Ocean Runner was perhaps a shade disappointing when sent off an odds-on favourite at Ascot earlier in the month, having cost 625,000gns at the Craven Breeze-Up, and Charlie Appleby's colt arrives with something to prove. With that in mind, the vote goes to BONELESS, who was also purchased at the same sale last month for 205,000gns and is a half-brother to a Listed-placed individual. Kingswood Flyer, How's The Guvnor and Matloob are others capable of a decent showing.

A hot race on paper, interesting newcomers taking on a trio who've already shown promise. OCEAN RUNNER cost 625,000 gns earlier this year and showed potential when odds on at Ascot on debut 17 days ago. He's the most likely winner, though Matloob, whilst not actually achieving much, really caught the eye on debut, and Boneless and Kingswood Flyer are both newcomers to note.

This can concern OCEAN RUNNER and Matloob, who both shaped well on debut and are bred to enjoy this quicker ground.

A game winner over C&D last time out, a 4lb penalty looks unlikely to stop BIG TIME MAYBE from securing a hat-trick in an otherwise weak contest. The gelded son of Dandy Man had been kept busy on the all-weather before that outing and defied a 7lb rise to complete a double. The reopposing I'm Mable (fourth) is feared most, while Battle Point completes the shortlist.

VANDAD has dropped to a very tempting mark and given he's 2-2 over C&D a revival could be on the cards now he's back on turf. He's chanced over the hat-trick seeking Big Time Maybe and stablemate Battle Point.

Despite a 4lb penalty for his narrow success here a week ago, it's hard to oppose BIG TIME MAYBE given his fine record over C&D (4-8).

In a contest dominated by unraced juveniles, it could pay to side with MAPMAKER who, given her dam was a half-sister to Listed-placed juvenile Galtymore Lad, looks capable of making a winning start to her racing career. The booking of Oisin Murphy on Princess In Rome must be noted and any strength in the market should not be ignored for the daughter of Masar, while Onigiri is another newcomer of interest.

Little worthwhile form on offer so it may pay to focus on the newcomers, with ONIGIRI just about the pick on paper given her dam won over 5f as a juvenile and has produced a winning sprinter. Princess In Rome and Moneypiece are also likely types.

This is likely to go to a newcomer and the well-drawn Super Sprint entry MAPMAKER is the suggestion with Geologist next best.

IMPRESSIVE ACT was runner-up on debut at York to a rival who already had a run under his belt and the son of Dubawi commands the utmost respect in his bid to go one better. Golden Mind ran with promise to finish third at Hamilton first time out and is capable of progressing from that display, while Commander Of Life and Fusterlandia appeal most of the newcomers.

IMPRESSIVE ACT is beautifully bred and showed more than enough on debut at York 12 days ago to suggest a race of this nature will be coming his way sooner rather than later. Golden Mind has a similar profile and will step forward from his Hamilton debut just over a fortnight ago. Fusterlandia and Salsa Dancer are the interesting newcomers.

This looks between IMPRESSIVE ACT and Golden Mind, both of whom are likely to come on from their promising debuts.

BUSH ROSE hasn't been seen since finishing a fair fourth at Beverley on her racecourse bow last August, but Roger Varian's inmate is fairly well-related and looks worth another chance given her dam was Listed-placed in France during her career. Hoornblower has proven to be capable of better than his most recent outing suggests and he could bounce back, while The Jackler also warrants a market check after doing some good late work on debut.

BUSH ROSE was held back by inexperience on debut at Beverley last summer but that race worked out quite well and, representing a leading yard, there should be plenty more to come from her as a 3-y-o. Hoornblower is slightly more exposed but he will be bang there if replicating the pick of his AW form on turf.

Preference is for BUSH ROSE who should be suited by the extra furlong. It would be no surprise if she has progressed from two to three.

First-time cheekpieces could do the trick for PLEDGEOFALLEGIANCE, who took a big step forward when filling the runner-up spot over 1m4f at Lingfield earlier this month. The gelded son of Sea The Stars makes his turf debut, but his dam finished a creditable fourth in the Oaks during her career, so he seems capable of acting on this surface. Moush can give him plenty to think about with his most recent run for second in mind, while Book Of Tales also warrants a market check.

