1st (3) (2/1 +11%) Corbetts Cross |
2/1(+11%) | (3) Corbetts Cross 2/1, Useful winner at 24f over hurdles. Promising third of 9 in novice chase (11/10) at Naas (20f, soft) on debut over fences 20 days ago. Seems sure to build on that and holds leading claims. Best of these hurdling but needs to improve on an underwhelming recent chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (12) (7/4 +47%) Three Card Brag |
7/4(+47%) | (12) Three Card Brag 7/4, Useful hurdler who kept good company last term. Off 7 months. Makes chase debut and sort to do well for his in-form stable. 138-rated novice hurdler last term, winning here; has to respected on chase debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (10/1 -18%) Monty's Star |
10/1(-18%) | (9) Monty's Star 10/1, Lightly-raced but useful winner over hurdles at Clonmel in February. Off 8 months. Makes chase debut and one to consider. Grade 3-winning novice hurdler last term; half-brother to smart chaser Monalee. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (11) (5/2 -67%) Nick Rockett |
5/2(-67%) | (11) Nick Rockett 5/2, Points winner who readily made it 2-2 over hurdles at Fairyhouse (2m4f) in April. Off 7 months but rates an interesting chasing debutant. Really progressive in light hurdling campaign; potentially high-class novice chaser. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (18/1 +0%) Aime Desjy |
18/1(+0%) | (1) Aime Desjy 18/1, Useful winner at 16f over hurdles. Good third of 6 in minor event hurdle at Sligo (17.5f, soft, 9/2) 36 days ago. Makes chase debut. Up in trip. Yard having good spell. Considered. 130-rated novice hurdler now switches to fences and has to be respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (50/1 -127%) Cadatharla |
50/1(-127%) | (2) Cadatharla 50/1, Useful hurdler. Winner in hurdle at Naas in January. Respectable fourth of 19 in handicap hurdle at this course (21.7f, soft, 7/2). Off 7 months. Much respected on his chase debut. 128-rated hurdler potentially decent novice chaser but Mark Walsh prefers Corbetts Cross. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (80/1 -142%) Karuma Grey |
80/1(-142%) | (8) Karuma Grey 80/1, Fairly useful winner at 16f over hurdles. 5/1, fourth of 8 in novice chase at Punchestown (15.6f, soft) on debut over fences 16 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Possibilities. 121-rated hurdler and promising chase debut at Punchestown but more required here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (28/1 -133%) My Immortal |
28/1(-133%) | (10) My Immortal 28/1, Useful winner at 25f over hurdles. 15/2, good second of 15 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (23.9f, good to soft). Off 12 months. Makes chase debut. Market can guide. 134-rated staying hurdler; back from year's absence for chasing debut and tough ask. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (5) (50/1 -127%) Good Time Jonny |
50/1(-127%) | (5) Good Time Jonny 50/1, Promising sort. 11/2, creditable fourth of 22 in handicap hurdle at Aintree (24.7f, good), finishing with running left. Off 7 months. Switches from hurdles to chase. Should improve. Smart staying hurdler but needs to jump much better than on two previous chase runs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (7) (150/1 -88%) Jump The Shark |
150/1(-88%) | (7) Jump The Shark 150/1, Fair hurdler. Tenth of 12 in novice chase at Navan (17f, heavy, 80/1) on debut over fences 14 days ago. Up in trip with lots more needed. Limited enough hurdler gathering more experience over fences here but owner's third-choice. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (13) (150/1 -127%) Kates Hill |
150/1(-127%) | (13) Kates Hill 150/1, Fair hurdler. Eighth of 12 in novice chase at Navan (17f, heavy, 100/1) 14 days ago. Up in trip with work to do. Dual point-to-point winner easily opposed on evidence of two recent efforts over fences. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (6) (250/1 +17%) Howishedizzy |
250/1(+17%) | (6) Howishedizzy 250/1, Thrice-raced maiden under NH rules. Last of 9 in novice chase (250/1) at Naas (20f, soft) on debut over fences 20 days ago. Tailed off (jumped novicey) on last month's chasing debut at Naas; easily passed over. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (250/1 -25%) Finnfaraway |
250/1(-25%) | (4) Finnfaraway 250/1, Sixth of 11 in novice chase (200/1) at Thurles (22f, soft) on NH debut 9 days ago. Needs to build on it. Maiden pointer well held on recent chase debut. |

Corbetts Cross, Three Card Brag, Good Time Jonny and NICK ROCKETT all showed a similar level of form over hurdles last season and jumping will prove key here in determining a pecking order over fences. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding progressed rapidly last term, winning a bumper and maiden hurdle before impressing here in a 2m4f Grade 2 when drawing right away in the closing stages. Corbetts Cross also won a Grade 2 over hurdles and went off favourite for the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham when running out at the final flight. He should benefit from a run over fences at Naas last month, while Three Card Brag won twice over hurdles last season, including at this venue. Good Time Jonny won the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham but has shown little on both previous chase outings, while Monty's Star and My Immortal are others to note in what should prove a highly informative race.
Lots of potential on show, not least in the shape of Emmet Mullins' useful winning hurdler CORBETTS CROSS and he is fancied to build on his promising chase debut Naas third and win the first of many races over fences. Both Nick Rockett and Three Card Brag are in excellent hands and make plenty of chasing appeal so can have a say too in a cracking contest.
A high-class beginners' chase in which NICK ROCKETT gets the vote, ahead of Monty's Star and Three Card Brag

1st (3) (3/1 -20%) Snowy Evening |
3/1(-20%) | (3) Snowy Evening 3/1, Promising sort who has run creditably in both starts over fences, latest when third of 9 in handicap (10/3) at Wetherby (24.2f, heavy) 28 days ago. Likely has more to offer yet. Placed in first two chases, despite some rather sketchy jumping on both occasions. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (10) (11/4 +73%) Bring The Action |
11/4(+73%) | (10) Bring The Action 11/4, Sole success came in Wetherby handicap chase (24.2f) early in 2022. Just the one decent effort last season and well held over hurdles on return but potentially on a good mark back in this sphere. Good second in this race a year ago but not much has gone to plan since; revival needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (11) (28/1 -100%) The Electrician |
28/1(-100%) | (11) The Electrician 28/1, Dual winner over shorter last season but more recent efforts have lacked verve and switch to new yard seemed to have little impact at Hexham last month. Cheekpieces back on. Has ground excuse for disappointing stable debut but others appeal more all the same. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (14/1 -75%) Game Socks |
14/1(-75%) | (1) Game Socks 14/1, Dual winner over hurdles who got off the mark at third attempt in this sphere when taking 6-runner handicap at Worcester (23f, good to soft) in June of 2022. Not seen since, though, and market may prove best guide to claims on return. Had wind operation. Off the mark over fences at Worcester in summer 2022 but not seen again since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (5) (5/1 +50%) Betterforeveryone |
5/1(+50%) | (5) Betterforeveryone 5/1, Got off the mark at Bangor (23f) over hurdles on return last year but couldn't really build on that and never threatened when last of 3 finishers on chase debut at Warwick last month. Cheekpieces on first time. Tailed off before inheriting modest third on seasonal/chase debut; cheekpieces added here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (4) (15/2 +6%) Creative Control |
15/2(+6%) | (4) Creative Control 15/2, Back to winning ways in 7-runner handicap chase at Uttoxeter (20f) in September. Fortunate on that occasion given leader unseated late and not been in quite same form since. Tries longer trip now. Tongue strap on first time. Fortunate to win at Uttoxeter three starts ago and safely held twice since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (10/3 +17%) Head On |
10/3(+17%) | (8) Head On 10/3, Won 3 times (at up to 25.5f) in the early stages of the 2021-22 season and clearly derived considerable benefit from his comeback run (off 19 months) when second of 7 in handicap chase at this course (24f, good) 15 days ago. Visor back on. Enters calculations. Ran big race from the front when second over 3m here a fortnight ago; major player. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
This looks a good opportunity for SNOWY EVENING to make it third-time lucky over fences following successive placed efforts at Chepstow and Wetherby. The six-year-old hasn't jumped with any real fluency on either occasion but if he brushes up in that department, his present mark is clearly exploitable. Game Socks, a winner at Worcester when last seen, would be an obvious danger if tuned up after a long absence. Head On showed enough when runner-up here recently to suggest he'll be in the firing line too.
SNOWY EVENING has made an encouraging start to his chasing career and it's likely we haven't seen the best of him yet. He can get off the mark. Head On and Art Decco should also go well.
Preference is for HEAD ON, who is still on a good mark after running well in defeat over 3m here a fortnight ago.

1st (1) (8/11 +68%) Manimole |
8/11(+68%) | (1) Manimole 8/11, Has been on the go all year but nevertheless showed much improved form to win 11-runner C&D novice (good to soft) 23 days ago, clear approaching last and staying on strongly. Carries a 3 lb penalty but still the one to beat. Splendidly tough mare; third hurdles win came over C&D three weeks ago; the one to beat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (50/1 -525%) Brave Jen |
50/1(-525%) | (3) Brave Jen 50/1, Kayf Tara mare who displayed some promise in bumpers but made novicey mistakes when comfortably held on last month's hurdling debut at Plumpton. Big step forward required. Has looked one of her yard's lesser lights so far, unplaced in bumpers and a maiden hurdle. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (22/1 -238%) Mary |
22/1(-238%) | (5) Mary 22/1, Yeats filly who showed plenty of promise when placed in bumpers at Warwick and Cheltenham last spring and made an encouraging hurdling debut after 6 months off when third at Huntingdon (15.8f) 18 days ago. Likely to improve. Fair start over hurdles when third at Huntingdon; improvement is possible but necessary. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (17/2 -113%) Belle Of Annandale |
17/2(-113%) | (2) Belle Of Annandale 17/2, Fair maiden on Flat for Keith Dalgleish and ran to a similar level in getting off the mark immediately switched to hurdles at Perth in August. Poor effort at Hexham 3 weeks later but got back on the up when running out a clear-cut winner at Musselburgh last month and has solid claims up in grade. 2-3 over hurdles, best effort when winning in clearcut style at Musselburgh; in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (4/1 -33%) Mighty Moth |
4/1(-33%) | (6) Mighty Moth 4/1, Placed in bumpers and showed some aptitude for hurdling when third of 12 in 10-runner novice (10/1) at Ascot (15.7f, good to soft) 28 days ago. That form has been franked since and she's an interesting contender up in grade with improvement on the cards. Showed promise in bumpers and when third in Ascot novice hurdle; not without a chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (9/2 +18%) Isabella Bee |
9/2(+18%) | (4) Isabella Bee 9/2, Has improved plenty for the switch to handicaps, completing a hat-trick in 14-runner event at Taunton (19f, good to soft) 16 days ago, driven out. This demands more but she's clearly on an upward curve. Three handicap wins this autumn and doesn't have that much to find on ratings. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.
MANIMOLE was an impressive 15-length winner over C&D last month and the second from that contest has subsequently won well herself. With that in mind, Nigel Twiston-Davies' six-year-old should be hard to beat again, despite the step up in grade. Belle Of Annandale could prove to be the main threat following her success at Musselburgh, although Isabella Bee should not be discounted.
MIGHTY MOTH showed an aptitude for hurdling behind a pair of expensive recruits from the pointing field at Ascot 4 weeks ago and, with that form already working out, she's taken to cause a minor surprise up in grade. Manimole is a leading player judged on last month's C&D win, while Belle of Annandale is also feared following a clear-cut success at Musselburgh.
Not a vintage running of this Listed race and the likeable MANIMOLE may be able to defy a small penalty for a convincing C&D success.

