12/1(-85%) | (2) Art Design 12/1, Twice-raced maiden. 9/1, sixth of 10 in minor event at Nottingham (5f, good) 11 days ago. Not out of things. Failed to build on debut third when only sixth at Nottingham but can still do better. |

80/1(-300%) | (5) Miss Cast 80/1, Twice-raced maiden. Seventh of 9 in minor event at Beverley (5f, good to firm, 50/1) 12 days ago. Looks one for handicaps down the line. More one for nurseries after this based on two starts so far.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||

50/1(-400%) | (7) Penelope Valentine 50/1, Twice-raced maiden. Fifth of 10 in maiden (5/1) at Lingfield (5f, good) 37 days ago, met some trouble. Back up in trip. Others preferred. Has hinted at ability in two starts but needs chunk of improvement plenty. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (100/1 -3900%) Ann Terry |
100/1(-3900%) | (1) Ann Terry 100/1, Promising type who posted fair third of 6 in maiden (12/1) at Ayr (6f, good to firm) on debut 10 days ago. Should be more to come. Promising debut third at Ayr (6f) ten days ago; leading claims with improvement likely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (100/1 -2903%) Neytiri Te Tskaha |
100/1(-2903%) | (6) Neytiri Te Tskaha 100/1, Once-raced maiden. 13/2, fourth of 9 in minor event at Beverley (5f, good to firm) on debut 12 days ago. Should improve and merits consideration. Promise amidst greenness when fourth on 5f debut; likely to progress for top yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (40/1 -100%) Martha Costello |
40/1(-100%) | (4) Martha Costello 40/1, Once-raced maiden. Seventh of 14 in minor event at this C&D (good, 16/1) on debut 14 days ago, hampered. Improvement required. Needs to leave form of recent C&D debut behind to get heavily involved. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (100/1 -203%) Shanti Shanti |
100/1(-203%) | (9) Shanti Shanti 100/1, Once-raced maiden. Seventh of 10 in minor event (25/1) at Ripon (6f, good) on debut 27 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Likely a longer-term prospect. Never involved on 6f Ripon debut four weeks ago; Ann Terry looks the stable's main hope. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (50/1 -525%) Saudi Expo |
50/1(-525%) | (8) Saudi Expo 50/1, Foaled April 30. 20,000 gns yearling, Without Parole filly. Half-sister to several winners, including useful winner up to 1m Rising Star and 1m winner Aquila Reale. Dam unraced. Market check advised on debut. Clifford Lee on top yard's other runner but this one still needs a betting check. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
ANN TERRY made a debut full of promise when chasing home a couple of useful colts at Ayr and natural improvement could be enough to see her break through. William Haggas must be feared when he sends one to Thirsk and his Art Design has shown more than enough to warrant an interest. Li Ban has experience on her side, while Neytiri Te Tskaha didn't get the rub of the green at Beverley and is capable of much better.
This can go to ANN TERRY, who made a pleasing start at Ayr earlier this month and should have learnt plenty from that experience. Neytiri Te Tskaha and Li Ban rate the principal dangers.
This may be best left to once-raced improvers ANN TERRY and Neytiri Te Tskaha, with preference for the former.

Hola Hermosa |
(5) (16/1 -129%)16/1(-129%) | (5) Hola Hermosa 16/1, Well backed on debut when offering up little but bit more like it both starts since, fifth at Worcester 16 days ago. Now goes hurdling. Has shown enough in bumpers to suggest she'll be competitive in this. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Molly Mischief |
(12) (20/1 +0%)20/1(+0%) | (12) Molly Mischief 20/1, Progressive in AW Flat handicaps this year, winning convincingly over 11f at Southwell in April. Possible testing ground was against her when pulled up on Southwell hurdle debut in May and she did show a bit more at Worcester 16 days ago. AW winner in April; bettered poor hurdle debut when fair fourth at Worcester this month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (3) (Evens +20%) Billams Legacy |
Evens(+20%) | (3) Billams Legacy Evens, Has just a bumper win to her name back in 2022 but hard to knock her consistency over hurdles, finishing runner-up for the seventh time in a row at Market Rasen last month. Back in maiden company and she sets the standard. Runner-up on her last seven hurdling starts and has a good chance at the weights here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (9/4 +10%) O'grady's Hill |
9/4(+10%) | (8) O'grady's Hill 9/4, Successful in a point in April and promise both starts under Rules so far, runner-up in a course bumper and occupied same spot at Market Rasen 10 days ago. Jumped fluently on that occasion and she's a major player. Irish point winner; runner-up on both rules starts (bumper/hurdle). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (13) (5/1 -25%) Value Added |
5/1(-25%) | (13) Value Added 5/1, Fairly useful performer at up to 1¼m on the Flat who showed some aptitude for hurdling when fifth of 12 in a 2m Stratford maiden in April. Too free to last out over 18.7f last time but better expected returned to 2m. Quite useful on the Flat and launched hurdling career with two fairly good runs last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (66/1 -32%) Macmolly |
66/1(-32%) | (6) Macmolly 66/1, In good hands but minor promise only in a brace of bumpers/maiden hurdle. Ran well to a point on hurdling debut in March but was well beaten in the end. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (400/1 -700%) Belleloise |
400/1(-700%) | (2) Belleloise 400/1, Showed little in bumpers and same story over hurdles, albeit last month's return at Bangor on the back of a breathing op wasn't totally devoid of promise. Back in trip. Remote when fourth in Bangor maiden last month; significant improvement required. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (80/1 -220%) Astro Babe |
80/1(-220%) | (1) Astro Babe 80/1, Half-sister to 3 winners but beat only one home in 2 bumpers in 2022 and little to get excited by over hurdles the following spring. Off since and she's left Evan Williams. Hood fitted. Third in modest Ffos Las maiden in May 2023; returns from long absence for new stable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (10) (450/1 -3650%) Voleur De Terres |
450/1(-3650%) | (10) Voleur De Terres 450/1, First foal, dam, ran twice in bumpers, half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3m) Justpourit. Dual winning Irish pointer, third of 4 last time (May 4). Consistent in Irish points since October (two wins); significant rain aids her cause. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Billams Legacy, runner-up on each of her last seven starts, is surely up to winning a race of this nature. However, the nine-year-old might have to play second fiddle again, this time to O'GRADY'S HILL, who looks set to improve having made a pleasing timber bow at Market Rasen recently. Hola Hermosa showed a certain degree of promise in bumpers and she ought to relish the switch to hurdling.
A sharp 2m is probably what VALUE ADDED needs over hurdles and given her Flat form, she's very dangerous in receipt of weight from most. Billams Legacy arrives on the back of a septet of runner-up efforts and there's a fair chance she will continue the sequence, with O'Grady's Hill another to note.
After a run of seven consecutive seconds, this looks a good opportunity for BILLAMS LEGACY to get a much deserved hurdle win.

1st (2) (4/1 +20%) Bustaam |
4/1(+20%) | (2) Bustaam 4/1, Made winning return in mud at Doncaster (10.2f) in March and back to that sort of form when third of 5 in handicap (6/1) at Carlisle (11.2f, good to soft) 6 days ago. Enters calculations. Soft-ground winner over 1m4f in March; best recent effort when third at Carlisle last week. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (11/4 -46%) Rogue Tornado |
11/4(-46%) | (1) Rogue Tornado 11/4, Made successful debut for James Owen at Leicester (11.8f) in May and backed that up with good third of 7 in handicap at Doncaster (14.5f, good to firm, 5/2) 46 days ago. Another bold bid is on the cards. Solid start for new yard, including a 1m4f win; should go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (16/1 -14%) Kingsley Pride |
16/1(-14%) | (7) Kingsley Pride 16/1, Ungenuine type. 15/2, ninth of 11 in handicap at Carlisle (11.2f, good). Off 10 months. Bit to prove on return. Leading stable has persevered with this ten-race maiden but he's been off for 320 days. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (28/1 -75%) Arctic Fox |
28/1(-75%) | (6) Arctic Fox 28/1, Last of 5 in handicap (14/1) at Haydock (11.6f, good) 13 days ago. Work to do on current form. Two Haydock wins in 2022 but last of five there only 13 days ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (20/1 -208%) Fearless Bay |
20/1(-208%) | (4) Fearless Bay 20/1, 10/1, respectable fourth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (12.2f) 16 days ago. Can make presence felt. Has shown he retains plenty of ability on AW since returning from absence; not discounted. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (16/1 -751%) Genesius |
16/1(-751%) | (3) Genesius 16/1, Model of consistency following success over C&D (off 1 lb lower) last summer and he's returned in good heart, latest when creditable second of 4 at Ripon (12.1f, good) 4 weeks ago. Shortlisted. C&D win (soft) last June; placed several times since; bold show likely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (100/1 -614%) Powerful Response |
100/1(-614%) | (8) Powerful Response 100/1, Latest win at Nottingham in April. Sixth of 9 in handicap at Haydock (11.8f, good to soft, 17/2) 53 days ago. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals. 1m2f winner this spring but not so good over this trip last twice.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (250/1 -279%) Sir Jock Bennett |
250/1(-279%) | (5) Sir Jock Bennett 250/1, 80/1, first run since leaving Charlie Johnston when last of 14 in handicap at Newcastle (12.4f) 18 days ago. Hard to fancy. 1m2f winner for Charlie Johnston but tailed off on recent return for new yard. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
There would be no more deserving winner than Genesius, but he may have to settle for yet another supporting role because ROGUE TORNADO was beaten just half a length into third when attempting to supplement a Leicester triumph at Doncaster and is open to plenty more improvement. There was a bit more to like about Bustaam's Carlisle third last week and he rounds out the shortlist.
The return to slower conditions should suit C&D winner GENESIUS, and he can get back on the scoreboard here. Rogue Tornado and Bustaam are feared most.
The consistent GENESIUS can deservedly get his head back in front returned to the scene of his win last summer.

