13:25 Punchestown Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The Gordon Elliott-trained OMNISCIENT should prove difficult to beat. A dual winner on the Flat when trained in Britain, the five-year-old has shaped with distinct promise on both starts over hurdles to date. The form of his Fairyhouse fourth received a boost at the weekend when the fifth placed horse easily landed her maiden. His latest Naas third was also franked in that the winner would almost certainly have won a competitive handicap next time but for unseating at the last. Hurdling debutant Mywayofthinkin lacks experience but was runner-up in two bumper starts, so clearly has ability. Thurles second Clonshire River should also be competitive.

OMNISCIENT has some useful form to his name on the Flat and looks ready to open his account in this sphere on the back of a good third in a big-field Naas novice last time out. Thurles runner-up Clonshire River could emerge as the main danger ahead of newcomers Mywayofthinkin and Nevereverever.

After finishing second in two good bumpers and being well related, MYWAYOFTHINKIN looks a nice prospect.

13:55 Punchestown Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

It is difficult to see past the Willie Mullins-trained hurdling debutant BELLOCCIO on his first start in this country. A 105-rated Listed horse on the level, the six-year-old should have far too much class for these rivals if jumping adequately. It would be no surprise to see the son of Belardo run up a sequence over the summer. Former UK point-to-point winner Bodybuilder also makes his hurdling here in this contest. Now in the care of Gordon Elliott, the gelding will almost certainly need further in time. However, he still commands respect on this introduction to these shores. With the Paul Nolan string in great form at present, Jhentong Enki is another worthy of consideration.

Smart Flat performer BELLOCCIO will be a tough nut to crack if taking to this discipine for his new yard. Jhentong Enki and Martinstown are also of interest.

Martinstown did win for Aidan O'Brien but BELLOCCIO was the superior Flat horse.

14:10 Nottingham Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY finished a close-up third over 6f at Kempton on his latest outing and has been given a rating of 80 after that display. If the son of Starspangledbanner can settle better down in trip with William Buick booked, he could be the one to beat. Duran outran his big odds to reach the frame on his return from a year off the track over 6f here last time and he has to be respected with the likelihood of more to come, while any market confidence behind newcomer Felicity would also be interesting.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY has come close in both outings for his new yard and can deservedly open his account. Fahrenheit Seven look the likeliest danger on form whilst market strength behind newcomer Felicity could prove significant.

Newcomer Felicity is respected, but the vote goes to GENERAL ASSEMBLY whose latest Kempton third has worked out so well.

14:20 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This is a wide-open handicap to kick the card off, but marginal preference is for I'M MABLE. Michael Attwater's six-year-old won over C&D off a 10lb higher mark in June last year and looked unlucky when finishing third here 12 days ago. Off an unchanged mark of 47, she looks the one to beat. Street Parade might turn out to be the main danger, having finished a place in front of the selection when second here last time out and has leading claims. The Charlie Wallis-trained Arzaak, who will be ridden by Hollie Doyle, could also pose a threat.

This looks likely to be run at a good clip which can play to the strengths of STREET PARADE. Michael Attwater's 8-y-o ran well on the back of 8 months off when runner-up over C&D 12 days ago and he's on a handy mark if building on that now. 3-y-o Anglesey Lad and Windsor scorer Jacquelina are others to consider. I'm Mable isn't out of things either.

Well-treated C&D winners I'M MABLE and Street Parade ran encouragingly here 12 days ago and hold solid claims.

14:28 Punchestown Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Third at Down Royal on his reappearance last month, the Paul Flynn-trained SCOTT LANG followed that run with a highly creditable fourth on the level last time. Dropping back to the minimum trip could well suit the seven-year-old, who tends to race prominently. Although yet to win from seven starts over hurdles, he looks fairly handicapped in this code. Son Of Hypnos won over fences at Downpatrick last month before running below-par when reverting to hurdles at that same track next time. The Kevin Smith-trained gelding has to be given another chance here in what looks an ordinary race despite the numbers. In For The Night can also get involved after his recent return at Ballinrobe.

SON OF HYPNOS ran out of petrol over 2¾m at Downpatrick recently but much better is expected back down in trip here. Indeed, the 7-y-o proved his wellbeing when scoring over fences back from a break at the same course last month and he remains feasibly treated. Got To Fly has claims judged on her peak form and she is just about feared most ahead of Edge of My Seat and Sayitfirst, while Springboard will probably leave the form of his efforts in maiden hurdles well behind now handicapping.

A chance is taken on CONTAINER MADNESS who hinted at improvement on his handicap debut.

