0.4/1(+40%) | (1) Campaign Trail 0.4/1, Strong in the betting both handicap starts and much-improved form when runner-up to a Sir Mark Prescott inmate on each occasion. This looks to be a good chance for him to open his account back in maiden company. Good second in a couple of handicaps this term; leading contender on form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

2.25/1(-13%) | (2) Palio 2.25/1, Sent off a big price and shaped very well when fifth of 11 in novice event at Salisbury in May. Cemented positive start when second at Ripon and he remains open to progress. Kept on for second at Ripon last time; open to further improvement. |

1st (1) (1.1/1 +33%) Bazball |
1.1/1(+33%) | (1) Bazball 1.1/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Very good second of 14 in nursery at Catterick (5f, good to firm, 9/2) 7 days ago, running on. Has to be taken seriously. Close second of 14 in nursery at Catterick (5f, good) last Wednesday off today's mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (5.5/1 +21%) Macarone |
5.5/1(+21%) | (3) Macarone 5.5/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Ninth of 12 in maiden at Beverley (5f, good, 28/1) 11 days ago, weakening final 1f. Does at least now get a crack at handicaps but progress required to figure. Easily best form on second outing; unseated rider on the way to the start before latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (20/1 -122%) Manali |
20/1(-122%) | (5) Manali 20/1, Showed more than on debut when fifth in 10-runner Lingfield novice (5f) in June but looked a hard ride and took a backward step when last of 5 in a Goodwood maiden (5f) thereafter last month. Still, this more suitable and another to note if the market speaks in her favour. Hung badly right throughout at Goodwood on latest start, which is a big concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (16/1 +11%) Lyndsanda |
16/1(+11%) | (6) Lyndsanda 16/1, Showed speed before weakening out of things on debut at Redcar and well held both starts at 5f since, latterly when last of 10 in a Catterick maiden in May. Cheekpieces on for nursery debut but yard look to hold stronger claims with Bazball. Best form on good to soft on second start; needs better and now sports headgear. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (12/1 +25%) Eyeros |
12/1(+25%) | (7) Eyeros 12/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 28/1, third of 5 in seller at Goodwood (5f, good to firm) 38 days ago. Cheekpieces on for 1st time. 3.33/1(-33%) | (2) Vidi Vici 3.33/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Best effort to date when second of 5 in seller (7/2) at Goodwood (5f, good to firm) 38 days ago, no match for winner. Firmly in the mix on nursery bow. Second of five in a 5f seller at Goodwood on latest; needs to take another step forward. |

2.5/1(-25%) | (5) Rock On Tommy 2.5/1, Back to winning ways when taking 8-runner handicap hurdle over C&D (heavy) 8 days ago, readily. Carries 7 lb penalty for that success but another bold bid is on the cards. Comfortable winner over C&D last week and looks the most likely winner under a penalty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (1.88/1 +46%) Ten Past Midnight |
1.88/1(+46%) | (6) Ten Past Midnight 1.88/1, Won 3 on the bounce in 2021 and also hit the target at Southwell last June but hasn't landed a blow in either start this year and is now refitted with visor. Betting suggested better was expected last time at Stratford and this is pretty weak. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (14/1 -27%) Imac Wood |
14/1(-27%) | (1) Imac Wood 14/1, Dual chase winner in France early last year. First sign of encouragement over hurdles for new yard when fourth at Bangor in February but not built on that since and showed little over fences last time. Had wind operation. 12lb lower than when fourth at Bangor in Feb but he's been pretty moderate since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (14/1 -180%) Definite |
14/1(-180%) | (4) Definite 14/1, Fairly useful performer at best on Flat (stays 1¼m) and has shown a bit over hurdles, posting best effort when third at Plumpton (15.9f) in May. Not in quite same form at Southwell latest but warrants respect on switch to handicapping, Interesting handicap debutant, though has raced mainly on good or faster ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) (22/1 +12%) African Sun |
22/1(+12%) | (9) African Sun 22/1, Won over C&D last summer but has rarely threatened since and makes limited appeal from 4 lb out of the handicap. Unconvincing profile and beaten 14l when third at Southwell last November. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (8/1 +33%) Toughasoldboots |
8/1(+33%) | (3) Toughasoldboots 8/1, Doubled her tally returned to hurdling at Carlisle (17f, soft) in March but has disappointed twice since and has something to prove now. Carlisle winner in March but tailed off in her two subsequent runs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (7/1 +13%) Scots Gold |
7/1(+13%) | (2) Scots Gold 7/1, Made a solid start in this sphere with three placed efforts in 2021. Well below that form on return from long absence at Worcester last month but is entitled to come on from that. Well beaten on his handicap debut at Worcester (2m, good) following a long absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (9/1 -20%) Pot Of Paint |
9/1(-20%) | (7) Pot Of Paint 9/1, Modest maiden over hurdles for John Groucott in the first half of 2022 but he did have some fair form on the Flat earlier in his career and needs keeping a close eye on in the betting on his return for a very capable new stable. First-time tongue tie added/hood back on. Capable Flat handicapper; still early days over hurdles and now in a new yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
With conditions a concern for Definite, this is likely to go the way of last week's penalised C&D winner ROCK ON TOMMY.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (2.75/1 +45%) Valley Of Flowers |
2.75/1(+45%) | (3) Valley Of Flowers 2.75/1, Latest win at Beverley in June. Fifth of 6 in handicap (11/8) at Beverley (12.1f, good to firm) 12 days ago, needing stronger gallop having missed the break slightly. Has to be taken seriously. Disappointing last time but has a solid record otherwise this term. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (4/1 +38%) Jamil |
4/1(+38%) | (2) Jamil 4/1, Three-time C&D winner, latest of them in May. 9/1, respectable sixth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f) 28 days ago, slowly into stride. Can bounce back returned to this venue. 3-3 over C&D, the most recent success in May; respected back in this scenario. |

5th (8) (4.5/1 -125%) La Forza |
4.5/1(-125%) | (8) La Forza 4.5/1, Off 22 months but almost made a winning return when second of 11 in handicap at Bath (10.2f, good to firm) 63 days ago. Merits consideration having been given time to recover from that effort. Lightly raced maiden; solid second at Bath on sole run this season; strong chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (7/1 -27%) Chief Craftsman |
7/1(-27%) | (6) Chief Craftsman 7/1, Finally doubled tally in 14-runner handicap at Doncaster (16.5f, good to firm, 11/1) 6 days ago. Carries penalty back in trip but he certainly retains scope from this sort of mark. Won similar event at Doncaster (2m) last week; drops back sharply in distance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (11/1 +45%) Whiskey And Water |
11/1(+45%) | (1) Whiskey And Water 11/1, Off 27 months so no major surprise he didn't show much when eighth of 13 in handicap (40/1) at Newcastle (10.2f) 19 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. This will reveal more down in class. This step back up in trip is a plus; second run back from long absence. |

2nd (3) (12/1 +33%) First Company |
12/1(+33%) | (3) First Company 12/1, Eighteen runs since sole win in 2021. Good second at Salisbury in May but below form both starts since, so has plenty to prove here. Close second at Salisbury in May; inconsistent otherwise this year. |

3rd (11) (3.5/1 +36%) The Cola Kid |
3.5/1(+36%) | (11) The Cola Kid 3.5/1, Latest win at Ffos Las in July. Respectable fourth of 9 in handicap (2/1) at Chepstow (6.1f, good to soft) 9 days ago. Respected despite high draw. Last week's effort at Chepstow suggests he's still in satisfactory form. |

6th (13) (50/1 -25%) Quarter Blue |
50/1(-25%) | (13) Quarter Blue 50/1, Remains a maiden after 17 Flat runs. Met plenty of trouble when 8¼ lengths eighth of 9 to More Than Likely in handicap at this C&D (good to firm, 20/1) 14 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time. Others make more appeal. Has C&D form but record is 0-17; new headgear. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (22/1 -57%) Glamorous Force |
22/1(-57%) | (9) Glamorous Force 22/1, Course winner. Step back in right direction when sixth of 12 in handicap at this course (5f, good, 25/1) 7 days ago, not clear run. Not completely discounted. Not entirely disgraced here last week but still hasn't found his peak form this term. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (4.5/1 +36%) Bluebell Time |
4.5/1(+36%) | (5) Bluebell Time 4.5/1, C&D winner. 6/1, best effort this season when sixth of 10 in handicap at Newbury (5.2f, good to firm) 13 days ago, never nearer. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals. Dual course winner off higher marks; shaped nicely in better grade last time; interesting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (9/1 -50%) More Than Likely |
9/1(-50%) | (8) More Than Likely 9/1, Bidding to complete C&D hat-trick after winning here in June before following up with cheekpieces applied 14 days ago. Dug deep on that occasion and though not ideally drawn, she should be in the mix again from 4 lb higher mark. Bidding for a C&D hat-trick; the only negative would be ground softer than good. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (14) (25/1 -25%) Alya's Gold Award |
25/1(-25%) | (14) Alya's Gold Award 25/1, Remains a maiden after 16 Flat runs. Third of 10 in minor event at Brighton (6f, good, 33/1) 15 days ago. Others have achieved more. Inconsistent maiden; far from sure to build on latest effort. |

