14:05 Gowran Park Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A maiden lacking in depth and the Oaks-winning duo Dermot Weld and Chris Hayes can strike here with SETTLEMENT. The 86-rated daughter of Kingman was touched off at Cork last term and ran respectably in a stakes race won by the Oaks fifth at the Curragh. A little keen on last month's reappearance at Naas, she probably bumped into two useful rivals and this looks a good opportunity. Quatrain, a half-sister to a Group 2 winner, showed promise when second in a course and distance maiden in April and looks the main threat to the selection. Nunc Est Bibendum, a half-sister to four winners from the family of Irish Derby winner Grey Swallow, makes some appeal on pedigree.

SETTLEMENT matched the pick of her 2-y-o form returning from 7 months off when placed at Naas recently and Dermot Weld's charge can put her experience to good use and strike. Second choice is Quatrain, who found just one too strong over C&D on debut just under 6 weeks ago, with debutantes Lightning Legs and Pauline's Dream taken to fight out third spot.

Unless there's something lurking amongst the newcomers then this should concern SETTLEMENT and Quatrain.

14:15 Ayr Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Haazeez was producing all of his best work at the finish when fifth on his racecourse bow at Newbury just over a fortnight ago and left the impression that he could take a big step forward. Triple Charged displayed signs of greenness on his first start at Ripon and better is expected from Karl Burke's colt, but the vote goes to newcomer ELECTROLYTE. Bought for 220,000 pounds at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up, connections recently had an impressive debut winner at Bath, who was also purchased from the same sale, and a big run is anticipated.

HAAZEEZ very much caught the eye on his recent debut at Newbury, finishing with running left. He's open to significant improvement and will win races, starting with this one. Newcomer Electrolyte was a £220,000 buy at the Breeze-Ups and looks the obvious danger.

Lambourn trainer Archie Watson is among the winners with his 2yo newcomers and £220,000 breeze-up buy ELECTROLYTE gets the nod.

14:20 Listowel Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MA BELLE ETOILE should improve a bit from her initial run over hurdles at Tipperary last month and can step forward to score now. The Doyen mare was a bumper winner at Limerick last November and ran in a couple of hot contests subsequently. She shaped with promise when fourth to Rockstown Girl recently and will have learned a bit from that. Magic Dawn ran well at Tramore last time when slightly hampered before the last. She was staying on again when fourth to Gaillimh A Run and may be able turn around that form with Russellsbelle, who finished third then. That rival has run below par at Tipperary since.

MA BELLE ETOILE made a promising start over hurdles at Tipperary 3 weeks ago and this looks a good chance for the bumper winner to quickly open her account in this sphere. Magic Dawn and Cappacurry Ealu are feared most.

A bumper winner, MA BELLE ETOILE ran a solid race on maiden hurdle debut at Tipperary and with improvement likely from that can score.

14:30 Brighton Stakes (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

FAI FAI has to top the shortlist after running on well over a furlong shorter to score by a neck on the Lingfield all-weather last week and he makes plenty of appeal dropping into this company. Broxi arrives boasting an unbeaten C&D record (2/2) and has to be respected, leaving Mc's Wag as the perhaps the best option for the minor placing.

A few with chances but BROXI wasn't seen to ideal effect when fourth at Leicester last time and can also boast winning C&D form so edges the vote. Tony Carroll's duo Voltaic and Kondratiev Wave both bring solid credentials to the table too and can chase home Ivan Furtado's 6-y-o.

The vote goes to VOLTAIC, who has form figures of 2223 at this track and should get a decent pace to aim at on this drop back in trip.

14:35 Gowran Park Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TIFFANY MAE took a big step forward from her handicap debut when finishing fifth in a higher grade at Cork. Now taking on older rivals for the first time, she may be progressive enough to cope and stepping up to a mile promises to suit. Manhattan Dandy has become a consistent performer in this grade and recorded his third career win at Leopardstown in April. He has been placed twice at this venue since then and should be thereabouts again. La Dame Blanche is a course and distance maiden winner who was second off this mark in the autumn. Returning from seven months off, she starts out for a new yard and drops to this grade for the first time.