14:40 Nottingham Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A rating of 90 may overestimate Native Warrior's ability after his below-par fourth at Kempton on his return to the fray last month, so he can be taken on with FIELD OF PLENTY. The son of Inns Of Court changed hands for 105,000gns and is a half-brother to Glounthaune, who struck at Group 3 level, so he could make an impression on his debut. Far Lane is another newcomer that needs to be monitored in the betting.

FAR LANE ticks plenty of the right boxes on paper and confidence behind this Cracksman colt in the betting would look highly significant. He is taken to make a winning start to his career, perhaps at the chief expense of Fayqa, who showed clear promise despite landing a meaningful blow on her introduction at Ascot. Native Warrior is a strong candidate but there's an air of vulnerability about him. Field of Plenty is another newcomer to note in the betting.

This can go to NATIVE WARRIOR who sets a fair standard, including when fourth behind Notable Speech at Kempton last month.

14:50 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

There was plenty to like about the way COGSWORTH opened his account over 7f at Chelmsford 19 days ago, and a 4lb rise in the handicap should not prove to be a hindrance to his outstanding credentials, with Silvestre De Sousa retained to ride. Gary and Josh Moore have been in good form recently and their handicap debutant Red Cloud could be worth a second look. Take Care may do best of the remainder.

COGSWORTH was having just his second start at this trip when scoring at Chelmsford earlier this month and remains fairly treated. He can follow up. Krysdanjord and Dancing The Dream can also make their presence felt.

On current form COGSWORTH (nap) holds the best chance, followed by Krysdanjord. Dancing The Dream completes the shortlist.

14:58 Punchestown Maiden Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Having twice reached the frame in similar races here last season, Gordon Elliott's LIGHTKEEPER can finally make the breakthrough. The six-year-old was unquestionably disappointing at Navan on his final start but prior to that had run well in competitive maidens all winter and he looks the most likely winner if bouncing back. Camino Rock boasts an almost identical profile in that he too had been running well all year before failing to get involved last time. The Mouse Morris-trained gelding also has placed form at this venue. Fenway Park also holds strong claims on the strength of his fourth-placed finish at the festival here earlier this month.

FENWAY PARK got back on track here earlier this month and will appreciate this stiffer test of stamina. He can open his account. Camino Rock and Lightkeeper rate the principal dangers.

Preference is for FENWAY PARK who had an excuse when pulled up two starts back and he ran well on either side of that.

15:10 Nottingham Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MUTAAWID makes plenty of appeal on his pedigree as a full-brother to Group 1 winner Mostahdaf and it would be no surprise to see him make an impact on his debut for the John and Thady Gosden team. The main danger might be Battle Queen, who brings solid form to the table after filling the runner-up spot at Southwell last month and she should go well, while Zoffandia would be of interest if the market spoke in his favour.

MUTAWID hails from an excellent family so this son of Frankel is taken to go in at the first time of asking for the in-form Gosden team. Battle Queen rates much the pick of those with experience and is a major threat with debutant Zoffandia another highly respected, epecially if the market vibes are positive.

This can go to the newcomer MUTAAWID, a brother to the stable's high-class Mostahdaf and a half-brother to another Group 1 winner.

15:20 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Despite all of his wins here coming over 7f, five-time course winner UNCLE DICK could be hard to beat. The top-weight did very well to snatch victory off Otago in the final stride here 20 days ago, having come from further back than ideal, and should be in the shake-up off only a 2lb higher mark. The latter does renew rivalry with the former on better terms, though, and must be respected. Hitched is returning from a 213-day absence but scored at Wolverhampton off 2lb lower when last seen and is worth a second look.

OTAGO ran better than for a while when collared on the line by Uncle Dick here earlier in the month and, with the drop back in trip likely to suit him better than his old rival, he's selected to reverse the form and come out on top. Hitched was steadily progressive last year and could have more to offer in 2024, while Dion Baker ought to remain competitive.

Last year's winner DIAMOND COTTAGE is preferred. Otago is second choice.

15:28 Punchestown Handicap Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CLUB MANAGER can provide another winner for in-form trainer Gavin Cromwell. A stayer on the Flat when trained in the UK, the four-year-old did well to win his maiden hurdle at Bellewstown. However, the son of Nathaniel showed that he could be very well treated off a mark of 113, when staying on strongly in a better race than this one on handicap debut when fifth here earlier this month. With connections wisely opting to step up in trip, the gelding should be hard to beat. Benjis Benefit has had three different trainers in his last four runs but the six-year-old has been runner-up in two of those. He clearly has plenty of ability. Handicap debutant Dorans Law is another to consider.

BENJIS BENEFIT was much improved when landing a 20-runner handicap on his first start for his current yard at Down Royal 15 days ago (later awarded race having suffered interference run-in) and a 7 lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent the follow up. Club Manager wasn't ideally placed at this course on his most recent outing and remains capable of better, with Johngus heading up the remainder.

