14:05 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 6f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This can go the way of SAVANNAH SMILES, who could not have done it any easier when scoring at Chepstow last week and this C&D winner looks well capable of overcoming a 5lb penalty. Successful on his debut for new connections at Bath, Honour Your Dreams could be open to plenty more improvement on the rise in distance. Master Dandy is another to consider, having finished second the last twice at Southwell.

Despite a pretty intense campaign, SAVANNAH SMILES took her form to a whole new level when blowing apart a Chepstow handicap last week and she has to be of major interest under a penalty. Honour Your Dreams also won recently and may have more to offer for new connections, with Master Dandy another to consider.

Savannah Smiles is in fine form but HONOUR YOUR DREAMS has made a good start for Mick Appleby and can follow up his Bath win.

14:20 Carlisle Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Thecla shaped with promise on her debut and appeals as a likely improver, but MONETIZE shares a similar profile and is narrowly preferred. The daughter of Mohaather displayed signs of inexperience on her racecourse bow but should fare better now, and, with the Bryan Smart yard in flying form, she looks to hold every chance. Thecoffeepoddotco could progress in first-time cheekpieces, while Callisto Dream appeals most of the newcomers.

THECLA looked in need of the experience when mid-field in a Southwell novice 16 days ago, running on having been slowly away, so she is taken to build on that effort and open her account at the second time of asking. Thecoffeepoddotco ran to a fair level on her first 3 starts and is feared most with cheekpieces added, ahead of newcomer Maid of Killybegs.

This could be a good opportunity for MONETIZE on the back of a promising debut third at Thirsk. Thecla is feared most.

14:35 Lingfield Stakes (Class 3) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

HELLO MISS LADY outran huge odds to finish a highly promising second over 7f at Kempton last month and she could well have won that contest with a clearer run. Dylan Cunha's filly is likely to improve for stepping up to a mile and she gets the vote ahead of Wolverhampton third Go Wild and Lightningboltzoom, who has switched yards since a creditable debut effort at Chelmsford.

HELLO MISS LADY has progressed with each run and, with the step back up in trip sure to suit, this looks an excellent opportunity for her to get off the mark. Go Wild is narrowly preferred to Lightningboltzoom for the forecast spot.

Dylan Cunha's HELLO MISS LADY holds the clear edge on the form of her 7f Wolverhampton novice second.

14:50 Carlisle Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The Feminine Urge overcame traffic problems to record a narrow success at Catterick and while a 3lb rise looks fair, she will need prove to herself on forecast slower ground. With that in mind, a chance can be taken on ZADKIEL. The gelded son of Dark Angel showed some ability in maiden/novice events and does not look overburdened by an opening mark of 62. A switch to nurseries should be more suitable, and pedigree suggests he will have no problem with any cut in the ground. Stirrup Cup is also noted.

THE FEMININE URGE took a step forward when getting off the mark on her nursery debut at Catterick last month, value for extra having overcome trouble in running, so she looks to hold leading claims of following up. I Need Your Love could be the main danger as he heads into handicaps in first-time blinkers, with Love Games completing the shortlist.

Nursery newcomer ZADKIEL could tap into the potential in his pedigree now that he's been gelded and he is given the vote.

15:05 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LAZIEELUNCH did extremely well to overcome a wide draw and hanging late in the piece when scoring narrowly from Matharu at Kempton last month and he can uphold that form, despite being 1lb worse off at the weights. A consistent sort without getting his head in front, Enchanted Eye is likely to be thereabouts, along with Thiscouldbefun, who showed great promise when third over 7f at Newbury last time out.

MATHARU has much improved since switched to nurseries and the way he landed the odds at Kempton 3 weeks ago suggests he can defy a 9 lb rise. Lazieelunch narrowly beat the selection on his latest outing at Kempton and is the obvious threat on 1 lb worse terms, with Enchanted Eye best of the others.

The rematch between Lazieelunch and Matharu could go either way. THISCOULDBEFUN is an interesting alternative.

