14:15 Catterick Maiden (Class 5) 5f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The relatively experienced Nala Star was last seen finishing fourth over 5f at Lingfield last month and, provided the application of cheekpieces has the desired effect, she should be competitive once more. That said, BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU edges preference. Ben Haslam's charge pulled clear of the third when finishing runner-up to a potentially useful sort over 5f at Hamilton latest and, with the promise of more to come, she may prove tough to stop. Of the newcomers, Desert Eye appeals most.

NALA STAR may have found her Lingfield race coming too soon a week on from a good effort at Bath and given a break and fitted with headgear, she is given the tentative nod. Beaujolais Nouveau and Montana Girl look the main threats.

The vote goes to BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU, who was a clear second behind an odds-on rival at Hamilton last time.

14:30 Musselburgh Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LOVELY SPIRIT posted her best effort to date when runner-up at Ripon earlier this month. A similar performance may be enough to see Richard Fahey's filly shed her maiden tag at the fourth time of asking and she edges the vote over Lightning Galaxy. The son of Lightning Spear offered plenty to work with on his debut second over 6f at Hamilton 15 days ago and today's 7f distance is likely to suit. Any market support for Antonin Dvorak first time out should be noted.

LIGHTNING GALAXY was really getting the hang of things when a promising second starting out at Hamilton a fortnight ago and with 7f sure to suit, he makes plenty of appeal. Lovely Spirit is the chief threat on form but she's had 3 attempts, so Antonin Dvorak is feared most on debut.

Lovely Spirit is top on form but LIGHTNING GALAXY has had only the one attempt and showed plenty. Antonin Dvorak needs a check.

14:45 Catterick Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This could be a straightforward task for FLIGHT RADAR, who was last seen running out a ready winner over 7f at Redcar last month and should be tough to stop with a reproduction of that effort. This step back to 7f can help Man Of A'An be seen to better effect and he is fancied to complete the forecast, while the unexposed Zousca is also respected, though handicaps may await for her.

Not only have connections of FLIGHT RADAR picked up a bargain at just £1,000 but they have also found a gilt-edged opening for him to supplement his Redcar win. Man of A'an will probably win the battle for second out of handicap company.

Karl Burke could not have found a weaker race for his Redcar winner FLIGHT RADAR to carry a penalty.

15:00 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A ease into class 6 company sparked an improved performance from REX CARVER when headed in the shadows of the post over 6f at Catterick nine days ago. The Expert Eye gelding makes plenty of appeal racing off an unchanged mark and, dropping in distance, compensation could be on the cards. Solar Biricz arrives on the back of a solid third at Beverley and he's feared most off a 1lb lower rating, ahead of nursery debutant Misdreavous.

Not a strong nursery so it affords an excellent opportunity for REX CARVER to go one place better than at Catterick last week. Solar Biricz and Misdreavous head the opposition.

The bold show he produced up front at Catterick last time puts REX CARVER top of the list. He is dropped from 6f.

15:15 Catterick Stakes (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ALICE'S IMPACT (second) got the better of Elettaria (third) when the pair met over an extended 7f at Beverley recently and, off an unchanged mark, the former gets the vote to confirm her superiority over that rival en route to victory this time around. Rain Cap can be forgiven his recent low key effort over C&D after stumbling when leaving the stalls and he merits respect off a tumbling mark.

RAIN CAP stumbled early when below form last time but he has an excellent course record overall and, with the headgear changed again, he's worth chancing. Alice's Impact is going the right way and looks the main threat, while Elettaria can make her presence felt if they go hard up front.

Most of these find winning hard. ALICE'S IMPACT has been admirably consistent since handicapping and makes the most appeal.

15:35 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A switch to more aggressive tactics saw EVELYN'S PHOENIX make all at Ripon earlier this month. A similar approach may see Tim Easterby's inmate following up, with a 5lb higher rating looking far from insurmountable. More Than A Feelin has filled the runner-up spot at Windsor and Kempton since her breakthrough victory at Wolverhampton in July and another good account is forecast from the daughter of Sea The Stars. Miners Gamble also enters the reckoning now upped in distance.

