(1) Deploy To Spy 5/6, Runner-up in only bumper. Still in contention (likely to have been placed) when brought down 2 out on hurdles debut in July but made up for that piece of bad luck when successful in 12-runner Uttoxeter novice (2m, good) a fortnight later. 13:20 Perth Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DEPLOY TO SPY bolted up by five lengths at Uttoxeter in July and he is likely to have plenty more to offer on only his third start over hurdles. Olly Murphy's six-year-old has a 7lb penalty to carry but considering the manner of his victory last time, he could still prove tough to beat. Tommys Law has hit the crossbar on each of his last two starts and he should go well again, while Chief Sunday is worth a market check on his first start over the smaller obstacles.

TOMMYS LAW made a promising start to his hurdle career in the spring and can make the most of the weight he receives from previous hurdle winner Deploy To Spy and land this opener for Lucinda Russell.

Tommys Law is respected but DEPLOY TO SPY quickened nicely clear on the run-in at Uttoxeter in July and gets the verdict.

13:40 Redcar Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

An encouraging second when making her handicap debut at Beverley last month, MAVETHEFORCEBEWIVU is likely to improve for the step up in trip as long as she learns to settle better. The daughter of Land Force is narrowly preferred to recent Newcastle second Force Of Honour, who has almost four lengths to find with the selection from that Beverley contest. Aleishka and Capturethemoment are expected to be thereabouts as well.

FORCE OF HONOUR showed much improved form ridden from the front when second at Newcastle earlier this month and a repeat could be enough for Craig Lidster's filly to go one better. Second choice is Gentle Warrior, who has offered little in his qualifying runs but could prove a different proposition fitted with a visor now heading down the nursery route. Mavetheforcebewivu and Aleishka can fight out third.

Value for closer at Newcastle latest, DARK RAINBOW ought to find races over 1m and is preferred to nursery debutant Gentle Warrior.

13:52 Perth Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FOUROFAKIND was a shock winner when accounting for his nearest rival by three lengths over track and trip last month and he is only 6lb higher for that triumph. Following a respectable effort on the Flat at York, Lizzie Quinlan's five-year-old has lots in his favour and is taken to record a hurdles double. Vocal Duke made the frame in a tougher contest than this at Catterick last time and he could have a say off a 1lb higher mark. Of the remainder, Matchless makes the most appeal.

BOIS GUILLBERT is only 1 lb higher than when scoring on last season's reappearance and is taken to repeat the feat. Fourofakind has run quite well on the Flat since his C&D success last month and is second choice ahead of Matchless.

Upped-in-trip 5yo BOIS GUILLBERT won when fresh last autumn and now bids to repeat that feat from a workable mark.

14:00 Listowel Maiden Hurdle 16f  Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The Willie Mullins-trained SEA OF SANDS was a Group 3 winner at three in Germany before losing his form at four. He hasn't been seen for over two years but is given the vote to make a winning start in this discipline. The selection's former stablemate Special Cadeau has had three starts over hurdles and was runner-up on testing ground at Naas in May. He returns from a summer break and starts off for Henry de Bromhead. The Mediator has been placed in half of his eight starts over hurdles but didn't improve much for first-time blinkers when fourth at Galway. Brave Fortune had a couple of decent hurdle runs in the spring and is another to consider.

A few of these in with a squeak but SPECIAL CADEAU got back on track when finishing runner-up at Naas 6 months ago and providing he's ready to roll, he's fancied to make a winning start for Henry de Bromhead at the expense of Sea of Sands, who hasn't been seen for over 2 years but warrants considerable respect making his hurdling debut for champion trainer Willie Mullins. Brave Fortune can edge out The Mediator for third.

German Group 3 winner SEA OF SANDS could not be a confident choice having been off for two years. However, he may be equal to the task

14:10 Redcar Handicap (Class 5) 6f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This can go the way of FALLEN SOLDIER, who seems to be getting the hang of things of late after a career-best effort when second at Thirsk over this distance. The conditions of this contest should suit him and the son of Soldier's Call may have too much for unexposed Wolverhampton third Forteleza, as well as Saytarr, who almost broke his duck at Ffos Las last time out.