15:25 Carlisle Handicap (Class 6) 6f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

An open contest in which only a tentative vote can go to MRS TRUMP. Paul Midgley's charge was rewarded for her consistency when on target at Redcar recently and, given she remains competitively treated from 3lb higher, a repeat bid could be on the cards. Sounds Of Spring and The Gay Blade were both able to exploit sliding handicap marks when winning on their latest starts and must enter calculations. Atomise and Asadjumeirah are just two others to consider.

Having fallen a long way in the weights, SOUNDS OF SPRING readily landed a gamble at Ffos Las 12 days ago and given he retains plenty of handicap scope, he looks the way to go. The Gay Blade also arrives in top form so he's second choice, with John Kirkup another to consider.

Plenty with a chance in this low-grade sprint in which MISS CALCULATIONp\, who has conditions to suit, is taken to beat \bBack Tomorrow.

15:40 Lingfield Maiden (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SIXTEEN ONE was just touched off when sent off favourite for her debut over 6f at Leicester in July and the daughter of Land Force could be hard to beat with the benefit of that experience. Tara Road also showed plenty of promise on her racecourse bow and could give the selection something to think about. Others to note are Lilly's Bet, Sofia The First and Rhyme Dust.

SIXTEEN ONE pulled clear of the rest when only just denied at Leicester on debut 6 weeks ago and looks the one to beat. Darn Hot Mystery offered something to work on when third at Kempton and is next best ahead of Sofia The First.

Judged on her Leicester effort, there should be an ordinary maiden in SIXTEEN ONE who is first choice ahead of Lilly's Bet.

15:45 Cork Stakes 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

REBEL DIAMOND has progressed nicely with racing and looks to have been found a good opportunity to add to a Naas maiden win last month. The Cotai Glory colt was runner-up on a couple of occasions, including at Leopardstown, before that breakthrough success and is well suited by a sound surface. The Joseph O'Brien-trained Vanilla Baby appeals on pedigree, being a Twilight Son filly out of a Galileo mare and a half-sister to seven winners. Temperance indicated some ability on debut, keeping on well inside the final furlong after a slow start when fifth to the odds-on Dignam at Tipperary, although this step back in trip may prove a bit too sharp.

TEMPERANCE showed plenty to work on at Tipperary on debut and can find the required improvement to beat penalised-winner Rebel Diamond.

With a major advantage in experience and a win under his belt REBEL DIAMOND can be fancied to concede weight to his five rivals.

15:55 Carlisle Handicap (Class 6) 5f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Eldeyaar made every yard of the running to score in convincing style at Wolverhampton six days ago and he holds an obvious chance under his penalty. However, INANNA looks the way to go. Jim Goldie's four-year-old hit the crossbar at Musselburgh and a repeat of that display may be good enough off a 1lb higher rating. Secret Command is another to consider after his third at Beverley.

ELDEYAAR made all in good style at Wolverhampton recently so looks up to defying a penalty. Inanna has made a positive start for this yard so rates the main threat ahead of C&D winner Secret Command, who is back on a winning mark.

The filly INANNA has shaped with promise in defeat on her first two runs for Jim Goldie and is taken to snap a lengthy losing sequence.

16:03 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Mutual Respect was in good heart at this time last year and market support on his return from a 348-day absence would be interesting. However, ROYAL MAX found only a pair of improving chasers too strong on his second outing over fences at Market Rasen last month and the six-year-old shades the verdict racing off a 2lb lower mark. Moodofthemoment also enters calculations after a promising second on his stable bow over C&D.

MUTUAL RESPECT looks sure to give another good account if ready to go on his first start for 11 months. Moodofthemoment shaped well starting out for this yard when second over C&D 3 weeks ago and is next best ahead of Royal Max.

Five-time chase winner BLUEBERRY WINE has not been at his best this year but is well handicapped and might be boosted by cheekpieces.

16:15 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 8f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

In a moderate event, it is hard to oppose TIME TESTED, who has won two of his last three starts and was second on the other occasion. Michael Bell's colt is only 4lb higher than for the most recent of those victories and that may not be enough to stop him here. Recent C&D third Joolianoss edges out Calanthe and Centurion Dream to be best of the rest.

