KINGSWOOD FLYER seemed to be getting the hang of things late on when running on for third on debut at Leicester and, with improvement expected, he can get off the mark now. That may be at the main expense of newcomer Enchanting, who is a half-sister to Bolt Action, and Notta Nother. Markakol cost a pretty penny at the sales and cannot be ruled out either.

KINGSWOOD FLYER produced a promising first effort when third at Leicester, especially as he spent more than half of the race poorly placed on the stand rail, and he can put that experience to good use up against well-connected newcomers Markakol and Enchanting.

A few of these have already shown ability, such as KINGSWOOD FLYER who is likely to have come on from his promising Leicester debut.

GERT LUSH won in impressive fashion at Sandown last time out and the daughter of Bated Breath appeals as the one to beat once again from a 6lb raised mark. Richard P Smith merits respect following last month's Lingfield success, while Sir Plato, who has seen his mark tumble after a series of below-par efforts, cannot be dismissed at a venue where he often runs well.

GERT LUSH has a good record when partnered by Megan Jordan and the pair can combine for another win here. They Don't Know found 7f too sharp back on turf last time but had been placed off this mark over 1¼m on AW prior to that and can give Roger Teal's mare most to do.

The verdict goes to GERT LUSH who can boast a course victory and arrives on the back of a ready Sandown success

WESTERNESSE got off the mark in fine style at Pontefract and the form of that race has worked out well, with the second and third scoring in the interim. The step up in trip is another plus for David O'Meara's charge and he may have too much for Thirsk winner Menelaus, as well as Solanna, whose winning sequence came to an end at Newbury last month. Course winner Poet's Dawn and Showmedemoney can also have a say in proceedings.

WESTERNESSE produced just about his best effort yet when making his third start for David O'Meara a winning one at Pontefract 3 weeks ago and, with that form proving strong, he's fancied to make another bold bid with his rider's claim off-setting his rise in the weights. Thirsk-scorer Menelaus is a player back up in trip equipped with a visor and feared, with Jean Baptiste and Pledge of Honour also worth a look.

A few with chances but still hard to ignore the claims of WESTERNESSE (nap), who has had the form of his recent Pontefract win boosted.

An impressive winner at Windsor last June, WHATS IN THE BAG returned from a sizeable absence with a solid runner-up effort at the same track last month and he is taken to go one better. Lil Guff (third) was behind him on that occasion and should be thereabouts again, along with the consistent Lipsink and Coup De Force, who may enjoy the drop in trip.

COUP DE FORCE is a reliable sort which could count for plenty in this field, so she's selected to get off the mark for the season. Lipsink is a bit in and out these days but is sure to be bang there if backing up his latest run, while Whats In The Bag and Lil Guff are others to consider.

Coup De Force and WHATS IN THE BAG (nap) appeal most and the latter can build on his promising seasonal return.

LORDSHIP can count himself slightly unfortunate to have bumped into a couple of promising types recently, but this looks a gilt-edged opportunity for the William Haggas-trained gelding to open his account. Narrowly denied in a three-runner contest at Leicester 18 days ago, Swift Hawk ought to play a leading role, while Mountain Lake, who disappointed when sent off a warm favourite on debut at Wolverhampton, could take a step forward with that run under her belt.

LORDSHIP is going the right way and a repeat of the form he showed in handicap company at Haydock last time could be enough to see him get off the mark here. Swift Hawk is the obvious danger on the back of his Leicester near miss, although Mountain Lake did go off a short price on debut and it would be no surprise were she to prove a different proposition over this much longer trip.

TRAVEL CANDY landed the odds when winning a claimer at Beverley last month and, now in the care of Brian Ellison, she looks likely to progress further in a first-time tongue-tie. Surface To Air wasn't beaten far when sent off at 150-1 at Chepstow last time out and wouldn't need much more to play a leading role, while Up The Jazz, who hit the woodwork at Redcar 25 days ago, is another to consider.

A long-standing valuable seller but this looks an uninspiring renewal on paper even for the grade and TRAVEL CANDY, the only previous winner in the field, can make a successful start for Brian Ellison. She was in demand after landing a 5f Beverley claimer and can follow up back over 6f with a tongue tie fitted. Newcomer Regal Solitaire and Richard Fahey's Up The Jazz could be a couple of the dangers.

