14:20 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WANNABE BRAVE has been much improved since returning from a short-lived hurdling campaign and supplemented a Wolverhampton triumph by again justifying favouritism at Chelmsford. He escapes a penalty for that apprentices' race success and can capitalise on being 3lb well-in. Abraaj showed his appreciation for the return to the all-weather by winning emphatically over C&D and looks a big danger. Daaris has been hammering on the door and will surely be let in before too long, with Greek Giant another to consider.

WANNABE BRAVE arrives in top form, much like his stable, so should make a bold bid for the hat-trick. Abraaj was a decisive winner over C&D 2 weeks ago so is feared most ahead of Daaris, who has been knocking on the door in recent months.

Last-time-out winners Wannabe Brave and Abraaj are major players but it might just pay to give another chance to AFRICAN STAR.

14:28 Ffos Las Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GUARD DUTY presumably hasn't been the most straightforward to train having only seen the track twice so far, but the seven-year-old has already shown a useful level of form in bumpers and it will be no surprise if he is up to the task on his hurdling bow. Point-to-point winner Boyles Hill made a pleasing start to life under Rules when second in a bumper here and he can emerge as the main danger. 150,000-pound purchase Country Park is also noted, but he will need to improve on his bumper form if he is to take the gold medal.

GUARD DUTY laid a really solid foundation for hurdling in bumpers, winning on debut before a sound third under a penalty and this looks a good starting point for him over obstacles. Boyles Hill should also have a fair future as a jumper and is a threat, with Scintillante capable of better if settling, with a hood looking a good move.

The vote goes to Irish point winner BOYLES HILL, who was runner-up in a bumper here last month and should have a future over hurdles.

14:40 Ripon Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

George Boughey has two runners here with Hello Youmzain filly Beronia possibly the pick of the two, but she will need to be a smart performer to get the better of SUBSTITUTE, even in receipt of 7lb. Charlie Johnston's filly made an excellent start to her career when scoring a shade cosily over C&D and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if she backed that performance up. Pretty Thing and Royalty Bay are others likely to make an impact on their racecourse bows.

SUBSTITUTE overcame inexperience and a tardy start when a ready winner over C&D 11 days ago and with the prospect of more to come, is very much the percentage call. The quartet of debutantes all make appeal on paper, particularly Beronia and Pretty Thing and the market may well help split them,

There are some interesting newcomers but C&D winner SUBSTITUTE sets a strong standard under her 7lb penalty and is taken to make it 2-2.

14:50 Lingfield Claimer (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Trueman is top-rated and comes out best even when the weights are taken into account, but he has been off for almost a year and has never raced on an artificial surface so POETIC FORCE is probably the safer option. Tony Carroll's veteran hasn't been far away in fourth the last twice and should relish the drop out of handicap company. The same can be said for Smart Deal, who might be the primary threat.

The obvious ones are SMART DEAL and Poetic Force, the former taken to make all from stall 1. Trueman remains unexposed starting out for a new yard and is worth a market check.

The most solid options appear to be the veteran POETIC FORCE and Chelmsford winner Smart Deal, both in creditable form this spring.

15:00 Ffos Las Handicap Chase (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Iron Heart finished an excellent second over 3m at Bangor before posting a below-par effort at Huntingdon just three days later, but the quick turnaround may have been his undoing on that occasion and better can be expected. Preference, though, is for BALLINSKER. Evan Williams' charge put in a front-running exhibition when a game winner over C&D last month and, upped 3lb, another bold showing looks imminent. Steppenwolf is a fascinating contender on his debut for the David Pipe team and he cannot be overlooked lightly.

BALLINSKER bounced back to form re-united with this rider when scoring over C&D last month and remains potentially well treated up 3 lb. Exmoor Forest offered plenty to work on starting out over fences when fourth at Chepstow and rates the main threat ahead of Dan's Chosen, who should be much closer to form after his comeback spin over hurdles.