RANKO EXPRESS has tasted success here before and made a solid start for a new yard at Cork, so he's preferred to Manhattan Dandy, who ran with credit over 7f here last time. Leviosa is also considered with blinkers back on.

Plenty of well-exposed runners. It may be worth taking a chance with the three-year-old TIFFANY MAE who has the potential to improve

14:45 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DESERT QUEST took a step in the right direction when runner-up at Musselburgh on his return to turf last time and the C&D winner has every chance of getting his head back in front. Laudable (second) and Yakhabar (third) were only separated by a short head when meeting over C&D last month and the pair are both of interest once again. The former does need to bounce back from his run at Beverley on Wednesday, but the switch of headgear might just sweeten him up.

DESERT QUEST arrives in top form so this C&D scorer is fancied to regain winning ways at the chief expense of Yakhabar who is weighted to go well. Crystal Guard is on a long losing run but can also have a say in an open handicap.

Two-time AW winner YAKHABAR was a good third over C&D three weeks ago and is taken to break his duck on turf. Laudable is feared.

14:50 Listowel Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MALBAY MADNESS ran well when chasing home Barrier at Tramore last time and looks capable of striking now. The Wings Of Eagles gelding stayed on into second then behind a 111-rated rival and a similar effort should be enough to land a moderate looking contest. Major Barry showed significant improvement last time on nicer ground when chasing home Jump Allen in a Killarney bumper. He has jumping experience from point-to-points and could be a danger today. Frankendael won twice on the Flat in England and is one to note in the market on his jumps debut.

MALBAY MADNESS, Feud and Frankendael are closely matched judged on their Flat exploits but the first-named has the benefit of hurdles experience and he gets the nod on the back of a solid effort at Tramore last time. Feud could be the one for the forecast. Major Barry chased home a Willie Mullins-trained newcomer in a bumper last time and he merits respect on debut over hurdles, while Ollie La Ba Ba will be a danger to all if able to get back on track.

Left with too much to do in a bumper last time, MAJOR BARRY can make a winning hurdling debut at the expense of Malbay Madness

15:00 Brighton Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Ayr second Mutamanni may prove popular here after being caught close home over a fraction further last time out. However, that wasn't much of a race and he won't have his own way at the head of affairs with Rawaasi equally happy on the front end. Newcomer JUST TEN HIGH could be the one if he settles behind the front runners with him boasting a smart pedigree, being a half-brother to Group 3 winner The Cheka.

MUTAMANNI was caught only at the death at Ayr a fortnight ago, taking a step forward from her Yarmouth debut fourth which is looking good form, and he's preferred to Rawaasi, who has had plenty of chances and failed to keep straight when a beaten favourite once again on her comeback.

This should revolve around Rawaasi and MUTAMANNI and the vote goes to the latter who had a near miss at Ayr 12 days ago.

15:05 Gowran Park Handicap 9.5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Consistent in defeat over hurdles during the winter, WHIMSY had You Owe Me Money a place behind when runner-up at Sligo last month. Unlucky in running on that occasion, Anthony McCann's filly then bumped into a smart rival when again finding one too good over 1m4f at Leopardstown. A dual Flat winner when trained in Britain, she can gain a first win on Irish soil. Nostringsattached also relegated You Owe Me Money to third when making a winning return to action at Cork. She's now 7lb higher and connections will hope that the ground doesn't dry out too much. Simply Sideways beat Independent Expert over 1m here last month and may be capable of further improvement.

INDEPENDENT EXPERT finished half-a-length behind Simply Sideways when the pair finished first and second here last month but on these revised terms, she's taken to gain her revenge. Of the rest, Star Kissed is of interest back in trip.

Perhaps the safest choice is INDEPENDENT EXPERT who has a fighting chance of reversing 1m course form with Simply Sideways

15:15 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Irish contender LITTLE EMPIRE has made a decent impact since beginning his visits to the UK with a victory at Wolverhampton backed up by a placed effort at the same track. The four-year-old is unlikely to have any issues with the switch to turf and remains with the scope for further improvement. Paco's Pride was placed over C&D last time and is expected to be competitive once again, while similar comments apply to Young Fire.