There should be more to come from PLEDGEOFALLEGIANCE, particularly now granted a stiffer test of stamina, and he can get off the mark here. Fair Dinkum and Moush are feared most.

Having improved for the step up in trip over C&D last week KING HARRY can get off the mark by beating Pledgeofallegiance.

TORFRIDA benefited from her debut over C&D when making every yard of the running to strike at Doncaster when dropped to 6f. The manner of victory suggested the extra furlong is unlikely to make a difference and she is open to progression in handicaps. Star Sound has placed on all four outings to date and is expected to be in the mix, while Liberty Mountain and Menalippe complete the shortlist.

The handicap ANNIE LAW won at Kempton in February is strong form for the grade and, having got back on track switched to turf at Doncaster a month ago, she could be the answer to what is admittedly an open contest. Torfrida should have more to offer, with Menalippe and Liberty Mountain solid opponents.

Torfrida is the dark one but LIBERTY MOUNTAIN, Menalippe and Star Sound all ran solid races last time out.

A case can be made for most of these, but CONFILS secured a comfortable success over C&D earlier this month and is taken to follow up here, despite having to shoulder top-weight after a 4lb rise. The booking of Andrea Atzeni adds further appeal to her cause, but Fieldsman was only beaten half a length over 7f most recently and should not be dismissed lightly. Last-time-out winner Romanovich is another to consider off 2lb higher.

ROMANOVICH is less exposed than most and found some improvement to make his second start in handicaps a winning one at Chepstow recently, just holding on having seemed to idle late on. He gets the narrow vote to follow up, with Confils and Mr Marvlos others fancied to be thereabouts.

Burglar was a beaten favourite when finishing third over this trip at Kempton last month. He is taken to improve for powerful connections, but CRYSTAL MARINER scored at Newcastle most recently and is marginally preferred back on turf. His dam is a half-sister to Group 1-winner Crystal Ocean and Sir Michael Stoute's charge looks capable of securing a double here. Nine Six Five and Spectacular Style add further spice to the race.

CRYSTAL MARINER sets the form standard on his Newcastle victory and likely has more to give yet. He can score again. Burglar and Nine Six Five head the list of dangers in what should prove an informative contest.

There is not much to choose on form between four of them, among whom CRYSTAL MARINER and Burglar may prove best.

PROPHET'S DREAM has shown plenty of promise since making his handicap debut last June and the son of Outstrip bolted up on his seasonal reappearance over this trip at Bath earlier this month. This is a tougher race and he has gone up 11lb for that success, though, so Tudor can give him plenty to think about on his return to turf. Croachill sports first-time blinkers and any strength in the market should not be ignored for powerful connections.

PROPHET'S DREAM has been hit with an 11 lb rise for his Bath success but he couldn't have done it much easier and looks good for the follow up. Croachill should have come on plenty for her Ascot return and is the danger in first-time headgear.

Ed Dunlop's WESTERN STARS might be the one. All things considered, he ran pretty well last time at Wetherby.

Letter Of The Law looked outpaced over 7f at Chester two weeks ago, but he can be a more potent force back over further today. Cape Cornwall Rose (second) is now 4lb better off with Seattle King (winner) on their recent C&D meeting, but that might not be enough to see her reverse the form. COME ON JOHN did well to win at Wolverhampton last time out when given plenty to do from the rear and, if proving as effective back on the grass off a 4lb higher mark, he could double up.

CAPE CORNWALL ROSE got right back on track in a refitted hood when runner-up over C&D last time and is weighted to go one better off an unchanged mark. Recent Wolverhampton scorer Come On John rates a big threat though, with course-winner Letter of The Law and William Jarvis' new recruit Rose Camira not discounted either in an open handicap.

SPRING FEVER displayed a fair level of ability across her three runs to date, each over a mile, and it would be no surprise were the daughter of Dubawi to improve upped in trip for her handicap debut. She edges the vote over Nakano, who chased home the smart Infinite Cosmos when finishing fourth at Newmarket 25 days ago. Zarga and Iato's Angel can battle it out for the minor honours.

ZARGA posted an encouraging third on her Nottingham reappearance earlier this month, leaving the impression there would be further improvement when stepped up to this sort of trip. She is fancied to score. Nakano and Spring Fever can also make their presence felt.

After shaping with promise in a maiden won by Musidora third Infinite Cosmos, NAKANO may have got in lightly given her potential.

