14:00 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A runner-up at Bangor last time, LIMETREE BOY is taken to go one better with this extra distance expected to bring about some improvement. Arctic Ambition has slid down the handicap and posted a better effort at Cartmel 10 days ago, while Blazing Court placed over C&D on his chasing bow and there should be more to come from him. Chemical Warfare won over hurdles at Market Rasen but is 10lb higher back over the larger obstacles.

CHEMICAL WARFARE is going the right way for his present yard, taking advantage of his lower hurdles mark in good style at Market Rasen, and remains of strong interest back over fences. Limetree Boy should be suited by a return to this trip and can make his presence felt again, while Blazing Court made a positive start over fences when third over C&D last month.

David Pipe's CHEMICAL WARFARE looked set to go close before his late fall over C&D last month, and has won over hurdles since.

LTO Selection:

14:20 Ayr Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A chance can be taken on WATTANI, who changed hands for 34,000gns and the son of Starspandledbanner has a speedy pedigree. He is related to a few winners and goes for the in-form Alice Haynes stable, so he just shades the vote. Chuti Manika is another with a promising pedigree and would be foolish to dismiss on his first start. Any market support behind Impartiality should also be noted.

The market should provide plenty of clues with all bar one making their debut, with CHUTI MANIKA the tentative selection. Coonawarra Star and Wattani are other possible types.

Harry Palmer is the only runner with experience. WATTANI, Chuti Manika and Coonawarra Star are interesting newcomers.

Gave himself little chance through a dreadful round of jumping last time, but he can bounce back with Cobden booked.

Very lightly raced since promising chase debut in 2022 but lurks on a tempting mark.

14:35 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PILOT SHOW returned to winning ways at Warwick and another bold bid looks likely with a 5lb rise negated by his conditional jockey's allowance. My Gift To You wasn't at his best in a higher grade last time but was running well before that and he can get involved, while Langley Hundred is another to consider based on a couple of good efforts at Newton Abbot last month. Jessie Lightfoot makes most appeal of the rest.

Cases can be made for several, but it could be worth taking a chance on JUDGE EARLE, who has shown little so far this season but is now 2 lb lower than when winning at this course last summer. Pilot Show finally added to his chasing debut success at Warwick just under 6 weeks ago so he can provide most resistance to the selection, with My Gift To You and Langley Hundred another couple fancied to be in the mix.

The pick is JESSIE LIGHTFOOT (nap), who did well for her new stable this spring and held her own in a higher-grade C&D race last time.

14:55 Ayr Handicap (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Winter Crown was just touched off when second at Hamilton last month and he should remain competitive off an unchanged mark. However, the vote goes to BE PROUD, who beat The Caltonian (second) and Classy Al (third) when scoring by a length over track and trip on his latest outing and he is only 3lb higher for that victory. Jim Goldie's eight-year-old can take this step up in his stride and record a double. Slainte Mhath completes the shortlist.

An open-looking sprint but BE PROUD opened his account for the season over C&D just over a fortnight ago and Jim Goldie's 8-y-o is fancied to make light of a 3 lb rise at the expense of Slainte Mhaith, who can have a line put through her latest effort at Chester and has blinkers on for the first time today. Winter Crown can edge out Classy Al for third.

On the back of a very solid effort, WINTER CROWN (nap) holds strong claims off an unchanged mark. Slainte Mhath is second choice.

15:10 Worcester Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Willie Mullins sends FINE MARGIN over from Ireland and he will likely prove to be the one to beat. The seven-year-old won a maiden hurdle in good style at Fontwell in May and can defy a penalty. Bob Bob Ricard has been winning over fences of late and may give the selection something to think about if translating that improved form back to the smaller obstacles, while Sheer Joy has placed in an Irish point-to-point and debuts under Rules having joined Alastair Ralph's yard.

FINE MARGIN got off the mark in straightforward fashion at Fontwell last time and he's the one to beat as he makes only his fifth start for Willie Mullins. The biggest threat could be Bob Bob Ricard, who returns to hurdling having won both starts over fences this season, with Sheer Joy the pick of the remainder.