11th (7) (18/1 +10%) The Daley Express |
18/1(+10%) | (7) The Daley Express 18/1, C&D winner also ran well when third here on penultimate outing. 13/2, ran poorly switched to front-running tactics when last of 8 in handicap at Chepstow (6.1f, good to soft) 9 days ago. Has work to do from this mark. Placed over C&D two outings ago but has been inconsistent in recent times. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (12) (12/1 +25%) Macon Belle |
12/1(+25%) | (12) Macon Belle 12/1, Remains a maiden after 25 Flat runs. Back on track when third of 12 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm, 14/1) 23 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter. Latest effort isn't particularly compelling and record is 0-25. |

8/1(+27%) | (6) Alfred Cove 8/1, Winner at Brighton in May. 13/2, bit below form when fourth of 7 in handicap at this course (5f, firm) 21 days ago but had been running well prior to that performance and he's not one to discount. Last two attempts in this grade have resulted in good performances; not dismissed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (2) (40/1 -21%) Princely |
40/1(-21%) | (2) Princely 40/1, C&D winner. Won at Chepstow in June 2021 on debut for Roger Teal before rejoining former yard after final start that year. MIssed all of last season and can only be watched on return from lengthy absence. Market may prove best guide on return from 19-month absence. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
MORE THAN LIKELY has bounced back to form on her last couple of starts, having forced a dead-heat before winning outright over C&D, and the seven-year-old could have more to offer, despite a 4lb rise from the handicapper. I'm Mable went up 2lb for her Brighton success last month and boasts solid credentials, while Alfred Cove and The Cola Kid appeal most of the remainder.
I'M MABLE notched her first win for her current yard in a small-field event at Brighton last time and should get a strong pace to aim at here again, so is fancied to follow up at the chief expense of More Than Likely, whose bid for the C&D hat-trick will be made more difficult by her high draw. Alfred Cove and The Cola Kid can complete the frame.
Off a handy mark back down in grade and returned to Bath, BLUEBELL TIME gets the vote. Second choice is Clownsman.

1st (6) (1.25/1 +23%) Police Academy |
1.25/1(+23%) | (6) Police Academy 1.25/1, Won sole start in Irish points and acquitted herself well first two starts over fences. Pulled up in handicap chase at Ffos Las (23.8f) though on her final run for Oliver Sherwood so needs to bounce back for her new yard. Could easily be the answer to this despite all her best form being over further. |

2nd (1) (0.73/1 +12%) Manimole |
0.73/1(+12%) | (1) Manimole 0.73/1, Arrives on the back of a caeer-best win in 11-runner novice hurdle at Worcester (16f, good, 5/4) 28 days ago. Concedes 7 lb all round now but she still looks the one to beat. Had her consistency rewarded when making all for a 9l success at Worcester. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (16/1 +20%) Mays Hill |
16/1(+20%) | (3) Mays Hill 16/1, Fair bumper winner but he came in tailed-off eighth of 11 to Manimole in novice hurdle at Worcester (16f, good) on hurdles bow 28 days ago. Needs to show significantly more now. Bumper winner; tailed-off effort on hurdling debut was surely too bad to be true. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (50/1 -127%) Miss Pearl |
50/1(-127%) | (4) Miss Pearl 50/1, Poor hurdler. Last of 7 in handicap hurdle at Aintree (24.7f, good to firm) 33 days ago. Significantly back down in trip with work to do. Tailed off in her last two runs and looks to have plenty on at these weights. |

5th (7) (40/1 -186%) Time For Joy |
40/1(-186%) | (7) Time For Joy 40/1, 9/1, well-held fifth of 7 in novice hurdle at Cartmel (22.1f, soft) on NH debut 19 days ago. A winning pointer however so she is worth another chance for her good yard. Point winner; never on an even keel after jumping the first flight slowly at Cartmel. |

|U| (5) (200/1 -203%) Mountain Rapid |
200/1(-203%) | (5) Mountain Rapid 200/1, Getaway mare. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/very smart chaser (stayed 33f) Ad Hoc. Market can guide. Dam well related but she's making a very belated debut at the age of 11. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Manimole was compensated for her previous efforts in defeat when romping home by nine lengths at Worcester last month and merits respect in a similar contest. Nevertheless, Nigel Twiston-Davies' inmate may prove vulnerable in conceding 7lb to POLICE ACADEMY. The daughter of Arctic Cosmos makes her first appearance for new connections and is fancied to gain a breakthrough success under Rules on this return to hurdling. The selection's stablemate Mays Hill could fare best of the remainder.
The reliable MANIMOLE looks very much the way to go on the back of her impressive Worcester success with question marks over most of her rivals. Police Academy has the form to play a part if the switch to Fergal O'Brien's yard sparks improvement and she is next on the list while Time For Joy shouldn't be written off yet and could emerge best in the quest for minor honours.
If back on song and in receipt of 7lb from likely danger Manimole, this could be a good opportunity for POLICE ACADEMY.

66/1(-313%) | (4) Zachary 66/1, Displayed plenty of early speed before running out of steam when third in 4-runner Musselburgh novice (5f) on debut in May. However, very slowly away and took a backward step when last of 9 in a Lingfield maiden (5f, good to firm) since. Minor RPRs in two races; looks a nursery prospect. |

8th (7) (100/1 -257%) Missterious |
100/1(-257%) | (7) Missterious 100/1, Twice-raced maiden. Eighth of 9 in maiden at Hamilton (6f, good to firm, 16/1) 28 days ago, weakening final 1f. Another who will be better suited to nurseries in due course. This sharp 5f may help but her form claims are poor as things stand. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Lieutenant Rascal and Bellarchi both have strong form claims and plenty of experience, which could prove to be vital here. That said, a chance can be taken on EMIRATES ANGEL, who is a half-sister to the dual Listed-winning juvenile Naval Power and she represents a yard who are more than capable of readying one first time out. Willolarupi was not beaten far on his racecourse bow and is another to consider.
WILLOLARUPI displayed definite promise amidst inexperience when runner-up on debut at Musselburgh 14 days ago and, entitled to have derived plenty from that, he could well be worth siding with to build on that now. Bay of Australia, who was second on debut at Ripon is feared, along with Bellarchi and Lieutenant Rascal.
Lieutenant Rascal and Bellarchi are major players on form but their combined record is 0-10. WILLOLARUPI is preferred.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Dadas Boy is likely to prove popular on his racecourse debut representing connections who have done particularly well with juveniles in recent times. That said, he does come up against rivals that have displayed some promise and the vote, therefore, goes to TANGLED UP IN BLUE. Adam West's filly has run well on both starts over 5f and the slight step up in trip here is likely to see her progress. Lieutenant Rascal and Cotai Vision are both capable of a decent showing having gone to Royal Ascot.
TANGLED UP IN BLUE has made an encouraging start, again shaping well when runner-up at Yarmouth last week, and is preferred to Lieutenant Rascal, who found the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot too demanding last time. Adaay In Devon is another to consider.
Advertise colt SILVER TRUMPET really looked to be getting the hang of things late on at Windsor and gets the verdict.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
NO GETAWAY recorded a first success of the season in a hunter chase at Newton Abbot in May and appears to be fairly treated now returned to handicap company. The rest of his rivals have questions to answer at present and this looks a suitable opportunity for Robbie Llewellyn's charge to record a double. Judge Earle landed two of last season's five victories at this venue and is dangerous to discount, while Pawpaw could be freshened up by a change of scenery.
NO GETAWAY looked rejuvenated when winning a hunter at Newton Abbot and this represents a good opportunity for him to follow up back in a handicap. Pawpaw is a clear next best.
It was only a three-runner hunter chase that NO GETAWAY won last time but the RPR he recorded bodes well.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Muscika (fourth) and OSO RAPIDO (fifth) both posted commendable efforts when they encountered each other in a decent sprint at York on Saturday, but the latter may be able to turn the form around now he is back on a happy hunting ground. The six-year-old won last year's corresponding race off a 7lb higher mark and is a very tempting proposition on his return to this venue. Ecclesiastical has done well since joining his current yard and is another to consider.
OSO RAPIDO took this event 12 months ago and hinted at a revival when fifth in a big field at York last time so gets the nod in a very open handicap. Three-time C&D winner Quercus and in-form Ecclesiastical appeal as the duo to give the selection most to do and can chase hime home in that order.
Off bottom weight, QUERCUS may be able to record a fourth C&D success despite the step up in grade. Blazing Son is second choice.

16/1(+52%) | (5) First Quest 16/1, 40/1, tenth of 11 in handicap at Goodwood (2m, heavy) on Flat return 74 days ago. Cherry Cola looks the stronger of the yard's pair. First Flat run since 2021 when tailed off at Goodwood (2m, heavy; 40-1) in May. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
CHERRY COLA's latest second here has worked out well, with both the third and fourth winning since, and Sheena West's mare could regain the winning thread off the same mark here. Dance Havana found improvement when winning over this distance at Thirsk earlier in the month and is likely to have more to offer. The three-year-old is feared most, despite a 5lb higher mark, while Kindgirl completes the shortlist.
TROOPER BISDEE saw off a next-time-out winner at Yarmouth last month. He failed to fire at Sandown a fortnight later but there were possible excuses in a tactical affair and he can resume his progression now. Fellow 3-y-o Dance Havana is second choice ahead of Ray's The One.
While there is no shortage of creditable recent form, the two most interesting candidates may be DANCE HAVANA and Trooper Bisdee.

