WHISPERING ROYAL didn't allow inexperience to get the better of him when he made a winning start to his career at Dundalk back in November and having swapped hands for 75,000gns shortly after, this represents a good opportunity for him to enhance his profile on debut for Alan King. His pedigree suggests the additional yardage is within his compass and another big run is expected. Ala Kaifi rates as the chief danger, although Timely Escape can improve now tried in a hood.

It probably wasn't the strongest of maidens that WHISPERING ROYAL landed on his sole 2-y-o start at Dundalk but it was a promising introduction nonetheless. He is likely to benefit from this step up in trip and is taken to maintain his unbeaten status on debut for new connections. Intergalacticat took a step forward when third in a Yarmouth handicap in April and will be a big threat if responding well to the first-time cheekpieces, while Ala Kaifi should also have a part to play.

Preference is for INTERGALACTICAT who improved to finish third at Yarmouth last time. That form has received a couple of boosts since.

Switching from a hood to a visor might prompt improvement from Good Humor and he could provide a bit of value for a place in the frame if all eight stand their ground. Embarked and Girl Inthe Picture also have sound claims on the pick of their form but preference is for RED EVELYN, who wasn't beaten far over this trip at Chepstow on her debut for John Butler a fortnight ago. Off the same mark, she shades preference.

Though EMBARKED ultimately failed to land a gamble on his first start since rejoining this yard at Doncaster, it was a highly encouraging effort nonetheless and, with the return to this trip likely to be in his favour, he rates a confident selection. Red Evelyn gets the nod for forecast purposes ahead of Free Step and Girl Inthe Picture.

Back in Britain with a close fourth in a stronger race than this 12 days ago, EMBARKED is 3lb ahead of the handicapper here.

A maximum field head to post for the opener where last month's C&D winner CALEVADE is tipped to make it a perfect 2-2 this season. Judging by his starting price of 12/1,Ben Haslam's grey gelding appeared to surprise a few on that occasion but the manner of his success proved there was no fluke about it and a 5lb rise may not be enough to halt him. Prime Time Lady has won and finished second on both starts at this track and could be the biggest threat, along with Zamond, who last seen finished runner-up at Musselburgh in March.

RHODIA hasn't pulled up any trees in a handful of novice events in this sphere but is appealing now making the switch to handicap company off what, judged on his bumper form, is a potentially handy opening mark. With James King booked, Zamond is a big danger given the strength of his latest effort at Musselburgh and the fact that he was a C&D winner on his sole previous start here. Fellow C&D winners Prime Time Lady and Calevade are also feared, in that order of preference.

Several to consider but C&D winner ZAMOND has plenty going for him.

BEAUTY CHOICE is back on a winning mark and may be worth chancing in a wide-open sprint handicap. The drop back in distance is ideal for the six-year-old and it would come as no surprise to see an improved effort now a visor is tried. Okeanos, who is unexposed at the trip, is also taken seriously given he is officially 2lb well-in. Brazen Idol, Asadjumeirah and Barney's Bay warrant betting checks too.

Lots with chances. OKEANOS posted a very good second on his turf debut at Redcar a week ago and can race off the same mark here so edges the vote at the chief expense of Captain Vallo who came home first in his group when third at Thirsk last time. Foreseeable Future is another who can have a big say in his bid for a third win of 2023.

The vote goes to OKEANOS, already due a 2lb rise for a narrow defeat on turf debut at Redcar last time. A well-run 6f may suit him.

SWORDPLAY's comfortable breakthrough success at Hamilton stamped him as a promising juvenile and the son of Kodiac can go in again, despite having a penalty to carry. Straight A, who was doing his best work at the finish on debut in a good race at Leicester, rates as the biggest threat to the selection, although Cogsworth won't need to be out of the ordinary to have a say on his introduction.

SWORDPLAY has been found an excellent opportunity to follow up his Hamilton success under a penalty. Straight A has about 10 lb to find with the selection, but can be expected to take a step forward from his encouraging debut. See All Match is the more interesting newcomer.

Harry Eustace's STRAIGHT A ran a promising first race at Leicester behind last week's Chesham third and is preferred to Swordplay.

DEE STAR got the job done in impressive style at last month's meeting over half a mile further than this and although he's been raised 8lb as a result of that victory, he may well prove up to the task. Jimmy Moffat and Charlotte Jones have teamed up to win the last two renewals of this race and they must be respected with Zumbi this time around. Jony Max appeared beaten when brought down over hurdles at Fontwell last month but remains on attractive mark over fences.