Bob Bob Ricard needs respecting but FINE MARGIN should take a bit of beating under his penalty.

15:30 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Berry Edge accounted for Highwaygrey (second) and We Still Believe (third) over 1m1f at Carlisle last month and he can confirm that form off a 3lb higher mark. However, RACING VICAR hit the crossbar over a mile here on his penultimate start. The son of Make Believe takes a step up in trip on his handicap bow and can defy his opening mark of 64. Glasses Up is a seven-time course winner and is another to note.

BRAES OF DOUNE (due to run here on Sunday) remains lightly raced for a 6-y-o and returned from a break with a good second over 1m in May. The step back up in trip rates an obvious plus and he's a lead player if turned out quickly. Highwaygrey is lurking on a very dangerous mark and is a player if putting it all together. Berry Edge, Glasses Up and We Still Believe complete the shortlist.

Armed with a 3lb pull and Amie Waugh's 5lb claim, class-dropper HIGHWAYGREY could well reverse Carlisle placings with Berry Edge.

15:45 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

The wet summer has ensured there has been enough juice underfoot for BETHPAGE to register a hat-trick of good-ground victories over a variety of trips. The mare's admirable versatility on that score earns her the vote, despite a 9lb rise for the latest of those comfortable successes. Lallygag had the race at his mercy when he ran out at Newton Abbot last time and is noted with first-time cheekpieces added. Uggy Uggy Uggy is also noteworthy returned to a longer trip.

MR FREEDOM is just 1 lb higher than his last winning mark and looked better than ever on the Flat recently, so he's worth taking a chance on. The four-timer-seeking Bethpage is an obvious threat and Lallygag should be on the premises.

A wide-open handicap with Bethpage feared most but UGGY UGGY UGGY remains with potential off this mark back up in trip.

16:05 Ayr Handicap (Class 3) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

DARK MOON RISING won over this distance at Hamilton before fading in the closing stages on the slow ground at Thirsk on his latest start. He gets another chance back on his favoured surface. Sea King and Struth were both well beaten in the same handicap at Royal Ascot last month, with the former preferred of that pair only 2lb higher than when winning at Ripon in April.

SEA KING was value for extra when making a successful return at Ripon, overcoming trouble in running, so he is taken to resume winning ways as he drops back in grade after Royal Ascot last time. With blinkers applied, he can get the better of Dark Moon Rising, who won over this trip on his penultimate start, while Sir Chauvelin could also be in the mix.

This is a return to much calmer waters for STRUTH (narrowly preferred) and Sea King, who both ran at Royal Ascot last month.

16:20 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Mattie Ross jumped well en route to winning over this distance at Market Rasen last month and appeals despite a 6lb higher mark. While the runner-up in that race, Moro Rock, has a reasonable chance of reversing the form. However, slender preference is for FAHA BELLE, whose two recent second-placed finishes read well in the context of this race. Off just 2lb higher than the most recent of those occasions, she can finally go one better. Astroman and Valentine Getaway also warrant consideration.

FAHA BELLE gets the nod on the back of a pair of runner-up efforts this season. James Owen has booked Harry Cobden for Grove Road who could be a big threat if building on his stable debut fourth. Recent Market Rasen 1-2 Mattie Ross and Moro Rock also make the shortlist.

The suggestion is GROVE ROAD, who seemed to have turned a corner when a close fourth on his recent stable debut.

16:40 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

AL MUQDAD landed a double last month that included a C&D success. Another bold bid looks on the cards back over 7f having failed to stay the mile trip at Doncaster last time. Judgment Call will appreciate the return to good ground judged on his second at Musselburgh on his reappearance, while Monhammer won here in May and makes most appeal of the remainder.

YAASER was an eyecatcher in the very competitive Carlisle Bell recently and is worth a chance to build on that promise back in slightly calmer waters. David O'Meara's Al Muqdad has made a good start to the summer and is second choice ahead of C&D specialist Jkr Cobbler.

Having performed respectably in the competitive Carlisle Bell last time, YAASER may be the answer granted a strongly run race.