1st (2) (9/4 +36%) Nad Alshiba Green |
9/4(+36%) | (2) Nad Alshiba Green 9/4, Thrice-raced maiden. Eighth of 9 in maiden at Haydock (6f, good, 14/1) 13 days ago. Makes handicap debut. The booking of Oisin Murphy takes the eye. Best form at 5f on debut; non-stayer at 6f since; considered back at 5f on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (10) (18/1 -29%) Piranha Rama |
18/1(-29%) | (10) Piranha Rama 18/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Sixth of 10 in seller (80/1) at Leicester (6f, good) 11 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Needs to raise her game. Some improvement in 6f seller latest; return to 5f can suit at this level for first time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (25/1 -355%) Cheerleader |
25/1(-355%) | (9) Cheerleader 25/1, From a powerful yard but has yet to show much, weakening into sixth of 8 in claimer (10/1) at Beverley (5f, soft) 49 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Minor promise; wind op since last seen; yard 28% with 2yos on turf in 2024; handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (11/1 -450%) Stat Goddess |
11/1(-450%) | (1) Stat Goddess 11/1, Good 1½ lengths second of 6 to Wondrous Ways in nursery (9/2) at Catterick (5f, good to soft) 7 days ago. Not taken lightly off the same mark. Suited by 5f on soft; creditable 2nd on handicap debut last week; claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (200/1 -506%) Bright Era |
200/1(-506%) | (8) Bright Era 200/1, Poor form to date. Needs improvement. Not beaten too far in 5f seller in June; still has something to find on handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (3) (20/1 -150%) Premium Pass |
20/1(-150%) | (3) Premium Pass 20/1, Yet to build on Brighton debut third but in good hands and more of a chance now switching to a nursery. Promise at 6f; finished remote over 5f latest but better expected now handicapping. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (5) (20/1 -264%) Fregola |
20/1(-264%) | (5) Fregola 20/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 25/1, seventh of 8 in C&D novice (good) 32 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Shown ability over 5f on last two starts and likely to achieve more now handicapping. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (25/1 -213%) Sienna Gold |
25/1(-213%) | (7) Sienna Gold 25/1, Modest form at best in 4 starts but nurseries provide her with a more realistic chance. Shaped quite nicely on second start; handicaps likely to have been the aim all along. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (350/1 -1300%) Marrakesh Dawn |
350/1(-1300%) | (6) Marrakesh Dawn 350/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 150/1, last of 16 in maiden at Nottingham (6f, good to firm) 20 days ago, badly hampered. Plenty of improvement needed. Glimmer of promise over 7f on AW; hard to predict ideal trip; handicaps offer options. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Stat Goddess hit the woodwork on her nursery debut last week and she needs to be respected from an unchanged mark, but it is FREGOLA who shades preference. The daughter of Havana Gold contested a warm novice at Newmarket on her debut and although it is hard to argue that she has progressed since, this handicap bow will present a more suitable opportunity. The booking of Oisin Murphy aboard Nad Alshiba Green catches the eye and she is another to consider.
STAT GODDESS made a good start in nurseries at Catterick last week and gets the vote. The booking of Oisin Murphy for Nad Alshiba Green takes the eye and she's of firm interest. Sienna Gold is another who can do better now handicapping and might be in the hunt.
Several of these are worth a look but perhaps CHEERLEADER can show the benefit of wind surgery on her handicap debut.

Dorset Lady |
(2) (25/1 +50%)25/1(+50%) | (2) Dorset Lady 25/1, Modest bumper performer in Ireland who made the frame once from 3 starts in maidens on the Flat. Yet to fire over hurdles for this yard, however. Strong claims if judged on best bumper/Flat form but a pulled-up 50-1 shot in both hurdles. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (5) (11/1 +56%) Leave Her To Me |
11/1(+56%) | (5) Leave Her To Me 11/1, Successful on second start in bumpers in August 2022. Seen only twice subsequently, possibly in need of the run after 14 months off making yard/hurdles debut when well held eighth at Bangor (19.5f) 19 days ago. This promises to reveal more. Bumper winner in 2022 but absent for a long time before underwhelming hurdle debut in June. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (13) (5/2 -11%) Moonscape Girl |
5/2(-11%) | (13) Moonscape Girl 5/2, Left her first 2 efforts behind when springing an 80/1 surprise in Southwell bumper for Paul Webber in May. Not seen to best effect when third on yard/hurdles debut at Worcester (2m) 16 days ago having been set plenty to do and she's likely to improve. Bumper winner; promising third on stable/hurdle debut at Worcester this month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (33/1 +0%) Masked Artist |
33/1(+0%) | (7) Masked Artist 33/1, Placed once from 3 starts in Irish points but pulled up in novice at Cartmel (22.1f, good to soft, 33/1) on NH debut 53 days ago. Tongue strap goes on for 1st time. Pulled up when 33-1 for rules debut in May; drops back from 2m6f today; tongue-tie added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (50/1 -525%) Lady Showtime |
50/1(-525%) | (4) Lady Showtime 50/1, Hinted at ability on second of 2 starts in bumpers and took a step forward from his hurdling debut when third of 10 in mares' maiden at Bangor (19.5f) 19 days ago. Possible she could do better again. Belied 150-1 odds when placed at Bangor last month and has each-way claims again here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (12) (150/1 -500%) Miss Mink |
150/1(-500%) | (12) Miss Mink 150/1, Passing Glance filly. Unplaced in pair of bumpers during the winter and she never went with much short-term encouragement after 7 months off when fifth of 11 in mares' maiden hurdle at Bangor (19.6f, good) on hurdles bow 19 days ago. Best watched. Beaten about 60l when fifth on last month's hurdling debut at Bangor. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (10) (350/1 -23233%) Walk Of The Roses |
350/1(-23233%) | (10) Walk Of The Roses 350/1, Fair bumper winner who offered something to work on sent hurdling after nearly a year off when second of 7 in a Newton Abbot novice (16.8f, soft) in May. Not in same form when third at Bangor (19.5f) 3 weeks ago but she needs considering dropping back in trip. Placed on both hurdling starts and seems versatile regarding ground; leading contender. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (350/1 -11567%) Cornamona |
350/1(-11567%) | (1) Cornamona 350/1, Irish point winner who possibly needed the run when third only start in bumpers for Nicky Henderson back in March 2023. Absent/changed hands since and the betting could prove a useful guide as to expectations now hurdling. Irish point winner in 2022; well-held third in bumper in 2023; makes stable/hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (350/1 -1300%) Tell Me Why |
350/1(-1300%) | (9) Tell Me Why 350/1, €4,000 3-y-o, Malinas mare. Dam maiden pointer. Made frame on last of 3 starts in Irish points (May 25). Goes hurdling now in what rates a pretty ordinary affair so worth noting if the market speaks in her favour. Displayed only minor promise in her three Irish points this spring; rules debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (6) (300/1 -1100%) Marco's Light |
300/1(-1100%) | (6) Marco's Light 300/1, Champs Elysees mare. Green when down the field only start in bumpers and struggling some way out when pulled up in mares' maiden hurdle at Bangor (19.5f) 3 weeks ago. In good hands but she needs to step up a good deal to feature. Struggled to get competitive on last month's hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (350/1 -250%) I Spy A Rainbow |
350/1(-250%) | (3) I Spy A Rainbow 350/1, Telescope mare who is bred for longer trips and she offered little when thirteenth of 14 on hurdles debut at Bangor (16.6f) in June. Had wind op subsequently and she's best watched. 200-1, displayed only a glimmer of promise before weakening tamely on last month's debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
MOONSCAPE GIRL (third) was no match for an impressive winner at Worcester, but she finished within a neck of the runner-up and looks a big player on that evidence. That was her stable/hurdles bow, too, so improvement is likely and this is not the deepest of contests. Walk Of The Roses has shown more than enough recently to suggest she can play a leading role, while Lady Showtime and the returning Cornamona are also considered.
Runner-up on hurdles debut at Newton Abbot, WALK OF THE ROSES was possibly stretched by the longer trip when third at Bangor on her latest outing 19 days ago but she went with plenty of zest for a long way then and earns the vote with the return to this shorter trip a plus. Moonscape Girl promises to do better for Olly Murphy and is feared. Cornamona is another to keep an eye on.
The pick is WALK OF THE ROSES, who was placed on her first two hurdling starts and ought to cope with the soft ground.

80/1(-300%) | (8) Obligatory 80/1, Blinkered for 1st time, 13¼ lengths last of 10 to Ingleby Archie in handicap at Redcar (5f, good to firm, 28/1) 26 days ago. Still looking for first success. Eight-race maiden; not progressing and well behind Ingleby Archie last time. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
GLORY HYDE proved her 20/1 C&D victory was no fluke when sharing second at Pontefract and she appears capable of taking another step forward off the same mark. Ingleby Archie has been raised 3lb for his breakthrough success at Redcar, but must still be feared. Scoops Ahoy and Keldeo shouldn't be too far away, nor should Stash The Cash provided he settles a bit better.
It could be worth staying with INGLEBY ARCHIE now he has found the winning habit. He remains on a workable mark. Scoops Ahoy and Stash The Cash can also make their presence felt.
Scoops Ahoy (second choice) and Ingleby Archie are feared but GLORY HYDE looks on an upward trajectory and can win again.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Nala Star will need to break alertly if she's to overcome her wide draw and, although respected, TWILIGHT BALLET is preferred. Andrew Balding's colt finished a narrow second at Lingfield last time out and any further improvement can see him go one better. Rage Of Thunder was far from disgraced on his debut at Sandown last month and it would come as no surprise were he to step forward.
TWILIGHT BALLET holds the best form so is fancied to go one better than his recent Lingfield second and get off the mark. Rage of Thunder appeals as the one to chase home Andrew Balding's Twilight Son colt if, as expected, building on his debut Sandown seventh. Nala Star also has the form to play a part, while Richard Hannon's newcomer Halfeti is worth a second look too, especially if the market speaks in her favour.
Rage Of Thunder should improve but preference is for TWILIGHT BALLET who made a race of it with a useful one at Lingfield last time.

400/1(-506%) | (10) Gaazooo 400/1, Poor maiden on Flat, including well held in Beverley seller on recent reappearance. Also poor form over hurdles last summer. First-time cheekpieces (replacing hood) need to make a big difference. Soundly beaten in a Flat seller at Beverley (8.5f; 200-1) recently; impossible to fancy.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
HUIT REFLETS was able to record a breakthrough success at Hexham last month having posted a series of creditable efforts prior and, from just 1lb higher, this is an excellent opportunity for him to follow up. Clean Getaway has been in good form over the larger obstacles recently and is interesting returned to hurdles off a lower rating. Milajess could find more for the addition of first-time blinkers.
INIGO can't be one for maximum faith after falling on his last 2 starts but leaves the impression he has the ability to win off this mark if he can eliminate the mistakes. Phil Kirby's Clean Getaway will be a threat if able to translate recent chase improvement back to the smaller obstacles. Last month's C&D second Milajess and Hexham scorer Huit Reflets complete the shortlist.
Having been in fine fettle over fences, CLEAN GETAWAY (nap) is undeniably well treated on his return to the smaller obstacles.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
GERMANIC left a mediocre debut effort behind him when beating a previous winner by 11 lengths over 7f at Newcastle last month, and the son of Saxon Warrior should be very tough to stop with a reproduction of that. Fellow last-time-out winner Bobby Bennu also created a favourable impression at Chester and he can give the selection most to think about. Ten Pounds is also noteworthy.
GERMANIC looked a smart prospect when scoring at Newcastle last month and is taken to follow up. Ten Pounds and Bobby Bennu also arrive on an upward curve and are the obvious dangers.
Top of the list is GERMANIC, who easily made all at Newcastle, and he earns the vote ahead of Ten Pounds then Bobby Bennu.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
SISTERS IN THE SKY returned to winning ways with a comfortable C&D triumph a fortnight ago, defeating the reopposing Second Collection. Given that Grace Harris' charge remains competitively handicapped from a 4lb raised mark, he could go in again if arriving in a similar vein of form. Recent Wolverhampton scorer Carmarthen can get involved under the penalty, while others to note include Twayblade and Outer Edge.
Plenty with chances but FIRENZE ROSA still looks ahead of her mark under a 4 lb penalty for her impressive Brighton success so edges the vote. Ffos Las runner-up Twayblade appeals as the one to give the veteran mare most to do ahead of Carmarthen, Savannah Smiles and Second Collection.
A competitive sprint in which VAUNTED can reverse recent C&D placings with Second Collection and Sisters In The Sky.

