13:15 Cheltenham Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

A progressive mare throughout most of her novice campaign, WYENOT was last seen finishing a highly creditable third here behind a Festival winner in April. A mark of 123 on her handicap debut could prove lenient and she is narrowly preferred to In The Air, who arrives on a hat-trick following recent victories at Southwell and Exeter. Callin Baton Rouge has been a revelation since joining new connections and must be thereabouts, along with Push The Button and Support Act.

IN THE AIR has revived in no uncertain terms for his new yard and, having defied a penalty with more in hand than the bare margin would suggest at Exeter 15 days ago, he is fancied to complete the hat-trick. Support Act and Push The Button are a pair of interesting handicap debutantes who require the utmost respect.

Nicky Henderson's IN THE AIR has been back in prime form for his new stable this month and is taken to compete a quickfire hat-trick.

13:33 Doncaster Handicap (Class 3) 8f Race Class Flow

ATTACK was not beaten far when third on his nursery debut over 7f at Newmarket a couple of weeks ago. The step up in trip should help this son of Wootton Bassett and he can defy a 2lb rise. Glittering Legend could prove to be the main threat, despite a slightly underwhelming effort at Epsom last time, while Mayday Malone is next best.

ATTACK improved again when third at Newmarket a fortnight ago and with the step up to 1m very much in his favour, he looks the way to go. Chesneys Charm was better than the result in a stronger race than this at York last time and already a 3-time winner, he's a threat, along with Glittering Legend.

Glittering Legend (second choice) and Attack are promising but it might be worth taking them on with CHESNEYS CHARM.

Just 3 lb higher here and should go well again. Ffos Las 2m win made it two good runs in a row on heavy, which demands plenty of respect.

13:41 Newbury Handicap (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

Zikany clearly needed a couple of runs to get back to peak fitness after a lengthy absence and he arrives carrying a 5lb penalty for a wide-margin success at Goodwood. A bold bid is expected once again with similar conditions prevailing, but recent Bath scorer RUSSIAN RUMOUR may have the edge. The daughter of Make Believe relished testing ground on that occasion and is only 3lb higher. Others to consider are Tailorman and Naasma.

It's hard to get away from ZIKANY, who sluiced through the mud to score by 17 lengths at Goodwood 12 days ago and a 5 lb penalty shouldn't be enough to prevent him from following up (due to be 4 lb higher in future). Russian Rumour doubled her tally for the campaign at Bath recently so she's put forward as the main threat, with Tailorman, who disappointed when sent off at odds-on at Kempton last time, rounding off the shortlist.

Zikany is hard to beat if judged on his recent Goodwood win but there is an interesting alternative in HARTUR D'OUDAIRIES (nap).

1 2nd (1) (18/1 -13%) Jazzy Matty	18 18/1(-13%)	(1) Jazzy Matty 18/1, Fred Winter winner in 2023 and has matched those exploits over fences this season, opening his account at Wexford in August and wasting no time putting a physical mishap behind him to double his tally at Sligo (21.1f, good) recently. Back down in trip and will need to take a step forward. Dual chase winner this season but faces tough assignment under 8lb penalty here.

Better to come but up against some big Irish yards here. Readily won Sedgefield handicap this month but faces much tougher task here.

13:50 Cheltenham Maiden Chase (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

Gavin Cromwell landed this contest last year and he can do so once more with PATH D'OROUX, who has been presented with a decent opportunity to get off the mark over fences. Third in the Grand Annual over C&D in March, and placed in valuable handicaps either side of that, the seven-year-old sets the standard and may have too much for San Salvador, who arrives on the back of a comfortable Grade 3 success at Roscommon. A Festival winner here in the past, Jazzy Matty cannot be ruled out following a recent victory over 2m5f at Sligo.

A disappointing turnout from British-trained runners but PATH D'OROUX held his form well back in the spring so, provided he's ready to roll, this looks a good opening for Gavin Cromwell's 7-y-o to open his account over the larger obstacles. The main danger may emerge from San Salvador, who is progressive and arrives chasing a quick-fire hat-trick, while Shecouldbeanything, who is declared to run at Clonmel on Thursday, would be a leading player if lining up, too.

This looks a good opportunity for Grand Annual third PATH D'OROUX to get a belated chase win on the board.