ZUMBI made an encouraging start over fences here last month and looks sure to improve over this longer trip, so gets the vote over the admirable Dee Star, who is becoming a cult-hero at Cartmel after recording another victory (now 4 wins and 6 seconds here) last month but now finds himself on a career-high mark. Jony Max and Diegos Way are also in the mix.

Preference is for JONY MAX, who ran a big race in defeat in last month's Norfolk National on the tight left-handed track at Fakenham.

Bigbertiebassett and Secret Beach showed promise on debut and are high on the list of those to monitor in the betting, while Dash Power was clueless on his racecourse bow but has a likeable enough pedigree to suggest he can get better in time. However, the one who appeals most for an immediate impact is the Godolphin-owned STORMY WAVES, who cost 525,000gns as a yearling and has to be of interest for a high-profile yard that has taken a very patient approach with youngsters this season.

A field of interesting newcomers and lightly-raced sorts open to improvement. STORMY WAVES stands out on paper, as a Dubawi colt who fetched a pretty packet at the yearling sales. Arabic Legend is another son of Dubawi and much respected, while Bigbertiebassett outran his odds at Newbury on debut and is the pick of those with experience.

Going up in trip is logical for Miss Cynthia and having made a satisfactory return in a fillies-only race at Leicester, she may well go on to eclipse her opening mark of just 71. Lordship also warrants consideration back in a handicap after winning a novice with something in hand over 1m4f at Chepstow a fortnight ago. However, preference is for FAIR DINKUM, who has the more proven stamina and that can give him a vital edge at this stage.

MISS CYNTHIA represents a yard in red-hot form, and with stamina also certainly her forte, she could be the way to go upped in trip on this second handicap start. Lordship is an obvious threat, with Fair Dinkum likely to give it another good go.

Topweight LORDSHIP (nap) bumped into a dual subsequent winner on his handicap debut and has since opened his account in a novice.

However, they may both have their work cut out attempting to stop JOEY STEEL recording his third career win. Christian Williams' 10-year-old was last seen finishing third at Warwick last month and that form has been given numerous boosts since, with the runner-up, Junior Massini, going on win three races on the spin.

Not a convincing bunch and it may pay to side with Irish-raider CARNET DE STAGE down in class on the back of a pretty encouraging run 3 weeks ago. Bells Express is the unknown quantity on chase debut, with Joey Steel dangerous if on a 'going' day.

Back at a more suitable trip, ONENIGHTINTOWN can gain a third chase win.

PLEDGEOFALLEGIANCE recorded a first career success when upped to this sort of distance at Redcar and an 8lb rise in the ratings may not be enough to prevent the son of Sea The Stars from going in again. Campaign Trail offered plenty to work on with his second-placed finish at Salisbury in May and is feared most with that reappearance under his belt. Last-time-out Leicester winner Double Oban reverts to handicap company and completes the shortlist.

Not much to choose between PLEDGEOFALLEGIANCE and Campaign Trail on paper, the verdict narrowly going towards Sir Mark Prescott's gelding, who showed a willing attitude in making all to win at Redcar last time. Campaign Trail himself is unexposed as a stayer and appeals as one who is certain to progress over longer distances, with the pair clear of Double Oban in order of preference here.

The choice is CAMPAIGN TRAIL who finished second on handicap debut last time. His breeding suggests he may improve again for 1m6f.

The daughter of Zoustar is expected to be tough to catch from the front and her main dangers look to be Theoryofeverything and Tafreej, who has been crying out for the step up to a mile all season.

Some useful 3-y-os in this handicap with ZOUZANNA fancied to take another step forward and supplement her Haydock victory. Tafreej is feared most ahead of Theoryofeverything.

A tight handicap in which all five are interesting. TAFREEJ continues to give the impression that there's a personal best imminent.

Add to that he brings winning C&D form to the table, which is key around here, and he ticks plenty of boxes. Whataboutyeh and Humps And Bumps are also expected to go well, with the former feared most given he's shaped with promise on both chase starts so far.

PRINCE CLENI hasn't looked back since sent over fences and is fancied to defy a 6 lb rise in the weights and follow up his Southwell success. C&D winner Lights Are Green also arrives on the up and rates a big threat, while Market Rasen runner-up Whataboutyeh merits consideration too with few miles still on the clock.

Whataboutyeh can progress over fences but C&D winner LIGHTS ARE GREEN is preferred.