8/1(+11%) | (3) Striking Out 8/1, Inconsistent type who often jumps poorly but a winning pointer (fourth last time, Jun 2) and returns to Rules with yard among winners. This test should suit. One to consider. Unsuccessful in points since finishing a distant third at Sedgefield (2m5f) last November.. |

3rd (5) (14/1 -300%) Barrakhov |
14/1(-300%) | (5) Barrakhov 14/1, Career best when winning 9-runner handicap chase at this course (24f, good to soft, 9/4) 32 days ago by ½ length from Jean Genie, driven out. Could do better still in this sphere and is likely to be thereabouts. Deservedly off the mark over fences here (3m; beating Jean Genie) last month; 5lb higher.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (17/2 -70%) Jean Genie |
17/2(-70%) | (2) Jean Genie 17/2, 18/1, ½-length second of 9 to Barrakhov in handicap chase at this course (24f, good to soft) 32 days ago, sticking to task. Not sure to be in the same mood. Runner-up to Barrakhov over 3m here (good) last month; raised 4lb (1lb better off) since.. |

5th (1) (250/1 -3233%) Kapamazov |
250/1(-3233%) | (1) Kapamazov 250/1, Creditable third of 9 in handicap hurdle (13/2) at Market Rasen (23.1f, good) 33 days ago. Arrives in form and appeals as the type to take to this discipline as an ex-pointer, so he's worthy of respect. Respectable over hurdles since stepping up in trip; rules chasing debut at realistic level. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (10) (350/1 -4275%) Via Dante |
350/1(-4275%) | (10) Via Dante 350/1, Little impact in varied events over hurdles but better over fences and returned to form when runner-up at Fakenham 107 days ago. Can make his presence felt again. Fell with the race at his mercy at Newton Abbot (3m2f) last spring; mostly laboured since.. |

400/1(-1900%) | (8) Scalloway Castle 400/1, No show in a couple of bumpers/3 starts over hurdles to date. Failed to make an impact on chasing debut at Newton Abbot, so others look more persuasive. Failed to progress for switch to fences at Newton Abbot (3m2f); isn't dismissed just yet.. |

9th (11) (200/1 -1567%) Dr Lockdown |
200/1(-1567%) | (11) Dr Lockdown 200/1, Modest maiden hurdler who hasn't been in much form but is worthy of a market check switched to fences after a break. PU when heavily supported here (hurdle) in May; tough to know how he'll fare over fences.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (16) (400/1 -900%) Milton Boy |
400/1(-900%) | (16) Milton Boy 400/1, Yet to show any ability, including on chase debut in handicap at Fontwell last month. Easily passed over. Seven-race maiden; fifth of seven on chasing debut at Fontwell (2m3f, good; beaten 27l).. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Barrakhov gained a first success over the larger obstacles here last month when getting the better of JEAN GENIE over 3m by half a length. However, a 1lb swing in the favour of the latter, combined with an extra couple of furlongs, might see him reverse the placings. Miss Wachit wasn't beaten far on her first start after wind surgery when fourth at Market Rasen and she may step forward from that effort, especially with the application of cheekpieces for the first time.
An open-looking handicap chase in which it might pay to take a chance on INVICTUS ALLEN. He was out of form when last seen but returns on a lenient mark with his stable in red-hot form. Last-time-out winner Barrakhov is an obvious danger along with He'llstopatthetop.
It could pay to take a chance on the chasing prowess of KAPAMAZOV, who has been in reasonable form over hurdles since late May.

10/1(-43%) | (4) Abruzzo Mia 10/1, Latest win at Newcastle in March. Bit below form sixth of 11 in handicap (9/2) at Doncaster (8f, good to soft) 31 days ago. Not taken lightly. The return to 7f could prove ideal for one who went close off this mark on AW in spring. |

2nd (12) (40/1 -150%) Platinum Girl |
40/1(-150%) | (12) Platinum Girl 40/1, Dual winner (at up to 7f) last term and far from disgraced when fourth of 7 in handicap over C&D when last seen 10 months ago. Returns on a workable mark. Dual 7f winner last year; off ten months but ran well on 2023 reappearance. |

5th (6) (20/1 -100%) Orbital Chime |
20/1(-100%) | (6) Orbital Chime 20/1, 40/1, respectable sixth of 11 in handicap at Haydock (7f, good to firm) 12 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter. Lightly raced in recent years but Haydock reappearance suggests he retains his ability. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (11/1 -83%) On A Session |
11/1(-83%) | (2) On A Session 11/1, Not scored since April of last year but dropped to a handy mark and has run with credit in recent starts, latest when sixth of 17 in handicap at Carlisle (7.8f, good to firm, 16/1) 21 days ago. Slower ground will suit and he is one for the shortlist. No win for a while but recent efforts creditable; prominent showing likely. |

7th (9) (28/1 -56%) Another Baar |
28/1(-56%) | (9) Another Baar 28/1, Eleven runs since last win in 2023. Last of 10 in handicap (16/1) at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Yet to trouble the judge this term. Shaped well when fifth on penultimate outing but down the field either side of it. |

66/1(-915%) | (5) Animate 66/1, Bounced back to form when taking 9-runner handicap (12/1) at Catterick (6f, good to soft) 29 days ago, suited by way race developed. Just 2 lb higher now and must enter calculations. Back to form for new yard at Catterick latest and remains well treated on old form. |

12th (8) (100/1 -400%) Magical Max |
100/1(-400%) | (8) Magical Max 100/1, Course winner. Last of 18 in handicap at York (7f, good, 20/1) 53 days ago, reportedly bled. Likely best watched for now. Reportedly bled when eased and tailed off on York reappearance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Vince Le Prince took advantage of a tumbling mark to score gamely over 7f at Leicester earlier this month, and he must enter calculations in a race of this nature. Preference is for ANIMATE. He wasn't unsupported in the market when bouncing back to form over 6f at Catterick last month and a 2lb rise may prove lenient given that plenty went wrong for him in the run. Abruzzo Mia and Challet are a couple of others to consider.
Preference is for ON A SESSION, who has been cut some slack by the handicapper and should have conditions to suit. Vince Le Prince and Animate head the list of dangers.
A losing streak of 16 hardly makes ON A SESSION a strong selection but he's generally plied his trade in higher grades than this.

1st (3) (9/2 +18%) Media Guest |
9/2(+18%) | (3) Media Guest 9/2, Thirty-one runs since his only win back in 2021 but filled runners-up spot on 3 of his last 4 starts, including here (5f) on penultimate start in June. Not at best when fifth of 8 in handicap at Salisbury (6f) 4 days ago but worth a second look turned out quickly. Hard to win with but he's generally been in good form all summer; each-way contender again. |

2nd (6) (11/2 -38%) Foreseeable Future |
11/2(-38%) | (6) Foreseeable Future 11/2, Thirteen runs since last win in 2023. Respectable fifth of 11 in handicap at Thirsk (6f, good, 11/2) 14 days ago. Refitting of a visor a positive and he's well worth considering from a very attractive mark. Yet to strike this year but he lurks on a dangerous mark; each-way claims at least. |

3rd (7) (4/1 +43%) Malham Tarn Cove |
4/1(+43%) | (7) Malham Tarn Cove 4/1, Returned in good form, building on his reappearance second when landing 10-runner C&D handicap in May. Below best when sixth of 9 in handicap at Carlisle (5.8f, soft) 30 days ago but not one to write off, particularly back here. C&D win in May but less good at Carlisle latest; no surprise to see him bounce back. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (12/1 -100%) Nordic Glory |
12/1(-100%) | (4) Nordic Glory 12/1, Twelve runs since last win in 2023. 8/1, creditable second of 5 in handicap at Lingfield (5f, good to firm) 15 days ago. One to bear in mind having eased a little in the weights. 0-11 on turf and although he ran well enough last time, others have more obvious claims. |

5th (5) (33/1 -371%) Oriental Spirit |
33/1(-371%) | (5) Oriental Spirit 33/1, Fourteen runs since last win in 2022. 4/1, not disgraced when fifth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 16 days ago, keeping on without looking entirely straightforward. Expensive to follow in recent seasons but he's run well on AW twice this summer; e-w shout. |

6th (9) (350/1 -2400%) Daley T |
350/1(-2400%) | (9) Daley T 350/1, 10/1, fifth of 7 in minor event at this course (5f, good to firm) 14 days ago, outpaced 2f out and plugging on. May be sharper with that run under his belt and he lines up here operating from a career-low mark. Exposed maiden who didn't look straightforward here two weeks ago; others safer. |

7th (12) (150/1 -1400%) Glamorous Joy |
150/1(-1400%) | (12) Glamorous Joy 150/1, Excellent second of 7 in minor event at this course (5f, good to firm, 10/1) 14 days ago, hanging left final 1f but keeping on. Has far fewer miles on the clock than majority here and not discounted returned to handicaps. Improving with experience and just missed out over 5f here two weeks ago; contender. |

8th (1) (200/1 -2757%) Revolucion |
200/1(-2757%) | (1) Revolucion 200/1, One win from 28 Flat runs. First run since leaving Joseph Parr when sixth of 9 in handicap (14/1) at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 16 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Others more persuasive. Low-key stable debut 16 days ago but Oisin Murphy an eyecatching booking. |

9th (8) (350/1 -1300%) Savalas |
350/1(-1300%) | (8) Savalas 350/1, C&D winner. 16/1, sixth of 7 in handicap at Chepstow (5.1f, good to firm) 23 days ago, effort over 2f out and making no impression. Others make greater appeal at present. C&D winner; yet to fire this year but down in the weights and needs a market check. |