Preference is for UP THE JAZZ who can build on his good Redcar second and provide another winner for the in-form Richard Fahey team.

INNER CITY may have a wide draw to overcome but the way he shaped on his debut at Yarmouth, when going off favourite, gave every indication that he was a winner in waiting. Charlie Appleby's charge is bred in the purple, being out of a Group 1-winning mare, and he should have enough to see off the likes Crown Estate, who was behind a smart one on debut at Haydock last week, and newcomer Caviar Heights.

Preference is for CROWN ESTATE, who boasts a fine pedigree and should have learnt plenty from last week's encouraging Haydock debut. Inner City and Rednblue Sovereign are also potential improvers and look sure to make their presence felt in what should prove an informative contest.

This can go to INNER CITY, who wasn't beaten far when fourth on his Yarmouth debut and the run may have taken the freshness out of him.

A runner-up on both of his starts to date, Sioux Warrior is likely to be in the thick of things once again, while it would come as no surprise were Noo Point to step forward from his recent Catterick debut. Dash Power represents powerful connections and is worth a market check, but a chance is taken on MART. It was a warm contest at Yarmouth in which he made his racecourse bow, and Michael Bell's charge, a half-brother to the admirable Ornate, can progress here.

The vote goes to the sole newcomer in the line-up, DASH POWER, who is every inch a likely type on paper and a positive market move would add to his appeal. Sioux Warrior is a winner waiting to happen judged on his efforts at Doncaster and Chester, and he is a much-respected main danger. Mart and Noo Point are both open to improvement.

Charlie Hills's Sioux Nation colt SIOUX WARRIOR brings some fair form to the table and can get off the mark at the third attempt.

PINK CRYSTAL has performed well in Listed company on her last two outings and William Haggas' four-year-old makes plenty of appeal on her return off a break. She has run well fresh previously and would be foolish to dismiss, even though she is rated 11lb higher than when second over 5f at this track in August. Radio Goo Goo was all heart when landing a hat-trick over this distance at Chester last month and is expected to be thereabouts off 2lb higher, along with previous C&D winner International Girl.

PINK CRYSTAL's 3-y-o campaign was a most progressive one, winning 3 times prior to solid placed efforts on each of her last 2 starts at listed level. She remains one to keep onside despite operating from a career-high mark on return and earns the vote. Distinguished Lady very much caught the eye behind the thriving Radio Goo Goo at Chester and that pair head up the dangers, along with Crazy Luck.

All eight have a squeak but unexposed DISTINGUISHED LADY is taken to confirm the promise of her return to action at Chester last month.

Plenty of these arrive in good form and, with that in mind, only a tentative vote can go to ARAMAIC. It was interesting that the Le Havre gelding attracted market support on his return from a lengthy absence at York last month, so it would be no surprise were the unexposed five-year-old to step forward from an unchanged mark. Sweet Reward merits respect around here, as does recent Windsor scorer Youthful King, while Spirit Of The Bay and Crystal Delight can't be left out of calculations either.

SWEET REWARD pulled clear of the remainder when runner-up at Newbury last month and still looks feasibly treated. He can go one better here. Aramaic and Paradias are feared most.

There is no shortage of interest in this field and it's a close call but SPIRIT OF THE BAY is selected ahead of Sweet Reward.

An easy winner when making all at Goodwood last week, AIRSHOW can follow up at a track where he has been unlucky not to win, having been runner-up on all five starts. Rod Millman's charge gets the vote ahead of course-specialist Some Nightmare and Desert Falcon, who must be of interest off a mark of 76 on his handicap debut.

AIRSHOW escapes a penalty for his recent Goodwood success so should prove hard to beat if turning up in similar form. Desert Falcon still looked very green when scoring on his return at Lingfield and may do better still now venturing into handicaps.

SHINING BLUE appeared better than ever when winning a handicap here last month and Saeed bin Suroor's gelding looks ready to win at Listed level. El Drama is very capable on his day, as seen when finishing runner-up in the Jebel Hatta at Meydan in March, and is the obvious threat. Chichester has something to find on the ratings, but the six-year-old cannot be dismissed now eased in class.

