![]() Venerated |
(10) 66/1(+0%) | (10) Venerated 66/1, Bit keen and well beaten in a maiden at Curragh only start; probably needs quite a bit more to figure here Weak 25-1 chance when finishing last at the Curragh three weeks ago. |
SLANEY VIEW showed nice ability in finishing second on her debut in the season's opening race at the Curragh last month and can put that experience to good use. By a leading stallion, the selection is a half-sister to two capable winners and having been well supported when running well on her introduction, she could improve on a sounder surface. Mina Bonita's dam was a Group 3 winner who has already produced five winners, including one at Listed level, and she could be useful. Portmagee Girl's winning dam is from a fine Juddmonte family so has to enter the equation too.
Jim Bolger's SLANEY VIEW has the benefit of experience and she probably bumped into a smart one at the Curragh.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Ifan Full Pelt |
(6) 250/1(-25%) | (6) Ifan Full Pelt 250/1, Wings Of Eagles gelding; half-brother to Reign Suepreme, fair at 24f; likely outclassed on debut Has plenty of stamina in his pedigree and has a stiff task on his racecourse debut. |
TUTTI QUANTI struggled in the Supreme at Cheltenham last time but he had shown a decent level of ability prior to that, including when winning over C&D in November, and Paul Nicholls' gelding is clearly the one to beat here. Roysse was also found out at a much higher level on his most recent outing and should not be underestimated in this company, while Ben Solo and Palacio complete the shortlist.
With a strong gallop likely this could play into the hands of TUTTI QUANTI who is taken to beat Ben Solo.

(16) 200/1(+0%) | (16) Mags Collins 200/1, Below par well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Cork latest; generally out of form; not proven trip; all to do and needs this for a mark Remote fifth in a bumper at this venue on debut, poor form in three subsequent outings. |
There isn't much between three of these on ratings and SMOOTH SCOTCH may prove the pick. Stuart Crawford's charge is tried with cheekpieces now after a solid run to chase home Autoportrait at Navan just over two weeks ago. He had Butcher Hollow half a length behind him then and may be able to confirm that form. St Cuthbert's Cave has a similar profile to the other two, as he's also been knocking on the door. He was third at Cork on decent ground last time and is sure to run his race again.
On overall form, very slight preference is for BUTCHER HOLLOW who finished 1/2l behind Smooth Scotch at Navan last month

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Another Folly |
(2) 7/1(+42%) | (2) Another Folly 7/1, Looked unenthusiastic comfortably held in a handicap chase at Wincanton last time where failed to handle track; fair mark on novice form; in the mix Contender if judged on autumn form; needs to bounce back quickly from poor run on Monday. |
WALKS LIKE THE MAN won over C&D in February but was unable to follow up at Sandown next time, having been sent off as favourite. The seven-year-old is expected to bounce back eased in class, although recent Hereford scorer The Dream Goes On switches her attentions to fences for the first time and may well provide strong resistance. Brother Boris can chase the pair home.
C&D winner WALKS LIKE THE MAN returns here after running well in a much stronger race than this at Sandown last month and gets the nod.

(2) 10/11(+52%) | (2) Bodhi Bear 10/11, Progressive at two rounding off with a win at Navan over 6f by 2l; back in trip, but is quite speedy and looks the one to beat 6f maiden winner on yielding, has form over 7f on good, drop to 5f should be ok, chance. |