10th (10) (350/1 -1650%) Midnight Flame |
350/1(-1650%) | (10) Midnight Flame 350/1, Remains a maiden after 20 Flat runs. 8/1, ninth of 13 in minor event at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 9 days ago. 20-race maiden who hasn't been at her best the last twice; opposable for win purposes. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (11) (100/1 -900%) Princess Naomi |
100/1(-900%) | (11) Princess Naomi 100/1, C&D winner. Twelve runs since last win in 2023. Sixth of 9 in minor event (12/1) at Leicester (7f, good) 32 days ago. Has yet to threaten this season but application of first-time blinkers could help from much-reduced mark. C&D winner; struggling for form this year and connections now reach for blinkers. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (2) (200/1 -1150%) Lady Nagin |
200/1(-1150%) | (2) Lady Nagin 200/1, Latest win at Lingfield in May. 28/1, sixth of 8 in handicap back at that venue (6f, AW) 8 days ago. Others more persuasive returned to turf. 5f AW winner in May; yet to show much in three runs on turf; opposable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (13) (300/1 -1775%) Oak Allye |
300/1(-1775%) | (13) Oak Allye 300/1, 8/1, sixth of 9 in handicap at Brighton (7f, good) 29 days ago. Visor on 1st time. Needs a couple of these to falter. Ten-race maiden; two runs for new yard unconvincing; now tried in a visor. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
MEDIA GUEST has posted some respectable recent form and, given he wasn't beaten far in a competitive apprentice handicap at Salisbury last weekend, the Mark Gillard-trained gelding is worth another try off the same mark in what is effectively a weaker race. Nordic Glory is 0-11 on turf but is not dismissed after a solid effort at Lingfield, while Foreseeable Future also appeals from 11lb below his last winning mark.
FORESEEABLE FUTURE shaped well having his made his challenge on the opposite flank when fifth at Thirsk 2 weeks ago and, with the visor refitted, Ruth Carr's charge could be ready to strike having fallen to an attractive mark. Media Guest, Oriental Spirit and Nordic Glory head up the dangers, with Princess Naomi also worth keeping an eye on now the blinkers are applied.
Foreseeable Future and MALHAM TARN COVE may be the pair to focus on and the latter is marginally preferred.

(3) (6/4 -36%)6/4(-36%) | (3) Dog Fox 6/4, Fairly useful 1¼m Flat winner for Ed Dunlop and he got off the mark in this sphere in 10-runner handicap hurdle at Bangor (16.7f, good) 19 days ago. Up 7 lb but he travelled strongly there so is a player once more. Settled better for Bangor win latest (2m1f, good; RPR 103); open to further improvement. |

I Still Have Faith |
(6) (9/4 +25%)9/4(+25%) | (6) I Still Have Faith 9/4, A fairly useful multiple Flat scorer who was a smooth winner on his Wetherby hurdle debut last October. 1st (2) (7/2 +50%) Allbetsoff |
7/2(+50%) | (2) Allbetsoff 7/2, Notched 3 wins in the first half of last season and resumed winning ways in 2m Hexham handicap in June. Only sixth in handicap at Cartmel (17.2f, good) 19 days ago but he's the sort to bounce back. Wins run the gamut from good to heavy ground; yet to lower today's mark in a handicap. |

2nd (1) (11/4 +54%) Made For You |
11/4(+54%) | (1) Made For You 11/4, Winless since 2022 but he posted a good second of 8 in handicap hurdle at Bangor (19.6f, good) 19 days ago. Ought to be in the shake-up off the same mark. Temptingly handicapped, but outpaced on each of last season's drops back to this 2m trip. |

9/2(+68%) | (5) Jack The Savage 9/2, Creditable fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (16f, good to soft) 34 days ago. Can give a good account kept to this sphere. Gently regressive RPRs since May's fair second; handicapper at least easing off again. |

4th (4) (20/1 +39%) Coral Blue |
20/1(+39%) | (4) Coral Blue 20/1, A three-time winner in 2022/23 but failed to fire all 3 starts last term. On the plus side, his mark continues to ease and a tongue tie is back on so he's no forlorn hope. None of the trip, absence and form when last seen speak in his favour; passed over. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (80/1 -700%) Chef De Troupe |
80/1(-700%) | (7) Chef De Troupe 80/1, C&D winner in May but he unseated his rider early back here 8 days ago. Sort to get back on track quickly. C&D winner off 9lb lower in May (soft) but mistakes both starts since; no ground issues. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
Dog Fox struck at Bangor in a comfortable manner and is expected to have more to offer. Chef De Troupe unseated here last week, but had been in fine fettle in two previous outings at this track and is capable of bouncing back. The vote, though, goes to I STILL HAVE FAITH, whose last run over hurdles saw him being outclassed by Burdett Road in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham in November. Open to improvement over timber, Ben Brookhouse's gelding could take advantage on his handicap debut in this sphere.
DOG FOX impressed with how he went through the race when scoring at Bangor last time so is fancied to make light of a 7 lb rise. I Still Have Faith returns to this sphere on a lenient mark so could emerge as the main danger, although Made For You and Jack The Savage also need factoring into this competitive handicap.
This is rather easier than the Grade 2 of I STILL HAVE FAITH's last hurdles start, and he can account for Bangor winner Dog Fox.

11/2(-22%) | (7) Roberto Caro 11/2, Lightly-raced winner. Fourth of 5 in handicap at Carlisle (7.8f, good to soft, 10/3) 47 days ago, weakening final 1f. Drops back markedly in trip now starting out for new yard and interesting if the market speaks in his favour with Tom Marquand aboard. Well beaten last time but promise previously and this 3yo could be suited by sprinting. |

14/1(-75%) | (10) Impressor 14/1, Bit below form fourth of 8 in handicap (3/1) at Hamilton (5f, good) 4 days ago. Others more persuasive. Only fourth on Saturday but runner-up at Ripon two starts ago and he's not ruled out. |

17/2(-42%) | (2) Fortamour 17/2, Resumed winning ways at Ripon (6f, heavy) in April and posted creditable in-the-frame efforts both starts since, third of 9 in handicap back at that venue 6 weeks ago, despite being off the bridle some way out. Claims of being in the mix again. In fine form at favourite course Ripon on last few starts; runs at Thirsk for first time. |

40/1(-515%) | (9) Lord Abama 40/1, Landed back-to-back C&D handicaps with blinkers enlisted prior to finishing a good fourth of 9 in handicap at Ayr (6f) 25 days ago. Possibilities again in this groove. Two C&D wins in these blinkers this season and can make another bold bid. |

5th (4) (7/1 +18%) Cold Stare |
7/1(+18%) | (4) Cold Stare 7/1, Latest win over C&D in April and returned to that sort of form when runner-up at Hamilton (6f, soft) in May. Exploits mixed in couple of starts subsequently but better showing not ruled out. Up and down this season, and below par last Saturday, but won over C&D (soft) in April. |

6th (11) (66/1 -230%) Havana Pursuit |
66/1(-230%) | (11) Havana Pursuit 66/1, Dual winner as a 3-y-o and stepped up on his comeback run when fifth of 9 in handicap (18/1) at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Return to forecast easier ground in his favour here and he's operating from last winning mark. Fair fifth last time; a bigger run could be forthcoming now back on a slow surface. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (50/1 -400%) Roach Power |
50/1(-400%) | (3) Roach Power 50/1, Ended 2023 on the up with victories here (7f) and Haydock but has yet to scale same heights in handful of starts since the spring, well held fourteenth of 20 in handicap at York (6f, soft) 32 days ago. Has fallen to last winning mark at least. Won final two runs last season but has struggled on his four runs this year. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (1) (66/1 -560%) It Just Takes Time |
66/1(-560%) | (1) It Just Takes Time 66/1, Won twice off higher marks last term (including over C&D) and positive start to present campaign when second in a big-field Doncaster handicap (6f, soft) in April. However, he's been well below his best in handicaps at Newcastle/York since. Needs to get back on track. Disappointing the last twice but he's won on his last two visits to Thirsk. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (100/1 -525%) William Dewhirst |
100/1(-525%) | (5) William Dewhirst 100/1, C&D winner who went backwards from his reappearance when last of 9 in handicap at Ayr (7.2f, good) in April. Given a break ahead of this and better showing anticipated with a hood now fitted. Only ninth on both runs this season but the return to slow ground looks a positive. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (6) (100/1 -300%) Bicep |
100/1(-300%) | (6) Bicep 100/1, Form is rather up and down but can have a line put through each of his last 2 starts, unsuited by the way the race developed when seventh of 9 in handicap at Pontefract (6f, good, 66/1) 24 days ago. Each of his 4 victories for this yard have come at around 7f, however. Went close on AW on reappearance but has failed to shine on his three runs since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (8) (100/1 -1718%) Dazy Mazy |
100/1(-1718%) | (8) Dazy Mazy 100/1, 2 wins from 6 runs this year. 9/4, career best when winning 9-runner handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 46 days ago, staying on to lead last ½f and driven out. Should be in the shake up again nudged up 2 lb. Two wins from her last three starts and this unexposed filly could continue to improve. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
DAZY MAZY arrives here having won two of her last three starts, finishing a neck second on the other occasion, and a 2lb rise for the most recent of those victories may not be enough to stop the in-form filly. That said, Lord Abama has also been in good form of late and should not be discounted, while Fortamour and Music Society complete the shortlist.
A competitive sprint contest with the vote in favour of DAZY MAZY. John Mackie's filly has found some progress since returning to turf in recent months, doubling her tally in determined style at Doncaster 46 days ago. She looks a likely player again up 2 lb. Fortamour, who has been in good form at Ripon, and the potentially well-treated Roach Power are others to consider, along with Lord Abama.
The thriving filly DAZY MAZY (nap) is taken to make it three wins from her last four starts. Lord Abama also arrives in rude health.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
The trusted formula Sir Mark Prescott has mastered when stepping handicappers up in trip has often been a rewarding plan to follow and can again be evidenced if MISS GITANA builds on last month's gutsy success over the extended 1m6f at Doncaster. The daughter of Nathaniel displayed battling qualities that day and, off just 2lb higher, is hard to ignore. Fellow last-time-out winner Hidden Pearl is feared most, although Tailorman and Dovena can also go well.
BEGGARMAN failed to last home when fifth over 2m at Lingfield last time so is worth another chance to confirm himself on a lenient mark dropped back in trip here. Miss Gitana heads the list of dangers on the back of her Doncaster success, although the lightly-raced Implacable and 2022 victor Hidden Pearl are also well in the mix in this open handicap.
The Ian Williams-trained TAILORMAN (nap) gets the vote after two useful efforts in handicaps. Miss Gitana is second choice.