JACK DANIEL found positive tactics to his liking when triumphing on his return to action at Thirsk in May and a similar approach may be good enough once more, with a 4lb rise looking more than fair. Absolute Dream posted his best performance of the season with a third at the same venue and isn't taken lightly off the same mark. The in-form Bird Of Play also enters calculations if seeing out the trip.

ABSOLUTE DREAM is on a good mark and looked back in form at Thirsk last time, so this C&D winner is worth taking a chance on. Jack Daniel is a worthy adversary on the back of a successful reappearance and Bird of Play seems likely to run well again.

The choice is ABSOLUTE DREAM (nap) who looked to be on the way back when third off this mark at Thirsk earlier this month.

Rum Cocktail has run with plenty of credit on both starts since joining the Ed Walker team and she can give the selection most to think about, along with the capable Lipsink.

RUM COCKTAIL has caught the eye both starts for Ed Walker, and now eased in class, she's a very appealing candidate. Lipsink and Champagne Sarah also arrive in good order and can offer most resistance.

A trappy handicap with an unsettled forecast complicating matters. With rain about the suggestion is FAUSTUS.

A few of these are respected from their time in point-to-to-points, with Time For Joy, a winner of a Toombridge mares maiden, and Big In Milan, who was placed twice between the flags in Ireland, arguably looking the pick of the bunch. However, this looks a good opportunity for BALLYQUIN BAY to make a winning start for his new connections. He sets a reasonable standard under Rules based on eight starts for Gordon Elliott and appeals strongly under in-form rider Jamie Hamilton.

This isn't much of a race and TIME FOR JOY has already won between the flags, so he's preferred to Ballyquin Bay, who has the best Rules form to date. Slate Lane has joined a canny operation and returns from a break, so he's worth monitoring in the betting.

Despite his heavy Irish defeats, SLATE LANE still makes most appeal.

Ruth Carr's mare remains on a workable mark and she is preferred to Hamilton third Strangerontheshore and Lady Wormsley, who has the services of Oisin Murphy to call upon this time around. Paco's Pride is capable of being in the shake-up as well.

LADY WORMSLEY made a pleasing return in a Kempton handicap that has worked out well and she can go close if proving as effective on turf. Ellade is on a tempting mark and hasn't run a bad race this season, while Paco's Pride could also get involved.

Oisin Murphy is a good booking for LADY WORMSLEY who has made steady progress since sent into handicaps.

Class Member appears to pose the biggest danger after scoring at Leicester, but she must negotiate a 3lb rise in the ratings for that short-head success. Jacquelina should also be thereabouts.

A trappy handicap in which CLASS MEMBER is taken to follow up her maiden Leicester success off a 3 lb higher mark. In-form pair Miss Belladonna and Jacquelina seem sure to have a say too and can fight it out for minor honours behind George Boughey's consistent filly.

Preference is for JACQUELINA, who has remained in very good form since getting off the mark at the start of this month.

Her stamina is proven from her days in point-to-points and that may give her a crucial edge over Fontwell scorer Baby Sham, who is respected but faces a tougher task now dropped in trip off 6lb higher. Sinndarella rates as the pick of the rest.

FABREZE sprang a bit of a surprise at Uttoxeter last time but she appeals as full value for that victory and can follow up under a penalty here. Fellow last-time-out winner Baby Sham is also highly respected dropped in trip, with Sinndarella and Mrs Kinsella others who could have a say.

After a good win at Uttoxeter last week, FABREZE (nap) makes most appeal.

LUNA MAGIC was a good winner over the stiff 1m2f at Chepstow, scoring by two lengths. The Archie Watson-trained mare, who goes well for Brodie Hampson, will have to negotiate a 4lb rise in the ratings, but that may prove lenient. Connections of Diffident Spirit will be hoping he can go one better than his second at Windsor last time, while similar applies to El Jad, who hit the crossbar here on his final appearance of 2022.

The available evidence suggests that DIFFIDENT SPIRIT is more of a force on turf but his AW handicap mark reflects that and he gets the nod on the back of a highly creditable effort at Windsor. Prince Ali was a close third in first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton recently and, provided the headgear works equally well second time round, he shouldn't be far away. More Diamonds is probably capable of better than she's been able to show thus far and is also shortlisted, along with Just Hiss.

A first win may well be imminent for BRAES OF DOUNE, who has shown encouraging signs in these cheekpieces the last twice.