2nd (2) (3/1 +0%) Mr Yeats |
3/1(+0%) | (2) Mr Yeats 3/1, Won a trio of handicap hurdles last season and has returned in good form, finishing second over C&D 17 days ago. Should go well again from an unchanged mark. Five-time winner who is mostly consistent and he probably bumped into one over C&D latest. |

3rd (1) (16/1 -167%) Jersey Wonder |
16/1(-167%) | (1) Jersey Wonder 16/1, Largely consistent in the first half of last season, including a win at Fontwell off 2 lb higher, and he presumably needed the run after 8 months off when well held at Newton Abbot 3 weeks ago. Cheekpieces refitted. Should be sharper now. Only win in the last two years came in a three-runner hurdle in May of 2022. |

5.5/1(-22%) | (4) Kazontherazz 5.5/1, Course winner over a slightly shorter trip in December 2021. Runner-up twice in the first half of last season but not seen since an early unseat on his Worcester chase debut in October of last year. Watching brief is the percentage call after 8 months off. Should be happier back over hurdles and entitled to be dangerous off this mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (12/1 -50%) Midnight Glance |
12/1(-50%) | (5) Midnight Glance 12/1, Chase winner last winter. Reportedly finished lame when fifth of 6 at Doncaster in January and given time since. Goes back hurdling now. Only 3lb higher than for his last win over hurdles and can go well fresh. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
This could go the way of the hat-trick seeking SECRET TRIX, who arrives in this following a comfortable victory over an extended 3m on his most recent outing at Southwell. A 6lb raised mark looks unlikely to stop his progression there and he looks the one to beat in deeper waters. Recent C&D runner-up Mr Yeats is feared most having been eased in class, while Kazontherazz is another to consider reverting to timber.
SECRET TRIX didn't look all out when going in again at Southwell recently and can defy the handicapper again and complete a hat-trick. Mr Yeats was second off the same mark here last time and is second choice ahead of Jersey Wonder, who should be sharper for his recent reappearance.
Secret Trix is 2-2 in cheekpieces and might well go in again, but the consistent MR YEATS can give him something to think about.

2nd (3) (10/1 +44%) Muntadab |
10/1(+44%) | (3) Muntadab 10/1, C&D winner. Best run this season when third at Doncaster in May. Beat only one home in a big field at York since but this front runner should find life easier in this less competitive scenario. Won this race in 2021; not particularly solid on 2023 form. |

3rd (1) (4/1 +33%) Milbanke |
4/1(+33%) | (1) Milbanke 4/1, Back to best when a close second at Pontefract (6f, good) last month. Well held in a Class 3 at the same venue since but this slightly easier and he's just as effective at 7f. Possibilities back up in distance, having gained sole handicap win over 7f. |

4th (7) (2.5/1 +9%) Obee Jo |
2.5/1(+9%) | (7) Obee Jo 2.5/1, Gained the third C&D win of his career (and second of 2023) when seeing off 8 rivals on good to firm ground last Wednesday. A 4 lb penalty is unlikely to prevent another prominent showing if in similar form. Successful over C&D last Wednesday, taking Catterick record to 4-12; respected. |

5th (6) (6/1 -50%) Sparkle In His Eye |
6/1(-50%) | (6) Sparkle In His Eye 6/1, Won 4 times in a very productive 2022. Good second of 8 at Musselburgh (7f, good) last month and he's definitely high on the shortlist in this. Hard to dismiss on the back of a good effort at Musselburgh last month. |

6th (4) (150/1 -500%) Castleberg Rock |
150/1(-500%) | (4) Castleberg Rock 150/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Down the field in a pair of 7f handicaps this season. Has something to prove for now. Has achieved little for current stable; now 0-5. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (11/1 +21%) Parys Mountain |
11/1(+21%) | (5) Parys Mountain 11/1, Four-time C&D winner but finished last of 12 on his C&D reappearance in April and hasn't been seen since. Should be more than capable off this mark but hard to be sure what form he turns up in. Four-time C&D scorer; trailed home last here on sole outing this season. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
OBEE JO took full advantage of a tumbling mark when he scored over course and distance last week and has a live chance of following up under a 4lb penalty. That was his third C&D success and, given he is still attractively weighted, another big run is expected. Milbanke is better than he managed to show at Pontefract last time and is dangerous to underestimate, while Sparkle In His Eye and the selection's stablemate, Parys Mountain, are also feared.
SPARKLE IN HIS EYE wasted no time bouncing back to form when second at Musselburgh last month and might be able to resume winning ways now. Last week's C&D scorer Obee Jo rates an obvious danger, while Diamond Vega retains potential as a lightly-raced filly from a good stable and could leave her reappearance behind.
This isn't a particularly strong Class 4 event and OBEE JO is taken to follow up last week's win. Diamond Vega is feared most.

11/1(+39%) | (2) Silver Bubble 11/1, Creditable fifth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f, 33/1) 44 days ago, not ideally placed. Back up in trip and, now 1 lb below last winning mark, she's not written off. Four wins from six races at Brighton; may well be more interesting when back there. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) (12/1 +45%) Susanbequick |
12/1(+45%) | (9) Susanbequick 12/1, Good sixth of 11 in handicap (33/1) at this course (10.2f, good) 7 days ago. Others make more appeal for win purposes. While beaten about 3l here on last three outings, she does not have pressing claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (7/1 -17%) Big Jimbo |
7/1(-17%) | (4) Big Jimbo 7/1, Winner at Kempton in February. 13/2, creditable fifth of 10 in handicap at Salisbury (14.2f, good to soft) 76 days ago. Likely to be on the premises. Needs to turn the tide again if he's to registered a second career win. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (11) (14/1 -17%) Ladypacksapunch |
14/1(-17%) | (11) Ladypacksapunch 14/1, Remains a maiden after 18 Flat runs. Seventh of 10 in minor event (9/1) at this course (10.2f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Still, she is not discounted back in handicap company. 0-18, with two places over 1m2f at Bath last month; this trip looks worth a second attempt. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (66/1 +34%) Gautrey |
66/1(+34%) | (3) Gautrey 66/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 66/1, tenth of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (10f, AW) 27 days ago, very slowly away. Sizeable step forward needed now switched to turf. Big prices, beat one rival at most in three novices (8.6f/7f) and a 1m2f handicap, all AW. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (6/1 +8%) Molliana |
6/1(+8%) | (6) Molliana 6/1, Improved on recent efforts to win 5-runner handicap at Les Landes (12f, firm, evens) 12 days ago. Has fallen to a workable mark and she's one to consider. Prolific in Jersey; two visits to Bath this term suggest she will probably not be far away. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (13) (4.5/1 +10%) Dee's Dream |
4.5/1(+10%) | (13) Dee's Dream 4.5/1, Good second of 6 in handicap (7/2) at Windsor (11.4f, good to firm) 18 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Michael Attwater and cheekpieces on 1st time. Enters calculations. 2nd over 11.4f latest; each-way claims and wears headgear first time on debut for new yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (125/1 -213%) Goodison Girl |
125/1(-213%) | (12) Goodison Girl 125/1, Last of 6 in handicap at Ffos Las (16f, good, 33/1) 15 days ago. Back down in trip and she's readily passed over. 0-11 and has little worthwhile form, tried at up to 2m. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (5) (33/1 -18%) Street Jester |
33/1(-18%) | (5) Street Jester 33/1, C&D winner. 33/1, first run since leaving Robert Stephens when ninth of 10 in handicap at this course (13f, good) 7 days ago. Bit to prove. 632 days off when he showed much more than ninth of ten suggests here last Wednesday. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
BOBBY KENNEDY has been a beaten favourite the last twice, nevertheless, a first-time visor may help the five-year-old to return to winning ways. Big Jimbo isn't taken lightly in these slightly calmer waters than last time and Gary Moore's gelding may prove to be the chief threat, ahead of Molliana, who arrives here on the back of a success in Jersey earlier in the month.
None of these look particularly solid and PFINGSTBERG could be the answer. He took a step forward when third on his handicap debut at Yarmouth last month and wouldn't need to improve much on that bare form to get seriously involved in a race of this nature. Ladypacksapunch will be a threat if she puts her best foot forward, while Dee's Dream is respected on the back of her creditable Windsor effort and Rita Rana is dangerous to discount off this reduced mark.
A chance is taken that PFINGSTBERG can build on the improvement he showed on his handicap debut last time.

