14:00 Salisbury Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Blewburton, a comfortable winner at Leicester on his racecourse debut, merits respect under a penalty, while Cayman Tai appeals as a leading candidate following a couple of second-placed efforts. However, PIT BOSS shaped with promise on his first start over 5f at Yarmouth, keeping on well towards the finish. With that experience under his belt and upped to 6f, the son of Ardad could strike. Market support for the Roger Varian-trained Style King would make him of definite interest as well.

CAYMAN TAI stepped up on his promising debut when just denied at Windsor last week and can go one better at the main expense of penalised-winner Blewburton and likely newcomer Style King.

Preference is for CAYMAN TAI who has finished runner-up in both starts, including behind a potentially nice sort at Windsor last week.

14:15 Southwell Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BIG BEE HIVE arrives here having won three of his last four starts and a 5lb rise for the most recent of those victories at Cartmel may not be enough to stop him in this company. Dusautior is an obvious threat following his success at Bangor in April, while Annie Wicks and Prince Cleni are others who merit places on the shortlist.

A few to consider but PRINCE CLENI bounced back to form when just failing at Fontwell and another big run looks on the cards having won this race last year off the same mark. Dusautior showed plenty of guts when making all at Bangor and remains unexposed, while Big Bee Hive and Annie Wicks are both thriving currently.

Prince Cleni won this in 2023 but preference is for BIG BEE HIVE, who has made very good progress since switched to chasing.

14:32 Salisbury Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

There was plenty to like about Arabian Sun's Goodwood debut, where he found only an experienced rival too strong having been short of room and shuffled back early on in the contest. Clive Cox's charge looks set to go well, but it is STRATUSNINE that shades preference. The Far Above colt caught the eye when staying on powerfully from off the pace on his debut at York last month and could prove hard to beat. Others to note include Yala and Canvas.

STRATUSNINE could hardly have been more of an eyecatcher when thundering home having been held back by greenness initially when runner-up in a York novice over this trip 17 days ago. He can build on the abundant promise displayed then and go one place better. Arabian Sun and Yala head up the dangers, ahead of Cairdeas.

The choice is STRATUSNINE who went into plenty of notebooks when flashing home to go down by a neck on his York debut.

14:45 Southwell Handicap Chase (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

WAY OUT unseated his rider when favourite at Fakenham when last seen, but the seven-year-old can be given another chance based on his previous second at Warwick in May. Hyland contested some very competitive handicap hurdles last season and should not be underestimated on his chasing bow, while Itso Fury edges out Party Business and Mahons Glory to be best of the rest.

HYLAND is a talented hurdler who could do well now sent chasing and is taken to make a winning start in this sphere. Way Out is a big player on the pick of his form, while Mahons Glory could also make his presence felt if taking to this new game.

Hyland might be dangerous but WAY OUT (nap) has some good placed form over fences on his CV and can open his account today.

15:02 Salisbury Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

REVENUE was able to take advantage of a sliding handicap mark when winning at Bath last time out, so a subsequent 5lb rise might not stop the son of Profitable from completing a double. Liege hasn't been able to find any immediate progress having been switched to handicaps in March, but he's not without a chance on his turf debut. Match Anthem, who finished a creditable second at Chelmsford last month, makes obvious appeal now sent handicapping.

MATCH ANTHEM matched the pick of his previous form when runner-up at Chelmsford (5f) 3 weeks ago and earns the vote to come out on top now handicapping back up in trip. Bath scorer Revenue is a live threat, whilst it would come as no surprise to see a better showing from Hot Front with blinkers refitted/back up at 6f and she also makes each-way appeal.

This can go to REVENUE (nap) who looks the safest option having returned to winning form at Bath 18 days ago. He can defy a 5lb rise.

15:15 Southwell Handicap Chase (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A respectable fourth over C&D last time out, where errant jumping cost him, ABAYA DU MATHAN looks the one to be with dropping in grade, having scored comfortably at Warwick in April off 3lb lower. Minella Choice has yet to get it together over fences but remains unexposed, while Neigh Botha wasn't beaten too far when switching to hurdles at Newcastle when last in action.

ABAYA DU MATHAN arrives in good form and can take advantage of a drop back in grade here. Sean Bowen is an eye-catching booking for Berliet Express and is worth monitoring in the market, whilst Pencil can also make his presence felt.

