13:45 Salisbury Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WILD CLARY showed marked improvement from his debut when he finished runner-up to a well-bred type at Newbury 13 days ago and appeals strongly with his bid to go one better. As both Pivotal Days and Van Aert have improvement to find, it would come as no surprise to see expensive purchases Luther and Dash Of Azure fighting it out for the forecast slot, with the former tipped to win that battle based on him being a half-brother to a winner over this trip.

WILD CLARY has shown plenty in a couple of warm events at Newbury, confirming debut promise with a taking effort behind an exciting rival a fortnight ago, and he's the one to beat. Luther and Dash of Azure are both interesting newcomers and a market move for either would be interesting.

Wild Clary is the form pick, while DASH OF AZURE and Luther are interesting newcomers who look potentially above average.

14:05 Carlisle Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KITTEN IN THE SKY ran promisingly when second at Catterick on her racecourse debut eight days ago and is likely to be tough to deal with if she handles the forecast faster going and stiffer finish here. Bred for speed, the selection shades the vote over Bantz, who improved from his debut to fill the runner-up spot in a similar event at Wolverhampton latest. The newcomers look an ordinary bunch, so perhaps Music History can emerge as best of the remainder if building on her Wetherby debut.

KITTEN IN THE SKY made a bright start at Catterick last week and must be the call with improvement on the cards. Bantz should have more to offer, while Two Shoes and Causin A Commotion are appealing newcomers.

The filly KITTEN IN THE SKY made a promising start to her career when runner-up at Catterick last week and is taken to go one better.

14:15 Salisbury Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

With recent winning form being so thin on the ground, most of these have received leniency from the handicapper. From 15lb below his last winning mark, WHENTHEDEALINSDONE particularly appeals as one who is dangerously well treated and looks worth chancing on the back of some improved recent displays. Beyond Equal, Dusky Lord and Treacherous can all get competitive on these terms, but Cuban Breeze may be the biggest threat to the selection with ground conditions set to be ideal.

A far-from-prolific bunch of sprinters but several lurk on a dangerous mark. WHENTHEDEALINSDONE isn't as good as we was but a quartet of in-frame efforts this season confirm he's in excellent heart, so he looks the way to go. Treacherous and Beyond Equal could be the main threats.

On current form WHENTHEDEALINSDONE, Beyond Equal and Ancient Times look the strongest options.

14:23 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DONNIE AZOFF returned from a 229-day break to score readily over hurdles at Stratford last Tuesday and he could prove difficult to beat off a 3lb lower mark back over fences. In This World has finished runner-up in each of his three chase appearances to date and it may well be a similar story here, while Huntingdon second Stumps Or Slips should also give a good account.

A literal reading of MIX OF CLOVER's third-placed finish in a hunter at the beginning of the month suggests he's on a good mark back in a regulation handicap having rejoined his former yard. He's therefore marginally preferred in favour of In This World and Donnie Azoff.

Several have possibilities but IN THIS WORLD gets the vote ahead of Donnie Azoff and Stumps Or Slips.

14:35 Carlisle Stakes (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Bountiful impressed when making all in a fillies' maiden at Thirsk last month and, with both the runner-up and third from that contest winning since, the form looks solid. However, MEGALITHIC chased home a potentially useful type when finishing second in the Woodcote at Epsom and the Ralph Beckett-trained colt shades preference based on the potential for more to come. Cashlyn Cavalier, a half-brother to four winners, is another notable debutant from the in-form Karl Burke yard to consider if supported in the betting.

A poor turnout for the money, with BOUNTIFUL taken to follow up her Thirsk victory. Megalithic looks a winner-in-waiting but faces much quicker conditions here and will be suited by longer trips, similar comments also applying to Shamal Wind.

Preference is for Thirsk winner BOUNTIFUL, who could have even more to offer now upped to 6f. Megalithic is a danger.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

TANAGER was a creditable third in the Woodcote at Epsom on Oaks day and has a major chance of a first career success if he handles the forecast quicker ground. Sergio Parisse looked a work in progress but still managed to win a maiden at Windsor last month, so is highly notable kept to novice company. Similar comments apply to Oakley Boy, who won readily on Polytrack at Chelmsford and should have more to offer back on turf.

