11:00 Southwell Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

TIEMPO ALEGRE needed every yard of the trip when she edged out Kaleidoscope Eyes over 7f here last week and with the additional furlong considered a likely source of progression, the Jack Jones-trained filly can cement her authority over the runner-up under a 6lb penalty. Precious Spartan has experience over this trip and is a serious threat after a near-miss at Newcastle a fortnight ago. Majestic Heights, a 7f winner at Brighton most recently, is respected off 6lb higher on his Tapeta debut.

KALEIDOSCOPE EYES was suited by the return to a longer trip when runner-up at this course a week ago, collared close home having looked the likely winner for much of the straight, and she can reverse the placings with Tiempo Alegre who has to carry a penalty for that success. Flaine has been going well for her current yard and completes the shortlist.

A 6lb pull should be enough for KALEIDOSCOPE EYES to reverse last week's course running with Tiempre Alegre.

11:30 Southwell Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A 5lb penalty imposed for an all-the-way Wolverhampton success might not be enough to prevent FITZ PERFECTLY from registering a quickfire double. A handy draw on the inside is an added bonus for the Danny Brooke-trained filly, whose improved form since joining the yard has been notable. Northern Cracksman and Urban Dandy are suggested as the two main dangers to the selection, although Tapeta winner Mr Heinz is not ruled out in this company.

If TENYATTA can recapture the form she showed when narrowly denied on her previous course visit she might prove the answer to the first division of this 1m handicap. Mr Trick could have fared better with the draw but looks fairly treated on the form he showed when placed twice last month. Northern Craftsman is also shortlisted along with recent Wolverhampton scorer Fitz Perfectly.

The vote goes to MASHAM MOOR who has dropped 2lb lower than when gaining his second C&D success back in April.

11:45 Uttoxeter Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Saint Anapolino has chased home decent prospects from the Paul Nicholls stable on his last couple of starts, including on his return to action when making his hurdling bow at Taunton. He should break through sooner rather than later, and Stone's Throw also has races in him judged on his Ludlow third. GET THE BEAT has twice been soundly beaten since joining Dan Skelton but the form of his latest Carlisle third is strong, with the winner going on to land a Grade 2, and he can show his appreciation for the return to 2m.

SAINT ANAPOLINO has shaped well on his three runs under Rules to date and this point bumper scorer is taken to get off the mark in this sphere at the chief expense of Dan Skelton's Blue Bresil newcomer Delgany Deadline. Stone's Throw and Get The Beat look the duo best equipped to fight it out for minor honours.

This isn't a strong maiden, in which SAINT ANAPOLINO not only brings some of the best form but perhaps the most potential as well.

12:00 Southwell Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ELETTARIA wasn't beaten far over this trip at Newcastle last month and may be able to make the most of a potentially competitive mark given she sits on a rating 2lb below her only previous winning figure on the all-weather. From 2lb below her last (turf) handicap success, Available Angel also appeals and has to be worth another try over this distance after performing with credit over 7f here and at Wolverhampton. Ajrad and Ciara Storm complete the shortlist.

It might be worth chancing CHARLATAN to bounce back to form from his reduced mark. Ajrad, Elettaria and Available Angel head the dangers.

It may be worth taking a chance with the maiden CIARA STORM. The form of her latest fifth at Wolverhampton has worked out well.

12:20 Uttoxeter Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Ebselysees took a big step forward for a rise in trip when breaking through over just short of two and a half miles at Huntingdon. The further step up in distance should help her even more, but the 7lb she has to concede to DAZZLELIKETHIS may find her out. The five-year-old got closest to an Irish raider who easily justified odds-on favouritism at Carlisle and meets nothing of that calibre here. Better is expected from English Willow now she has a Chepstow run under her belt.

DAZZLELIKETHIS shaped well on her Carlisle hurdle debut and can make the most of the weight she receives from Huntingdon-scorer Ebselysees in what may develop into a straight fight between the pair.