It's hard to build a robust case for any of these but NEIGH BOTHA is handicapped to win if his autumn jumping issues do not resurface.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Thunderous Love returned a 25/1 winner on soft going here last month, with the favourite MISS STORMY NIGHT back in fourth. The latter had finished much closer when third at Bath before that, and Clive Cox's filly gets another chance back on a faster surface. The handicap-debutant Little Miss Magic is worth keeping an eye on with William Buick doing the steering.

Having shaped well when third on handicap debut at Bath, MISS STORMY NIGHT may have found the rain-softened ground against her when finishing fourth behind Thunderous Love over C&D 26 days ago. With forecast conditions set to be more to her liking here she could be worth chancing to come out on top having eased in the weights. Little Miss Magic and Melisende are others to consider.

Preference is for MELISENDE who ran well when second on her Yarmouth return and had excuses for her latest Kempton effort.

SANITISER may still be a maiden through eight starts over hurdles, but recent efforts at Hereford and Huntingdon suggest that he may be about to change that. Conditions are in his favour once again and the five-year-old gets the vote ahead of promising Chepstow third Dog Fox and City Of Ruins, who must be monitored for market support on his first run for new connections.

SANITISER has been consistent this spring and can get his head in front for the first time over hurdles now. The main opposition may be provided by Dog Fox and Zhang Fei, who hail from good stables and appeal as potential improvers now moving into handicap company over hurdles.

This looks very open. ALRIGHT DAI earns marginal preference as it wasn't a bad handicap debut on testing ground.

16:07 Salisbury Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

RAVISHING BEAUTY has shown promise on both previous starts and the return to this trip should suit Harry Charlton's filly. Both Amsterdam and Happy Chandler return to action with a shout on last year's form, while Roger Varian has trained two of the previous three winners of this, so Harmoniser is a newcomer to note. Perennial and Jodhpur Blue are other debutants to keep an eye on.

Market support for one of the newcomers would need to be viewed positively but RAVISHING BEAUTY readily surpassed the form she showed on her only start as a 2-y-o when an encouraging fifth on return at Bath 4 weeks ago and gets the narrow vote with further progress anticipated. Jodhpur Blue is a debutant to note, with Ed Walker's pair Amsterdam and Perennial others to monitor.

The vote goes to AMSTERDAM, whose 2yo effort has received several boosts. Ravishing Beauty is second choice.

16:20 Southwell Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CHANCYCOURT still looked to be going well when falling three out at Ffos Las on his handicap debut recently, and Fergal O'Brien's charge may be able to gain compensation back in maiden company. Electric Jet would have strong claims if bouncing back to the form of his penultimate effort at Fontwell, while Matchadam is interesting on his hurdles bow having shaped well in a bumper at Hereford last October.

CHANCYCOURT clearly isn't the easiest to train, but he was going as well as any bar the well-treated winner when coming down 3 out on his handicap debut at Ffos Las 12 days ago and is the percentage call back in maiden company. Matchadam showed promise on his sole outing in bumpers and is bred to be suited by the step up in trip on hurdle debut, with Electric Jet another to consider.

Not much has gone to plan for CHANCYCOURT since his promising bumper debut in 2021 but this looks a good opportunity for him to strike.

16:37 Salisbury Maiden (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

STEEL TIGER has chased home two smart rivals in his short career to date and the son of Almanzor can go one better here. Liam Swagger was a place behind the selection last time, having finished ahead of Eben Zaabeel at Chester before that, while Crown Of India went close when third over a shorter trip here in May. Leicester Square showed some promise at Nottingham on his debut and is another to consider.

There was little to choose between STEEL TIGER and Liam Swagger when placed behind a smart prospect at Yarmouth 2 weeks ago and both should go well again in what looks an open maiden. Crown of India and Pagan Sun head the dangers.

The percentage call goes to CROWN OF INDIA, ahead of Pagan Sun in a competitive-looking maiden.

16:45 Sligo Claiming Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

KENDANCER landed a similar contest in good style at Limerick 12 days ago and can collect again. He was pulling away for a cosy three-and-three-quarter length win last time over Gino Drummer Boy and going a bit further now should suit. The runner-up is entitled to get a bit closer at the revised terms. Tom McGreevy was disputing when falling two from home in that Limerick contest and is another who has to come into calculations now. He holds the top official mark of 116 in this two-mile-two contest. The consistent Routine Excellence is another who has to be considered but has to give away a chunk of weight to the ones mentioned above.