SAYTARR again went through the race as though ahead of his mark when second at Ffos Las a month ago and this well-bred colt is fancied to get the job done this time. Fallen Soldier is a solid opponent, with Forteleza the type to go on improving now handicapping.

Fallen Soldier could be all the better for cheekpieces but SAYTARR won't mind what the weather does and gets the vote.

14:20 Goodwood Maiden (Class 2) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

SING US A SONG lost little in defeat when finishing third in a hot Newbury maiden over a mile last month and, with the promise of more to come stepping up in trip, he looks the one to side with. There is lots to like about the David Menuisier-trained Karaway on paper and he looks the pick of the newcomers. The 65,000-euro son of Lope De Vega Novelista is expected to know his job ahead of his debut and completes the shortlist.

SING US A SONG improved on his debut form despite still looking in need of the experience when third in a Newbury maiden 6 weeks ago. Open to further improvement, with this even longer trip entitled to suit, he rates a solid proposition here. Newcomers Novelista and Karaway may emerge as the chief threats before the benefit of market clues.

Having kept on for a close third at Newbury last month, SING US A SONG can get off the mark at the third attempt.

14:28 Perth Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BOWLING BUDDY took a pleasant step forward to justify short odds in style at Cartmel on his latest outing and the son of Ask now makes his handicap debut. Olly Murphy's charge has far from reached his ceiling yet and it would be no surprise to see him defy his opening mark of 110. Cuban Cigar had Ravenscraig Castle (third) behind when finishing second over track and trip earlier in the month and he is expected to confirm that form to prove the biggest threat to the selection.

BOWLING BUDDY opened his Rules account with plenty to spare at Cartmel last time and, for all that the handicapper has taken no chances with his opening mark, he's fancied to improve past these more exposed types on handicap debut. Cuban Cigar should be on the premises and Old Gregorian isn't without hope.

This looks a good opportunity for BOWLING BUDDY, a stiff initial mark notwithstanding. Recent C&D second Cuban Cigar is next best.

14:35 Listowel Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GAUCHER can reverse Galway Festival form with Le Coq Hardi and land this prize. The Frankel gelding has jumped left the last couple of times and should be helped by switching from right-handed tracks. He was keen when easily winning a Punchestown maiden and was worse in that regard when a disappointing favourite at Ballybrit. Paul Townend will probably let him stride on over this sharp two miles and he is taken to bounce back to form. Dual hurdles winner Le Coq Hardi was over eight lengths ahead of the selection at Galway and will have plenty of supporters, while Zariygann impressed on hurdling debut at Roscommon when he had recent winner Itsalladream a long way behind in third.

LE COQ HARDI had little chance with a with a smart one at Galway las time but he beat the rest easily enough (including Gaucher) so he's selected to successfully concede weight all round. The Willie Mullins-pair Gaucher and Crack The Sky have to bounce back from lesser efforts but that is perfectly plausible.

GAUCHER was too keen at Galway last time when also jumping left. He can rebound at this more suitable track.

14:45 Redcar Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A significant improver from first to second start when only worn down late in the piece at Yarmouth last month, CALEDONIAN looks more than capable of getting off the mark on this occasion. Dropping in class after a disappointing effort in the Convivial at York, High Season can give him the most to think about, ahead of Lunar Orbit, who shaped with promise on debut at Leicester. A costly purchase at the sales, Last Galileo should be monitored for market support ahead of his debut.

HIGH SEASON had an excuse for his effort in the Convivial at York and is given another chance to confirm the promise of his Beverley debut second. Caledonian shaped well when runner-up at Yarmouth last time and can provide the chief threat unless the betting vibes are strong surrounding Karl Burke newcomer Last Galileo.

Last Galileo has a Group 1 entry and could be anything, but HIGH SEASON has experience and he endured a wide trip at York last time.