1st (1) (3.33/1 -21%) Carlo Du Berlais |
3.33/1(-21%) | (1) Carlo Du Berlais 3.33/1, Failed to make a real impact in bumpers/over hurdles but looked a different proposition switched to fences when making a winning chase debut over C&D (soft) in May. Went down fighting in first-time cheekpieces when a close third back here next time and should again have a part to play. First and third on recent visits here so in form and open to further improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (5/1 +23%) Miss Antipova |
5/1(+23%) | (5) Miss Antipova 5/1, Remains winless following 20 attempts overall but this 11-y-o has certainly been knocking on the door in recent months, finding just one to good for the fourth consecutive start at Worcester (2½m, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Likely to be in the mix once more back up in trip off the same mark. Still a maiden but consistent and has been knocking on the door for a while. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (10) (28/1 +0%) Garcon Dargent |
28/1(+0%) | (10) Garcon Dargent 28/1, Successful twice between the flags but yet to offer any encouragement under Rules. Long way out of the weights for this chase debut and hopes pinned on the first-time blinkers sparking exponential improvement. Poor hurdler who is a long way out of the weights for this chasing debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (3/1 +50%) Deadly Missile |
3/1(+50%) | (6) Deadly Missile 3/1, Point winner who has bettered his bumber/hurdles form tackling fences the last twice, fifth of 12 on debut in this sphere in C&D race won by Carlo Du Berlais before finishing second at Worcester (23f, good). Place possibilities. Kept finding to finish a 7l second at Worcester (2m7f, good) four weeks ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (7/1 +36%) Lough Carra |
7/1(+36%) | (2) Lough Carra 7/1, Built on his chasing debut when second of 4 in a handicap at Huntingdon (2½m, good) 30 days ago. Wasn't seen to best effect in this headgear combination at Worcester since and perhaps this stiffer test will be aid his cause. 14-race maiden who has threatened a breakthrough win but doesn't appear to be improving. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (4/1 -129%) Junior Massini |
4/1(-129%) | (3) Junior Massini 4/1, Not entirely straightforward and modest over hurdles but has sprouted wings switched to fences for this yard, making it 3-4 in this sphere when making all for a decisive success in a 4-runner Newton Abbot handicap (25.8f, good) last time. 5 lb rise could've been worse and he's the one to beat. Sound-jumping front-runner on a four-timer; softish ground the main concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (4) (10/1 -11%) Reign Suepreme |
10/1(-11%) | (4) Reign Suepreme 10/1, Point winner who has yet to strike following a dozen attempts over fences. Latest third with a tongue strap added to usual cheekpieces at Worcester (23f, good) was a good effort but he remains vulnerable for win purposes. 0-12 over fences but off a reduced mark he showed more when beaten under 10l at Worcester. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (18/1 +10%) King Of The Story |
18/1(+10%) | (7) King Of The Story 18/1, Looks pretty modest on the whole and was beaten a long way on the back of a wind op at Worcester when last seen in June 2022. Best watched starting out for new yard here. Some promise over fences but not enough to make a strong case on stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (125/1 -89%) Old Page |
125/1(-89%) | (9) Old Page 125/1, A winner in Irish points but remains with little form under Rules and it's easy enough to look elsewhere. 15-race maiden who is in no form and again out of the weights. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) (200/1 -60%) My Foxy Lady |
200/1(-60%) | (8) My Foxy Lady 200/1, Will need to leave bumper/hurdles form a long way behind if she's make an impact on this chase debut. 11yo with no worthwhile form; makes belated chasing debut after an absence. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
An emphatic winner over 3m2f last month, JUNIOR MASSINI recorded his third win from four chase starts at Newton Abbot most recently and Sheila Lewis' inmate can add to that winning tally off a 5lb higher mark. A drop in trip may not be enough to faze him, given he scored over this distance at Bangor on his penultimate outing. Miss Antipova has been knocking on the door of late and looks the selection's biggest danger, while Deadly Missile completes the shortlist.
JUNIOR MASSINI has thrived since going chasing and the manner of his latest success at Newton Abbot strongly suggested that this 5 lb higher mark would be well within reach. He is taken to complete the four-timer, perhaps at the chief expense of Miss Antipova, who has yet to taste success but she hit the crossbar on each of her last 4 starts and should remain competitive. Carlo du Berlais is third choice ahead of Deadly Missile.
There has been plenty to like about how JUNIOR MASSINI (nap) has been winning his races and he's taken to complete the four-timer.

1st (4) (20/1 -264%) Roderick |
20/1(-264%) | (4) Roderick 20/1, Useful at his best. Off since a disappointing run at Dundalk (8f) in February but is a potentially a classy sort for a race like this. Respected but lacks the race-fitness of stablemate Is That Love who is rated 7lb inferior. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (12/1 +52%) Brown Eagle |
12/1(+52%) | (1) Brown Eagle 12/1, Fair gelding. Last of 19 in handicap (16/1) at Naas (5.9f, good) 11 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Cheekpieces back on. Won a 7f Roscommon claimer last year, modest overall form, hard to fancy at these weights. |

3rd (3) (1.62/1 +1%) Is That Love |
1.62/1(+1%) | (3) Is That Love 1.62/1, Fairly useful gelding. First run since leaving Adrian McGuinness when respectable third of 11 in claimer (11/2) at Dundalk (7f) 7 days ago. Respected. Possibly hit the front too soon on stable debut at Dundalk. good chance on overall form. |

9th (7) (16/1 +0%) Santa Catarina |
16/1(+0%) | (7) Santa Catarina 16/1, Fair filly. Seventh of 11 in claimer at Dundalk (7f, 10/1). Off 9 months. Hood on 1st time, tongue strap on 1st time. Placed three times last season including in a maiden claimer, lacks a recent outing. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
A seven-time winner, IS THAT LOVE looks the one to beat. Claimed by James McAuley after going down by half a length on his penultimate start, the six-year-old since finished a close-up third at Dundalk last week. McAuley also saddles Roderick, the highest-rated runner in the line-up on a mark of 83. A three-time winner before arriving in Ireland, he finished down the field on his most recent start at Dundalk in February. New Route is an interesting contender with Dylan Browne McMonagle booked to ride. Far from disgraced in recent starts at Leopardstown and Limerick, he could make an impact in a contest of this quality. In for just 4,000 euros, Ard Mhacha has claims with Jamie Powell taking 5lb off, while others that warrant respect are Brown Eagle, Might And Mercy and Santa Catarina.
MIGHT AND MERCY ran a bit better dropped to a claimer last time and is taken to build on that and resume winning ways with Colin Keane back in the saddle. Is That Love arrives on the back of 2 placed efforts in similar company and is second choice ahead of his stablemate Roderick, who ran badly when last seen but is more than capable at this level judged on his best form.
Claiming-race specialist James McAuley supplies the two highest-rated runners. On the basis of race-fitness IS THAT LOVE gets the vote

1st (5) (10/1 -25%) Slingsbytoo |
10/1(-25%) | (5) Slingsbytoo 10/1, 22/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, good fourth of 13 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago. That represented a step in the right direction and shouldn't be far way if coping with the drop to the minimum trip. Ran well dropped to 6f last time but didn't appear to be crying out for this sharp 5f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (9) (4.5/1 +40%) Mrs Bagerran |
4.5/1(+40%) | (9) Mrs Bagerran 4.5/1, One win from 30 Flat runs. 6/1, career best when winning 11-runner handicap at Musselburgh (5f, good) 26 days ago. 2 lb nudge fair enough and she's likely to be in the thick of things once again. Close second over C&D on penultimate outing, then made all at Musselburgh; in-form mare. |

3rd (4) (3.6/1 +28%) High Opinion |
3.6/1(+28%) | (4) High Opinion 3.6/1, Sixth of 8 in handicap at Thirsk (5f, soft, 4/1) 29 days ago. Eased 2 lb and and will be a threat if he puts his best foot forward. Has become nicely treated, having gained sole win off just 1lb lower; enters calculations. |

4th (3) (33/1 -65%) Premier Option |
33/1(-65%) | (3) Premier Option 33/1, Sixth of 7 in handicap (11/2) at this C&D (good to soft) 84 days ago. Now tried in cheekpieces/tongue strap and the new headgear combination needs to spark improvement if he's to have a say. Yard also saddles Albegone. Maiden who has course form; returns from break with tongue-tie/cheekpieces fitted. |

5th (6) (12/1 -71%) Kraken Power |
12/1(-71%) | (6) Kraken Power 12/1, Respectable fifth of 10 in handicap at Ayr (6f, good to soft, 9/2) 9 days ago. Live each-way chance. Consistent this year but the negative remains his poor strike-rate on turf. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (6/1 +29%) Ben Macdui |
6/1(+29%) | (2) Ben Macdui 6/1, Thirteen runs since last win in 2022. 22/1, creditable fourth of 14 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) 19 days ago. Feasibly treated judged on peak form and not without each-way hope. Has made the frame in two of his four runs for new yard, close fourth latest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (4/1 +0%) Albegone |
4/1(+0%) | (8) Albegone 4/1, Fifteen runs since last win in 2022. Below form sixth of 12 in handicap at Chester (5.1f, good, 6/1) 19 days ago. Blinkers back on and he's becoming too well-handicapped to ignore. On a 15-race losing sequence but is well handicapped granted a return to best. |

8th (1) (9/1 -100%) Dandy Spirit |
9/1(-100%) | (1) Dandy Spirit 9/1, Latest win at Nottingham in May. 22/1, first run since leaving Roger Fell when respectable fifth of 13 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Shortlist material. May struggle for pace back over a bare 5f with usual blinkers removed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (8/1 +33%) Ohnojoe |
8/1(+33%) | (7) Ohnojoe 8/1, Course winner. 20/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, fourth of 12 in handicap at Beverley (5f, good) 11 days ago. Others make greater appeal. Signs of a return to form at Beverley 11 days ago; 1-1 at Catterick; interesting back here. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Just a length and a quarter separated Dandy Spirit (winner) and HIGH OPINION (third) when they clashed at Wetherby in April and both are entitled to go well again. However, the revised terms hand an advantage to the latter and, off just 1lb higher than his last winning mark, Bryan Smart's gelding shades preference today. Others with appeal include recent Musselburgh winner Mrs Bagerran and her old rival Kraken Power, who is also on a competitive rating.
Returning to 0-65 company could be the catalyst for DANDY SPIRIT to resume winning ways. The 6-y-o was a back-to-back winner at this level during the spring and he's unlikely to be inconvenienced by dropping back to the minimum trip here. Next on the list is Albegone, who continues to edge down the weights and will surely capitalise on the handicapper's mercy before long. High Opinion, Musselburgh winner Mrs Bagerran and Slingsbytoo are others to consider.
Back at Catterick, OHNOJOE may be the answer off a reduced mark. Mrs Bagerran is second choice.