EL DRAMA has been runner-up twice at pattern level since returning from an absence last spring and might be able to get the better of last month's impressive 7f course handicap winner Shining Blue, who isn't certain to be as effective back at 1m.

Little to separate EL DRAMA and Shining Blue on form, with a narrow vote going the way of the former.

NEW DAYRELL ran a blinder here last month having gotten loose beforehand and the son of New Approach, a full-brother to Listed winner New Graduate, is fancied to show more eased 1lb in the ratings. He finished third behind the classy Arrest on his racecourse debut last August, so his current mark of 77 ought to be well within range. Others to note include Stage Show, Penzance and Serengeti Sunset.

PENZANCE upped his game when second at Chelmsford last week and it's likely we haven't seen the best of him yet. He makes plenty of appeal. Zara's Return and Serengeti Sunset should also go well.

The eight-day break, return to turf and first-time cheekpieces all pose questions but PENZANCE is the clear pick on last week's AW 2nd.

It is difficult to look past JACQUELINA, who has finished in the first two on her last two starts over C&D and seems to have the number of Rhubarb on those lines of form. The four-year-old should enjoy the fast conditions again and it may be that Connie's Rose, a winner over C&D last month, will give her the most to think about.

JACQUELINA has looked better than ever over this C&D the last twice, off the mark 2 weeks ago before only just failing to follow up on Saturday, and she can quickly resume winning ways. Rhubarb was only a length behind the selection last time and can place round here again.

Lots of overlapping form. However, JACQUELINA is on a steady upward curve and, with conditions favourable, can prove tough to pass.

Bellarchi sets the standard following a career best at Carlisle earlier in the month, but she could be vulnerable to one with less experience and preference is for COOL RUN. The daughter of Profitable could not justify favouritism on debut at Thirsk, but that was an encouraging display and she is capable of better. Harvanna and Angel Shared are others with valid form claims, while Pearl Abbey is a noteworthy newcomer.

COOL RUN should have learned plenty from her encouraging debut at Thirsk last time and, with more to come, she's narrowly preferred to Angel Shared, who fits a similar mould. Bellarchi has an experience edge and merits respect.

Lots with chances but the Profitable filly COOL RUN is taken to build on a promising debut fifth at Thirsk and she gets the vote.

Perhaps the three to focus on are BRILLIANT, Mysteries and Zelosa who all hold the same Group 2 entry for the Curragh next month. Aidan O'Brien takes the wraps off Brilliant who made 650,000 guineas at the Sales. She is related to multiple Group 1-winner Alcohol Free and looks to be one of the main protagonists here. Mysteries ran on well for third on debut over this trip in the Curragh. That experience will be a big help to her and improvement should be forthcoming. Sheila Lavery introduces Zelosa and it is reasonable to assume that she is showing up well on the gallops to have that Group 2 entry. West Of Wichita showed ability on her first start over 5f at this track. Moral Turpitude has shown dash on both starts. Johnny Murtagh's Nakota is another newcomer to note.

MYSTERIES was strong in the betting and showed plenty to work on when third in a 9-runner Curragh maiden (6f) 3 weeks ago, noted doing her best work at the finish. Sure to improve, she gets the nod to build on that and come out on top. Newcomer Brilliant makes plenty of appeal on paper for her powerful stable and she's also one to note. West of Wichita, returned to calmer waters, completes the shortlist.

Leadenhall is noteworthy on his handicap debut off a workable mark and can go well if the first-time blinkers prompt some improvement, while last month's Redcar winner Senesi is respected given he was just denied by a neck under a penalty at Windsor 18 days ago, although a 3lb higher mark demands more. Nevertheless, the one that appeals most is BELL SONG, who has stacks of potential at this stage and could be hard to repel with another step forward. Zoukster is up in class but is also feared.

It's hard to escape the claims of ZOUKSTER, who has really clicked since switched to handicaps and the way he went about his business at Goodwood last week suggests that there is more to come. He escapes a penalty for that and is confidently expected to complete the hat-trick. Senesi is also going the right way and she is next on the list ahead of Hat Toss. There wasn't much between Taritino and Hello Arthur at Yarmouth recently and they are live each-way candidates, too.