16:45 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SUSTAINED made a winning debut over 7f here and can defy a penalty over this longer trip with his yard in top form at present. Lingfield third Thorntonledale Max failed to show any progress at Southwell last time, but Dashinwhitesargent has placed in a handicap at Epsom and rates a bigger threat. Captain Cisco made a winning introduction but that was back in 2022 and he debuts for a new trainer on his reappearance.

Preference is for DASHINWHITESARGENT, who took a first backward step after a further 8 weeks off at Goodwood last month, but Hughie Morrison's colt should be all the sharper for that outing. He can get the better of Sustained, who was value for extra when making a winning debut at this track recently and is open to improvement. Thorntonledale Max and Miss Dandylion can fight out minor honours.

Sustained did well to shrug off interference to make a winning debut here but in receipt of weight THORNTONLEDALE MAX is preferred.

16:50 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Chatty Chich has proved a different proposition since switching to handicap company and she successfully completed a double at Fakenham last time, but this requires more off 5lb higher. With that in mind, the vote goes to ASCENSION DAY, who finished just under four lengths clear of the third when runner-up over 2m here last month. The step back up in trip looks a good move. The seven-year-old can get his career up and running, while last-time-out winner Mactavish is another to watch out for.

While dropping back in trip may not be entirely ideal for CHATTY CHICH, she may well get away with it on this galloping track, with her recent successes at around 3m gained on sharper courses. She is certainly progressive and a 5 lb rise for her latest victory looks manageable. Ascension Day is second choice, while A Tickatickatiming, Emanate, recent C&D winner Mactavish and Robber's Bridge all appealing as live each-way candidates.

After going close over 2m in his first two handicaps, ASCENSION DAY can make his breakthrough over today's longer trip.

17:00 Roscommon Claiming Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Plenty of quirky characters in the line-up but KENDANCER is not one of them and Charles Byrnes' charge comes here in a consistent vein of form. The eight-year-old won back-to-back claiming hurdles at Limerick and Sligo and had a good run on the Flat a day after his latest hurdles victory. He's back up in trip here but that shouldn't be an issue. Broken Ice was picked up by John McConnell after chasing home the selection at Sligo. A winner over fences, that was his first run over the smaller obstacles for a couple of years and he can contend again. Dollar Value gave a bright display when second in a Downpatrick handicap, prior to finishing fourth over further at Bellewstown on Saturday, and he has to come into calculations.

GORDONS AURA ran poorly on the Flat last time but is favoured by the weights back in this sphere. The in-form Kendancer rates a big threat with top-weight Dollar Value best of the others.

On Flat form, POSTILEO is in a different league to this lot and he gets the vote despite disappointing in his two previous hurdles.

17:15 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It could pay to stick with last month's Hamilton winner THAKI, given he was scoring off a 4lb higher rating over course and distance last autumn. Atomise has been threatening a return to winning ways and placed again when runner-up at Carlisle, while Pembrokeshire found one too good over 7f at Musselburgh last week and can also figure. Eternal Sunshine won a classified stakes at Thirsk latest, but will find this tougher.

ATOMISE is on a long losing run but she's knocking on the door and, having stayed on well from further back than ideal at Carlisle last time, she gets the nod over last-time-out winners Thaki and Eternal Sunshine.

Thirsk winner ETERNAL SUNSHINE may have more to offer at this distance and is taken to follow up. Thaki is second choice.

17:20 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MISS SLIGO has done most of her winning at this lowly level, and a recent third at Lingfield suggests she will be returning to winning ways again soon. Eva Rosie has also placed in classified company lately, albeit over shorter distances, and she is attempting 1m4f for the first time. Letmebetheboss showed a modicum of improvement when dropped into this grade at Windsor and has scope for further progress.

LETMEBETHEBOSS shaped best when fourth at Windsor on his latest outing, forcing the pace before worn down approaching the final 1f, so he can build on that effort to open his account. The only 3-y-o in the line-up can see off the challenge of Endofastorm, who is respected as she drops in grade, with Eva Rosie also considered.