CLEVER CURRENCY isn't the most consistent but he's down in class here and is the one to beat on the pick of his form on these terms. Kendancer and Gino Drummer Boy were first and second in a similar event at Limerick 12 days ago and head the dangers.

These claimers are rarely straightforward. The forecast rain bodes well for heavy-ground maiden winner DOCTOR NIGHTINGALE.

16:55 Southwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BETHPAGE completed a brace of handicap victories when winning at Ludlow last month and Emma Lavelle's progressive mare can bring up the hat-trick off a 4lb raised mark. Trump Lady, a comfortable winner at Newton Abbot last time out, appears to be the main threat, while Culligran, who was no match for an emphatic victor at the same venue 22 days ago, is also noted.

BETHPAGE has gone from strength-to-strength in handicaps in recent months, finding the step up in trip right up her street when adding to her tally at Ludlow 4 weeks ago. She can make light of a 4 lb rise and complete the hat-trick. Trump Lady also arrives on the back of success and she's feared, with Our Friend Mo and Auditoria both lurking on handy marks and capable of playing a part also.

The suggestion is BETHPAGE, who is 2-2 since switched to handicaps this spring and remains unexposed over this sort of trip.

17:07 Salisbury Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This can go the way of PRATIGYA, who scored from a subsequent winner when getting off the mark over shorter at Wolverhampton last month. The step up in trip could eke out further improvement on her handicap bow, and the daughter of Decorated Knight is preferred to the recent Nottingham scorer Elladonna, as well as Quietness, who is of interest following a determined success at Windsor. Alhattan and Ciara Pearl have the form to get involved in proceedings as well.

XIOMARA was beaten fair and square by Elladonna at Nottingham three weeks ago but that was a highly promising handicap debut nonetheless, particularly given that she still looked rough around the edges. David Menuisier's representative is armed with a 4 lb pull and, moreover, she arguably possesses greater scope for improvement than that rival. Others with potential include Alhattan, who did well under the circumstances at Newmarket last time, and Quietness and Pratigya.

The vote goes to ALHATTAN who gives the impression there is a bigger performance in her.

17:15 Sligo Maiden Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DOYEN MAGIC takes a drop in class on her third outing over hurdles and this looks a nice opportunity for the point-to-point winner. She ran in a couple of strong contests over the winter and wasn't disgraced when fifth at Leopardstown when last seen in March. This is an easier task now and better ground may suit as it was yielding when she won her point. African Lady has run better on her last couple of outings and should get involved now at this level. Sainte Baol was pulled up quickly at Listowel 10 days ago but is capable of better than that and has a chance on previous form.

SAINTE BAOL ran no sort of race at Listowel 10 days ago but she's worth another chance in such a weak event. Doyen Magic and Sydney Cruiser are at least showing steady progress so rate the main threats.

Having fetched £140,000 after winning a point and shaping okay in a Leopardstown maiden, DOYEN MAGIC should be going close.

17:25 Wetherby Maiden (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Territorial Knight may find this to be easier than last month's introduction in a higher grade at York, while Sun Petal ran well for a long way at Salisbury before fading in the closing stages. However, Richard Fahey sent out a newcomer to win this race 12 months ago and YES I'M MALI, who is out of a debut winner, could make a bold bid on his racecourse bow.

Not a deep-looking maiden and it would be no surprise to see YES I'M MALI emulate his dam and make a successful debut in these colours. Territorial Knight showed a bit in a warm race at York first time up and could improve plenty, while Mavetheforcebewivu is another interesting newcomer.

An unappealing betting race and CRIMSON LAD is tentatively preferred to Yes I'm Mali.

17:30 Southwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MRS TABITHA bumped into an improver when filling the runner-up spot at Sedgefield last month, and the lightly-raced five-year-old is fancied to get back in the winning groove nudged up 2lb in the handicap. Blow The Budget found improvement at Market Rasen on her first start following wind surgery and she can throw down another stern challenge, along with Mays Hill, who made a pleasing return to action 19 days ago.

A chance is taken on KELLIE'S DREAM, who is 11 lb lower in the weights compared to when making her debut for present connections in February and this step back up in trip/drying ground may help. Emily Wade also figures on a good mark and she will be a big threat if on-song, while Mrs Tabitha is third choice ahead of Blow The Budget.

The most obvious answer is MRS TABITHA, who launched her handicap career with two big runs this spring and is open to further progress.