50/1(-52%) | (10) Katie K 50/1, 25/1, fifth of 7 in handicap at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm) 12 days ago. Others more appealing. Placed on only one of her six starts; it's easy to look elsewhere. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
HITCHED has been a different proposition since being gelded and a second win in three starts could be in the offing for the son of Cotai Glory. His chief threats look to be C&D winner Eye Of The Water and Paco's Pride, who has been running with credit of late, while Fact Or Fable is another to consider as he goes back up in trip.
HITCHED has really upped his game in recent starts and remains fairly treated. He can register his second victory. Lilandra and Paco's Pride rate the principal dangers.
A few with chances but HITCHED (nap) has more to offer judged on his Yarmouth second and he gets the vote off the same mark.

6/1(+33%) | (6) King Otis 6/1, Modest maiden hurdler at best who didn't get home back over hurdles in first-time cheekpieces at Worcester (3m) 9 days ago. Drop back in trip looks a good move.
8th (3) (5/1 +17%) Inchester D'Amsyl |
5/1(+17%) | (3) Inchester D'Amsyl 5/1, Showed a bit on first 2 starts over hurdles, not unduly punished when runner-up in a novice at Huntingdon (15.8f) in February. Underperformed on handicap debut at Southwell when last seen in April but it remains early days. Tongue strap on for 1st time.

11th (11) (200/1 -100%) Ballynaveen Boy |
200/1(-100%) | (11) Ballynaveen Boy 200/1, Little form on Flat/over hurdles. |

INCHESTER D'AMSYL failed to get into contention on his handicap debut in April, but a first-time tongue-tie, combined with a 4lb lower mark, could see Jonjo O'Neill's charge get off the mark at the fifth time of asking. Connections of Blazing Court enlist cheekpieces for their gelding in an attempt to spark additional enthusiasm into him and he shades the danger vote from Sir Canford.
INCHESTER D'AMSYL underperformed on his Southwell handicap debut back in April, but it remains very early days and he's worth another chance having shown clear promise in his qualifying runs prior to that. Blazing Court may progress again now venturing into handicaps over a longer trip, while One Man Party is another who could have a say if building on his latest effort.
Sir Canford can no doubt improve on his latest fourth here but it could pay to chance ONE MAN PARTY.

16/1(-78%) | (4) Dramatic Entrance 16/1, Once-raced maiden. Fifth of 12 in minor event at Leopardstown (7.2f, good, 15/2) on debut 27 days ago. Should improve. Extra furlong should suit on the evidence of a staying-on fifth over 7f at Leopardstown. |

4th (5) (50/1 -79%) Naisiun |
50/1(-79%) | (5) Naisiun 50/1, Once-raced maiden. 28/1, seventh of 11 in maiden at Roscommon (7.3f, good to soft) on debut 15 days ago. Stable having good spell. Open to progress. Showed inexperience first time out at Roscommon but began to get the hang of things late. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (80/1 -142%) Burn The Bridges |
80/1(-142%) | (3) Burn The Bridges 80/1, Once-raced maiden. Twelfth of 13 in maiden (40/1) at the Curragh (7f, good) on debut 18 days ago. Stable in good form. Slowly away and never in the hunt in Curragh maiden won by the exciting City Of Troy. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Despite giving weight all round, DEEPONE can follow in the footsteps of Luxembourg by taking this mile contest. The Study Of Man bay put in an impressive performance on debut at Leopardstown in May, coming home two and a half lengths to the good. The well-regarded Spanish Flame finished fourth and has since given the form a significant boost by winning his next two. Dramatic Entrance started her career with a satisfactory fifth last month and she is likely to improve for that effort. Nor Time Nor Tide holds a Futurity Stakes entry and while he'll need to be smart to take this, he should give a good account of himself on debut. Burn The Bridges and Naisiun failed to make a significant impact at the Curragh and Roscommon respectively and they look up against it now.
DEEPONE looked a useful prospect when winning a decent maiden at Leopardstown in good style so can defy a penalty. Nor Time Nor Tide holds a Group 2 entry so is a newcomer to note.
This should be straightforward for DEEPONE, a debut winner at Leopardstown and apparently destined for better things than this

Every chance if back to her best. Yet to add to her 2yo win and comes here after a very disappointing AW run. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Returning to 7f shouldn't be a problem for the hat-trick seeking DESERT FALCON, who has made all in his last two starts and still has scope for progression. The three-year-old is yet to be tested on anything slower than good to firm on turf, so any rain might be the only hinderance. Mobashr is highly experienced and commands respect based on his current form, while Verona Star may be sharper after last month's reappearance.
Sir Mark Prescott's DESERT FALCON arrives firmly on the up so is fancied to make light of a 4 lb rise for his Chepstow success and go 3-3 this term. Mobashr wasn't seen to best effect when runner-up at Doncaster last time and is feared most with Marinara and Serious Look also well in the mix in a competitive handicap.
Preference is for MOBASHR, who looked unlucky not to complete a quick double on Thursday and ought to have this race run to suit.

First run for yard after leaving Julia Feilden and a rare turf outing. Fair fifth at Lingfield in March; changed hands for £4,500 and not ruled out for new yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
VILLALOBOS hasn't been beaten far on each of his last three starts, including once over C&D, and this looks like a good opportunity to regain the winning thread. Simon Hodgson's charge gets the vote ahead of the Wolverhampton-scorer Mr Trick and Luxy Lou, who must be a key player stepped up in trip after a highly creditable performance at Brighton last month.
VILLALOBOS posted another excellent effort when runner-up at Windsor a fortnight ago and his profile is far more positive than most at this level. He's very much the one to beat, with Mr Trick (on return to action) and Luxy Lou heading the opposition.
Course winner KRAKEN FILLY is taken to bounce back in style now refitted with cheekpieces.

A brother to Group 1 winners Alpha Centauri and Discoveries, Simpson's Paradox has undoubtedly been disappointing. A beaten favourite on his return to action at Gowran in April, he looks opposable now. Having said that, there isn't much strength and depth to this contest. Genuine Article was a solid third on debut over the course and distance in October, but the form of that race hasn't worked out well. A runner-up on debut at Dundalk, Signatory could only manage fifth on his next start. The John Murphy-trained colt should still be able to make an impact here, while Sorrento Point and newcomer Sevensees are others that warrant respect. For a selection, TOLL STONE gets the nod. He ran a race full of promise when fourth on debut at Ballinrobe last month and the son of Australia should come on plenty for that experience.
GENUINE ARTICLE showed a bit when third on debut here in October and this well-bred sort can find the required improvement to beat Signatory and Simpson's Paradox.
Gelded since failing to justify even-money favouritism on his seasonal debut, the 82-rated SIMPSON'S PARADOX may recover losses now

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
ETOILE D'ALEXANDRE's respectable third at Chester last time sets the standard and, with William Buick taking over from a 5lb claimer, she merits plenty of respect with more progression potentially forthcoming. Red Zone Hero and Midnight Force have bags of scope for improvement and also merit consideration, while Cloud King has an appealing pedigree and certainly warrants a betting check.
SEVEN QUESTIONS stepped up on debut when only just denied over C&D 6 weeks ago and can go one place better. Bibendum and Our Bank are a couple of likely newcomers so must be respected.
Promise across the board. ETOILE D'ALEXANDRE had plenty against her at Chester second time out and is readily forgiven that bare result.