This is open but ENDOFASTORM can come on for her recent reappearance and has plenty going for her on her 2023 form.

17:25 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RYDER'S ROCK caught the eye when she got up for third over an extended 2m at Stratford on her latest outing and she goes off an unchanged mark. Joe Tizzard's mare sports first-time cheekpieces, which could eke out the improvement required to score. The main danger is Quick Of The Night, who produced a much better effort to finish third over track and trip last time, while Aviewofthestars is another to note.

It will be worth noting if VITANI is strong in the market, having dropped 4 lb in the weights since her latest start, which was in a Grade 3 Cheltenham handicap. She could be seen in an altogether different light now dropped in class on what will be just her third start for the Skelton yard. Karannelle has also edged down the weights and is one of several dangers, along with Pump It Up and Dreaming Diamond.

The most interesting one is VITANI, who will find this race much easier than the two valuable handicaps she contested in the spring.

17:35 Roscommon Maiden Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TELL ME THIS had jumping issues in point-to-points but has fared better in her two most recent outings under Rules. Placed in a bumper in March, the daughter of Ask made a promising start over hurdles when fifth in a competitive mares' maiden at Downpatrick last month. The third boosted the form at Cork on Friday and Ross O'Sullivan's charge should go well with improvement likely. Drumgill had Midweek Voices back in fourth when runner-up at Ballinrobe but has been well beaten twice since and the latter, second at Clonmel on his previous start, can reverse the form over this trip. A bumper winner at Kilbeggan last summer, Sage Conseil should progress after a respectable hurdling debut at Punchestown.

MIDWEEK VOICES arrives on the back of 2 good runs so makes the most appeal in a weak maiden. Drumgill is a big threat on the pick of his form, while bumper-winner Sage Conseil is open to improvement in this sphere.

There's no outstanding candidate in this modest maiden. MAJOR BARRY will go well if tapping back into the promise of his bumper form.

17:55 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MONSIEUR PATAT was having only his second outing for Adrian Wintle's yard when scoring at Hamilton in May. He remains on a winning handicap mark, despite a 6lb rise for that success, and can go in again. Mintana finished just in front of Sea The Buckthorn when third over course and distance latest and that pair can figure again, while Global Effort won over 6f here on his penultimate start but his previous attempts over this trip fail to inspire confidence.

HIGHFIELD HEIRESS rather stands out as an unexposed sort in this line-up and gets the nod under Oisin Murphy, with confidence in her chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Last-time-out Hamilton scorer Monsieur Patat is feared most ahead of Sea The Buckxthorn and Mintana, who are closely matched on recent C&D form.

An open race. MINTANA and Sea The Buckthorn were closers in a C&D handicap last week and they appeal as the solid options.

18:05 Roscommon Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Paddy Hanlon's claim could tip the scales in favour of PAHLAVI. In common with one of his chief dangers, Jeaniemacaroney, the selection will have his doubters, given that he's a pretty long standing maiden. However, this isn't an event dotted with 'win machines,' and those that have managed a victory have their own negatives attached. Pahlavi isn't without pace, as evidenced by some decent performances on the level at the start of his career. To that end the trip of just shy of 2m may be just right. Expect an always on the pace effort in a bid to maximise the Hanlon runner's experience advantage. Marcher Lord and Caman Eileen in particular, are interesting as they begin over jumps.

CAMAN EILEEN showed she's capable when fresh when winning easily on her bumper debut last summer and can make light of a 9-month absence and strike on hurdle debut. Jeaniemacaro is the obvious threat ahead of Shark Hanlon's Pahlavi.

There are dangers but JEANIEMACARONEY is a bit unfortunate to remain a maiden under both codes and this could be her day.

18:20 Ripon Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Violet Love sets a good standard but a double penalty for her previous wins puts her at a disadvantage in a race full of likely improvers and debutants. BRIGHT LILY and Little Lies appeal most from the rest with experience, with the former shading the vote after a highly-promising third over this trip on debut at Carlisle last month. Easy Peeler looks the pick of the newcomers.