Preference is for DAZZLELIKETHIS who is entitled to step up on her pleasing run at Carlisle. Ebselysees is the danger.

12:32 Southwell Handicap (Class 3) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Sugar Hill Babe bids for a hat-trick of C&D wins, but faces a tougher assignment in this higher grade and raised a further 4lb. Ziggy's Missile reappeared after a layoff with a solid effort at Wolverhampton and merits consideration, although BEDFORD FLYER makes most appeal. Mick Appleby's sprinter led for a lot of the way over track and trip on his return from a short break and is fancied to make a bold bid in this lower grade with that outing under his belt.

ZIGGY'S MISSILE is taken to build on a good second at Wolverhampton now back at the scene of his last 2 wins. Sugar Hill Babe is bidding for a hat-trick over this C&D and is feared most ahead of Acklam Express.

This is a step up in class for SUGAR HILL BABE but this progressive sprinter can take it in her stride. Bedford Flyer is next best.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

IRISH HILL filled the runner-up spot in this grade at Wincanton last month and competes off the same rating. Paul Nicholls' six-year-old is a previous course winner and it would be no surprise to see him make it two wins from his last three starts. Don Rafael returned to winning ways at Hereford on his most recent start, but this looks like a much tougher assignment off 5lb higher. Of the remainder, Stoner's Choice makes the most appeal.

DOUBLE POWERFUL can land a remarkable 7-timer, having posted a career-best effort at Cheltenham 35 days ago, and he can get the job done again. There are a host of notable challengers, led by Champagne Twist whose victory in the EBF Final handicap at Sandown should not be forgotten. The unexposed East India Express could be dangerous if ready to roll on seasonal return.

This is best left to DOUBLE POWERFUL (nap) who bids for seven wins on the trot. Champagne Twist is feared most.

My Friend Sean was backed to do much better than he did at Chepstow and there will be plenty who keep the faith. Night Jet's Leicester third offered encouragement but a chance is taken on the fitness of HENRY GRAY, who was in decent form over fences when last seen. Zain Farhh and V Power could show more now entering the handicap ranks.

WILMCOTE hasn't offered much in 3 starts over hurdles to date but the promise she displayed in bumpers previously offers hope she could yet do better now her attentions switch to handicaps in this sphere and she could be worth chancing with the Olly Murphy yard continuing in fine form. 13:07 Southwell Stakes (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FARANDAWAY looks to have solid claims back in novice company. Grant Tuer's charge found only one too strong in a nursery here last week and he should have the beating of Captain Kinsella on these terms. The latter is penalised for winning at Newcastle but might have more to offer, while Cemlyn showed plenty of early pace when fourth over 6f on debut and this shorter trip will suit. Coul Angel and Hello Zaman are newcomers to note.

FARANDAWAY has finished runner-up all 4 starts, but he showed improved form when beaten only by a fellow nursery debutant at this C&D a week ago, so he is taken to open his account this time around. Blinky wasn't seen to best effect after a break last time and could be the main danger, while Cemlyn is open to improvement after her promising debut.

The choice is CAPTAIN KINSELLA who has proved a different horse since being gelded and switching to AW. He could prove hard to catch.

13:20 Ascot Maiden Hurdle (Class 3) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Point-to-point winner Tommy The Tank showed lots of ability to take the silver medal home on his first outing over hurdles at Fontwell in October and, with normal progression, he could have a say. However, it's hard to ignore the claims of BELLIANO. The son of Black Sam Bellamy only found a subsequent winner too good on his debut under Rules at Chepstow and should have plenty more to offer. Country Park is another to note.

Having bumped into a high-calibre novice in The New Lion on his Rules debut, BELLIANO is strongly fancied to go one better with improvement on the cards at the expense of Country Park, who has shown plenty in a handful of starts over timber and promises to be suited by this increase in trip. Block Rockin Beats ran a couple of cracking races in Cheltenham bumpers in recent weeks, so he completes the shortlist along with Followcato.

Belliano has good prospects but a chance is taken that NOT SO WOOLLY will take a big step forward to eclipse him thanks to the trip.