MINERS GAMBLE caught the eye from an unpromising track position when fourth at Southwell a month ago and that performance suggests he has it in him to win from this mark. Evelyn's Phoenix made all at Ripon last time so he commands respect, along with More Than A Feelin.

The most solid options appear to be EVELYN'S PHOENIX (nap) ahead of More Than A Feelin.

15:50 Catterick Stakes (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

John Kirkup reaches the milestone of his 100th career start and appeals for a place at least based on his resurgent recent form. However, this trip does appear to stretch him to the limit and it would come as no surprise to see previous C&D winner VARIETY ISLAND spoil the party, with the forecast ground conditions set to be ideal. Desert Dream has a similar profile and is another suggestion for the shortlist, while Golden Gal is weighted to go well if her stamina holds out.

DOOMSDAY arrives in form and could be perked up by the first-time blinkers, so he's preferred to John Kirkup and Desert Dream in an open-looking contest.

Most of these have something to prove but JOHN KIRKUP is in good form and he gets the vote on this step back up in trip.

16:05 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having scored in comfortable fashion over 1m6f at Musselburgh, RORY THE CAT looks primed to take this step up in class in his stride. Lucinda Russell's charge justified market support when pulling clear on that occasion, and a 3lb rise in the ratings doesn't appear out of his reach. Simple Star is feared most after only narrowly missing in a blanket finish over the extended 1m4f at this venue earlier this month and this extra yardage appears likely to suit, while Pons Aelius should also be on the scene.

SIMPLE STAR was just edged out when third here last time but remains on a handy mark so is fancied to resume winning ways at the chief expense of Beverley scorer Pons Aelius. Rory The Cat must also enter calculations on the back of his recent course success.

Having won his first Musselburgh Flat race last time out, following two wins over hurdles here last winter, RORY THE CAT gets the vote.

16:15 Bellewstown Claiming Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DOLLAR VALUE put up a remarkable performance after losing a lot of ground at the start in a similar event at Sligo earlier this month. The Tom McCourt-trained gelding likes to force the pace but didn't get to the front until two out before forging clear to beat Boom Boom Boom by all of 16 lengths. The selection probably ran to a similar level when runner-up to favourite Mordor three days later at Downpatrick. Boom Boom Boom previously won at Ballinrobe and riding arrangements suggest he's preferred to I Am Spider Man, while others to consider include Routine Excellence and Wild Shot.

Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and BOOM BOOM BOOM, favoured by these weights, gets the nod at the chief expense of Brianna Lily who wasn't seen to best effect when seventh at Wexford last time. Downpatrick runner-up Dollar Value can also have a say.

In fine form in claiming hurdles over the summer, DOLLAR VALUE can score again after a good run in a Downpatrick rated hurdle last time

16:25 Catterick Handicap (Class 6) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The in-form Jamih will likely be a popular choice as he bids to complete a quickfire hat-trick after wins over 1m4f both here and at Thirsk over the last three weeks. However, he was a well-held fifth in this race last year and again looks vulnerable over this trip. With that in mind, the much less exposed LADY PHOEBE looks worth chancing on the basis of having more to offer on just her fifth start in a handicap. Can Can Girl and Twoforthegutter complete the shortlist.

AMBASSADOR has been in good order over hurdles and looks nicely handicapped back in this sphere, so a chance is taken on him. Jamih and Twoforthegutter fought out the finish over 1m4f here three weeks ago and that pair are likely to be involved once again.

An open race in which the vote goes to 3yo LADY PHOEBE, who went very close at Hamilton and is open to more progress at this new trip.

16:35 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

VINCE LE PRINCE was well in command at the line over 7f at Carlisle nine days ago and he can follow up that success today. Tim Easterby's charge will have to defy a 5lb penalty for that three-and-a-half-length victory but that could prove lenient. Fellow last-time-out winner Ramon Di Loria can pose the most significant questions to the selection after shaping as if this extra yardage would suit when winning over 6f at Ayr, while Medici Pass is also considered.

SHOWTIME MAHOMES has slipped in the weights and didn't enjoy the rub of the green when eleventh at Ripon last time so this C&D winner looks the way to go. Recent Catterick scorer Vince Le Prince is feared most under a 5 lb penalty ahead of Carlton And Co, Code Purple and Braes Of Doune.