This represents a drop in class for MANITOU, who sports first-time blinkers following a disappointing run over a mile in a handicap at Doncaster most recently. He's taken to bounce back, while the unexposed Motasaleeta is related to a few smart types and should not be taken lightly on her turf debut. Crown Bridges can build on his comeback run at Hamilton.

A dual winner as a 2-y-o, MANITOU needs to shrug off a pair of lesser displays upon returning this term but he did have excuses on account of the heavy ground at Doncaster latest and this marked drop in grade could well see him get back on track. Montelusa is clearly not straightforward but has the ability to play a part on debut for his new yard. Crown Bridges may do best of the remainder.

The 3yo MONTELUSA has stamina to prove but his consistency ticks a big box in this field.

RAWYAAN had dropped in the handicap prior to finishing a good third over C&D last month, an effort for which he was subsequently eased a further 1lb. He's now below his last winning mark, which came at Goodwood last June, and that could see him regain the winning thread today. Narrowly denied over C&D a week ago, King Of War can make his presence felt now upped in class and in receipt of weight, while Little Boy Blue appeals most of the remainder.

SIR WINSTON shaped well when second at Lingfield last time and can go one better now. Last week's C&D second King of War may provide the chief threat ahead of Rawyaan and Little Boy Blue, who won this race last year.

The choice is KING OF WAR, 2lb lower than when winning over C&D last summer and only just beaten off this mark back here seven days ago.

Aihawawi has been in good form on the all-weather recently and ought to be capable of mounting a stern challenge, while Powdering completes the shortlist.

PLATINUM GIRL has returned an improved performer and a 4 lb rise for her Wetherby win a fortnight ago looks perfectly fair. She can go in again, likely at the chief expense of Roaring Ralph and Ubettabequick.

She's potentially well treated from an opening mark of 70 judged on her earlier novice form and it looks best to side with the Havana Grey filly once more. Musical Tribute should give her running and appeals most of the remainder, while recent Chelmsford scorer Poweredbylove is another to consider.

DESTINED was quite a convincing winner of a Redcar novice on her reappearance and doesn't look overburdened from an opening mark of 70. Musical Tribute rates an obvious danger after her good third at Salisbury on her first attempt in handicap company. Last month's AW maiden winner Poweredbylove is another who could get involved.

Comfortable Redcar winner Destined is in the right hands to keep progressing but MUSICAL TRIBUTE (nap) gets preference.

MISTER X, who tries cheekpieces for the first time, has already tasted success in handicaps and, from 2lb lower than his last wining mark, he rates as a key player dropping back to this level. Luke Catton was in the saddle for three of his four previous wins and the rider's 5lb claim comes in handy today. Storyinthesand has snippets of form that suggests she can also go well, while the unexposed Film Star needs monitoring in the betting on her handicap debut.

This represents a good opportunity for THREEBARS, who produced her best effort yet when going close over a mile at Bath where she left the impression that dropping back to this trip would be a good thing. Mister X was a winner of his sole previous start here in a nursery last September and he could prove most troublesome, if responding well to the first-time cheekpieces. Provided they both handle conditions, Deed Pole and Storyinthesand should also be involved.

Preference is for THREEBARS (nap), runner-up in both starts on turf and off the same mark as when beaten a neck last time.

BRINGSTY is a dependable, in-form four-time winner who won a similar race at Gowran recently. He might prefer a fraction further these days but is well suited by good ground. Stablemate Qasbaz's rating has fallen since returning from a 573-day absence in February but ran well behind the selection at Gowran. He is 4lb better off and has solid place claims. Hypernova has been frustrating to follow on Dundalk's all-weather but is somewhat unexposed on turf, winning and placing from two grass runs. He returns from a mini-break and is suited by good ground and this distance. Notforalongtime beat the selection in February and while well held in the recent Gowran claimer, that was his first run for 88 days and should improve. 10-time winner Tai Sing Yeh's stamina will be stretched while The Cola Brasil has enough weight from his 59 rating.

HYPERNOVA sets a good standard back on turf and gets the vote over Big Baby Bull and Gowran-winner Bringsty.

Despite unpromising recent form-figures BIG BABY BULL may retain enough ability to win a race of this standard.