Only beaten 11l when fifth in Champion Hurdle, so really should be winning this.

14:00 Sligo Conditions Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

This looks a nice starting point for Champion Hurdle fifth COLONEL MUSTARD. Lorna Fowler's charge kept top company when reverting to hurdles last season and was last seen finishing third, albeit well beaten, behind State Man at Punchestown. Solness could be a tough rival, though, if the selection doesn't strip fit enough for his return. Joseph O'Brien's charge won a competitive handicap over fences in Listowel and is now rated 154 in that sphere. Kings Hill still has a few pounds to find on ratings, despite getting weight and Jack Gilligan taking off 7lb. He can't be ruled out, though.

COLONEL MUSTARD was a bit below par in the Punchestown Champion Hurdle when last seen 175 days ago but he still stands out on form and takes preference over Kings Hill. Solness can make his presence felt if matching the form he's shown over fences.

The inclination was to find something with which to take on COLONEL MUSTARD but the Champion Hurdle fifth really should be winning this

From a top yard which had an easy first-time-out 2yo filly winner over 1m on Tuesday.

JANEY MACKERS clearly sets the standard having shown plenty of promise when third on her debut over a mile at Yarmouth earlier in the month. With the benefit of that experience, the daughter of New Bay could be hard to stop. Queen Of Thieves is a full-sister to Cracksman and has to be of interest on her racecourse bow, especially as her stable landed this race in 2022 with the subsequent Oaks winner Soul Sister. Wonder Star is also well bred and is another noteworthy newcomer.

This could go to a newcomer, with QUEEN OF THIEVES taken to emulate her great brother Cracksman and make a successful start for a yard that took one of these in 2022 with subsequent Oaks-winner Soul Sister. Wonder Star is another appealing type, while Janey Mackers is the clear pick of those with experience after her promising Yarmouth debut.

Cracksman's sister QUEEN OF THIEVES gets the nod to make a winning debut in a race where the betting shouold be informative.

Ultrasoul has shown a decent level of form in the Convivial and with two runner-up efforts at Yarmouth so commands the utmost respect. That said, conditions are much different to what he has encountered to date and MARVELMAN, who was runner-up at Salisbury on heavy ground earlier in the month, appeals more. That was a step forward from his first start and he appears capable of further progression. Spirit Of Farhh has finished in the frame twice on soft ground and has to enter calculations too.

MARVELMAN took a marked step forward from his debut effort when runner-up in a Salisbury conditions' event 3 weeks ago and he holds sound claims back down in class with the prospect of more to come. Ultrasoul and Spirit of Farhh may emerge as the chief threats, though Dannick also commands respect following his eye-catching Goodwood third 12 days ago.

Thrice-raced ULTRASOUL brings strong form and may get off the mark, provided he handles the ground. Spirit Of Farhh is second pick.

MATATA may have been found out in Grade 1 company towards the back end of last season, but he remains a talented sort to keep on side as he makes his first foray outside of novice company. The six-year-old has an unblemished record when fresh and may be able to strike at the main expense of last year's winner Dancing On My Own, who arrives in top form following a comfortable success at Ballinrobe in August. Calico has gone well here before more than once, while Arclight remains an interesting prospect in this sphere.

CALICO has dipped to 1 lb lower than when second over C&D on last year's reappearance and might prove the answer to this useful handicap. Last year's winner Dancing On My Own should give it another good shot, while Matata looks feasibly treated on the pick of last season's novice form.

Dan Skelton's CALICO signed off with a poor run in May but resumes on a good mark and with conditions in his favour.

BOWGATE STREET ran a big race at Galway on her last start and can strike now in against her own sex. The Champs Elysees mare was pipped close home by Ragmans Corner in Ballybrit 17 days ago and is capable of winning a race at this level, despite a 3lb rise. She has form on softer ground, which could prove crucial. Cleopatra's Needle won nicely when making her first start in handicap company over hurdles at Fairyhouse, but her preference for good ground would be a concern with rain forecast. Fair Damsel was a fortunate winner at Killarney last time, but sneaks in here off a mark of 102 and has to be considered as well.

Having finally opening his account on the level in May, CLEOPATRA'S NEEDLE was a ready winner on handicap debut over hurdles a fortnight ago. With the promise of more to come, she gets the vote at the chief expense of Bayou Belle and Bowgate Street.

