13:30 Hereford Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LELOOPA finished over four lengths clear of the third when hitting the crossbar at Newton Abbot last month and she sets the standard with a rating of 107. Fergal O'Brien's four-year-old might only need to reproduce that effort in order to go one better. Versace Twentyone finished fourth behind the selection on her latest outing and she might be able to get closer on only her second start over hurdles, while A Little Something is another to note.

A repeat of the form LELOOPA showed when second at Newton Abbot last time could be good enough to see her go one better now. Versace Twentyone was just under 6 lengths behind the selection in fourth at the Devon venue and can fill the forecast spot ahead of Granny Hawkins.

This looks good for LELOOPA, who went down fighting when second over hurdles at Newton Abbot last month.

13:35 Roscommon Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ATA RANGI was coming back from nearly four months off when fifth at Killarney a week ago and, with that run under his belt, he can strike here for Henry de Bromhead and Billy Lee. The Decorated Knight gelding also ran creditably over a mile a couple of times earlier in the season and is proven on soft ground. Silent Guardian was first home in a barrier trial before being placed over a mile at Cork. He didn't see out 1m2f at the Curragh last time and will be racing on easy ground for the first time. Thequietman was second to a smart horse on his debut over a mile at Leopardstown but has twice disappointed at short prices since.

A low-grade maiden, and THEQUIETMAN stands out on his debut form, though he's been below that level twice since. Silent Guardian is next best, ahead of Ata Rangi.

In such a weak maiden another chance is given to THEQUIETMAN who ran such a promising race on his Leopardstown debut.

(1) Maid In Chelsea 13/8, Promising sort. 5/2, won 7-runner novice at Wolverhampton (5.1f) 14 days ago with Mockirr (7 lb pull) just over 2 lengths adrift in third. Should have more to offer and return to turf shouldn't be an issue given that she shaped well over 6f here on debut in June, albeit on faster ground.

As a half-brother to the yard's smart sprinter Apollo One he may well take this drop in trip in his stride, but a good deal more will be needed if he's to rustle the feathers of the other two.
Promising third in 1m maiden at Chelmsford; has some speed in pedigree; interesting.

13:42 Windsor Stakes (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Maid In Chelsea is penalised for a cosy success at Wolverhampton when MOCKIRR was back in third. The latter has a bit to find on the bare form, but a 7lb turnaround at the weights helps and William Haggas' inmate will likely improve on his second start after wind surgery. Space Trooper failed to get a clear run when third at Chelmsford on debut and improvement looks likely.

MOCKIRR is taken to turn the tables on his Wolverhampton conqueror Maid In Chelsea, now meeting that rival on 8 lb better terms compared to when finishing just over 2 lengths adrift of her at the aforementioned track a fortnight ago. Space Trooper should be wiser following his belated debut at Chelmsford last month but while this drop back in trip may not be a bad move, he will need to take a big step forward in order to trouble his two rivals.

The rematch between Maid In Chelsea and Mockirr could go either way. SPACE TROOPER is interesting, assuming he copes with 5f.

13:50 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

True Nation bounced back to form when scoring over track and trip earlier in the month and she holds an obvious chance off only 3lb higher. However, it may pay to side with DOGGED, who filled the runner-up spot over 1m3f at Ripon in August and goes off an unchanged rating. The seven-year-old should have no issues with the drop in distance and might regain the winning thread, while Bulls Aye can fight it out for the minor honours.

Rebecca Menzies has her team in form and DOGGED can build on a good run at Ripon last time and resume winning ways at the expense of recent C&D scorer True Nation. Alazwar may prove best of the remainder.

The drop back to 1m isn't an obvious positive for DOGGED but he arrives on the back of a good run and has the assistance of Becky Smith

14:00 Hereford Handicap Chase (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HENRY BOX BROWN accounted for his nearest rival by just under four lengths in this grade at Worcester in August and he was given a 9lb rise for that triumph. Evan Williams' seven-year-old has lots in his favour and could prove tough to beat. Moodofthemoment has taken the silver medal home on each of his three starts for the Matt Sheppard stable and should go well, along with Post No Bills.

The obvious one is LOCK OUT, who made a winning return from out of the handicap at Chepstow on Friday and is able to race off 5 lb lower here. Moodofthemoment and Post No Bills have been knocking on the door of late so are likely threats.

It's hard to get away from LOCK OUT, who returned to form to land a gamble at Chepstow on Friday and is 5lb lower here.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MERISI DIAMOND and Mercurial pulled well clear of the rest of the field when fighting out the finish in a C&D contest on heavy ground last month and the former may confirm the form. Joanna Morgan's powerfully-built five-year-old didn't run badly off his revised mark at the Curragh and has scope for further progress. Following his narrow defeat here, Mercurial was held in two outings at Chester on successive days in mid-September but is 10lb better off at the weights with the selection which gives him strong claims on paper. Trip and ground are right for Dragon Of Malta who went close at Listowel last time while Current Option has come down to an attractive mark and drops in grade.