This looks competitive for this grade. Preference is for SENESI, who has made a strong start to his handicap career.

Matty Too took advantage of a drop in the ratings when winning in fine style at Yarmouth eight days ago and, assuming the visor has the same effect, another big run is expected, despite his 5lb penalty. However, he now requires a career best and is taken on with the dual-course winner DIAMOND COTTAGE, who also arrives on the back of a win, but appeals more of just 2lb higher. Chifa has course experience and is also considered.

MATTY TOO was better than ever when making a winning start for Ed Dunlop at Yarmouth last week, and with an excellent apprentice taking over, he can make light of his penalty. Macs Dilemma has an excellent record here and is feared most, with Diamond Cottage another to consider.

Last week's visored Yarmouth winner MATTY TOO (nap) appears nicely treated under a 5lb penalty. He can make it 2-2 for Ed Dunlop.

The key to this race looks to be the recent clash over C&D between Doctor Khan Junior (first) and MOTAGALLY (second), with the latter taken to come out on top this time around. Scott Dixon's charge is 3lb better off for that one-length defeat, and he may be able to end a losing streak dating back to September 2020. Another Investment has performed well over C&D the last twice and he must enter calculations, along with the class-dropping Lord Of The Lodge.

Any number to consider, with STREAK LIGHTNING awarded the vote having shaped better than the result all 3 starts following a taking win at Newcastle from 3 lb lower. There's plenty of collateral C&D form on offer, with Doctor Khan Junior and Motagally of serious interest again, with No Nay Nicki completing the shortlist.

Competitive fare. STREAK LIGHTNING is still capable of useful form on his day and is marginally preferred to Doctor Khan Junior.

SON OF SAMPERS showed improvement when beaten a neck into second over the same trip in Tipperary, so he is a big player here. Andrew Slattery holds a strong hand as he runs both On Our Radar and Blue News. There could be more to come from On Our Radar who has posted two runner-up finishes on the Polytrack in Dundalk. This is his turf debut. Blue News has plenty of experience to call upon with six placed efforts from 12 appearances. Eurielle was a market springer on debut at Limerick, but came home sixth. She could improve for better ground. Smullen's Pride is coming off a break, but has pace in her armoury. Jacks Gold is a nicely-bred sort and his trainer is well able to saddle a winning sprinter.

SON OF SAMPERS ran his best race when runner-up at Tipperary 17 days ago and a reproduction of that form could be good enough to see him go one better here. Smullen's Pride lacks a recent run but will be suited by a return to the minimum trip, while Blue News seems sure to be on the premises again

Both On Our Radar and Son Of Sampers are noted but SMULLEN'S PRIDE, who ran well on debut last term, can strike first time out

TROOPER BISDEE might have seen his advantage whittled away in the closing stages when he won at Yarmouth on his handicap debut last month, but he is entitled to be sharper for the run and looks a typically progressive staying handicapper from Sir Mark Prescott's yard. He is a brother to Captain House, who won over 2m for the yard on the all-weather last year, so today's longer trip is likely to suit. C&D winner Cinnodin is feared most, with Fair Dinkum also considered.

TROOPER BISDEE has the look of yet another Sir Mark Prescott-trained 3-y-o who will run up a sequence in staying handicaps. Indeed, he stll looked raw when making a successful reappearance at Yarmouth and this further step up in trip is pretty much guaranteed to be the catalyst for further improvement. Lady Rascal also shapes as though this stiffer test will be in her favour and she is second choice ahead of Fair Dinkum.

It's an interesting field containing plenty of potential but TROOPER BISDEE looks capable of the most improvement.

KANDOO has plenty in her favour provided the daughter of Kessaar handles the faster ground. The form of her Navan third has been well advertised by the winner subsequently but the obvious concern is that the race was run on soft. From a low draw, the Jack Davison-trained filly should be able to get a prominent early position around this tight track. High Morale has reached the frame on both his starts to date but doesn't seem an obvious one to drop back in trip. Perhaps, from his draw, he will go forward and try turn this into a test of stamina. Byzantine Express, who ran a big race at Listowel earlier this month, has plenty experience and should be capable of reaching the placings at the very least.