Marginal preference is for Galway runner-up BOWGATE STREET who is versatile as to trip and ground and can get a change of luck

The unexposed HARPER'S FERRY did not appear to get home over 1m2f here last month and, based on his previous efforts, he can be given another chance back down in trip. Whiskey Pete has been knocking on the door of late and is another who may improve for a drop in distance. Sierra Blanca edges out Theoryofeverything and Ebt's Guard to be best of the rest.

This is wide open so at the likely odds it is worth siding with MR KING to build on earlier promise and gain a first success for Iain Jardine off a handy-looking mark. Theoryofeverything appeals as the pick of the David O'Meara-trained trio and heads the list of dangers, although the likes of Sierra Blanca, Ebt's Guard, Whisky Pete and Barley can all have a say too.

The consistent BARLEY didn't enjoy a clear passage when third in a big field at York recently and he's run very well here in the past.

Cill Mocheallog has to be of interest on his first start for Dean Ivory having achieved a fair level of form in Ireland for Paddy Twomey, while a return to 7f may benefit Kodi Lion.

KODI LION shaped as if still in good form before the combination of testing ground/step up to 1m possibly caught him out when fourth here 5 weeks ago. Remaining of interest back down at 7f, he earns the vote ahead of Ascot-scorer Mercian Warrior. United Approach is another fancied to have a part to play.

GALE MAHLER registered a sixth win on the bounce when stepped up to Listed company at the Galway Festival and the five-year-old has been found an excellent opportunity to continue her splendid run of form. Valgrand finished fourth in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree before a pair of hurdling victories in May. He may prove to be the most obvious threat on his return from a break, although useful Flat performer Brave Knight has taken well to hurdling and is one to keep on the right side of.

A fascinating Grade 2 event. GALE MAHLER has carried all before her thus far and is impossible to side against in her bid to go 5-5 over hurdles on the back of an impressive Galway listed victory. Both Valgrand (second choice) and Brave Knight are with top yards and also unbeaten in this sphere so should ensure Adrian Keatley's likeable mare doesn't have things all her own way.

Gale Mahler has been making the game look easy but BRAVE KNIGHT can make it interesting with his recent form well franked.

15:10 Sligo Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

ARTIC LANE has been beaten favourite in three bumpers recently, but may make the breakthrough now that he tackles hurdles. The Declan Queally-trained gelding has jumps experience, having won a point-to-point, and ran a big race in a Leopardstown bumper on his track debut last December. He hasn't quite shown that level since returning, but ran well on rain-softened ground at Listowel and slower ground may help his chances now. The Willie Mullins-trained Caman Eileen commands obvious respect, but needs to improve a bit on her showing at Ballinrobe. Newtown Rambler ran a promising race when second on his track debut at Downpatrick and is another for the shortlist.

NEWTOWN RAMBLER showed plenty in points and made a solid start to his hurdling career when runner-up at Downpatrick last month, so he's fancied to progress past Caman Eileen, who has been underwhelming since her initial effort over hurdles but is an obvious threat if back to form. Will Wilde can't be dismissed.

It may be worth giving another chance to WILL WILDE who looked destined for good things when winning the bumper on this card last year

On target in a Chepstow maiden before making a successful handicap debut at Pontefract last time, Altmore will undoubtedly be popular despite a subsequent 11lb rise, given his unexposed profile. Zoum Zoum has been campaigned at Pattern level since winning a novice at Newmarket in November of last year and he's of interest now pitched into handicaps, but a chance can be taken on MAGICAL SPIRIT. Kevin Ryan's charge might have an inconsistent profile, but he loves it around here, with his three C&D victories all coming on similar ground (including this race in 2021). He's just 1lb above his last winning mark, and a return to this venue may well spark a revival. Wodao is also noted.

Some useful sprinters line up here but William Haggas' unexposed ALTIMORE remains ahead of his mark despite taking an 11 lb hike for his facile Pontefract success so can complete a hat-trick. Wodao is feared most on the back of his very good recent Goodwood second, with top-weight Commanche Falls and former-winner Magical Spirit also in the mix.

The very lightly raced ALTMORE (nap) coasted to victory on his handicap debut at Pontefract and can take an 11lb rise in his stride.