Posted solid runner-up effort at Bangor in May but went backwards from that at Stratford (22.6f) last month. Others more convincing. 10/3(+76%) | (7) Imac Wood 10/3, Three chase wins last season but not at best on his last 3 starts, back hurdling latest. Triple 2m4f-2m5f winner on good last term, but hasn't been the same horse since February. |

2nd (6) (9/2 -139%) Trapista |
9/2(-139%) | (6) Trapista 9/2, Thriving at present, completing a hat-trick with a last-gasp success at Ludlow (20f, good to firm) a couple of months ago, almost certainly much better treated than the head margin implied. 3 lb rise certainly manageable so she's high on the shortlist. Last-gasp Ludlow success (2m4f, good) completed the hat-trick; still on a workable mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (300/1 -5900%) Golfe Clair |
300/1(-5900%) | (5) Golfe Clair 300/1, Fairly useful winning hurdler in 2021/22 and made a successful debut over fences after 12 weeks off at Stratford (22.6f) in May, jumping well in the main. Can prove as good over fences if standing up to racing and should go well again up 4 lb. Narrow win on Stratford chasing debut latest (2m7f, good); wet forecast isn't a plus. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (28/1 -300%) Deerstalker |
28/1(-300%) | (8) Deerstalker 28/1, Narrowly denied in 18.5f handicap hurdle at Stratford in April. Strong in the betting so chase debut there a couple of months ago was a shade disappointing. Cheekpieces go on and more needed. Almost off the mark in a Stratford hurdle in April; green on chase debut back there since. |

5th (2) (400/1 -2400%) Quoi De Neuf |
400/1(-2400%) | (2) Quoi De Neuf 400/1, Returned to winning ways in 4-runner handicap chase at Fakenham (21.2f) last summer but is becoming increasingly unreliable and was tailed off on return to action in May. Fakenham win off 8lb higher in June 2023 (2m5f, good); opposable on nearly all form since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (4) (150/1 -971%) Imperial Bede |
150/1(-971%) | (4) Imperial Bede 150/1, French bumper/hurdles winner who ran out a ready winner on chase debut at Southwell (20.4f) in February. Yet to build on that, finishing tailed-off last at Market Rasen (17.2f, good) last month. Back up in trip and needs to get his act together. Too much of a speed test last time (made errors); back below his winning chase debut mark. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
TRAPISTA arrives in search of a four-timer having got up late to score at Ludlow when turned out under a 7lb penalty. The daughter of Golden Horn is only 3lb higher on this occasion and there may well be more in the locker. Golfe Clair made a winning start to life over fences at Stratford and commands plenty of respect, with Envious Editor and Deerstalker completing the shortlist.
A few in with a squeak but it's hard to ignore the claims of TRAPISTA, who is thriving at present and can bring up the 4-timer returning from a short break. The main danger may emerge from Golfe Clair, who made a winning chasing debut at Stratford in May and is open to improvement in this sphere. Stable-switcher Envious Editor can edge out Deerstalker for minor honours.
A rise of just 2lb for May's Stratford win ought not anchor ENVIOUS EDITOR. Imperial Bede is preferred of the McManus pair on soft.

5th (5) (6/4 +40%) Cordouan |
6/4(+40%) | (5) Cordouan 6/4, Twelve runs since last win in 2022. 3/1, ran to only a modest level after 9 months off when fifth of 14 in claimer at Dundalk (7f) 5 days ago. Could prove tough to beat back on turf. Reappeared over 7f at Dundalk last week, could be hard to beat over this extra furlong. |

12/1(-33%) | (10) Guest Star 12/1, Remains a maiden after 16 Flat runs. 14/1, creditable fifth of 9 in claimer at Fairyhouse (10f, good) 7 days ago. Mostly struggling this year, ran prominently for a long way in a 1m2f claimer last week. |

Can make presence felt in this grade. Eight-time winner has been out of form, disappointing handicap run on stable debut at Naas. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (2) (10/1 -82%) Rick Dalton |
10/1(-82%) | (2) Rick Dalton 10/1, 28/1, showed aptitude when sixth of 19 in maiden hurdle at Down Royal (16.9f, soft) on NH debut 8 months ago. Back down in trip. Each-way claims provided he's ready to roll. 0-14 on Flat but placed eight times, fair chance at these weights if ready after a break. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
CORDOUAN comes out best here on official ratings and gets the vote. The Ado McGuinness-trained gelding last won on the beach at Laytown in 2022 but put in a number of fine efforts last year, including when fourth in the valuable 1m1f Nasrullah Handicap at Leopardstown and should benefit from his reappearance over seven furlongs at Dundalk last Friday. The selection's former stablemate Spanish Tenor likes to force the pace but needs to bounce back from a disappointing run at Naas last month, while others to consider include Mindthegap and Rick Dalton. The latter has been a frustrating sort to follow and now reappears after an eight-month break.
A low-key start to proceedings but CORDOUAN was well backed on return at Dundalk last week and although he disappointed, he's fancied to snap a long losing run back on turf at the expense of Spanish Tenor, who was below form on his yard debut but should make more of an impact back in this company. Dynamic Force can edge out Rick Dalton for third.
The 7f trip was probably too sharp for CORDOUAN at Dundalk last week and he could be hard to beat if he has recovered sufficiently

Mark has fallen further and she's not one to write off for good stable. Encouraging run over C&D latest on second start back from long absence; may build on it. |

8th (1) (33/1 -408%) J R Cavagin |
33/1(-408%) | (1) J R Cavagin 33/1, Best effort of present campaign when third at Nottingham (5f) in June but shaped as if amiss when last of 9 at Doncaster (6f) 19 days ago. Type to bounce back returned to the minimum trip. Reared at the start when tailed off last time; good third at Nottingham prior to that. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
It is very hard to oppose YAZAMAN, who has racked up a hat-trick in recent months and further 5lb rise may still vastly underestimate the six-year-old. Saaheq has not been disgraced on his last couple of starts and the veteran should not be discounted in this company. The unexposed Equity's Darling edges out Havagomecca and Mereside Angel to be best of the rest.
YAZAMAN has been revitalised by the refitting of blinkers, completing the hat-trick with a bit to spare at Wetherby (5.5f) early last month. He looks a serious player once more and can get the 4-timer up. Mereside Angel is another to bear in mind from his reduced mark. The selection's stablemate J R Cavagin can also bounce back returned to the minimum trip.
The Paul Midgley-trained YAZAMAN has been in fine form since the blinkers went back on and he can make it four wins in a row.

MISS DUBAI has run with credit both times she has raced over this trip, going close on the Lingfield Polytrack, and the daughter of Ribchester looks worth chancing, despite running from out of the handicap here. With untapped potential stamina-wise and with Oisin Murphy doing the steering, she shades preference over Rita Rana and Angel On High, who command respect but are hard to win with.
MISS DUBAI arrives on the back of 2 good efforts in 3-y-o only handicaps and can come good now taking on largely older and more exposed opposition. Angel On High has been knocking on the door lately and is second choice ahead of Miss Sligo.
Several possibilities but the return to this track will suit BIG JIMBO who races over this C&D for the first time since his Auguest win.

1st (4) (7/2 +30%) Daring Legend |
7/2(+30%) | (4) Daring Legend 7/2, Two wins from 6 runs this year. Career best when winning 9-runner handicap at Newbury (7f, good to firm, 17/2) 22 days ago. Only nudged up 2 lb. Not taken lightly. 2lb higher than when winning at Newbury last month; player if handling the conditions. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (11/2 -65%) Rockymountainway |
11/2(-65%) | (5) Rockymountainway 11/2, 5/2, career best when winning 5-runner handicap at Ffos Las (7.4f, good to soft) 24 days ago. That form has taken a few knocks but a lightly-raced profile provides the hope for better. 4lb higher than when winning on good to soft at Ffos Las last time; open to more progress. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (28/1 -1389%) Arkhalia Flynn |
28/1(-1389%) | (7) Arkhalia Flynn 28/1, Promising sort. Improved to win 8-runner handicap (5/1) at Haydock (7f, good) 13 days ago, quickening to lead close home and score cosily. A 3 lb rise doesn't look enough to stop him with further progress likely. 3lb higher than when making a successful handicap debut at Haydock last time; high on list. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (11/1 +31%) Onemorenomore |
11/1(+31%) | (6) Onemorenomore 11/1, Made a winning return at Doncaster in April but has been operating below that level since. Off same mark as when making a successful reappearance on soft ground; worth a second look. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (300/1 -5900%) Chola Empire |
300/1(-5900%) | (1) Chola Empire 300/1, Latest win at Southwell in March. Creditable third of 7 in handicap at Newbury (7f, good, 7/1) 13 days ago. Seen more often on AW (3-16) than turf (0-8); others make greater appeal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (400/1 -8789%) Dutch Kingdom |
400/1(-8789%) | (2) Dutch Kingdom 400/1, 4/1, career best when winning 9-runner handicap at Lingfield (1m, AW) 8 days ago, readily. Respected under a penalty. 4-12 on AW, his latest win eight days ago; out of the frame in all six starts on turf. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (200/1 -506%) Kracking |
200/1(-506%) | (8) Kracking 200/1, Won at Leicester (7f) for Clive Cox but down the field on all 3 outings for this yard. Could only consider if backed. Modest in three starts for this yard since returning in May; 4lb drop not enough to tempt. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (350/1 -1300%) Spirited Guest |
350/1(-1300%) | (3) Spirited Guest 350/1, Course winner. 40/1, last of 9 in handicap at Ascot (7f, good to soft) last July and not seen since. The betting is perhaps the best guide to expectations after such a long time off. Off for a year but can go well fresh and seems to handle any ground; could go well. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
ARKHALIA FLYNN was value for more than the winning distance when scoring by a head on his handicap debut over 7f at Haydock recently, running on well under a confident ride to lead in the final strides and, under the same rider off just 3lb higher, he gets the vote to bring up the double. Dangers are aplenty and look to be headed by last-time-out winner Rockymountainway, who has been upped 4lb for a recent Ffos Las success. Daring Legend bounced back to form with a win at Newbury last month and completes the shortlist,
There should be more to come from ARKHALIA FLYNN so a 3 lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent him making it 2-2 in handicaps. Fellow last-time out scorers Dutch Kingdom and Daring Legend can give him most to think about.
This can go to the progressive ARKHALIA FLYNN (nap) who won with more in hand at Haydock last time than the head margin would suggest.