There were more encouraging signs from KANDOO at Navan last time and she could be the answer. High Morale is feared most, though there are several others likely to take hand in the finish, too, notably Miss Black Jack and Duplantis.

Though he was disappointing on second start at Roscommon last time, HIGH MORALE should be suited by dropping to this trip.

Red Evelyn and Letter Of The Law both have a lot going for them but they are creeping up in the ratings and neither look solid on these terms. Therefore, it could pay to side with ROMANOVICH, who still has low mileage for a four-year-old and, off just 2lb higher than his victory over 7f here last month, he looks a potential improver. Millicent also has something to offer and is feared most from the rest.

MILLICENT isn't the most consistent but she signalled a clear return to form despite operating from out of the weights when third at Nottingham 12 days ago and, now from her correct mark, could be worth chancing to back that up now. Veteran Kenstone is also interesting back from a break with his yard in good order, whilst the John O'Shea trained-pair Letter of The Law and Romanovich could also play a part.

John O'Shea is doubly represented. However, with Kieran O'Neill retaining the mount, the suggestion is the 6yo mare MILLICENT.

Clapton Hill offered something to work with after finishing fourth at Ffos Las and is another to bear in mind.

COPPER BEACH opened his account in taking style at Uttoxeter last week and is taken to follow up under a penalty. Charlie My Boy got off the mark himself last time at Newton Abbot and can go well again. Fandabidozi is also considered.

RAVENSCRAIG CASTLE's 2 in-frame efforts this spring represent solid form and he can get back to winning ways with Mark Winn taking a useful 5 lb off. The low-mileage Balhambar is second choice ahead of Wor Willie.

Sir Michael Stoute's unexposed 4yo BALHAMBAR is entitled to strip fitter for his recent comeback run at Kempton and gets the nod.

A very competitive race. PARTING GLASS is certainly going the right way. He got off the mark in Navan last month after beginning his career with a couple of second places. This ground is an unknown for him, but it isn't a negative for progeny of his sire. Colin Keane has been booked. Not Too Real Bad is on a handy weight with Siobhan Rutledge's 5lb claim factored in. Furthermore, she won over C&D on her penultimate start. Gabriella's Spirit was a comfortable winner on her Irish debut at Tipperary. She has plenty of form in Britain as well. Natalia Lupini gets the most out of her horses and Running Cool is a threat after obliging over 6f in Fairyhouse at the start of the month. The veteran Primo Uomo is still showing speed and has moved to Darren Bunyan after the retirement of his trainer Ger O'Leary.

GABRIELLA'S SPIRIT left her British form trailing in her wake when a ready winner at Tipperary a fortnight ago and with the prospect of more to come, she could be the answer. Parting Glass retains potential as a handicapper, with Greek Flower another to note back in a more suitable grade.

Several in the mix but C&D winner NOT TOO REAL BAD wasn't seen to best effect last time and has more to offer from her mark

However, the previous experience held by SHIRLASKI is a vital factor and, given the form of her debut is working out, the daughter of Eqtidaar appeals strongly in this intriguing maiden. Adaay In Devon also caught the eye with a strong finish on her racecourse bow at Wolverhampton and is another to consider.

SHIRLASKI shaped as if need of the experience when fifth at Ascot on debut last month, but that form has worked out well (the first 3 home all won on their next starts) and she is entitled to progress for a yard enioying a good season with its 2-y-os. She can open her account at the expense of Adaay In Devon, with What A Question the pick of the newcomers.

This can go to SHIRLASKI who finished fifth of seven in what has turned out to be a red-hot maiden at Ascot last month.

The Jessica Harrington-trained colt won with a bit in hand last time and doesn't look overburdened with a 5lb rise. As a hold up horse, he will need to get the breaks from his inside draw but the Showcasing colt should be finishing better than most. Little Keilee, who overcame a wide berth to win easily at Sligo in April, should be a live contender. Dylan Browne McMonagle retains the ride on the Ciaran Murphy-trained filly on this occasion. Aussie Girl takes a big drop in class here having finished third at the Curragh last time. She won't find it easy to make all in this field but expect to see her take a prominent position from the outset.

AUSSIE GIRL didn't do much wrong when third of 15 at the Curragh last time and she is taken to strike here, perhaps at the chief expense of Californiagoldrush and Freedom Falls.