THUNDER BLUE has shown a good level of form over this distance this season and his latest fifth over 7f at Doncaster can be upgraded because he raced keenly towards the rear off a steady pace. Stepping back to 6f off an unchanged mark, this might be the day to catch him. Aramram showed a likeable attitude when scoring gamely at Wolverhampton and he must enter calculations off a 2lb higher figure. Land Of Magic is respected most out of the remainder.

Backing SERGEANT PEP comes with slight risks attached given his issues at the stalls but he's talented on his day and a 3 lb rise for his career-best win at Leicester recently looks lenient. Land of Magic will be ridden totally differently and could be a tough nut to crack if allowed her own way, with Aramram completing the shortlist.

In-form 3yos LAND OF MAGIC, Aramram and Thunder Blue bring the strongest appeal, in that order of preference.

Jacks Parrot is likely to prove popular after victories at Uttoxeter and Perth in the spring, when building on his UK debut effort. The five-year-old is expected to have more to offer, despite being 8lb higher, but the vote goes to CEANNDANA. The Irish challenger showcased his versatility when dropping back in trip to win at Sligo earlier in the month and appears capable of further progression. Last year's winner Mole Court, Are U Wise To That and Hold Your Fort can fight it out for the minor honours.

CEANNDANA arrives on a steep upward curve and probably has even more to offer, so he takes marginal preference ove Jacks Parrot, who is also on the up but doesn't have the benefit of a recent run. Are U Wise To That is better than a mark of 127 on his day and merits respect coming back fresh.

The 2021 winner STRICTLYADANCER has a chance of ending his drought after an encouraging return from a break at Chepstow recently.

Dual C&D winner TRUE DESTINY may be able to bag another victory at the track. Noel Kelly's charge ran better at Limerick last time when chasing home Crowsatedappletart and is only 1lb higher. He was an easy winner of this race a couple of years ago on soft ground. Moulane West has been knocking on the door and steps back up in trip now. He could be a danger. Kilmacurkin ran really well when last seen, over fences, at Limerick in May. He could be competitive off this mark, but softer ground would be a bit of a concern.

C&D scorer TRUE DESTINY signalled he is ready to strike again when a very good recent second in a big field at Limerick so looks the way to go here. Moulane West is weighted to have a big say so heads the list of dangers, with Kilmacurkin, Hungry Rock and Wing Back all worthy of consideration too.

A contest which has been won by some useful types in the past, this year's renewal could go to the Charlie Appleby-trained MUSIC OF TIME. The Dubawi colt showed considerable promise amidst greenness at Kempton on his debut recently and that experience could prove vital, so it would come as no surprise were he to find the necessary improvement to score here. Kaleido, a full brother to stable star Mishriff, makes significant appeal for the Gosdens, though Kieran Shoemark opts to ride stablemate Kuredu King. 260,000gns purchase Fan Club is another who warrants closer inspection ahead of his racecourse bow.

This can go to a newcomer, with KALEIDO, a full brother to the owner's star performer Mishriff, selected before market clues. 300,000 gns buy Kuredu King is another interesting one for the yard. Godolphin's Music of Time can build on his Kempton third, while Fan Club is respected starting out for William Haggas.

Preference is for the Gosden-trained newcomer KALEIDO, who is a brother to connections' top-class performer Mishriff.

Khutulun has to be of interest having got off the mark over this trip at Chelmsford on her nursery debut last month. However, marginal preference is for ANTELOPE, who was narrowly denied in a similar event over the extended 1m here recently and the son of Lope De Vega may have more to offer. Others to note are Manton Road, Empowered Queen and Calibos.

ANTELOPE fared much better than previously when chasing home a next-time-out winner on nursery debut here (8.6f) 3 weeks ago and, with the drop back in trip not expected to pose a problem, he's of interest from a handy draw. Chelmsford-scorer Khutulun and Empowered Queen having her first crack at 7f are others to consider. Telepathic on nursery debut is another to note with progress anticipated.

This looks open but EMPOWERED QUEEN wasn't far away from justifying market support at Newcastle and this extra yardage can suit.