13:30 Uttoxeter Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Knockanore was beaten six lengths into second in this grade at Southwell on his latest outing and holds an obvious chance off an unchanged mark. However, it may pay to side with FLASH IN THE PARK, who was victorious over C&D when making his second start for the Dan Skelton stable. The six-year-old only has a 4lb higher mark to contend with and could complete a double. Heros De Romay is another to take seriously.

FLASH IN THE PARK took a big step forward on just his second start for Dan Skelton when a recent C&D scorer and is fancied to make light of a 4 lb rise in the weights here. Ostend and Heros de Romay both look to have better days ahead of them too and rate the chief threats, with Seefin and Knockanore also in the picture.

It was a nice first effort over fences by TARAS HALLS (nap) and his best hurdling form suggests he might be nicely handicapped.

13:42 Southwell Handicap (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SECTARIUS won at Newcastle before just missing out at the same venue. Due to be raised 4lb for that latest effort, Ed Bethell's charge can take advantage and resume winning ways. Kitty Furnival finished a creditable third when on a hat-trick at Wolverhampton, despite being hampered, and can feature in the finish once again. Dunstan has won four times on Tapeta and is entitled to respect off his current mark, having been gelded since last in action.

The strong-travelling SECTARIUS has performed admirably for new connections, winning on stable debut and following up with an excellent second when asked to make ground from a long way back. Those efforts make him a leading player. The consistent Kitty Furnival is respected, and can give the selection most to think about, while No Surrender looks worth another try back up in trip.

Preference is for SECTARIUS who has shown improvement since stepping up in trip for his new yard. Kitty Furnival is feared most.

13:55 Ascot Handicap Chase (Class 3) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Here Comes Georgie made his second chase start a successful one when scoring at Wetherby last month and he should mount a bold bid off only a 3lb higher rating. However, IBERICO LORD gets the nod. Nicky Henderson's six-year-old struck in good style on his chasing debut at Kempton and holds an entry in the Arkle at the Cheltenham Festival. He could put these to the sword before moving up the class ladder, while Ryan's Rocket can beat Western Zephyr home for third.

RYAN'S ROCKET created a good impression when making a winning chase/handicap bow at Chepstow 4 weeks ago and remains on a fair mark up 7 lb. The obvious threat is Iberico Lord, who made a satisfactory start to his chasing career when winning a maiden at Kempton and has the scope to do a lot better on hurdles form.

With his jumping having got better as the race progressed on his chase debut at Kempton, IBERICO LORD can make it 2-2 over fences.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Pats Dream justified favouritism at Market Rasen last month and he should give a good account in his bid to complete a hat-trick. However, the vote goes to LUNAR OCEAN, who has finished second on each of his three starts for the Billy Aprahamian stable. The five-year-old goes off only a 2lb higher mark than his most recent Leicester second and can be rewarded for his consistency. Emotional Roller is another to note.

PATS DREAM has shown improved form for his new yard, showing a good attitude when making it back-to-back wins at Market Rasen last month, and he can go on to score again with cheekpieces reapplied. Emotional Roller made an encouraging chasing debut and is feared most back up in trip, ahead of Try The Money.

6yo TRY THE MONEY showed winning potential off this sort of mark over hurdles and his chase debut was encouraging.

14:17 Southwell Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A comfortable winner here in October, and placed twice since at Wolverhampton, COME ON JOHN narrowly sets the standard on recent form and he can notch up a sixth career success. That may be at the main expense of Fiftyshadesaresdev, who has been runner-up on three of his last four starts, including twice here. Kojin is another to consider, as are Opticality and Zousca.

Cases can be made for several, but the vote goes to COME ON JOHN, who has made a fine start for current connections and went down by just a head at Wolverhampton on Monday. Zousca got going much too late last month and having switched yards since, she could give the selection most to think about. Opticality and Fiftyshadesaresdev can fight out minor honours.

Top of the list is COME ON JOHN, who won here in October and had a near miss off today's mark at Wolverhampton on Monday.