This step up in trip could well suit CLUB MANAGER although he'll have to jump better than at the festival

15:40 Nottingham Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A game winner of a maiden at Goodwood 17 days ago, WORRALS created the impression she has a bright future and can flourish now she steps into handicap company from a highly workable mark. Charming Whisper and Beauty Generation are couple of other promising types to consider, but Alvesta makes her handicap bow from a tempting rating and may be the one to give the selection most to think about here.

WORRALS is from a good family and this opening mark looks reasonable judged on her recent success in a Goodwood maiden. She is the most appealing candidate, with Great Chieftain nominated as the main danger and the likes of Beauty Generation, Phoenix Duchess and Yaajooz are others to consider from an each-way perspective.

There can be optimism that the attractively bred LIVEANDLETLIVE remains capable of better and he had an excuse on his handicap debut.

15:50 Brighton Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Marcus Tregoning boasts an impressive 37 per cent strike-rate here in the last five seasons, with seven winners from just 19 runners, and his only representative on today's card is ATALANTA BREEZE. This eight-year-old mare has an absence of 292 days to overcome, but she won off this mark over C&D on her return from a layoff in September 2022 and could be primed to run a big race. Bottom-weight Hurtle only found one too good off this mark at Bath six days ago and could make an impact. At the other end of the handicap, top-weight Sailing On should be thereabouts after returning with a good placed effort at Bath.

ON THE RIGHT TRACK was too free on his recent return at Lingfield and is fancied to bounce back in style and capitalise on a handy-looking mark. Course-winner Hurtle can also have a say and is next on the list ahead of in-form duo Sailing On and Atalanta Breeze.

This looks the time to catch ATALANTA BREEZE. On recent form, Hurtle and Sailing On warrant respect.

15:58 Punchestown Handicap Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Recent Tipperary fifth CHAMPAGNE SALOON has every chance of registering a first career success. The Sean Aherne-trained eight-year-old kept on nicely to run a big race in a stronger grade than he encounters here. Having only had the seven starts under rules, the gelding should be open to some improvement. Handicap debutant One Flew Eau Verte showed enough in just three maiden outings to suggest she has a future. Although lacking the experience of some of these rivals, Peter Fahey's mare could play a leading role. The former French trained Drum Roll catches the eye on her first handicap start and any market support would be of interest.

A wide-open contest in which it could pay to take a chance on CLANDARA. He didn't shape at all badly returning from a lengthy absence at Bellewstown 4 weeks ago and, still lightly raced, he may well be up to building on that run here. Likable Chancer, Champagne Saloon and Arthor are others to consider.

Ordinary fare but CHAMPAGNE SALOON shaped as if he was ready for this step up in trip at Tipperary last week and gets the nod

16:10 Nottingham Handicap (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Super Superjack has won over 2m when fresh in the past and is an intriguing option on debut for a new yard. However, the 654-day absence is a concern and there is too much guesswork involved to put the seven-year-old forward as a confident selection. With that in mind, FOX VISION shades preference as a potential improver and, reunited with in-form Oisin Murphy, the son of New Approach can strike on just his second start over this trip. Trooper Bisdee and Seal Of Solomon can fight it out for the minor honours.

Sir Mark Prescott's TROOPER BISDEE enjoyed a fine 2023 and is fancied to return in style given he has a good record when fresh. Tenerife Sunshine didn't enjoy the rub of the greeen when fifth at Southwell last time out and is next on the list, with Fox Vision, Sarsons Risk and Seal Of Solomon also in the picture.

The vote goes to VALLEY OF FLOWERS who enjoyed a productive time of it last year and has proved that she can go well fresh

16:20 Brighton Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The Scott Dixon-trained THANKS DAD exceeded market expectations on his belated debut last month when finishing third over 7f at Chelmsford at 80/1 and confirmed that initial promise when going down narrowly in second over the same C&D 12 days later. With potentially more to offer on his turf debut, the four-year-old could have a major say in the outcome. Archie Watson's February Kempton winner Perfectly Timed and Marco Botti's Drink Dry are others to consider in what looks a tricky race.

DRINK DRY has been running well in Dubai over the winter and was only just denied in a maiden here last summer, so gets the vote. Thanks Dad stepped up on debut when only just failing at Chelmsford and is next best ahead of Masterofgreygoose, who made an eyecatching debut last month.

The pick at the weights is DRINK DRY. Second choice is Post Rider.