Having dropped a long way in the weights, YOUNG FIRE is back in good order, perhaps an unlucky loser at Redcar on Tuesday given he was denied a clear run. He makes plenty of appeal, with unexposed Irish-raider Little Empire feared most, ahead of Paco's Pride.

The lightly raced Irish challenger LITTLE EMPIRE (nap) has been in good form on AW of late and earns the vote on his turf debut.

15:20 Listowel Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

REDWOOD QUEEN was given a fine hold-up ride by Philip Byrnes to score at Tramore on Friday evening and she can land her hat-trick now. The Mahler mare came late to pip Macinamillion in a competitive enough heat the other day and was a cosy winner at the line. She can defy a 7lb penalty. New York Style could be nicely treated on her handicap debut and looks a potential danger. The Robin Des Champs mare was turned over at a short price when chasing home Cash The Cheque in a Tipperary maiden hurdle last month and is still unexposed. Only A Dollar was a good winner at Clonmel on her last outing and is another obvious contender.

REDWOOD QUEEN is thriving and can complete the hat-trick. New York Style could have more to offer now handicapping for top connections, while Itsallabouteve is also in with a shout.

Despite carrying a mandatory 7lb penalty last week's Tramore winner Redwood Queen can complete the hat-trick

15:30 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Alshimali is bred to be better than we have seen so far and is worth a market watch ahead of his handicap debut. Red Cloud ran his best race yet when second here over 7f last month and he could be the biggest danger to BLENHEIM STAR. An eased down winner at Ripon last week, he runs carrying a 6lb penalty and may double up if handling these quicker conditions expected here.

BLENHEIM STAR cranked it up a notch when a smooth winner at Ripon on Thursday and she looks ahead of the game under a penalty. Having been punted on reappearance here a fortnight ago, Red Cloud shaped well in second and there should be plenty more to come from him give his lowly mark. Dashing Donkey completes the shortlist.

Several have claims but RED CLOUD edges preference over Blenheim Star and Dashing Donkey.

15:35 Gowran Park Stakes 9.5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A decisive winner over a mile here in April, MATAARIKI may be able to land the inaugural running of this valuable contest. The daughter of Cracksman will need to take another step forward from that debut but it looks significant that Dylan Browne McMonagle has chosen to ride her ahead of 93-rated stablemate Je Zous. Ocean Of Dreams was found to be lame after trailing home in a Group 3 at Leopardstown on seasonal debut. He was a ready winner of his sole juvenile start and could easily bounce back. Course maiden winner Vestigia ran creditably in a Group 3 last time while Kinesiology made a winning return at Cork and can also contend.

Lots of these offer potential but it's hard to side against Joseph O'Brien's Cheshire Oaks fourth GALILEO DAME who can quickly resume winning ways now her sights are lowered. Ocean of Dreams also reverts to calmer waters and could emerge as the main danger, although Soldier's Empire, Babich and Fleur de Chine are others worthy of consideration in a very open event.

The richest race ever staged at Gowran Park. There are loads to consider but MATAARIKI looks a filly packed with potential.

15:45 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WESTERNESSE did well to finish half a length behind the winner in third after rearing up when the stalls opened at Ripon last time and, provided his antics at the start don't become a habitual occurrence, he can go two places better off an unchanged mark. Vocal Studies made a pleasing start to life with this stable when running out a game winner over a mile at Thirsk last month, while Boy Douglas completes the shortlist for a trainer who is operating at a 38 percent strike-rate at this venue this year.

VOCAL STUDIES made a successful start for his new yard at Thirsk a month ago and is worth a chance to follow up at the possible expense of Westernesse, who sports a first-time visor on the back of a solid effort. Boy Douglas is another one to consider.

Preference is for VOCAL STUDIES, who won at Thirsk on his stable debut and remains well handicapped. Boy Douglas is a danger.

15:50 Listowel Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SUMMER TIDE looked to be running at a higher level over fences on his return this spring, winning on his return at Cork before a couple of solid efforts behind decent rivals, and a rating of 111 looks like one he can exploit back over timber. Woodstream Lad comes here after a cosy win on his return at Clonmel but a 9lb rise and a step up in grade makes things a bit tougher. Senecia got home by a head from So Scottish at Killarney just over three weeks ago and the runner-up may turn the tables on a couple of pounds better terms.