A fair amount of guesswork is required with these hurdling debutants, with a tentative vote going to TWO PAST EIGHT. The Alan King-trained charge showed a bit more fight on the Flat earlier in the month and may enjoy this change of discipline. Strike Alliance represents last year's winning trainer and is another to note if resuming in the same heart that saw him winning on the all-weather in March, while Lord Sam's Castle also enters calculations.

An early-season juvenile with stamina probably not at a premium, so it may pay to side with LORD SAM'S CASTLE, who was the pick of these on the level. Alan King has very few peers in these races so Two Past Eight demands respect, along with Strike Alliance.

A few of these former Flat-racers have dubious stamina credentials but one exception is LOGISTICAL, who is tentatively given the vote.

GO ATHLETICO is an eye-catching recruit for Ado McGuinness. This five-year-old French gelding won eight times in his native country including when last seen in Listed company in April. His mark entitles him to maximum respect. Ano Syra couldn't land a glove in third on the winner at the Curragh in May, however, that was in Group 2 company and it was her first run back. Last season's Rockingham winner has the attributes for this fast 5f. Catherine Of Siena stayed on to get to within a neck of the winner in Listed class at Chelmsford City in April which brings her into the equation. Lady Tilbury is well versed at running in quality sprints. Anthem National came in fifth in good races at Naas and the Curragh last month, and has a role to play.

GO ATHLETICO looks the class act and is taken to make a successful start for Ado McGuinness before having his sights raised. Ano Syra is dangerous, while Catherine of Siena seems likely to go well again and is in the mix.

He beat subsequent winner Lady Rascal when finishing in second at Newbury on his penultimate outing and could prove tough to peg back on his return to turf. The consistent Pink Lily is 6lb above her last winning mark but is still feared, while the unexposed Barrier is capable of improvement in first-time cheekpieces.

LUCKY FIFTEEN's form has taken off in handicaps this year and he has obvious claims of defying a penalty after his win at Chelmsford last week. Pink Lily continues to go forward so rates the main threat.

This looks a good chance for LUCKY FIFTEEN to follow up his Chelmsford success. He has a 6lb penalty to carry but is still 3lb well in.

Nevertheless, Jennie Candlish's gelding had to concede 19lb to his victor on that occasion and these rivals don't appear as strong. Glorious Mist may have been flattered by her proximity to a 118-rated rival over C&D last month, but the mare looks the chief threat here, ahead of recent Market Rasen runner-up Woodie Flash.

This is best left to BASFORD, who failed to land the odds at Newton Abbot last week but it will be surprising should he fail to deliver here. Woodie Flash is preferred to Glorious Mist for forecast purposes.

He does not have an entirely convincing profile but, nevertheless, BASFORD is very much the one to beat in this modest race.

MASTER MATT can win for the first time since joining the Michael Halford and Tracey Collins yard. The seven-year-old shaped really encouragingly when second behind a well handicapped horse over this course and distance last week. With doubts about a number of his opponents here, the Slade Power gelding looks the most solid option. Verhoyen, who returned to form with an impressive success at the Curragh last month, is well drawn for a horse that likes to make the running. It would be a mistake for the opposition to allow the Michael Grassick-trained gelding an easy lead. However, he has never won from a mark this high and may just prefer 7f at this stage of his career. Ice Cold In Alex needs to be delivered with a perfectly timed run from off the pace but Jamie Powell has already demonstrated he is capable of doing just that.

ICE COLD IN ALEX produced a big effort when second to Verhoyen and he's worth a chance to reverse form with that rival in this lesser contest. Master Matt is also worthy of interest.

Now 7lb better off with Verhoyen from their Curragh clash over 7f last time, ICE COLD IN ALEX could turn the tables on that rival.

Fellow last-time-out winner Shearer made all at Ludlow and likely has more to offer in this sphere too. He may, however, have a tougher time dictating in this contest with recent Worcester victor Kakamora another who likes to lead.

Competitive despite the small field with the vote in favour of LANDEN CALLING. He jumped/travelled with plenty of purpose when opening his chase account at the first attempt at Bangor 4 weeks ago and a 5 lb rise for that success shouldn't prevent another bold bid. Shearer, a fellow chase debutant scorer at Ludlow, rates a big threat, with Kakamora, who comes here on the back of 2 wins from his last 3 starts, is also respected.