Several to consider in this competitive handicap and CURRENT OPTION gets the nod. While his recent form figures are not as appealing as those possessed by some of these, the 8-y-o is now 2 lb below the mark off which he hit the target at Fairyhouse during the summer and this track should suit him. Goldrush Kid and Dragon of Malta are next on the list (in order of preference), while Mercurial is in with a shout, along with Blue Soul and unexposed maiden winner Una Matata also needs a second look.

Second when attempting to repeat last year's Listowel festival handicap win, DRAGON OF MALTA has sound prospects of going one better

14:12 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BAMA LAMA wasn't at her best on the testing going last time, but genuine soft ground is not a problem for Rod Millman's mare. Last month's second over course and distance offers encouragement that she'll be winning off her current mark soon and she gets another chance. It was soft underfoot when Firenze Rosa scored at Brighton in July and she's noted along with Tilsworth Ony Ta.

A chance is taken on APPLE A DEY, who has failed to build on the promise of her debut for this yard in two subsequent starts, but she has swiftly dropped 5 lb in the weights and it's worth noting that the best of her three efforts for Henry De Bromhead in Ireland last season was when third in a soft-ground Tipperary maiden. Tilsworth Ony Ta is feared most ahead of Bama Lama.

Off a workable mark and with Rossa Ryan on board, TILSWORTH ONY TA is preferred. Consistent Bama Lama is feared most.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CANNON ROCK failed to land a blow on his hurdle debut at Worcester in July, but he has some solid Flat form to this name, including his second at Kempton in May. If James Owen's four-year-old can run to anything like that form, he could prove very tough to beat. Deauville warrants a market check on her first UK start for the Iain Jardine stable, while Bulldog Spirit looks the pick of the remainder.

CANNON ROCK ran a couple of disappointing races in July but he's a classy sort for a seller and is taken to prove too strong for Iain Jardine's new recruit Deauville.

Preference is for BULLDOG SPIRIT, who won at Haydock in August and may have been unsuited by the soft ground at Catterick recently.

A chance can be taken on CREST OF HONOUR, who changed hands for 29,000 euros and is related to plenty of winners. Jane Williams' three-year-old wouldn't have to be anything out of the ordinary in order to make a winning debut in this contest. Aotano goes in a tongue-tie on his racecourse debut and he would be of interest if the market speaks in his favour, along with fellow newcomer Lenjoleur De Palma.

A race where the betting should prove informative, with a tentative vote going the way of Irish-raider Aotano ahead of Crest of Honour before any market clues are known.

Crest Of Honour makes appeal on paper but preference is for AOTANO, who has an interesting Flat pedigree.

14:35 Roscommon Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Recent Bellewstown winner PRIVATE OFFICER can follow up off just 4lb higher. The Johnny Levins-trained three-year-old did very well to win, as he was short of room at a critical point in the race. Staying on strongly once in the clear, the U S Navy Flag gelding should be capable of defying his rise. With the form of her two most recent starts having been boosted in the interim, Lisabetta is a definite contender. Tim Doyle's mare has never won off a mark this high but Wayne Hassett is able to claim a valuable 5lb. Curragh fourth Nibras Rainbow didn't enjoy the run of the race on that occasion, so is another with a strong chance.

LITTLE KEILEE is in better heart than her form figures suggest and the application of blinkers may be just what she needs to regain the winning thread. Private Officer was better than ever when successful last time so she has to be feared, along with Pandion Power.

When scoring at Bellewstown PRIVATE OFFICER had to wait to get into the clear and may confirm form with Guest Star and others

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Bacor carries a penalty for making all over the minimum trip at Ripon in June. Another bold bid from the front looks likely, but ISABELLA CASTILE makes more appeal. Jack Channon's filly ran out of steam in the closing stages when third over 7f at Newbury and returns to this shorter trip with solid claims. Bintshuaa may improve fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time, while All Too Beautiful and Sychell are newcomers to note.

The early signs are that it was a decent Newbury maiden in which RIKISSA was third on debut last month and, with this drop to 6f unlikely to be an issue and improvement on the cards, she looks the way to go with her yard in fine form. Isabella Castile left her debut form behind when third in a four-runner conditions race at that Berkshire venue and she is feared most ahead of newcomer Sychell and the penalised Bacor.

Attractively bred newcomer SYCHELL gets the vote. Rikissa has to be feared, especially granted muddy conditions.