The vote goes to newcomer MONTANA GIRL, who looks the part on paper and the hint should be taken if the market speaks in her favour. Fellow newcomer Flaine represents a yard that has saddled the winner of this race twice in recent years and she is second choice ahead of Bright Lily, who made an encouraging start to her career at Carlisle. Little Lies and Harvesting are both open to improvement, too, and need a second look.

Dual winner Violet Love has sound claims but she has a stiff task at the weights and the promising HARVESTING is just preferred.

18:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A classified stakes winner at Yarmouth last month, Porfin makes the shortlist after a near miss back in a 6f handicap here most recently. Still on a workable mark, Grace McEntee's mount can go well. However, the six-year-old is probably better over 6f and, with that in mind, C&D winner SOUTH DAKOTA SIOUX shades preference off 7lb below his last winning mark. Sir Titan and Desert Dream can also get involved.

PORFIN ran well for second over 6f here last week and is taken to go one better returned to 7f. South Dakota Sioux's latest Newcastle fourth shows he can make an impact from his reduced mark and he's second choice ahead of Sir Titan, who hasn't fired on turf the last twice but can fare better back on turf with Hollie Doyle doing the steering.

Porfin knows how to win and likes it here but SOUTH DAKOTA SIOUX shades it off a career-low mark back down from 1m.

18:38 Roscommon Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Successful in a bumper on this programme two years ago, ROCKSTOWN GIRL is taken to supplement Tipperary gains from May. There just seem to be less risks attached with Anthony McCann's mare, and it appeared a reasonable prediction when her trainer looked forward to a good campaign for the summer with the chestnut after the latest win. Rockstown Girl is closely matched on official ratings with several of her opponents. More can surely be expected from the current 116 assessed Flat-bred though, given that she was placed in a Grade 2 bumper. The pace she undoubtedly possesses can give one of the two mares in the field, the edge over If You Let Me and Le Coq Hardi.

ROCKSTOWN GIRL won comfortably at Tipperary at the start of the summer and can follow up with further improvement likely. Le Coq Hardi looks next best ahead of If You Let Me, although Willie Mullins newcomer Penny West would also have to enter the reckoning if the betting suggests she's fancied.

Most of these have questions to answer but ROCKSTOWN GIRL (nap) put up a career-best at Tipperary last time and can score again.

18:50 Ripon Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having shown consistency across her three previous starts, ROGUE STATE offers strong appeal. With the promise of more to come now that she tries a mile, the daughter of Lope De Vega has every chance of getting off the mark on just her second appearance for Bryan Smart. Safio's Princess and Path To Glory are others to consider if they attract significant interest on their debuts.

One of the newcomers may well prove equal to this task, with SIEVIER marginally preferred to Path To Glory. Both represent yard's more than capable of readying one first time out and the betting will be informative. Rogue Estate is the clear pick of those with experience and, should the newcomers not rise to the occasion, she will probably emerge on top.

Although more exposed than most of these ROGUE STATE has shown enough to suggest she can win a race like this.

19:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Barring a success from FLYING PANTHER in a classified event over an extended 1m1f here last month, recent winning form is so thin on the ground that James Owen's gelding is a logical choice to stamp his authority as topweight in a very ordinary handicap. Peachey Carnehan and Outreach, who sports first-time cheekpieces, are other strong contenders. While dropping in trip could be a source of improvement for We'renotreallyhere, who completes the shortlist.

WE'RENOTREALLYHERE hasn't run too badly the last twice and might be able to strike from an easing mark. Outreach hasn't been at the top of his game in recent starts but is nicely handicapped if first-time cheekpieces have a positive effect. Course-specialist Peachey Carnehan also makes the shortlist.

This is a minefield and there are worse ideas than to stick with the proven winner who likes it here, namely PEACHEY CARNEHAN.