14:30 Ascot Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOLDEN MOVE had his handicap debut over hurdles won some way out at Wincanton 15 days ago and there is likely more to come. An 8lb hike in the ratings shouldn't be the ceiling of the four-year-old's ability and he's fancied to follow up. The biggest threat may emerge from We're Red And Blue, who made all in a maiden hurdle at Carlisle last month. Fasol, a stablemate of the selection, must also enter calculations.

Paul Nicholls looks to hold a strong hand, with recent Wincanton handicap debut scorer GOLDEN MOVE preferred to Fasol, even though Harry Cobden partners the latter. King WiIliam Rufus, Byron Hill and Toonagh Warrior arrive in form and are just a few of many others who could go well in this competitive race.

The 4yo WE'RE RED AND BLUE is a likeable prospect for the O'Neill stable and is taken to follow up his maiden hurdle win at Carlisle.

14:40 Uttoxeter Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Last month's Doncaster winner LET'S GO JOE has improved with each run since reappearing at Sedgefield in October and another bold showing is on the cards. The form of the Town Moor success was franked by the second scoring at Catterick on Tuesday and a 5lb higher mark looks workable. Another Lord capped of last season's campaign with a breakthrough victory at Hereford and he's feared most. Intersky Sunset and Wonderweasle are others to consider.

WONDERWEASLE has taken her form up a notch since being upped in trip and, having been narrowly denied at Ffos Las last month, Tim Vaughan's mare is selected to double her tally at the expense of Let's Go Joe, who was a game winner at Doncaster last month and should remain competitive following a 5 lb rise. Stable-switcher Intersky Sunset and Emma Hamilton are another couple to consider in what looks a wide-open contest.

The Ffos Las regular WONDERWEASLE and the Doncaster scorer Let's Go Joe make most appeal. Tim Vaughan's mare is narrowly preferred.

A consistent sort without getting her head in front, Dark Lyric is capable of being in the shake-up as well.

The betting should reveal plenty here but the Gosdens' Night Of Thunder newcomer PICTURESQUE is taken to go in at the first time of asking ahead of Roger Varian's returning Tarqeez who could have more to offer after an absence. Dark Lyric and Grabajabba appeal as the pick of the rest and also need factoring into this open-looking novice.

The vote goes to newcomer PICTURESQUE, who has a striking pedigree and represents a yard with a 45% record with 3yos here this year.

15:05 Ascot Maiden Chase (Class 1) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Although JOHNNYWHO was a little underwhelming when finishing third in the Grade 2 John Francome Novices' Chase at Newbury three weeks ago, that looked a deeper contest and he might be able to get back on track. Chase debutant Mark Of Gold arrives on the back of a solid second at Plumpton and he may give the selection most to think about, ahead of Rare Edition, who should put the experience of last month's C&D second to good use.

JOHNNYWHO is sure to come into his own over further but may get away with the drop in trip here in what looks a weak Grade 2. Rare Edition has taken well to fences, including around here, so is feared most.

Grade 2 novice hurdle winner PERSONAL AMBITION could be suited by now going right-handed over fences and he earns the vote.

15:15 Uttoxeter Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Palawan Du Mazet ran well enough when fifth at Chepstow last month to be seriously considered in what looks a weaker race today and a 2lb drop in the ratings also helps his chances. He isn't taken lightly, but it could be worth taking a chance on HENRYSBROTHERJACK improving for a step up in trip. Although the son of Jack Hobbs has failed to fire in five outings over hurdles, this 2m4f distance could be the making of him. West Park Boy and Joker De Thaix are also noted.

In what looks a modest handicap hurdle, it will be interesting to see if there is a springer in the market. A solid case can be made for REHILL RELIC who confirmed the promise of his novice hurdle efforts when placed at Doncaster three weeks ago and a repeat performance will see him in the mix here. Palawan du Mazet is another who has a respectable recent run to his name while Joker de Thaix, returning from a short break, represents a yard that is more than capable of readying one.