14:55 Goodwood Handicap (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

LEADMAN performed with plenty of credit when finishing a close-up fourth over 7f at Sandown on his handicap debut earlier this month. This step back up in trip has the potential to eke out some improvement and, off an unchanged mark, this might be the time to catch him. Last seen finishing sixth in a Meydan handicap in February, Naxos is respected, while Thunder Ball's last win came over C&D last season and he is noted too.

RHOSCOLYN arrives on the mark he was successful from in this corresponding race 12 months ago and, with underfoot conditions firmly in his favour, he can continue the excellent run of form for the David O'Meara yard. Fellow C&D winner Thunder Ball has fallen back down the weights himself and may emerge as the chief threat, ahead of Magic Memories and Hafeet Alain.

Testing ground at Goodwood has often brought out the best in RHOSCOLYN and he is taken to win back-to-back runnings of this race.

15:03 Perth Handicap Chase (Class 2) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

KINONDO KWETU arrives here on a hat-trick after wins at Uttoxeter and most recently over 2m7f at Worcester, and he appears primed to add to his winning thread. The eight-years-old has been raised 3lb for that latest two-length success which doesn't appear likely to halt his progression. Fellow last-time-out winner Wasdell Dundalk scored over C&D earlier this month and another bold bid can be expected, while Inis Oirr is worthy of consideration if he can bounce back to form after falling in the Scottish National at Ayr in April.

A quintet to view positively with STATUARIO, a 4-time course winner, taken to enhance that record having contested a much deeper race in Ireland last time. Inis Oirr lacks a recent run but appeals as the type to raise his game again this term, with Kinondo Kwetu also of interest.

This might be fought out by the multiple course winners STATUARIO (nap) and Wasdell Dundalk. The Bowen runner gets the nod.

15:10 Listowel Handicap Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Plenty with chances in a competitive handicap and recent Down Royal runner-up EASTMORE is a tentative selection. Useful on the Flat last year, the Awtaad gelding seemed to benefit from the application of a tongue-tie when staying on well over a furlong shorter last time and the lightly-raced four-year-old is open to improvement. Riyami, for whom JJ Slevin is an interesting booking, has been running well under both codes this year and was third over this trip at Kilbeggan last month. King Kali was narrowly denied at Naas in the spring and ran well in a Killarney maiden when last seen in July. He may find the trip a faction short but should give a good account nonetheless.

EASTMORE finished strongly and just failed when well backed at Down Royal last time and could go one better with more improvement likely. Cork winner Gabriel Ranger and Suttons Hill are a couple of others to consider.

Probably a bit unlucky when just touched off at Down Royal last time, there should be more to come from EASTMORE.

15:20 Redcar Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

325,000-euro breeze-up purchase MY CLOUD pulled clear with the eventual winner when finishing runner-up over 7f at Newcastle on his debut in February, and the son of Blue Point gets the vote to atone for that near-miss here. This drop back in trip should suit Ghaihaban and the daughter of Too Darn Hot can emerge as the main danger to the selection, while Melodiam is also of interest.

Palace Pier's half-brother MY CLOUD showed plenty of promise when narrowly denied on his debut back in February and can go one better on his return. This is a rather belated first outing of the season for Walsingham but he's the obvious form threat to the selection if retaining anything like the ability he showed for Dermot Weld in Ireland last year.

Another chance can be given to Palace Pier's half-brother MY CLOUD who was odds-on when beaten on his debut back in February.

15:30 Goodwood Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The consistent HUDDLE UP gets a tentative vote. He fared best of those held up off the pace when finishing a never-nearer second over 6f at Yarmouth last week and, off an unchanged mark, he edges preference. Land Of Magic did it well when making all over this trip at Salisbury recently and a 4lb rise doesn't look insurmountable, while Danger Alert is another to note.

TIRIAC hasn't had the rub of the green lately and his mark has edged back down as a result, so he's worth a chance to capitalise on this drop in grade at the possible expense of the in-form Huddle Up. Danger Alert is another obvious player.