Although taking a sharp rise in class, KAKAMORA is given the nod.

Paddy Twomey's ROSSCARBERY won this race last year and may repeat the feat. She has to give weight away to the field which will take a bit of doing, but her class will help. The form of her fifth place in a Group 1 at Ascot last October is working out very well. The winner has since landed the Group 1 Coronation Cup while the third reappeared this season to win a Group 3 in the Curragh. The horse a place behind Rosscarbery in sixth has been successful in a Group 3 and in a Listed race. Rosscarbery has won off a break before. Twomey also saddles Final Gesture who was impressive in taking a Listed race by five lengths in Gowran Park last month. That was her Irish debut after winning twice in France. She has the race-fitness advantage on her stablemate. This trip, better ground and first-time blinkers could elicit a big run from Library. Her dam actually won this race in 2015. Azazat was very good in Leopardstown and will welcome the forecast rain. None of the remainder can be ruled out with confidence.

ROSSCARBERY must concede weight all round but she's already proven at this level, winning this race a year ago and sure to be well prepared for this reappearance given the yard she represents, she's likely up to the challenge. Stablemate Final Gesture created an excellent impression at Gowran and she's feared, with Azazat open to any amount of progress.

A winner over C&D before finishing a creditable fourth at Salisbury 20 days ago, Gary Moore's charge can put his track craft to good use. Others to note include Ravens Ark and State Of Bliss.

RAVENS ARK shaped encouragingly on his reappearance when runner-up at Ascot a month ago, keeping on well having been hampered under 2f out, so he can build on that effort to return to winning ways back up in trip. Wilderness bounced back to form last time and could be the main danger, ahead of Crescent Lake.

This can go to RAVENS ARK (nap) who went close off 3lb higher in this race last year and ran really well on last month's Ascot return.

ANOTHER MYSTERY needs to prove that his breakthrough success in a maiden hurdle at Market Rasen last time was no fluke, but Lucy Wadham's charge would take some stopping if reproducing that level of performance on this switch to handicaps. Coconut Twist's stamina appeared stretched by the extended 3m distance at Southwell in May and appears a likely player dropping back in trip. Dynamic Kate may build on her third-placed return at Ludlow last month and is another to note.

Neil Mulholland has an interesting pair in DYNAMIC KATE and Happy Returns. The former is 2-2 over C&D and shaped well on her return at Ludlow so could be the way to go, although her stablemate leaves the impression she has races in her. Another Mystery was a runaway winner at Market Rasen and is dangerous to discount for all he's not looked the most hardy.

Although Another Mystery is tempting, COCONUT TWIST is preferred.

Group 3 winner PRETREVILLE appears to have been found a nice opportunity to make a successful reappearance. Although now approaching the veteran stages of his career, the nine-time winner showed that he still had much to offer with a series of good runs in top company last season. A small field such as this will really suit the Ado McGuinness-trained eight-year-old who is adept at making the running. On official ratings, he is easily the best in this race. Monaasib won twice as a juvenile but has failed to add to his tally since then. However, the five-year-old gelding has run some big races in better company that he faces here. Course and distance winner Affogato needs to improve but remains relatively lightly raced so isn't one to totally discount.

PRETREVILLE has a good record fresh and this could be a good opening if he's ready to go. Monaasib might be the danger.

MONAASIB never fulfilled the promise he showed as a youngster but can claim a first win since his 2yo days.

Politicise makes some each-way appeal.

CRACKING DESTINY and De Barley Basket both shaped well on their comeback run and look the pair to concentrate on, with the former getting the nod under Brian Hughes. Post No Bills is another one to consider.

GOLDEN TWILIGHT has claims over this trip. He travelled notably well before dropping to third over 1m6f at the Curragh last month. He certainly knows where the winning post is with five career victories, including three over this distance. First-time cheekpieces are applied. Star Kissed has two wins and two close second places among her five races to date. She is still growing into her frame, but should be deeply involved. Morph Speed was only caught close home over slightly further in Leopardstown which gives him claims. The handicapper has dropped Safecracker by 3lb. He was only 1lb lower when runner-up in a premier handicap at the Curragh last September. Spasiba is entitled to come on from an unplaced comeback run at Killarney. A combination of a tongue-strap and cheekpieces go on. Pralognan and Rich Belief are others to consider.