17:42 Salisbury Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Turned out again relatively quickly after a determined success at Lingfield, REGAL ENVOY could have more to come off a 2lb higher mark, and with Oisin Murphy taking over in the saddle. Crimson Angel was second at the same venue last month and can give him the most to think about, along with Strike, who has had a short break since narrowly scoring at Windsor in April.

REGAL ENVOY returned to form when narrowly prevailing at Lingfield recently and he is taken to strike again having been nudged up just 2 lb. The 5-y-o has winning course form, plus the booking of Oisin Murphy adds to his appeal. Fellow last-time-out scorer Strike has to be feared, while Cooperation shaped pretty well on return at Newmarket and he is dangerous to discount. Crimson Angel will also be a threat if able to translate her all-weather form to turf.

The most solid option is REGAL ENVOY. Second choice is Crimson Angel.

17:45 Sligo Maiden Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DOWNTHEREFORDANCIN may appreciate dropping back in trip here after running a touch keen and failing to get home around Tramore recently. The Passing Glance gelding had run well on his previous couple of outings in handicap company and he looks good enough to win a maiden hurdle of this standard off his mark of 108. Break The Boundary's best couple of runs on the track have come over slightly further but he commands respect having posted some solid efforts since going under rules. Drumgill was well held at Limerick last time but his previous runner-up effort at Ballinrobe gives him a chance in this.

DOWNTHEREFORDANCIN and Fast Felix had excuses last time out and both should be firmly in the mix on their best form. Koori Star won his sole start in points in February and is a newcomer to note.

The John Ryan yard has been amongst the winners recently and DRUMGILL can be forgiven a below form run at Limerick last time

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TEES AGGREGATES was slowly away at Doncaster on his racecourse bow and was also hampered in the early stages. The son of Earthlight was doing is best work at the finish, and a smoother passage here could see him in the mix in a open contest. Redcar fourth, Hickton, may finish closer on this faster going, while Lesley's Boy debuted at York and is another to consider. River Blackwater and An Realta Carraig make most appeal of the newcomers.

LESLEY'S BOY showed a bit in a useful-looking novice at York on debut a fortnight ago and could take a big step forward for Richard Fahey. He gets the vote ahead of appealing newcomers River Blackwater and An Realta Carraig, for whom the betting could be informative.

Hickton and LESLEY'S BOY may be open to the greatest improvement and the latter can build on his York seventh.

18:05 Southwell Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A mistake at the business end of the race put paid to HOBB'S DELIGHT's chance at Cartmel last time out, but Neil Mulholland's C&D winner can get back on track off an unchanged mark. The Wise Traveller was no match for a runaway winner at Huntingdon last month but he should go well with Jamie Gambin taking 10lb off his back. Backinaction goes handicapping off what could be a competitive mark of 103 and he warrants a market check.

Judged on his recent reappearance effort at Cartmel, HOBB'S DELIGHT remains on a fair mark and his two best efforts to date have come over this C&D. He gets the nod ahead of Starlyte, who should be close to the boil following a couple of spins last month and she has slipped to a dangerous mark. The consistent Justshortofabubble, Lion's Vigil and The Wise Traveller all make each-way appeal, while Backinaction also needs a second look now pitched into a handicap.

Returning to Southwell, HOBB'S DELIGHT looks a good bet to give his true running which didn't appear to be the case at Cartmel.

18:15 Sligo Handicap Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

VERBAL SPARRING can get a deserved breakthrough success here. The Vocalised gelding has been placed four times, including on his most recent outing at Naas in mid-April. He chased home the in-form Cheerful Chap then and the form looks strong with the winner following up subsequently. Bigira hasn't been far away on her recent outings and looks an obvious danger. She ran well for Dillon Butler when third at Kilbeggan on her penultimate run. Justmadeit ran with promise in a couple of winter maiden hurdles and is one to note on her handicap debut.

VERBAL SPARRING's record over hurdles stands at 0-13 but he went down narrowly when finding only an in-form rival too strong at Naas and is taken to deservedly get his head in front here. He may have most to fear from Highland King, who hasn't done much in a handful of runs in this sphere but he was a winner on the Flat in March and has improver written all over him now going down the handicap route in this sphere. Caoimhes Pet is best of the rest.

The mare PEARLOFFLORIDA won the maiden on this card 12 months ago and she later held her own in handicaps. She's able when fresh.