COMFORT ZONE's hurdles wins have come at around 2m and he looks the way to go after a good run in a hot handicap at the Punchestown Festival. Minx Tiara and So Scottish are a couple of the other likely players in a competitive contest.

It could pay to side with the improving WOODSTREAM LAD to confirm Clonmel form with War Correspondent

16:00 Brighton Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ON THE CARDS made a pleasing handicap debut when hitting the frame over a mile at Bath last month and the handicapper may have been kind to drop him 1lb for that effort. With the step up in trip likely to unlock further improvement, this appears to be a suitable opportunity to shed the maiden tag. The main danger might be Twilight Guest, who wasn't disgraced in fourth at Yarmouth last time and it would be no surprise to see him get involved, while Semser is another to consider.

Impossible to rule out any of the sextet, but preference is for UNCLE DICK, who has already won twice over 1m here this year and is fancied to add to that tally stepping back up in trip with his usual cheekpieces reapplied. On The Cards remains unexposed, so he can give the selection most to think about, with Douglas Dc rounding off the shortlist.

This looks tricky but the lightly raced 4yo ON THE CARDS gets the vote ahead of Uncle Dick and Twilight Guest.

16:05 Gowran Park Maiden 9.5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The Joseph O'Brien-trained BAD DESIRE looks to have been found a nice opportunity to get off the mark. A son of Wootton Bassett, the colt has run with credit in stronger maidens than this of late. His Cork third, when just behind a subsequent winner, reads well in the context of this race. It will be disappointing if he can't get the job done at the fifth time of asking. Subjugate has been staying on well enough at the end of his races to suggest he is worth stepping up in trip. However, it is worth bearing in mind that his full-brother never won at distances in excess of a mile. Inner Success needs to step up on his first two runs but is lightly raced so remains open to improvement.

DURAJI is a full brother to the top-class Ghaiyyath and starts out in a winnable affair, so he's marginally preferred to Bad Desire, who is the clear pick of those with experience. Lord Raven is another one to consider with improvement on the cards.

With an official rating of 89, BAD DESIRE sets a decent standard of form. His experience may give him an edge over Duraji

16:15 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This represents an ease in grade for AYR POET and, on the back of a decent third on his seasonal reappearance over C&D last month, he gets the vote to return to winning ways. Life On The Rocks showed a willing attitude to get up in the shadows of the post over 1m2f at Redcar last week and, off an unchanged mark sporting a first-time visor, he warrants the utmost respect. Comfortable last-time-out winner Redondo also enters calculations.

A few in with a squeak but REDONDO showed improved form to land a second success of the season at Hamilton last month and with better still to come as his stamina is drawn out further, Daragh Bourke's 3-y-o gets the nod to follow up at the expense of Ayr Poet, who drops down in class and boasts a superb record at this venue. Life On The Rocks escapes a penalty for last week's win so he looks best of the rest.

The lightly raced 3yo REDONDO has done very well since joining Daragh Bourke and can make it three wins from six starts for the stable.

16:20 Listowel Conditions Chase 19f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Winner of this race for the past two years, EASY GAME is sure to have been primed for a repeat bid. The Willie Mullins-trained 10-year-old falls just short of the top grade but has been a thoroughly consistent performer throughout his career. Despite coming out only second best at these weights, the Nicholas Peacock-owned gelding has made this venue his home track in recent seasons. Stablemate Saint Sam is rated 5lb superior but will have to be at his very best to see off his older rival here. Last seen when pulled up in the Champion Chase at Punchestown, this is certainly an easier assignment. Killarney runner-up French Dynamite would also have to hold claims especially with the ground coming in his favour.

It could be worth siding with MAXXUM, who was a winner of the first of his two chase starts last year and has since improved over hurdles, bagging valuable listed handicaps at Leopardstown and Punchestown in recent months. The Willie Mullins-trained pair Saint Sam and Easy Game both possess a touch of class and will be big threats if on-song. The former is feared most, despite being passed over by Paul Townend.