MY MATE ALFIE made an excellent start to his career when going down by a neck to The Liffey over C&D, with Mountain Bear back in sixth. That sets a fair standard and he can provide Ger Lyons with a third consecutive victory in this maiden. Kortez Bay offered promise when fourth on his debut, also over track and trip, but the chief threat could come from one of the choicely-bred newcomers, with House Of Aviz, Bennu and Gloucester making particular appeal.

MY MATE ALFIE failed only narrowly to make a winning debut over C&D and can go one better now with improvement very much on the cards. Aidan O'Brien's duo Mountain Bear and House of Aviz could emerge as the chief threats and can chase home Ger Lyons's son of Dark Angel in that order.

The step up in trip looks like another plus and he should have too much for the consistent Trabajo Detecho and Awtaar, who ran a highly encouraging race on her handicap debut at Doncaster. Others to note include Bryce, Mine That Ship and Slingsbytoo.

RWENEARLYTHEREDAD escapes a penalty for Tuesday's Beverley win and has strong claims of following up. Trabajo Detecho ran well in a good race for the grade at Thirsk last time and enters calculations under an in-form apprentice. Awtaar is another to consider.

The vote goes to RWENEARLYTHEREDAD who avoids a penalty for his win at Beverley on Tuesday and shaped as though he would relish 6f.

The key form line in this contest appears to be a race over C&D earlier in the month, in which runner-up Wrath Of Hector was a place ahead of HAULFRONHOBBS, with Bankrupt in fourth. That represented a big step forward for Chris Dwyer's filly, though, and she is fancied to improve past Wrath Of Hector. Bankrupt is capable of getting closer too and can make up the placings.

The most solid-looking option is WRATH OF HECTOR, who has hit the crossbar in similar events at Wolverhampton and over this C&D on his last two starts, leaving the impression that his turn is near. Haulfronhobbs and Bankrupt were both hot on the heels of the selection here last time and are likely to be in the mix once again, while an on-song Gatwick Kitten would also have a chance.

None of these are convincing but WRATH OF HECTOR seems to go well at this track and was runner-up here 15 days ago.

ROYAL ELYSIAN arguably sets the standard on her debut second at Haydock earlier in the month and, with that run under her belt, she's expected to be a lot sharper, especially at the gates where she lost several lengths at the start. Hard To Resist is bred to have a say, with the market likely to prove informative, and you can also make a case for Windsor fifth Looby.

This looks particularly tricky. Those with experience will need to improve, and some undoubtedly will, but newcomer HARD TO RESIST looks good on paper and may well be up to making a winning start. Looby really caught the eye on debut and can be expected to take a big step forward and outrun her odds, while Dazzling Star should improve for her Kempton debut.

Those to have raced don't set a daunting standard and William Haggas may be able to provide the answer with newcomer HARD TO RESIST.

Seb Spencer's sprinter was a good winner at Ayr on her penultimate appearance and after performing well again for fourth when upped to this mark at Doncaster subsequently, she is worth sticking with. Dandy Dinmont should also be thereabouts if he's more alert at the start, while Nelson Gay isn't easily ruled out.

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and NELSON GAY is fancied to capitalise on a good mark and end a losing run for his current yard. Little Muddy is feared most in her attempt to bag a third win of 2023 ahead of Libertus who appeals as the pick of the rest for place purposes.

Nigel Tinkler may hold the key to this race and PRODIGIOUS BLUE is preferred to stablemate Dandy Dinmont.

Jessica Harrington won this contest in 2021 with Discoveries, who went on to land the Moyglare, and the daughter of Lope De Vega makes a fair amount of appeal as her dam is a half-sister to Discoveries, as well as star fillies Alpha Centauri and Alpine Star. Aidan O'Brien's pair Opera Singer and Ylang Ylang both command the utmost respect, while others to note include Finsceal Luas, Centuria and She's Quality.

A field of newcomers and YLANG YLANG stands out on paper being a very expensive daughter of Frankel. Stablemate Opera Singer is respected as well, along with Dollerina.

METABOLT displayed a nice turn of foot to quicken from last to first in a steadily-run race at Windsor and, with the possibility of more to come from this relatively lightly-raced 4-y-o, he is taken to complete the hat-trick. Next on the list is Paws For Thought, who probably wouldn't want fast ground but is otherwise appealing given his course form and handy mark. King Cabo is another to consider, along with Metabolt's stablemate Dolly Gray, but Danzan hasn't been done any favours by the draw.

This is easier than the course Class 2 PAWS FOR THOUGHT contested last time and he can make a successful return from wind surgery.