That was an eye-catching effort but looks up against it on these terms. Handicap winner at Limerick in April, this is a very ambitious test for a 78-rated filly. |

Out of Group 1 winner Clemmie, UNLESS is the suggestion in this competitive Listed affair. She belatedly made the breakthrough at Naas in May and since ran a fine race to finish fourth of 29 in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot. Like the selection, Eternal Silence also gained an overdue win at Naas. Third at the highest level as a juvenile, she impressively dismissed her rivals at the Tipper Road venue, and it'll come as no surprise if she manages to follow up now. Indian Wish (wearing first-time cheekpieces) and Mea Domina (wearing a first-time tongue-strap) are both rated 100 and are sure to have plenty of supporters. A dual Listed winner in her native France, the latter has been placed in two starts since joining the Paddy Twomey yard. Clever And Cool appreciated the drop in class when obliging at Naas recently and should give a good account of herself, while Giladah and Zoinnocent are others to keep on side.
It wasn't the strongest of maidens that ETERNAL SILENCE landed at Naas three weeks ago but won by a street and she can take this step back up in class in her stride. Indeed, she was placed twice in Group company as a 2-y-o, most notably finishing third to top-class filly Tahiyra in the Moyglare. French import Mea Domina found just one too good in a Group 3 at the Curragh last time and looks a big threat, while Indian Wish and Unless can do battle for minor honours.
Paddy Twomey's French import MEA DOMINA (nap) is arguably the pick of these on early-season form

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
The key to this race looks to be the recent clash over C&D between Glory Call (first) and ALAINN TU (third), with preference for the latter on this occasion. Stan Moore's charge had a bit more work to do than the winner when beaten half a length on that occasion, and a 2lb swing at the weights can aid her cause this time around. Flying Barty and Ma Famille are capable of being in the shake-up also.
GLORY CALL found plenty to shade a tight finish over C&D last month and might be able to follow up off 2 lb higher from a handy inside stall. Alainn Tu and Noble Captain weren't far behind the selection in third/fourth last time and should figure again, while Clive Cox's Ma Famille, who was prominent in the betting here last time, is still unexposed and may fare better back from a break.
Despite the outside stall, it may be worth chancing ROYAL MARINER who knows how to win and takes a significant drop in grade.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
She's A Mirage coped well with the step to this trip when she landed a handicap in Jersey last month and can go close with her stamina now proven, while Boudica Warrior is respected in a race of this nature on her deut for a new yard. However, BAILAR CONTIGO has potential to flourish at this level and, having shown improvement with a tongue-tie applied when third at Beverley recently, she shades preference.
Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and SHE'S A MIRAGE is weighted to follow up her recent breakthrough success at Les Landes so gets the nod. Bailar Contigo is another who can have a say on these terms with Naadyaa also one to consider for place purposes.
This pick is BAILAR CONTIGO, who ought to find this race a bit easier than the Beverley handicap in which she was third last month.

SOI DAO should be suited by this step up to a mile. The Mickey Fenton-trained filly has caught the eye finishing well on her latest two starts and has actually been dropped a few pounds by the handicapper. Everylittlestep gained a deserved win when beating 21 rivals at Leopardstown last month and the form has been franked with a couple of recent winners coming out of that 1m1f event. Linger For Longer has strung together a series of solid efforts this season while Trueba, General Idea and Boomerang Bill are others to consider.
It's quite late in the day for SOI DAO to be trying 1m for the first time bit she looks well worth a go at it given how she's been shaping up of late. Everylittlestep arrives on the back of a big-field handicap win so she has to command respect, along with Linger For Longer and General Idea.
There could be better to come from narrow Leopardstown winner EVERYLITTLESTEP who needs to be held up for as long as possible.

Runner-up on each of his last three starts, including over C&D in March, WRATH OF HECTOR deserves a change in luck and he may be able to end a losing run dating back to July last year. Lingfield winner Mr Fayez can give him the most to think about, along with Struck Gold, who has gone close here the last twice but remains a maiden through eight outings.
WRATH OF HECTOR has had a consistent spell lately and can deservedly get his head back in front. John Butler's Struck Gold has been runner-up twice over C&D in recent weeks and is second choice ahead of One For The Ladies, who shaped reasonably well on her comeback run in the spring and would stand a good chance if recapturing anywhere near her best form.
The vote goes to WRATH OF HECTOR who has finished runner-up in his last three starts and is a reliable type for this sort of level.

200/1(-100%) | (1) College Wizard 200/1, Twice-raced gelding. 200/1, eighth of 10 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 30 days ago. Soundly beaten at triple-digit odds on first two starts (8.3f/7f). |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
RAJINDRI has looked well up to securing one of these contests the last twice and, with her latest runner-up effort coming at Thirsk over a mile, she is taken to shed her maiden tag. Red Hat Eagle could prove to be her biggest danger as he makes his return to action after hitting the frame in both career starts on the all-weather, while Liberty warrants a market check.
An excellent opportunity for the fairly-useful RAJINDRI to get off the mark. Red Hat Eagle and Valtellina can fight it out for minor honours.
This is a good opportunity for RAJINDRI, who has gone close over 1m on her two starts this season and should be fine over today's trip.

Hiked up 9 lb on the back of that and more to do if he's to follow up. Clear with second when scoring at Gowran but 9lb hike makes this tough. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
GOLDEN FRECKLE was unconsidered in the market on her handicap debut over this trip at Limerick last month but ran a cracker despite repeatedly being denied a clear run in the straight. The Thomond O'Mara-trained filly should reverse places with the third, Purring Along, as the pair were only separated by a head. Barnhill Rose finished about four lengths behind the selection at Limerick but was successful on both starts either side of that run including at Roscommon last time where Pallasmore Lass finished well when close up in third. Chimeric won in good style at Gowran last month but has been raised 9lb, while Leviosa is another to note.
GOLDEN FRECKLE arrives one of the least exposed and marked herself down as one to be interested in when fourth on return/handicap at Limerick 25 days ago. She gets the nod to build on that, with Pallasmore Lass, Barnhill Rose and Rose of Malta a trio of others to consider.
A good bit of collateral form here and perhaps GOLDEN FRECKLE can reverse recent Limerick form with Purring Along

0.33/1(+42%) | (1) Battista 0.33/1, Promising type. 5/1, third of 6 in minor event at Newmarket (8f, good) 25 days ago, running on. Remains open to improvement and presented with a good opportunity to open his account. Ability both starts last month; the slightly stiffer test should suit; the one to beat. |

2nd (3) (5/1 +0%) Emperor's Clothes |
5/1(+0%) | (3) Emperor's Clothes 5/1, Once-raced maiden. 20/1, third of 11 in minor event at Lingfield (8f, AW) on debut in February. That was a fairly encouraging start to his career and should pick up a race at some point. Promising third on Lingfield debut in February; demands respect in this field. |

4th (4) (33/1 -65%) Vale Dolobo Dancer |
33/1(-65%) | (4) Vale Dolobo Dancer 33/1, Once-raced maiden. 14/1, sixth of 10 in maiden at this course (7.2f) on debut 30 days ago. Up in trip and needs to raise his game significantly. Sixth on his debut here last month; may be one for handicaps in due course. |

|U| (2) (5/1 -43%) City Of York |
5/1(-43%) | (2) City Of York 5/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 11/4, fifth of 8 in minor event at Lingfield (8f, AW) when last seen in December. Placed twice at Kempton prior to that and could be the one to follow Battista home, provided he takes to tapeta. Showed ability in four starts on Polytrack late last year; still rates a contender. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
BATTISTA has shown more than enough ability in both career starts to suggest that he can get off the mark as he steps up in distance here. The son of New Bay could have too much for consistent four-race maiden City Of York and Emperor's Clothes, who ran a highly-encouraging race on debut at Lingfield when running on into third.
It's hard to look beyond BATTISTA, who has shown plenty of promise in much stronger novice events than this at Kempton and Newmarket. City of York is preferred to Emperor's Clothes for forecast purposes.
This can go to BATTISTA who showed ability in both starts last month, while his sire's fine record here is another positive.

4.5/1(-64%) | (3) Eight Mile 4.5/1, 15/2, career best when winning 7-runner handicap at Brighton (6f, good) 8 days ago. Carries 6 lb penalty but still not taken lightly. Engaged 5.05 Lingfield Tuesday. Took his form to a new level with comfortable win last week; seriously considered. |

2nd (1) (5/1 +50%) Foreseeable Future |
5/1(+50%) | (1) Foreseeable Future 5/1, C&D winner. Latest win at Ripon in May. 11/1, eleventh of 13 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Can give a good account if shrugging off latest effort. Didn't fire last time but won off today's mark in May and dips back into Class 6 today. |

3rd (4) (10/1 +0%) Porfin |
10/1(+0%) | (4) Porfin 10/1, Fifteen runs since last win in 2022. Respectable third of 6 in handicap at Brighton (6f, good, 9/1) 22 days ago. Possibilities. Has much better win-rate on AW but made the frame three times on turf last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (4/1 +0%) Gatwick Kitten |
4/1(+0%) | (6) Gatwick Kitten 4/1, C&D winner. 2 wins from 4 runs this year. Won 10-runner minor event (11/10) at Brighton (6f, good) 15 days ago, always holding on. Player in his hat-trick bid. Back on track with two classified wins in recent weeks; has more to do in this handicap. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (10) (5.5/1 +45%) Enchanted Night |
5.5/1(+45%) | (10) Enchanted Night 5.5/1, 2/1, improved on recent efforts to win (first in 32 starts) 8-runner handicap at this course (5.2f, good) 13 days ago. Balance of probabilities suggests she's unlikely to follow up. Opened account at 32nd attempt when pushed-out winner here (5f) a fortnight ago; up 4lb. |

12/1(-9%) | (8) Carry On Aitch 12/1, Winner at Windsor in June. 7/1, last of 10 in handicap there (5.1f, good to firm) 23 days ago so needs to get back on track. Won a Windsor last month but well beaten there since and not one to rely upon heavily. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (2) (2.75/1 +31%) Lilkian |
2.75/1(+31%) | (2) Lilkian 2.75/1, Landed 8-runner handicap at Kempton (6f, 5/2) 13 days ago. Needs considering despite a 3 lb rise. Much better known for his AW exploits (11 wins) but went close over C&D last month. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Lilkian struck at Kempton on his latest outing but he now makes his return to turf, where he remains winless, so for that reason the vote goes to GATWICK KITTEN. The son of Kitten's Joy has recorded a double in classified events recently and now returns to handicap company, which may not stop him from completing the hat-trick. Last-time-out scorer Enchanted Night is another to note.
A trappy sprint but GATWICK KITTEN arrives in fine fettle so is taken to complete a hat-trick back in handicap company. Bluebells Boy has been given a chance by the official assessor and is next on the list ahead of the consistent Porfin.
After running well from the front over 7f at Newcastle last month, BLUEBELLS BOY may benefit from this drop back in trip.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
FOLLY BEACH has dropped down to an attractive mark and went close at Tipperary last time when just failing by a head to peg back Belgoprince. The fourth, Wild Shot, gave that form a boost when scoring at Tramore last week. Tastyee has been a model of consistency this year gaining reward when successful at Tipperary and didn't enjoy the clearest of runs when a creditable third subsequently at Fairyhouse. Jabbar came home strongly when third to Kodiac Prince in a 22-runner handicap at the Curragh last time and should go close if staying this extra quarter mile while stablemate Hello Power also gave encouragement when third at Tipperary a fortnight ago. Slieve Bearnagh and Romann complete the shortlist.
Preference is for FOLLY BEACH, who has been given a chance by the handicapper and came close to opening her account at Tipperary a fortnight ago. Jabbar and Tastyee head the list of dangers.