Despite two below-runs coming into this EASY GAME (nap) could be up to winning this for the third successive year

16:30 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

OH SO AUDACIOUS has run with credit on both outings so far this campaign including when fourth at Yarmouth on her latest outing. Harry Eustace's five-year-old looks ready to strike, with her main threat possibly being Shaw Park, who showed a lot more when he finished fourth over C&D last Tuesday and he should go well. Of the remainder, Prefer The Sister makes the most appeal.

OH SO AUDACIOUS shaped well at Yarmouth last time and her course experience is a big plus, so she's preferred to Mudlahhim in a thin race. Shaw Park also arrives in form and is worth considering.

An open race in which the vote goes to the unexposed PREFER THE SISTER (nap), who didn't get any luck on her handicap debut last month.

16:35 Gowran Park Handicap 9.5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PASSIONATE has been hit hard by the handicapper following her impressive Killarney win but there are grounds for believing the Andrew Slattery-trained filly could still be ahead of her mark. Having just her second run in handicap company, the daughter of Churchill travelled strongly throughout, before powering six lengths clear of her rivals. With the runner-up going on to win his next start, that form already has a decent look to it. Annexation came from near last to first when winning over course and distance on his most recent start. Henry De Bromhead's eight-year-old is still well treated relative to his hurdles mark. Glor Tire can also get involved, with the form of her recent maiden win at this track having been boosted since.

PASSIONATE rates just the pick of the weights on the back of her recent Killarney success so edges the vote at the chief expense of See Me Through who can also boast winning recent form there. There are plenty of others to consider though in a very competitive heat, notably Annexation, Royal Pippen and Sea Eagle.

Cases can be made for loads of these but well-bred maiden winner SEE ME THROUGH (nap) appeals as one with lots more to offer.

16:45 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BOWMAN only found an in-form rival too good when finishing second over C&D last month and, off an unchanged mark, a reproduction of that effort may well suffice. Helter Skelter has posted some solid efforts in defeat this season and the application of cheekpieces can help him while he lurks on an attractive mark. Recent C&D winner Monhammer also enters calculations but inconsistency continues to be the main concern with him.

While MONHAMMER is admittedly not the easiest to predict, the fact that he won on his reappearance over C&D represented a real change given that his record when fresh has otherwise been poor. If he is in a similar mood, it's unlikely that a 2 lb nudge will be a barrier to further success. Helter Skelter will be a serious threat if going to post but, assuming he takes up his engagement at Nottingham on Sunday, Pembrokeshire and Phoenix Fire may emerge as the main dangers.

The resurgent BOWMAN bumped into a thriving winner when runner-up over C&D last time and can regain the winning thread today.

16:50 Listowel Conditions Chase 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Former Galway Plate winner EARLY DOORS has been revitalised in recent months since switching to point-to-pointing. The 11-year-old has also run well in three hunter chase starts back under Rules, including when successful at Killarney last time. In a race which his owner J.P. McManus tends to target, the Enda Bolger-trained veteran has strong claims. Vaucelet looked a hunter chaser on the rise last year but has failed to reach those same heights in two starts since January. Trainer David Christie makes the long trip down south with the nine-year-old in an effort to again a first win since December 2022. Best on good ground, he should at least get his conditions now. Course and distance winner Nice To Meet looks best of the rest.

It's hard to look beyond EARLY DOORS, who regained the winning thread in decisive fashion when taking a Killarney hunter three weeks ago. Jeremy Pass, a recent point winner and formerly a fairly useful hurdler/chase for Paul Nicholls, could be the one to follow the selection home. Battleoverdoyen and Big Girl Betty are others to consider.

Generally in good form this year and a convincing winner in a Killarney hunter chase last time, EARLY DOORS can double up.

17:00 Brighton Stakes (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Victors Dream wasn't beaten far into third at Lingfield in April and he needs to be considered. However, the vote goes to ANIFICAS BEAUTY, who has failed to fire on the all-weather so far this season, but the return to turf and booking of Tom Queally suggest she could spark a revival to get her head back in front. Bluebells Boy is another to watch out for.

This represents a good opportunity for VICTORS DREAM to finally get his head in front. Though still a maiden following 14 attempts, Marco Botti's charge has run more good races than bad ones overall and this is arguably the weakest event he has contested to date. Stryder and Bluebells Boy can fill the places.

Preference is for STRYDER, who is unexposed at this trip and looks interesting on his close second at Chelmsford in January.