TIME TESTED has found some improvement at a low level of late, never stronger than at the finish when making it 2 wins from his last 3 starts in a C&D handicap 2 weeks ago. He makes plenty of appeal up 4 lb. Joolianoss rates the chief threat, ahead of Apache Canyon. Commander Crouch isn't one to write off either now blinkers are reached for.

The vote goes to JOOLIANOSS (nap), who is moving in the right direction and ran well over C&D most recently. Time Tested is feared.

16:20 Cork Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

COMANCHE BRAVE had Winter Bonfire about three lengths behind, with Montpellier Green and Lost President further adrift, when a promising fourth on debut behind Ides Of March at the Curragh last month, and the form of that 19-runner maiden has worked out well since. Aston Value cost 72,000 pounds as a yearling and is a half-brother to three winners, including the speedy Deep Intrigue, while the Kieren Cotter-trained pair City Pass and Lily's Magic both have strong jockey bookings. Ohmali is by speedy first-season sire Sands Of Mali, but his dam won over 1m4f.

COMANCHE BRAVE made a bright start in front of Winter Bonfire in a strong maiden at the Curragh last month and seems sure to go close if improving on that. His old rival can also progress and is a likely player. Newcomer Aston Value is worth a look.

Donnacha O'Brien's COMANCHE BRAVE shaped with promise in a strong maiden at the Curragh. He can uphold form with Winter Bonfire

16:28 Carlisle Maiden (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

South Pole sets the standard with a rating of 82 and sports a first-time visor, but his latest fifth at Kempton was a modest effort. With that in mind, it may pay to side with CATCH THE LIGHT, who produced the best performance of her career so far when runner-up at Salisbury in June. With further progress likely, she could be the one to beat. Christian Bruce might take a step forward from her debut sixth at Goodwood and she completes the shortlist.

The pick of GAMES PEOPLE PLAY's maiden form has worked out particularly well and, with her latest Haydock run easily excused, she appeals as the type to quickly get back on track returned to maiden company. South Pole may well be sharper with his latest run under his belt and is feared with a visor replacing the blinkers. Catch The Light and Christian Bruce are next best, in that order.

This maiden can go to GAMES PEOPLE PLAY who ran well at Newbury on her reappearance but hasn't fared quite as well since.

16:35 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It's hard to look beyond NEXT LEFT after his 15-length romp over track and trip at the start of the month. Dan Skelton's charge is fancied to make light work of a 7lb penalty and a third victory over fences is anticipated. The hat-trick seeking Roccovango has impressed with his determination over hurdles and he may serve the most resistance to the selection on his chase bow. Thank You Blue and Duke Of Luckley are others to consider.

NEXT LEFT is clearly a much better chaser than hurdler and looks capable of defying a penalty given the manner of his win over C&D 10 days ago. Thank You Blue was going well when falling 3 out over C&D last month and rates the main threat ahead of the in-form Duke of Luckley.

Improving 8yo NEXT LEFT won by 15l over C&D ten days ago and still looks well handicapped under a 7lb penalty.

16:50 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Whoop Whoop has to be of interest having won over C&D a week ago, but this is tougher and a 6lb penalty will not help her chances. With that in mind, preference is for SONMARG, whose placed efforts in July were encouraging and a mark of 68 should be workable for the son of Dandy Man. The shortlist is completed by Berry Clever and Union Island.

Forcing tactics and cheekpieces have contributed to a return to form for WHOOP WHOOP of late and she's fancied to record a quick-fire C&D double under a penalty. Berry Clever was much better than the result last time so he commands respect, while Union Island may have a bigger performance in him.

Granted another easy lead, WHOOP WHOOP could well defy a penalty for her C&D win. Sonmarg is second choice.

16:55 Cork Handicap 6f  Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

HEART OF DARKNESS won a maiden over this trip at Dundalk in April and the lightly-raced filly has more scope for improvement than her rivals. She didn't enjoy much luck in running on her only subsequent start here the following month in the Listed Polonia Stakes and it will be interesting to see how strong she is in the market on handicap debut after a summer break. Imperial Dream appreciated a sound surface when taking a 21-runner Curragh handicap over this trip last month, with Never Shout Never (now 7lb better off) two lengths back in fourth, while C&D winner Grand City Hall blew his chance at the start in Ascot last time.