MILLER SPIRIT scored in the style of a gelding some way ahead of the handicapper when skipping clear of his rivals in testing ground at Epsom. Despite an 8lb hike, he gets the vote to go in again. Ithaca's Arrow was an admirable third in a warm Newbury handicap over an extended 1m5f last month and he merits respect in these calmer waters off an unchanged mark, while the unexposed Silent Glance is surely better than she showed when last of five on her handicap debut.

Plenty are in with a shout so it is worth siding with BALHAMBAR, who was firmly on the up over hurdles when last seen out in the spring and can now capitalise on a reduced mark back in this sphere for a yard among the winners. C&D scorer Flash Bardot goes very well under these likely soft conditions and heads the list of dangers, although Miller Spirit, Torcello and Silent Glance bring solid credentials to the table too.

The conspicuously in-form candidates are MILLER SPIRIT and Ithaca's Arrow, who both look ideally suited by 1m4f in the mud.

Point-to-point winner Minella Sixo impressed when scoring comfortably on his Rules debut over 2m at Fairyhouse earlier this month and, with improvement likely, it will be no surprise if he is able to make his presence felt in this grade. That said, preference is still for POTTERS CHARM, who was on target in a Ffos Las bumper in the spring before confirming that promise when bolting up over 2m4f at Worcester on his debut over timber recently. With his yard in fine form, he looks the one to side with. Cloonainra is also noteworthy.

POTTERS CHARM represents a yard in superb form and he's looked a fine prospect both starts under Rules, running out a stylish winner of a bumper in the spring before outclassing 9 rivals at Worcester a month ago. Sure to leave that bare form behind, he'll take some stopping, for all Minella Sixo is promising in his own right. Of the rest, six-figure point recruit First Confession merits consideration.

This doesn't look that strong a novice by Cheltenham standards and opportunity knocks for POTTERS CHARM (nap) to go 3-3 under rules.

This is a drop in class for THE STORY SO FAR on his return to action and he may be worth a shot. The Westerner gelding ran in some strong maiden hurdles earlier in the year after winning a Limerick bumper last Christmas. He has a mark of 111 and that gives him a big shout in this. Great Universe is rated 1lb superior, but he needs to show more after making little impact on his return in handicap company at Listowel. Workinonadream has been knocking on the door and could be place material again. She is nicely weighted with Tiernan Power Roche taking off 7lb.

Despite having a bit to find, THE STORY SO FAR surely has a bigger performance in him over this sort of distance so he's chanced to make a winning return to action. Workinonadream and Great Universe are a couple of potential threats.

Cut in the ground would appear to hold the key to Nariko, who struck at Haydock in May before following up on her return at Salisbury earlier this month. Hugo Palmer's improving three-year-old merits the utmost respect, but the vote goes to SUMMERGHAND. This is the first time David O'Meara's veteran has contested a class 4 handicap since winning over C&D off 3lb lower in May 2018 and having performed with credit in the Ayr Silver Cup last month, he can exploit it to record an 18th career triumph. Danzan heads the remainder.

IRISH NECTAR caught the eye when fifth in a big field at York last time out so edges the vote in this very open sprint. Hugo Palmer's recent Salisbury scorer Nariko is weighted to have a big say and rates the chief threat, with The Eyes Have It, Danzan and The Coffee Pod all worthy of consideration too.

The progressive 3yo filly NARIKO is well served by slow ground and can complete a hat-trick. The Eyes Have It may be the danger.

SPIRIT LEAD ME justified strong support when making a winning nursery debut at Kempton (1m) 9 days ago, his strength at the finish particularly taking. He ought to take some stopping under a penalty. Fellow last-time-out winners, Gold Black and River Blackwater are others to consider, whilst Yehudi likely has a bigger effort in his locker also.

CENTIGRADE offered a lot of encouragement when only just pipped by a smart prospect on his debut at Sandown in August. Ralph Beckett's colt is entitled to improve for that experience and a first career victory looks very possible. His stablemate Majestic Leo is an intriguing newcomer on paper and it will be interesting to see how the son of Camelot compares in the betting. Fellow debutant Sudu, a half-brother to the decent Noble Patron, is another potential fly in the ointment.

CENTIGRADE made a very promising start at Sandown 8 weeks ago, beaten on the post, and could be hard to beat if coping with these different conditions. Ralph Beckett has enjoyed a tremendous year with his juveniles and introduces Majestic Leo and Thosewerethedays in a race the stable has won in the past. Sudu is another newcomer to note.