14:50 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SOUTH PARADE finished a close-up third in a stronger event at Chester last month and the handicapper might have been kind to leave his mark alone for that performance. Richard Fahey's three-year-old will appreciate this drop in grade and she could be the one to beat. Zuffolo has to be considered after his triumph at Redcar on his latest outing, while the in-form Inanna is another to watch out for.

A few in-form sprinters clash here, with Richard Fahey 3-y-o SOUTH PARADE taken to resume winning ways from a handy draw. Last year's winner Albegone has a string of good efforts in defeat in recent months and is second choice ahead of Inanna and Zuffolo, who has had a productive spell since blinkered.

The 3yo SOUTH PARADE arrives in fine form and could enjoy the run of the race from her high draw. She gets the nod ahead of Inanna.

15:00 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 22f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having posted a close-up third on his handicap bow over an extended 2m at Market Rasen in July, compensation could be heading in BASKERVILLE's direction. Alan King's gelding is bred to relish this extended 2m5f distance and a second victory of the season may beckon. Galata Bridge was disappointing when a well-beaten fourth at Worcester in August, but better is expected dropping into class 4 company. The seven-year-old is feared most, ahead of Sambezi.

BASKERVILLE is going the right way over hurdles and with this trip promising to suit coupled with a conditional taking off a valuable 10 lb, he could be the answer. Galata Bridge is a solid opponent, while Haas Boy is interesting on return for his new stable.

A long way clear of the others when second to a subsequent Punchestown festival winner at Wincanton in February, HAAS BOY gets the nod.

15:05 Roscommon Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Given the manner in which he bolted up at Thurles on Thursday, SKONTONOVSKI is hard to oppose. Clearly well handicapped relative to his all-weather form, the Ado McGuinness-trained gelding travelled strongly before quickening clear of his rivals. Under a mandatory 7lb penalty, the son of Harbour Watch should make it back-to-back wins. Superior Council ran very well when third over an inadequate trip at Navan last time. Back over 7f on easier ground, the Johnny Levins-trained gelding should be competitive. Dual winner Wrist Art should find this easier having shaped with promise in slightly higher grades recently. Tim Doyle's gelding should be helped by his riders claim.

SKONTONOVSKI had plenty to spare at Thurles last Thursday and a 7 lb penalty may not stop him if in similar form. Superior Council is another who arrives on the back of a good run last week, while the booking of Colin Keane suggests that Lauroline might be primed to go well back from 3 months off.

It is hard to look beyond SKONTONOVSKI (nap) who routed his rivals at Thurles last week and is below his AW rating even with 7lb extra.

15:12 Windsor Handicap (Class 4) 5f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A high draw can be helpful here on soft ground and if that holds true, then BALMORAL LADY has to be of interest. A winner on heavy ground at Bath last time, she has been upped 3lb for that but may be the best suited to the conditions. Jacquelina drops in class after an 11th at Ascot and cannot be overlooked, but Four Adaay is the bigger danger under Neil Callan.

THANKUAPPRECIATE has yet to add to his 2-y-o Ripon novice success but he appears ready to put that right judged on last month's near-miss off a similar mark at Chester. He is proven on slow ground and was a good second on his sole previous visit here. Faustus and Level Up rate the main dangers in that order of preference, while last-time-out winners Balmoral Lady and Four Adaay also merit respect in this competitive contest.

Most of these have chances but BALMORAL LADY (nap) only made her debut in May and won in the manner of an improver at Bath.

Having stayed on to overtake reopposing rival Rory The Cat in the shadows of the post over 1m6f here 12 days ago, another bold showing is forecast from REEL HER IN. 15:30 Hereford Handicap Chase (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Although pulled up on her outing at Southwell in June, ANNIE WICKS had been progressive before that disappointment. Evan Williams' mare had previously posted a solid second over C&D and she can get back on track returning to a right-handed course. Invictus Allen is another who should have more to come over fences and the six-year-old is also forecast to feature. Chase debutant Selectivelistening is up markedly in distance and he may fare best of the remainder.

An open staying handicap chase with marginal preference for INVICTUS ALLEN, who opened his account at Uttoxeter in July and shaped as if still in good order when third at Fontwell just over 5 weeks ago. Selectivelistening was possibly amiss last time, but he would be a major threat judged on some of his earlier exploits now sent chasing so heads up the dangers, with Radharc Na Slaine and No Promises also not discounted, too.

She was not herself last time but ANNIE WICKS get the nod in the hope she can recapture her good form from the spring.