Having won here in May, GRAND CITY HALL was shaping up well prior to an excusable run at Ascot a month ago, so he's preferred to Imperial Dream and Moltophino, who should both be on the premises.

Though absent since contesting a Listed race at this venue in May HEART OF DARKNESS could be equal to the task in her first handicap

17:03 Carlisle Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A 4lb rise in the ratings for ISLE OF WOLVES' C&D victory last month looks on the lenient side. The veteran scored with something up his sleeve that day and another bold bid is anticipated. The biggest threat may emerge from fellow in-form rival Makalu, who arrives on the back of runner-up efforts at Ripon and Hamilton. Course scorer William Dewhirst is worth a second look dropping in class, while Strongbowe should appreciate the return to a mile.

BRAES OF DOUNE is thriving and had no luck bidding for the hat-trick at Musselburgh last time, suffering significant interference and finishing on the bridle. As such he's worth a chance to get back to winning ways, with Makalu and Isle of Wolves appealing as the chief dangers.

A C&D winner last time, the consistent ISLE OF WOLVES (nap) again has conditions to suit him and he is taken to win from Makalu.

17:10 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having stayed on doggedly to open his account at Ffos Las in May, it may pay to stick with the lightly-raced LONG DRAW. That first victory was the five-year-old's second appearance in handicap company and he may have enough improvement in him to defy a 6lb rise. Kosasiempre arrives on the back of a double at Market Rasen and she warrants respect in her bid for a hat-trick. Dual course winner Oceanline is sure to have his supporters too.

Previous C&D winner PRESENTING NELLY hasn't finished improving yet and she shaped better than the result at Uttoxeter last time, so she's fancied to get back to winning ways at the possible expense of Long Draw, who scored impressively at Ffos Las when last seen. Oceanline and Kosasiempre are others to consider.

Dan Skelton's PRESENTING NELLY (nap) looks primed for a bold showing on the back of her promising Uttoxeter sixth and gets the vote

17:20 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GOLDEN PHASE finished last of six in a class 4 handicap at Newmarket, which was an underwhelming display considering the good form she showed prior. Denis Coakley's four-year-old takes a drop in grade and might be able to capitalise on a 1lb lower rating back on the all-weather. Nancy P struck over track and trip in June and if she can recapture that sort of form, she could go close off a 4lb higher mark. Of the remainder, Pure Of Heart makes the most appeal.

Most of this field have a poor run to bounce back from, including PURE OF HEART, but she's into a lesser grade now and had been shaping up well previously, so she might be the answer to a tricky contest. Beset is a notable handicap debutante and Moon Angel could do better.

The step up in trip can suit BESET who should do better in handicaps if able to repeat the form of her Windsor fourth in April.

17:25 Cork Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SURPASS AND SHINE showed improved form when stepped up to this trip at Leopardstown last time and gets the vote. The Pat Flynn-trained colt was having just his second start in a handicap when prominent throughout in that 18-runner event and has scope for further improvement, with Billy Lee again taking the ride. Goldmoyne is closely matched with the selection on running over 6f here in July and he subsequently gained a second victory over 7f at the Curragh when making all to beat 27 rivals. Others to consider include Morning Approach, Church Mountain, Blue Wood and Amemri.

SURPASS AND SHINE arrives in top form, which can't be said for many of his rivals, and he's fancied to go one better than his excellent second at Leopardstown last month. Goldmoyne and Church Mountain could emerge as the main dangers.

This provides SURPASS AND SHINE to step up a place after a fine second over 7f at Leopardstown. He had previously run well over C&D

17:33 Carlisle Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MYAL's breakthrough victory at Haydock last month has worked out well and he is one to keep the right side of. Steph Hollinshead's three-year-old looks fairly treated off just a 4lb higher mark and appears to have been found a suitable opportunity to follow up. Having only faltered in the closing stages when fifth at Hamilton, Roach Power is dangerous to discount now 4lb below his last winning mark. Hectic and The Amazon are also noted.