7.5/1(+17%) | (9) Dame Sarra 7.5/1, 11/1, good second of 9 in handicap at Lingfield (11.5f, good to firm) 25 days ago, no match for winner. Less exposed than a lot of these. Not taken lightly. Ran her best race when second on turf at Lingfield last time; claims if building on that. |

2nd (1) (6.5/1 -86%) Miss Sligo |
6.5/1(-86%) | (1) Miss Sligo 6.5/1, C&D winner. Career best when winning 10-runner classified event at Chepstow (1½m, good to soft, 5/2) 9 days ago. Should give another good account. C&D winner who landed a similar race on turf last time; respected despite penalty. |

4/1(+43%) | (3) Alioski 4/1, Modest gelding. 9/1, creditable third of 12 in classified event at Lingfield (1½m, AW) on reappearance 43 days ago. Entitled to be sharper for the outing Flat/hurdles winner who ran well to finish third on his Lingfield return last month. |

5th (10) (2/1 +67%) Optik |
2/1(+67%) | (10) Optik 2/1, Good second of 11 in handicap (9/2) at Lingfield (1¼m, AW) 18 days ago. Back up in trip. Shortlist material. Runner-up in last four starts; should stay the extra 2f and is one of the likelier winners. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (4.5/1 -29%) Owen Little |
4.5/1(-29%) | (6) Owen Little 4.5/1, Course winner. Sixth of 8 in handicap (11/2) at Yarmouth (1¾m, good to firm) on reappearance 34 days ago. Should come on for the outing. Both wins have come on the AW but he probably needs further than this now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (50/1 -100%) Six Strings |
50/1(-100%) | (7) Six Strings 50/1, Course winner in January. Below form sixth of 12 in classified event (10/1) at this course (8.6f), left poorly placed. Off 111 days. Significantly up in trip. Dual winner over shorter here; can go well fresh but has stamina to prove. |

8th (2) (25/1 +0%) Adaayinourlife |
25/1(+0%) | (2) Adaayinourlife 25/1, One win from 21 Flat runs. Eighth of 9 in handicap at Nottingham (1¼m, good to soft, 40/1) 11 days ago. It's hard to know what to expect and he has a bit to find in any case, even at this level. |

9th (8) (33/1 +0%) Zoffany Portrait |
33/1(+0%) | (8) Zoffany Portrait 33/1, Modest gelding. Seventh of 8 in handicap (16/1) at Leicester (1½m, good) 20 days ago. Blinkers back on. Unplaced in all 11 starts and still has stamina to prove over this far. |

10th (5) (33/1 -32%) Harmonious |
33/1(-32%) | (5) Harmonious 33/1, Remains a maiden after 35 Flat runs. 22/1, creditable sixth of 13 in handicap at this course (1¾m) 23 days ago. Blinkers back on. Not easy to make a case for. Second in similar race over C&D in February; has not matched that form since and now 0-35. |

11th (12) (150/1 -127%) Wilpena Pound |
150/1(-127%) | (12) Wilpena Pound 150/1, Poor form. 100/1, ninth of 10 in handicap at Yarmouth (11.5f, good to firm) 48 days ago. Makes tapeta debut. Visor on first time. Moderate for Sir Mark Prescott and beaten a very long way on stable debut; visor on. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
DAME SARRA produced her best effort to date when runner-up on turf at Lingfield and she makes a fair amount of appeal on her first start in a classified event. Optik is likely to be in the mix once again, having finished second on his last four starts, while Alioski is expected to improve from his first run of the year when third at Lingfield.
The return to 1½m should suit OPTIK who is taken to finally get his head in front after a frustrating run of seconds. The fact Miss Sligo has been a regular winner during her career counts for plenty at this level and she is second choice ahead of Ed Dunlop's Dame Sarra.
The choice is ALIOSKI (nap) who has winning form on Tapeta and ran well to finish third last time on his return from six months off.

1st (3) (12/1 -9%) Harry With Style |
12/1(-9%) | (3) Harry With Style 12/1, Winner at Bath in April. Sixth of 8 in handicap (10/1) at this C&D (good) 13 days ago. Merits consideration if shrugging off latest effort. Hiked up the weights for emphatic Bath win in April and managed only sixth here this month. |

8.5/1(+15%) | (2) Moulin Booj 8.5/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 9/2, fading fifth of 7 in handicap at Chepstow (7.1f, good to firm) 23 days ago. Down in trip with hood on 1st time. Considered. Ultimately well held over 7f on handicap debut but this drop to 5f is an interesting move. |

4th (13) (100/1 -100%) Darlo Pride |
100/1(-100%) | (13) Darlo Pride 100/1, 40/1 and blinkered for 1st time, sixth of 7 in minor event at Brighton (5.3f, good) 8 days ago, ridden too aggressively. Others are still more persuasive. Yet to be placed after eight starts and needs to find improvement from somewhere. |

5th (1) (4.5/1 +47%) Selina's Star |
4.5/1(+47%) | (1) Selina's Star 4.5/1, Off 4 months before posting a good second of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good) 13 days ago. Still unexposed at the minimum trip so she's a player off an unchanged mark. 0-7 but stuck to her task well when second over C&D a fortnight ago. |

6th (5) (6.5/1 +59%) Profitable Dawn |
6.5/1(+59%) | (5) Profitable Dawn 6.5/1, Hooded for 1st time, below-par fifth of 7 in handicap at this C&D (good, 9/1) 19 days ago. Others appeal more. Nine-race maiden who was safely held over C&D when dropped back in trip last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (12) (5.5/1 +45%) Rewilding |
5.5/1(+45%) | (12) Rewilding 5.5/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Creditable third of 9 in handicap (5/1) at Windsor (5.1f, good to firm) 30 days ago. Possibilities. Good third at Windsor last month and may still have a bigger run in him; high on the list. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (8) (11/1 +0%) Byefornow |
11/1(+0%) | (8) Byefornow 11/1, Latest win at Lingfield in April. Below form third of 8 in handicap at this course (6f, good to firm, 9/2) 34 days ago. Others more persuasive. More exposed than most but was placed over 6f here last month and 5f also suits. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (7/1 +30%) Universal Grace |
7/1(+30%) | (10) Universal Grace 7/1, Cheekpieces on for 1st time, creditable third of 8 in handicap (20/1) at this C&D (good) 13 days ago. One for the shortlist with headgear retained. Responded well to first-time cheekpieces when keeping-on third over C&D last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (11) (25/1 +24%) Idiopathic |
25/1(+24%) | (11) Idiopathic 25/1, 28/1, below-form fifth of 8 in handicap at Nottingham (5f, good) 20 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter. Placed on AW in May but not in same form back on turf last month; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (14) (200/1 -203%) Ritarocks |
200/1(-203%) | (14) Ritarocks 200/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 200/1, last of 10 in handicap at Chelmsford City (6f) 83 days ago, slowly away. Makes turf debut with work to do. Always behind when 200-1 for handicap debut at Chelmsford (6f, AW) in April. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
William Buick is an eye-catching booking for Whiskey Priest, who makes his first appearance in the handicap ranks after showing some ability when fourth at Southwell last time. However, preference is for MUCKY MULCONRY after he was four lengths clear of Byefornow (third) when being denied by a head at this track over 6f on his penultimate start. Moulin Booj wears a first-time hood and could have a say down in distance.
Little between the principals on form but SELINA'S STAR made a promising return from four months off when runner-up over C&D and looks the way to go racing off the same mark here. Mucky Mulconry didn't enjoy the rub of the green when third at Windsor last time and rates the chief threat. Universal Grace and Rewilding complete the shortlist.
This can go to REWILDING (nap), who raced on the wing without cover when placed at Windsor last month and still has low mileage.