16:28 Punchestown Handicap Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A winner over course and distance back in January, SILENT FLIGHT may be able to add to that here. The eight-year-old was subsequently raised 9lb but showed that mark may not be beyond him when third at Down Royal after. Back from a break, the gelding appears to have been found a nice opportunity to register a second career success. On My Bike has snippets of form that would give him a chance in a race of this nature. With Gavin Cromwell continuing to send out winners this may be the time to catch the six-year-old. Mrs Biddle made a pleasing handicap debut when third at Tramore. Granted normal improvement, the mare can make her presence felt.

SILENT FLIGHT backed up his C&D victory with a good run at Down Royal when last seen and gets the vote off the same mark. Warmer Days Ahead and Mrs Biddle are a couple of the other likely players.

Having made up good late ground over 2m at Naas last time WARMER DAYS AHEAD could be ready to strike now upped in trip

16:40 Nottingham Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Switching to racing on turf can unlock further improvement from REYAADAH STAR, who broke her maiden with an emphatic seven-length success at Kempton at the start of this month. The daughter of New Approach could easily be underestimated from an opening mark of just 72 and has to be of high interest. Elladonna is notable now she is tried with a hood added for stepping back up in distance, while Invisible Friend is another taken seriously.

It's likely we haven't seen the best of CARPATHIAN, who found improvement when third on handicap debut at Kempton earlier this month. She can get off the mark. Reyaadah Star and Elladonna are feared most.

The unexposed XIOMARA may have more scope than these on her turf debut. Reyaadah Star has been progressing on AW.

16:50 Cork Maiden 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

POWERFUL NATION should benefit from his career debut over C&D recently and looks quite capable. He showed some signs of greenness pre-race but ran well when failing by a short-head to concede 4lb to the winner. Ballydoyle's Alfred Tennyson was a 220,000gns yearling purchase and boasts a top pedigree, with his grand-dam a winner of the Cheveley Park. He could be smart but meets an experienced selection. Shamrock Breeze was a 100,000-pound breeze-up purchase on April 24 and it is very encouraging to see her debut so soon.

A warm-looking maiden with POWERFUL NATION fancied to put his experience to use and come out on top. He sets a good standard on his narrow defeat here on debut and seems sure to improve. Flash The Cash and Alfred Tennyson are a couple of the more interesting newcomers.

While POWERFUL NATION did a lot wrong on his debut over C&D, he showed plenty of ability and should go one better.

16:55 Brighton Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

RIVAS ROB ROY has established himself as a Brighton specialist, with five course wins to his name, including three over today's distance. His penultimate victory here was off today's mark of 51 and he should be able to build on his recent C&D third. Arlo's Sunshine was ahead of him three weeks ago, though, when staying on strongly to finish a half-length second, and he has knocked on the door several times here to suggest a return to winnings ways could be imminent. Mudlahhim came within three-quarters of a length of victory when second over 7f here 12 days ago and, off an unchanged mark of 52, he could be an appealing alternative.

Having slipped below his last winning mark and knocking firmly on the door of late, MUDLAHHIM looks the way to go. He was beaten under a length by Voodoo Ray over 7f here recently and that rival boosted the form when going in again at Bath last week. Rivas Rob Roy could be the one to follow him home, with Bhubezi and Arlo's Sunshine also worth considering from an each-way perspective.

A chance is taken on BHUBEZI now back at Brighton, where he has recorded positive performances in the past.

17:00 Punchestown Handicap Hurdle 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Beaten less than a length when runner-up at Downpatrick last time, the John McConnell-trained DINOLAND can gain a deserved first victory under rules. Wearing blinkers for the first time, the gelding raced prominently throughout, keeping on strongly up the stiff hill. With connections opting to retain the headgear now, he should make another bold bid. Inchidaly Copper returns to the racecourse having landed a point-to-point at Dromahane last month. His 7lb conditional jockey is good value for that claim. Bearwithmenow, who ran well when fourth on his recent stable debut, can get involved here under Jody McGarvey.

HYPERSONIC MISSILE should have more to offer upped markedly in trip and could be the way to go over Dinoland and Fill The Tank.

The John McConnell yard is showing signs of a return to form and recent Downpatrick second DINOLAND (nap) is taken to go one better

17:10 Nottingham Stakes (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NIIGATA overcame inexperience to make a winning start to his career over this trip at Chelmsford earlier in the month and the manner of that victory suggested there might be a fair amount of improvement to come. Las Ramblas boasts a smart pedigree, being a half-brother to three-time Group 1 heroine Legatissimo, and lived up to it when getting up close home over 1m on debut at Newcastle in February. He commands plenty of respect, along with newcomer French Mistress and Anglepoise.