Having shaped with plenty of promise starting out at Leicester, SERGIO PARISSE duly built on that when scoring at Windsor a week later and he looks a juvenile to keep on the right side. Oakley Boy did it nicely at Chelmsford so is second choice, with Pay Attention likely to step up on a considerate introduction.

Windsor scorer SERGIO PARISSE is first choice ahead of Tanager, Pay Attention and Brighton Boy.

BELLS OF STAMFORD gets a tentative vote in what looks a tricky puzzle for punters to solve. He responded positively to the first-time cheekpieces/tongue-tie combination (both retained) when runner-up at Warwick four weeks ago and should go well off an unchanged mark. Eightytwo Team has placed on her last couple of starts and will likely give another good account, while Dirk Gently and Head On are other names to note.

GETTHEPOT is capable of winning from this sort of mark and he was probably just blowing off the cobwebs over C&D last time, so he's fancied to get back to form and land this weak affair. Bells of Stamford is an obvious threat if the cheekpieces continue to have a positive effect and Head On isn't completely ruled out.

Three-time point winner GOUAZEC, who has made a very quiet start to his rules career but might come into his own on this chasing debut.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Several have good chances, including Ludo's Landing, who got back to winning ways at Beverley last time out and rates a player off just 4lb higher. Gallant Lion has won under the in-form William Buick before and can also go well reunited that rider. Gibside and Born Ruler are others worth a mention, as each stays the trip well and represent shrewd operations, but preference is for the improving SEA THE THUNDER. The weight-for-age allowance makes him the most appealing option on just his third handicap start.

SEA THE THUNDER showed improved form when runner-up at Leicester on his latest outing, pulling well clear of the remainder, so he is taken to open his account with more still to offer on only his third handicap start. He can see off the challenge of Gallant Lion, who has been in good heart for Alan King this year, while Gibside could also be in the mix.

Plenty need respect but GIBSIDE gets the vote ahead of Ludo's Landing.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

An open contest in which only a tentative vote can go to CHANGE FOR GOOD. A winner at Epsom on his debut, the son of Blue Point was highly tried thereafter and once again faced a stiff task when reappearing in a conditions event at Goodwood last month. Ollie Sangster's new recruit could be a different proposition now sent handicapping though, with Crown Estate and Leuven Power put forward as the most likely dangers.

CROWN ESTATE is on the up and, with cheekpieces applied, he's fancied to go one better taking on older horses for the first time. Leuven Power is a danger back at the scene of last year's win and Change For Good isn't one to write off.

Preference is for in-form CROWN ESTATE (nap), ahead of the C&D winners Leuven Power and Bluelight Bay.

15:23 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 3) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

CAPTAIN MORGS wouldn't be the most reliable, but he bounced right back to form on his return to fences at Aintree last month and a 6lb rise might not be enough to stop him if arriving in the same mood. Way Out has the ability, as shown when a close second at Warwick three starts ago, but he needs to brush up on his jumping. Hometown Boy has been dropped 2lb since his latest effort and could also get competitive.

WAY OUT has 2 non-completions to leave behind but should have a race like this in him and gets the vote. Captain Morgs drops in class after his Aintree victory and can go well again if in the same mood.

Patience in WAY OUT is beginning to wear thin but he remains on a good mark and could be hard to beat if he gets round safely.

15:35 Carlisle Listed (Class 1) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

After some solid efforts in defeat in Group races last season, JABAARA showed that she retains plenty of ability when scoring comfortably in a Musselburgh Listed race over 7f latest. That form was given a timely boost with the third, Soprano, landing the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last week, and Roger Varian's filly looks well capable of bringing up a Pattern-race double here. Star Music was outclassed in the 1000 Guineas last month, but easing in grade on her stable debut, a revival is not out of the question. Navassa Island completes the shortlist with the step back in trip promising to suit.

A range of abilities on show with black type on offer and JABAARA will take some stopping, even under a 3 lb penalty, having recorded a recent win in this grade at Musselburgh. The return to 7f will suit Irish raider Navassa Island and she's feared, along with Key To Cotai.