Braes Of Doune won here yesterday but if he is absent from this race, MONHAMMER would get the vote ahead of Showtime Mahomes.

16:40 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SHE HAS NOTIONS accounted for his nearest rival by over two lengths in this grade over C&D last month and the handicapper may have been kind to only put him up 5lb for that triumph. Martin Keighley's seven-year-old looks to have lots in his favour and will prove tough to beat. Lost Connections has finished fourth on each of her last two starts over track and trip and she could get closer off the same mark. Stratford winner Invincible Wish is another to keep an eye on.

LOST CONNECTIONS is a pretty consistent operator at this sort of level, something that cannot be said for most of these, so she rates the percentage call. Harrys Hope is a potential improver switched to fences following a break, with last month's C&D scorer She Has Notions another to consider.

A tricky opener so it's probably best to side with the two last-time-out winners SHE HAS NOTIONS (nap) and Invincible Wish.

16:45 Bellewstown Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ARCTIC GALE was just denied by a nose over 2m7f at Ballinrobe last time and can gain compensation. The bumper winner also filled the runner-up spot on his previous start behind Lightkeeper at the Galway Festival and that race has thrown up a couple of maiden winners since. Gavin Cromwell is doubly represented by point-to-point winner Millforce and Pampar Lady, who has been placed a number of times in maiden hurdles and steps up in trip receiving all the allowances. On Lovers Walk won twice in point-to-points and now joins Ross O'Sullivan after finishing second four times over hurdles.

MILLFORCE opened his account in good style between the flags when last seen in May and the 5-y-o is taken to make a successful start to his Rules career. He may have most to fear from Arctic Gale, who has found just one too good on each of his last two starts. That said, On Lovers Walk will also be a threat if he puts his best foot forward on debut for new connections.

Narrowly beaten after getting a bump at Ballinrobe, ARCTIC GALE is worth another chance based on his previous Galway second

16:55 Catterick Handicap (Class 4) 5f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Glory Fighter, Spring Is Sprung and Night On Earth are all capable of setting warm fractions and this is likely to be fast and furious as a result. However, a strong tempo could set things up nicely for three-time C&D winner ALBEGONE, who is a highly appealing option running off a mark 2lb below the last of those successes. Ready Freddie Go also adds some spice on the back of his Thirsk triumph and can figure if the blinkers have the same impact second time around.

READY FREDDIE GO reacted well to blinkers when opening his account for the season at Thirsk last time and he's worth a chance to follow up for all that Spring Is Sprung looks a formidable threat. Albegone is well treated if he can get back on track returned to a course where he boasts a good record.

This could set up for a closer and the vote goes to ALBEGONE, who is now 2lb lower than for his smooth win over C&D in May.

17:05 Musselburgh Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The consistent ETERNAL SUNSHINE was only just touched off over 6f at Ayr when bidding for a four-timer earlier this month and this represents a good opportunity to return to winning ways. Jim Goldie's four-years-old was only beaten a neck on that occasion and a repeat of that effort could make her difficult to beat. Sugar Hill Babe was only denied by a head when second over 5f at Yarmouth last time and she is feared most, while Protest Rally is another to consider.

Lisa Williamson's SUGAR HILL BABE lost out by just a head at Yarmouth last time and can go one better here off the same mark. Eternal Sunshine is feared most in her bid for a fourth victory of 2024 with in-form duo Protest Rally and Street Life also in the mix.

With Eternal Sunshine back from 6f, PROTEST RALLY may prove the best option today, ahead of Sugar Hill Babe and Parisiac.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

KINONDO KWETU had Hang In There (third) behind when scoring by half a length over 3m2f at Uttoxeter last month and, with this drop back in trip unlikely to pose any problems, Sam England's charge can record the double. As for the latter, he could take closer order if he settles better this time around. Vintage Fizz is also worth a second look after his sixth in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen.

Probably best to focus on the trio in the handicap proper and PULL AGAIN GREEN could be worth chancing now returned to the larger obstacles. Kinondo Kwetu resumed winning ways at Uttoxeter with the re-opposing Hang In There back in third and while the latter may well finish closer this time, Sam England's charge is feared most.