![]() Town And Country |
(3) 11/2(+45%) | (3) Town And Country 11/2, Probably outclassed beaten 8l in Firth Of Clyde (Group 3) over 6f at Ayr final start of 2024, but good maiden win at Navan prior to that; top course jockey; back to best trip and contender Navan maiden winner at 5f, outclassed in Gr 3 at Ayr over 6f, this C&D may not suit, watch. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Likedbymike |
(1) 7/1(-17%) | (1) Likedbymike 7/1, Ideally suited by drop back to 5f when won a maiden here by 4 1/4l last time; very progressive in three starts as a juvenile and open to further improvement Beat Passing Phase by 4.25l over C&D in Oct, jockey's claim useful, chance if fit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Smoke Them Out |
(6) 15/2(+17%) | (6) Smoke Them Out 15/2, Second beaten 1/2l in a nursery over 6f at Naas in October running probably best race; effective at 5f as a juvenile; may still be on an upward curve 1-7, course handicap winner over 6f, held by Gazelle d'Or on Bellewstown meeting, watch. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Gazelle D'or |
(10) 12/1(+25%) | (10) Gazelle D'or 12/1, Well backed when all out to win a nursery at Navan over 6f by a short-head in October; steadily progressive prior to that; 5f winner in August; may contend Won two last season, ran well in a C&D maiden last July, ground ideal, place chance if fit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Turners Cross |
(4) 16/1(-33%) | (4) Turners Cross 16/1, Ran to form second beaten a neck in a maiden at Navan (5f) final start of 2024 season; minimum trip suits and generally consistent at two; chance 0-5, highly tried last season, placed in two 5f Navan maidens, Foley prefers stablemate. |

![]() Ohmyviette |
(8) 18/1(-13%) | (8) Ohmyviette 18/1, Couple of wins on the AW, latterly by a neck in February; too keen when below that form last time; probably has a bit to find, but does have fitness edge on most of these 2-6 on the AW, has won over 5f and 6f, beaten off 88 on h'cap bow, watch on turf debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Billie Be Quick |
(9) 18/1(+0%) | (9) Billie Be Quick 18/1, Well backed when won a nursery at Down Royal by 1 1/4l final start of 2024 after solid campaign; steadily progressive, but probably bit to find here Won a 5f Down Royal handicap off 70 when last seen, Foley jumps ship, others preferred. |
The speedily-bred UNEXPECTED ISSUES looks fairly treated with a rating of 84. The sister to Castle Star notably defeated a subsequent Group 3 winner to score on debut at Navan last May and while well held afterwards, she contested two hot stakes races. The runner-up in the first of those went on to score at Group 1 level and while she disappointed over 7f at Leopardstown in September, Fozzy Stack's filly might not have stayed and drops in grade now. Likedbymike comfortably won a C&D maiden in October and although considerably worse off at the weights with that race's runner-up Passing Phase, should nonetheless compete.
Likedbymike beat PASSING PHASE over C&D last October but the runner up is much better off at the weights and has a fitness edge

NEWTON TORNADO has been knocking hard on the door of late and has chased home some smart rivals this season. The six-year-old will not find many better opportunities than this to get off the mark under Rules. Jack To Bat showed promise when third over C&D in November and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Followcato.
A chance is taken on JACK TO BAT, whose debut third in a C&D maiden hurdle in November was a strong piece of form.

(7) 16/1(-14%) | (7) Scalpnagoon 16/1, Appreciated stiff track when won an auction hurdle at Naas over 2m2f by 1 1/2l last time; steadily progressive; off a short-break; plenty more needed up in class Improving sort has to make further progress to take this, which is possible. |

![]() A Tipp For Gold |
(1) 28/1(+15%) | (1) A Tipp For Gold 28/1, Ideally suited by trip 9 1/4l third in Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle (Grade 3) at Naas most recent run; has experience edge; more needed up in grade Is held by several of these on form and looks a place prospect at best. |
WINGMEN should benefit from a drop in grade here. The Kayf Tara gelding weakened after making the running in the Albert Bartlett last month and having been pestered for the lead then he was probably doing more than he wanted in front. Dropping back now should suit and he could prove a cut above these rivals. Willie Mullins saddles three in the race and Paul Townend sides with Ballygunner Castle. He was edged out by Ballybow in Grade 3 company last time and may also appreciate dropping in trip. Fleur In The Park was slightly disappointing when last seen at Naas but may be better suited by nicer ground now.