FIERCELY PROUD enjoyed a productive campaign last season, scoring twice and running with plenty of credit in Grade 2 company a couple of times before finishing an admirable seventh in a hot handicap at Sandown. In these slightly calmer waters off 1lb lower, he could prove hard to peg back having run well fresh before. Inca De Lafayette lost little in defeat when attempting to complete a Taunton double and merits respect off 1lb higher on his reappearance. Useful dual-purpose performer Impero also catches the eye.

An ultra-competitive finale. FIRECELY PROUD did well as a novice hurdler last season and ran creditably in a big-field handicap at Sandown on his final outing, especially considering he was left with a bit too much to do, so he's an appealing candidate on this return to action with his rider able to claim 10 lb against his rivals. Jilaijone has been shown some leniency by the assessor and can go on well on his reappearance, with hat-trick seeker Here Comes Georgie also of firm interest.

Preference is for FIERCELY PROUD, who looks well handicapped if judged on the form of his Grade 2 novice second in February.

CROSSING THE BAR was a bit unlucky on his first outing for Cian Collins at Clonmel earlier in the month and may be able to score now. The Poet's Voice gelding was staying on well when making a blunder at the last flight and did well to finish second in the end. Stamina seems to be his forte and any rain here could help. Gladiatorial bounced back to winning ways over fences here and could be the danger. Donacheady Gale is another reverting to the smaller obstacles after a chase win and also has to come into calculations.

CROSSING THE BAR marked himself down as one to be interested in when finishing with a flourish to take second on stable debut at Clonmel 3 weeks ago and, on a handy mark judged on his exploits for Neil Mulholland, he gets the nod to confirm the promise of that effort. Roscommon-second Nevereverever can do better as his jumping improves and is feared, with last-time-out winners Doitforjane Sid and Donacheady Gale others in the mix.

Having posted creditable efforts in defeat at Ascot and Nottingham since his victory over 5f here last month, FANTASY MASTER makes plenty of appeal on his return to 6f. Darryll Holland's charge is likely to relish this stiffer test of stamina and he edges the vote over Fine Interview. The three-year-old is 2lb well-in on this quick turnaround after finishing a close-up second at Catterick six days ago and another prominent role is forecast. The downgraded Radio Goo Goo may fare best of the remainder.

FINE INTERVIEW comes here better than ever and rates the pick of these weights too so is fancied to bag a third success of 2024. SKY SAFARI struggled in Listed company at Ascot a few weeks ago, but her debut victory at Yarmouth in June suggests that she could go well here off a mark of 73. The hat-trick seeking Unassuming has to defy a career-high mark but is an obvious threat to the selection, while La Fleur Petrus and Noisy Music are others with valid form claims.

UNASSUMING looked one to keep firmly onside when landing back-to-back Southwell handicaps last month and George Boughey's filly makes plenty of appeal in her hat-trick bid. Recent C&D winner Noisy Music, Apeeling and Incrimination head up the dangers.

After successive wins over Southwell's 1m trip, UNASSUMING still looks well treated despite a 7lb rise.

LADY LA FAY was most taking when making all in a novice event at Ripon and she could prove tough to catch now entering handicaps. A mark of 84 looks workable given the manner of that victory and she edges the vote over fellow three-year-old Power Of Destiny, who is better than she showed in a competitive heritage handicap at York's Ebor Festival and shouldn't be underestimated on the back of a 63-day break. Elladonna and Wintercrack have the form to feature as well.

WINTERCRACK revels in this sort of ground and can defy the handicapper. Power of Destiny had a progressive profile until her York no show and can bounce straight back and provide the chief threat ahead of fellow 3-y-o Lady La Fay.

Handicap debutante LADY LA FAY is taken to build on her Ripon success and follow up. Wintercrack is second choice.

Gigginstown recruit BALLYBOW is interesting on his first outing for Gordon Elliott. The Flemensfirth gelding cost 110,000 pounds after finishing runner-up in two point-to-points. He bumped into subsequent three-time bumper winner Takt De Touques on his debut and was a touch unlucky next time when making a mistake at the second-last and also getting slightly hampered. Coral River has good bumper form in the book and looks the danger. He was last seen chasing home a smart-looking sort in Don'tstopthemusic at the Punchestown Festival. Supreme Ruler and Cailin Deas also have solid placed form and are others to consider.