Kinondo Kwetu is respected having beaten HANG IN THERE at Uttoxeter last month but the selection had a plausible excuse there.

17:18 Bellewstown Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

INFORAPENNY has gained both previous wins over this C&D including last time when prominent throughout and rallying well from the last to beat Hypersonic Missile. That was reward for some consistent efforts this year and he remains on a competitive mark. High Honour returned to form on soft ground at Sligo last week with Rockview Roman back in fourth and any rain will boost his claims while Seasett, Harley Street and Hidalgo Des Mottes are others to consider. Shana Cloon has been a frustrating sort to follow and again looked booked for minor honours last time when falling at the last at Wexford.

Gavin Cromwell might land a fourth successive win in this contest courtesy of SHANA CLOON, who was a model of consistency last season. St Denis's Well is well treated judged on his chase exploits and is second choice ahead of Shark Hanlon's Seasett and last week's Sligo scorer High Honour.

The selection though is INFORAPENNY(nap), who has done all of his winning over this C&D and should go close

17:30 Catterick Handicap (Class 6) 6f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PROFITEER has produced two solid efforts to hit the crossbar in this grade the last twice and is only 2lb higher than for the latest of those displays at Thirsk. The son of Profitable has proven to be a consistent performer this year and he gets the nod. Gis A Sub was far from disgraced in third at Nottingham eight days ago and should remain competitive off the same mark, while Howzak is another to note after his third at Chepstow.

PROFITEER went down only to an improving 3-y-o at Thirsk last time and might prove the answer to the first division of this 6f handicap. Paul Midgley's Gis A Sub is feared most ahead of Eldeyaar, who arrives in form from AW and was successful over C&D just under a year ago.

Top of the list is the 3yo PROFITEER (nap), who has form figures of 3312522 in handicaps and is still unexposed at this trip.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

QUEEN OF THE VALE made a highly encouraging bumper debut when scoring by two lengths over C&D last month and she could take a big step forward from that triumph. Jamie Snowden's four-year-old looks well placed to carry her penalty to success. Versace Twentyone is a fascinating contender on her first start for the Sheila Lewis stable after making a victorious debut under Rules at Roscommon last month and it will be interesting to see how she fares in the betting market, while Heather Honey can improve from her debut fourth in January.

QUEEN OF THE VALE made all in good style on debut here 2 months ago, showing an encouraging amount of speed for one bred to be suited by further, and she can defy a penalty. Versace Twentyone is a big player for a new yard, while Crazy About Her is a newcomer to note.

The two previous winners look the safest options and QUEEN OF THE VALE showed a good attitude here two months ago.

17:48 Bellewstown Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SEA MUSIC won a Kilbeggan beginners chase over this trip in June and travelled well approaching the straight before finding Talk Of The Town too good in a 2m6f handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival. He should be suited by this drop back in trip and may now have most to fear from Mount Sinai, who won a 2m4f Clonmel maiden hurdle on testing ground last autumn and should benefit from her reappearance when staying on well over an inadequate trip at Galway. Ta Na La won a maiden in good style over C&D last month, while bumper winner Crooked Tannie has been placed a number of times in maiden hurdles and is certainly of interest on his handicap debut.

MOUNT SINAI made a promising return when sixth at Galway last month and is fancied to take a sizeable step forward here. That's About Right heads the list of dangers on the back of his Wexford victory, although a solid case can also be made for Ta Na La, Sea Music and Crooked Tannie.

The selection is MOUNT SINAI, given a fair bit to do at Galway last time but likes this trip and looks well capable off this mark

18:00 Catterick Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

RAINBOW RAIN attempted to make every yard of the running but was denied by just under a length into second over track and trip last time. Tracy Waggott's five-year-old competes off the same rating and he could be the one to beat. Malham Tarn Cove made the frame at this level at Bath last month and he should go well off an unchanged mark, while Obligatory is another to consider as he steps back into handicap company.

RAINBOW RAIN is more consistent than the majority at this level and can deservedly get his head back in front. Highjacked has a win and second to his name over C&D this year and may give Tracy Waggott's charge most to do ahead of Malham Tarn Cove.

Preference is for MALHAM TARN COVE, who was as good as ever with his strong-finishing third over a shorter trip at Bath last time.

18:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Masubi is bred to stay well on the dam's side of his pedigree, being a three-parts brother to a Group 3 winner over 1m7f, and Charlie Appleby's colt is likely to enter calculations on debut. However, the experience gained by DUNAMASE when third on his first start at Sandown could prove to be the deciding factor. The son of Kingman kept on well in the closing stages and is expected to build on that display. Prince Of The Seas heads the remainder.

MASUBI ticks plenty of the right boxes on paper and it will be an ominous sign for his rivals if the market speaks in his favour. The Too Darn Hot colt will need to be pretty decent, though, as Dunamase has already shown plenty of ability, while there are other likely-looking newcomers on show, too, namely (in racecard order) Flamenco Bay, Prince of The Seas and Urban Glimpse.

The one who makes most appeal is DUNAMASE who looks very likely to improve on his promising Sandown debut third.

18:10 Worcester Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LETTERSTON LILY lost little in defeat when finding only subsequent Irish Listed scorer Gale Mahler too strong at Market Rasen last month and compensation could be imminent. Although Al Gasparo finished in fifth behind that winner at Galway, he could be dangerous if gaining an easy lead. Gavin Cromwell's charge is unlikely here to just make up the numbers and he's feared most, ahead of fellow penalised winners Ebony Warrior and Full Monty.

Gavin Cromwell Irish raider AL GASPARO gets a narrow vote ahead Letterston Lily, who bumped into the useful Gale Mahler at Market Rasen last time. Last month's 2m course scorer Ebony Warrior may prove best of the remainder.

Al Gasparo isn't passed over lightly but preference is for LETTERSTON LILY who chased home a subsequent Listed winner last time.

18:18 Bellewstown Conditions Hurdle 17f  Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

With stable jockey Paul Townend in the saddle, the Willie Mullins-trained FOUR CLEAN ACES can follow up her recent win at Kilbeggan. A dual bumper winner, the six-year-old took five attempts to open her account over flights. However, given the manner of her victory at the County Westmeath track, it would be no surprise to see the mare make up for lost time in the coming weeks. Crack The Sky, also trained by Mullins, couldn't have done it any easier when shedding her maiden tag at Kilbeggan earlier this month. While jockey bookings suggest that she is the stable second string, there may not be much between the pair. Ballinrobe winner Royal Hollow is another that should be capable of getting involved.

Presumably Paul Townend was given the choice between CRACK THE SKY and Four Clean Aces, so the fact that he's aboard the latter may well be significant. However, Crack The Sky is nevertheless preferred on the back of a pretty impressive reappearance success at Kilbeggan where she appeared to benefit from being ridden with more restraint compared to her first two starts in this sphere. Royal Hollow is third choice ahead of Amanha and Disco Dancer.

Paul Townend rode FOUR CLEAN ACES and Crack The Sky to victory on the same Kilbeggan card so his choice is a significant pointer

18:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MAKES SENSE has shown a fair amount of promise on both starts to date at Salisbury, finishing runner-up on each occasion, and the return to 7f is likely to see him shed the maiden tag. Upscale has the ability to be competitive but consistency hasn't been her strongest point and a relatively quick turnaround might be a concern. With that in mind, Saigon Dream could step forward from his first run at Brighton and emerge as the main threat.

UPSCALE found just one too good for the third time from five career starts at Salisbury last time and this well-bred filly is presented with a golden opportunity to deservedly get her head in front. Next on the list is Makes Sense but newcomer Dooley and Boss Dog also make some appeal.

Form pick UPSCALE is taken, albeit somewhat tentatively, to open her account at the sixth attempt. Makes Sense is second choice.

18:40 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Although it was too early to tell how competitive KITESURFER would have been when falling at the ninth hurdle at Uttoxeter last month, he likely has more to come over staying distances judged on his penultimate 3m2f victory at Fontwell. Jamie Snowden's gelding is fancied to go close if over that mishap and he edges the verdict ahead of Hillsin. The six-year-old finished second in the same race as the selection's fall and another prominent showing is forecast. Last-time-out C&D winners Red Hugh and Kiss My Face are also noted.