State Of Honor |
(6) (9/1 -50%)9/1(-50%) | (6) State Of Honor 9/1, Built on reappearance effort when good second of 13 in handicap hurdle over C&D (good to soft) 32 days ago. Remains fairly treated and is one for the shortlist. 0-12 but was a creditable second over C&D latest and has claims if she can back that up. |

Dun Dancing |
(8) (16/1 -14%)16/1(-14%) | (8) Dun Dancing 16/1, Offered little in a trio of starts in novices but hails from a shrewd yard and would be little surprise if improvement was forthcoming on switch to handicapping. 3rd (3) (150/1 -2900%) Only Fools |
150/1(-2900%) | (3) Only Fools 150/1, Posted career best when resuming winning ways in 9-runner handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (21.6f, good to soft) 12 days ago, keeping on well. 5 lb higher now but ought to go well again. Won on rain-softened ground at Newton Abbot last time and she's respected up 5lb. |

400/1(-1900%) | (12) Cellar Club 400/1, Still looking for first success and has failed to build on her Market Rasen reappearance promise over shorter trips and got no further than first flight latest. Eight-race maiden who was an early faller last time and she has something to prove. |

Visor goes on. Lightly raced since his win in 2022 and down the field in last two runs; others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) (350/1 -1650%) Seaborough |
350/1(-1650%) | (9) Seaborough 350/1, C&D winner back in 2022 but record distinctly patchy since and is hard to recommend with confidence. Infrequent winner who has been out of sorts in his last eight runs. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Support in the betting for the likes of Ten Ten Twenty and Only Fools looks assured given both won in this grade last time out. The same applies to REGAL AND ROYAL, but the Jennie Candlish-trained hat-trick seeker has far fewer miles on the clock and, raised just 4lb for the latest of his Bangor wins, he rates a more appealing option. Bella Ciao is another with claims.
STATE OF HONOR returned to form when runner-up here last month and remains on a workable mark. She gets the nod. Ten Ten Twenty and Regal And Royal are feared most.
Plenty have possibilities but top of the list is TEN TEN TWENTY, who escapes a penalty for his win at Market Rasen ten days ago.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
GREEN TRIANGLE was placed on his opening two starts before being backed as if defeat was out of the question when scoring in no uncertain manner at Roscommon earlier this month. The Joseph O'Brien-trained colt easily beat newcomer J'adore Chris by over four lengths and can follow up, although it's interesting to note that Dylan Browne McMonagle now rides stablemate Cap Saint Martin. Lady O made a winning debut at Roscommon and may have compromised her chance when subsequently getting upset in the stalls at Tipperary, while Ja'marr also showed promise on debut at the Curragh. Lambourn, by Australia and out of a juvenile winner, is of obvious interest from Ballydoyle.
GREEN TRIANGLE got off the mark in impressive fashion at Roscommon and should have enough to defy a penalty unless the well-bred Lambourn has enough know-how to challenge him on debut. Lady O and J'Adore Chris could also make the selection think if they were able to find some improvement.
It may pay to side with the experienced GREEN TRIANGLE who beat J'Adore Chris convincingly at Roscommon

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
SHAWS PHOENIX went down fighting when touched off in a driving finish at Yarmouth last month and could be hard to beat back over a mile if the cheekpieces have the same galvanising impact. Dappled Light commands respect back in a handicap after landing the odds in a classified stakes at Ffos Las. Cobh Harbour and Monks Mead are a couple of others with solid place claims at this level.
Former C&D winner MY AMBITION looks ready to strike again after a back-to-form second at Leicester last time but there are plenty of dangers in a competitive finale, headed by the hat-trick seeking Weston Court and Shaws Phoenix, who went down only to a progressive sort at Yarmouth last time. Ed Walker handicap newcomer Oscar Mike would also enter the reckoning if the betting speaks in his favour.
The one with scope for significant improvement is THUNDERING BREEZE on her handicap debut. My Ambition is second best.

MISSION COMMAND stepped forward from his low-key debut when shaping with promise finishing third over 6f at Doncaster last week and, with further improvement likely, he appeals most in this wide-open affair. Outclassed in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot last month, Adrestia must be respected with her sights lowered, while there is plenty to like about Too Sweet's credentials on paper, and she has to be taken seriously first time up.
ADRESTIA shaped with plenty of encouragement at Windsor first time out before facing a stiff task in the Queen Mary so, back down in grade, she's comfortably the most appealing runner. Too Sweet is an interesting debutante having fetched a big sum at the Breeze-Ups and Dutch Finale should improve.
After a promising debut, ADRESTIA wasn't a million miles away in the Queen Mary and she looks the one to be with at this easier level.

9th (5) (400/1 -2400%) Totowolfe |
400/1(-2400%) | (5) Totowolfe 400/1, Irish point winner who has shown little since shaping with some encouragement on his hurdling debut. Has undergone a breathing operation since last seen and that needs to have had a positive effect. Yet to finish a handicap strongly, including at 2m4f latest; wind surgery in the meantime. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
RECORD ART sprung a bit of a surprise when scoring under Caoilin Quinn in a conditionals' race at Worcester and can register back-to-back successes with the rider now able to use his 3lb claim to help counter a 5lb higher mark. This is more competitive, with Bluebella of particular interest on the step back up in trip following a better effort at Stratford. Faded Fantasy can't be written off either, despite a modest Worcester display.
BUSHMILL BOY is still searching for a first win as a 10-y-o, but he hit the frame on several occasions for David Thompson and having made an interesting stable switch, he gets the nod to shake off a lesser effort and finally shed his maiden status. Bluebella took a step back in the right direction on her most recent outing and should play a leading role if building on that, with Jormungandr another to consider.
This may revolve around BUSHMILL BOY, who's had wind surgery since claimed by Olly Murphy. Malina Ocarina is feared most.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
THEQUIETMAN made a pleasing debut on testing ground at Leopardstown back in April when runner-up to Ecureuil Secret, who is now rated 100. The Joseph O'Brien-trained gelding, who cost 235,000gns at the Newmarket Breeze Up Sale last year, has not been seen since but given normal improvement should be difficult to beat. Monasterboice has been a model of consistency this year and made the frame for the fourth time when third to Four Blondes at Fairyhouse last week. John Steinbeck has a superb pedigree but wasn't too strong in the market before taken out of that Fairyhouse maiden due to the going.
THEQUIETMAN shaped with plenty of encouragement when runner-up in a well-run maiden at Leopardstown on his debut in April and has to be considered the one to beat with improvement on the cards, though strong market support for choicely-bred newcomer John Steinbeck would put a slightly different slant on matters. Monasterboice is fully exposed but should give another good account.
It is slightly concerning that THEQUIETMAN has not run since his debut second at Leopardstown in April but the form looks solid

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
The combination of the step back to 6f and the application of a visor saw MERRIMACK run out a decisive winner at Brighton recently and, down to the minimum trip for the first time, the suspicion is that a 6lb penalty may not be enough to anchor Stuart Williams' charge. Marcus arrives on the back of a couple of admirable efforts in defeat and boasts solid credentials of at least hitting the frame, while Stoneacre Girl is expected to strip fitter after her seasonal reappearance over an extended 5f at Wetherby last month.
If a visor works again MERRIMACK will stand a good chance of overcoming a penalty for last week's Brighton success. Windsor third Marcus may be the one to give the selection most to do ahead of Stoneacre Girl.
The interesting horse is MERRIMACK whose Brighton win eight days ago was never in much doubt.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
SAKTI showed plenty of promise when placed twice in Stakes races last year including when runner-up to Vespertilio in the Group 2 Debutante Stakes at the Curragh, and landed short odds in a Dundalk maiden this spring. The daughter of Caravaggio probably has more scope for improvement than her rivals and gets the vote over Greenfinch. The Justify half-sister to the speedy U S Navy Flag has been tried over a variety of trips and had Fleur De Chine two lengths behind when placed in the 1m2f Oaks Trial at Naas last time. Adelaise carries a 3lb penalty for a Listed win at Kempton but has since finished in mid-division in the Kensington Palace at Royal Ascot.
SAKTI was placed twice in Group company as a juvenile and can land this listed prize for the Ger Lyons/Colin Keane combination. The chief threat may come from fellow 3-y-os Greenfinch, who was third in a listed race last time, and Jessie Harrington's Fleur de Chine.
Gowran Classic winner FLEUR DE CHINE should be more at home over the mile than the 1m2f at Naas and should go a lot closer here

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
ASINARA arrives here having filled second place on three of her four starts to date and the daughter of Harry Angel will not find many better opportunities than this to get off the mark. Pearl's Edge has not been beaten far on her last couple of starts and appears to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Max Stripes.
Probably a match between ASINARA and Pearl's Edge with the 5 lb the former receives tilting the scales her way.
3yo ASINARA has been expensive to follow so far but she looks worth another chance and gets the vote ahead of Pearl's Edge.

450/1(-463%) | (8) Boleyn Forever 450/1, Outstrip gelding. Dam 6f-1m winner. Doesn't make much appeal on paper. Out of a 6f-1m winner; unlikely to provide the answer first time out; has been gelded. |

11th (5) (400/1 -400%) Combustion |
400/1(-400%) | (5) Combustion 400/1, Twice-raced gelding. Ninth of 11 in minor event at Kempton (7f, 125/1) 56 days ago. Up against it. Triple-digit odds when well down the field in 7f novices on the Kempton AW; no appeal. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
FINE INTERVIEW showed plenty of promise when chasing home a useful rival on his debut over 6f here last September and the son of Havana Grey merits plenty of respect on his return to action. Get Jiggy With It failed to fire in handicap company last time but is a player based on her previous form, while Pipes And Drums is next best.
PIPES AND DRUMS improved when third at Windsor last time under another considerate ride and, with better still expected, he can get the better of Get Jiggy With It, who has achieved a bit more to this point. Fine Gold also has potential and is worthy of consideration.
Market confidence would be welcomed after his lengthy break but they were good horses that FINE INTERVIEW divided here in September.