15:35 Roscommon Maiden 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

With an official rating of 81, NEWTOWN DUKE should be able to register a first win. The Dermot Weld-trained colt finished runner-up on his racecourse debut at Limerick in July, before running third at Galway the following month. Although a beaten favourite at Leopardstown when last seen, the son of Lope De Vega deserves another chance. Gavin Cromwell's Babich rates the main threat to the selection. Having just lost out by a head on his debut, the gelding ran respectably in a decent sales race before disappointing at Ballinrobe last time. Former bumper winner Mazyad ran well enough when runner-up on the Flat at Galway to suggest he can also be involved in this open contest.

Another chance is given to NEWTOWN DUKE with a tongue tie added. Babich could provide the main threat if bouncing back to the level of his debut second. Mazyad is also respected but this shorter trip isn't sure to see him in his best light.

Slight preference is for NEWTOWN DUKE who needs to recapture the form of his first two runs following a tame effort at Leopardstown

15:42 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Fravanco is an obvious option having won last time at Kempton, but he has never placed on turf which has to be a concern. Lhebayeb makes the shortlist having won here on heavy ground over shorter and over this trip at Bath, but ENDOFASTORM is preferred. Third at Bath last time out over further, she has a distance win to her name and seems to handle the ground.

The vote goes to GALACTIC GLOW, who has returned to form of late and he wasn't beaten at all far when fourth over 1¼m at Bath last month. Most of his form has come on good/good to firm but he proved that slow ground holds no terrors for him when runner-up at Nottingham during the spring. Artavian, who was a good second here last month, and Lhebayeb may emerge as the main dangers, while the maiden Change of Fortune also needs considering.

On the back of his good second in a higher grade, ARTAVIAN may well go one better. Lhebayeb is second choice.

15:50 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 3) 7f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

ROCKYMOUNTAINWAY was quite taking when drawing clear of her rivals by five lengths at Carlisle in August. Although the handicapper has reacted by hiking the three-year-old 11lb up in the ratings, she may find enough improvement to complete a double. Eminent Jewel was a comfortable winner on the all-weather at Newcastle last month and she rates an obvious threat off a 4lb higher mark. The hat-trick seeking Come On You Spurs completes the shortlist.

Perhaps best to focus on the 3-y-os, with EMINENT JEWEL selected to take another step forward and prove too strong for Rockymountainway and the hat-trick seeking Come On You Spurs.

The lightly raced EMINENT JEWEL is a 3yo on the up and she deserves extra credit for her big-field win at Newcastle last month.

16:00 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WOT YOU WEARING was likely feeling the effects of a long campaign when finishing in seventh at Kempton on February and he may be able to resume his progress on the back of a 248-day layoff. Robert Stephens' gelding was unlucky to bump into the rapidly-improving Gyllen on two occasions last season and he is marginally preferred to Craven Bay, who made a winning stable debut at Warwick last month. Honey I'm Good completes the shortlist.

CRAVEN BAY got back on the up on his debut for Toby Lawes when a comfortable scorer at Warwick and a 4 lb rise in the weights doesn't look sufficient to prevent him from following up. Honey I'm Good arrives in great nick from chasing so could emerge as the main danger back over the smaller obstacles. Mourzouk and Shaving also need factoring into this competitive handicap too.

Craven Bay has to give a lot of weight to HONEY I'M GOOD who has been in good form over fences and is rated lower in this sphere.

THE WAITING GAME rattled up a sequence of five wins last autumn and went close when third at Chelmsford on her latest start. A tight-looking handicap but GRENHAM BAY won off 2 lb higher over this C&D in the spring so could be the answer. Al Ameen and Mokaatil head the dangers.

The vote goes to C&D winner AL AMEEN, who didn't get any luck when a close fourth over 7f here last time.

16:10 Roscommon Stakes 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Despite being unable to complete the hat-trick at Listowel last month, KILLEANEY BEAR can resume winning ways. Hampered by a loose horse on that occasion, the Andrew Slattery-trained gelding is readily forgiven that effort. A game winner of his previous two runs, this small field should suit his prominent racing style. Himalayan Heights had been very consistent prior to opening his account at Tipperary in May. Although well beaten in a premier handicap at the Curragh last time, the colt raced keenly through that race. Hello Neighbour looked a potentially exciting prospect when making a winning debut at Navan. While the drop in trip raises concerns, he could have the class to overcome those doubts.

HELLO NEIGHBOUR has had the form of his Navan maiden win boosted and is selected to make it 2-2, perhaps at the main expense of Himalayan Heights.

It was over 1m6f that HELLO NEIGHBOUR made a winning start at Navan but he didn't look short of speed and he's clearly promising.