17:05 Gowran Park Handicap 9.5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Despite the obvious negative about his wide draw, HANOI seems sure to play a big part here. Well supported when third at Cork on his most recent start, the Padraig Roche-trained colt kept on strongly towards the finish. With the winner of that race following up at Sligo next time, it was almost certainly a decent contest for the grade. Bizarre Dreams was noted making late headway on her third start in maiden company, when fifth at this track last month. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly should find life that bit easier now she tackles handicap company. Killeaney Bear has been running consistently in similar races of late. The Kodi Bear gelding looks likely to be involved once again.

A very open contest with HANOI the suggestion at the foot of the weights with a good-value claimer taking over. Bizarre Dreams has a bigger performance in her so she's on the shortlist, with Moutarde also of interest back up in distance.

This is a minefield but Johnny Murtagh's handicap debutante BIZARRE DREAMS is bred to be better than this level.

17:10 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Raffles Angel is the only runner here to tasted victory after scoring on handicap debut at Ripon last month easily enough, but she does have an added 7lb which suggests further improvement is required. Mick Appleby has a good record with horses from other yards and NOISY MUSIC could be interesting, leaving Kevin Ryan after her Wolverhampton second and making her handicap debut off bottom weight. Call Time is another to consider after her Bath second.

RAFFLES ANGEL did the job well when opening her account on her handicap debut at Ripon recently and she looks capable of defying a 7 lb rise in the weights. The main danger may be posed by Noisy Music, who chased home a race-fit, progressive rival back from a break at Wolverhampton and may have more to offer now pitched into a handicap for her new yard. Call Time is also high on the shortlist.

Some interesting 3yos making their handicap debuts but RAFFLES ANGEL did a good job at Ripon and should progress further.

17:20 Listowel NH Flat Race 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JUMBLE LIGHT, a staying on fourth on his racecourse debut at Tipperary last month, can improve enough to take this modest contest. Although failing to complete on four of his five starts in point-to-points, the Diamond Green gelding looked a different proposition on Rules debut. Stepping up an additional two furlongs should also suit the five-year-old. Absent since finishing seventh at Punchestown in October 2022, Mazyad has since changed stables. Now with Joseph O'Brien, the former Ballinrobe bumper winner has to be involved if ready after a long layoff. Moulane A Chroi was runner-up on his sole point-to-point start but it is difficult to quantify the form of that particular race.

MAZYAD went backwards from a winning start and hasn't been seen for 20 months, but he's moved to an excellent stable and is worth taking a chance on. Jumble Light looks the main danger and Youre A Derry Girl could feature if she strips fitter for her latest outing.

Ballinrobe winner MAZYAD returns for a top yard and could be up to defying a penalty. The market can be helpful.

17:45 Windsor Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A heady mix of well-bred newcomers and those with racecourse form, with INVINCIBLE SONG the number one pick. Third on her Newmarket debut when looking as if the experience would do her good, she should have learned plenty from that and is likely to step forward. Titian Blue is the obvious danger after her Ripon second and with the Haggas yard in among the winners, leaving Cayman Tai and Bold Impact as others to consider in a race worth watching for future winners.

TITIAN BLUE is a half-sister to several winners and shaped like a ready-made future winner herself when runner-up on recent debut at Ripon. The Blue Point filly gets the nod ahead of fellow promising types Bold Impact, Invincible Song and Cayman Tai in what has the makings of an informative contest. Several of the newcomers are appealing, too, most notably Cayman Tai's stablemate Gayedhom.

All of the runners with experience have shown clear promise. TITIAN BLUE is narrowly preferred, ahead of Bold Impact.

18:15 Windsor Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Almizan is interesting as a daughter of Night Of Thunder and with William Buick in the saddle, but her breeding suggests she may be better over further. Bourgeoisie has finished second on her last three starts and warrants respect ahead of her return, but RED PIXIE could be the one. She ran out of steam close home over further when third at Yarmouth and shouldn't suffer the same problem here.

RED PIXIE stepped forward from her debut when third at Yarmouth a month ago and there's more progress in her, so she's preferred to Gutsy Girl, who scored at Carlisle 9 months ago. Almizan is a notable newcomer.