Most of these have chances but the ex-Irish STEPPENWOLF might yet turn a corner over fences for his new yard.

15:15 Ripon Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A small field may see this turn tactical and if that is the case, Loddon may try to make all the running and have an easy time of it on the front end. CHILLED OUT showed some serious improvement to win on his first start for Michael Wigham following wind surgery and a 5lb penalty may not stop him from following up. Jewel Maker has to do more, but with eight career wins he is hard to ignore.

JEWEL MAKER is sure to step up on his reappearance, and just 1 lb above his last winning mark, he's preferred to last-time-out winner Chilled Out at the forecast prices.

Having made a winning start for Michael Wigham last week, this looks a good opportunity for CHILLED OUT to follow up.

15:25 Lingfield Maiden (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Thecoffeepoddotco's Ripon fourth sets the bar but while it offered some encouragement, the standard isn't exactly insurmountable. The Gosdens are beginning to get their two-year-olds out and Gonna Fly Now is bred to be quick, but Archie Watson could hold all the aces and even though Wathbah is related to several useful performers, DEL RAY gets the vote. The daughter of Kameko is a half-sister to an Albany runner-up, as well as a couple of Listed-winning juveniles, so should hit the ground running.

Those with experience don't set a high standard so this could go to a newcomer with some well-bred sorts on show, Del Ray, Gonna Fly Now and Wathbah making the most appeal before market clues.

This looks ripe for one of the newcomers and DEL RAY is tentatively preferred to Naturally and Gonna Fly Now.

15:35 Ffos Las Handicap Chase (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

THE GYPSY DAVEY performed with credit when finishing third over 2m3f at Market Rasen on his chasing debut last week, just giving best on the run-in, and easing in trip off the same mark, he can go two places better. This represents a drop in grade for Fearless and he cannot be dismissed on the back of an excellent placed effort over 2m1f at Kelso, while the consistent Nibras Gold also merits consideration on his debut over the larger obstacles.

THE GYPSY DAVEY might have lost his unbeaten record when third on his chase/handicap bow at Market Rasen last week, but it was still a promising start in this sphere, and this looks a good opportunity with most of his rivals arriving with something to prove. Fearless bounced back to form when a close third at Kelso 3 weeks ago and is the obvious threat.

This can go to THE GYPSY DAVEY (nap), who followed his two wins over hurdles with a solid third place on his chase debut.

15:50 Ripon Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

FIRST ENCOUNTER looks likely to go well despite carrying 1lb more than his allotted mark. Put in his place when second at Redcar on his first run for six months, he was a long way clear of the third and has every chance in his attempt to gain his first career success. Medician Star might go close in first-time cheekpieces under the in-form Danny Tudhope, while Bitcoin Profit has a win to his name this season and cannot be ignored back on turf.

LADY OF TIME shaped much better than a fifth-placed finish would suggest on reappearance at Redcar a month ago and, expected to build on that, she looks the answer. Medician Star has headgear on for the first time and he's a threat, with First Encounter despite being just out of the weights.

Preference is for FIRST ENCOUNTER who ran well when runner-up over C&D last time. Medician Star is feared most.

16:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

In a moderate event, marginal preference is for DAME DARCEY, who showed promise when filling third place over this trip at Salisbury last time. Given that the second from that contest has won since, Ed Walker's filly merits plenty of respect off a 2lb lower mark. Call Me The Breeze could prove to be the main threat, ahead of Pannonica and War Zone.

CALL ME THE BREEZE has promised more with the way she's travelled on both outings this term and she may be capable of defying her lowly mark now dropped back to 6f in a weak race. Dame Darcy and Pannonica look the chief dangers.

Tom Ward's CALL ME THE BREEZE (nap) has threatened better and she is preferred to Moreginplease.

16:08 Ffos Las Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Not beaten far on each of his last three starts, including twice at this track, THATZA DAZZLER deserves a change in luck and as long as he handles the potentially quicker ground on this occasion, the six-year-old looks the one to be with. Danny's Friend only weakened late on into fourth when delivering a career-best effort at Stratford and he is of interest on handicap debut, along with Come To Pass.