3m point winner TAKE A HIKE makes her handicap debut off a basement mark and could improve for the step up in trip.

15:27 Southwell Handicap (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DASHING PANTHER continues to go from strength to strength and stepping up further in trip may bring about more improvement as he bids to land the hat-trick. An 8lb rise for his most recent success looks manageable and he may have too much for the unexposed Emaculate Soldier, who makes his handicap debut for new connections after occupying the runner-up berth over 1m4f here twice earlier in the year. A respectable second at Wolverhampton when attempting to supplement a Newcastle success, Little Peter cannot be ruled out either.

The handicapper may have been lenient leaving LITTLE PETER's mark unchanged given he pulled a long way clear of the third at Newcastle and he's taken to deny Dashing Panther the hat-trick. Emaculate Soldier is an unexposed handicap newcomer who would also enter the reckoning if the betting vibes are positive on this first outing for Archie Watson.

Preference is for DASHING PANTHER (nap), who has won at Chelmsford in his last two runs and is open to further progress upped to 2m.

15:40 Ascot NH Flat Race (Class 1) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

There are plenty of smart prospects on show in what should prove to be a strong bumper. Dan Skelton landed last year's contest with Let It Rain, and another victory could be on the cards courtesy of MONEYGARROW. The son of Shantou followed up his ready victory between the flags when scoring in good fashion on his Rules bow at Chepstow in October. Fresh Perspective boasts a similar profile after last month's triumph at Uttoxeter and he merits consideration along with Doctor Blue, while market support for Rules newcomer No Drama This End would also be interesting.

Plenty of potential on show in this 4-y-o listed bumper with MONEYGARROW arguably the pick of the bunch given the impression he created at Chepstow in October. Windbeneathmywings has been sold privately having won a brace of Irish bumpers and he demands respect, with Doctor Blue perhaps the one open to most progress.

It's full of good prospects but slight preference is for STEP AHEAD who left a good impression with his second at Haydock in May.

16:15 Dundalk Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LUNIGIANA has been frustrating to follow but has nonetheless shown some smart form and might now get her turn. A half-sister to reinstated recent English Cesarewitch winner Alphonse Le Grande, the selection has shown plenty of pace, finishing third over 5f at Listed level in August, and while previously defeated in six maidens, ran well over C&D last month. She holds Happy For Evva on that form and that rival subsequently disappointed when racing too keenly over 7f. Sharkii has shown reasonable form in maidens, while Karney is from the extended family of Arc winner Rail Link and could have ability.

LUNIGIANA scores plenty of points for her consistency and this could be the day where it all clicks and she opens her account. Sharkil is the main form danger, with Pedal To Themetal perhaps the pick of the newcomers.

Lunigiana is closely matched with HAPPY FOR EVVA on their C&D clash and Alan McIntyre's filly is taken to come out on top this time

16:30 Wolverhampton Maiden (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Perfect Life caught the eye when making the frame on his introduction at Southwell and that experience will stand him in good stead. In KING OF NARNIA, though, he comes up against a well-related son of Kingman who will have undergone further education since refusing to go into the stalls on his intended debut at Kempton. Ray Gun was a 135,000-euro breeze-up purchase, while A War Eagle's price rose to 75,000 euros as a yearling, and both are other newcomers to consider.

An ordinary maiden in all likelihood and the smartly-bred KING OF NARNIA is taken to make a winning start. Perfect Life showed plenty to work on when third at Southwell and looks the obvious threat.

Pedigree and the Gosdens' record in this sphere point us towards a winning debut for KING OF NARNIA.

16:45 Dundalk Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHAADEN has shown consistency recently and should compete in an open handicap. A half-sister to a dual Group 3 winner, she has taken well to this all-weather surface and although beaten under a 7lb claimer when running over a mile here recently, nonetheless again ran well and reverting to this distance suits. Recent winner Darkdeserthighway managed a win over 6f in 2021 but is more effective at a mile, while Touch The Sound tries this distance for the first time having won an ordinary course maiden last month. Eight-time winner Comfort Line is unpenalised for landing a recent claimer but faces a stiffer test, although he can confirm placings with Nikki Swango (third) and Shoot To Kill (sixth).