16:15 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ZAMBEZI MAGIC is an obvious choice despite the burden of top-weight, with two wins and a second from his last three starts including a Ffos Las win on heavy ground. He won't mind the conditions and an added 5lb from the handicapper may not be enough to stop him. Stintino Sunset got up late over C&D last month and can go close off 2lb higher, leaving Martin Spirit as a tentative suggestion for third.

ZAMBEZI MAGIC notched up his second success from his last 3 starts at Ffos Las in August and, remaining well treated from 5 lb higher on old form, Bernard Llewellyn's 7-y-o can add another success to his tally at the expense of Drouthy Neebor, who is threatening to come good soon based on recent efforts. Martin Spirit, Sapphire Sirocco and Stintino Sunset can fight out minor honours.

A lot of these have questions to answer on various counts but not the in-form ZAMBEZI MAGIC who remains on a workable mark.

16:20 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The Gay Blade recorded a comfortable success over C&D recently and although a 4lb rise should be no barrier to further success, the vote goes to SPACE NINJA. Roger Fell's charge has improved since being gelded and duly opened his account over track and trip last month. Given he has few miles on the clock, a 3lb rise could prove lenient. Code Purple is also noted.

It might be worth siding with KEEP ME STABLE, who was better than the result when fourth to the re-opposing The Gay Blade over C&D 12 days ago and is 5 lb better off at the weights this time. Space Ninja is an improving 3-y-o who won here a month ago so he commands serious respect.

The Gay Blade comes here with a C&D win under his belt but SPACE NINJA's two 7f runs have worked out well and he gets the vote.

16:25 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

LET'S GO HUGO occupied the runner-up berth in this grade at Newcastle earlier in the month and he was only put up 1lb for that display. Ollie Pears' four-year-old remains on a workable mark and he could prove tough to beat. Phoenix Beach has made the frame on each of his last three starts at this venue and should remain competitive, while Blue Force is another to consider.

PHOENIX BEACH is comfortable at this track and arrives in good order, so he's marginally preferred to Let's Go Hugo, who has shaped well on his last two outings. Aces Wild also comes into the reckoning.

The verdict goes to PHOENIX BEACH (nap) who signalled he is ready to bag a second C&D success when a good second here last time.

16:30 Hereford Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Fenney Brook is back for more after winning this last year for Katy Price, but she has raced eight times since without success and looks up against it now. Apples Moon looked much improved when winning at Warwick last month and she could prove the biggest danger to top-weight EDE'IFFS ROCK. Dropped 1lb for her first start of the season when fourth at Fontwell, her last win was off just 2lb higher in January and she is entitled to step forward from that recent effort.

With the promise of more to come from APPLES MOON on the back of her handicap debut success at Warwick, she is taken to follow up here. The consistent State of Honor looks set for another prominent role, while Well Done Dani, who regained the winning thread at Kelso, should also have a part to play.

After displaying a big jolt of improvement to win readily on her recent handicap debut, APPLES MOON (nap) can overcome a 7lb rise.

16:40 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

LAYAALI was having only her second start in a nursery when running into trouble at Newcastle last time. She finished with a late rattle for third once in the clear and looks worth chancing in the hope she gets a smoother passage. Placed over the minimum trip at Wolverhampton, Miakoda is not out of this, while it would be no surprise to see improvement from both Gesundheit and Perfect Parole.

LAYAALI took a step forward when a close third in a Newcastle nursery 2 weeks ago so gets the vote off the same mark. Gesundheit has an eye-catching jockey booking and is the type to do better now qualified for nurseries, so is next best ahead of top-weight Miakoda, who had excuses last time.

This looks tricky but MIAKODA gets the vote ahead of Layaali and Ed Walker's nursery newcomer Gesundheit.

16:45 Roscommon Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TOTAL LOOK hasn't been seen since May but could be suited by this distance. Proven on soft ground, he won on good over today's course in May and with the runner-up (receiving 5lb) scoring subsequently and now being rated 75, that suggests the selection is well-in. Last week's Killarney winner Cast A Spell is just 2lb higher than when finishing second on handicap debut here last month and is also suited by soft ground, so she should compete. Palo Duro ran well at this distance at Galway last month, having previously been outpaced over a mile at that course's summer festival. However, he is 6lb higher and does not have a claiming rider aboard today. Prairie Angel won well at Bellewstown but is 7lb higher.

If PALO DURO backs up his latest, improved effort at Galway he could be the answer to this well-contested handicap. Indeed, he was denied a clear run in that Galway race, one which he may well have won but for encountering traffic problems. Prairie Angel did the job well at Bellewstown recently and merits a good deal of respect, despite going up 7 lb, while Napper Tandy has claims off a workable mark. The unexposed Total Look and You Owe Me Money are others to consider.

On another day PALO DURO might well have prevailed last time at Galway and that was his first attempt at this trip.