BALLYBOW is a full brother to a bumper winner and fetched six figures after showing plenty in points, so he's a straightforward choice to make a successful Rules debut. Coral River is the likeliest to capitalise if the selection fluffs his lines.

The veteran must enter calculations racing off an unchanged mark, but AZAHARA PALACE makes slightly more appeal on her second attempt over today's 1m2f distance. Hughie Morrison's filly arrives on the back of a solid third in a class 4 event at Newbury and this drop into class 5 company could prove just the tonic. Roxanne and Skinny Malinka are also worth a second look.

CROESO CYMRAEG is firmly into the veteran stage of his career but he took advantage of a drop in the weights at Leicester 10 days ago and given he escapes a penalty for that apprentice win, his follow-up claims appear to be bright. Azahara Palace is unexposed over this trip so enters the reckoning, along with Monteria.

Successful nine times in the UK, the six-year-old ran a cracker on her debut for current connections over the course and distance last week, finishing third in a much stronger contest. In here for €15,000, she is the highest rated runner in the line-up. On ratings, Catherine Chroi and Alabama Calling are the dangers. Both are in for €20,000, with the latter returning to Claire O'Connell after a successful stint with Ian Jardine. Tiffany Twisted (€10,000) came in for strong market support on her penultimate start at Fairyhouse, and she is of definite interest in a contest of this quality. With four course wins to her name, Chica Power (€7,000) is another for the shortlist.

Having been successful on her final start for Amanda Perrett in August, SAYIFYOUWILL turned in her best effort of the season when third over C&D last week and a repeat effort should be sufficient to resume winning ways dropped into claiming company. Catherine Chroi enjoyed a fruitful time with Iain Jardine in the spring, so she heads up the dangers back with her former stable, with Endless Pursuit and Galician Girl another couple worthy of consideration, too.

Ateenosix had no luck in running when ninth over the course and distance last week and he is of definite interest, while others for the shortlist are Shoot To Kill, Mullacash Buzz and Cross Border, with the latter starting off for Gavin Cromwell and the In Bounds Syndicate.

Twice a winner over 7f, the step up in trip looks certain to unlock further progress within STATE FLAG, who grabbed third close home at Kempton earlier this month. Tom Ward's filly still appears to be on a workable mark and she could take advantage against some out-of-form rivals. That said, Commander Of Life finished second to a handicap blot at Newcastle last week and must enter calculations from an unchanged rating. Wide Margin is another to consider.

WIDE MARGIN returned from an absence with a more encouraging performance last time and this longer trip is likely to bring more out of him, so he's fancied to make a winning handicap debut for shrewd connections. State Flag is an obvious player having her first go on tapeta, while Commander of Life is unlikely to be far away.

The vote goes to STATE FLAG who stays 7f well and whose pedigree suggests this step up in trip may prove beneficial.

While he has a wide draw to overcome, SENADO SQUARE has a good record at Dundalk and with Cian Horgan claiming a valuable 7lb, he can be expected to go close. Adrian McGuinness saddles two leading hopes, with Adam Caffrey aboard I'm Spartacus. A winner over this C&D last month, he is sure to have plenty of supporters in his bid to follow up. Hezahunk is the other McGuinness representative and he is also likely to be prominent in the betting, after finishing just a neck behind the selection when third on his most recent start. Fairyhouse winner Blanc De Noir, the Kevin Coleman-trained Devil's Angel and the lowly-rated Eriskay are others for the shortlist.

Lots with chances but JAZZY DANCER is fancied to build on his recent Fairyhouse 12th after a lay-off and capitalise on a handy-looking mark. Back on the Flat last time out following a brief spell over hurdles, ADDOSH was able to record a comfortable C&D triumph. James Owen's mare must carry a 5lb penalty today but that may not be enough to stop her if she arrives in a similar vein of form. Pons Aelius was touched off by a progressive rival at Musselburgh recently and he looks the main threat. Moel Arthur, a largely consistent type on the all-weather, could also go well off top-weight.