19:10 Roscommon Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Tipperary form from just last week could be what counts here. AUSSIE WARRIOR, Someone's Wish and Spick And Span all competed behind Mary's Pride last Thursday, with the first-named doing best with a second place finish. He is taken to rubber-stamp his superiority and upstage all others now too. That would be to confirm a liking for this track as well, having given his trainer his first and only winner thus far, back here in June 2023. Horses for courses backers are not confined to Aussie Warrior, as previous Roscommon scorers Baltinglass Hill and Dark Image will justifiably feature on many shortlists. Second recently on Derby weekend at the Curragh, The Truant is likely to make a bold bid to defy top-weight.

Dual Flat winner SLAMADOOR stepped up on her previous efforts in this sphere when fifth in a big-field Listowel novice last month and, with the promise of better still now making her way down the handicap route in this sphere, she could be the answer. Verbal Sparring opened his account at Sligo recently and is feared most, with The Truant also high on the shortlist and Aussie Warrior is another with claims.

The mare MAGIC OLINGER is becoming expensive to follow but there were excuses when a beaten favourite last time. One more chance.

19:25 Ripon Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

After a brace of course and distance wins, Havana Prince is a strong contender despite the imposition of another 3lb rise in the handicap. The recent Beverley winner Makalu, who is also a C&D winner, is another key player. However, this can go to GARDEN OASIS, who has held his form well and the topweight should appreciate returning to this grade after a second at Carlisle last month.

There was much to like about the way MAKALU went about his business when scoring at Beverley last month and he looks capable of following up off this 4 lb higher mark. The selection may have most to fear from the hat-trick seeking Havana Prince, who is 2-2 over this C&D and remains on a plausible mark. Garden Oasis is something of a course specialist and should be on the premises.

Veteran GARDEN OASIS is taken to win his sixth race over C&D by beating dual C&D winner Havana Prince and the in-form Makalu.

19:35 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It would be easy to side with either of the two last-time-out winners Miss Calculation and Forgotten Treasure, but as neither have managed to win races back-to-back before, there are good reasons to take a chance elsewhere. Having landed a similar race on Tapeta at Newcastle in February, FANTASY NAVIGATOR appeals as the one to take up the mantle as the principal player in this modest company. Ustath and Fai Fai can also go well.

It could be worth chancing BIG IMPACT, who drops in class starting out for a new yard after 12 months off. There's not much to choose between most of these, with last-time-out winners Miss Calculation and Forgotten Treasure heading the dangers.

A swing in the weights may be enough for REVE DE MAGRITTE to reverse placings with Forgotten Treasure. Ustath can go well too.

19:45 Roscommon Handicap Hurdle 25f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Having done remarkably well to finish as close as he did when runner-up at Ballinrobe last time, EVANS SECRET can gain compensation here. Badly hampered by a faller early in the race, the Mark McNiff-trained gelding was keeping on strongly when again suffering interference at the final flight. Granted better luck in running, the five-year-old can register a first career success. Cosmic Blizzard has to be of interest on his return to hurdles. Although a beaten favourite over fences at Clonmel last time, he had earlier gone close when second at Limerick. Sam Curling's five-year-old can race off a 16lb lower mark over flights. Fourth on her handicap debut at Ballinrobe, the lightly raced Mini Getaway has scope for improvement.

EVANS SECRET finished well when second in first-time blinkers at Ballinrobe last time and, if the headgear continues to have a positive effect, he can go one better. Everystep Oftheway and Cloughroe could emerge as the main dangers.

Though poor over fences last time, COSMIC BLIZZARD is rated 16lb lower over hurdles and can take advantage to get off the mark

20:00 Ripon Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

High Opinion struck by just under a length to record a double at Catterick last time and he has a 5lb higher mark to contend with in a much tougher race. With that in mind, PADDY'S DAY looks the way to go after his second at Newcastle on his latest outing. The four-year-old looks well placed to get his head back in front. Albegone is another to note after his fifth at Thirsk.

HIGH OPINION was better than ever when scoring at Catterick last time and he's worth a chance to follow up at the possible expense of Paddy's Day, who also arrives in good order. Vadamiah could also feature if she's able to bounce back from a lesser effort.

In a tricky sprint handicap slight preference is for the well-drawn LEODIS DREAM, who was a good second over C&D two runs back.