Roger Varian's improving JABAARA holds the clear edge on form and she rates a confident choice to follow up her stylish Musselburgh win

15:45 Salisbury Maiden (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Lord Of Love sets the standard with an official rating of 85 and would be hard to beat if running to form, especially if the application of first-time cheekpieces were to spark further improvement. However, the vote goes to GLENDOWER, who shaped with significant promise over the extended mile at Nottingham on his debut and looks set to be suited by a step up in trip. Galileo filly Dramatic Quest, a 675,000gns purchase and a full-sister to a handful of useful types, is worth monitoring in the betting market ahead of her racecourse bow.

This step up in trip promises to suit GLENDOWER, who made a highly encouraging start to his career at Nottingham and the booking of Jim Crowley adds to his appeal. South Pole is an interesting recruit for the in-form George Boughey yard and he could prove to be a bigger threat than Lord of Love, respected though that rival is. Newcomer Dramatic Quest is one to monitor closely in the betting.

Provided he takes to the cheekpieces, LORD OF LOVE could well take another step forward. South Pole is feared most.

15:53 Worcester NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having landed a point-to-point at Cothelstone last month, BORN IN THE WEST made a highly promising debut under Rules when pulling clear with the winner at Newton Abbot earlier this month. David Pipe's charge is expected to progress and put that experience to good use, although Fergal O'Brien is no stranger to success in these types of races and his representative Ahanaglogh must be respected. Archie Watson doesn't have many runners in this sphere and Desert Guest warrants a market check.

Only a handful of these have been seen under Rules and it's BORN IN THE WEST who is fancied to go a place better than when finishing runner-up at Newton Abbot 12 days ago. Ahanaglogh, Getaway Vic and Loki's Mischief look the main dangers before the benefit of market clues.

Top of the list is point winner BORN IN THE WEST, who was only just caught on his rules debut at Newton Abbot 12 days ago.

16:05 Carlisle Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

FOOLS RUSH IN has performed with more credit than the bare result suggests on his last two visits to this venue, finishing a never-nearer fourth after running on well in the closing stages on both occasions. Off the same mark as for the most recent of those efforts, a bold showing looks imminent, especially with plenty of pace forecast in this line-up. Garden Oasis (first) narrowly got the better of Star Shield (second) when the pair met over a mile at Ripon recently, and the former can confirm his superiority over that rival here, whilst also giving the selection plenty to think about.

STAR SHIELD is on a good mark and has been shaping like he's ready to strike so, with a strong pace on the cards, this could be his day. Highwaygrey should give another good account and Garden Oasis can take a hand if he doesn't go off too hard.

Tim Easterby's HIGHWAYGREY looks primed for a bold showing on the back of a good recent second here so he gets the nod in an open race.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

SILENT GLANCE followed a debut maiden success with an impressive victory in a novice race at Wolverhampton. She looks a useful filly in the making and can continue her good progress in what looks a competitive handicap. Subsequent also makes his handicap debut on the back of winning at Haydock in good style and there should be plenty more to come from him, while Whathappensinvegas has won two of his last three outings but has a 5lb rise to contend with after scoring at Hamilton. Leicester winner Spaceport is upped in class, while Sam Hawkens drops back down in distance.

The form of SUBSEQUENT's second here on penultimate outing (before he got off the mark easily at Haydock) has a solid look to it and he's bred to keep improving, so he takes marginal preference over the unbeaten Silent Glance, who has her first turf outing. Spaceport is very much one to consider, too.

Narrow preference is for SPACEPORT, ahead of Whathappensinvegas in an interesting Bibury Cup.

After racing keenly on his hurdling bow last month, it is no surprise that Emma Lavelle opts to place a hood on GUARD DUTY. Red Hugh displayed signs of promise in bumpers for Emmet Mullins and is of interest now in the care of Jake Coulson, while others to note include Either Way and Queens Venture.

Preference is for THINK FIRST, who showed plenty of aptitude for hurdling when finishing runner-up at Doncaster in November and Neil Mulholland's charge can go one better arriving fit from the Flat. Trudie Glen has shown promise in a couple of maiden hurdles this spring and she should have more to offer for her top yard, with Authoceltic and Guard Duty another couple worth considering, also.

Not seen to best effect after racing too freely on his hurdling debut, GUARD DUTY can display the necessary improvement here.