LAS RAMBLAS makes loads of appeal on paper and justified good support to make a winning debut at Newcastle in February, coming from further back to run down one boasting previous experience. Very much the type to improve, including now tackling this longer trip, he earns the vote on turf debut. Fellow debut winner Niigata for the Crisford yard is another to consider. Newcomer Leicester Square is worth keeping an eye on, with Anglepoise also expected to do better again.

Two of these won their only previous starts and NIIGATA is preferred to Las Ramblas as his success came over this trip.

17:20 Cork Handicap 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

OHAILBHIC met trouble in-running when finishing strongly at Naas recently and appears nicely handicapped. He was a capable performer at Dundalk last winter and having been blocked in his run last time, the son of Exceed And Excel is now proven on turf and should progress. Branding is closely matched with the selection on a Dundalk maiden meeting last December but that was the selection's debut run. Michael O'Callaghan's colt was himself a good handicap winner over this distance at Navan recently but is now 13lb higher. Kendall Roy is unbeaten in three handicap runs, all at this distance, and may well have more to offer.

OHAILBHIC would likely have gone very close had the right gaps appeared at Naas and can gain compensation off the same mark. Kendall Roy is 3-3 in handicaps and has to be feared. Branding came clear as he pleased on his own at Navan and has a hefty rise to overcome but can't be left off the shortlist.

With Heavenly Being and Branding sure to set a strong pace, it could suit a hold-up horse like OHAILBHIC.

17:25 Hexham Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Although he was unable to complete a double when a close-up second over C&D earlier this month, BETTER BE DEFINITE lost little in defeat in that 16-runner affair. A 5lb rise in the ratings looks workable for Nick Alexander's gelding and compensation could await. The biggest threat may emerge from handicap debutant Didnt Ask, who posted a solid third over track and trip in a maiden hurdle recently, while Reagrove Lord should enjoy the return to a sounder surface.

BETTER BE DEFINITE showed improved form when opening his account at Ayr in March and took another step forward when runner-up over C&D 17 days ago, beaten only by one who got first run. Still lightly raced, he looks to hold sound claims again and earns the vote. Kiss My Face is still fairly lightly raced at this sort of trip and he's considered, with last year's winner Buto and Didn't Ask in the mix too.

The shortlist is limited to Kiss My Face, Didnt Ask and BETTER BE DEFINITE. The selection went close in defeat over C&D latest.

17:45 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PATRONAGE saw out the trip fine when runner-up at Beverley on his first try at 1m2f and that form has since been franked by the winner following up under a 6lb penalty. The son of Masar makes plenty of appeal with the handicapper leaving him on the same mark and the addition of cheekpieces further enhances his credentials. Givitawhirl is bred to be a good deal better than a mark of 58, coming from the family of Poet's Word and Malabar, and stepping up in trip is likely to be a positive. Others to note include Emerald City and Eccentric.

ECCENTRIC disappointed in cheekpieces at Kempton last time but he was progressive on the AW prior to that so is worth another chance off this sort of mark switched to turf. The dangers are headed by Wannabeawallaby and Daring Leader, who are potential improvers now handicapping.

Many may improve now they are handicapped but PATRONAGE (nap) has already won and can go in again. Penalty Shootout can grab second.

17:50 Cork Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ANNIE EDSON TAYLOR hasn't run since October but showed solid form on her latest run at Navan. The form was significantly boosted by the winner scoring twice subsequently and improving his rating to 87, while the well-held third also won subsequently and is now rated 73. Ojw Legacy is herself a proven and consistent performer and has recent form. Despite being rated 2lb higher than the lesser-exposed selection, her form possibly isn't as strong but can be counted upon to run her usual race. Cuban Confusion raced too keenly when last seen at Dundalk but may benefit from dropping in trip.

OJW LEGACY matched her previous best and shaped well with a view to stepping back up in trip when runner-up in a 5f Navan maiden 2 weeks ago and she earns the vote to build on that here. Annie Edson Taylor on return and likely improvers Ringabella and Dalva's Boys are others to consider.

Having rallied up the hill over 5f at Navan last time to be just denied over 5f, the return to this trip can see OJW LEGACY(nap) score.

17:58 Hexham Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Little separates Rumble B (third) and Dillarchie (fourth) on their recent encounter over C&D, with the pair likely to be involved once more if running to a similar level. However, they could prove vulnerable to something unexposed, and ITURGEON DU BREUIL fits the bill. Barry Murtagh's charge caught the eye when a staying-on third on his handicap bow at Ayr in March and 1lb nudge up in the ratings is unlikely the ceiling of his ability.

A few of these come here with question marks against them but RUMBLE B arrives at the top of his game so is fancied to bag another C&D success. Very good Ayr third Iturgeon du Breuil could emerge as the main danger, with Balkotic and Dillarchie also in the picture.