This is wide open but C&D scorer SHAADEN rates the pick of the weights on the back of his very good recent third here so edges the vote. Course-specialist Comfort Line is always to be feared round here and next on the list with Touch The Sound, Brains and Rampage all in the picture too.

Touch The Sound could take some pegging back but Pat Flynn's SHAADEN can gain her third win in four starts with Billy Lee back on

17:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HIPPOCRATIC OATH may have had to settle for second when on a hat-trick mission at Kempton, but there was enough merit in his performance to earn a further 2lb rise. That doesn't come into effect until after this, though, and he can take full advantage. Fernando has also burst into life since entering nurseries and came within a whisker of supplementing his Yarmouth triumph at Southwell. There is more to come from him, while My Mate Beattie is worth a look on her first start in a handicap.

Progressive-pair HIPPOCRATIC OATH and Fernando are the pair to focus on, with narrow preference for the former.

He was unable to complete the hat-trick last week, but HIPPOCRATIC OATH is officially 2lb well-in before his new mark comes into force.

17:15 Dundalk Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ARATAYVO returned from 129 days off when finishing second over C&D last month and might benefit from that run. Out of a half-sister to Group 1 winner Lethal Force, he showed form as a juvenile prior to being lightly raced on turf this summer. Having finished ahead of today's race-fit rival Whisper A Prayer last month, can now be counted upon to run a solid race. Three horses carry ratings of 77, which gives them a theoretical edge over the selection, but Dahab would prefer further, Molto Amichi debuts on the all-weather, while Mythical Rock was beaten by Dahab recently, although is now 10lb better off.

WHISPER A PRAYER arrives on the up so looks the way to go here. My Little Lady also has the form to play a part and could emerge as the main danger with Wrob And Wryan, Aratayvo and Mythical Rock all worthy of consideration too.

MY LITTLE LADY outran large odds when a big eyecatcher over C&D latest and will now have the services of Colin Keane

17:30 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MEHMAS SHY ANGEL went into a few notebooks when a never-nearer seventh on debut at Kempton. She is expected to come on significantly from the outing and is preferred to Never Let Go and Astral Sea, who also showed promise first time out. As a half-sister to St Leger hero Masked Marvel who is from the family of Arc winner Waldgeist, Warm Glow is expected to come into her own over further so Kubey might be the pick of the newcomers.

MEHMAS SHY ANGEL caught the eye with the late progress she made when mid-field in a Kempton novice on debut and she's preferred to newcomers Kubey and Left Over Love.

Probably the best form on offer is that of NEVER LET GO who was a decent sixth at Newmarket last month. Mehmas Shy Angel is next.

17:45 Dundalk Stakes 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DABOYA won on her all-weather debut over C&D and subsequently joined current connections following a 27,000-euro sale. Her form was unexciting prior to last month's win but dropped in distance then, with that form being boosted by the fifth-placed horse winning subsequently. Ten-time winner Sayifyouwill is quirky and has refused to load twice recently, but won a claimer very easily when tried over this distance last month. Most of her form is at 7f and she was defeated in a recent claimer, but reverting to a mile could suit as she boomerangs back to previous connections. Eyema Candy Girl won nicely on debut but steps up in class, while Tribal Moon runs in first-time blinkers.

TRIBAL MOON has taken well to this surface, opening his account over C&D in November prior to a very good second back here 7 days ago. He gets the nod to come out on top equipped with first-time blinkers. Debut-scorer Eyema Candy Girl is clearly open to improvement now her stamina is tested further and along with Stephen Thorne's pair, Perfect Judgement and Sayifyouwill, heads the dangers in a tightly-knit affair.