16:40 Carlisle Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BILLYB has returned in fine fettle this year, building on a pleasing comeback effort at York when scoring comfortably over an extended 7f at Beverley. A 4lb rise in the ratings is more than fair and, well drawn in stall four, he looks sure to play a leading role. Last year's winner Mostawaa arrives following a solid placed effort at York and is very much one to consider, with the talented Brandon Wilkie taking a handy 5lb off his back. On A Session warrants respect following his narrow defeat at Chester, while Million Thanks, Hale End and Yaaser are others to note.

A typically competitive Carlisle Bell, with BILLYB fancied to continue his pleasing start for the Craig Lidster yard by following up his Beverley success. On A Session did well to go so close after enduring a wide trip at Chester last time and rates as the biggest threat, with recent winners Million Thanks and Hale End also considered in a tricky heat.

There was lots to like about the way BILLYB (nap) won at Beverley and on his old form he remains well treated back up just 4lb.

16:50 Salisbury Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DELICACY gave every indication that she will be winning soon when missing out at Nottingham by only a neck on her latest start. She won't need to improve much to open her account, and looks to have stronger form than Sunny Corner. The latter finished second at Chepstow, having won a lower grade contest at Bath on his penultimate start, and should be thereabouts once again, while Sweet Sister has the most scope of the remainder as she steps up in distance for her handicap debut.

This surely rests between DELICACY and Sunny Corner, with the top-weight marginally preferred on the back of a good second to a progressive rival at Nottingham. The latter won't go down without a fight if repeating his latest effort in a Chepstow handicap but it's hard to make a strong case for any of the others.

Judged on her last two efforts, DELICACY looks poised to open her account. Sunny Corner and Sweet Sister are respected.

17:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

VIRIDIAN put in a career best when a neck second over 7f at Brighton last week and the first-time application of a visor can help him to go one better off the same mark here. Krysdanjord is more than capable of going well in a race of this nature, while Electrified and Scarlet Lady both merit consideration on their handicap debuts.

VIRIDIAN is going the right way now and, in a first-time visor, he should be able to open his account in a distinctly weak affair. Electrified is an interesting handicap debutant and Tenyatta could feature if she's back on track returned to AW.

Most of these have plenty to prove but VIRIDIAN went close at Brighton last week and has strong claims if he can repeat that form.

17:05 Worcester Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having shown a smart level of form on the Flat, BRAVE KNIGHT may prove to be a shrewd acquisition and it would be no surprise if he had enough in the locker to score on his debut for Paul Nicholls. Mokoro hasn't cut much ice in his two starts over hurdles but on his second start after wind surgery, an improved showing is not out of the question. Point-to-point winner Nowmelad found only one rival too good on his hurdles debut last month and he merits respect.

BRAVE KNIGHT developed into a fairly useful handicapper on the Flat last year for Sir Mark Prescott, winning at Windsor and Chester, so he looks to be an interesting recruit to hurdling for his leading yard. He is taken to get the better of Nowmelad, who shaped encouragingly on his hurdles bow.

Brave Knight was a talented Flat-racer but slight preference is for the proven hurdling ability of NOWMELAD.

17:15 Carlisle Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sir Michael Stoute is two from three with his runners at Carlisle over the last five years and he appears to have another outstanding chance with RED PIXIE today. The Kingman filly has shaped with plenty of promise in three starts to date and she could exploit a lenient opening handicap mark of 79. Misemerald drops in class and should make her presence felt, while Tayala and Blufferonthebus are others to keep an eye on.

QUANDARY has been threatening to come good on the all-weather this year and she can deliver on that promise now returned to turf. Indeed, the 4-y-o is likely to benefit from the switch to a stiffer track and she remains on a workable mark. Blufferonthebus is proving consistent and is feared most ahead of handicap debutante Red Pixie and Gentle Ellen.

Sir Michael Stoute's Kingman filly RED PIXIE appeals as a likely improver now handicapping so can go one better than her Windsor second

17:30 Naas Maiden 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ISLAND GIRL could be worth chancing on debut. Fozzy Stack's Starspangledbanner filly holds a Group 2 entry, so it is fair to assume she has been showing up well on the gallops and the booking of Seamie Heffernan is a positive. Aidan O'Brien's Merrily didn't run badly in fourth after missing the break on debut in Listowel and this filly is likely to be popular under Ryan Moore. Joseph O'Brien's Pompano Beach has a Listed entry and should improve from an opening fifth in Naas. Colin Keane has been booked for newcomer Dandy Magic and a market move would be significant, while Say Yes To Dreams is a sister to a very useful French filly.