However, SWING TO THE STARS makes slightly more appeal now tasked with a stiffer test and the daughter of Sea The Stars is expected to relish this 1m2f distance. Flash Bardot and Ragosina also have the form to get involved and complete the shortlist.

This looks competitive for the grade and SWING TO THE STARS is taken to make it third time lucky in handicaps. She needs to step up judged on what she's achieved thus far but this stiffer test could be the catalyst for the required improvement. Folk Star brings potential to the table on what will be just her fifth career start and she is feared most, albeit only marginally as the in-form Moonlit Cloud, Flash Bardot and Ragosina are others with appealing credentials.

Several in-form contenders are not easy to split but SWING TO THE STARS has been shaping as if this step up from 1m will be a big help.

Vintage Clarets is just one other to consider.

BADRI is enjoying a fine season yet still looks weighted to bag a fifth win raised 4 lb for his latest Epsom success which is proving strong form. Mondammej is a long time without a win but feared most on the back of his good Doncaster second. Vintage Clarets and Intrinsic Bond complete the shortlist in an open sprint.

Three-time C&D winner BADRI (nap) is in the form of his life, having won a quality handicap at Epsom on Derby day, and can win again.

The daughter of Zoustar ran with plenty of encouragement when only weakening inside the final furlong on her handicap debut here last month and a 3lb drop in the ratings looks potentially lenient. Verhoyen, Pandora Lovegood and Midnight Fire are others to note in a competitive contest.

A stack to consider as you'd expect, with NOT EVEN CLOSE fancied to go well after a good run in a 3-y-o C&D handicap on 2000 Guineas day that worked out nicely. Vocal Studies and Limerick-winner Navagio are firmly in the mix also.

Wootton's Jewel is out of a Listed winner and commands respect, while Rukaana, a son of Dark Angel who was purchased for 60,000gns in October, completes the shortlist.

A race restricted to newcomers, and the market will offer valuable clues, but Timeform's provisional ratings for debutants point towards WOOTTON'S JEWEL, Quick Away and Timebar and they are preferred in that order.

In a newcomers race where the betting will guide the vote goes to RUKAANA, whose stable has had a few 2yo debut scorers in 2023.

FULL REGALIA offered plenty of encouragement when finishing fourth on her debut over 7f at Yarmouth recently and this extra distance may bring about enough improvement to record a breakthrough success. Beautiful Summer and Fleurir could also put their experience to good use and play a part in the finish, while any market support for newcomer Le Mans, a half-sister to dual Group 2 winner Lusail, may be worth heeding too.

A number of these will do better when handicapping but the one to side with in the here and now is FULL REGALIA, a massive eye-catcher at Yarmouth a fortnight ago and who can surely win a race like this with stacks of improvement potentially on the cards. Newcomer Le Mans has a fantastic pedigree and could figure if ready to go.

With Fleurir having disappointed so badly last time, this may be decided between AYYAB, Full Regalia and Beautiful Summer.

Al Husn was a cosy winner of a Listed affair at Ayr and appears the biggest threat to the selection, although One For Bobby got off the mark at the first time of asking for Hughie Morrison at Nottingham and can't be discounted.

NASHWA established herself at a higher level than this as a 3-y-o, winning a brace of Group 1 contests and with her reappearance run unlikely to be lost on her, she can outclass these switched to the AW. Al Husn is clear second choice on form, with One For Bobby another to consider on the back of a sparkling stable debut at Nottingham.

Last year's Prix de Diane and Nassau winner NASHWA can get back on the scoresheet, with Al Husn a stand-out danger.

Any number to consider, but LYGON STREET should blossom over this sort of trip and in receipt of weight from most of these, he's just about the most persuasive option. Votre Homme is going the right way and is feared, while Tudor City is dangerous with his reappearance behind him.

Not an easy race to get a handle on. GRADULATIONS steps up in trip with sound each-way prospects for one of the leading apprentices.

Up The Jazz was narrowly denied in similar company at York a fortnight ago and has shaped like this extra furlong can bring out further improvement.

ON BORROWED TIME is the only previous winner in the field and can defy a penalty to remain unbeaten after edging out Mimi Kakushi at Redcar last week. George Boughey's filly has the widest draw to overcome but is unlikely to be far away again now fitted with headgear. Up The Jazz went very close in the valuable York seller a fortnight ago and has obvious claims if coping with the longer trip.

The step up to 7f should play to the strengths of UP THE JAZZ, who is preferred to last week's Redcar second Mimi Kakushi.