1st (2) (9/1 -29%) So Des Flos |
9/1(-29%) | (2) So Des Flos 9/1, Fairly useful winner at 21f over hurdles. 14/1, failed to build on his chasing debut when fifth of 9 in beginners chase at Naas (20f, soft) 20 days ago. Makes handicap chase debut and would be foolish to ignore for a yard going great guns. Stiff task latest in strong beginners; inexperience a possible negative entering handicaps. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (7/2 +71%) Sweet Will |
7/2(+71%) | (5) Sweet Will 7/2, Fairly useful winner at 24f over hurdles. 4/1, pulled up in handicap chase at this course (24.5f, soft) 8 weeks ago, folding tamely home turn. First run for yard after leaving Gavin Patrick Cromwell. Worth a look in the market given connections. Pulled up here in October but remains potentially well-handicapped over fences; new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (5/1 +33%) Where's Frankie |
5/1(+33%) | (7) Where's Frankie 5/1, Reeled off a big-field hat-trick over both hurdles and fences at this venue early in 2022. 6/5, failed to meet expectations when fourth of 13 in handicap chase at this C&D (good to soft) 20 months ago but retains the potential to do better provided all is well. In fine form here in early 2022; 20 months absent but market support should be heeded. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (9) (16/5 -16%) Reddys Island |
16/5(-16%) | (9) Reddys Island 16/5, Career best when winning 9-runner handicap chase (6/4) at Thurles (22f, good to soft) 2 days ago. Had to work hard to get the job done on Thursday, so that tempers enthusiasm somewhat here under a penalty. Good winner over the trip at Thurles on Thursday; interesting if turning out again quickly. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (18/1 -227%) Where It All Began |
18/1(-227%) | (1) Where It All Began 18/1, Acquitted himself pretty well on first 3 starts switched to fences last season. Ran no sort of race on handicap debut at Ayr (24.1f, good) when last seen in April but would be folly to discount back on these shores. Let down by jumping in Ayr novices' handicap latest; questions to answer on return. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (8/1 +20%) Weihnachts |
8/1(+20%) | (6) Weihnachts 8/1, Course winner. 17/2, shaped as if retaining ability after 4 months off when third of 9 in handicap chase at this course (24.3f, heavy) 8 days ago. Task is now to build on that effort. Didn't quite stay 3m after racing keenly here 8 days ago; back in trip and major claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (7/1 +50%) Rebellious Gale |
7/1(+50%) | (8) Rebellious Gale 7/1, 13/2, again shaped better than the bare result when seventh of 19 in handicap hurdle at Tipperary (24.3f, good to soft) 7 months ago, too far back to launch a proper challenge. Switches from hurdles to chase. Probably best watched on reappearance. Absent since May and may need this; only second chase start. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (3) (10/1 -25%) Mount Brown |
10/1(-25%) | (3) Mount Brown 10/1, Fairly useful winner at 16f over hurdles. 13/2, creditable fourth of 9 in handicap chase at Down Royal (16.4f, soft) 22 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Not really progressing at 2m, tried upped in trip now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (4) (14/1 -75%) Tempo Chapter Two |
14/1(-75%) | (4) Tempo Chapter Two 14/1, Thirteen runs since last win in 2022. Respectable fifth of 11 in beginners chase at Wexford (16f, heavy, 12/1) 15 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Not taken lightly. Fair form in five chase starts without looking progressive; more needed. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Gordon Elliott holds a strong hand with three runners and REDDYS ISLAND could provide the Cullentra team with yet another winner if making a quick reappearance. The mare has returned in good form this season and was patiently ridden to score over a similar trip at Thurles on Thursday. Where It All Began could take a hand if brushing up his jumping, while Limerick maiden hurdle winner So Des Flos has kept some good company over fences and now makes his handicap debut. Mount Brown is unproven over this trip, while Where's Frankie won three times here early last year but reappears after a lengthy absence. Sweet Will progressed well for Gavin Cromwell last season, winning three times over hurdles and also going close over fences, but has changed yards recently after losing his way.
Cases can be made for several, but the vote goes to WHERE'S FRANKIE, who rattled off a big-field hat-trick at the start of 2022 and provided he's ready to roll after 20 months off, Karl Thornton's 7-y-o retains the potential to do better. Second choice is Tempo Chapter Two, who has made a sound start to his chasing career and the step back up in trip could be just what's required. Where It All Began and Sweet Will can fight out third spot.
Thursday's Thurles winner Reddys Island is very interesting but it could pay to side with the experienced WEIHNACHTS

1st (9) (9/2 +72%) Mister Moodles |
9/2(+72%) | (9) Mister Moodles 9/2, Made the frame both starts in bumpers last season but finished well held on switch to hurdling at Sedgefield last month. Made the frame in two bumpers last season but made low-key hurdle debut last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (10) (11/8 +66%) Sea Grey |
11/8(+66%) | (10) Sea Grey 11/8, Fairly useful performer on Flat, making the frame 3 times for David O'Meara this year. Has to be of interest on hurdling debut for new yard, particularly if market speaks in his favour. Fairly useful Flat-racer at up to 2m; with good stable for hurdling career; interesting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (11/2 +78%) Daaris |
11/2(+78%) | (4) Daaris 11/2, Fair Flat winner but finished well held on switch to hurdling at Market Rasen 16 days ago. Low-grade Flat winner; not disgraced on hurdling debut; more needed here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (6/1 +57%) Cuban Court |
6/1(+57%) | (3) Cuban Court 6/1, Made a winning debut in 4-runner Fontwell bumper in April 2022 and showed even better form in defeat after a year off when runner-up at this course next time. However, proved disappointing since, including on hurdles bow last month. Made promising start to career in bumpers but was pulled up on recent hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (11) (33/1 +0%) Tufton Avenue |
33/1(+0%) | (11) Tufton Avenue 33/1, Successful in match on sole points outing but never really threatened in a couple of bumpers last year and is best watched on hurdles debut for new connections here. Ran okay in Aintree bumper in May 2022; absent since lesser effort later that month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (11/1 +67%) Lawmans Blis |
11/1(+67%) | (8) Lawmans Blis 11/1, Modest Flat winner who makes limited appeal on yard/jumps debut in first time hood. 1m4f AW winner in September; makes stable/hurdle debut here; not the most obvious answer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (25/1 +0%) King Of The Road |
25/1(+0%) | (7) King Of The Road 25/1, Easy to back before finishing eleventh of 13 in bumper at Newbury (16.3f, soft) on NH debut 23 days ago, pulling hard. Looks to be stable's second string on hurdles bow. Tailed off in Newbury bumper on rules debut; stable's other one has much stronger claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (150/1 -200%) Cave Bleu |
150/1(-200%) | (2) Cave Bleu 150/1, Showed more than previously when third in small-field bumper at Market Rasen in May but is likely best watched on hurdles bow here. Did not achieve much when third of four in very weak novice hurdle in June. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (15/2 +46%) Jean De Monts |
15/2(+46%) | (6) Jean De Monts 15/2, Showed some ability when sixth in 2m minor event on only outing on Flat in France and is worth monitoring in market on hurdles debut for excellent yard. Some some ability on French Flat debut; probably best watched on British/hurdle debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Ben Pauling's point-to-point recruit PERSONAL AMBITION shaped with considerable promise when scoring on his hurdling debut at Warwick and it's hard to believe he isn't up to defying a penalty in this company, with improvement in the tank. For all that, Sea Grey, a 75-rated Flat performer for David O'Meara, looks an interesting newcomer to hurdles now with Donald McCain, while the selection's stablemate King Of The Road appeared to run too badly to be true on his recent introduction in a bumper at Newbury.
Warwick winner PERSONAL AMBITION looks to have been found a good opportunity to double his tally and can take full advantage. Hurdling debutants Sea Grey and Jean de Monts may provide the chief threat.
It's difficult to oppose PERSONAL AMBITION, who won in good style at Warwick last month and can overcome a penalty.

1st (7) (6/4 +40%) Inch House |
6/4(+40%) | (7) Inch House 6/4, Lightly-raced winner over hurdles who confirmed promise of his chase debut effort when winning 11-runner handicap at this course (23.4f, good to soft) 23 days ago. 10 lb higher now but further improvement looks on the cards. Up 10lb after win here; very lightly raced and a strong candidate for further improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (10) (12/1 -20%) Lord Baddesley |
12/1(-20%) | (10) Lord Baddesley 12/1, Won over hurdles/fences at Plumpton last season and made a pleasing return at same course in October. Underperformed latest, though, and finds himself in a deeper contest now. Disappointing favourite in a warm 2m4f handicap at this course in March; ran poorly latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (7/1 -27%) Killer Kane |
7/1(-27%) | (6) Killer Kane 7/1, Impressed when landing a gamble at Kempton (24f) in February and continued in good heart subsequently, signing last season off with a fine third in Topham Chase at Aintree. Shaped as if needing his Wincanton return 5 weeks ago and can make his presence felt. 3m2f seemed to play a part in reappearance loss; on the premises if he's back to his best. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (11) (12/1 -33%) Java Point |
12/1(-33%) | (11) Java Point 12/1, Posted creditable third (off 5 lb higher) in this event last term but his form was rather mixed thereafter and he ran poorly when last seen at Aintree in May. Something to prove on return for new yard here. Good record at this track, including third in this race last year off 5lb higher; new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (8/1 +20%) Jay Jay Reilly |
8/1(+20%) | (2) Jay Jay Reilly 8/1, Won twice (at up to 18f) over fences last term and shaped better than distance beaten when third of 7 at Kempton (18f, good) on return 41 days ago. Entitled to build on that and is worth a crack at this longer trip. Respectable latest; probably stays 2m4f but usually seen at shorter and below form at 2m5f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (12) (20/1 -43%) Cap Du Nord |
20/1(-43%) | (12) Cap Du Nord 20/1, Grand servant to connections but out of sorts in recent months, return of headgear making little difference when well beaten at Haydock 7 days ago. Won this event 3 years ago but hard to envisage a repeat based on current form. Down the weights; 2m6f looks too short and it does not look like he's coming to the boil. |

7th (9) (3/1 +60%) Way Out |
3/1(+60%) | (9) Way Out 3/1, Irish point winner who won all 3 starts over hurdles this season and built on an encouraging start in this sphere when 5½ lengths third of 11 to Inch House at this course (23.4f, good to soft, 10/1) 23 days ago. Entitled to go well again although it's hard to see him reversing that form. Good third at Cheltenham (2m4f) and Newbury (2m7f; to Inch House) in his two chases. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (10/1 +17%) Kapga De Lily |
10/1(+17%) | (4) Kapga De Lily 10/1, Won 5 chases in 2020/21 and upped her game further the following season, including winning the same event at Hereford off 24 lb higher mark. Wasn't quite at same level last term but has had a wind operation since last seen and yard could hardly be in better form. Wind surgery in October; stable in red-hot form; some respite from the handicapper. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.
NASSALAM caught the eye when staying on into fourth on his seasonal return in the Grand Sefton at Aintree three weeks ago and Gary Moore's gelding could be hard to stop with the benefit of that outing under his belt. Inch House created a big impression when scoring over 2m7f here last month, although a 10lb rise for that success has to be a slight concern. Killer Kane edges out Jay Jay Reilly to be best of the rest.
Preference is for KAPGA DE LILY, who has an excellent record fresh and returns just 2 lb above her last winning mark. Inch House won with something in hand here last month and is feared most, whilst course winner Nassalam is also respected after his encouraging return at Aintree last month.
After only one point-to-point and five races under rules, INCH HOUSE (nap) is the standout candidate to find significant improvement.