![]() Set In The West |
(6) 14/1(+22%) | (6) Set In The West 14/1, Travelled well fourth beaten 27l in a handicap chase over 3m at Huntingdon latest; returning from long layoff; not proven trip; needs to prove ability remains Beaten ten times under rules and tried fences when last seen a year ago; 3lb wrong. |
Eliza Dolittle hasn't been able to build on December's C&D triumph, but she is just 1lb above that winning mark now and must be respected in a race of this nature. A chance can be taken on MELLERAY HILL, who might not have shown a great deal in novice/maiden company but it would come as no surprise were she to step forward now sent handicapping. Time For Tea is also noted.
A tentative vote goes to TIME FOR TEA who ran an encouraging race last time out and had previously shown promise in Ireland.

(3) 40/1(+0%) | (3) Far Above Dream 40/1, 200/1 when beaten only 4l in a maiden over 6f at The Curragh last time; that was a massive improvement on a modest debut dropped from 7f; this is a further drop in trip; fit and contender Big prices but not disgraced in two runs last year at 7f and 6f, probably one for h'caps. |

![]() Pinmoney |
(7) 50/1(+0%) | (7) Pinmoney 50/1, Couple of moderate efforts, latterly down the field in a maiden over 7f at Naas most recent; back in trip; all to do Well beaten at 200-1 on debut for this yard at Naas, drops in trip, may need more time. |
SARATOGA SPECIAL has proven expensive to follow, but contests a winnable maiden on her reappearance. All her runs have come at this distance and she notably finished second at Listed level last August. She was subsequently beaten at odds-on in a Navan maiden and while she again disappointed at Dundalk, she nonetheless showed ability in both runs. The keen-going Bobbi Rosa is herself a 5f specialist but while she should run her usual honest race on her reappearance, she might struggle to beat an on-song selection. Morally Sound rates the pick of the newcomers.
It is hard to get away from the claims of the 93 rated SARATOGA SPECIAL (nap) who has placed Listed form over this trip in the book.

(3) 15/2(+17%) | (3) Flamelco 15/2 Two wins over fences this season; not at his best last twice but not without a chance. |
PADDY IN THE CADDY disappointed at Kempton last time but the six-year-old can be given another chance as he was successful over 2m at Wincanton prior to that and is only 4lb higher here. Mount Washington is more than capable of going well if he can transfer his recent hurdles form to fences, while similar comments apply to Collingham and Followango.
Already a winner of three races over fences this season, PADDY IN THE CADDY looks to have a good opportunity to make it four.

![]() Pirate Island |
(10) 25/1(+50%) | (10) Pirate Island 25/1, Below par down the field in a handicap hurdle at Navan most recent; generally out of form; significant jockey booking; easy to look elsewhere Promising form in maidens last season;, plenty to prove now after three outings this term. |
CRESCENT MOON looks capable of scoring off this kind of mark. The Spanish Moon mare ran a solid race in a competitive contest at Leopardstown last month when fourth to Darcy's Friend and may appreciate stepping up in trip now, having been placed in a point-to-point on her debut. Aurea Fortuna has had a little break since finishing a fine third at Leopardstown over Christmas and form would suggest he wants nice ground. He could be the danger. Arctic Gale had a bit of a frustrating campaign over timber last summer but has the ability to be thereabouts in this.
Daniel King has ridden three winners since the beginning of the month and can keep up the good work on AUREA FORTUNA for Tony Martin

Anthony Honeyball and Rex Dingle have been amongst the winners lately and Public Enemy, who shaped with promise on his UK/stable debut in February, must feature prominently in calculations. Wild Goose has shown ability in a couple of bumpers but it is GOD OF FIRE who shades preference. Officially rated 85 on the level, he will be difficult to beat if taking to this new discipline. He's a half-brother to a hurdles winner.
Bohemian Breeze and God Of Fire are respected on their Flat exploits but PUBLIC ENEMY can progress from a promising hurdle debut