18:30 Wetherby Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Both Tiaraqueen and Apocalyx made promising debuts last year but failed to build on those efforts on their next starts. The former makes most appeal of that pair, but TRANSITIONING looks a safer proposition. Andrew Balding's charge won at Doncaster with plenty left in the tank on debut last month and may well defy a 7lb penalty. Spring Festival is a half-brother to an Italian Derby winner, while Thunder Run and Fox Spirit are other newcomers to note.

TRANSITIONING made a bright start at Doncaster 6 weeks ago, winning readily, and might be able to make it 2-2 with improvement forthcoming. Warrior's Dance and Fox Spirit head up a number of interesting newcomers, while Tiaraqueen and Apocalyx return following disappointing efforts on the back of promising debuts.

Another chance is given to TIARAQUEEN, who should still do better. Apocalyx, a similar type, is second choice

18:45 Sligo Handicap Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This looks an open affair. DIVILABOTHER was an eye-catcher at Down Royal last month and might be able to build on that encouraging effort. On what was just his second start in handicap company, the Markaz six-year-old raced towards rear before making steady late headway to finish a never nearer fourth of 20. With Carl Millar again claiming a valuable 7lb, the 85-rated grey should be able to make an impact. True Destiny is a dual course winner and while down the field on his return to action at Downpatrick in April, a much-improved performance can be expected from him now. Cloughroe is sure to have plenty of supporters for the father and son team of Paul and Jack Gilligan, while others for the shortlist are top-weight Tomas O Maille, recent Flat runner-up The Truant and Dick Donohoe's Contrapposto.

The vote goes to TRUE DESTINY, who should come on for his reappearance spin at Downpatrick where he was making his debut for this yard. He is 2-3 at this course and the drying ground will be in his favour. The Truant put in a good shift on the Flat last time and he looks a big threat, while Divilabother could also have a part to play if building on his improved effort at Down Royal. Cloughroe is also worth a second look.

This looks open. Preference is for THE TRUANT who needs everything to drop just right but the ability is there. Milteye is next.

19:00 Wetherby Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for ATLANTIC GAMBLE, after a comfortable success at Kempton last month, there could be more improvement forthcoming from the son of Lightning Spear, and he can strike on the return to turf. A highly-encouraging second over C&D last time out, John L Sullivan looks to be his main danger on quicker ground, along with First Encounter, who has been runner-up on his last two starts.

Preference is for ATLANTIC GAMBLE, who got off the mark in a Kempton handicap last month and remains low mileage. First Encounter and Mist Rollin In head the list of dangers.

The form of the C&D handicap in which JOHN L SULLIVAN finished second in April has received numerous boosts and he can go one better.

19:15 Sligo Handicap Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

In first-time cheekpieces, HYPERSONIC MISSILE might be able to make the breakthrough over flights, with this drop in trip likely to suit. The winner of a bumper when in the care of John McConnell, the five-year-old came in for plenty of market support on his most recent outing at Punchestown. Third on that occasion, he finished just half-a-length behind subsequent Listowel victor Rising Dust. Getabelle will have to defy top-weight if she is to complete a hat-trick. The Liam Cusack-trained seven-year-old hasn't been seen since October and will be aided by the 7lb claim of Carl Millar. A winner at Tramore in April, Ian Donoghue's Brownstone is a leading contender, while I Am Spider Man and handicap debutant Mayday Games are others of interest.

I AM SPIDER MAN looked menacing when badly hampered 2 out at Ballinrobe last time and has now shaped on a few occasions as if there's a race to be won with him from this mark. Gavin Cromwell's Hypersonic Missile shaped well when placed at Punchestown last month and is feared most ahead of the returning Getabelle, who won back to back when last seen in the autumn.

Having lost his chance when hampered at Ballinrobe last time, I AM SPIDER MAN could make up for that and score today.

19:30 Wetherby Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HURT YOU NEVER regained the winning thread with a taking performance at Ripon last month and the slight rise in distance could see her in an even better light as she looks to double up. Oneforsue arrives with similar claims, having broken her maiden in comfortable fashion over 6f at Redcar last June, while Angle Land should be able to build on a strong placed effort at Goodwood last month.

HURT YOU NEVER was well on top at the finish when scoring at Ripon last month and may be able to follow up. Angle Land and Daytona Lady can also make their presence felt.

Angle Land and Hurt You Never are solid options but DAYTONA LADY is potentially well treated on a rare turf outing.