Danger Alert and TIRIAC can fight this out, with the latter selected to improve on last year's close second in this race.

This represents a good opportunity for THANK YOU BLUE to get off the mark over the larger obstacles at the fifth time of asking. Jennie Candlish's runner ran on well for third over 2m4f at Worcester earlier this month and, with a more enterprising ride, he could be a tough nut to crack. Blow The Budget was beaten just two lengths off this mark over the extended 2m4f at Market Rasen on her penultimate start in May and a repeat of that form would see her in the shake-up, while a return to form for Indian Louis would see him on the scene.

Hurdles-scorer THANK YOU BLUE brings the most compelling recent chase form to the table when third at Worcester 2 weeks ago and he looks the way to go down in class with his yard amongst the winners. Most have a little something to prove, so returning pair Augharue and Indian Louis may pose chief resistance.

Placed in a much stronger race than this at Worcester a fortnight ago, THANK YOU BLUE can open his chasing account here.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The Henry De Bromhead-trained COMO PARK could still be a step ahead of the handicapper off a mark of 123. A smart performer on the Flat, the five-year-old has steadily progressed since switching his attention to jumping. Having won over this distance at Bellewstown on his penultimate start, the son of Camelot looks a real thorough stayer. Walk Away Harry, who failed to land a gamble at the Punchestown Festival in May, should be all the better for his recent outing at Sligo. The Charles Byrnes-trained six-year-old will appreciate the better ground he encounters on this occasion. Top-weight Walking On Glass, a winner on the Flat last time, merits respect with Peter Smithers taking off a valuable 7lb.

BEAUFORT SCALE matched his previous form in spite of the drop in trip when third at Killarney last month, so he's an appealing candidate now stepping back up to 3m on handicap debut. Como Park and Mister Beeton head the opposition in a competitive affair..

Back to form when winning at Kilbeggan last time in first-time cheekpieces, CAMINO ROCK could follow up off a 7lb higher mark.

15:55 Redcar Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LIBERTY COACH hasn't looked back since being fitted with cheekpieces (retained) the last twice and, on the back of a facile victory over this trip at Doncaster most recently, the suspicion is that a 6lb penalty may not be enough to anchor him. Piecederesistance found only an in-form rival too good over 1m2f at Newmarket last month and he warrants the utmost respect, while Sambucus is surely capable of better than what she showed in a Ffos Las maiden latest.

LIBERTY COACH has been a different proposition since fitted with cheekpieces and a 6 lb penalty doesn't look enough to prevent him completing a hat-trick. Eeetee ran well here last week and may provide the main threat ahead of Secret World.

As he won with such authority at Doncaster there must be every chance that LIBERTY COACH (nap) will be up to defying a penalty here.

16:05 Goodwood Listed (Class 1) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Everything points to a big run from PASSION AND GLORY, who is the top-rated performer in this line-up and ran right up to his best when scoring over 1m4f at Ascot last time. The eight-year-old has also won here in the past and another bold bid looks assured. Botanical, a fine second at York when last sighted, is an interesting runner equipped with a first-time tongue-tie on his stable debut for George Boughey, while Novus may go well at longer odds.

BOTANICAL has a progressive profile on going softer than good and is selected to make a winning start for new trainer George Boughey. Juddmonte 3-y-o Macduff is interesting back from a break (gelded) with the Ralph Beckett team in flying form. Novus is very effective here and in the mud so is another likely to be in the thick of things.

Goodwood and testing conditions bring out the best in NOVUS (nap) and she is the selection ahead of Botanical.

16:13 Perth Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having returned to form with a solid third over track and trip earlier this month, dual C&D winner Prince Nino warrants consideration racing off an unchanged mark. Reopposing rival Pateen landed the spoils on that occasion and, although the veteran hasn't always proved the most consistent in the past, he cannot be dismissed off a 5lb higher rating. However, it could be worth taking a punt on Irish raider TURKEY AND HAM, who arrives on the back of creditable defeats at Uttoxeter and Kilbeggan, and this return to 2m4f may prove fruitful.