16:50 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having improved with each run since a gelding operation in late July, DESPERATE DAN opened his account in emphatic fashion at Nottingham five days ago. The three-year-old looks more than capable of defying a 6lb penalty and can double up. Although the hat-trick seeking Albus Anne requires a career best, she isn't taken lightly and can put up the most resistance to the selection, ahead of The Amazon.

The hat-trick beckons for ALBUS ANNE, who hasn't looked back since a hood went on and had plenty up her sleeve when scooting clear at Bath just under a fortnight ago. She can get the better of Desperate Dan, who progressed again to get off the mark at Nottingham last week and has major claims turned out under a penalty. The Amazon and King David both look interesting too, so they round off the shortlist.

Desperate Dan has to be feared but THE AMAZON is an interesting alternative returned to the scene of his spring win.

16:55 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ROYAL DUKE had Ski Angel (third) in behind when winning comfortably over C&D last time out. Although the former is 5lb worse off, he is expected to confirm his superiority en route to further success. Mrs Bagerran (sixth) and Whiskey Priest (eighth) appear held on that form too, so a likelier threat might be Crack The Kode, who is handicapped to go well back on turf, having shaped with promise at Southwell on his return from a short absence on Tuesday.

Claimer Rhys Elliott has struck up a good partnership with ROYAL DUKE, who had several of these in behind when successful over C&D 12 days ago and he's fancied to follow up. Cuban Rock was better than the result in that race and is entitled to finish closer to the selection this time, with Crack The Kode also of interest.

Last year's winner MRS BAGERRAN has a better draw than when sixth to Royal Duke over C&D recently and can come out on top.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Binadham brings plenty of experience to the table and sets the standard with a rating of 91, but he will need to bounce back from two underwhelming efforts. Taking that into consideration, the less-exposed VEBLEN GOOD looks the way to go. Karl Burke's juvenile found only one too good on his debut at Sandown last month and, with the likelihood of plenty more to come, he gets the nod. Lucid is another to consider.

This should be well contested but QUEENOFDESTRUCTION cost six figures at the Breeze Ups and represents a stable that does well with similar types, so she's worth siding with first time up. Bonnie's Boy is an obvious player and Veblen Good should step forward from his debut, so they're both considered.

Karl Burke's VEBLEN GOOD shaped well when second on his Sandown debut and can build on it here and get off the mark.

It's probably best to draw line through HEDERA PARK's latest effort at Musseburgh and, if she reproduces the form she showed on her penultimate start, the 5-y-o will have every chance here. Pacific upped her game at Stratford and she will be a bif threat if able to build on that, while My Bobby's Lass is also shortlisted.

The suggestion is NO NO FIZZ, who ran very well in defeat on her handicap debut in April and is open to further improvement.

17:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 8f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ARTIFICER was having her first start after a wind operation when debuting for Matt Crawley's yard and finishing third at Lingfield last month. The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor is potentially well handicapped on that evidence and is the one to side with. More Than A Feelin returns to the all-weather with a shout, while Faster Bee looks worth another try over this longer trip.

MORE THAN A FEELIN disappointed back on turf last time but she was beaten only by a subsequent winner over this C&D the time before so is worth another chance. The return to 1m may help Faster Bee so he's next best ahead of Uzincso.

The vote goes to 3yo MORE THAN A FEELIN, who is a big player if she can recapture the form of her close second over C&D in August.

17:20 Roscommon Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BEAUTIFUL CHAOS has won just once from 23 runs but is ideally suited by conditions and this is a winnable handicap. Winner of a Killarney maiden in October 2022, she has run some solid races in defeat in the interim and, having performed well under today's same 10lb claimer at Bellewstown 12 days ago, should be competitive. Bayou Belle has been running consistently well over hurdles recently and while she too has Flat form on soft, is nonetheless a 31-race maiden. Status Green has winning soft-ground form and while he was well held over today's course-and-distance in August, had previously run well over a similar distance at Ballinrobe in June.

BILLIE FRECHETTE shaped better than the bare result when unsuited by the slow pace at Cork last time and could be the answer with a stronger gallop more likely here. Imperial Miss and Beautiful Chaos head the dangers.

There could be a big run in IMPERIAL MISS who hinted at better to come over C&D before running on well over shorter on the AW.

17:25 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A switch to softer ground conditions saw Tilsworth Turf record a second career victory at Ripon last month. A 6lb higher mark is unlikely to prevent another bold bid from the four-year-old, but penalised winner WORLD OF DARCY edges the vote. John Ryan's charge also appreciated a return to turf when capitalising on a career-low mark at Yarmouth last week and that form may prove slightly stronger. Crocus Time is next best.