LOVE YOUR WORK did very well to stick around for as long as he did having helped set a brisk pace at Southwell 17 days ago, and on that evidence, he's ready to add to his AW tally. Swiss Ace drops slightly in class and is a big threat, with the tricky Vindobala dangerous if she's on her game.

Overheer and Court Of Appeal both arrive on the back of a winning performance and should go well in search of a double, but they have no margin for error after going up 7lb and 6lb respectively in the ratings. Conversely, fellow last-start scorer KODIAC PRINCE could still be feasibly treated as a 5lb rise for scoring over 1m at Gowran 12 days still leaves him on a 3lb lower mark than when he won at Naas 10 months ago and he gets the nod to follow up today. Operatic Artist must be respected for Joseph O'Brien after a couple of good efforts in defeat, while Barrys Rock and Dabana are also worth a second look.

The vote goes to OPERATIC ARTIST, who shaped well when third on her handicap debut at Leopardstown and almost certainly would've finished closer than she did at Limerick last time granted better luck-in-running. She is probably capable of better than her current mark implies and the likely strong pace here is expected to work in her favour. Dabana was in good form on the AW earlier this year and is second choice ahead of Imposing Supreme and Kodiac Prince.

It may pay to side with METAHORSE starting out for a yard among the winners from an inside stall. At the other end of the weights, Pearly Star has a bigger performance in her, with Hey Lyla another to consider.

The Charlie Johnston-trained In These Shoes can be forgiven her most recent outing when down the field at Chester due to be posted in the widest stall of all and being slowly away. A return to this quicker surface was the reason given behind Havana Blue's comfortable victory on the Rowley Mile last month and is another worthy of consideration.

HAVANA BLUE got right back on the up when bagging a 7f handicap on the Rowley course here last month and a 4 lb rise doesn't look sufficient to prevent Clive Cox's Havana Grey colt from following up. Dark Trooper should strip fitter for his recent Kempton eighth after an absence and is rated next best ahead of In These Shoes, who seemed unsuited to Chester's turns last time and can get back on track.

This could turn out rather muddling with no definite front-runner in the field but HAVANA BLUE should have more to offer at this level.

Valtellina ran much better than her odds predicted when fifth at Newmarket on debut and improvement is likely.

LOWTON had a bit in hand when confirming the abundant promise of his Doncaster debut at Leicester last time and with plenty more to come he's capable of conceding weight all round. Valtellina seems sure to step up on her opening run, with Chelsea Square a danger away from firm ground.

Having caught the eye when fifth on last month's debut at Newmarket, VALTELLINA earns the vote on her second start.

Wind In Your Sails boasts a similar profile and is a viable alternative.

MARKET VALUE looks to start life in handicaps on an attractive mark so this upwardly-mobile daughter of Siyouni makes plenty of appeal. Ralph Beckett's Sea The Stars filly also has better days ahead of her though and rates a big threat to William Haggas' filly on her handicap debut too. Dubai Crystal and Sparks Fly also need factoring into an intriguing handicap.

Low-mileage 3yo MARKET VALUE (nap) was nicely on top in a Ripon maiden last time and can follow up on handicap debut.

SATURN has a tremendous pedigree and starts out in what might not be a strong maiden for the track, so she's worth chancing to make a winning start before going on to better things. Ultra Fine is another notable newcomer and Kadeen is open to improvement after a mildly encouraging debut.

Peace Man will pose the biggest threat, given he is also chasing a hat-trick, although John and Thady Gosden's runner will have to negotiate a 7lb rise in the ratings, while better can be expected from Like A Tiger.

LIKE A TIGER created a fine impression when winning on the Rowley Mile in April and is probably better than he was able to show in a listed contest here on that course last time. He gets the verdict dropped back into a handicap, though Godolphin's handicap newcomer First Sight will surely prove a stern rival, with the hat-trick seeking Peace Man and The Parent others to consider in a hot contest.

Gosden-trained PEACE MAN has had four races and improved in leaps and bounds to win twice at Windsor, impressing on his handicap debut.

ECCLESIASTICAL had slid down the weights for his former yard but got off the mark for Tristan Davidson at the second attempt last time and can follow up under a penalty here. Soul Seeker has often contested stronger company than this and is most feared after a couple of good efforts, with Astapor and Therehegoes others to consider.

Soul Seeker isn't opposed lightly from a good draw but preference is for ECCLESIASTICAL, who won comfortably at Ripon last week.
