip. He does need a career best off his new mark upped in class, but still appears to have every chance. Kitty Furnival has to be of interest despite top-weight after her second at Lingfield, leaving Almudena as an interesting alternative after five top-three finishes in a row to end last year.

This can go to KITTY FURNIVAL (nap), who ran a big race in defeat behind a next-time-out winner on her seasonal debut.

CHEERFUL CHAP won twice over hurdles last year and has been a model of consistency since over fences. The Philip Rothwell-trained gelding has been placed on all five outings since returning last December and only found Canal End too good when stepping up to 3m last time in a valuable Navan handicap. Freddie Robdal returned to form when successful over a similar trip here last time, but it looks significant that Darragh O'Keeffe now partners stablemate She's A Fine Wine. Nt Field Minnesota scored on her chasing debut at Killarney last August but was let down by her jumping when disappointing on both outings since.

CHEERFUL CHAP ran a blinder in a better race than this last time out and he may be able to gain his first chase win off just 2lb higher

Having followed up her maiden triumph by completing a double on her handicap bow at Yarmouth last month, there should be more to come from JOWDDAH. A 3lb rise in the ratings looks workable for Roger Varian's filly and she edges the vote over Yokkell. The latter made a winning stable bow over C&D in April and another bold bid is forecast. Treasure is also of interest, although this drop in distance may work against her.

The four who have run this year have all run well but they face fascinating seasonal debutantes in TREASURE and Supermodel.

GENTLEMAN JOE has won both on the Flat and over hurdles and ran a cracker at Royal Ascot last year when only beaten about three lengths in fifth behind Belloccio in the Copper Horse Handicap over 1m6f. Lark In The Mornin won a two-year-old maiden here on debut but has generally been campaigned since over hurdles and won the Fred Winter at Cheltenham last year. Sorrentino won a Ballinrobe bumper in good style just over 12 months ago but is obviously not the easiest to train, while Colonia Victoria kept some good company on the Flat and comes here off the back of a maiden hurdle win at Cork.

This could be a good opportunity for maiden hurdle winner COLONIA VICTORIA who kept good company on the Flat in Germany

PHYSIQUE finishing a determined second at Newmarket on only his third start for Pam Sly. The son of Kingman won a competitive handicap off this mark at Galway last term and is taken to resume winning ways at this lower level. Palmar Bay enters calculations on his solid third at Southwell in January, while Grand Karat could pose a threat having failed to get a clear run when fourth at Newcastle last time.

Competitive. THUNDER BLUE is tactically versatile and he returns to the AW after quite possibly needing the race at Chester.

NADIA'S BOY won a point-to-point for Aidan Fitzgerald at Ballysteen last year and now makes his debut under Rules for the champion trainer. The selection is by Getaway out of a winning daughter of King's Theatre and market support would add to confidence. Gordon Elliott introduces Rapid Redemption and the Doyen gelding is from the family of two useful bumper performers, while Look And Sea is another interesting newcomer being out of the Montjeu mare Inquisitive Look who has already produced the smart Fiddlerontheroof and Ifiwerearichman. Diamond Tipp was runner-up three times in bumpers last year but disappointed here on her reappearance.

Nadia's Boy is of obvious interest but Gordon Elliott introduces a respected newcomer in RAPID REDEMPTION.

A return to a mile worked a treat for PHONE TAG when landing the spoils at Pontefract in April. The form of that race has worked out reasonably well and the four-year-old may be able to defy a 2lb rise in the ratings. Sustained arrives on the back of a solid second at Wolverhampton and, off an unchanged mark, he's feared most on this switch to turf. Last-time-out winners Diddy Man and Rising Force are also noted.

Phone Tag and Diddy Man are second and third choices behind fellow last-time-out winner RISING FORCE.

The recent winners Nogo's Dream and Spring Is Sprung like to race prominently and should ensure a fast pace. However, that could set the race up nicely for AGOSTINO. Robert Cowell's sprinter has recorded all four of his victories so far at this venue, including his latest success when giving the strong impression there was more to come. He's taken to defy a 5lb rise.

Agostino looked in fine fettle here recently but DIAMOND DREAMER also impressed in his sole C&D start in March and is preferred.

There was only a neck to separate Ciara Pearl (first) and BOWERCHALKE (second) when they met at Nottingham recently, and the latter is taken to overturn the form having challenged from a difficult position towards the rear on that occasion. The unexposed Likealot drops in class after a disappointing effort in Listed company at Newbury, while She's A Warrior has the potential to improve.

Her run in a Listed race last month didn't go to plan but LIKEALOT was an impressive C&D winner on her debut and still has potential.

WHERE'S FREDDY has been in consistent form of late on the all-weather and this appeals as an ideal opportunity following a strong runner-up effort over C&D last time out. The latter won readily at Yarmouth last time out.

The 5yo MR MISTOFFELEES is becoming frustrating but he goes in headgear this time and he'll appreciate a good gallop to chase.