SUPERBOLT is a lightly-raced sort who showed some promise over hurdles in Ireland last winter and looks interesting now setting out for an in-form yard, especially if the betting speaks in his favour. Happy Index shaped encouragingly on her stable debut at Fontwell earlier in the month and is an obvious threat, with Turkey And Ham also of firm interest dropping back in trip having gone through the race like one ahead of her mark on her most recent outing at Kilbeggan.

Another chance is given to HAPPY INDEX, who could not justify strong market support on her recent stable debut but was a clear second.

16:20 Listowel Handicap Chase 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Galway Plate third ZANAHIYR can take the feature race of the Harvest Festival for trainer Gordon Elliott. Formerly a high-class hurdler, the seven-year-old has yet to reach those heights over fences but as a result he is rated 6lb lower in that discipline. Still lightly raced over the larger obstacles after only six starts, the Nathaniel gelding can land this valuable prize. Stablemate Duffle Coat kept on strongly to take the runner-up spot in that aforementioned Galway contest. Potentially a more thorough stayer, the grey shouldn't be far way under Danny Gilligan. Perceval Legallois, who was just touched off over flights at this meeting last year, also holds leading claims having improved since switching to chasing.

Gavin Cromwell looks to hold a strong hand in this year's Kerry National, with PERCEVAL LEGALLOIS taken to make up for his Galway Plate defeat and confirm the significant promise of his first 2 attempts in handicap chases. Stablemate Flooring Porter has obvious scope from a mark in the 140s on hurdle ability and should find this test much more suitable than the 17f he tackled in his previous handicap chase. Solitary Man and Gordon Elliott pair Zanahiyr and Chemical Energy are also shortlisted.

Gordon Elliott may have the solution with ZANAHIYR, third in the Galway Plate. He can reverse form with runner-up Duffle Coat

16:27 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Having got stuck behind a wall of horses and finishing a never-nearer second at Lingfield earlier this month, EIGHT MILE looks a winner in waiting. A 1lb nudge up the ratings looks negligible for George Scott's gelding and he can make the most of a plum draw in stall one. Fellow in-form rival Katie G looks worth another go over today's 7f distance and she's feared most, ahead of the downgraded Faster Bee.

EIGHT MILE will need to break better than he did last time to make use of stall 1 but in the hope he manages that, he looks weighted to strike. Help Me Rhonda should have more to offer for new connections so goes on the shortlist, along with Katie G.

James Fanshawe's recruit HELP ME RHONDA is taken to build on her encouraging Wolverhampton sixth to get off the mark.

16:32 Redcar Handicap (Class 4) 10f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Titainium was probably too keen for his own good when fading into fourth over this trip at Newcastle most recently, but he was in winning form over this C&D prior to that and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back here. That said, TRUE WISDOM edges preference. Charlie Johnston's charge bumped into a potentially useful handicapper when finishing a narrow second over C&D last week and, off an unchanged mark, she can gain some compensation here. The well-bred L'Ennemi hasn't cut much ice in two starts for this yard so far, but it is too early to write him off.

TRUE WISDOM was only narrowly denied here last week and might be able to go one better off the same mark. Fellow 3-y-os Glistening Nights and Titainium, a C&D winner last month, may give Charlie Johnston's charge most to think about.

Proven recent effectiveness on softer than good may yet come in handy for TITAINIUM. He's consequently preferred to True Wisdom.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A fiercely competitive event, but MISS NIGHTFALL shades the verdict for James Fanshawe and Oisin Murphy, who have both been amongst the winners of late. The Sands Of Mali filly has improved in each of her four starts to date and this step up in distance could potentially unlock another gear. Betty Clover comes out top on official figures and must enter calculations, while Love Talk is another to keep an eye on.

BETTY CLOVER has the best form at the weights and makes obvious appeal, while Miss Nightfall is worthy of respect., along with Love Talk.

This may go to BETTY CLOVER who has at least coped with soft going and brings compelling form credentials in a race of this nature.