STAR KISSED was quick to resume progress on her second start in handicaps when running out a ready winner at Roscommon 15 days ago and a 5 lb higher mark shouldn't prevent another bold bid with the prospect of more to come. Last year's runner-up Safecracker is a threat from an easing mark, with Spasiba, Morph Speed and Pralognan others also worthy of note.

Preference is for the improving filly STAR KISSED, who could still be ahead of the handicapper

BLACK HAWK EAGLE, who has looked a different proposition since returning from a winter break, can record his second win of the campaign. The Noel Meade-trained five-year-old easily landed a Navan handicap on his reappearance in March and showed that he could cope with the subsequent hike when going close at the Curragh last month. Dropping down in grade now, he should prove difficult to beat. Dartan was in rude health at the end of last season, winning his final two starts for Matthew Smith. Fitness is seldom a concern with runners from this stable, so the former German trained six-year-old has to be a serious threat. Towards the foot of the handicap, the eye is drawn to Pretty Soldier having his first start for new connections. A five-time winner in Germany, he could be well handicapped in this country.

BLACK HAWK EAGLE is building up a very solid record in handicaps on the Flat. He may well have won again at the Curragh last time but for meeting trouble at a crucial stage and can gain compensation now. British Flat winner Night Sparkle has been in good form over hurdles since joining Michael O'Callaghan and might give the selection most to think about ahead of Gavin Cromwell's Vera Verto, who arrives fit from jumping and was placed on her most recent Flat start.

Arriving on the back of a career best at the Curragh last month, BLACK HAWK EAGLE, should give a good account and he's still unexposed

GOLDEN DAYS has each-way claims in this massive field. There was plenty to like about her seasonal reappearance fourth over an extended 7f in Roscommon last month. She was beaten less than a length at the finish and there could be improvement to come particularly as she has a C&D success in the book. It was Swiss Army Officer who won that aforementioned race in Roscommon and he has an obvious chance. He wasn't at his best on his last start in Listowel but, afterwards, his jockey reported that he had to check off heels. Markievicz won in this grade on her penultimate start in Navan and is eminently capable of getting in the mix. Rockbury Lad and Mass Gathering will be eyeing prize money.

ROCKBURY LAD has shaped well on both his starts this year and can defy his current mark granted a bit of luck in running in this big field. Markievicz had an excuse last time and is better judged on her Navan success. Golden Days completes the shortlist.

FAIRBANKS has taken his form to another level since visored/sent handicapping and should prove hard to beat under a penalty given the ease of his Leicester success 10 days ago. Reina del Mar is possibly still building up her fitness after a long absence and can follow the selection home off a career-low mark.

It's hard to see beyond FAIRBANKS, who has displayed huge improvement since switched to handicaps and is 5lb well in.

Premier D'troice was only narrowly denied off 3lb lower at Warwick last month and completes the shortlist.

Cases can be made for all five of these but PREMIER D'TROICE's claims are the most compelling. The 9-y-o pulled clear of the rest when going down narrowly back in this sphere at Warwick and he remains on a good mark. Sirobbie resumed winning ways over this C&D last month and he is feared most, while Astroman is best of the rest.

On that occasion, the Churchill colt lost his position before staying on in eye catching fashion to reach the frame. With the benefit of that experience, it would be disappointing if he can't make his presence felt in this ordinary maiden. Golden Temple has an official rating of 78 after seven starts for trainer Noel Meade. First-time blinkers may help bring about some improvement but he is vulnerable to a more unexposed rival in this company. Ravshan, a half-brother to three winners, is a debutant who deserves close consideration on his first start for the Michael Halford and Tracey Collins yard.

RAPPAREE CHAMP very much caught the eye on last month's Sligo debut and can strike at the second time of asking. The selection's stablemate Head of State also showed promise at Roscommon last time and is next best ahead of Noel Meade's Golden Temple in a maiden where it's hard to make a case for many.