KISS MY FACE had them so well strung out over C&D last month that even a 10 lb rise is potentially lenient. The thriving Hillsin, last month's C&D maiden winner Red Hugh and Dan Skelton's Mahler Moon head the many possible dangers in a competitive race.

An open race. MAHLER MOON has had a break since his latest below-par run and he had previously improved for going up in distance.

18:48 Bellewstown Handicap Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Given the ease with which he won on the flat at Killarney last month, it is difficult to ignore the claims of CHUTZPAL back over hurdles. Having had just the four starts over flights for previous connections, the five-year-old looks seriously well handicapped off just 95 in this bottom grade. Getaway Henry won at Wexford last month, before finishing third off a revised mark at that same venue last time. Daniel O'Leary's seven-year-old will need to take another step forward here but as an in-form gelding he has to be respected. Bella Be Good improved on previous efforts when runner-up at Wexford on her most recent outing. Although she needs to back up that performance, the Edward Cawley-trained mare has to be considered.

A big field but it's hard to get away from CHUTZPAL, who made his second start for his leading yard a winning one on the level last month and this mark looks well within range back hurdling. Sydney Cruiser, Getaway Henry and Bella Be Good are a trio of potential threats.

The manner of his Flat win at Killarney implies that CHUTZPAL has an excellent chance on his first hurdles run for this stable

19:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

COGNISANCE made the perfect start to her career at Redcar, despite showing signs of inexperience in the closing stages. A well-related daughter of Sea The Stars, she is in the right hands to step forward from that initial performance in a contest lacking depth on paper. Leadman has filled the runner-up spot on all four outings so far and is expected to play a similar role once again, while Port Road and Calanthe appear best of the remainder.

COGNISANCE looked above average when readily accounting for six rivals in a Redcar novice at the end of last month and, with the promise of better to come from this Sea The Stars filly, she is taken to see off Leadman and likely-looking newcomer Beshert.

Leadman holds leading form claims but is proving very expensive to follow. The strongest alternative is COGNISANCE.

19:10 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Both of JUMEIRAH KING's victories over timber have come over C&D and the four-year-old makes plenty of appeal on his second attempt in handicap company. Anthony Honeyball's gelding is capable of further improvement and gets the vote at the main expense of Donnie Azoff, who finished second at Uttoxeter last time when switched back to hurdles. Others for the shortlist include Grivetana and Sea Prince.

A few with chances but JUMEIRAH KING remains on a lenient mark on the back of his C&D novice success so gets the vote. Grivetana continues in good form for Harry Derham and heads the list of dangers, while in-form duo Pisgah Pike and Playtogetaway also need factoring in. Jack The Savage completes the shortlist.

Jumeirah King is getting it together over hurdles but PISGAH PIKE is respected after a fair effort in better company last time.

19:18 Bellewstown Handicap Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The Shark Hanlon-trained GRIZABELLA is probably still well enough handicapped over flights to add another win here. Successful at Wexford in July, the mare returned to that same track last time, where she finished a respectable fourth of 13. Given a rating of 56 on the Flat, one would imagine that she still has some scope for improvement off her current hurdles mark. Malbas ran a big race when runner-up at Down Royal over Christmas but has been absent since. With the winner franking that form subsequently, the John McConnell-trained top-weight should be capable of getting involved if ready after an absence. Former point-to-point winner Due Course is almost certainly capable of better than he has shown under Rules to date.

BUTTONED UP failed to improve for the switch to handicaps last time but things didn't go right and she was spared a hard race, so she's worth another chance to up her game. Malbas is an obvious player if tuned up for his reappearance and Due Course isn't one to give up on.

John McConnell has saddled a few winners in recent weeks and that augurs well for MALBAS on his first outing since last Christmas

19:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 12f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CARPATHIAN must hold every chance on the back of a career-best effort when second over a furlong shorter here recently. The way she finished her race on that occasion suggested that stepping up in trip could be a good move, and she can get off the mark at the main expense of handicap debutant Ghost Story, who was in control late when scoring at Nottingham last month. Making her first start for new connections after a creditable effort at Haydock in July, Clear Storm should be monitored for market support.