This looks a good time to side with GALTON, who is unexposed on turf and represents a bit of value to go well from the bottom of the handicap. The selection was just three-quarters of a length behind the in-form Kodebreaker when they met at Southwell at the end of March, but has a live chance of turning the form around off 3lb better terms. The hat-trick seeking Premiership is another worthy for consideration, while Martin's Brig also warrants a second look.

PREMIERSHIP has really turned a corner this season and hasn't been harshly treated for his latest win at Wetherby. He can score again. Kodebreaker and Galton can also make their presence felt.

The in-form PREMIERSHIP is taken to confirm recent Wetherby running with Kodebreaker and Makalu and complete the hat-trick.

BALLYSTONE already has jumping experience from a run in a point-to-point and may be able to get off the mark now switching to hurdles. The Shirocco gelding has been placed twice in three bumper runs and was only denied by a head at Cork last month. That was a big run as he was only collared close home by a decent yardstick in Will Do. Sherodan could be a danger but returns from a long absence. The Hillstar gelding won on debut at Tipperary in July 2021 before chasing home a smart sort in Level Neverending at Killarney the following month. Seasett was a decent sort on the Flat in England, achieving a career high mark of 88 and is one to note on his hurdling debut.

Very likely to go to a hurdling newcomer, with BALLYSTONE, who ran to a high figure when second in a bumper last month, preferred in favour of Sherodan and British Flat recruit Seasett.

Switching to hurdles should be no issue for point runner-up BALLYSTONE who ran so well in his latest bumper.

Urban Champion shouldn't be too far away if able to replicate his recent Wolverhampton second now back on the grass.

URBAN CHAMPION returned from breathing surgery with an improved second at Wolverhampton and is fancied to go one better now at the chief expense of Raincloud who is weighed to have a big say on the back of her good Bath third last time out. In-form maiden Future Times seems sure to be on the premises too.

An open finale and trappy. RAINCLOUD was all the better for going over this trip on her handicap debut.

She counts a C&D victory among those wins and the forecast ground conditions could be in instrumental in her staging a successful return to action. Wiley Post and The Princes Poet are also considered.

Preference is for WILEY POST, who scored here this time last year and made a pleasing return to action at Windsor earlier this month. Bobby On The Beat and Major Gatsby rate the principal dangers.

NOT FORGOTTEN ran well on reappearance in a useful maiden in April. The winner of that Dundalk race finished sixth in last weekend's 2,000 Guineas with the runner-up winning a maiden next time and while he might prefer slightly further, looks capable. Collage was beaten a head at Gowran by a filly who was placed with a rating of 86 last weekend. That winner has clearly progressed but Collage is herself open to improvement being out of a Group 2 winner. Chiketto bumped into Paddington at the Curragh last October and while well held on reappearance, that Cork form has also worked out well. He encounters good ground for the first time which could bring about some improvement. City Exile was well held at Leopardstown latest while Bright Dick, Blue News and Golden Spangle need to improve to win. Woodcock Flight reappears.

NOT FORGOTTEN made a pleasing return at Dundalk 7 weeks ago, form which has been franked, and he can open his account with more improvement to come now. Collage went close behind a subsequent winner on debut at Gowran and has more to offer. Chiketto should find a race also.

Brodie Hampson gave MONSIEUR FANTAISIE a good ride when the partnership finished a very close second at Chelmsford 19 days ago and, with the switch in surfaces not expected to pose any issues, this could be the day for Archie Watson's gelding to break his duck on turf. A good break is always crucial in this type of races and habitual front-runner Foreseeable Future is also high on the shortlist, while last week's Ayr winner One Last Hug is also considered, despite a 4lb penalty.

FORESEEABLE FUTURE is an uncomplicated sort who chases a hat-trick and given he escapes a penalty for last week's apprentice win at Ripon, a bold hat-trick bid looks on the cards. One Last Hug has also won his last couple but he does have an extra 4 lb to shoulder, with Enderman another to consider.

Lots of solid, in-form options, notably Foreseeable Future, but SPARTAN FIGHTER may be able to capitalise on a lowly turf mark.