ADDOSH is unexposed for this stable and she cruised into it before readily putting the race to bed over C&D last time, so she's a confident choice to follow up. Love Safari is a danger with this belated step up in trip likely to suit, while Green Team should give his running again.

There looked to be more left in the tank when ADDOSH won over C&D last week and she is taken to defy a penalty.

Darragh O'Sullivan and Fozzy Stack successfully combined at Navan on Wednesday, and they might strike here with ISLAND GIRL. Progressing with each run, the Starspangledbanner chestnut has a wide draw to overcome, but will be aided by the 7lb claim of her promising rider. While she failed to make an impact in the Birdcatcher, Moonhall Lass is the only runner with course form and she should appreciate this drop in class. Placed three times from four starts, Bobbi Rosa certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn, while it'll be interesting to see how Improve Your Move fares. Fourth in a Listed contest at Vichy in May, she could potentially be well treated off an initial mark of 77. Skillman Ave warrants respect in first-time blinkers, while Fairhaven and Weegeebear are others of note.

There should be more to come from ISLAND GIRL in nurseries so she gets the nod for Fozzy Stack. Moonhall Lass can probably be forgiven her run in the premier nursery at Naas last time and her second at Down Royal prior to that gives her a good shout. Bobbi Rosa may prove best of the rest.

Having found only a last-time-out winner too strong over C&D in August, compensation could be heading in DILLYDINGDILLYDONG's direction. A 2lb higher mark looks more than fair for James Owen's gelding and a third career victory may be on the cards. The biggest threat may emerge from Sassy Glory, who arrives on the back of two creditable runs in defeat at this venue and Thirsk. Kojin and Keen Interest are also noted on their recent form.

DILLYDINGDILLYDONG has generally been on the up for his current stable and travelled like he's still ahead of his mark when second over C&D last time, so he's the one to be with back from a break. Sassy Glory and Keen Interest look the most serious threats.

This looks open but it might provide the right opportunity for KEEN INTEREST to improve his strike-rate.

This looks a good opportunity for DAKOTA BLUE. A 300,000-euro purchase at the Arqana Breeze Up Sale, he was fourth when last seen in a much hotter contest at the Curragh, with both the first and third subsequently scoring in Group 3 company. Nyman was six and a half lengths behind the selection at the Co Kildare venue and he gave the form a further boost when successful here last Friday. A fine second on debut, Glenderry is an obvious danger. Already gelded, he is entitled to step forward from that initial effort. A close fourth on his first start at the Curragh, Some Performance looks capable of making an impact, while others for the shortlist are Daler, Quiz Question, Heldtoransom and Transfuse.

DAKOTA BLUE's fourth on Irish Oaks Day is looking very good form, with a couple of Aidan O'Brien's top prospects for 2025 having been among the principals, and he can make a successful return. Some Performance, Glenderry and Daler are all promising and need considering also in what looks a good maiden.

A hat-trick would come as no surprise from the three-year-old, but it could be worth taking a punt on stable debutant KHANGAI. The James Owen-trained charge arrives here on a career-low mark and he looks potentially well treated on the pick of his form. Dual C&D winner Crafter is also of interest on his return to action.

KHANGAI has dropped to a winning mark and is worth a chance to make a winning start for his new stable. Harbour Vision (engaged here Friday) and Newfangled fought out the finish here last time and are likely to be involved again.

There are several here with a chance but in-form 3yo NEWFANGLED (nap) is the most progressive. Bay Of Australia is the main danger.

Out of 2013 Irish St Leger winner Voleuse De Coeurs, OZARK DAZE might finally get his turn. Placed on recent starts over this C&D, the Andy Oliver-trained bay was second when last seen, finishing a place ahead of subsequent winner Natural Ruler. The only filly among the 14 set to take part, Pearl Jewel is of definite interest. She beat the selection and the reopposing Raydamann when second over C&D on her penultimate start, before finishing fifth in a competitive handicap. The aforementioned Raydamann warrants respect in a first-time hood, while Sligo runner-up Man Of Worth, the consistent Coul Dreamer and debutant Persian Bliss are others for the shortlist.

OZARK DAZE posted another good effort here last time and can finally open his account. Raydamann is a firm player, while the superbly-bred Hallowed would obviously demand respect if getting a run.