Proleek Prince will ensure there's a strong pace to aim at and that should set the race up nicely for TRIBAL MOON late on

18:00 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MYSTERY OF LOVE showed improvement from her first to her second start when running on for third at Southwell and she is entitled to step forward again. William Haggas' filly gets the vote ahead of Lightning Force, who has switched yards since a promising fourth at Kempton in June, when not beaten far over this distance. Mother Mara could be a different proposition on the all-weather, while Kon Tiki is an intriguing newcomer for the Jane Chapple-Hyam team.

Those with previous experience set only a fair standard and it could pay to side with newcomer KON TIKI. She makes obvious appeal on paper as a half-sister to a smart all-weather performer and market confidence behind her would look significant. Mystery of Love and Bintjan head the dangers, along with Mother Mara.

Lightning Force sets the benchmark but she could prove vulnerable off a six-month break so the newcomer KON TIKI rates as the pick.

18:15 Dundalk Handicap 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CURIOUS BRIDE just sneaks into this grade again after a recent 3lb drop and stepping back up to two miles should suit her. The Excelebration mare was niggled along early on on her last visit here over a mile and a half and didn't run too badly when seventh in a competitive contest. This looks a nice opportunity and Sam Coen takes a useful 7lb off her back. Rockview Consort has run some solid races over shorter here recently and is another mare who may appreciate going further again. Inchiquin Maid makes her first start for Chris Timmons and is also one who has to come into calculations, having been placed here last month.

HARRY'S LEGACY needs to dispel his latest run over hurdles 7 weeks ago, but he's on a handy mark on the pick of his Flat form and could be worth chancing to bounce back. Rockview Consort and Inchquin Maid are others to consider, as is Dumb Love.

A chance is taken here on MOVIE KING, unlucky in running here last time but down another 2lb with blinkers tried

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A tad unlucky not to get his head in front when carried right at the finish over C&D last time out, ROSENPUR may be able to gain compensation on this occasion. He can break the maiden at the 15th time of asking, with recent Chelmsford scorer Profitman and C&D winner Split Elevens heading the list of dangers. Others to note include Reputation, Rob's Umberella and Valadero.

ROSENPUR looked unlucky not to open his account having been caught further back than ideal when runner-up over C&D 11 days ago and, with that performance backed up by the clock, he's fancied to make a bold bid to deservedly shed the maiden tag. Last-time-out winners Profitman and Reputation are a couple of likely threats, as is another in=form sort, Valadero.

A shade unlucky here last time, SPLIT ELEVENS has winning C&D form and gets the vote to repeat the feat.

18:45 Dundalk Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GALLO DELL CIELO has bumped into one on his last couple of visits and wouldn't be winning out of turn. He proved no match for the highly progressive The Real Screamer here nine days ago but it was still a solid effort in second and, off just 1lb higher, he's capable of landing one of these. Stepping up in trip may help. Lord Talbot was a convincing winner on his handicap debut here last month and has to be respected, despite a 6lb rise for that performance. Deed Pole, a Poet's Word gelding, takes a significant step up in trip and is another for the shortlist.

RANKO EXPRESS arguably should have won under this rider here last week and can make amends over a trip he should stay. Vivacious Lady and Lord Talbot head the dangers.

Preference is for the very consistent GALLO DELL CIELO after three very solid efforts here with the step up in trip a possible plus

19:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 4) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PARRAMOUNT was always in control over C&D when accounting for Optician by more than three lengths and, despite being 4lb worse off, Charlie Longsdon's charge is taken to confirm his superiority. Alright Sunshine returned to form with a highly creditable second over 2m at Lingfield last time out and he has to enter calculations off a mark 24lb lower than his last success.

Having not been seen to anything like best effect on his previous start, PARRAMOUNT put it all together under a pro-active ride when opening his account on the Flat over C&D 4 weeks ago and a 4 lb rise for that success should see Charlie Longsdon's 8-y-o very competitive again. Optician, who chased home the selection on that occasion, and Cardano can provide chief resistance.

The race may be set up for PARRAMOUNT (nap) who stayed on strongly to win over C&D last month. The main danger could be Cardano.