The first port of call is WORLD OF DARCY, who took advantage of a plummeting mark at Yarmouth last week and John Ryan's 3-y-o remains very well treated on old form under a penalty. Second choice is Thunderous Love, who turned in her best effort since scoring at Salisbury in the spring when runner-up at Brighton last week, with Tilsworth Turf and Crocus Time both fancied to be in the shake-up, too.

Provided he remains in form, WORLD OF DARCY could well defy a penalty. Tilsworth Turf and Thunderous Love are respected.

17:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MESAAFI has made the frame in this grade on each of his last two outings, including over 7f here last time and he goes off an unchanged rating. Charlie Fellowes' four-year-old may only need to maintain that level of form in order to get off the mark. Glitterella could only manage midfield at Salisbury last time, but she is worth another chance based on her pair of runner-up efforts prior to that. Of the remainder, Dapperling makes the most appeal.

MESAAFI is in good form and could be the one to side with iin an open race. Pals Bataliton should go well again, while handicap-debutante Borealis Thunder would require respect if the market spoke in her favour.

Preference is for Harry Eustace's GIGASTAR who appeals as a likely improver now handicapping with the step back up in trip also a plus

17:45 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

360,000gns purchase Naval Command, a half-brother to St Leger winner Eldar Eldarov, makes plenty of appeal on paper and is an obvious candidate for his lofty connections. Push The Limit looks a likely type too and although it would be no surprise were he to figure, THE KING'S FALCON shades preference. A staying-on fourth over 7f at Newbury on his debut, the mile promises to suit and that previous experience will stand him in good stead.

A potentiall very hot maiden, featuring some eye-catching newcomers, none more so than Godolphin's NAVAL CCOMMAND, an expensive son of Lope De Vega. Hawaiian King, Anglophile, Push The Limit and Terrapin are other newcomers to note, especially if they are strong in the market.

Top of the list is Godolphin's newcomer NAVAL COMMAND, who cost 360,000gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to Eldar Eldarov.

18:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A PINT OF BEAR ran on into fourth over 6f here last month before going agonisingly close over C&D last Monday. Scott Dixon's charge appears to be coming to the boil now and, from a handy draw, is taken to gain compensation. Vaunted has yet to confirm her stamina at this trip but the manner in which she won at Bath recently suggests it will be no problem. Adrian Wintle's mare can go close along with Sonmarg, who continues to knock at the door.

A PINT OF BEAR goes well here, is in good order, and has an ideal draw, so he's the solid option in an open-looking contest. Last-time-out winner Vaunted should come into it and Sonmarg deserves plenty of respect.

This has an open look and preference is for the unexposed 3yo SPIRIT OF THE ROSE. Bint Havana Gold is the main danger.

18:15 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Misty Memories was a shade unfortunate not to have finished closer at Beverley but he sets the standard and must enter calculations. That said, it could go the way of debutant MASAI MOON. Charlie Appleby's colt boasts an appealing pedigree and with the yard's juveniles in good form, it would come as no surprise were he up to the task. Helmsley is another to consider.

Another potentially hot novice, and this one may well go to a Godolphin newcomer as well, as MAISAI MOON is certainly bred to be well above average. Misty Memories took a step forward from first run to second and may be the main threat, though debutants Sea Scout and Helmsley also take the eye on paper.

Misty Memories sets a fair standard but there are some interesting newcomers in opposition including Charlie Appleby's MASAI MOON.

18:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BAILEYS WARRIOR recorded a commanding success over C&D on his return from a 75-day absence three weeks ago and, from just 3lb higher, this looks a good opportunity to double up. Robeam finished four-and-a-quarter lengths behind in third that day but more will be needed to reverse that form, so Addosh, who returns from a brief spell over hurdles, might be the bigger threat.

BAILEYS WARRIOR is more consitent than most at this level and arrives on the back of a likeable performance to score over C&D last time, so she's the most solid option for all that Addosh is potentially well handicapped back on the level. Robeam is also respected.

This should take little winning and BAILEYS WARRIOR looks set to follow up after her win here three weeks ago. Addosh is next best.

18:45 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 8f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SHE'S A WARRIOR finished a creditable third over C&D on her debut before going on to score with ease here next time, and any further progress could see the filly go in again. That said, Leadman sets the standard with an official rating of 83 and he ought to have a say. Ombrecell wouldn't be without a chance should a first-time hood help him to settle, while others to note include El Zoud and Newcastle scorer Tasdeed.

SHE'S A WARRIOR picked up really well once the penny dropped when beating a subsequent winner over this C&D last month and she looks capable of defying a penalty. This does look a decent novice, though, with El Zoud and Leadman likely threats.