11/1(-83%) | (9) Skontonovski 11/1, C&D winner. 14/1, improved on recent efforts to win 17-runner handicap at Fairyhouse (7f, good) 7 days ago, driven out. Can go well again. Brought career record to 9-81 with last week's Fairyhouse win, struggling before that. |

9th (4) (11/1 +31%) Dumb Love |
11/1(+31%) | (4) Dumb Love 11/1, Good sixth of 22 in handicap (8/1) at Leopardstown (9f, good to soft) 34 days ago. Claims. Fair sixth at Leopardstown last time, needs to reverse Listowel form with The Blue Panther. |

10th (7) (11/1 -10%) Han Solo |
11/1(-10%) | (7) Han Solo 11/1, Creditable fifth of 11 in handicap at Limerick (8f, good to firm, 7/2) 35 days ago, not ideally placed. Ought to be in the shake-up. Possibly a little too high in the ratings since Cork win last autumn, others preferred. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
THE WORLD'S ASTAGE was an eyecatcher at Bellewstown last time and Colin Keane takes the mount now. The Rajj filly was left with plenty to do then, when a few lengths out the back at the top of the hill, and ran on strongly in the closing stages to finish third to The Bog Bank. She remains on the same mark of 52. Hokusai was a cosy winner at Leopardstown six days ago and has to be respected under a 7lb penalty. He hasn't fared well with the draw, though. The Blue Panther won on his first outing for Jenny Lynch at Listowel last month and is another who has to come into calculations.
GLENCULLEN hinted at a revival when third at Fairyhouse for his new yard so looks the way to go here off a lenient mark. C&D scorer Skontonovski could emerge as the chief threat on the back of his recent Fairyhouse victory with in-form trio Perfect Curves, The World's Astage and On Our Radar also worthy of respect in this very open handicap.
Having slumped to a career-low mark THE BLUE PANTHER was a front-running winner on his stable/seasonal debut and may score again

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
LAKERS displayed plenty of promise when filling third place on his debut at Yarmouth a couple of weeks ago and the son of Pinatubo could be hard to beat with the benefit of that experience. Zayer cost 85,000 euros at a breeze-up sale in May and is arguably the most eye-catching newcomer, although any market support for Baather or Classic Cause would have to be noted.
LAKERS shaped with plenty of promise when third in what looked a strong race for the track at Yarmouth a fortnight ago and expected to build on that, he'll take soem stopping. Newcomers are feared most, with Zayer and Classic Cause perhaps the pick of them before market clues.
Preference is for LAKERS, who made a promising start with his third at Yarmouth two weeks ago and sets a fair standard on that form.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Kaolinite is arguably the pick of those with experience, although Masterofgreygoose should not be written off. A chance, though, is taken on ANGEL MAC. The daughter of Zoffany is related to a couple of useful types and, with both trainer and jockey amongst the winners of late, it would come as no surprise were she to play a leading role. The Eyes Have It and Ya Rayah are other debutants to monitor in the betting.
ANGEL MAC is bred to be useful and likely to know her job well enough, so she's worth a chance to make a winning start at the possible expense of Kaolinite, who should still have more to offer. The Eyes Have It is another notable newcomer in a thin maiden.
Those to have run don't set a daunting standard and ANGEL MAC can win on debut. Her stable had a 3yo go in first time here last month.

8th (15) (12/1 +64%) Vintage Gold |
12/1(+64%) | (15) Vintage Gold 12/1, 28/1, thirteenth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Tipperary (16f, good to soft) 63 days ago. Modest on the Flat, poor on last Flat run. Others more persuasive. Third in a C&D handicap off this mark in 2022; stable runners never dismissed here. |

40/1(-60%) | (5) Star Of Mayo 40/1, 100/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time, thirteenth of 16 in novice hurdle at Cork (16.9f, good) 12 days ago. Sole success on the level came at 1m. No show in four starts in maiden hurdles for his current trainer; best watched. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
STATUS GREEN ran a solid race at Ballinrobe last time when meeting some traffic problems and looks capable of landing another race off his current mark. The Le Havre gelding had scored at Tipperary previously and had also been runner-up over a shorter trip here in mid-May. Thefullbackline has run well on his last couple of outings and is just 1lb higher than when third at Bellewstown recently. He has to be on the shortlist. Barrogstown Girl won on her handicap debut at Limerick 10 days ago and is still relatively unexposed. She went up 5lb for that success and should be competitive again.
STATUS GREEN has been in good form since the headgear went on, shaping better than the bare result when third at Ballinrobe 23 days ago. He earns the vote to confirm his revised mark a workable one back down in trip. Limerick-scorer Barrogstown Girl is easily one of the least exposed and is feared along with Forlio. Thefullbackline is also respected.
The one to beat is likely to be BARROGSTOWN GIRL, a winner at Limerick last time over the trip and has not been harshly penalised

1st (1) (5/4 -56%) Alfred Cove |
5/4(-56%) | (1) Alfred Cove 5/4, Latest win at Brighton in July and posted another respectable effort despite failing to justify 11/10 price when second of 6 back at that venue (5.3f) last week. Major claims. Win and good second in classified events at Brighton last twice; big player again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (4/1 -100%) Rhubarb |
4/1(-100%) | (5) Rhubarb 4/1, Modest mare. Creditable third of 7 in handicap (10/1) at this C&D (good) 7 days ago, running on. Likely to give it another good shot. Handles any ground and was a close third over C&D ast week; respected. |

3rd (3) (11/2 +61%) Louis Treize |
11/2(+61%) | (3) Louis Treize 11/2, Tricky customer. Twelve runs since last win in 2023. 10/1, sixth of 8 in handicap at Windsor (5.1f, good to firm) 18 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Losing run is mounting up and he's a frequent slow starter; not the percentage call. |

4th (4) (250/1 -900%) Pink Stripes |
250/1(-900%) | (4) Pink Stripes 250/1, Remains a maiden after 24 Flat runs. 33/1, sixth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (5.1f) 9 days ago. 24-race maiden and this looks tough on these terms; opposable. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
ALFRED COVE won a similar event to this over 6f at Brighton two starts ago and was not disgraced when second at the same venue last time. A reproduction of either of those efforts would give him a big chance, although Rhubarb should not be discounted following an encouraging third in handicap company over C&D a week ago. The rest need to improve but Darkened Edge is the pick of them.
ALFRED COVE has been in excellent heart at Brighton in recent weeks and this looks to be a good piece of placing by connections. Rhubarb is the obvious threat.
This is a tight call between Rhubarb and ALFRED COVE but the vote goes to Tony Carroll's in-form 5yo.

Iconique |
(4) (12/1 +14%)12/1(+14%) | (4) Iconique 12/1, Modest mare. C&D winner. One win from 28 Flat runs. 17/2, first run since leaving Rebecca Menzies when sixth of 8 in handicap at Leicester (11.8f, good to firm) 20 days ago. Could build on that and is worthy of respect despite her poor strike rate. Sole win in 28 was in October 2021 and didn't show enough on recent stable debut. |

11/10(+41%) | (2) Clever Currency 11/10, Modest gelding. Fell in claiming hurdle at Sligo (18.4f, good to soft, 10/3) 36 days ago. Down in trip. First run for yard after leaving Paul W. Flynn. Ran well on latest Flat outing and he's fairly useful over jumps, so makes the most appeal. In front when falling in an Irish claiming hurdle last time; has low mileage on the Flat. |

3rd (7) (4/1 +20%) Trackman |
4/1(+20%) | (7) Trackman 4/1, Modest gelding. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, eighth of 12 in handicap at this course (10.1f, good to soft, 11/1) 7 days ago. Not ruled out in a weak race. Best form has come on the AW but unlucky not to have finished closer here last week. |

Eleventh of 13 in handicap hurdle at Southwell (15.8f, good, 40/1) 36 days ago. Claims if he can bounce back. Three AW wins but unraced over this far and rain-softened ground could be an issue. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Shield Of Honour can go well reunited with Sean D Bowen, who is proving to be very good value for his 3lb claim, while Trackman and Iconique are a couple of others whose riders enhance their credentials by claiming weight. However, this can go to the versatile SUNSET IN PARIS, who is back on the level with a live chance of adding to a brace of classified stakes successes gained on the all-weather earlier this year.
CLEVER CURRENCY fell heavily over hurdles last time but ran well on his latest Flat outing so, if he's none the worse for that latest incident, he should be tough to beat for a new yard in a very weak event. Iconique could play a part on her second run for Tony Carroll and Trackman can't be ruled out.
A modest contest may go the way of CLEVER CURRENCY who was running well when departing late on a claiming hurdle last time.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Seamie Heffernan takes the mount on JUST ANOTHER EAGLE and she looks capable of landing one of these. The Free Eagle filly has been knocking on the door and ran a decent race when fourth at Limerick last time. She was keen early on then and didn't finish off her race. If she settles a bit better, she has enough ability to strike off the basement mark. Ifitwasme comes here in winning form after his victory at Tipperary a fortnight ago, and has to be respected off a 7lb higher mark. The veteran No Trouble ran well when runner-up at Bellewstown and also comes into the mix.
IFITWASME was well on top at the finish when opening his account at Tipperary a fortnight ago and may be able to follow up. No Trouble and Elsa's Pride can also make their presence felt.
Preference is for ELSA'S PRIDE, a consistent performer at around this mark and is 8lb better off with Ifitwasme from Tipperary

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
GODSEND benefited from more patient tactics when getting off the mark at Ripon last Monday on his second start in handicap company. Sir Mark Prescott's gelding may prove a tough nut to crack, despite carrying a 6lb penalty. Night Breeze boasts a consistent level of form in recent weeks and the four-year-old is capable of being in the mix, while stepping up in trip might aid the cause of Advert Rules.
GODSEND got back on the up when going in at Ripon last week and still looks ahead of his mark under a 6 lb penalty. Night Breeze appeals as the one to chase home Sir Mark Prescott's 3-y-o now he steps up in trip with the lightly-raced Advert Rules also in the picture.
This can go to GODSEND, who surged clear at Ripon last week and looks well treated under a penalty for that success.

11th (7) (400/1 -4344%) Moreginplease |
400/1(-4344%) | (7) Moreginplease 400/1, One win from 22 Flat runs. Winner at Lingfield in May. Creditable second of 11 in handicap (4/1) at this course (7f, good to soft) 7 days ago. One to consider. Ran well here last week when beating all bar an unexposed and well-backed winner. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Several of these have been banging on the door of late and while the likes of Havana Smoke, Bluebells Boy and Dion Baker can all get competitive, dropping back to 6f could see MOREGINPLEASE supplement her Lingfield success from May. Still potentially well treated despite now running off 8lb higher, the selection has held her form well over 7f of late and this less demanding stamina test could be the right path for further success.
Having scored here in June, BLUEBELLS BOY was left with too much to do last time and he's worth a chance to resume winning ways in a race that should play to his strengths more. Porfin was also successful on his last visit to the track and is in good order, so he's feared most ahead of Fletcher's Flight.
Moreginplease was ahead of FLETCHER'S FLIGHT here last week but the selection can reverse those placings back over 6f.