1st (2) (4/7 +87%) Ballygeary |
4/7(+87%) | (2) Ballygeary 4/7, Very positive start to his hurdles career at the beginning of 2023, again going with plenty of zest when completing the hat-trick in novice company at Kelso in March. Returned with good third of 18 in Cheltenham handicap (16.4f, good) 36 days ago and must enter calculations off same mark. 3-5 over hurdles and was good third of 18 at Cheltenham on return in October; respected. |

2nd (4) (11/8 +54%) Skycutter |
11/8(+54%) | (4) Skycutter 11/8, Below par when last seen on Flat 13 months ago but won twice over hurdles as a juvenile and needs monitoring in market on return/debut for Dan Skelton here. Useful on Flat and he's 2-5 over hurdles; needs close look on first run for Dan Skelton. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
MAGICAL KING has finished second on both starts over hurdles at Uttoxeter and Aintree and the four-year-old is likely to have plenty more to offer on his handicap debut. Ballygeary performed with a considerable amount of promise when third at Cheltenham on his return in October and is open to improvement stepping back up in distance. Skycutter, who makes his first start for Dan Skelton, and Issam are others worth considering.
ISSAM may have done too much too soon when an encouraging third on his Sandown reappearance last month and can get back on the winning trail in the opener. Handicap debutant Magical King is feared most.
The vote goes to MAGICAL KING, who has finished close up in both his hurdle runs and is open to more progress on his handicap debut.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
BALLYBURN and Firefox are two exciting bumper winners and together with Group 1 Flat winner Helvic Dream, make this a mouthwatering maiden hurdle. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding won his point-to-point in good style and impressed when scoring twice at Punchestown earlier this year, including at the Festival meeting. Firefox caught the eye on debut over hurdles at Navan 12 months ago and has shown a high level of form in bumpers, winning three times, including on his reappearance at Down Royal last month. Helvic Dream won the Tattersalls Gold Cup back in 2021 and while not at that level now, was second last time in a Listed race at the Curragh. Any support for newcomer Lehaunstown would be interesting.
Three-time bumper scorer FIREFOX has hurdling experience under his belt and should be spot on after an easy return victory at Down Royal last month. He is narrowly preferred to the highly exciting Ballyburn, who is ante-post favourite for the Ballymore at the Cheltenham Festival despite not having jumped an obstacle in public thus far. Useful Flat performer Helvic Dream adds further spice to what promises to be a highly informative contest.
BALLYBURN has won with any amount in hand on both rules starts so far and further progress is expected here; he's the one to beat

1st (9) (7/2 -20%) Mistral Blue |
7/2(-20%) | (9) Mistral Blue 7/2, Offered something to work on when fifth at Fakenham on debut in April. Yet to build on that but switch to hurdling and step up in trip could bring more out of her. Promise to take from her bumpers; stout pedigree and soon up in trip over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (5/2 +58%) After Many Days |
5/2(+58%) | (1) After Many Days 5/2, Shaped with a good degree of promise amidst inexperience when fourth of 10 on debut in bumper at Ludlow in May and left the impression she'd strip fitter for her hurdling debut (when fourth) at Huntingdon last month. Open to improvement and should feature. Ability in both runs; from a fine jumping family and should improve with experience. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (12) (13/8 +98%) Sanda Rena |
13/8(+98%) | (12) Sanda Rena 13/8, £150,000 purchase after winning an Irish point last December and finished third on Rules debut in a bumper here in March. Only sixth starting out over hurdles at Newbury (16.3f, good to soft) earlier this month but likely to do better in time. Point winner; placed in a bumper but hurdling debut at Newbury was underwhelming. |

4th (3) (4/1 +43%) Brief Statement |
4/1(+43%) | (3) Brief Statement 4/1, Easy winner of sole start in Irish points but pulled too hard when fifth in a novice at Huntingdon on initial hurdling outing. Should improve if she settles better. Raced freely when well beaten at Huntingdon; may do better now tongue tied. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (33/1 +20%) Little Talks |
33/1(+20%) | (7) Little Talks 33/1, Runner-up only start in Irish points (May 7) but pulled up in a novice at Ludlow on hurdling debut and others make more appeal. Engaged 12.50 here Friday. Lost ground quickly and was pulled up at Ludlow (2m5f; 66-1). |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
Having shaped nicely when fourth in a stronger looking event than this at Wetherby on her seasonal/hurdling debut, DONTYAWANTME now reverts to mares-only company and could take some stopping with that experience to draw on. After Many Days and Mistral Blue are others to have shown similar promise, while dual point-to-point winner Chatshow Host is likely much better than she showed on very testing ground at Hexham on her hurdling bow.
DONTYAWANTME showed plenty in bumpers and travelled well for a long way (needed the run) when fourth at Wetherby on her hurdling debut. With improvement on the cards, she's preferred to After Many Days, with Mistral Blue another one to consider.
Fergal O'Brien's MISTRAL BLUE earns marginal preference in what is an open race for a novices' hurdle.

7/4(+0%) | (9) Jingko Blue 7/4, Won sole start in Irish points in February and made a promising start under Rules when second in a novice at Warwick last month. Sets the standard with the scope for better, so should take the beating. Beaten at odds-on on hurdling debut at Warwick but shaped well; may well go one better. |

2nd (2) (7/4 +0%) Masaccio |
7/4(+0%) | (2) Masaccio 7/4, Useful bumper winner who returned from 6 months off to make a successful start over hurdles in novice at Chepstow 32 days ago. Has a penalty in a better race but he's open to improvement. Took well to hurdling when scoring in a big field at Chepstow; open to improvement. |

4/1(+43%) | (1) Emailandy 4/1, Third in a bumper in the spring and built on that to make a successful start over hurdles in novice at Plumpton, powering away. Should do better, so merits plenty of respect. Easy winner on hurdling debut at Plumpton; represents yard with a fine record in this race. |

4th (7) (20/1 -43%) Il Va De Soi |
20/1(-43%) | (7) Il Va De Soi 20/1, Promise in bumpers and some encouragement when fourth at Ascot on hurdling debut. Goes up in trip but likely to be outclassed in this company. Hurdling debut came in a race with depth; lots to find on form but not written off. |

5th (10) (28/1 -180%) Kayf Dancer |
28/1(-180%) | (10) Kayf Dancer 28/1, Brother to a bumper winner and made a solid start in that sphere when third at Exeter 10 months ago. Should take to hurdling, so not completely dismissed. Third in a bumper at Exeter; off 11 months since and now goes hurdling in warmish race. |

6th (13) (150/1 +0%) Touch Of Thunder |
150/1(+0%) | (13) Touch Of Thunder 150/1, Modest in bumpers and achieved a similar level when a well-held seventh in a novice at Plumpton on hurdling debut. Others preferred. Unplaced in two bumpers and a novice hurdle, beaten out of sight by Emailandy in latter. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (150/1 -355%) Grass's Jet |
150/1(-355%) | (6) Grass's Jet 150/1, Runner-up sole start in Irish points but not enough encouragement over hurdles to make him of serious interest in this. Went wrong way when well-held fifth at Warwick last time; plenty of improvement required. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (150/1 -88%) Eire Street |
150/1(-88%) | (5) Eire Street 150/1, Lightly raced in points and showed promise when staying on for second in a Sligo bumper last summer. Not in same form for current connections, including on hurdling debut at Lingfield recently. No impact in a bumper or novice hurdle (125-1) since joining current connections. |

11th (4) (200/1 -60%) Dixie Flyer |
200/1(-60%) | (4) Dixie Flyer 200/1, Remains a maiden after 12 hurdle runs. Twelve runs since last win in 2020. Fifteenth of 17 in handicap hurdle at Warwick (16f, heavy, 66/1) 25 days ago. Up in trip. Has had a wind op. Hard to fancy. Well beaten in his two runs for current stable and now returns from wind surgery. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
MASACCIO accounted for subsequent winner Beat The Bat when successful on his hurdling debut at Chepstow and Alan King's gelding merits the utmost respect here, despite carrying a 6lb penalty. Expensive point-to-point recruit Jingko Blue was a beaten odds-on favourite on his Rules debut at Warwick, but he was not disgraced on that occasion and should not be underestimated. Others to consider are Emailandy and Kayf Dancer.
JINGKO BLUE is the form pick and has plenty of improvement in him, so he gets the vote over Emailandy and Masaccio, who both shoulder penalties on the back of winning hurdling debuts.
Emailandy is much respected but JINGKO BLUE, who looks the Henderson first string on paper, can go one better than at Warwick.

2nd (8) (6/1 -33%) Heritier |
6/1(-33%) | (8) Heritier 6/1, Dual winner over fences last autumn. Ended season in a slump but was revitalised by a switch back to hurdling with his first run of the season behind him when taking advantage of lower hurdles mark at Uttoxeter 2 weeks ago. Retains handicapping scope on chase form. Cashed in on his lower hurdles when scoring by 6l at Uttoxeter; respected. |

3rd (5) (33/1 -175%) Transatlantic |
33/1(-175%) | (5) Transatlantic 33/1, Won a 2m Huntingdon novice hurdle for Gary Moore in April 2022 but not seen again until finishing down the field in an Ayr handicap hurdle for this yard 4 weeks ago. Might strip fitter for the run. Has had wind surgery. Back from long absence with heavy defeat on his stable debut last month; had wind op since. |

4th (1) (11/8 +66%) Feel The Pinch |
11/8(+66%) | (1) Feel The Pinch 11/8, Has had a productive time since joining Robbie Llewellyn, gaining a fifth win since March when readily seeing off 5 rivals in a Ludlow handicap chase (2m, soft) on Monday. Good shout off the same mark back hurdling if coping with the quick turnaround. 5-10 for current yard and he defied this mark over fences on Monday; big player again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (13/2 -18%) Thunderclap |
13/2(-18%) | (4) Thunderclap 13/2, Fairly useful handicapper on Flat and made steady progress in this sphere last season, winning a Sedgefield maiden in April. His opening handicap hurdle mark looks workable if he's ready to roll after 7 months off. Ended last season with a maiden win and he's respected on his handicap hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (7/2 +22%) Icarat |
7/2(+22%) | (9) Icarat 7/2, Fair form in French bumpers for Nick Littmoden. Best effort in maiden/novice hurdles for new yard in the spring when fourth of 9 at Ffos Las in April. Interesting now handicapping for the first time on reappearance with his stable in very good form. Unexposed handicap newcomer and he needs watching in market on return; had wind surgery. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (14/1 +13%) Polyphonic |
14/1(+13%) | (7) Polyphonic 14/1, Fairly useful Flat/hurdles winner. Bounced back quickly from a poor run at Kempton when third of 5 at Uttoxeter (2m, heavy) a fortnight ago. Has patchy record in this sphere and his hurdle win was 12 months ago; others preferred. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
THUNDERCLAP seemed to improve with each start over hurdles last season, ending with victory at Sedgefield in April at the fifth attempt, and the five-year-old is expected to be very competitive now switching to handicaps. Risk D'Argent is likely to enter calculations following his second at Warwick last month, while the consistent John Betjeman and Feel The Pinch, a winner over fences at Ludlow on Monday, appeal most of the remainder.
A competitive race. FEEL THE PINCH really has discovered the winning habit for this stable and may be able to go in again if over his exertions at Ludlow on Monday. Sedgefield maiden winner Thunderclap looks on a good opening handicap mark in this sphere if ready to roll after a break and is second choice ahead of Risk d'Argent. Icarat is a handicap newcomer to note in the betting, while Heritier is also worth a look.
Top of the list is FEEL THE PINCH (nap), who made it 5-10 for his current yard when defying this mark over fences at Ludlow on Monday.