Lucinda Russell's GREENHILL GARDENS is better than his form figures suggest and earns the vote over this new trip.

18:10 Huntingdon Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

THERAPIST returned from a short break with a solid display when landing a novices' handicap at Southwell a fortnight ago and looks very capable of another big run. A 7lb higher mark looks fair for the Nicky Henderson-trained mare and, with ground conditions to suit, she has plenty in her favour. Obsessedwithyou wasn't beaten far when third at Stratford last month and is another likely to find more given that was her first run since December. Billams Legacy and Lady Gwen complete the shortlist.

None of these can be ruled out but it's still impossible to ignore the claims of Southwell scorer THERAPIST who still looks ahead of her mark despite taking a 7 lb rise here. Billams Legacy could be set to extend her sequence of second placings to six, with Lady Gwen, Obsessedwithyou and Well Done Dani all in the mix too.

There is no strong temptation to oppose THERAPIST (nap), who quickened clear to make a winning handicap hurdle debut two weeks ago.

18:20 Cork Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SUMMER SNOW was beaten two lengths under a 7lb penalty at Naas last month, but she has better recent form than most of her rivals and is suited by conditions. She won at this distance five days prior at Gowran Park and might fare better having had a longer break between races. Run Forrest Run is a five-time winner and while he has been running over shorter trips recently, he won twice at this distance in 2021 and is ground-versatile. Veteran Shawaamekh has run well twice already this season and while suited by this distance, drying ground is a concern.

SHAWAAMEKH is now into the veteran stage but has twice run well upon returning this term, again finding only one too good at Limerick 5 days ago, and he could be worth siding with to end a losing run. Summer Snow has made a bright start for his new yard and is feared, with Superior Force and Shanadar others to consider.

A flier is taken on C&D winner TRUEBA to come back to form now that he gets back on a sound surface, having been poor on soft recently.

18:28 Hexham Handicap Chase (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BREIZH RIVER has posted several creditable efforts in defeat in novice/maiden hurdle company this year. Connections have wasted little time in sending the son of Stormy River over fences for his handicap debut and the six-year-old could take all the beating if taking to this discipline. Fellow chasing newcomer Royal Rhythm has enjoyed a respectable campaign and is feared most, while an improved bid from C&D scorer Rollerruler wouldn't surprise on his return to this track either.

A few with chances. ROYAL RHYTHM enjoyed a good first season over hurdles for his current yard and is fancied to make a winning start in this sphere at the chief expense of Harel du Marais who reverts to this sphere on an appealing mark. Breizh River is another starting out over fences with some potential and he can also have a say.

Royal Rhythm makes some appeal but preference is for another chase debutant in BREIZH RIVER.

18:40 Huntingdon Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A versatile staying handicapper on the Flat for his previous yard, there was a lot to like about the display MOSTLY SUNNY put in on his hurdling debut at Southwell and the five-year-old might well have made a winning start in this discipline, barring a costly mistake at the last. Sure to be wiser for the experience, the selection can go one place better here. Fit from the the Flat, the betting market will be revealing as far as the likes of hurdling newcomers United Front and Bristol Hill are concerned.

MOSTLY SUNNY's achievements on the Flat don't quite match those of United Front but the 5-y-o already has a run under his belt in this sphere, and it was a very promising effort, too, at Southwell where he probably would've run out a convincing winner but for a bad mistake at the final flight. It will be interesting to see what the market makes of United Front and he is clear second choice ahead of Midnight Lion and Sunset In Paris.

Dan Skelton's MOSTLY SUNNY was unlucky not to make a winning hurdle debut a fortnight ago and can gain compensation here.

18:50 Cork Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TIMANA has run well in two maidens thus far and debuts in handicaps. She lacks a recent run and wears first-time cheekpieces against more experienced rivals, but her February form was boosted by the runner-up winning a recent maiden, which suggests she might be nicely treated rated 69. The Bear Trap is in form, ground-versatile and has gone well at this distance but is nonetheless an 11-race maiden who might bump into one or two too strong. Dream Ticket missed the break when disappointing on her latest run at Dundalk in December but had previously shown good form in nurseries and should be well suited by a sounder surface.

TIMANA is not yet the finished article having been placed in a couple of maidens at Dundalk and she looks the way to go off what looks a fair opening mark. The Bear Trap is next best ahead of Byzantine Empress.

Having run fine races in defeat over 6f the last twice, running on, THE BEAR TRAP can get off the mark back up to this trip.