MERRILY will want further ideally but is the type to improve plenty from her Listowel introduction and is hard to get away from. Island Girl and Say Yes To Dreams are appealing newcomers.

It is a bit of a surprise to see MERRILY dropped in trip after her debut at Listowel but she should be a good deal sharper now

17:35 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

VALTELLINA has a good record over C&D and her most recent third three weeks ago suggests that she could be hard to beat once again. That said, Tronido got off the mark impressively on her handicap debut at Lingfield and has to be respected, despite a 9lb rise in the ratings. Others to note are Mammy, Alabama Anna and Crocus Time.

VALTELLINA's AW record is a positive one, keeping on for a close-up third over C&D 3 weeks ago, and with the runner-up that day advertising the form since, she's a major player up 1 lb. Tronido was impressive at Lingfield and can remain competitive from her revised mark, with Alabama Anna also considered with Oisin Murphy taking over.

Preference is for TRONIDO, who kicked off her handicap career with an emphatic win at Lingfield and is open to more progress.

17:40 Worcester Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FADED FANTASY pulled clear with the eventual winner when finishing an excellent second over C&D earlier this month, and Christian Williams' charge gets the vote to shoulder a 6lb rise to go one place better this time around. Glimpse Of Glory bumped into an improver when runner-up on his handicap debut over 2m at Southwell last time and a prominent showing off an unchanged mark looks likely. Beat The Heat responded well to a first-time visor (retained) when winning cosily over 2m3f at Fontwell recently, and he completes the shortlist.

The most appealing of these is lightly-raced 4-y-o GLIMPSE OF GLORY, who promised to be well-served by this step up in trip. Bread And Butter is lurking on a dangerous mark and he is feared most ahead of Faded Fantasy and recent Fontwell winner Beat The Heat.

Back in good nick when going close over C&D at the start of this month, FADED FANTASY (nap) is still well handicapped after a 6lb rise.

18:00 Naas Handicap 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PHIL'S DREAM has been performing very consistently on the Polytrack in Dundalk and could transfer that form to turf. A victory and four placed efforts in Dundalk this year has to give him claims in this company. Sunday Sovereign is really sliding down the weights and just gets into this basement-grade handicap. He would be particularly dangerous if able to grab an early lead for Chris Hayes. Akeela showed more in third in a Sligo claimer and Ben Coen stays loyal, while Ginormous wasn't beaten far into fifth on quick ground at Navan.

Though PHIL'S DREAM has failed to shine on his four previous starts on turf, he nevertheless has bright prospects off this mark on the back of what has been a largely productive campaign on the all-weather since the turn of the year. Ginormous will be a threat if able to build on the improvement he showed at Navan recently, while Aloysius Lilius and Akeela both make some each-way appeal.

It was a big step forward from GINORMOUS last time and the 3yo can continue on his upward curve from 2lb lower

18:10 Kempton Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LIGHTNING FORCE failed to fire when favourite at Goodwood last time but she can be given another chance based on her narrow second on debut over 6f here in May. Tactical Plan and Marbush both displayed promise on their racecourse bows and should not be discounted, while any market support for either Big Sip or Infantry Officer would have to be noted.

MARBUSH made a promising start at Newmarket 6 weeks ago and gets the vote with improvement likely upped to 7f. Tactical Plan has a similar profile and is fancied. Matharu, Big Sip and Rotation are interesting newcomers and the betting should be revealing.

Preference is for TACTICAL PLAN, who made a promising start with his clear fourth of 16 at Pontefract last month.

18:20 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Caramay finished a creditable fifth at Beverley last time out when attempting to follow up her Windsor triumph, and she merits respect. Jimmy Mark is likely to give another good account of himself, although a chance can be taken on SURFER DUDE. Ollie Sangster's gelding encountered traffic problems on his stable/handicap debut recently and wasn't given a hard time of things afterwards. Eased 1lb in the ratings and with that run under his belt, he could step forward.

A low-key start to proceedings and it's PRIVATE BRYAN who is selected to make a winning return to action having belatedly opened his account at Kempton when last seen 5 months ago. He can get the better of Caramay, who has taken her form up a notch this season, while the consistent Jimmy Mark completes the shortlist.