EASY won last year's renewal and, being lightly raced, it is encouraging that she returns to training. A smart performer with a big frame, she quickened well to win on heavy ground a little over 12 months ago and although beaten on her sole subsequent start at Longchamp in June, will have been readied for her comeback. Vespertilio has twice been placed at Group 1 level and while she is dependable and ground-versatile, makes her seasonal reappearance over a distance which is shorter than ideal. Chicago Critic would also prefer further, while King Cuan is suited by conditions but is long absent.
A chance is taken on ONE SMACK MAC whose best form is at 6f on good and he has had a sharpener on unsuitable ground at Naas.

![]() Sheeka Supreme |
(11) 16/1(+52%) | (11) Sheeka Supreme 16/1, Below par comfortably held in a handicap chase at Market Rasen last time; generally out of form; longer trip could suit; lot to find Irish point winner in 2022 but has not shown a great deal under rules this season. |
Although Pride Of Paris was somewhat underwhelming when finishing fifth on his stable bow at Chepstow in February, it's unlikely that we've seen the best from Harry Derham's gelding and an improved bid reverting to fences wouldn't surprise. However, TO BE SURE bounced back to form with a close-up second at Exeter last month and, nudged up 2lb in the ratings, he looks the one to beat. Winning pointer Chauffeur Driven could also have a say on his chase bow.
Another chance is given to PRIDE OF PARIS, who was only fifth over hurdles on his stable debut but has potential over fences.

Supreme fourth KARNIQUET looks the one to beat in this. The Kapgarde gelding ran a solid race behind star stablemate Kopek Des Bordes at Cheltenham last month, having also finished second to him at the Dublin Racing Festival, and this is an easier task now. On official ratings there isn't much between him and another stablemate, Gaucher. That Frankel gelding was impressive in Grade 3 company at Naas last time but his overall form doesn't look as strong. Willie Mullins saddles half the field and Irancy, who was seventh in the Supreme, is an unexposed sort who could have a say in this.
Willie Mullins saddles six of the 12 runners. KARNIQUET is the clear pick of the bunch on the strength of his Grade 1 form

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Betelgeuse |
(3) 50/1(+0%) | (3) Betelgeuse 50/1, Green and kept on late after it was all over on debut, but well beaten in a novice over 8f at York latest; up in trip; open to lots of improvement, but hard to recommend 165,000gns yearling; behind on both starts as 2yo and best watched for the time being. |
A comfortable winner over C&D under a penalty in February, TREMORGIO looks more than capable of maintaining his unbeaten record for leading connections. Narrowly denied over slightly shorter at Kempton in December, Renato is open to further improvement on the rise in distance, while Rock Camelot brings a strong level of form to proceedings after finishing second in a valuable maiden at Doncaster last October.
A strong field. Tremorgio has done most to establish his merit and brings potential but he could be vulnerable to NIGHTIME DANCER.

![]() Warranty |
(1) 7/2(+13%) | (1) Warranty 7/2, Well backed 8l third in a handicap hurdle here most recent run where did plenty early; multiple flat and hurdles winner; loves the track; may contend Course winner but has 7l to find with Despereaux on their recent clash here. |

![]() San Pedro |
(5) 17/2(+23%) | (5) San Pedro 17/2, Well backed when scored by 1/2l off 99 here penultimate start; pulled up in a handicap hurdle latest; vulnerable in this grade Won again here in February but he's become a very difficult horse to predict. |
DESPEREAUX found only a subsequent winner too strong over C&D last month and compensation could be on the cards. A 3lb higher mark looks fair for Jane Williams' six-year-old and he can confirm his superiority over the reopposing third Warranty. The Authorized gelding isn't taken lightly on 4lb better terms with the selection, while Shared isn't easily dismissed in this heat either.
This can go to DESPEREAUX (nap) who has turned a corner since the cheekpieces went on and he appeals as the most solid option.