THATZA DAZZLER is the most solid option after a couple of recent placed efforts, including over C&D. Ocean Heights remains one who could click over hurdles given his bumper/Flat ability and he's a possible threat. The unexposed Danny's Friend may prove best of the rest.

Consistency counts for a lot at this lowly level and THATZA DAZZLER has finished bang there on his last three starts.

16:20 Ripon Handicap (Class 3) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Ey Up Its The Boss scored over C&D last time and another bold bid can be expected, but he may struggle to defy a 5lb penalty for that head success. Therefore the preference is for LOYAL TOUCH, who was a good second over the extended 1m2f at Chester on his penultimate start - the winner has since confirmed that form - and the four-year-old might prove a tough nut to crack, should he arrive here in similar form. Titian could also have a say off 4lb lower than his last winning mark.

LOYAL TOUCH wasn't disgraced in a competitive contest at York and he gets the nod ahead of Titian and Cockalorum.

The mare ZARABANDA won three times on soft going last season and earns the vote now back in a handicap and back on slow ground.

16:30 Lingfield Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DORNEY LAKE created a big impression when getting off the mark over this distance at Yarmouth recently and the son of Ardad is hard to oppose, despite having to carry a 7lb penalty. The Cutest was not disgraced on either of her starts as a juvenile and Andrew Balding's filly should not be discounted, while any market support for Balmoral Lady would have to be noted.

DORNEY LAKE took a sizeable step forward when off the mark readily at Yarmouth on return and he should have little trouble following up with a tongue strap applied. The Cutest is open to improvement and probably the main danger, while Balmoral Lady makes some appeal on pedigree.

This looks a good opportunity for DORNEY LAKE to defy a penalty for his impressive Yarmouth win. The Cutest can chase him home.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

JASMIN DE GRUGY continues to go from strength to strength and an 8lb rise for his recent comfortable success at Uttoxeter may not be enough to prevent him from landing the hat-trick. Anthony Honeyball's charge can uphold form with Crossbeau (second) from his penultimate victory over C&D, despite being 18lb worse off at the weights for just over six lengths. Coup De Gold and Rascal have the form to get involved in proceedings as well.

JASMIN DE GRUGY arrives on an upward curve and has already tasted success here, so he seems an obvious choice as he bids for a quick hat-trick. Gavin is of interest returning to a track where he boasts a good record and Crossbeau deserves respect for all that he was firmly put in his place by the selection last time.

The progressive Jasmin De Grugy is the obvious answer but CHANCYCOURT ran better last time ahead of this handicap debut.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LA LA LUCRATIVE ran a good race when he was beaten just a neck over 6f at Catterick last week and this looks a good opportunity to go one better today. Gemma Tutty's charge looks primed to offer another bold bid, especially being 3lb well-in compared to future events. Raft Up won over 6f at Newcastle earlier this month but a 5lb rise may not be easy to overcome, while Woodleigh is also capable of staking a claim.

If able to build on his improved effort at Catterick last week LA LA LUCRATIVE will prove a tough nut to crack off the same mark. Raft Up also showed improved form when striking at Newcastle earlier this month and he is next on the list ahead of Vintage Love.

The unexposed LA LA LUCRATIVE (nap) went close at Catterick last week and is taken to go one better here. War Memorial is a danger.

SO OBSESSED only found one too good when attempting to supplement a Wolverhampton win over C&D a couple of weeks ago and Marco Botti's filly tops the shortlist off the same mark here. That said, Milliethemollie also hit the crossbar on her most recent outing and should not be underestimated. Restricted was a neck behind the selection two starts ago and edges out Musical Diva to be best of the rest.

SO OBSESSED is on the up and was only beaten by an improver over C&D last time, so she's the one to side with under Oisin Murphy. Milliethemollie should be a danger having returned to form at Bath recently and Musical Diva isn't without hope.