18:58 Hexham Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WARRIORS STORY returned from a 138-day break to reach the frame over track and trip earlier in the month and he now goes off a 3lb lower rating. The son of Midnight Legend lurks on an appealing mark and he gets the nod. The main danger might be Miss Wachit, who failed to fire over the smaller obstacles at Perth in September but the return to this sphere and booking of Brian Hughes suggest an improved performance may be on the cards. Hey Brother completes the shortlist.

With a dearth of credible candidates on show, WARRIORS STORY is much the most likely winner on the back of his creditable C&D effort 17 days ago when returning from a five-month absence. The 8-y-o has been eased a further 3 lb since and the drying ground will aid his cause. Miss Wachit and Shadows In The Sky can do battle for minor place money.

The lightly raced chasing newcomer EDGEWELL has potential off his opening mark in view of the ability he showed in bumpers.

An easy winner at Market Rasen on his penultimate start, IRON HEART looks the type to potentially run up a sequence during the summer jumps campaign and looks worth following, despite being edged out when attempting to follow up at Bangor on Saturday. Chantilly Rose could be the biggest threat to the selection if she adapts well to racing in first-time cheekpieces, although previous C&D winner Calvic is dangerous to underestimate.

CALVIC might have been stretched by the longer trip here last month so is worth another chance to confirm the promise of his C&D win. Iron Heart is going through a good spell at the moment and is the obvious threat.

Stuart Edmunds' CALVIC could still be well handicapped after a 3lb rise for his C&D win in March and gets the vote.

FAMILIAR DREAMS became a rare four-time bumper winner when landing a Grade 3 at the recent Punchestown Festival and debuts for new connections, having sold the following day for 310,000 euros. Initially a 4,000gns purchase as an unraced three-year-old from Roger Varian, she has smart ability and should be fine at middle-distances. Sixandahalf finished second to the selection in March when in receipt of 21lb and showed improvement to also win at Punchestown. A National Hunt-bred, she might struggle to reverse placings from level weights but is expected to give a decent account. Bloom Vega is out of a Listed winner and ran really well on Curragh debut and while the third-placed horse was beaten since, she is open to improvement.

FAMILIAR DREAMS has won each of her last four starts in bumpers, including at Grade 3 contest at Punchestown last time, and she is taken to make a successful debut in this sphere. Fellow bumper winner Sixandahalf and Bloom Vega, who shaped with abundant promise when runner-up on debut at the Curragh, rate the main dangers in that order of preference.

High-class bumper mare Familiar Dreams might have to play second fiddle to BLOOM VEGA, who should have improved from her debut.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DR SHIROCCO had West Lawn (fourth) behind when accounting for his nearest rival by a length in a class 4 event over C&D recently and he is only 3lb higher for that success. Sandy Forster's nine-year-old looks the one to beat again, with his main threat possibly being Coolmoyne, who himself went in over track and trip earlier in the month and it would be no surprise to see him involved off 6lb higher. Of the remainder, Royle Steel makes the most appeal.

DR SHIROCCO resumed winning ways over C&D 10 days ago and can defy a 3 lb rise back down in class. Coolmoyne pulled clear with a subsequent winner when finally off the mark over this C&D earlier this month and looks the obvious threat with Elleon best of the others.

With his last win having come off 2lb higher on good ground after a break, ROYLE STEEL earns the vote on his first run since February.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Mole Court looked better than ever when making a winning reappearance over fences at this venue last month and the seven-year-old isn't taken lightly on this switch to the smaller obstacles. However, Ben Pauling's charge has failed to succeed off significantly lower marks in this discipline in the past, which could see PLANET LEGEND regain the winning thread. The Galileo gelding arrives on the back of a close-up second at Ludlow and compensation could await off just a 3lb higher rating. Ubetya (fourth) was behind the selection that day and he may fare best of the remainder.

PLANET LEGEND looked well suited by the step up in trip when narrowly beaten at Ludlow last month and can gain compensation here. Ubetya and Mole Court rate the principal dangers.

Very progressive over fences since cheekpieces were added last year, MOLE COURT might add this hurdle race to his haul of wins.

19:50 Cork Handicap 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PASCALIA has run well in 2024 and might be suited by stepping up in distance. There is plenty of speed in the dam's side but she saw out a mile quite well on testing ground at Cork last month, suggesting she could stay further. Dromore Glory returned from a huge 652-day layoff when finishing second over this distance at Dundalk last month and appears to still be fairly treated, with Colin Keane is a notable booking. Explorers Way's four wins were on the UK all-weather and he may step forward from his Irish return.

PASCALIA is still on the up judged on her latest second here last month and can go one better if seeing out the longer trip. Dromore Glory is feared most ahead of Explorers Way.