RING O ROSES may be able to gain compensation here after a narrow defeat at Downpatrick last time. The Flemensfirth mare ran a nice race when third on debut at Navan and was a short enough price to open her account on her return from a short break earlier this month. After a mistake at the last she was collared close home and lost out by the narrowest of margins. She doesn't need to improve much to score now. Estepona Sun could be a danger after a good run to finish third on his return at Clonmel recently. The Last Mardi makes his reappearance having last been seen at Galway in September and is another for the shortlist. He was a dual bumper winner last year and showed a nice bit in two outings over timber.

The fact RING O ROSES has had a recent outing tips things in her favour over The Last Mardi, who hasn't been seen since finishing fifth at Galway in September. Lazer Wolf and Estepona Sun should get involved in the battle for minor honours in a race where it's hard to make a case for many.

The mare RING O ROSES appeals as the best option after running well in both her races and the form at Downpatrick last time is okay.

This step up in trip promises to prompt further improvement and he gets the nod ahead of Kamanika, who will be a threat if able to bounce back from a below-par effort last time. From a speedy family and whose dam's five other runners have won, she was green on debut at Dundalk but ran well and didn't run badly on soft ground in a smart Listed race at the Curragh subsequently. She was ultimately well beaten but that form is strong and she should be seen in a better light on good ground. Tiger Belle narrowly beat Jenni to win at Cork recently (Moral Turpitude was fifth) and is now 2lb worse off. Tiger Belle had breeze-up experience and Jennie was well beaten on testing-ground debut and while there is little between them, the application of first-time blinkers on Jenni is a negative and that Cork form is as yet untested. Lightening Army showed promise on debut but needs to improve to win while Supersonic Man finished nicely enough at Naas and can improve. Gold Coast Galleon was well beaten on debut.

Plenty of promising juveniles here, not least GOLD COAST GALLEON, who ran better than his finishing position suggests on debut at Naas and looks open to plenty of improvement. He's taken to see off Cork-winner Tiger Belle and Supersonic Man.

This looks like a nice stepping stone for CUSTOM OF THE SEA after an impressive winning debut at Killarney 16 days ago. The Soldier Of Fortune gelding asserted in good style going to the last on his racecourse bow and looked open to plenty of improvement then having made a couple of slight errors in the closing stages. Your Honor sets the standard off a mark of 120 and has to be respected. He was outclassed in Grade 1 company at Punchestown last time but had run a solid race in handicap company previously off a pound higher mark. Media Naranja also ran well in handicap company last time, when third at Cheltenham last month, and is another that has to come into calculations.

Three in with a chance here and it's CUSTOM OF THE SEA who receives the vote having created a very favourable impression when making a winning debut at Killarney a fortnight ago. Media Naranja and Your Honor are feared most, in that order.

Though CUSTOM OF THE SEA must have been fairly wound up to win at Killarney on debut, there is surely improvement to come.

A 125,000-euro yearling, he makes a somewhat belated debut but it is encouraging he hasn't yet been gelded and contests an ordinary maiden. Saturn Seven drops to five furlongs for the first time but has bits of fair form, is consistent, likes good ground and is by a sprinting stallion. On a line through dependable Daisy Jones, Saturn Seven has a narrow edge over Heartrate, who has a similar form profile. Son Of Sampers, a half-brother to Group 1 winner Laws Of Indices, has been well beaten in two recent handicaps while Wild Eyed Girl was beaten two lengths by Heartrate at Navan and is a lowly-rated 17-race maiden.

Longer term, SATURN SEVEN's future likely lies over further but she sets the standard on her runner-up effort at Gowran on her penultimate start and a repeat may well be enough to see her open her account. Heartrate rates the chief threat, ahead of newcomer Never Shout Never.

Longuerue looks the pick of the remainder following some mixed efforts in France.

Mick Appleby got back among the winners the other day so it might be worth siding with IVY AVENUE, who is well handicapped if a return to firmer ground helps her recapture anything like the pick of her Irish form. Course-specialist Nine Elms is the obvious threat.

The Walk In The Park mare stretched clear to win by 12 lengths on her handicap debut and there looks more to come from the unexposed five-year-old. This is a competitive contest and Gordon Elliott saddles two last time out winners. Calico has really found the winning thread now having been frustrating and she could be nicely treated with Danny Gilligan taking 7lb off her back. Stablemate Royal Eagle won well at Kilbeggan recently and is another for the shortlist.

Preference is for ROYAL EAGLE, who resumed her progress when scoring at Kilbeggan earlier this month and remains low mileage over hurdles. Can't Stop Smiling and Calico head the list of dangers.