1st (11) (4/1 +20%) Waterford Whispers |
4/1(+20%) | (11) Waterford Whispers 4/1, Progressed from debut to get off the mark at the second attempt in 12-runner maiden at Galway (16.4f, heavy, 11/4) 35 days ago, pushed out. Up in trip. Trainer going well. Should have even more to offer. Won Galway maiden going away; should relish this longer trip and Walsh's choice. |

2nd (1) (5/1 +33%) Answer To Kayf |
5/1(+33%) | (1) Answer To Kayf 5/1, Left hurdling debut form well behind to win 18-runner maiden hurdle at Limerick (16f, heavy, 25/1) 41 days ago, going clear. Back up in trip. Beat a subsequent Grade 3 winner in Limerick maiden; every chance he'll stay. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (28/1 +0%) Luminous Light |
28/1(+0%) | (9) Luminous Light 28/1, Fairly useful hurdler who ran out a comfortable winner of a juvenile event at Cork in April. Of a similar standard on the Flat but ran poorly at Down Royal on most recent outing in that sphere in September. Cork maiden winner and Downpatrick novice second; has a bit to find at this level. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (10) (100/1 -100%) Stormy Judge |
100/1(-100%) | (10) Stormy Judge 100/1, Useful chaser who looked rusty returning from 20 months off when down the field at Gowran (16f, heavy) 21 days ago. Up in trip. Much better chaser and inadequate trip here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (8/1 -14%) Western Fold |
8/1(-14%) | (6) Western Fold 8/1, Fairly useful in bumpers and ran out a comprehensive winner of 17-runner maiden at Gowran (16f, heavy) 21 days ago. Up in trip. Open to progress. Runaway Gowran winner going the right way but much stiffer task here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (7/4 +13%) Redstone |
7/4(+13%) | (3) Redstone 7/4, Overcame inexperience to make a successful debut over hurdles in 12-runner maiden at this course (16f, soft) 61 days ago, cosily. Up in trip and could be useful. Travelled well in winning maiden here in October; nice prospect and could well play a role. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (20/1 +0%) Sundial |
20/1(+0%) | (8) Sundial 20/1, Opened his account over hurdles in a maiden at Kilbeggan in July. However, proved a disappointment at Galway the following month and fared no better back on the Flat at the Curragh last time. Last season's Boodles fourth needs to jump much better than at Galway. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (17/2 -70%) Release The Beast |
17/2(-70%) | (4) Release The Beast 17/2, Made a winning start to his career in the style of a potentially useful prospect in 9-runner maiden at Galway (16.4f, heavy) 35 days ago, easily. Up in trip. Sure to improve. Galway maiden quite impressive and 4yo has plenty of scope so looks an exciting prospect. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (2) (17/2 -21%) Any Road |
17/2(-21%) | (2) Any Road 17/2, Fairly useful in bumpers and ran to a similar level to win 12-runner maiden at Clonmel (16.4f, heavy) on hurdles bow 23 days ago. Up in trip. Likely to improve. Clonmel maiden winner with good chance of staying 2m4f; much stiffer task here though. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (7) (25/1 -25%) Ochocinco |
25/1(-25%) | (7) Ochocinco 25/1, Overcame inexperience to make a winning hurdling debut at Down Royal in June. Sill needed experience pitched into a handicap when fourth of 7 at Gowran (20.3f) last time and remains unexposed. Inexperience evident on recent handicap debut; may want better ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (5) (20/1 -150%) Sportinthepark |
20/1(-150%) | (5) Sportinthepark 20/1, Left his sole outing in bumpers behind to make a successful hurdling debut in 12-runner maiden at Wexford (20f, heavy) 15 days ago, pushed out. Open to improvement. Wexford winner suited by a stamina test but much more on his plate here. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
REDSTONE made a successful debut under Rules in a maiden here over two miles that has generally worked out well since. The five-year-old, who held every chance when falling at the last on his only point start, should be suited by this extra half-mile. Release The Beast won with plenty in hand on debut at Galway but on a line through the third-placed Makaela's Choice, may struggle to beat the selection off level weights. Waterford Whispers also won a Galway maiden and is another with plenty of scope for improvement, while Western Fold galloped on strongly to win a Gowran maiden on heavy ground and should be suited by the step up in trip. Answer To Kayf showed much improved form when winning a Limerick maiden on testing ground, while Any Road also won on heavy at Clonmel last month.
WATERFORD WHISPERS got the job done a shade snugly at Galway and is open to plenty more improvement now stepping up in trip, so he's the tentative vote in a competitive event. Redstone and Release The Beast both impressed on their hurdling debuts and head the opposition.
Preference is for ANSWER TO KAYF, who ran away from a Grade 3 winner at Limerick and who could be better again at this longer trip

1st (6) (13/2 +41%) Clear White Light |
13/2(+41%) | (6) Clear White Light 13/2, Hexham maiden winner for Sandy Forster who went the right way in handicaps for current yard last term, winning twice at around 2½m, including at this venue. Ridden too aggressively in Morebattle Hurdle (Handicap) at Kelso prior to showing fair form on the Flat. Lacks a run and, even if on his game, this might be too tough. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (5/2 +29%) Mr Freedom |
5/2(+29%) | (2) Mr Freedom 5/2, Likeable type who followed 4 wins over hurdles last season with a hat-trick on the Flat during the summer. Ran really well again back over timber after a break when runner-up at Fontwell (conceded first run) in October and backed that up with a good third a Plumpton since. Interesting back at 2m. Consistent dual-purpose performer; perhaps vulnerable off this high a mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (10/3 +63%) Spartan Army |
10/3(+63%) | (7) Spartan Army 10/3, Dual winner as a juvenile hurdler and, fit from the Flat, matched that form when third in a Plumpton handicap (15.9f) 26 days ago. The runner-up has franked that form since, so he has to be considered a player from a 2 lb lower mark. Solid third at Plumpton latest; 2lb lower for this but in a stronger race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (10/1 -100%) Hurricane Ali |
10/1(-100%) | (4) Hurricane Ali 10/1, Reliable sort who kept mistakes to a minimum and ran another good race when second in 7-runner handicap at Wetherby (2m) 45 days ago. Likely to give his running once more. Ten defeats on the trot and his handicap mark hasn't moved very far. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (13/2 -63%) Collingham |
13/2(-63%) | (3) Collingham 13/2, Enjoyed a good campaign last term, winning at Wetherby and Musselburgh. Found life tougher in a more competitive environment at Aintree in April but ran creditably back down in grade at Musselburgh on his return last month, despite needing a stronger gallop. Player. More on his plate at the weights than when a pleasing third at Musselburgh. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (12/1 +52%) Oakley |
12/1(+52%) | (5) Oakley 12/1, Off the mark for present stable at Stratford (2m, soft) in spring 2022 and posted a good third at Cheltenham in December but well below form both starts since. He was beaten a long way out on his return from a break at Newbury. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
Mr Freedom finished a close-up third in this grade at Plumpton on his latest outing and he should go well off a 2lb higher rating. However, preference is for COLLINGHAM, who failed to justify favouritism on his return to action at Musselburgh, but he has been dropped 1lb for that effort and has Brian Hughes back in the plate so he looks set for a big run. Hurricane Ali ran with credit when second at Wetherby and could also have a say.
The selection is BALLYBREEZE, who reverts to hurdling on a fair mark after unseating his rider at the first on his return (over fences) at Cheltenham. Mr Freedom has posted two solid efforts already this season and looks interesting back at 2m, with Spartan Army completing the shortlist having shaped a bit better than the bare result on his first handicap start in this sphere at Plumpton last month.
The 7yo BALLYBREEZE could be a better horse now than when last seen over hurdles and he's rated 9lb higher as a chaser.

1st (8) (28/1 -367%) Get A Tonic |
28/1(-367%) | (8) Get A Tonic 28/1, Won only start in Irish points and quickly made up into a useful hurdler, winning 3 times during novice campaign. Didn't kick on from a promising return display in handful of starts last season and returns to hurdles having not convinced on chase debut at Warwick last month. Below par lately; chasing quickly put on hold; well treated on best form but carries risks. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (10/1 +38%) Anyharminasking |
10/1(+38%) | (3) Anyharminasking 10/1, Has a largely progressive profile and he ran right up to his best when second on return in Welsh Champion Hurdle in October. Not in same form when ninth in last month's Greatwood Hurdle but return to less testing conditions here may help. Soft ground possibly counted against him last time; this step up to 2m4f could suit. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (7/1 +36%) North Lodge |
7/1(+36%) | (2) North Lodge 7/1, Low-mileage 6-y-o who won first 2 starts over hurdles (latterly Grade 2) and upped his game further in defeat, last seen posting a good third in Grade 1 Mersey at Aintree in spring 2022. Absent subsequently but unlikely to be lacking for fitness on return/handicap debut. Very lightly raced 6yo, last seen finishing third in Aintree Grade 1 novice in April 2022. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (11) (10/1 +38%) Off To A Flyer |
10/1(+38%) | (11) Off To A Flyer 10/1, Back on track when signing off last term with success in an Ayr maiden (24.3f) in April and better than bare result when midfield in 20-runner Cheltenham handicap (21f, soft) on return 2 weeks ago, losing place when badly hampered 2 out. Remains one to be interested in. Could finish only in midfield at Cheltenham on reappearance and is on a retrieval mission. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (10) (5/1 +0%) Uncle Bert |
5/1(+0%) | (10) Uncle Bert 5/1, Resumed with victory in 2m4f Perth handicap in September but seemed anchored by 9 lb rise when fourth at Chepstow (19.5f) a month later. Fell early on at Cheltenham 2 weeks ago but it does remain early days with him in handicaps at least. Easy winner at Perth and things have not gone his way since; could still be unexposed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (12/1 +0%) Rock My Way |
12/1(+0%) | (6) Rock My Way 12/1, Winning Irish pointer who landed a 2½m Grade 2 novice hurdle at Cheltenham in January. Disappointed in 2 starts thereafter but showed benefit of his reappearance run when fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle back at that venue 2 weeks ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Fifth in Cheltenham handicap last time; needs to improve for the fitting of cheekpieces. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (5/1 +38%) Irish Hill |
5/1(+38%) | (9) Irish Hill 5/1, Progressive when completing a handicap hurdle hat-trick last winter. Higher marks found him out at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals in the spring and possible he needed the run back from 7 months off at Kempton (21f) 12 days ago. Satisfactory reappearance when fourth of seven at Kempton; becoming well handicapped again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (1) (12/1 -20%) Sebastopol |
12/1(-20%) | (1) Sebastopol 12/1, Smart chaser who capitalised on his much lower hurdles mark back from 6 months off at Newton Abbot (21.5f) in September. Didn't find a great deal for pressure when third at Kelso (20.9f) later that month but given more of a break ahead of this. Rider takes off handy 7 lb. Mixes hurdling and chasing; winner in September; drying ground would suit; each-way claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (5/2 +50%) Jet Powered |
5/2(+50%) | (7) Jet Powered 5/2, 350,000 gns purchase after winning sole start in Irish points and impressed when making winning hurdles debut here (16.3f) 12 months ago. Clearly not himself when well held a month later and he remains with potential now handicapping up in trip. Looked a smart prospect on hurdling debut; folded tamely next time; still has potential. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.
A difficult puzzle to solve but a chance is taken on GET A TONIC, who returns to hurdles after running in novice chase company. Dan Skelton's mare arrives on her last winning mark and appears well treated if able to bounce back to form. Jet Powered looked an exciting prospect when getting of the mark at the first time of asking over hurdles, only to disappoint subsequently, and he is feared most on his handicap debut. Better can be expected of Uncle Bert after his early fall at Cheltenham.
Firmly back on track when opening his account at Ayr back in the spring, OFF TO A FLYER shaped much better than the bare result on his return at Cheltenham 2 weeks ago and he's well worth another chance to prove his revised mark a workable one. Jet Powered and North Lodge are a couple of fascinating contenders back from absences and they need factoring in. Cobblers Dream is another worth a look.
The lightly raced Jet Powered looks dangerous but UNCLE BERT could still be unexposed as well and gets the verdict.