Usual tongue tie back on and she's of interest from this reduced mark (bumper winner). Bumper winner; modest Flat and hurdles form; debuts for this yard and best watched. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Whispering Hopes |
(8) (16/1 -146%)16/1(-146%) | (8) Whispering Hopes 16/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 25/1, fourth of 12 in handicap at Bellewstown (14.5f, good) 13 days ago, never nearer. That was a big step up on her qualifying runs. Could be on a nice weight here with an excellent 7lb claimer on board. |

Bynx |
(13) (28/1 -12%)28/1(-12%) | (13) Bynx 28/1, Unseated rider in handicap hurdle (5/1) at Gowran (16f, heavy) 174 days ago. Off 174 days. Fair on the Flat, respectable effort on last Flat outing. Others more persuasive. Could do okay off this Flat mark but best watched after six months off. |

Wild Shot |
(14) (28/1 +15%)28/1(+15%) | (14) Wild Shot 28/1, Fourteenth of 16 in handicap (22/1) at Fairyhouse (12f, good) 40 days ago. Rejoined yard after leaving Noel C. Kelly and interesting what the market makes of him. Back with John McConnell after two bad runs over hurdles and on the Flat for Noel Kelly. |

Nomenclature |
(7) (33/1 -65%)33/1(-65%) | (7) Nomenclature 33/1, 18/1, ninth of 14 in handicap at Navan (13f, good) 60 days ago. May have needed that reappearance. Has been underwhelming in handicaps given the promise she showed in a Listowel 1m4f maiden. |

Intend |
(10) (33/1 -65%)33/1(-65%) | (10) Intend 33/1, Below form seventh of 14 in handicap (10/1) at Limerick (11.2f, soft) 62 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Back up in trip. Better for Limerick comeback run in May although probably wants it softer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (9) (7/2 +22%) Chutzpal |
7/2(+22%) | (9) Chutzpal 7/2, First run since leaving Eoin Doyle when respectable fourth of 16 in handicap (3/1) at Fairyhouse (12f, good) 40 days ago. Stable in good form. Blinkers back on and there's likely more to come for this yard. Best run for a while came on his stable debut in a Fairyhouse handicap last month; claims. |

2nd (6) (9/2 +68%) Chatterbox |
9/2(+68%) | (6) Chatterbox 9/2, Respectable eighth of 18 in handicap hurdle (28/1) at Listowel (20.4f, good) 46 days ago. Booking of Keane a plus back on the level. 1lb lower than last year and should go well back on the Flat with the trainer's record. |

16/1(-60%) | (17) Bigz Belief 16/1, Creditable third of 10 in handicap at Bellewstown (12.2f, good, 5/1) 12 days ago. RESERVE. Second reserve; four-time winner coming off a good run at Bellewstown; not discounted. |

4th (5) (11/2 +0%) Gracesolution |
11/2(+0%) | (5) Gracesolution 11/2, Course winner. Eighteen runs since last win in 2022. 22/1, bit below form sixth of 18 in handicap at the Curragh (12f, good) 19 days ago. Stable in good form. Did not enjoy luck in running at the Curragh last month; will go close if running her race. |

5th (4) (9/2 -35%) Final Orders |
9/2(-35%) | (4) Final Orders 9/2, 12/1, creditable fourth of 10 in handicap chase at Cartmel (21.2f, good to soft) 17 days ago. Fairly useful on the Flat, improved to win when last seen in that sphere a year ago. This mark should still be within range. Won a Bellewstown handicap off 59 last year and this is his first Flat run since; up 9lb. |

6th (16) (28/1 -100%) Charlie Darling |
28/1(-100%) | (16) Charlie Darling 28/1, Respectable fifth of 9 in handicap at Bellewstown (12.2f, good, 7/1) 12 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. RESERVE. First reserve; inconsistent but is a previous winner and ran okay at Navan in May. |

7th (1) (28/1 -100%) Bukhill |
28/1(-100%) | (1) Bukhill 28/1, Thrice-raced maiden on Flat. Fair winner at 18f over hurdles. 9/1, eighth of 9 in maiden at Limerick (12.5f, good) 25 days ago. Makes handicap debut and mark demands a lot more. Third to Uxmal at Tramore last year; might be high enough on his handicap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (28/1 -100%) Arabian King |
28/1(-100%) | (3) Arabian King 28/1, 7/1, pulled up in novice chase at Tipperary (19.4f, good to soft) on debut over fences 15 days ago. Flat winner in September. Interesting back on the Flat off a 6lb higher mark but would prefer an ease. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (11) (10/1 +0%) Calmafterthestorm |
10/1(+0%) | (11) Calmafterthestorm 10/1, 33/1, career best when winning 13-runner handicap at Down Royal (12.8f, good) 25 days ago. May have more to offer given her profile. Came good upped in trip in a 1m5f Down Royal handicap last month; could go close. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (2) (150/1 -275%) Fanaigi Linn |
150/1(-275%) | (2) Fanaigi Linn 150/1, 125/1, last of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (10.7f). Off 103 days. Significantly up in trip. Uphill task. Well beaten in a couple of Dundalk handicaps in the spring; others make much more appeal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (15) (18/1 -50%) Gleaning |
18/1(-50%) | (15) Gleaning 18/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 14/1, eleventh of 14 in maiden at Down Royal (10f, good) 47 days ago. Significantly up in trip with blinkers back on for powerful connections. Four runs in maidens have shown very little; could be the lowest-rated horse at Ballydoyle. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (18) (66/1 -65%) Tullyhogue Fort |
66/1(-65%) | (18) Tullyhogue Fort 66/1, Lightly-raced maiden on Flat. Modest winner at 24f over hurdles. 6/1, below form ninth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Tipperary (24f, good to soft) 13 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Must step up. RESERVE. Third reserve; three wins over hurdles and fences; tailed off in a C&D maiden a year ago. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
BYNX might be worth a shot here on her return to the Flat. The Vadamos mare has won a couple of hurdles since last seen on the level back in May 2022. She has been eased 6lb since that last outing on the Flat and could be nicely treated in a moderate contest on her return to action. Calmafterthestorm sprang a 33/1 shock last time on his handicap debut. The four-year-old is unexposed and might benefit from going up in trip again here. Final Orders is a decent sort over fences and is another who could run well tried back on the level now.
This could be a strong race for the grade with CHUTZPAL fancied to step up on his stable debut with blinkers back on and cash in on this very workable mark. Young Lucy has been pulled out of a couple of engagements of late but a market check is essential given connections, with Final Orders likely to give it a good go back on the level.
It could be hard to oppose FINAL ORDERS(nap), not seen on the level since winning at Bellewstown last year and 9lb higher now

1st (10) (11/2 +8%) Zambezi Magic |
11/2(+8%) | (10) Zambezi Magic 11/2, C&D winner. Thirteen runs since last win in 2022. Did quite well to finish third of 6 in handicap (9/1) at this course (8f, good to soft) 24 days ago given how slowly away he was. Back up in trip. Can make presence felt if breaking close to on terms. His last win was almost two years ago and he's been quiet in 2024; others preferred.. |

2nd (4) (4/1 -20%) Inappropriate |
4/1(-20%) | (4) Inappropriate 4/1, Showed improved form when second of 10 in handicap at Nottingham (10.2f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Improving all the time recently and 2 lb rise still leaves him competitive taking on elders for the first time. Went close at Nottingham (1m2f) last time and he's a big player again up 2lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (9) (125/1 -1463%) Khangai |
125/1(-1463%) | (9) Khangai 125/1, Twelve runs since last win in 2023. 4/1, fourth of 7 in handicap at Bath (11.6f, good to firm) 14 days ago, failing to last home. This trip more suitable. Went close at Bath last month but well held last time and that took his record to 1-22. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (350/1 -5733%) Ciotog |
350/1(-5733%) | (1) Ciotog 350/1, Blinkered for first time, respectable fourth of 8 in handicap at Doncaster (8f, good to firm, 12/1) 19 days ago, needing stronger gallop. Back up in trip and this represents a drop in grade. Well held in last four runs and all wins have come at around 1m; down the list. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (125/1 -3471%) Celebrating Ethel |
125/1(-3471%) | (2) Celebrating Ethel 125/1, Failed to meet market expectations when fourth of 5 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f, good to firm, 9/4) 18 days ago, though wasn't seen to best effect given she was denied a clear run and finished with running left. This is easier so bold bid looks assured. Well treated on her best form and wasn't beaten far at Doncaster last time; in the mix. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (400/1 -4900%) Jolty Jem |
400/1(-4900%) | (8) Jolty Jem 400/1, Stuck to his task when fourth of 6 in handicap at Windsor (10f, good to firm) 23 days ago. That was his first go over this far and he's likely to give it another good go. Hasn't threatened in his four handicaps and needs to raise his game at this new trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (400/1 -4344%) Kinematica |
400/1(-4344%) | (6) Kinematica 400/1, Promising debut on the AW but disappointing since, last of 6 in handicap at Hamilton (11.1f, good) 20 days ago. Hood on first time for in-form yard. In good hands and still early days but she needs a transformation with a hood added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (100/1 -1233%) Prince Ali |
100/1(-1233%) | (3) Prince Ali 100/1, Twelve runs since last win in 2023. 3/1, creditable third of 7 in handicap at Kempton (11f) 35 days ago, given he was left poorly placed how the race unfolded. Rare turf start. Triple AW winner but he's 0-7 on turf and has not run in this sphere since last June. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (5) (200/1 -1329%) Acclaimer |
200/1(-1329%) | (5) Acclaimer 200/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Sixth of 7 in handicap (8/1) at Leicester (8.2f, good). Off 12 months. Up in trip. Visor on first time and he has to return an improved performer to defy current mark. Unexposed gelding but he's back from a year off and needs improvement upped in trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
INAPPROPRIATE has taken a step in the right direction since moving up to 1m2f on his last couple of outings, hitting the frame at Yarmouth and Nottingham, and the son of Churchill may have been found the ideal opportunity to shed the maiden tag. Prince Ali and Celebrating Ethel appear best of the remainder, although Kinematica is not without a chance if the first-time hood can help her to settle.
It's easy to excuse CELEBRATING ETHEL's Doncaster effort given she was denied a run and the way she finished that race off suggests she's still in form. This is a slightly easier assignment so she looks the answer, with Inappropriate feared most taking on his elders for the first time. Zambezi Magic can ruin his chance at the stalls but is a threat if avoiding that trait this time.
Most of these have something to prove but INAPPROPRIATE (nap) has a progressive profile and he went close at Nottingham last time.

300/1(-809%) | (6) So Farhh So Good 300/1, Eighth of 10 in handicap (40/1) at Kempton (12f) 56 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Can give a good account if shrugging off latest effort. 11-race maiden who has struggled the last twice and has stamina to prove at this trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.
Tarbat Ness has been knocking on the door with a brace of runner-up efforts at Ripon and Carlisle in May. The five-year-old makes a considerable amount of appeal, but the vote goes to EASY EQUATION. His return to turf saw him go close at Pontefract last month and a repeat of that performance may suffice. Kissininthebackrow completes the shortlist with the extra couple of furlongs a potential source of improvement.
TARBAT NESS signalled he's ready to go in again when runner-up at Carlisle last time so this C&D winner gets the vote off the same mark. Kissininthebackrow is weighted to have a big say and next on the list ahead of in-form pair Easy Equation and Thahab Ifraj.
The vote goes to EASY EQUATION, who has a solid record for his current yard including a close call at Pontefract last month.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