With the drop to sprinting a likely plus, RED PIXIE gets the vote. Potentially useful Gutsy Girl is feared most.

18:30 Wetherby Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

I Got Soul looks an interesting newcomer as a daughter of Havana Grey and could go well if her inexperience doesn't let her down, but UNSPOKEN LOVE is preferred. She caught the eye when third at Thirsk on her debut despite running green and looks all set for a big run now. Eartha was ahead of her in second that day and is an obvious danger, but the selection might be open to greater improvement and can reverse the form.

EARTHA's debut second at Thirsk a fortnight ago was a promising start and she can put that experience to good use. Unspoken Love was just behind the selection in that race and there shouldn't be much in it again, with Camden Flyer perhaps the pick of the newcomers.

If taking a more direct route this time then MISS HATHAWAY may reverse Thirsk placings with Eartha and Unspoken Love.

18:45 Windsor Handicap (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

BLUE DAY made the perfect start to the handicap ranks when accounting for his nearest rival by over a length at Southwell in April. The son of Blue Point goes off a 7lb higher rating, which is unlikely to stop him from recording a double and possibly going onto better things. Moswaat ran too bad to be true when well beaten at Newmarket last time and is worth another chance, while Jimmy Speaking holds an obvious chance in pursuit of a hat-trick.

It's hard not to resist BLUE DAY, who showed plenty in his three starts as a juvenile and duly improved when making a winning handicap debut on return at Southwell. He had plenty left in the tank that day and this 7 lb higher mark should be well within reach. The hat-trick seeking Jimmy Speaking looks nailed-on for another big effort, while Dapper Valley is third choice ahead of Cajetan and Trefor.

With further progress on the cards, BLUE DAY (nap) is taken to follow up his Southwell success. Jimmy Speaking is second choice.

19:00 Wetherby Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Key Look has to be considered with five wins over this trip, four of those off this mark or higher, following a return to form when third at Catterick last month. Lockdown Lass is capable at this level, but NIGHT OF DESIRE is hard to get away from. An easy maiden winner at Chelmsford in February, she makes her handicap debut off a mark of 68 which may underestimate her ability.

GENTLE ELLEN ended her 4-y-o campaign on the up so is taken to leave behind a low-key reappearance and get back on track. Night of Desire is totally unexposed so has to command respect, with Key Look of interest at the foot of the weights.

A few of these have something to prove and they include EMINENT JEWEL, although she did have excuses for her handicap debut defeat.

19:15 Windsor Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Flindrikin got up by a head despite having a troubled passage in a class 5 event at Newcastle in January and she has to be considered on her first start on turf with Tom Marquand on board. However, she could come out second best to SILVER GUNN, who finished fourth over track and trip on his latest outing and he was dropped 1lb for that display. Marco Botti's six-year-old is a two-time course-and-distance winner and now competes off his last winning mark, so he gets the nod. Aerospace can fight it out for the minor honours.

FLINDRIKIN got off the mark at the second attempt in handicaps at Newcastle in January and this low-mileage 4-y-o is taken to continue the good work switched to turf. Silver Gunn's reappearance over C&D a month ago will have blown the cobwebs away and he's feared most.

The lightly raced Frankel filly FLINDRIKIN could have plenty more to offer for William Haggas and she is taken to prevail.

19:30 Wetherby Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It may pay to side with the relatively unexposed STRIVE, who is stepping up in trip in a first-time hood after making all at Newcastle in February. Hayley Turner keeps the ride and may be able to steer the gelding home in front once more, with Mon Etoile and Glistening Nights perhaps his biggest dangers after their recent placed efforts.

GLISTENING NIGHTS can race off the same mark as when a good recent Pontefract third so looks the way to go in this tight-knit handicap. In-form pair Likleman and Mon Etoile rates the chief dangers to Richard Fahey's 3-y-o and can chase home the selection in that order.

Handicap newcomers CARPING CAITLIN and Strive are the two suggestions against the field.

19:45 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Ten Ten Twenty produced a shock victory over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last time and he will be out to prove that success was no fluke off a 2lb higher rating. However, ANGEL ON HIGH looks the way to go. Adrian Wintle's seven-year-old hit the frame at Leicester last month and goes off an unchanged mark, while Fascinating Lips is another to keep an eye on off a career-low mark.