1st (2) (11/2 -120%) Clondaw Royale |
11/2(-120%) | (2) Clondaw Royale 11/2, Runner-up sole start in Irish points. Much better effort in novice hurdles this autumn when second of 13 over 19f at Warwick last month, with the reopposing Kilbarry Hill a neck behind him in third. Likely to be bang there again. Always-prominent second of 13 at 33-1 in novice at Warwick (2m3f, soft) last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (11/10 +37%) Kilbarry Hill |
11/10(+37%) | (7) Kilbarry Hill 11/10, Runner-up twice from 5 starts in Irish points. Shaped well when 2 lengths third of 17 on Warwick hurdle debut 24 days ago, staying on from too far back. Clondaw Royale was narrowly ahead of him in second on that occasion but he might be able to turn the tables this time. Came from rear when third of 17 in novice hurdle at Warwick (2m, soft; 25-1) last month. |

3rd (4) (5/1 -25%) Idefix De Ciergues |
5/1(-25%) | (4) Idefix De Ciergues 5/1, Runner-up sole start in points. Shaped like a stayer in bumpers last winter and again when third on Ffos Las hurdling debut/reappearance. Open to improvement. Third in maiden hurdle at Ffos Las (2m6f) last month puts him in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (7/1 +22%) I See The Sea |
7/1(+22%) | (5) I See The Sea 7/1, £160,000 after finishing second in an Irish point in May. Only fifth of 6 in a Chepstow bumper last month but could sharper with that behind him and the longer trip may also help now hurdling. Irish point 2nd; £160,000 buy; 15l fifth of six in bumper (heavy) but could do much better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) (11/2 +54%) Ultra Beat |
11/2(+54%) | (9) Ultra Beat 11/2, Third sole start in Irish points and on bumper debut at Warwick in March. Pulled up (found to have an irregular heartbeat) on his Chepstow hurdle debut 32 days ago. Hard to assess. Struck into and irregular heartbeat on hurdle debut; bumper run means he's not ruled out. |

6th (6) (9/1 +44%) Jo Lescribaa |
9/1(+44%) | (6) Jo Lescribaa 9/1, Placed in 2 bumpers in France but only sixth on last month's Warwick hurdle debut, with the reopposing Clondaw Royale and Kilbarry Hill some 20 lengths ahead in second/third. Placed in two 1m4f French bumpers; needs to leave recent hurdle debut show way behind him. |

7th (3) (150/1 -275%) Exclusive Getaway |
150/1(-275%) | (3) Exclusive Getaway 150/1, Fair form when second of 4 in Warwick bumper on Rules debut but has been well held on all 3 starts over hurdles. Second of four in a bumper; tailed off at triple-figure odds on first three hurdle starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (80/1 +0%) Wexford Park |
80/1(+0%) | (10) Wexford Park 80/1, Third in a couple of Irish points but more one for the longer term judged on his efforts in a bumper and 2 hurdles in recent months. Third in two Irish points but modest in his bumper and both runs (150-1) over hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (150/1 -200%) Streamsforth Lad |
150/1(-200%) | (8) Streamsforth Lad 150/1, Has shown ability in bumpers but not enough to suggest he's likely to make a winning start over hurdles now. 18l third of 11 at Wetherby (soft; 50-1) on debut was his best show in three bumpers. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
KILBARRY HILL shaped encouragingly to finish third on his Rules debut at Warwick over 2m last month and Olly Murphy's gelding wouldn't need to improve much from that display to get off the mark. Clondaw Royale took a step in the right direction when also hitting the frame at Warwick on his latest start. A repeat of that effort would give him every chance, while I See The Sea is likely to step forward from his bumper outing at Chepstow.
KILBARRY HILL shaped well when third on his Warwick hurdle debut last month and is taken to improve past Clondaw Royale, who was narrowly ahead of him in second on that occasion. Idefix de Ciergues also rates a likely improver following an encouraging hurdles debut run at Ffos Las in October.
The way in which KILBARRY HILL exceeded the market expectations for him on his hurdling debut at Warwick puts him top of the list.

Impressive jumping to win last two; more needed on handicap debut but possible. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Dancing On My Own's victory in a valuable handicap chase at Cheltenham entitles him to respect, although he has to give plenty of weight away and would prefer better ground. THE BIG CHAP is going the right way over fences and could be a shade of each-way value. Paul Flynn's charge took the scalp of a subsequent Cheltenham novices' chase winner over a similar trip at this track in October and followed up over further in Galway. Cut in the ground is ideal for him. Fighting Fit is another hat-trick seeker after landing decent contests at Galway and Listowel. Gavin Brouder's 5lb claim has been a big help to him and the duo have a fair chance. Grey Diamond mixed in good company in Britain and is an interesting recruit for Gordon Elliott, while The Folkes Tiara competes off a lovely light weight.
FIGHTING FIT arrives firmly on the up and the form of his latest success at Listowel looks solid, so he's narrowly preferred to fellow last-time-out winner Dancing On My Own. The Folkes Tiara is another one to consider but a case can be made for most of the others, too.
Likely a strong pace which could set it up nicely for the lightly-weighted ThHE FOLKES TIARA

9/4(+68%) | (3) Joe Dadancer 9/4, Clear when fell last sole start in Irish points and showed fair form over hurdles last season. Type to improve for the larger obstacles, so warrants close market observation back from 7 months off/wind op. Winning hurdler and the type to do well over fences; had wind surgery. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (5) (15/2 +25%) Technology |
15/2(+25%) | (5) Technology 15/2, Fair in bumpers and promising start over hurdles. Dropped out quickly when pulled up at Chepstow when last seen 8 months ago but bred to take to chasing on return. Maiden hurdler; looks vulnerable unless he can raise his game over fences. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
William Of York recorded a hat-trick before switching to the Rebecca Menzies stable and he makes his return to the fray off a 5lb higher mark. He is worthy of consideration on his fencing debut, but SCHOOL DAYS OVER has match-fitness on his side after making his first chasing start a victorious one at Hereford. The six-year-old should have no issues with this slightly shorter trip and can go in again off a 5lb higher rating. General Officer is a consistent performer and is another to note.
GENERAL OFFICER has impressed with his jumping in two chase outings so far this term and, having been second only to an impressive chasing debutant (who has run well since) at Aintree last time, he looks the most appealing here. School Days Over is an obvious threat after making a winning start in this sphere and ex-pointer Joe Dadancer should relish the larger obstacles.
Most have chances but GENERAL OFFICER (nap) impressed with his jumping when the clear runner-up behind a talented winner at Aintree.

1st (1) (15/2 -7%) Hansard |
15/2(-7%) | (1) Hansard 15/2, Impressive as he won his first 2 starts over hurdles for this yard last winter. Improved again when fourth in 2m Grade 1 novice at Aintree in April and returned with a fine 4¼ lengths second of 4 to Rubaud in Elite Hurdle at Wincanton, looking a threat until losing momentum 2 out. Respected. Fine 4th in Grade 1 novice at Aintree in April and he's one to consider on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (7) (13/2 +64%) Bad |
13/2(+64%) | (7) Bad 13/2, Winner in France. Better than the result in 2 strong juvenile handicap hurdles for this yard in the spring and made a satisfactory return to action when beaten just under 13 lengths into third at Ascot 4 weeks ago. There's a feeling he has a bigger performance in him at some point. Lightly raced 4yo who could improve for last month's return at Ascot, but he needs to. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (9/4 +32%) Brentford Hope |
9/4(+32%) | (3) Brentford Hope 9/4, Bordering on smart on the Flat and probably going to reach a similar level over hurdles, making it 3-4 from this yard when easily seeing off 10 rivals in a C&D handicap on last month's reappearance. Even an 11 lb rise may not stop him. Bolted up in C&D handicap last month and an 11lb rise might not stop him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (9) (18/1 +73%) Tapley |
18/1(+73%) | (9) Tapley 18/1, Bounced back to form with a bang to win 13-runner Kempton handicap last month. Creditable third of 10 back there on Monday. Probably vulnerable to more progressive types here, though. Has run well at Kempton the last twice but this is a much tougher assignment. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (6/1 +57%) Our Champ |
6/1(+57%) | (4) Our Champ 6/1, Looked firmly on the up when winning 2m handicaps at Plumpton and Cheltenham on first 2 outings for Chris Gordon. Might have found the run coming a bit too soon after only 8 days off when fifth at Ascot last time and might resume his progression now. Soundly beaten at Ascot when bidding for hat-trick but that was on soft; not written off. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (25/1 +0%) Celtic Art |
25/1(+0%) | (8) Celtic Art 25/1, Useful winner on Flat and took his record over hurdles to 3-7 when reacting well to cheekpieces (retained) to win a 2m Lingfield Class 4 handicap 18 days ago. Only up 3 lb but this is a jump in grade. Back to form in cheekpieces at Lingfield latest but likely vulnerable in this hotter race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (9/4 -50%) Under Control |
9/4(-50%) | (2) Under Control 9/4, Her only defeat in 5 starts over hurdles came when well held in Dawn Run at the Cheltenham Festival, bouncing back from that disappointing run to win handicaps at Cheltenham and Sandown in April. Raised another 9 lb but likely has more to come and her yard does well in this race. Had wind op. Won handicaps on final two runs last season and this unexposed 4yo has stacks of potential. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (33/1 -32%) Doyen Ta Win |
33/1(-32%) | (5) Doyen Ta Win 33/1, Progressive 3-time winner over hurdles last term. Run of good form came to a halt when well held in a Killarney listed handicap in May but no surprise were she to bounce back on return to action. Three front-running wins last season and this Irish mare is not ruled out on her return. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.
UNDER CONTROL is on a hat-trick after wins at Cheltenham and Sandown in April and should she return to the track in similar form, she will take plenty of beating. Nicky Henderson's filly was half a length in front of stablemate Iberico Lord, who gave the form a big boost when landing the Greatwood, at the Esher venue and more improvement is anticipated. Brentford Hope struck in bloodless fashion over C&D last month and the 11lb rise is warranted. Hansard heads the remainder.
BRENTFORD HOPE had plenty in hand in a C&D handicap last month and might be able to defy a rise in the weights with further improvement on the cards. Our Champ had an excuse for a lesser run last time and can resume his progression and provide the chief threat ahead of Under Control, who is seeking to provide Nicky Henderson with a fourth win in this since 2019.
Nicky Henderson has a fine record in the Gerry Feilden and the unexposed 4yo filly UNDER CONTROL can complete a hat-trick.