There should be better to come from TUNEFUL, who was doing her best work at the finish when runner-up over 9.5f at Wolverhampton last time. She is taken to go one better this time, with Carpathian likely to emerge as the main danger ahead of Clear Storm.

Having finished a good second in a similar event here last time, CARPATHIAN could well go one better. Birkin is feared most.

19:40 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Pop The Champagne has run with credit on both attempts over hurdles this summer and the eight-year-old is likely to benefit from stepping up in trip. Manorbank remains open to improvement, but the vote goes to MY CHIQUITA. Runner-up at Aintree in May, a 2lb rise is unlikely to stop her from gaining a third career success in this sphere.

MY CHIQUITA made a highly encouraging start over hurdles last term and is fancied to resume in style in this sphere after a good stint on the Flat this summer. Manorbank could emerge as the main danger after his mishap at Warwick last time, although Thahab Ifraj, Pop The Champagne and Finisk River also need considering in this open handicap.

It might pay to risk HARDY FELLA who will be glad to see the back of fences and there's nothing wrong with his hurdle mark.

19:48 Bellewstown NH Flat Race 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Runner-up at Tramore on her racecourse debut earlier this month, ALASKAN VIEW can make the most of this opportunity. The Willie Martin-trained four-year-old is entitled to be all the better for that initial experience, while in Phidelma Elvin she has one of the stronger riders in this race. Monroes Hollow shaped with plenty of promise when fifth at the Galway Festival first time up. Time may well show that to have been a fair contest, so with that in mind the Peter Fahey-trained gelding has to be of interest. Jody Townend looks a rather significant booking for the Michael Grassick-trained Albert Hirsch. Mid division on both runs to date, the son of Beat Hollow might be capable of better given the benefit of those races.

ALASKAN VIEW outran big odds when a promising second at Tramore on debut and she's capable of better, so she's preferred to Monroes Hollow, who also arrives on the back of a positive start. Diamond Tipp is another one to consider.

Preference is for DIAMOND TIPP, second in a Tramore bumper when not getting the run of the race. She can take the beating

20:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

INTO BATTLE may not have progressed as hoped since a determined success at Epsom in April, but he has run in good company and this represents a significant drop in grade for the son of Churchill. The form of his stable is another plus and he gets the vote ahead of unexposed handicap debutant Baraq and South Pole, who has undergone a gelding operation since a respectable effort on his debut for new connections at Salisbury in June.

BARAQ has come up against some decent types in a Newcastle novice and Southwell maiden since returning to action at the end of June, and he looks sure to benefit greatly from this stiffer test now pitched into a handicap off what could turn out to be a very fair mark. It's probably best not to read too much into New Chelsea's low-key display at Goodwood and he is second choice ahead of the filly True Wisdom.

A chance is taken on TRUE WISDOM, who has lacked consistency but is interesting back over this C&D. Into Battle is second choice.

The William Haggas yard can do little wrong at present and FELICITY looks the one to beat again after getting off the mark in determined fashion at Lingfield last month. A 4lb rise for that success could prove lenient, and she gets the vote ahead of Windsor second War Bride and Dark Dreamer, who has strong claims the form of his success at Nottingham two starts ago.

WAR BRIDE should be able to get a handy position from the inside stall and might prove the answer to a tricky 3-y-o sprint. The WIlliam Haggas-trained Felicity should have more to offer on the back of her Lingfield success and is second choice ahead of Apeeling for Oisin Murphy.

Off a very attractive mark back over this C&D, the stage looks set for NEMOV (nap) to open his account. Felicity is feared most.

21:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for FOREST HILLS after a comfortable success over 1m2f at Salisbury recently, he may improve again for going back up in trip as he looks to overcome a 3lb rise. Emerald City has been getting closer to breaking the maiden in recent starts and this looks a decent opportunity for the son of Dream Ahead, while Inappropriate is another consistent individual to note.

INAPPROPRIATE has been knocking on the door and can deservedly get his head in front now stepping up to 1½m. Forest Hills reacted well to blinkers at Salisbury and a 3 lb rise is unlikely to prevent another prominent showing if in similar form. Emerald City is next on the list.

James Fanshawe's consistent EMERALD CITY deserves a break and it might come over this longer trip, as his dam won over hurdles.