ELIZABETH JANE won a Listed race on her last run of 2024 and reappears over a suitable distance. From a top Moyglare family, she finished fourth in the Irish Oaks and, being suited by easy ground, this is the starting point for what is likely to be a busy spring campaign. Comic Book stays well and finished second at Group 3 level last September, but she was beaten five lengths by the winner and lacks a little of the selection's ability. Bubble Gum, who was sixth in the French Oaks and attained a Listed placing in September, debuts for new connections and possibly needs easy ground.
Dermot Weld has been amongst the winners and this looks a good opportunity for last year's Irish Oaks fourth ELIZABETH JANE

Having posted her best effort over hurdles to date when runner-up at Musselburgh 49 days ago, JASMINE D'AIRY makes grand appeal on her handicap bow. An opening mark of 104 looks workable for the daughter of Authorized and a breakthrough victory over hurdles could be in the offing. The biggest threat may emerge from Kalista Love, who is a potential improver on the back of a wind procedure. Realta Liath is also noted.
Although yet to win over hurdles REALTA LIATH ran well when second at Wetherby last time and is preferred to Jasmine D'Airy.

(1) 33/1(+34%) | (1) Redstone 33/1, Probably needed race well beaten in a beginners chase chase over 2m1f at Navan latest; not proven trip; returning from a break; needs to show ability remains following lay off Taking a big step-up in trip for a new yard and best watched unless the market speaks. |
YOUNG LUCY has a nice weight in this and looks capable of winning off her current mark. The Lauro mare ran well in a strong contest won by Ol Man Dingle at Leopardstown over Christmas and pushing out further in trip now may help her. Born Bright was a cosy winner at Thurles last time and has to be respected. A 7lb rise for that victory doesn't look harsh. Topgun Simmy was no match for cosy winner Rokathir at Punchestown last time but it was a solid effort and he could reach the frame again.
Though yet to score over hurdles, YOUNG LUCY has been consistent lately over shorter and the step up to this trip could help her click.

![]() Fine Wine |
(14) 14/1(+36%) | (14) Fine Wine 14/1, Beaten 6l in a handicap at Musselburgh last time seen in April 2024 having been in good form before that; returning from long layoff and likely to need the run Smart at best; lightly raced last year; absent 350 days but given good weights chance. |
Denied by the narrowest of margins when looking to land the double at Wolverhampton last time out, ALMATY STAR can gain compensation on this occasion with Hollie Doyle getting back in the saddle a major plus. A 7lb rise for her most recent success at the same track will make life tougher for Cinque Verde, but she is a key player, along with the consistent Moulin Booj and Completely Random having his first start on the back of a gelding operation.
Brave Nation returns to action with his yard going well but COMPLETELY RANDOM is a fascinating contender dropped to 5f.

Having finished second at Sedgefield on Thursday, Tara Iti must enter calculations racing off an unchanged mark. However, those exertions may have left their mark and preference is for ARENAS DEL TIEMPO. The daughter of Footstepsinthesand offered plenty of encouragement when runner-up at Fakenham last month and she's open to improvement on just her fifth appearance in this sphere. Hardy Buck is the pick of the remainder.
Arenas Del Tiempo has possibilities in only her second handicap but TARA ITI has had excuses since his comfortable Huntingdon win.

(13) 28/1(-12%) | (13) Widely Acclaimed 28/1, Ground probably too testing down the field in a maiden at Curragh most recently and only minor promise on the AW before that; probably has a bit to find Penultimate run wasn't devoid of promise and handicaps are now the way forward. |
First time out this season might be the best time to catch RION RUBETTE. Runner-up on her racecourse debut at Navan, the Michael Butler-trained filly followed that up with a similar effort at Naas on her next appearance. Although unable to match those performances in three subsequent starts, she was highly tried in Listed class on one of those occasions. Bred to appreciate this step up in trip, she is interesting on her handicap debut. Unique Journey has to be of interest under Colin Keane. Third on his seasonal reappearance at Naas last month, the Danny Murphy-trained gelding proved his stamina for this distance when runner-up at Galway in October. Iceford is another worthy of consideration.
A good few in here look open to further improvement on their handicap debuts and ICEFORD falls into that category.