Sammy's Guarantee |
(10) (40/1 -100%)40/1(-100%) | (10) Sammy's Guarantee 40/1, Runner-up sole outing in point bumpers. Has shown ability when mid-field in novice hurdles this autumn but will need improvement to trouble Act of Authority. Well held in both her hurdle runs and has plenty to find here; hood added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (1) (1/6 +73%) Act Of Authority |
1/6(+73%) | (1) Act Of Authority 1/6, Point winner who was runner-up in both bumpers last season. Made a successful start to his hurdle career over C&D last month. Not disgraced when sixth of 8 in Cheltenham Grade 2 since and the one to beat with his sights lowered. Respectable effort in Grade 2 last time and sets clear standard back in much calmer waters. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (9/2 -64%) Panhandle Slim |
9/2(-64%) | (6) Panhandle Slim 9/2, Promising second in course bumper in October. Below that level when only fourth at Carlisle a month later but retains potential now hurdling. Showed promise in bumpers including a second at this track; respected on hurdling debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (50/1 -52%) Catch Him Derry |
50/1(-52%) | (2) Catch Him Derry 50/1, 9/1, last of 6 in bumper at Chepstow (16f, heavy) on debut 24 days ago, pulling hard. Makes hurdles debut. Struggled on bumper debut last month and needs a transformation on this switch to hurdling. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (28/1 -75%) Tara Cove |
28/1(-75%) | (8) Tara Cove 28/1, Won 3 times from 7 outings in points but no impact in a pair of maiden hurdles in recent months. 3-7 in points but he's been well held in two hurdle runs; stablemate of Panhandle Slim. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (40/1 -21%) Molly's Third Man |
40/1(-21%) | (5) Molly's Third Man 40/1, Comfortably held in 2 bumpers in the spring and similar story on last month's Warwick hurdle debut. Well held in two bumpers and was tailed off at 40-1 on his hurdling debut last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (22/1 +33%) Gentle Victor |
22/1(+33%) | (4) Gentle Victor 22/1, Has more than hinted at ability but is possibly one who won't really come into his own until handicapping. Some promise on his hurdling debut but he failed to build on that at Wetherby last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (66/1 -164%) Special Dragon |
66/1(-164%) | (11) Special Dragon 66/1, Kayf Tara half-sister to 2 winners on Flat. 40/1, held up and never a threat on debut in a Huntingdon novice hurdle last month. Best watched unless the betting hints at a better showing this time. Made a low-key start in a Huntingdon novice (2m, good) last month and is best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (66/1 +0%) Professor Higgins |
66/1(+0%) | (7) Professor Higgins 66/1, Showed fair form when placed twice in bumpers but well held on last month's Doncaster hurdle debut. Struggled in final bumper and was the same story on his recent hurdling debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
A Cheltenham Grade 2 was all too much at this stage of his career for ACT OF AUTHORITY and he trailed home sixth behind subsequent Greatwood runner-up Lookaway, with last weekend's impressive Haydock scorer Kamsinas in second. This is a considerably easier task for Olly Murphy's representative and he can defy the 6lb penalty picked up for his hurdling debut success over C&D. Tedtwo has switched to the Kerry Lee team since a promising bumper campaign, while Panhandle Slim has also shown enough to warrant an interest.
C&D winner ACT OF AUTHORITY sets a good standard for the rest to aim at and will likely be hard to beat. Bumper recruits Panhandle Slim and Tedtwo can give him most to do.
This can go to ACT OF AUTHORITY, who ran respectably in a Grade 2 last time and sets a clear standard back in much calmer waters.

1st (6) (7/4 +42%) Risk Belle |
7/4(+42%) | (6) Risk Belle 7/4, Useful hurdler. Winner over C&D in April. Creditable sixth of 18 in handicap hurdle (9/2) at Punchestown (19.1f, good to soft). Off 7 months. Yard having good spell. Sure to go well. Only beaten a neck in Fred Winter before valuable h'cap win here; has to step up. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (12/1 -200%) Nusret |
12/1(-200%) | (1) Nusret 12/1, Useful hurdler. 20/1, twenty sixth of 30 in Irish Cesarewitch at the Curragh (16.8f, heavy) 69 days ago. Switches from Flat to hurdles. Has some good novice hurdle form to his name and better showing anticipated returned to this sphere. Won Adonis last term before decent Gr 1 efforts; chance would be enhanced by good ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (14/1 -75%) Hypotenus |
14/1(-75%) | (5) Hypotenus 14/1, Fairly useful hurdler. Winner in hurdle at Gowran in September. 6/4, last of 6 in minor event hurdle at Naas (16f, soft) 20 days ago, not seen to best effect reverting back to patient tactics. Still, more needed back up in grade in any case. 2nd in Gr 3 last term; bolted up in maiden hurdle in September; last of 6 in novice since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (11/2 -83%) Golden Joy |
11/2(-83%) | (3) Golden Joy 11/2, Fairly useful hurdler. 11/8, first run since leaving Giada Menato when third of 6 in minor event hurdle at Naas (16f, soft) on IRE NH debut 20 days ago, having run of race. Open to progress, particularly when granted a stiffer test. Auteuil winner in spring; respectable yard bow when 3rd at Naas last month but more needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (200/1 -100%) Giant Haystacks |
200/1(-100%) | (2) Giant Haystacks 200/1, Elusive Pimpernel gelding. Half-brother to 4 winners, including fair hurdler/useful chaser Usa, stayed 2½m. Dam 2-y-o 5f winner who stayed 7f. Set a stiff task on racecourse debut. Elusive Pimpernel gelding; half-brother to a winner over jumps; huge ask for a newcomer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (4) (11/10 +41%) Gust Of Wind |
11/10(+41%) | (4) Gust Of Wind 11/10, Useful hurdler who ran well on just his second start for this yard when fourth in the Triumph at Cheltenham. Not in same form when third in C&D Grade 2 final outing last term but no surprise to see a better showing on return. Auteuil winner last year and useful level of form last season including 10l 4th in Triumph. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
GUST OF WIND has been pitched into a couple of Grade 1 contests, in addition to a Grade 2, in Ireland and should appreciate this starting point on his way to further top-level contests. His best finish was third in a Grade 2 over C&D in April and, interestingly, Willie Mullins has commented that he thinks he will be a Grade 1 horse during his career. His stablemate Risk Belle brings strong form to the contest as she was a close third in the Boodles at the Cheltenham Festival and delivered in a Grade A handicap hurdle at this track in April. Nusret is match-fit from the Flat and is a Grade 2 winner over flights. The concession of more than half a stone to all his rivals is a tough task, though. Golden Joy won his sole race over flights in his native France and was widely expected to win on his Irish debut at Naas, but finished third. He is likely to improve upon that effort.
RISK BELLE quickly developed into a useful performer in this sphere, adding to her tally over C&D in April prior to not being seen to best effect at Punchestown later that month. It's feasible to think she can do better again this term and earns the vote in receipt of weight all round. Her stablemate Gust of Wind and Nusret are others fancied to feature.
A drop in class can help GUST OF WIND (nap) get a first win on these shores since switching from France having kept some decent company

Foster'sisland |
(3) (5/1 +0%)5/1(+0%) | (3) Foster'sisland 5/1, Likeable type who found a bit more improvement to land a Bangor handicap in March and shaped as if better for the run when fifth at Carlisle on reappearance. Should be spot on, now. Ended last season with a career-best effort and made encouraging return last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (2) (3/1 +50%) Peking Rose |
3/1(+50%) | (2) Peking Rose 3/1, Latest win in hurdle at Aintree in October 2022. 12/1, pulled up in handicap hurdle at Newbury (20.5f, soft) when last seen. Has a good record fresh and back from 11 months off on a feasible mark, so worth a look in the betting. Not seen since last New Year's Eve but won competitive race when fresh last autumn. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (15/8 +6%) Matchless |
15/8(+6%) | (5) Matchless 15/8, Cheekpieces on for 1st time in this code, career best when winning 9-runner handicap hurdle at Musselburgh (15.6f, good to soft, 11/2) 24 days ago. Up in trip. Should go well again. 3-7 over hurdles after last month's Musselburgh win; tries a new trip here; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (8/1 +11%) Gaelik Coast |
8/1(+11%) | (4) Gaelik Coast 8/1, Useful winning chaser and he added to his tally over hurdles last year. Form rather tailed off during first half of this year but back from a 6-month break on a handy mark. Not seen since struggling in a chase in May but too well handicapped to ignore. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (5/1 +50%) Presenting Pete |
5/1(+50%) | (8) Presenting Pete 5/1, Looked on the up when bagging 2m4f handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter in August but has run poorly on both subsequent starts. Others make more appeal. Contender if judged on his summer win but looked out of sorts on both autumn outings. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (7/2 +56%) Rath Gaul Hill |
7/2(+56%) | (7) Rath Gaul Hill 7/2, Narrowly denied on sole start in Irish points and looked a good prospect when going one better on Rules/hurdling debut at Ffos Las last November. Disappointed both starts subsequently, though, and remains to be seen if switch to handicapping/break revitalises him. Yet to build upon last year's easy novice win but still has potential. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (33/1 -65%) Fricotin |
33/1(-65%) | (6) Fricotin 33/1, A fairly useful hurdles/chase winner for Francois Nicolle in 2022. Pulled up over fences at Wetherby on stable debut last month, leaving him with a bit to prove. Hurdle/chase winner in France last year but struggled on recent British debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
MATCHLESS won in good style over the extended 1m7f at Musselburgh last time and a repeat of that effort would make him difficult to beat. Jennie Candlish's charge shaped as if this extra yardage wouldn't be an issue when running on gamely on that occasion, and a 4lb rise doesn't appear out of his reach. Foster'sisland is also worthy of consideration having been dropped 2lb in the ratings, while Peking Rose is noted after 336 day off the track.
COBBLERS DREAM is well treated on the pick of his efforts and returned with a solid showing at Kempton 19 days ago. He's worth chancing to get back to his best but the likes of Foster'sisland and Matchless look serious opponents.
The suggestion is FOSTER'SISLAND, who slammed a dual subsequent winner on his final start last season and ran well on his reappearance.

10/1(+0%) | (11) Datsalrightgino 10/1, Ended novice season with success in Grade 2 company at Ayr (20.5f) in April, staying on well. Not seen to best effect when eighth in Old Roan Chase on return and suspicion there's more to come from him now stamina is tested further. Won 2m4f Grade 2 novice at Ayr in April and may well have staying potential; not ruled out. |

2nd (9) (15/2 -7%) Mahler Mission |
15/2(-7%) | (9) Mahler Mission 15/2, Improved model over fences, second in Grade 2 company prior to falling 2 out in NH Chase at Cheltenham (29.9f) in March, 5 lengths up and responding well to pressure at the time. Respectable second over inadequate trip on return at Carlisle (20f) 4 weeks ago. One to consider on handicap chase debut. Leading when he fell two out in NH Chase at Cheltenham; plenty to like about his claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (12) (13/2 +19%) Monbeg Genius |
13/2(+19%) | (12) Monbeg Genius 13/2, Highly progressive chaser who won 3 handicaps last winter before ending his campaign with an excellent third to Corach Rambler in the Ultima at Cheltenham (25f, good to soft). Undone by a bad mistake when pulled up on return at Ascot (23.8f) 4 weeks ago and he remains one to be positive about. His Ultima third has worked out phenomenally well; had an excuse on Ascot reappearance. |

4th (5) (18/1 +28%) Eldorado Allen |
18/1(+28%) | (5) Eldorado Allen 18/1, Very smart sort who ran creditably on the back of 6 months off when third of 11 in handicap at Ascot (23.8f) 28 days ago, Still, he was granted the run of the race then and this rates more demanding back up in trip. Reappearance 3rd at Ascot was eyecatching and he's well handicapped on last autumn's form. |