1st (15) (3.5/1 +42%) Londonofficecallin |
3.5/1(+42%) | (15) Londonofficecallin 3.5/1, Fair winner over hurdles at Punchestown last month. Tongue strap on for 1st time in this code, left previous Flat efforts behind upped markedly in trip when winning 12-runner handicap at Down Royal (12.8f, good, 9/2) 25 days ago. 7 lb higher but needs considering. Down Royal winner up 7lb but still on a nice mark; big player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (9/1 +25%) Belgoprince |
9/1(+25%) | (8) Belgoprince 9/1, Improved on recent efforts to win 13-runner handicap (17/2) at Tipperary (12.6f, good) 2 weeks ago, leading inside final 1f and just kept up to work. Merits consideration with a claimer more than negating a subsequent rise in the weights. Tipperary winner form whom longer trip to suit; talented rider's claim a positive too. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (11) (5.5/1 +39%) Barometer |
5.5/1(+39%) | (11) Barometer 5.5/1, 9/4, probably remained in form when fifth of 10 in handicap at Limerick (17f, good) 26 days ago, just caught a bit flat footed when the tempo lifted. Can get in the mix. 2m1f second here in May merits plenty of respect despite subsequent Limerick demise. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (6.5/1 +41%) Butterfly Garden |
6.5/1(+41%) | (1) Butterfly Garden 6.5/1, 8/1, fared better than of late when third of 8 in handicap at Limerick (12.3f, good) 25 days ago. One to consider. Signalled a return to form at Limerick; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (8/1 -33%) Zileo |
8/1(-33%) | (3) Zileo 8/1, 20/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, creditable sixth of 18 in minor event at the Curragh (12f, good) 19 days ago. Not dismissed back in handicap company. Cheekpieces didn't have any effect latest and now left off; respected on overall profile. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (8.5/1 +6%) Global Export |
8.5/1(+6%) | (4) Global Export 8.5/1, 11/2, ninth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (16.8f, good) 11 days ago. Hood on 1st time on the Flat. Fair on the Flat, creditable on last outing in June. Mainly a hurdler but Listowel flat third (just behind Zileo) puts him in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (16) (12/1 +64%) Red Vermillion |
12/1(+64%) | (16) Red Vermillion 12/1, Latest win at Navan in May. 11/2, ran one of lesser races when seventh of 12 in handicap at Ballinrobe (12.8f, good) 23 days ago, slowly away. RESERVE. Reportedly never travelled at Ballinrobe latest, chance on previous Navan win; reserve. |

8th (7) (33/1 -32%) Sky Legend |
33/1(-32%) | (7) Sky Legend 33/1, 11/2, never better than mid-field when eighth of 13 in handicap at Dundalk (16f). Off 5 months and will need to hit the ground running. Only second turf start and lacks a recent run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (9) (12/1 +25%) Intend |
12/1(+25%) | (9) Intend 12/1, 16/1, ran creditably when fifth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (12f) back in February. Tongue strap on 1st time. Bold bid expected provided he's ready to roll. Lacks a recent run and tongue tie added to usual hood here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (13) (14/1 -40%) Fire Coral |
14/1(-40%) | (13) Fire Coral 14/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 12/1, ran well after 3 months off when second of 16 in handicap at Bellewstown (14.4f, good to soft) 13 days ago, clear of rest. Task is now backing that up. Recent clear Bellewstown second on the improve so respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (28/1 -40%) Chutzpal |
28/1(-40%) | (12) Chutzpal 28/1, 22/1, respectable third of 10 in handicap at Limerick (17f, good) 26 days ago, better placed than most. Just 1 lb above his previous winning mark and could have a big say dropped back markedly in trip. Last month's Limerick third a definite step in right direction; can't be ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (10) (80/1 -21%) Sean Says |
80/1(-21%) | (10) Sean Says 80/1, Unseated rider fourth in handicap chase at Tipperary (23.1f, soft, 15/2) 15 days ago. Fair on the Flat, below form on last outing. Not easy to make a case for. 0-6 on the flat, sole run this season was a moderate one; others look more likely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (6) (25/1 -56%) Hawke Eye |
25/1(-56%) | (6) Hawke Eye 25/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 33/1, first run since leaving P. O'Rourke after 5 months off when seventh of 10 on handicap debut at Leopardstown (12f, good) 61 days ago. Fair handicap debut run in April but not sure this extended trip is what he needs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (5) (20/1 -25%) Star Official |
20/1(-25%) | (5) Star Official 20/1, Course winner. 22/1, again showed little when twelfth of 16 in handicap hurdle at Tipperary (16f, good) 13 days ago. Fair on the Flat, poor on last run. Recent hurdles not encouraging but Navan flat third back in April would give him claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
15th (2) (40/1 -150%) Happywifehappylife |
40/1(-150%) | (2) Happywifehappylife 40/1, Lightly-raced maiden on Flat. 7/2, ran creditably after 6 months off when second of 5 in maiden hurdle at Perth (20.2f, good) 13 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Makes handicap debut. Runner-up here in 2021 or Joseph O'Brien; fir from hurdling. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
MASTER DUNRAVEN was well-backed on his handicap debut at Roscommon when third to the progressive Whisky On The Hill. The Johnny Murtagh-trained gelding should benefit from that experience and could prove difficult to beat if staying this extra quarter mile. Barometer has filled the runner-up spot three times at this venue including over this distance last August, while Zileo has been running well this year and had Global Export a length behind when the pair were placed over two miles at Listowel last month. Londonofficecallin has struck form since joining Eric McNamara this year, bolting up over hurdles at Punchestown before following up on the Flat at Down Royal.
Another big field to end the card and CHUTZPAL is put forward as a tentative selection to open his account for the year. He's back down markedly in trip and operating just 1 lb higher than his previous winning mark, he can get the better of Master Dunraven, who resumed his progress when third on handicap debut a couple of months ago and could have more to offer. Belgoprince and Londonofficecallin are another couple worth considering.
Recent Tipperary winner BELGOPRINCE should appreciate this extra two furlongs and gets the vote ahead of Londonofficecallin

1st (2) (4/1 +0%) Glory And Honour |
4/1(+0%) | (2) Glory And Honour 4/1, Course winner. Latest win here in May. Fifth of 6 in handicap (17/2) at this course (14f) 30 days ago. Some of these boast more appealing claims. Form dipped for the last two of his AW starts but no surprise if he is on the premises. |

2nd (3) (3/1 -33%) Mirrie Dancers |
3/1(-33%) | (3) Mirrie Dancers 3/1, Two wins from 2 runs this year. Didn't need to improve to win 10-runner handicap (9/4) at Redcar (14f, good to firm) 25 days ago, having run of race. No great threat in 3 previous starts on the AW but should stay this far and he has to be respected in his hat-trick bid. 16-month absence before wins at Wetherby (1m5f) and Redcar (1m6f); new trip and AW today. |

3rd (1) (4.5/1 +44%) Social City |
4.5/1(+44%) | (1) Social City 4.5/1, Course winner. 15/2, last of 7 in handicap at Newmarket (16f, good) 20 days ago, better placed than most. Likely to find one or two too good. Wore cheekpieces last three starts, doing well until the ground could excuse latest outing. |

4th (4) (5/1 -11%) Winklevi |
5/1(-11%) | (4) Winklevi 5/1, Course winner. 6/1, good third of 7 in handicap at Chepstow (16f, good to soft) 9 days ago. Needs considering off the same mark. After three disappointing shows, he was back on song nine days ago; effective over C&D. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (2.75/1 -10%) Victoriano |
2.75/1(-10%) | (5) Victoriano 2.75/1, C&D winner in May. Creditable third of 7 in handicap at Catterick (15.9f, good to firm, 3/1) 39 days ago. Looks set for another prominent role. Missed 2022; C&D win in May and close third at Catterick since; 2021 form was a bit better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (16/1 +20%) Kitten's Dream |
16/1(+20%) | (7) Kitten's Dream 16/1, Unreliable type. Course winner. Creditable fifth of 12 in handicap at Southwell (14.1f, 20/1) 36 days ago. Opposable for win purposes. Plenty of form last year and last winter makes this look a good mark; below form of late. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
MIRRIE DANCERS has clearly needed time and rewarded his connections' patience with victories at Wetherby and Redcar last month. The five-year-old steps up in distance again and that may yield further progression. Victoriano scored over C&D on his penultimate outing and warrants plenty of respect, while Glory And Honour is capable of better following his recent outing at this track.
WINKLEVI got back on track following a string of low-key efforts when third at Chepstow recently and he is just about the most persuasive option. Victoriano and the hat-trick seeking Mirrie Dancers head the opposition.
Mirrie Dancers switches from turf for this hat-trick bid, VICTORIANO, a C&D winner eight weeks ago, is slightly preferred.

28/1(-75%) | (3) Hopeforthebest 28/1, Course winner in April. Tenth of 12 in handicap (33/1) at Kempton (16f) 21 days ago. Significantly back down in trip and each-way chance if able to bounce back. Did well here in April when fitted with this headgear combination, but moderate since. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
ANNALEE LASS produced a below-par display on her debut for Peter Niven at Newcastle at the end of last month, but the filly, who has already won twice this year, is capable of bouncing back to form here. The return to the all-weather is likely to benefit Captain St Lucifer following a brace of underwhelming efforts on turf, while others to note include Twistaline and Night Traveller.
There were more positives signs from CODSWALLOP when fifth off this lowly mark over 1¼m at Lingfield last time and, with this drop back in trip a plus, he is worth chancing in a very open-looking handicap. Annalee Lass is just 1 lb above the mark off which she was successful at Ripon in May and rates the main danger. Twistaline found 7.2f too sharp here last month and is respected back over a more suitable distance, while Captain St Lucifer is a live each-way candidate.
Dual course winner TWISTALINE gets the vote, especially after having run well over an inadequate 7f here last time.
Ths is the racecard key.