Not the strongest of handicaps and PASCALIA should prove a tough nut to crack if she handles the step up in trip

19:58 Hexham Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Roccovango sets the standard in this contest with a rating of 116 after his victory at Huntingdon in March, but he could find it tough to give his 7lb penalty away to REFORME. Lucinda Russell's five-year-old wasn't disgraced in third over an extended 2m1f at Musselburgh last time and he can improve for this step up in trip to get his head in front for the first time. Conquer The Breeze was beaten 10 lengths into second over 2m here earlier in the month and is another to note.

REFORME should improve for the step up in trip and is preferred to penalised winner Roccovango. Multiple winning pointer Wise Move is an interesting newcomer.

The Lucinda Russell-trained REFORME may well improve for this step up in trip and he is taken to get off the mark.

20:10 Huntingdon Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Confidence in the betting saw an improved bid from BREAD AND BUTTER, who posted a solid third over 2m3f at Taunton last month and the nine-year-old remains well treated judged on his Irish form. Hugueneau comes with risks attached having bled from the nose at Uttoxeter earlier this month, but Dan Skelton's charge is feared most if bouncing back, while Scudamore is entitled to build on last month's reappearance seventh over C&D.

BREAD AND BUTTER has fallen appreciably in the weights and gets the nod under a good-value 10-lb conditional having taken a big step back in the right direction when third at Taunton last month. Miss Applejack, a fair bumper winner, could improve switched to a handicap following a break, while Scudamore is entitled to strip fitter for his recent outing and merits consideration, also.

It might pay to give another chance to HUGUENEAU, who had an excuse when letting down favourite backers at Southwell recently.

20:20 Cork Handicap 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

NOT JUST ANY EAGLE's only previous win was gained over course-and-distance in July 2022 and the five-year-old has been running well in defeat in races since last July. Ground-versatile and well suited by this distance, this may be the opportunity for him to strike once again. One-time Barrier Trial winner Jeaniemacaroney is fit from hurdling and while she had form at this grade and over this distance last summer, continues to be frustrating to follow and is an 11-race maiden. Power Drive is rated just 2lb higher than when winning easily at this distance at Dundalk in April but the nine-year-old's seven wins have all come on the all-weather.

A few with chances but NOT JUST ANY EAGLE is taken to bag another C&D win on the back of his good recent Sligo second. Limerick runner-up Jeaniemcaroney heads the list of dangers, with Epaulawn weighted to go well too. Power Drive completes the shortlist.

A tight handicap and it may be worth siding with EPAULAWN who has caught the eye a few times this season

20:28 Hexham Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

HARTUR D'OUDAIRIES seems to have turned a corner on his last couple of starts after joining Brian Ellison at the start of the year, with his penultimate second at Musselburgh followed by the seven-year-old getting back to winning ways here over 2m earlier in the month. Stepping up in trip might yield further improvement and he is fancied to handle a 3lb rise from the handicapper. Les's Legacy is expected to be competitive once again after his recent C&D second, while The Churchill Lad is clearly better than his Haydock effort in March suggests.

HARTUR D'OUDAIRIES and Well Educated, first and fifth respectively in a 2m handicap here recently, are both on appealing marks and could be the two to concentrate on. The latter is entitled to come on for that run and should finish closer this time but Hartur d'Oudairies overcame late mistakes and traffic problems that day and he is taken to strike again. A back-to-form Not What It Seems would be a threat, while A Law of Her Own is interesting on her second start for the Skelton yard.

Preference is for HARTUR D'OUDAIRIES, who has gradually got back on track since joining Brian Ellison and remains well handicapped.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TREVADA had little difficulty in dispatching a small field when coming home in splendid isolation at Fakenham earlier this month. Francesca Poste's inmate is sure to prove a warm order to follow up and he's difficult to oppose. Amenon is a potential fly in the ointment on his stable debut and the nine-year-old may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Macavity, who landed a point-to-point in April.

Another good opening for easy Fakenham winner TREVADA. Macavity might be the danger.

This looks another good opportunity for recent Fakenham winner TREVADA.

21:00 Hexham Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

For Three returned from a break to score at Sedgefield and is likely to enter calculations once again. However, a 5lb rise may well be enough to stop him from making it a brace of victories and a chance is taken with INDIAN LOUIS. Lucinda Russell's gelding shaped with promise when switched back to hurdles here over 2m4f earlier in the month and the drop in trip may see him in a better light. Jumping Jupiter and Brian's Jet are others capable of a decent showing.

Preference is for JUMPING JUPITER, who is relatively low mileage and made a pleasing start for Mark Walford at Southwell a fortnight ago. Recent winners For Three and Wotyoudunnow Buddy are feared most.

Jumping Jupiter is not passed over lightly but preference is for FOR THREE (nap) who makes appeal following his recent win.