HOLESHOT continues to go from strength to strength and going back up in trip should not inconvenience as he looks to follow up on his recent Warwick success off 8lb higher. That may be at the main expense of Copper Jack, who was a major improver after wind surgery when scoring easily over slightly shorter at Chepstow last month for which he has been raised 9lb. Runner-up on two of his three last starts, Fils De Roi must also enter calculations for in-form connections.
While cases can be constructed for some of the others, the last-time-out winners Holeshot and COPPER JACK (nap) stand out.

Having caught the eye staying on strongly to finish third at Leopardstown last time, OAKLEY can make the breakthrough over hurdles. A dual winner on the Flat, the Tony Mullins-trained gelding has long given the impression that he is well treated in this discipline. With the jumping issues that had blighted his earlier runs appearing to have been ironed out on his most recent start, the seven-year-old can get his head in front. The John McConnell-trained Mooretown Lad is an interesting contender on his handicap debut. Successful on the level for previous connections, an opening mark of 86 looks lenient. Top-weight Blue Reed also enters calculations.
Raised 3lb having been just denied at Clonmel last time on handicap debut, BHEAN SAIBHRE can go one better.

![]() Strike Red |
(7) 18/1(+0%) | (7) Strike Red 18/1, Below par beaten 3 1/2l off 99 at Doncaster last time; returning from a break; probably high enough in weights York win last October (6f, soft) is strong form; back from a break and drawn wide today. |
An eye-catcher when almost getting up to score at Kempton last week, ARAMRAM is likely to come on plenty for that effort and he can strike on the rise in grade off bottom weight. A comfortable winner on his first start in 147 days at Lingfield last month, Ferrous is entitled to be thereabout again off 4lb higher, as well as old rival Holkham Bay, who ended a profitable season last year with success at Ascot. Purosangue and Wiltshire are classy sorts returning the action for leading connections and cannot be ruled out either.
Holkham Bay and Aramram are high on the list but the talented WILTSHIRE (nap) can take this before going on to better things.

There was plenty of encouragement to be taken from AJ'S DIAMOND's debut second at Warwick 44 days ago and she sets a good standard. Nicky Henderson has a fine record with his bumper horses at this venue (5-13), so Rules debutant Girlfromtheglen merits respect. Jack N Jones is well bred and the six-year-old warrants a check in the market for a shrewd yard.
The winner didn't exactly frank the form at Aintree on Thursday but AJ'S DIAMOND shaped with significant promise at Warwick.

![]() Spanish Temptress |
(13) 125/1(+50%) | (13) Spanish Temptress 125/1, Well beaten in a maiden over 8f at Dundalk only start; returning from a break; back in trip; plenty more needed Friendless 125-1 chance when a remote last of the 16 runners at Dundalk in November (1m). |
With the Dermot Weld string having made an encouraging start to the campaign, BELLA ISABELLA is taken to open her account. Having run very green on her racecourse debut at Leopardstown in October, the filly showed the benefit of that experience when runner-up at Dundalk in February. Well drawn here, the daughter of Wootton Bassett can make the most of that advantage. Newcomer Sapphire Princess has to be of interest for the Ger Lyons stable. Her trainer introduced a couple of smart debutants at this venue last season so it would be no surprise to see this filly run a big race. The experienced Temperance is another to note.
It might pay to risk one of the newcomers and SAPPHIRE PRINCESS is bred to be decidedly useful. Mittens has a Classic entry.