Jimmy Mark and Caramay are probably the ones most likely to figure prominently, but a chance is taken on SURFER DUDE.

18:30 Naas Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

OVER THE BLUES showed plenty of promise in third on debut in a fillies' maiden at the Curragh. She was half a length behind the runner-up who franked the form when taking a Curragh maiden on her next outing. Puerto Rican jockey John Velazquez, who has ridden more than 6,500 winners worldwide, adds plenty of interest to proceedings as he partners De Janeiro for Dermot Weld. This Invincible Spirit filly ought to be involved after a fifth in Dundalk and a third at Fairyhouse. Up The Lane was a satisfactory fourth on her first start at Fairyhouse and improvement should be forthcoming.

The form of OVER THE BLUES' debut third at The Curragh is comfortably the best on offer and she should step forward from it, so she's the obvious choice ahead of De Janeiro, who is also open to improvement. Musical Pace is the most interesting of the newcomers.

This is not a maiden with a lot of depth and OVER THE BLUES(nap) is the one to beat after a highly promising debut

18:40 Kempton Maiden (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ORIGINAL OUTLAW was the subject of market weakness when finishing seventh over 6f at Goodwood on his debut last month, but he performed with more credit than the result suggests on that occasion, running greenly before keeping on well when the penny dropped late on. With that outing under his belt, the son of Wootton Bassett can get off the mark at the second try. Jouncy also shaped with promise when finishing sixth over 6f at Newbury on his debut recently, and can give the selection most to think about, while Time For Sandals is respected most of the newcomers.

Many of these were too green to show their true worth on debut, with ORIGINAL OUTLAW just about the pick on a more conventional track. Jouncy and Style King also represent leading yards and a leap forward from either would come as no surprise.

This can go to JOUNCY who caught the eye when keeping on to finish sixth in a big field at Newbury last month.

18:50 Ffos Las Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Enigmatic Princess (second) and Loch Leven (fourth) met at Haydock on their respective debuts and both look set to improve, along with Dollyana, whose two efforts over 6f would suggest she'll be involved now stepped up in distance. Manila Thriller landed a seller at Chester earlier this month and is also considered, but ALLA STELLA shades preference. Third to a winner who was subsequently sixth in the Chesham at Royal Ascot on her racecourse bow, that is arguably the best piece of form on offer and her yard have been among the winners of late.

MANILA THRILLER looked all stamina when edging ahead late in a Chester seller recently, and, unpenalised for that, she has good claims back in a winnable fillies' novice. Enigmatic Princess is a likely improver after her good second at Haydock, while Thine Be The Glory is an interesting newcomer for Archie Watson.

An interesting race in which ENIGMATIC PRINCESS gets the vote ahead of Alla Stella and recent Chester winner Manila Thrilla.

19:00 Naas Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SALAH BELLE showed good pace when winning sprints in Dundalk and the Curragh. In between those two outings, she disappointed on soft ground at the Curragh, but should be very at home on this quick surface. Power Mode has kept very good company in his two unplaced runs this season and Colin Keane has been enlisted by connections. Grand City Hall has to give weight away, but that is feasible. He won a Cork maiden in May and was just a neck off the winner in second at Fairyhouse this month. In-form jockey Billy Lee gets the leg up on Ohailbhic who should be in the hunt for a cheque.

MOLTOPHINO went through the race like the best horse at the weights when second at Gowran on handicap debut and he's worth a chance to go one better at the possible expense of last-time-out winner Salah Belle. Grand City Hall should also be on the premises.

It was an eyecatching run from OHAILBHIC over this C&D two starts ago and five furlongs was probably on the short side last time

19:10 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

There were legitimate excuses for HIGHLAND SPRING's low-key handicap debut over 1m1f at Musselburgh earlier this month and, after showing plenty of ability in his three qualifying runs, connections would be disappointed if a mark at 79 wound up being his ceiling. Spun To Gold wasn't seen to best effect when finishing third over 7f here latest and, off an unchanged mark, he should be there or thereabouts when it matters once more. Recent C&D winner Botas also warrants respect in a competitive affair.

SWIFT VICTORY didn't show much on turf recently but he's better judged on his encouraging C&D reappearance last month and the James Tate-trained colt could be the answer to this competitive handicap. Next on the list is Hakuna Babe, while Highland Spring remains capable of better and is also shortlisted, along with Mr Mistoffelees and Spun To Gold.