20/1(+20%) | (17) Cloudy Glen 20/1, Hard to predict but he brought his A game to the table when landing this race on return 2 years ago. Seen only 3 times last season and whilst he proved he retains most of ability when second on return at Cheltenham (27.3f) 13 days ago, he's not sure to be in same form here. Won this two years ago and second on recent reappearance, but this 10yo may be vulnerable. |

6th (20) (33/1 +0%) Shakem Up'arry |
33/1(+0%) | (20) Shakem Up'arry 33/1, Made a winning return at Exeter (19.2f) last winter prior to posting creditable in-the-frame efforts in handicaps thereafter, albeit possibly stretched by extended 3m at Aintree final start. Low-key return at Stratford 30 days ago though, and others rate stronger back up in class. Made the frame at Cheltenham/Aintree in the spring but pulled up on last month's return. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (7/1 +36%) Ga Law |
7/1(+36%) | (7) Ga Law 7/1, Landed last season's Paddy Power Gold Cup and still firmly in the mix when coming to grief at the last in Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster. Highly tried in 2 starts thereafter but he'll need to step up plenty on his Wetherby hurdles return 28 days ago. Cheekpieces go on. 1st preference 3.05 Newcastle. Cheekpieces could help his jumping; on a competitive mark and not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (18) (10/1 +0%) Bill Baxter |
10/1(+0%) | (18) Bill Baxter 10/1, Had a fine first season over fences, gaining fourth success when gamely landing the Topham over the National fences at Aintree (21f) in April. Satisfactory reappearance run on unfavourable terms when third at Carlisle (20f) 4 weeks ago. Up significantly in trip back from a wind op now. Four handicap wins last season; fair third on reappearance and retains potential. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (2) (14/1 +13%) Stolen Silver |
14/1(+13%) | (2) Stolen Silver 14/1, Largely campaigned at around 2½m as a chaser but he had no problem with step up in trip when making winning return at Chepstow (23.6f, heavy) in October, storming clear and eased close home. 7 lb higher now but that may not prove his limit now upped further in trip. Had loads in hand when upped to extended 2m7f at Chepstow on return; entitled to respect. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (3) (10/1 +0%) Midnight River |
10/1(+0%) | (3) Midnight River 10/1, Very smart handicap chaser who enjoyed a fine 2022/23, improving for the step up in trip when registering third success of the campaign at Aintree (25f) in April. Feasible to think he'll be sharper for his Charlie Hall reappearance third 4 weeks ago and he's of real interest. Won competitive 3m1f handicap at Aintree in April and could still have more to offer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (14) (33/1 -106%) Our Power |
33/1(-106%) | (14) Our Power 33/1, Hit the ground running last term, winning valuable handicaps at Ascot/Kempton (at around 3m). Best not judged too harshly on his run in the National at Aintree but entitled to come forward from his hurdles return 23 days ago. Cheekpieces back on returned to chasing. Form hit new heights last season and further improvement is possible; could be a threat. |

10th (8) (4/1 +43%) Complete Unknown |
4/1(+43%) | (8) Complete Unknown 4/1, Useful hurdler and even better following switch to chasing, impressive when landing 10-runner Kempton handicap (20.5f) in March. Second in Aintree Grade 1 final start and likely his reappearance success in 3-runner Newton Abbot chase will have brought him on. Respected for leading yard. Grade 1 novice chase runner-up at Aintree in April and has potential off his current mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (15) (9/1 +55%) Twig |
9/1(+55%) | (15) Twig 9/1, 8-y-o who boasts a good strike, adding to his chase tally in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter (26f) in July. Well backed, matched that level when second of 13 in handicap at Cheltenham in October. Remains low-mileage as a chaser. Progressive and runner-up at Cheltenham latest, but needs extra in this red-hot handicap. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (6) (33/1 -65%) Zanza |
33/1(-65%) | (6) Zanza 33/1, Enhanced his very good course record when landing Grade 2 Denman Chase in February before a good fourth in Greatwood Gold Cup. Entitled to be sharper for his reappearance run over hurdles 23 days ago but this mark demands that bit more now. Won Grade 2 Denman here in February; could go well at favourite track now back over fences. |

28/1(-40%) | (13) Kitty's Light 28/1, Most likeable staying chaser who signed off last season by landing an exceptional hat-trick, winning the Eider Chase, Scottish National and bet365 Gold Cup. Low-key efforts in 2 hurdle spins this term and he may have his sights on targets later in the campaign. Headgear back on. Completed notable marathon hat-trick this February/April; not ruled out now back chasing. |

|PU| (16) (9/1 +25%) Stumptown |
9/1(+25%) | (16) Stumptown 9/1, Successful in handicaps at Thurles/Sandown prior to a fine second in the Kim Muir at the Festival in March. May have found Irish National coming too soon the following month but hasn't threatened in a couple of starts during the summer. Comes here with yard in good form. Runner-up in Kim Muir at Cheltenham; contender on that form but needs to get back on track. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (12/1 +25%) Ahoy Senor |
12/1(+25%) | (1) Ahoy Senor 12/1, Top-class chaser who landed the Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham in January. Fell in Gold Cup next time but he enhanced his fine Aintree record when runner-up in Grade 1 Bowl a month later. Jumping again let him down on return in Charlie Hall but possibilities if putting it all together. Concedes lots of weight but can be a serious force if reproducing his best Grade 1 form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (22/1 +12%) Dusart |
22/1(+12%) | (4) Dusart 22/1, Quickly made up into a very smart performer during first half of 2022, winning 3 of his 4 starts at up to 3m. Things didn't go to plan confined to just 3 starts last term, brought down in Scottish National when last seen in April. This a tough enough assignment back from 7 months off. Highly talented in 2021-22 season; not written off but others have more pressing cases. |

|PU| (10) (33/1 -32%) Remastered |
33/1(-32%) | (10) Remastered 33/1, Made a winning return over hurdles prior to a big effort when second behind Le Milos in this race 12 months ago. Pulled up next 2 starts though and below best on return (following another wind op) over hurdles at Aintree 21 days ago. Worth a second look given his record in this race but a return to form is needed. |

|PU| (19) (50/1 +0%) Max Flamingo |
50/1(+0%) | (19) Max Flamingo 50/1, Landed a couple of maiden/novice chase contests during early 2022 but largely struggled over fences/hurdles thereafter last term. More encouraging signs in 2 starts over hurdles this campaign and whilst step back up in trip will suit this rates a difficult ask. His form has been patchy since he won a novice chase at Killarney (2m7f, good) in May 2022. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.
STOLEN SILVER returned to action to run out an easy six-length victor in a class 2 event over an extended 2m7f at Chepstow and a 7lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from taking this valuable prize too, with his stamina now proven. Complete Unknown, who chased home Gerri Colombe in a Grade 1 at the Grand National meeting back in the spring, just did enough in heavy ground at Newton Abbot on his comeback and has to be feared. So does Mahler Mission, who warmed up with an encouraging Carlisle second over an inadequate trip. Monbeg Genius' jumping let him down at Ascot but he is fancied to take a significant step forward.
Highly progressive in his novice season over fences, MONBEG GENIUS was undone by a mistake on his return at Ascot 4 weeks ago. The pick of his form last term, not least his third behind subsequent National hero Corach Rambler at Cheltenham in March, indicates he remains one to be interested in from this mark. Mahler Mission produced a solid comeback run at Carlisle and he's feared, along with Datsalrightgino. Complete Unknown and Midnight River complete the shortlist.
The Ultima form from Cheltenham in March has worked out exceptionally well and the third MONBEG GENIUS can fulfil that promise.

1st (4) (3/1 -9%) Shesupincourt |
3/1(-9%) | (4) Shesupincourt 3/1, Finally got off the mark in 3m handicap hurdle at Chepstow (23.6f, heavy) on penultimate start and looked unlucky when unseating on chase debut back at that venue 8 days ago. Can't be ruled out returned to smaller obstacles. Made all at Chepstow in November and in front when departing there next time; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (15/8 +77%) Pipers Cross |
15/8(+77%) | (5) Pipers Cross 15/8, Kelso bumper winner who made the frame in handicaps over hurdles earlier this year. Merely ticking over when last seen but has made an interesting yard switch ahead of this return to action, so worth a look from such a lowly mark. In fair form earlier in year and has joined a stable which has been among the winners. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (9/1 +36%) Well Paid Soldier |
9/1(+36%) | (6) Well Paid Soldier 9/1, Well held in 3 quick qualifying runs in the spring but yet to be asked for her effort when running out approaching 3 out on return/handicap debut at Chepstow (19.5f, heavy) in November. Cheekpieces go on now and she's not dismissed out of hand. Pushed along when running out on handicap debut; needs cheekpieces to have positive effect. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (14/1 -211%) Committee Of One |
14/1(-211%) | (7) Committee Of One 14/1, Fallen long way in weights since opening her account at Ffos Las during early 2021 and comfortably produced best effort for some time when third behind Shesupincourt at Chepstow 24 days ago. Task is to build on that now. Last month's third at Chepstow was a step back in the right direction; possibilities. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|U| (1) (7/1 +22%) Our Friend Mo |
7/1(+22%) | (1) Our Friend Mo 7/1, Third in her sole Irish point and showed ability in trio of mares' maiden/novice events earlier this year. May have needed the run when fourth behind Shesupincourt on handicap debut at Chepstow (23.6f) last month and can do better. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Last month's fourth on handicap debut was her worst run on ratings; cheekpieces on today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (5/1 -67%) Bushtucker Park |
5/1(-67%) | (3) Bushtucker Park 5/1, Took a step forward from previous exploits when fourth on handicap debut at Market Rasen (20.6f) in May. That race threw up winners and she shaped similarly on return when third at Warwick (19f, heavy) 24 days ago. Longer trip worth exploring and she's interesting. In frame last four starts; this longer trip should be in her favour; more solid than some. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (10/1 +17%) Lean On Me |
10/1(+17%) | (8) Lean On Me 10/1, Winner of sole completed start between the flags, but little short-term promise in 3 quick-fire hurdle runs this term. Still, pedigree offers hope she can do better and she goes handicapping now from a very low mark. One to monitor in the betting for clues. Well held so far but now makes her handicap debut off a basement mark. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
SHESUPINCOURT was unlucky to part company with her jockey on her chasing debut at Chepstow last week, but she was sent off favourite on the back of a success over the smaller obstacles there and can show her appreciation for the return to timber. Committee Of One and Our Friend Mo were third and fourth respectively in that race won by Ryan Potter's mare and a bigger threat now could come in the shape of Bushtucker Park, who made the frame at Warwick on the same day.
Claims can be made for plenty and it could just be worth chancing PIPERS CROSS. She appeals as being on a workable mark on the pick of last season's form and, having made an interesting yard switch ahead of her return, it would come as no surprise to see her thereabouts. Bushtucker Park and Shesupincourt are just a couple of others to consider.
Marginal preference is for BUSHTUCKER PARK who arrives in reasonable form and might be suited by this step up in distance.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
READ TO RETURN could be one to exploit a stone lower mark over flights compared to his chase mark. This Fame And Glory gelding has been interspersing hurdling and chasing to good effect, and delivered over fences at Killarney in October before being nearest at the finish in fifth in a handicap chase at Cheltenham. He gets in here off a very light weight. Hunting Brook has to rate a significant danger. Gordon Elliott's recruit from Britain has quickly run up two victories in Ireland and there is highly likely to be more to come, even though he has shot up to a mark of 104 from 86. Como Park showed his toughness when getting up to prevail in Cork and should be a factor for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore. Among the bigger-priced horses, Champion Green has talent but has endured spells on the sidelines.
Tony Martin might hold the key to this. ZANNDABAD should have plenty of scope from this opening handicap hurdle mark judged on his Flat ability and gets the nod, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Stablemate Read To Return caught the eye of the stewards in an amateur riders' chase at Cheltenham last month and is feared back hurdling under professional handling. Hunting Brook and Como Park, both last-time-out winners for top yards, complete the shortlist.
COMO PARK is on an upward curve in this sphere now and a 9lb rise may not be enough to stop him going in again