Though CAN'T STOP SMILING is 13lb higher than for her easy C&D win last time, she could well defy that rise.

CHRISZOFF did the job well at Wolverhampton, despite still looking like a work in progress, and he is hard to oppose here with further improvement anticipated. Hill Filly showed ability on debut in a backend Nottingham maiden at 2 yrs and she is preferred to newcomer Quietness for forecast purposes.

Hill Filly is better than she was able to show on her sole 2yo start but CHRISZOFF looks to have been found a golden opportunity.

Gabriella's Spirit, out of a half-sister to Group 1 winner Profitable, is interesting on debut for a new yard running in a first-time tongue-tie. Realtin Fantasy is 3lb out of the handicap but gained her only win over this course and distance.

Plenty arrive with claims including LOKADA who ran well on the back of 5 months off when second behind Harry's Hill at Naas earlier this month and, now meeting that rival on these much more favourable terms, she could be the answer. The likeable Curraheen Princess, Dundalk-scorer Collective Power and low-mileage Cash Or Crypto head up the dangers.

Willie Mullins' charge was beaten favourite when last seen at Fairyhouse in November but that was on testing ground and this sounder surface should be more to his liking now. The Imperial Monarch gelding won over fences on his first outing for the champion trainer and is rated 11lb higher over the larger obstacles. Mitiva was well beaten when sent off favourite in a maiden hurdle at Gowran on her last outing but may appreciate nicer ground now and could be well treated on her handicap debut, judged on previous form. Ballinlough Gale was third behind easy winner Can't Stop Smiling here last time and off the same mark has place prospects again.

There was plenty of promise in ATLANTIC WONDER's reappearance effort at Down Royal and he could be the answer if able to build on that here. Next on the list is The Toothpicker, who should be all the better for his comeback spin at Cork and this 6-y-o is lurking on a decent mark. Mitiva is of strong interest now handicapping and is shortlisted, along with the Willie Mullins-trained We'llhavewan and likely improvers Eighty Eight and Solitary Man.

A few with chances in a competitive handicap but MITIVA might be the answer now sent into handicaps.

Danny Gilligan gave his mount a confident ride last time and he flew the last to record a cosy three-parts-of-a-length win over Tilloughna. The front pair pulled well clear of the field then. This doesn't look a particularly strong race now. Glenmalure Lodge would appear an obvious danger having run well to chase home Bugscuffle here earlier in the month. She only got a couple of pounds for that run. Aliunde has ran solid races on his last couple of outings and is another that has to be considered.

ARCTIC AMBITION boasts a good strike rate over fences and opened his account at the twelfth attempt in this sphere at Limerick just four days ago. He is now 2-3 under Danny Gilligan and, provided that this doesn't come too soon, the 8-y-o should prove very hard to beat under a penalty. Glenmalure Lodge remains winless following 17 attempts over hurdles but she's a live each-way player on the back of a solid effort here. Aliunde, Portland Row and Silverstrand are others with each-way claims.

Gordon Elliott looks to strike while the iron is hot with ARCTIC AMBITION (nap) after he exploited his lower hurdle mark last Friday.

King Cabo and Wizarding are others for consideration.

TRIGGERED made it three wins from his last four starts at Wolverhampton on Thursday, so this course winner is taken to defy a 4 lb penalty and bag another victory at the chief expense of the handily-weighted Wizarding who returns from a break with solid claims. In-form pair Revolutionary Man and Ajrad need considering too in a competitive handicap.

MISS UPBEAT is by a sprinting stallion but seems to stay well, showing some promise at Leopardstown recently and contests a weaker handicap. She has shaped well on occasions and while she hung left at Leopardstown, beat plenty horses and her same rider utilises her 5lb claim today. Stablemate and 10-time winner Wild Shot ran well enough at Gowran recently and should get involved being a previous course and distance winner. Sea Oscar, by Sea The Stars, is a 15-race maiden who has raced in Britain and France and having run well over this distance at Dundalk in March, should get involved. Tastyee has a sprinting pedigree but seemed to improve over middle distances recently and is interesting stepping up further to this distance, on the flat.