His second run has been a long time coming but EL ZOUD ran a hugely promising first race at Newcastle.

19:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 8.5f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PORT NOIR hasn't been easy to win with lately, but her recent fourth over course and distance signalled somewhat of a return to form. Robert Stephens' charge is now 2lb below his last successful mark and in a race lacking much depth, another step in the right direction might suffice. Rubellite finished a creditable second over 1m2f at Newcastle last month and is of interest down in trip. Olympic Quest showed little in two starts at Bath recently but she will appreciate a return to the all-weather.

FOREVER PROUD disappointed at Chelmsford last time but the race may have come too soon and she's liable to bounce back after more of a break, so she's worth chancing. Rubellite and Fitz Perfectly arrive in good order and should be on the premises.

Port Noir seemed to stay this trip here last time but preference is for RUBELLITE after her return to form at Newcastle recently.

19:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

With a lack of recent winning form to work with it may pay to focus on those with the best course form, and that points us to the chances of EPSOM FAITHFULL. Her seven wins on the all-weather include four here at Kempton, three over this trip off higher marks, and she's taken to go close. Thapa VC is an obvious threat after his recent C&D second, while Strike can also get involved.

THAPA VC looked as good as ever when runner-up over C&D 12 days ago and can go one better off the same mark. Starshiba ran his best race for a while when second at Newcastle and is next best ahead of Clipsham La Habana.

Top of the list is prolific winner THAPA VC (nap), who was as good as ever when runner-up behind a major improver over C&D last time.

19:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Inexplicable is due to go down 2lb for future races but has been capable off this mark in the past with eight wins here. He can go well but MR SLICKER intrigues on his first start for new connections. A multiple winner in France at Chantilly and Deauville, he looks more than interesting off a mark of 52, leaving Tasever to follow them home.

Hard to make a compelling case for any of these, so long-standing maiden TASEVER gets the tentative nod from his career-low mark with a good-value claimer booked. Eva Roise and Handel are a couple of dangers.

The vote goes to MENG TIAN who has dropped 2lb lower than when successful over C&D in April.

19:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Chris Dwyer has booked Oisin Murphy to ride top-weight Berry Clever and, although still a maiden, he could go close dropping in class. Tambourine Dream is also interesting in first-time cheekpieces after a couple of decent third-placed efforts, but GULTARI may have an edge. She was a solid fourth at Wolverhampton last month, won as recently as August on the turf and looks the most reliable runner in the field.

GULTARI is worth another chance on AW back down in class. The in-form Stacey Racey is next best ahead of Zinchenko.

James Fanshawe's TAMBOURINE DREAM has been knocking on the door and she'll get a good pace to chase back at 7f.

20:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BESET remains a maiden after five starts, but she showed plenty of improvement when stepped up to this trip at Lingfield last month where she finished second. Any further progress may see the Expert Eye filly get off the mark, with Sugarloaf Lenny her biggest rival. Wins at Yarmouth and Lingfield this season were followed by a fourth at Southwell but he may still place, with Bobacious another to at least consider.

GENESIUS arrives on the back of a pair of solid placed efforts and eased 1 lb, he makes plenty of appeal. Bobacious is rarely missed in the market and can remain competitive at this level, while 3-y-o Beset is not yet fully exposed.

C&D winner GENESIUS looks the one to be on here off a career-low mark. The unexposed Beset looks the main danger.

20:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A small field and Tailorman is the only C&D winner in the line-up after he scored by a nose here last month. He can go well, but an added 4lb from the handicapper may be enough to stop him. DYNAMISTE has been put up the same amount for her Bath success but she tries a new trip now and may improve for it. Francesco Baracca is an interesting alternative if he reacts well to a first-time hood.

DYNAMISTE has got his act together upped in trip and fitted with cheekpieces of late and with her stamina drawn out further here, the hat-trick may well be forthcoming. Tailorman also won last time and is the obvious threat.

This can go to TAILORMAN who is likeably consistent and was nicely clear of Naasma when winning here 19 days ago.

20:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

With very little recent winning form to work with, it may be worth considering Mykonos St John, a winner here over shorter in September, but only sixth at Southwell when dropped back to a mile. The seven-year-old can go well, but a chance is taken on CERULEAN SUMMER. Upped just 1lb after a close-up C&D second in September after a slow start, she could go one better here. Persian Phoenix is another to consider in first-time cheekpieces.

CARIAD is just 1 lb above her last successful mark and with this slight step up in trip expected to help her cause, she's just about the most appealing option. Blue Hero and Cerulean Summer are a couple of potential threats.

Charlie Johnston's PERSIAN PHOENIX is on a recovery mission but she's in first-time cheekpieces and could get a soft lead up front.