MYAL found improvement to open his account at Haydock a month ago and is bred to do better again, so he's preferred to mostly more exposed types who have something to prove. Hectic should give his running and Broken Spear is likely to be back on his game with a visor refitted and returning to turf.

The improving MYAL won a Haydock race that is working out well and is taken to follow up from just 4lb higher.

17:40 Worcester Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MISS GOLDFIRE showed major improvement from her first to second start over hurdles when runner-up over 2m here, shaping as though stepping up in trip would suit. The five-year-old gets that opportunity now and she can get off the mark, possibly at the main expense of last-time-out course bumper winner Rockola Vogue. Confidential Gosip is a player on her first start for new connections, and Dameofthecotswolds and The Dream Goes On cannot be ruled out either.

There should be plenty more to come from bumper winner MISS GOLDFIRE over hurdles and on pedigree, this step up in trip really ought to suit, She's just about the percentage call, though Dameofthecotswolds is dangerous in receipt of weight all round for her in-form yard, with Rockola Vogue also of interest now tackling obstacles.

She has a point to prove after a poor run in May but DAMEOFTHECOTSWOLDS ought to be too good for this field if back in good form.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

THE PUG bounced back to form when filling the runner-up spot at Southwell last week and he goes off an unchanged mark. The son of Churchill is a previous course winner and looks well placed to get his head back in front. Bluenose Belle took the silver medal home at Kempton on her latest outing and it would be no surprise to see her get into contention off the same rating. Luna Effect looks the best of the rest.

BLUENOSE BELLE left a string of disappointing efforts in her wake when runner-up at Kempton last month, beaten only by a steadily improving 3-y-o. She's given the tentative vote to go one place better. The Colorist may yet have more to offer at this trip and is feared along with The Pug. Snapius and Luna Effect are others who need keeping an eye on.

The Pug and BLUENOSE BELLE both returned to form on their latest starts and the latter is just preferred.

17:55 Cork Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

VON KROLOCK drops into 47-65 class and looks dangerous. Billy Lee rides the top-weight for the first time and the five-year-old gelding's last three form figures over 7f read '134'. I Bid You Ajou also fares best over this trip and his runner-up berth in a massive field at the Curragh last month was a notable effort. There could be more to come from Mags in her second handicap. There was merit in her fifth at Cork and sixth in the Curragh as they were decent maidens. Suityourselfboss is up 9lb from winning at Dundalk in April and hasn't been seen on turf for almost two years. She has claims if enjoying fast ground on her return to action.

MAGS arrives easily one of the least exposed and ran her best race yet without being ideally placed when fifth in a big-field Curragh handicap (6f) 25 days ago. She's of interest returned to this longer trip, with Shaaden, Suityourselfboss and Akeela heading the list of dangers. Lucky Queen is another to bear in mind back down in trip from her much-reduced mark.

There was plenty of promise from MAGS (nap) on handicap debut at the Curragh, giving the impression a return to 7f would suit

18:10 Worcester Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The Olly Murphy stable has been going well of late and this looks like a decent opportunity for THE FLYING POET on the back of a narrow runner-up effort at Hexham. The five-year-old is expected to improve for stepping up in trip and it may be that Southwell second Chancycourt gives him the most to think about. A creditable third in a C&D handicap last time out, Mahler Moon is another to consider, as are Almuhit and King Roly.

It's feasible to think ANYTRIXWILLDO remains with a bigger effort in his locker judged on his initial promise and, having possibly found deep ground against him in a light 2023/24 campaign, he could be worth chancing to hit the ground running over the longest trip he's faced. Bumper scorer King Roly, Chancycourt and Mahler Moon head up the dangers, with The Flying Poet another to keep an eye on upped further in distance.

