5Jorge RuizMark ShumanPlaced in three of 13 starts. Well beaten at 9-2 behind Zihuatanejo when last of 8 on his latest outing at Laurel Park over 1m (good) last month. Not at his best that day and better judged on his July second in a better race than this.
(11) Lyla's Lucky Boy
4Mario FuentesMartin ParamoDam unraced. Well beaten at 33-1 behind Broadcaster when last of 6 on his racecourse debut at Gulfstream over 1m last month after a slow start. More needed here but expected to improve for the experience.

British Sea and Oconee Life ran decent races when close-up seconds last time out and they may dominate the market, but the dropped-in-class DOMINGUEZ seems the more sensible call. Eased last time out in a race best ignored, his July second in a much stronger contest would give him every chance.

With four of these a winner last time out, this looks highly competitive, but that should not worry STAGE CALL, who won readily enough in May, despite that being her first start of the season. She proved she goes well fresh so the three-month break is of no concern and may see her home ahead of Wilma Flintshire, Cover The Spread and Chez Soleil.