16:45 Perth Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Although Ithaka has largely been out of form in eight outings since landing a gamble at Wincanton in March 2023, the eight-year-old is worth watching in the market on this long journey north. Regardless, LENEBANE has filled the runner-up spot on her last two appearances at Market Rasen and a 3lb higher rating may not be enough to prevent Rebecca Menzies' mare from going one better here. Inspector Lynley and One Step Up are other key contenders.

Reverted to hurdling, LIMERICK LEADER fared much better than on his stable debut when fourth at Worcester at the beginning of the month and he could be ready to take advantage of his reduced mark. He can get the better of the consistent Dalileo, while Inspector Lynley is also considered in his current form.

The suggestion is ONE STEP UP, who left his disappointing stable debut a long way behind when second over 2m here in June.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHECOULDBEANYTHING is the only horse in the field that hasn't won a chase, so receives a 7lb allowance from all of her rivals. She was more than useful over flights and did a lot right when runner-up on chasing debut at Galway. She was a wide-margin winner of a mares' hurdle at this track in June. A bad mistake three out did for Pink In The Park at Killarney as she trailed home fourth for Willie Mullins. Prior to that, she landed a beginners' chase in Galway and Paul Townend partners her over stablemate Nt Field Minnesota. Broomfield Bijou hacked up on chasing bow at Wexford, while Popova and the returning Sainte Dona shouldn't be ruled out.

SHECOULDBEANYTHING looks the pick at the weights and there's likely more to come, so she gets the nod ahead of Broomfield Bijou, who upped her game to score at Wexford a couple of months ago. Popova isn't out of it.

Course hurdles winner SHECOULDBEANYTHING was second to a smart type on her chasing debut and can exploit the 7lb concession

17:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SPECIAL GHAIYYATH built on his debut fourth at Newcastle when posting a fine second in a class 2 event at Windsor earlier this month. Charlie Johnston's charge had some useful yardsticks behind him that day and a similar performance on his Polytrack bow should suffice. Having scored on his opening bid at Chester last month, penalised winner Neardown is open to improvement. The New Bay colt may give the selection most to think about, ahead of Grecian Legacy.

SPECIAL GHAIYYATH improved when second to a promising type at Windsor last time and he's open to further progress, so he's fancied to open his account at the possible expense of Sea Founder, who hit the line well at Windsor recently. Debut winner Neardown warrants consideration for all that this looks tougher under a penalty.

17:05 Redcar Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MARIS ANGEL made every yard of the running over track and trip eight days ago and she is now two wins from two since stepping into the handicap ranks. Mark Walford's filly could have plenty more to offer and looks well placed to complete the hat-trick under a 6lb penalty. Soul Seeker returned to winning ways in this grade at Sandown last week and it would be no surprise to see him get involved under his 4lb penalty. Miss Brazen is another to note.

It's easy enough to see last-time-out winners MARIS ANGEL and Soul Seeker coming to the fore again with preference for the former given she's a 3-y-o on a sharp upward trajectory. Of the rest, Miss Brazen shaped quite nicely last time and is well weighted these days.

Rain would be an unknown for the fast-improving Maris Angel. SOUL SEEKER handles most ground and is tentatively preferred.

17:15 Goodwood Handicap (Class 3) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

COCO ROYALE struck in taking fashion over 2m at Kempton earlier in the month and she looks to a stayer to keep on the right side of. William Haggas' four-year-old is improving rapidly and it would be no surprise to see her make light work of a 7lb rise. Crystal Flyer accounted for Entrancement (second) over 1m4f here last month and she might have more scope for improvement, so is taken to at least confirm that form.

Low-mileage 4-y-o COCO ROYALE can boast a progressive profile, running out a decisive winner on the AW 3 weeks ago and on that evidence, her revised mark is within range. Crystal Flyer and Entrancement filled the first 2 spots in a 12f handicap here recently and are feared most.

The thriving 4yo COCO ROYALE is taken to make it four wins from her last five races. Entrancement is also at home on testing ground.