This could rest between hurdling debutants KING ROLY and Moonset with preference for Peter and Michael Bowen's Perth bumper scorer

18:25 Cork Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A race where the market should be very informative. There is plenty to like about HAPPIEST on paper. Aidan O'Brien's Camelot filly is a half-sister to an Irish 1,000 Guineas winner and holds an entry in the Group 1 Fillies' Mile at Newmarket next month. Justify filly Tswalu represents an in-form pair of Joseph O'Brien and Dylan Browne McMonagle, and could show up well. Jaliyah's fourth on debut at the Curragh has been well franked. She wasn't at her best on her next start in Naas, but that was on slower ground. Sea Coral, who was runner-up in a barrier trial at Leopardstown, and Touted Plan are other possible contenders.

This can go to a newcomer, with HAPPIEST taken to continue Aidan O'Brien's good record in this. Tswalu is one of 2 interesting ones for Joseph O'Brien, while Kitty Rickets might ruffle a few feathers at bigger odds having made a promising start at the Curragh for David Geary.

SEA CORAL pulled nicely clear with another in a barrier trial recently and she ought to improve over this sort of trip on debut

18:40 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Santa Clarita was the beneficiary of a final-flight faller over 2m4f here on her stable debut, but it would come as no surprise were she to progress further and she looks an obvious candidate under the penalty. BEST MATE DAVE finished third that day, but he was hampered on two separate occasions so is backed to turn the tables on the revised terms and back over further. Others to note include Catuaba and Mactavish.

SANTA CLARITA might have been a fortunate winner here last time but it was still a firm step in the right direction for her new stable and, with more to offer, she's worth a chance to defy a penalty. Indian Sunbird should be on the premises along with Mactavish.

The suggestion is INDIAN SUNBIRD, who was in good form here prior to a spill last time and will see out every yard.

18:55 Cork Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

RUBIES FROM BURMA caught the eye staying on for a never-nearer third in Leopardstown. She was beaten just over two lengths by the winner, who is viewed as a stakes horse. That was the selection's first run on turf and it was certainly promising. Old Sea has attained a rating of 74 after three outings. His latest run in third at Killarney in July was his best performance and the form has been emphatically endorsed, so he is arguably the horse to beat. Silent Guardian was first in a Leopardstown barrier trial and Colin Keane has been booked for his track debut, so his claims are stronger than most.

Those with experience in similar contests don't set the bar too high so SILENT GUARDIAN, a winner of a barrier trial, may well be the answer. Rubies From Burma and My Little Lady are probably the chief threats.

Having shown a good attitude last time, RUBIES FROM BURMA ought to go well for a yard in form and there's more improvement likely

19:10 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HEDERA PARK was in command when coming to grief at the last over 2m4f here recently, in a race eventually won by Santa Clarita (engaged to run in the 6.40). Debra Hamer's mare is able to compete off a 1lb lower mark and, if coping with a drop in trip, is fancied to gain compensation. Caldwell returns to jumping having posted a couple of solid efforts on the Flat and he makes plenty of appeal, along with the unexposed Cusano and Scintillante.

SCINTILLANTE produced an effort more in keeping with his Flat form when runner-up in a C&D maiden 10 days ago and looks up to going one better on this switch to handicaps if he can reproduce it. Hedera Park had the race at her mercy when falling at the last here on her most recent outing and is sure to pose a big threat if none the worse, with Caldwell also of interest having taken advantage of a reduced mark in emphatic fashion over C&D in July.

Preference is for SCINTILLANTE, whose latest effort gives him a good chance of going one better in this field, granted a repeat.

19:25 Cork Handicap 9f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

KILLEANEY BEAR has won two of his last three races and this trip and better ground seem to have been the making of him. He doesn't look badly weighted in this company. Polemon gave Alan Casey his first winner at Gowran Park in August. The five-year-old gelding was a decisive winner over further in Tipperary at the start of the month, so has to be respected. Alabama Calling is on a dangerous mark with Darragh O'Sullivan's 10lb claim factored in, while Tanazadia and Bear Profit will have their supporters. First-time cheekpieces could elicit a bit more from Alessia Fernanda.

TANAZADIA looked unlucky not to win a novice event at Tramore 3 weeks ago give she was denied a clear run and on that evidence, this mark looks a workable one back in a handicap. Killeaney Bear and Alessia Fernanda are a couple of potential threats.

POLEMON was good value for the winning margin at Tipperary last week and there could still be more to come for his new connections