19:15 Dundalk Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

IS SHE NOW stayed on without threatening when third here nine days ago and may be able to score now back up in trip. The Prince Of Lir mare was narrowly denied in a bumper on her debut back in September 2023 and has run a couple of promising races in handicap company on the Flat on her two most recent outings here. Just Another Eagle held Billie Frechette by a neck over C&D a fortnight ago and may be able to confirm those placings off 2lb worse terms. Koniag has been knocking on the door here and is another who has to come into the mix.

BILLIE FRECHETTE shaped best when a neck second to Just Another Eagle over C&D a fortnight and from 2 lb better off, is fancied to reverse the form. Of the rest, Koniag seems very likely to give his running.

Just Another Eagle attempts to follow up her C&D success 2 weeks ago, but may struggle to see off runner-up BILLIE FRECHETTE (nap)

19:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It took Bass Player 10 attempts to get off the mark on the all-weather but he kept on to score over track and trip last month, despite looking ungainly when asked for effort near the finish. A 2lb higher mark looks fair and he can go well again. However, EQUION is the one who appeals most based on recent performances and this previous C&D winner looks the way to go with his yard in good form. Stipulation needs a betting check on his handicap debut.

Having had a productive autumn, EQUION turned in another excellent effort when runner-up at Newcastle 11 days ago and from the same mark, he seems sure to give it another good go. Bass Player isn't straightforward but he finally won a handicap over C&D last time and this is no stronger, with Willy Campbell another to consider.

Berkshire Phantom can go well granted luck in running but RADIANT BEAUTY could prove well suited by a return to AW.

19:45 Dundalk Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SAN ANDREAS has been a wonderful servant to his connections and may be able to bag another victory here after bouncing back to winning ways a fortnight ago. The Dark Angel gelding gave young Shay Wallace his first winner then and he takes 10lb off his back again. A 4lb rise doesn't look harsh for that victory and he is fancied to confirm placings with Come On The Lads, who was third and went up a couple of pounds himself. Ceallach, who was fifth, also reopposes and has to come into the mix having been left on the same mark. Dropping back slightly in trip shouldn't inconvenience any of the horses mentioned.

SAN ANDREAS had a few of these in behind when springing a surprise over 12f here a fortnight ago but now he's back in form, he retains handicap scope. Final Voyage is dangerous if seeing out this new trip, with Come On The Lads also of interest.

Over this shorter trip and on slightly better terms with San Andreas, it may pay to side with the consistent COME ON THE LADS

20:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

EAGLE DAY won back-to-back races in the summer and, having scored with plenty in hand over this C&D 11 days ago, it would come as no surprise to see him repeat the feat under a 5lb penalty. A winner over 1m on her penultimate start, Charmaine is far less exposed than the rest and is another must for consideration granted her potential to improve over this trip. Orbaan and Wyvern lurk on dangerous marks and are also dangerous to rule out.

CHARMAINE continued her theme of big race-by-race progress when fourth on handicap debut at Lingfield a month ago and as an unexposed 3-y-o representing a good yard, she's a tempting alternative to Eagle Day, who is sure to be popular under a penalty. Orbaan is likely to give it another good go.

Course winner EAGLE DAY scored emphatically last time and is taken to do so again under his penalty (2lb ahead of the handicapper).

20:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

There is little to choose between these and the betting might be a good source of clues. Savalas won over C&D last month and is notable off just 3lb higher, while fellow track-and-trip winners Bomb Squad and Q Twenty Boy also warrant close inspection. However, MAY REMAIN fits the bill as a live contender and, back down to a nice mark, looks worth chancing for a bit of value.

BOMB SQUAD rates the pick of these weights on the back of his good recent Newcastle second so is fancied to go in at the chief expense of fellow C&D winner Savalas. You Are Everything, Rogue Thunder and May Remain also need factoring into this open handicap.

Bankrupt is thrown in and needs a close market check but as thing stand the reliable BOMB SQUAD is preferred.