19:45 Sligo Handicap Hurdle 26f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The hat-trick seeking FLICKER OF HOPE is a horse on the improve and looks the safest option in this long-distance heat. Having made the breakthrough at Clonmel, the Buck's Boum five-year-old followed-up at Wexford when tried over three-miles for the first time. He is again pushed out in trip and will be helped by the 7lb claim of talented amateur Adam Ryan. There was just half-a-length between Lovely Reaction and Joy Del Mar at Wexford last month and they both look to have solid claims here. The Tom Mullins-trained former already has two wins to her name and is given second preference. Unklipped, who sprang a massive 200/1 surprise at Kilbeggan last summer, is an interesting contender on her handicap debut, while Ballinrobe winner True Or False, top-weight The Dabbler and Tim Doyle's No Fussing are others for the shortlist.

FLICKER OF HOPE had plenty to spare at Wexford and can defy the handicapper again and complete a hat-trick. The return to a longer trip will suit Lovely Reaction and she can give Mark Fahey's charge most to think about. True Or False and Joya Del Mar also make the shortlist.

A rapidly improving sort, FLICKER OF HOPE (nap) has a tougher task in pursuit of a hat-trick but could well be up to it.

20:00 Wetherby Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

OWN ACCORD can go some way to repaying the faith of her connections, having started her career in April at the age of four. The daughter of Pivotal was value for more than the winning margin when scoring here last time out over 7f and the step up in trip looks like a good move on her handicap debut. Newmarket second Victoria Falls and the capable Carolus Magnus are the dangers.

COVERT LEGEND was an eye-catcher at Thirsk 3 weeks ago, not clear run on more than one occasion and finishing on the bridle, and he's worth another chance given he's lightly raced on turf. Unexposed Own Accord, Copper And Five and Victoria Falls are dangers.

Today's ground is an unknown but OWN ACCORD is potentially a cut above this level.

20:15 Sligo NH Flat Race 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Jonathan Sweeney has his horses in tremendous form so far this campaign, saddling four winners from just seven runners, with the three that haven't tasted success all placed. The astute Co Cork handler is represented here by Barnahash Arch and the Arcadio six-year-old warrants the utmost respect. Syndicates Racing are represented by JANA COLOMBE and Ellen Kelly, with preference for the Gordon Elliott-trained former. Bought for 28,000 euros at the Goffs Land Rover Sale in 2022, the French bred is a half-sister to five-time Grade 1 winning stable companion Gerri Colombe. Second on debut at Downpatrick, Ellen Kelly will be well fancied to go a place better, while the locally trained Wild Mandate has some solid form to her name and is another leading hope.

ELLEN KELLY can build on her promising debut second at Downpatrick last month and go one better now. Gordon Elliott newcomer Jana Colombe, a half-sister to Gerri Colombe, would rate a possible big threat if the betting speaks in her favour. Wild Mandate may prove best of the remainder.

The same owners have ELLEN KELLY and Jana Colombe from different yards. The first-named has the benefit of a run so gets the nod.

20:30 Wetherby Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Berry Clever hit the frame in a warm race at Newmarket last month and he makes obvious appeal off an unchanged mark, but MARCHING MAC is preferred. The son of Invincible Army found improvement when sent handicapping for the first time at Brighton a fortnight ago, finishing second, and a subsequent 3lb rise might underestimate him. Others to note include Chatty and Louella.

CHATTY was an eyecatcher on his reappearance and is taken to build on that promise from a handy inside draw. Berry Clever shaped well from further back than ideal at Newmarket last time and is second choice ahead of Marching Mac, who made a good start to his handicap career at Brighton recently.

A maiden handicap in all but name. MARCHING MAC (nap) may well build on his Brighton effort and Berry Clever is second choice.

21:00 Wetherby Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Chilled Out, Life On The Rocks and LASER FOCUS all arrive in search of their hat-tricks and the latter shades preference. James Owen's charge overcame traffic problems to score at Lingfield a fortnight ago and a 9lb hike in the ratings does not look insurmountable for this son of Sea The Stars. Achernar steps up two furlongs on his handicap bow and is worth a market check.

LIFE ON THE ROCKS stormed clear when equipped with a visor at Ayr last week and will take a bit of stopping if in similar form. Fellow hat-trick seekers Chilled Out and Laser Focus can give him most to do in a warm race for the grade.

Three hat-trick seekers spice up this 0-70 apprentice handicap. CHILLED OUT has been treated kindest by the handicapper.