![]() Illico Du Breuil |
(11) 40/1(+20%) | (11) Illico Du Breuil 40/1, Pulled up in a novice hurdle over 2m4f here latest; not proven trip; returning from a break; bit to find on chase debut Pulled up in two slow-ground hurdles in the autumn; 4lb wrong for chase/handicap debut. |
BUMPY EVANS improved from first to second start in this sphere when scoring comfortably at Leicester last time out and a 6lb rise may not be enough to stop him from going in again. Stablemate Palawan Du Mazet got off the mark with a taking success at Taunton in February and he is entitled to be thereabouts along with Pescatorius and Walkinthewoods.
Too strong for a dual subsequent winner when scoring on his chasing debut, PALAWAN DU MAZET can overcome a 7lb rise.

Despite having a bit to prove following her reversal at the Dublin Racing Festival, FUTURE PROSPECT is given another chance. A former point-to-point winner, the Willie Mullins-trained mare made a winning Rules debut here in December. Although only fifth on her latest outing, the daughter of Order Of St George raced keenly before weakening. The application of a first-time hood could see her in a much better light. Two places ahead of the selection at Leopardstown, Carrigmoornaspruce rates a serious threat. A dual bumper winner, the Declan Queally-trained mare knows where the winning line is. Switch From Diesel also holds claims.
In a rematch of a DRF Grade 2, third-placed CARRIGMOORNASPRUCE may reverse form with the more exposed second Switch From Diesel

Cases can be made for all of these but none more so than INFANTRY OFFICER, who has won both of his handicap starts in impressive fashion. Even off a 9lb higher mark than last time, Michael Bell's gelding is hard to oppose now bidding for a hat-trick. Ray Gun has filled second place on all three starts since winning at Kempton in February and is likely to be in the mix again in first-time cheekpieces, while Patrol completes the shortlist.
After his two wins at Wolverhampton in March, a hat-trick beckons for INFANTRY OFFICER. Scarlet Moon is feared most, on pedigree.

(2) 9/2(+36%) | (2) Cradle Of Love 9/2, Solid form in Ireland and did not get a clear run when beaten 4 1/4l in a 2yo race over 6f at Dundalk last time; first time on Tapeta; up in trip; returning from a break; may contend 0-10 for Joseph O'Brien as a 2yo; interesting to see how she gets on for her new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Shwaimah |
(5) 13/2(-30%) | (5) Shwaimah 13/2, Showed promise when runner-up beaten 1 1/2l in a novice at Newcastle only start; returning from a break; likely to do better and ought to be thereabouts Runner-up on her Newcastle debut in November; big player if building on that. |

(8) 7/1(-100%) | (8) Tuesdays Child 7/1, Zoustar filly; half-sister to Alkaamel, smart at 7f; dam unraced sister to Fame And Glory; top trainer; very interesting Attractive pedigree and stable often gets them ready first time; respected. |

![]() Tapioca Pearl |
(6) 11/1(+67%) | (6) Tapioca Pearl 11/1, Met trouble in running when well beaten in a novice at Kempton only start; difficult to fancy, but could improve markedly with a clear passage Last of ten on her Kempton debut in November; major improvement required. |

(9) 18/1(+10%) | (9) Wonderbolt 18/1, Stayed on for minor promise in third on debut and running on when met traffic second start; open to marked improvement here; chance Out of the frame in both starts, but has very much caught the eye on each occasion. |

![]() Gigi Bliss |
(3) 40/1(-60%) | (3) Gigi Bliss 40/1, Had benefited for debut experience beaten 8 1/2l in a novice at Kempton last time; bit more to find, but going in the right direction and not a no-hoper Unplaced in both starts; may not come into her own until tackling handicaps over further. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() The Third Star |
(7) 50/1(-52%) | (7) The Third Star 50/1, Didn't get the clearest run when beaten 6 1/4l in a novice at Chelmsford on debut; bit to find on that, but obviously open to improvement Finished in midfield on her Chelmsford debut in November; may need a bit more time. |
Shwaimah is the pick of those with race experience following her second on debut at Newcastle in November. However, a chance can be taken on BLUE BOLT, who cost 400,000 euros as a yearling and is a half-sister to a pair of Listed winners. Tuesdays Child is another noteworthy newcomer, while Cradle Of Love should not be discounted on her debut for Ollie Sangster.
The two newcomers very much catch the eye and slight preference is for TUESDAYS CHILD, whose stable often gets them ready first time.