20:10 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Evoluir put his poor form from last year well behind him when hitting the crossbar in this grade at Newcastle last time and he ought to go close off the same rating. However, the vote goes to WILLOWBANK, who made the frame over 7f at Lingfield last month and this drop in trip looks like a good move. Charlie Fellowes' filly was dropped 1lb for that effort and she could be the one to beat. Carmarthen isn't out of after her second at Ffos Las.

CARMARTHEN responded well to this headgear when going close at Ffos Las and shades the vote over Evoluir, who took a big step forward when runner-up at Newcastle on his AW debut/return 10 days ago. Amroon is another to consider with Oisin Murphy taking over.

The vote goes to EVOLUIR (nap) whose Newcastle effort can probably be upgraded a touch. Second choice is Carmarthen.

20:18 Roscommon NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A full-sister to a five-time winner over hurdles, HEY SUNSHINE catches the eye on racecourse debut. Although her sibling failed to win from four attempts in a bumper, the Willie Mullins-trained mare is likely to be more forward coming from this stable. With Jody Townend being one of the more experienced jockeys in the line-up, there is much to recommend the five-year-old. The highly consistent Amanha has been placed on four of her five starts to date. Runner-up on her latest two, the Dermot McLoughlin-trained mare will surely get her turn at some point. Former Flame kept on late when finishing second on her racecourse debut at Limerick in May. Liz Doyle's four-year-old should be all the better for that experience.

HEY SUNSHINE is related to a progressive hurdler and, with a top yard, she's worth a chance to make a successful start at the possible expense of Amanha, who has the best form of those with bumper experience. Our June is another interesting newcomer.

It could pay to stick with the experience of AMANHA, who has bumped into some decent rivals in her six bumper starts and can score now.

20:30 Ripon Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BARAFUNDLE BAY beat Kinetic (third) by over four lengths on her handicap debut in this grade at Windsor last time. The daughter of Dartmouth could have any amount of improvement to come and is difficult to oppose. Sea La Venus has only shown fair form in her three starts to date, but she could prove a different proposition on her handicap debut with Tom Marquand booked. Rubio De Oro is also noted.

SEA LA VENUS has showed a bit to date and is bred to be much better than a mark of 62, so she's worth a chance to make a successful handicap debut at the possible expense of Barafundle Bay, who opened her account in ready fashion at Windsor recently. Godsend likely has a bigger effort in him, so he's feared, too.

Barafundle Bay was a revelation when winning her handicap debut but SEA LA VENUS is interesting at this level for the first time.

20:40 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BLUEBELLS BOY was beaten a neck by Victors Dream in a classified event over an extended 5f at Brighton last month. That said, the son of Outstrip was a smooth victor at Yarmouth on his latest outing and he looks well placed to record a double. Restricted ran too bad to be true when seventh at Nottingham last time and, if he can reproduce his second two starts ago, he could have a say. Enchanted Night can be in the mix for the minor honours.

UNDER CURFEW might have found 3 relatively quick runs on heavy ground too much at Chepstow last time and is potentially on a good mark back on AW after a break. Victors Dream is next best having edged out re-opposing subsequent winner Bluebells Boy at Brighton 5 weeks ago.

Victors Dream is preferred to old rival Bluebells Boy but both are taken on with RESTRICTED, who has the toe to utilise stall 2.

21:00 Ripon Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Wichahpi continued her solid form when finishing second in this grade at Doncaster on her latest outing and she only has a 2lb higher mark to contend with. However, JESMOND DAWN looks the one to be on. The son of Dawn Approach appreciated the drop down in trip when beating a few of these at this level at Redcar last month. Grant Tuer's three-year-old looks to have lots going for him, while Socialise cannot be overlooked.

WICHAHPI did well to maintain her effort (made the running into a headwind) when second at Doncaster last time and she's unlikely to be seriously pressured for the lead here, so she's the one to side with. Jesmond Dawn was quite impressive on his first go at this trip last time, so he's the obvious threat, with Louella not ruled out.

Off the mark when dropped back to 6f at Redcar last time, JESMOND DAWN (nap) has a sound chance of following up despite a 6lb rise.