The choice is dual C&D winner BOTAS (nap) whose latest course success came in a slightly stronger contest than this.

19:20 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Better was expected from JAX EDGE at Goodwood last time out, but it was over before it started for Christopher Mason's filly as she got worked up in the preliminaries. However, a 2lb ease in the ratings means that she is back on her last winning mark and the daughter of Cable Bay could bounce back. Silent Flame (sixth) is another to come out of that Goodwood contest and Rod Millman's charge is attractively handicapped herself. Aces Wild is another to consider.

It could be worth chancing SILENT FLAME who is on a very good mark for an in-form yard and won on her only other visit to Ffos Las. Aces Wild and The Cola Kid are a couple of others to consider in an open contest.

It could pay to take a chance on the well-handicapped HALLOWED TIME bouncing back to form for a doubly represented Mark Loughnane.

19:30 Naas Listed 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ELIZABETH JANE looked very good on her sole start last term and can take this on her return to action. The well-bred Dubawi filly came from last to first in stunning style at Leopardstown last October when winning by four-and-a-quarter lengths. She holds an Irish Oaks entry. Fleur De Chine is an improver and was a good winner of the inaugural Gowran Classic earlier in the month. She has earned a shot at stakes level now and could be a big player. Aidan O'Brien saddles three in the race with Ryan Moore getting the leg up on Greenfinch. She has run well in stakes company on her two runs this season and is entitled to be thereabouts again.

HANALIA clearly has more on her plate than when landing a maiden at the Curragh last month but that form looks decent (the runner-up went one better in good style next time) and, moreover, this well-bred filly is open to plenty of improvement. Fleur de Chine, who arrives here on the back of decisive victories at Limerick and Gowran, is a much-respected main danger, while the promising Elizabeth Jane is an intriguing candidate and the likes of Bellezza, Glore Tire and Greenfinch all have claims.

BELLEZZA got a significant form boost from Birdman going close at Royal Ascot last week in the Queen's Vase and ought to go well here

19:40 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In a wide-open affair where a case can be made for many, the tentative nod goes to ARCTICIAN. Simon Dow's charge cosily accounted for a subsequent two-time winner over 7f here recently, and the suspicion is that a 3lb rise might not be enough to anchor him now stepping back up in trip. The progressive Phoenix Passion commands respect on the back of a comfortable victory when landing the hat-trick at Nottingham earlier this month, for all that a 6lb rise asks another question of him. Sunny Street and Dembe are others who merit consideration.

DEMBE split a pair of next-time-out winners when shaping up well once again over C&D a fortnight ago and this could be the day it all falls into place for him again. Whitcombe Rockstar is a big player in his C&D hat-trick bid, while the thriving Phoenix Passion seems sure to go well again also.

The choice is C&D winner LONGLAI, the form of his narrow Chelmsford defeat on his penultimate outing having been well franked since.

19:50 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Piper's Fort won on soft going at Yarmouth but has been raised 6lb for that success, and third-placed CARMARTHEN is fancied to take advantage reopposing on more favourable terms. The latter has a couple of lengths to find, but has plenty of scope for improvement on only her second start in a handicap. Both Outer Edge and Doha Bu Thaila improved for the application of cheekpieces last time, with the former preferred on his second over this distance on turf at Lingfield.

DOHA BU THAILA's handicap debut was full of promise, particularly with a view to dropping back to 6f, so she's marginally preferred to Piper's Fort, who was a ready winner a fortnight ago. Carmarthen is another to consider with cheekpieces on for the first time.

Cheekpieces appeared to suit OUTER EDGE at Lingfield, and he's in exactly the right type of race to make his presence felt.

20:00 Naas Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MR KING has been running well in some competitive handicaps this season and looks capable of scoring off his current mark. The Kingman gelding was a staying-on fourth over C&D last month and a similar effort should see him bang there. Moondharrig was in great form on the all-weather earlier in the year and has to be respected on his return from a short break. He is 7lb higher than when winning at Dundalk in early April and takes a step up in grade. Barbapapa is another that had good form at Dundalk when last seen and also has to come into calculations.

MR KING posted another sound effort when fourth in a deeper C&D handicap than this a month ago and representing an in-form yard, he has a lot in his favour. Moondharrig has been thriving on the AW and is a big threat if as effective on turf/1m, with Barnhill Rose completing the shortlist.