17:25 Listowel NH Flat Race 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ARTIC LANE is worth another chance after being a beaten favourite in fourth at Kilbeggan. That was his first run for almost nine months after a very solid runner-up berth in a Leopardstown bumper over Christmas. A stack of winners have come out of that Leopardstown race and he could be the next one. John McConnell's Mahler gelding Ira Hayes is certainly one to monitor in the market ahead of his debut. There was merit in Victor Sweet's third place on debut at Bellewstown, while Champagne Kid, Quint Major and Westernersunrise all have chances of a cheque.

ARTIC LANE probably needed the run back from 8 months off at Kilbeggan and can belatedly confirm the promise of his fine second at Leopardstown at Christmas. Ira Hayes is a player having won a point in Britain in April. Victor Sweet will be suited by this longer trip having finished third at Bellewstown 4 weeks ago and he has a shout.

Having been below form on return at Kilbeggan, ARTIC LANE can make up for that back on a track that can suit better.

17:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sunshine Soul has posted several creditable efforts in defeat to date and this return to 6f shouldn't prevent another prominent showing from the Mehmas filly. However, MAGICAL TRAIL was quite taking when making a winning debut at Newmarket last month and, with the second and third boosting the form with solid efforts since, she may have enough class to defy a penalty. Speaktotheguvnor and Chiringita both made encouraging opening bids and they are likely to feature as well.

MAGICAL TRAIL looked a useful prospect when scoring first time up at Newmarket and with that form working out (3 next-time-out winners in behind) she can make it 2-2 upped in trip before having her sights raised. Ralph Beckett has a very strong team of 2-y-os and his newcomer Jettie's Run is of firm interest. There is surely a race in Sunshine Soul, while Chiringita, behind the selection on debut, looks set to improve.

The form of MAGICAL TRAIL's debut win has worked out well and she can defy her penalty at the main expense of Speaktotheguvnor.

17:40 Redcar Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Count Palatine came from a long way back to swoop late when beating Kode Secret (second) by over two lengths at Thirsk on his latest outing and he should mount a serious challenge under his penalty. However, he could come out second best to KODEBREAKER, who finished four and a quarter lengths clear of the third when a neck second over a mile here last time and he competes off the same rating today. With the booking of Silvestre De Sousa further aiding his cause, he gets the nod.

KODEBREAKER returned to his best when runner-up at this course 8 days ago, bumping into one who was completing a hat-trick, so he is taken to record a third win of the season. Heading the list of dangers is stablemate Ratafia, who also bounced back to form when winning at Yarmouth last time, with Kode Secret another who could be in the mix.

Michael Herrington's C&D winners Kodebreaker and RATAFIA appeal most with preference for the latter after his stylish Yarmouth win.

17:50 Goodwood Handicap (Class 4) 9f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Mostawaa justified favouritism in commanding fashion at Epsom on his latest outing and he holds an obvious chance off a 5lb higher mark. However, a chance is taken on ZEALOT, who had Alpha Crucis (fourth) three lengths behind when making the frame over 1m2f here last month. Michael Appleby's six-year-old remains on the same mark and can return to winning ways. Double Time is another to note.

ALPHA CRUCIS won here around this time last year and with Ryan Moore on board for the first time, Gary & Josh Moore's 4-y-o is fancied to bring up career success number 3 at the expense of Zealot, who is winless in 2024 but arrives in very good order. Mostawaa, who landed a gamble at Epsom earlier this month, rounds off the shortlist.

Zealot ran a stormer here on a rare turf run last time but ALPHA CRUCIS can turn the tables on his second run back from a break.

18:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A disappointment on soft ground at Leicester last time, ORCHID is better judged on her debut run when a promising second over 7f here in August. William Buick taking over in the saddle is a big plus and she gets the vote ahead of the class-dropping Angelica Bay and Montrachet Girl, who has strong claims on her penultimate runner-up effort at Newbury.