Lots with chances. SEA OSCAR has made a very good start to life with Joseph O'Brien so looks the way to go here on the back of her Dundalk second. C&D winner Wild Shot will be suited by this longer trip and is next on the list ahead of in-form Tastyee and handily-weighted Mayaal.

He's 2lb lower than his last wining mark and is dangerous to underestimate getting weight from the rest. Laheg looks the best of the rest, with Blind Beggar also respected.

MAJESKI MAN was better than ever when an all-the-way winner at Beverley a fortnight ago and might be able to defy a small rise. Laheg didn't fare too badly down at 5f for the first time in a Hamilton Class 3 recently and might be the one to give the selection most to think about if reacting positively to first-time blinkers.

All five runners have claims but there was a lot to like about MAJESKI MAN (nap)'s finishing effort last time and he can follow up.

The September Storm gelding went up 7lb for that success, his third outing for Andrew McNamara, but still looks on a competitive mark in an ordinary event. Gold Haven looks a danger. She ran well in more competitive events at Navan early in the year and her trainer Paul Flynn has his team in fine form. Duffys Getaway didn't run too badly when fourth down in Cork last time and could be place material in this.

DUFFYS GETAWAY has been given a chance by the handicapper and posted his best effort over hurdles when fourth at Cork earlier this month. He gets the nod in an open-looking contest. Bugscuffle and Iridescent should also go well.

Provided a three-month break doesn't stall her progress then GOLD HAVEN should run well after an encouraging start for Paul Flynn.

NOGO'S DREAM hit the woodwork at Ascot 18 days ago, where he hung in the closing stages. Connections reach for first-time blinkers and if they can help sharpen him up, he might be able to go one better. Ascari makes his handicap debut from a potentially workable mark and must be considered, while Royal Bliss, who showed promise in France at the back end of last year, could also have a say.

NOGO'S DREAM doesn't appear to be the most straightforward of conveyances but the addition of blinkers may well help in that respect, and he looks the one to beat having made the frame in higher-grade handicaps at Newmarket and Ascot the last twice. With his reappearance run under his belt, Overnight Oats could be the one to follow the selection home, though handicap debutant Ascari will be a threat if coping with conditions. Raven's Up is also shortlisted.

Nogo's Dream should go well if first-time blinkers help but ASCARI may well improve for the drop to 6f on his handicap debut.

GALILEO'S COMPASS looked laboured on debut but could benefit significantly from the run and notably steps up in distance. By Galileo and a brother to a Group 2 winner, he finished well enough at Roscommon and while the form is nothing outstanding, improvement is likely. Albert Park showed ability in a course and distance maiden last month and while that form is nothing special, is open to progression. Cape Bridgewater showed promise in two Dundalk maidens, notably in March, and while probably unsuited by heavy ground when a market drifter at the Curragh subsequently, was nonetheless well beaten. Stablemate Milwaukee is tried in first-time blinkers having been well beaten at Leopardstown but should be better suited by better ground. The Great Kingdom is a notable newcomer, being a half-brother to St Leger winner Galileo Chrome and Stakes-placed White Caviar. Well-related homebred Silver Salver is out of a winning half-sister to Group 1 winner Coronet.

GALILEO'S COMPASS made a promising start when a running-on fifth at Roscommon last week and is fancied to take a sizeable step forward here with this longer trip looking a big plus. Milwaukee is another with better days ahead of him and rated next best, especially if the fitting of blinkers has the desired effect. Newcomer The Great Kingdom is worth consideration too, particularly if the betting vibes are positive.

DR EGGMAN looks the one they have to beat in this. The Saint Des Saints gelding comes here off the back of a good run to finish third in a strong contest at Punchestown last month. He has been third on both starts now and looks to be facing an easier task now. Arabian Diamond chased home another Willie Mullins-trained runner in Readin Tommy Wrong here earlier in the month and should be thereabouts but could be bumping into a useful sort again. Intense Approach cost £210,000 after winning a point-to-point at Farmacaffley in February and he looks one to note on his first outing for John McConnell.

DR EGGMAN has been placed in good bumpers at Fairyhouse and Punchestown this spring and will likely be hard to beat unless the betting speaks strongly in the favour of expensive point recruit Intense Approach. Gordon Elliott's Arabian Diamond is best of the remainder.

It is difficult to oppose DR EGGMAN after a solid comeback run at Punchestown, with improvement likely too.