16/1(-78%) | (2) Carved In Stone 16/1, Mastercraftsman gelding. Fifth of 11 in bumper (5/1) at Ludlow (15.8f, soft) on NH debut 23 days ago, plugging on. Entitled to be sharper with that run under his belt and booking of Brian Hughes catches the eye. Fifth of 11 at Ludlow three weeks ago; has some ground to make up with Gore Point. |

2nd (3) (9/4 +18%) Caustic |
9/4(+18%) | (3) Caustic 9/4, Galileo gelding. Definite promise when runner-up in 15-runner Exeter bumper (13f) on debut in October, not quicken only approaching final 1f. Tongue strap fitted now and he could yet do better. Pleasing start when second of 15 at Exeter; this longer trip may suit; high on the list. |

3rd (11) (12/1 -140%) Rockola |
12/1(-140%) | (11) Rockola 12/1, Jukebox Jury filly who displayed ability when third of 9 in bumper (7/2) at Stratford (16.3f, heavy) on NH debut 30 days ago, outpaced early in straight and plugging on. Appeals on paper for yard who continue in fine form and another to monitor closely in the betting for clues. Closely related/half-brother to three useful Flat performers; interesting newcomer. |

5th (4) (11/1 +31%) Gold For Alec |
11/1(+31%) | (4) Gold For Alec 11/1, Planteur gelding. Half-brother to fair French hurdler/chaser Gold For Nizzy. Dam, useful maiden on Flat in France, half-sister to useful hurdler (2m winner) Max Dynamite. Market should guide on debut. Plausible pedigree for a race of this type; stable 4-34 in bumpers in last five seasons. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (15/2 +38%) Spitfire Bridge |
15/2(+38%) | (8) Spitfire Bridge 15/2, Sixties Icon gelding. Brother to 2 winners, including fair hurdler Graffiti. Offered something to work on when fifth of 14 in bumper at Huntingdon (13.7f, good to firm, 17/2) on NH debut 53 days ago. Longer trip here promises to suit. Never dangerous when fifth of 14 at Huntingdon in October; could improve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (22/1 -120%) Mapogo |
22/1(-120%) | (6) Mapogo 22/1, 20,000 gns 3-y-o, Roaring Lion gelding. Dam, smart 1m-11.6f winner, half-sister to useful hurdler (2m winner) Distant Memories. Failed by a long way to meet expectations when well held in bumper at Exeter (13.2f, soft, 5/2) on NH debut 39 days ago. Tongue strap on. Soundly beaten on debut at Exeter but went off favourite and is seemingly well regarded. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (33/1 -136%) Miss Mink |
33/1(-136%) | (9) Miss Mink 33/1, Passing Glance filly. 9/2, sixth of 9 in bumper at Stratford (16.3f, heavy) on NH debut 30 days ago, running green and unable to land a blow. Unable to challenge when sixth of nine at Stratford; may well improve markedly. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (22/1 -38%) Raise Your Glass |
22/1(-38%) | (10) Raise Your Glass 22/1, Jack Hobbs filly. Dam (c125/h114) 19f-2¾m hurdle/chase winner. Makes appeal on debut and worth noting if market vibes are positive. Bred for longer distances and obstacles so could be more of a long-term prospect. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (7/2 -17%) Gore Point |
7/2(-17%) | (5) Gore Point 7/2, Order of St George gelding. Half-brother to 2 winners on Flat, including useful 1½m winner Scampi. Encouraging debut run when second of 11 in bumper at Ludlow (15.7f) 23 days ago, faring best of those held up. Entitled to have learned from that and he's worth considering now tongue tied. Better the further he went when second at Ludlow; this track should play to his strengths. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (1) (125/1 -150%) Beaming Light |
125/1(-150%) | (1) Beaming Light 125/1, Harbour Law gelding. Showed more temperament than ability in a Huntingdon bumper on debut 53 days ago, hanging badly left home turn and running out. Passed over on the back of that here. Hung badly and ran out on debut; difficult to recommend. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Having made a pleasing start to his career when occupying the runner-up berth over 1m5f at Exeter, improvement can be expected from CAUSTIC. Owen Burrows' youngster shaped as if this step up in trip would suit and he is likely to come on for the run. Gore Point should also be thereabouts after a good second on his first taste of competitive action at Ludlow, while Stratford third Rockola makes most appeal of the remainder.
GORE POINT produced a promising first effort when runner-up in a Ludlow bumper 23 days ago, faring best of those held up and, equipped with a first-time tongue tie, he gets the nod to build on that here and go one place better. Caustic also filled the runners-up spot on debut at Exeter recently and he's feared. Rockola and Mapogo are others to keep an eye on.
Gore Point is much respected but marginal preference is for the Owen Burrows-trained CAUSTIC who also shaped well on his debut.

1st (1) (9/2 +55%) Elixir De Nutz |
9/2(+55%) | (1) Elixir De Nutz 9/2, Upped his form over fences last season, scoring at Wincanton in January before good runner-up efforts in Game Spirit over C&D and Ayr. Matched personal best when taking Haldon Gold Cup under this pilot at Exeter (17.5f, soft) last month and looks sure to give another good account. Won the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter three weeks ago and can give another good account. |

2nd (3) (4/6 +81%) Master Chewy |
4/6(+81%) | (3) Master Chewy 4/6, Much improved since switching to chasing, scoring on debut at Aintree (15.8f) before good second of 9 in handicap over same C&D 21 days ago, clear of rest (only 6 of the scheduled 12 fences jumped). 6 lb higher now but likely has more to offer yet. A win and a close second from his first two chase starts; key player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (6/1 +33%) Xcitations |
6/1(+33%) | (2) Xcitations 6/1, Dual scorer last term who got back to winning ways when taking 6-runner handicap chase (9/2) at Sandown (15.4f, good to soft) 20 days ago. 4 lb rise not excessive but this looks more competitive. Won at Sandown three weeks ago but probably needs a career-best in this hotter race. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (14/1 +13%) The Russian Doyen |
14/1(+13%) | (6) The Russian Doyen 14/1, Useful during his time with Colin Tizzard and bounced back to something like his best when scoring over C&D for this yard in February of last year. Not seen for 20 months, however, and is likely best watched. 2 lb out of the handicap. Stable is in good form but this 10yo has a very hefty absence to defy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (7/1 +50%) Bollingerandkrug |
7/1(+50%) | (5) Bollingerandkrug 7/1, Bold-jumping gelding who progressed again when winning for the fourth time over fences at Kelso (17.1f, soft) last month. 4 lb rise fair but finds himself in a deeper contest now. In fine form at Kelso this year; could continue to progress but goes up in grade today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (22/1 -10%) Calgary Tiger |
22/1(-10%) | (7) Calgary Tiger 22/1, Little worthwhile form over hurdles but he made it 2-2 over fences when scoring at this course in March. Not disgraced in Wincanton hat-trick bid later that month but faces a stiff task from 12 lb out of the handicap on return here. Two wins earlier this year but he's 12lb out of the handicap for this reappearance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.
Master Chewy has taken really well to fences, almost completing an Aintree double (Real Stone back in fourth last time), and he could have a say after a further 6lb hike. However, the vote still goes to top-weight ELIXIR DE NUTZ, who lifted the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter after taking a big step forward from his seasonal reappearance, and a 5lb rise looks on the lenient side. Bollingerandkrug is in cracking form and completes the shortlist.
MASTER CHEWY is going the right way in this sphere and lost little in defeat when runner-up in a messy race at Aintree 3 weeks ago. He can resume winning ways in the finale. Impressive Haydock scorer Real Stone and the likeable Elixir de Nutz can give him most to think about.
The 6yo MASTER CHEWY is thriving and is taken to make it 2-3 over fences. Real Stone could be a big danger.

Half-brother to useful hurdler/smart chaser Potterman. 33/1, showed ability when midfield in 13-runner Newbury bumper (16.3f) run in tough conditions 23 days ago, weakening from 3f out. May do better. Left toiling from over 3f out when sixth of 13 at Newbury three weeks ago; this is weaker. |

15/2(+6%) | (4) Joyeux Mans 15/2, €18,000 3-y-o, Cokoriko gelding. Dam maiden hurdler/chaser in France. Pulled up sole start in points (Apr 30). Market should prove a useful guide. Pulled up in an Irish point in April but worth a market check. |

5/4(-51%) | (1) Gallonray 5/4, €75,000 3-y-o, Westerner gelding. Brother to fair hurdler Kingofthewest, from good family. Highly respected on debut for yard who are no stranger to success in this sphere. Makes some appeal on pedigree and trainer has a healthy strike-rate in bumpers. |

4th (3) (9/4 -50%) Isholo Du Vivien |
9/4(-50%) | (3) Isholo Du Vivien 9/4, €25,000 3-y-o. Dam hurdle/chase winner in France. Successful on last of 4 starts in Irish points (Oct 7). Plenty of appeal. Four goes in Irish points, winning in good style on last of them; new yard does well here. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
ISHOLO DU VIVIEN broke through at the fourth attempt between the flags with an emphatic all-the-way triumph on his return to the fray and, if he brings that level of form to his debut under Rules, he could prove too strong. Better is expected from Guard The Moon now he has a Newbury run under his belt, with the experience expected to help him settle much better now. Olly Murphy went to 75,000 euros for Gallonray, but he also held an entry at Musselburgh on Friday.
The market will prove informative but GALLONRAY makes plenty of appeal on paper for a stable no stranger to success in this sphere and could be the way to go. Isholo du Vivien, successful on his latest start in points in October, may emerge as the chief threat on debut for Donald McCain.
A clearcut winner on his most recent run in points, ISHOLO DU VIVIEN can provide Donald McCain with another success at his local track.

6th (6) (7/1 +13%) The Other Mozzie |
7/1(+13%) | (6) The Other Mozzie 7/1, Improved on debut form after 6 months off when second of 9 in bumper (7/2) at Galway (16.4f, heavy) 5 weeks ago, no match for winner. Has experience on his side but likely to find a few too strong. 2nd in a point and improved on rules debut when 2nd at Galway in October; form boosted. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
A small field, but a fiendishly difficult race for punters. Gordon Elliott introduces two expensive point-to-point winners in Binge Worthy and Jalon D'oudairies, who were both the subject of positive reports in a stable tour, while Willie Mullins takes the wraps off Inn At the Park, a son of Walk In The Park. It is probable that all three will have above-average careers on the track. A chance is taken on Gavin Cromwell's THE OTHER MOZZIE, though. He was well backed in Galway at the end of October, but finished second to what looked a very useful winner. His race fitness ought to stand to him against the aforementioned track newcomers.
Gordon Elliott/Willie Mullins look set to dominate this closing bumper and its £420,000 4-y-o point winner JALON D'OUDAIRIES who gets the nod to come out on top before the benefit of market clues. Stablemate Binge Worthy was also successful on his sole outing in points so he can give the selection most to think about, ahead of Willie Mullins' Inn At The Park.
THE OTHER MOZZIE seems to be improving with each run and the form of his recent bumper 2nd has been boosted by two in behind since
Ths is the racecard key.