This is the lowest band of handicap FASCINATING LIPS has ever contested and, now expected to be at peak fitness on this third run back, he could be the answer. Last-time-out winners Ten Ten Twenty and Bond Spirit aren't obvious follow-up contenders, so Angel On High and Grey Owl head the opposition.

Recent winners Bond Spirit and Ten Ten Twenty are respected but GREY OWL can go one better than on his handicap debut.

20:00 Wetherby Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

YAZAMAN had been waiting a long time to add to his debut success when winning at Nottingham last month and Paul Midgley's charge proved it was no flash in the pan when following up at Beverley just five days ago. The six-year-old escapes a penalty for that apprentice handicap triumph and this looks an excellent chance to complete the hat-trick. Warminster was on target at Ayr last time out and he is the main danger, while Granny B appeals most of the remainder.

YAZAMAN hasn't looked back since the blinkers went on and this formerly unreliable type is fancied to bag a quick hat-trick. Warminster is next on the list on the back of his Ayr victory, with Granny B and Rogue de Vega also in the picture.

Having overcome a troubled passage last week at Beverley and with no penalty to carry, YAZAMAN (nap) stands out.

20:15 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

NOSTROMO ran an eye-catching race when staying on well to finish fourth after becoming outpaced over 1m2f here last month and connections waste no time with stepping him up in trip. Eased 1lb, Roger Teal's relatively unexposed handicapper can open his account here. Damoiseau has hit the woodwork on his last couple of starts and it would be no surprise if his turn in the winner's enclosure is just around the corner. Total Lockdown has the ability to feature in a race of this nature, but his exuberance in the early part of the race can often leave him wanting at the finish.

DAMOISEAU arrives on the back of a good effort and is well treated, so he's worth a chance to get back to winning ways despite his quirks, Mujid should come on for his reappearance and looks one to consider, while Nostromo should be considered on the back of a creditable effort.

The vote goes to NOSTROMO, who was an eyecatcher on his handicap debut here last month and looks interesting at this new trip.

20:30 Wetherby Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Wintercrack was far from disgraced when finishing second to a progressive sort at Ripon in April and, though respected off an unchanged mark, a chance can be taken on ROXANNE. Too keen to do herself justice over 1m4f at Doncaster last time, having made an extremely promising stable bow at Chelmsford, a drop in trip could suit Ed Dunlop's filly. The daughter of Soldier Hollow might be more at home on better ground, while Loughville is also noted.

A case can be made for a few of these so it is worth siding with the unexposed TANGO MAN to take a big step forward on his debut for George Boughey after breathing surgery and gain a breakthrough victory. Highwaygrey didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fourth at Ayr last time and is next on the list ahead of the handily-weighted duo Typical Woman and Clear Angel. Loughville completes the shortlist.

There are any number of reasons why TANGO MAN might take a huge leap forward on his first run for George Boughey.

20:45 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The combination of the ease in grade and the return to a mile looked to work the oracle for GREY FOX when running out a comfortable winner at Newbury a few weeks ago, and he gets the nod to defy a 5lb rise en route to bringing up the double. Racing Demon, now bidding for a hat-trick, can emerge as the main danger to the selection on the back of two impressive victories, but this rise in class asks a question of him. Darvel and Intercessor also warrant respect in what looks to be a wide-open affair.

GREY FOX has shown a liking for this track and was well on top at the finish when scoring at Newbury last time, so he's preferred to Racing Demon, who also arrives on the top of his game. Darvel can't be ruled out.

Being still well handicapped, GREY FOX has a good chance of winning this race for a second time. Darvel is second choice.

PINPOINT is fancied to quickly regain the winning thread having been an unlucky third at Redcar last time out when stumbling at the start. Nottingham scorer Smooth Silesie looks the one to give him most to do, although Sergeant Mayer can also have a big say on the back of his eye-catching Ripon fifth. Batal Dandy is another who commands plenty of respect if the fitting of cheekpieces ekes out some improvement.

A lot of these either ran poorly last time or have questions to answer at the trip. Neither concern applies to PINPOINT.