The weaker of the 2 divisions and ORCHID is worth another chance despite fluffing her lines at Leicester. She'd shaped well here on debut and hopefully her subsequent display was just down to inexperience. Montrachet Girl and Angelica Bay are feared, while Nuptown Girl isn't over-faced first time up.

Question marks over most of these. A hood could help MONTRACHET GIRL settle better and her penultimate run brings her right into it.

18:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The Richard Hughes stable can do little wrong at present and this looks like an ideal opportunity for HUNTERS RUN to follow up under a 6lb rise after a taking success at Lingfield recently over slightly shorter. A relatively consistent sort throughout most of this season and a strong-finishing second at Wolverhampton last time, Beach Point is a key player, along with Old Saxony, who remains unexposed after just six career outings.

HUNTERS RUN opened his account in good style at Lingfield, and with even more to come as his stamina is drawn out he's taken to follow up. Beach Point has claims if backing up his latest Wolverhampton run, while Old Saxony's mark has slipped further and he could yet make his presence felt in a handicap like this.

Old Saxony is likely to come good soon but this can go to HUNTERS RUN (nap), who created such a positive impression at Lingfield.

19:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A highly progressive sort two years ago, THE WHIPMASTER seems to be finding his way again after wind surgery and his most recent effort at Windsor when not beaten far into third was highly encouraging. The six-year-old has dropped to a mark 6lb lower than his latest success and he gets the vote ahead of both Sonnerie Power (second) and Roost (third), who had less than a length separating them over further here last time. Graignes and Way Of Life are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

SONNERIE POWER has been knocking on the door lately and shaped well from a poor position here last time, so he's worth a chance to gain a deserved success at the possible expense of The Whipmaster. Roost is one to have in mind tried in a visor for the first time.

This may go to THE WHIPMASTER who has returned from wind surgery with two near misses and he should get a nice tow into this race.

19:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

NORTH VIEW scored more comfortably than the three quarters of a length distance may suggest over 7f at Newbury last month and he appears capable of following up. Peter Chapple-Hyam's charge has been raised 4lb in the ratings for that success, which may not halt his progression. Fellow last-time-out winner Revolutionise returned to form when scoring over 7f at Brighton earlier this month and he can be seen to better effect still back on the all-weather, while Mezzo Soprano is also worth a second look.

REVOLUTIONISE capitalised on his lower turf mark at Brighton last time and he's fairly treated back on this surface, so he's marginally preferred to Mezzo Soprano, with North View also considered despite stall 12.

This might not set up quite so well for NORTH VIEW as Newbury did last month but he's surely well ahead of his mark still.

20:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

An open contest sees a chance taken on BINT HAVANA GOLD, who caught the eye when running on late to finish third over 6f at Lingfield in July. Having been dropped 1lb in the ratings for that just more than two lengths defeat, Richard Hughes' filly can offer a bold bid. Nelson Rose is feared most after a game success over 6f at Brighton earlier this month and this 1lb rise doesn't appear out of her reach, while Crafty Spirit should also be on the scene.

BINT HAVANA GOLD is on a handy mark, shaped well last time, and has scored over C&D in the past, so she's the one to side with in this tricky contest. Nelson Rose is going the right way and deserves respect, while Moe's Legacy has been holding it together quite well of late.

Competitive for the grade but THE REAL MCKAY didn't get chance to show what she could do at Newcastle last time and can bounce back.

20:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The hat-trick seeking Doublethetrouble arrives here in good form but a 2lb hike may leave him susceptible to some better treated rivals, such as ANISOPTERA. Brett Johnson's runner arrives here 3lb below her last winning mark, which came over C&D last April. The seven-years-old's third over 2m at Lingfield last time was a step in the right direction and it wouldn't take much more improvement to claim this prize. Tailorman heads the remainder.

The way TAILORMAN went through the race at Chester on Saturday confirms he's in top form and on that basis, he really should be at home on the AW. He's therefore marginally preferred to hat-trick seeker Doublethetrouble and Anisoptera.

The in-form TAILORMAN should be on the premises if as effective on the AW and his only previous run on this surface was in a novice.