On recent form, top weight MR KING is a little more appealing than Barnhill Rose at the other end of the handicap.

20:10 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Waxing Gibbous comfortably justified favouritism at Newbury last time and warrants respect in her follow-up bid, but narrow preference is for the returning ASSAIL. Unlike the former, he is already a winner on the all-weather and, given his progressive profile, is likely to have improved again since his narrow defeat at Southwell in January. Good Too has joined Adam West (from Brett Johnson) since a solid third-placed effort at Windsor in May and he merits a place on the shortlist.

WAXING GIBBOUS justified strong support with a taking display to open her account at Newbury and she's a confident choice to go in again at the possible expense of Assail, who is also going the right way. Caustic is another player back down in trip/returned to AW.

It may be worth taking a chance with MISS DOLLY ROCKER who has been running over 1m lately, but she has good form over further.

DAPPLED LIGHT has been threatening to get his head back in front in handicaps, with his latest second coming over C&D on Saturday. The drop into this grade provides a good opportunity to go one better, and he can confirm earlier running at Chepstow with Romanovich. The latter finished third on that occasion and should be in the mix once again, while Tomorrow Day may prove best of the remainder returning to a mile.

DAPPLED LIGHT is in good form and can land a first success in Britain. Romanovich might be the danger.

Adrian Wintle's DAPPLED LIGHT has been threatening, so receives the vote over Monday's Chepstow second Fact Or Fable.

20:30 Naas Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

RED VIBURNUM should be a class act here dropping into maiden company. The Frankel filly was last seen finishing fifth to Fallen Angel in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh in September. She had been narrowly denied in a hot conditions event on her debut behind Irish Guineas runner-up A Lilac Rolla and recent Coronation Stakes second Opera Singer, so her form is very strong. Evening Blossom was third in three maidens before running a solid race on her handicap debut at the Curragh last month and she should be thereabouts again. Shania was a promising fourth on her debut at Leopardstown in April and is entitled to improve.

Having performed with credit in Group 1 company on just her second start in September, RED VIBURNUM has been off the track since but assuming all is well with her, she'll be incredibly hard to beat. Shania and Evening Blossom can give her most to think about.

If RED VIBURNUM is at the same sort of level that we saw her last season, she will be very hard to beat with her form working out well

20:40 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Difficult to be too confident about any of these, but PHILOS is a past course scorer and he arrives on the back of a determined victory at Chelmsford. If arriving in the same mood, a 3lb rise in the handicap may not be enough to anchor Ed Dunlop's charge. Home And Dry wears a first-time visor and is partnered by Oisin Murphy, so it would come as no surprise to see him post an improved performance. Tazaman was marginally behind the latter two weeks ago and he may benefit from that first outing since September 2022.

This could be the day when DOUBLETHETROUBLE finally gets his head in front. His record will be too off-putting for some but he was knocking on the door prior to his latest effort at Lingfield, which can be safely overlooked, and he has as good a chance as any in this field. Grand Duchess Olga is taken to reverse Chelmsford placings with Philos now that she moves back up in trip, while Ship To Shore (third choice), Home And Dry and Master Grey are others to consider.

Last time out winner PHILOS recorded back-to-back wins last year and he can do so again here. Master Grey looks the main danger.

20:50 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CURRUMBIN travels over from Ireland with a leading chance judged on last month's second at Killarney, where he was beaten only a neck on his handicap debut. He finished well clear of the rest of the field and can go one better in this. Devious Devan was no match for the odds-on favourite when runner-up in a maiden at Nottingham, but improvement is expected now handicapping, while God Bless America is another likely to go well on his handicap bow. Lady Flora may finish closer over this extra distance and makes most appeal of the rest.

Irish raider CURRUMBIN took a significant step forward when a clear second on his handicap/turf debut at Killarney last month and he is taken to go one better here. Lady Flora didn't do much wrong over 7f at Sandown recently and looks a big threat now upped to a mile. It's probably best to forgive Calm Waters for what was ultimately a below-par effort at Windsor (race may have come too soon) and she is also accorded respect.

The fascinating one is the Irish raider CURRUMBIN (nap) who lost out narrowly on handicap debut at Killarney.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses.