![]() Bellarchi |
(2) 3/1(+40%) | (2) Bellarchi 3/1, Game when landed handicap by a head off 78 here last time; enjoys making it; remains very well treated on old form; could follow up 2-2 around here and may step up again from her successful return over C&D last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Viennoise |
(5) 7/2(-5%) | (5) Viennoise 7/2, Beaten 3/4l off 78 here last time; that best handicap effort to date; not fully exposed at 1m; threat Beaten less than a length into third of six behind two of these over C&D last month. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Gaiety Musical |
(4) 11/2(-10%) | (4) Gaiety Musical 11/2, Well backed when scored by 1 1/4l off 70 over 9f at Wolverhampton in January; beaten in Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes (Listed) last time having missed the break; this more suitable; each way player A head behind Bellarchi over C&D last month, but her old rival was making her reappearance. |

![]() Del Ray |
(9) 9/1(+10%) | (9) Del Ray 9/1, Weak in the market beaten 6l in a nursery over 7f here last time where went too fast; in good form prior; up in trip; place claims back from break Turf winner and twice placed on AW last year; makes stable debut; market informative. |

![]() Liv My Life |
(7) 12/1(+25%) | (7) Liv My Life 12/1, Below par beaten 4 1/4l in a handicap over 7f at Lingfield last time given lots to do; generally out of form; not proven trip; others appeal more Paid for her emphatic win here in January; mark is dropping but still has stamina to prove. |
BELLARCHI was able to exploit a lower all-weather mark when defeating the reopposing Gaiety Musical (second) over C&D on her reappearance last month. Grant Tuer's filly is now two from three on an artificial surface and, with the prospect of more to come, a 2lb rise should be no barrier to further success. The form of Eazy On The Eye's most recent Wolverhampton triumph has worked out well and she's entitled to plenty of respect now sent handicapping, while others to note include Viennoise and Happy To Fly.
The vote goes to BELLARCHI who had three of these behind when making a successful reappearance over C&D last month.

![]() Thunder Wonder |
(5) 15/2(+46%) | (5) Thunder Wonder 15/2, Below par comfortably held in a nursery over 7f at Doncaster last time where something amiss; usually consistent; trainer in form; first race on AW; up in trip; faces stiff task on return Dam won on the AW in France but he still has plenty to prove back from seven months off. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Molveno |
(2) 9/1(-13%) | (2) Molveno 9/1, Well backed when landed handicap by 1 1/4l off 83 at Newcastle penultimate start completing hat trick; beaten in a 3yo race last time; contender down in grade back in a handicap Completed a hat-trick before out of his depth in a warm contest last time; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Tilted Kilt |
(4) 11/1(-38%) | (4) Tilted Kilt 11/1, Well backed beaten a neck off 80 at Kempton last time; first time on Tapeta; consistent; should show some improvement but needs to in hot contest Returns from six months off having been gelded and may find a few too good. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() Joseph |
(8) 20/1(-11%) | (8) Joseph 20/1, Ran to form beaten 1/2l in a novice here last time; in good form prior; opening mark potentially lenient; each way shout; market good guide given yard Not beaten far in his last two starts over C&D, but 0-6 and doesn't seem to be progressing. |
This is competitive and only a tentative vote can go to DIVIDEND. The son of Kodiac recorded a comfortable success over track and trip on his return to action in February and although 5lb higher today, the three-year-old looks almost certain to have more in his locker. Molveno struggled in a conditions event at Kempton recently but he's respected back in a handicap. Tremolo and Tilted Kilt are just two others that warrant closer inspection.
This can go to DIVIDEND who looked a progressive sort when making a winning reappearance over C&D last month.
Ths is the racecard key.