Ten O'Clock can go well but MILLIETHEMOLLIE is marginally preferred now dropping into a Class 6.

A tentative vote goes to BRIDGET MARY, who drops in trip after a highly creditable second at Stratford, where she looked the likely winner, only to be collared late in the piece. 17:15 Limerick Claiming Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

FELIX DESJY stands out dropping to this level. The 11-year-old made little impact when last seen in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham in 2023, after a couple of jumping errors. He had run well off a mark of 140 in handicap company at Navan previously, though, and retains enough ability to make him the one to beat in this. Vado Forte has been put in off a low weight and looks the danger. He ran off a mark of 124 over fences recently and is a previous course winner. Tom McGreevy is another who looks on a nice weight with Tom Harney taking off 7lb and he also has to enter calculations.

FELIX DESJY has an absence to overcome but could easily prove too good for these. Vado Forte is next best ahead of Clever Currency.

Preference is for VADO FORTE who is very well in on his chase form despite not being at his best last twice

17:25 Ripon Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PROTEST RALLY blew his chances at the start when beaten just fewer than two lengths over 5f at Hamilton earlier this month and he would hold solid credentials with a more alert start on this occasion. Liam Bailey's charge has been eased by the handicapper which could be the perfect tonic. Ernest Rutherford shaped as if this extra yardage would suit when sixth over 5f at Catterick last time and he can get involved, while Fircombe Hall is also worthy of consideration.

A chance is taken on FYLINGDALE, who has caught the eye with her finishing effort the last twice and she looks capable of exploiting this attractive mark if breaking more sharply this time. Gunnerside has also edged down the weights and he is feared most ahead of Variety Island.

Slow ground will be ideal for TILSWORTH TURF, who was a 125-1 winner on soft going at Leicester two starts ago.

17:30 Fairyhouse Handicap 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ENCOSTA was awarded her last race at Leopardstown in the stewards' room after being badly checked at the business end. That was a much-improved effort on better ground and she is due to encounter the same trip and ground, so should be right in the thick of it off 6lb higher. Power Drive made all and swept home by four lengths in Dundalk last month. He's not exactly drawn to attack in stall 14, but competes off just 2lb higher and is clearly in good humour. Master Dunraven is 8lb higher after delivering in Navan and ought to have a part to play, while Storm Eric is a consistent horse and his turf mark is 17lb lower than his all-weather rating.

A host in with chances but it could pay to side with GUNSIGHT, who shaped better than the bare result when sixth at Sligo just over a fortnight ago and Michael O'Meara's 4-y-o can open his account at the expense of Alma Libre, who needs to leave a rare-poor effort behind at the Curragh when last seen 9 months ago but returns on a handy mark. Encosta and Mr Mills are another couple to consider, too.

The 4yo MASTER DUNRAVEN is drawn wide and 8lb higher than at Navan, but he did look a horse well ahead of his mark that day.

17:45 Limerick Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PAMPAR LADY fell before the action heated up at Tipperary last time, but was still travelling then and is up to winning a race of this standard. The Malinas mare had run a big race at Tramore previously when pushing Gaillimh A Run to half a length and has been placed in her three completed starts over timber. Drumgill is another with solid placed form who has to be on the shortlist. He chased home Wandering Rocks at Ballinrobe last time and had Break The Boundary in behind when runner-up at Bellewstown last month. Field A Thistles may improve from her initial run over hurdles in Cork and is another to consider.

PAMPAR LADY would have gone close but for falling 3 out at Tipperary 2 weeks ago and can make amends if none the worse. Drumgill and Field A Thistles are feared most.

The selection is PAMPAR LADY (nap), unlucky at Tramore and going well when falling at Tipperary last time

17:55 Carlisle Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having returned to form when scoring over 5f at Hamilton earlier this month, Giselles Izzy commands respect raised only 1lb for that head success, but a chance can be taken on COUNT D'ORSAY. Tim Easterby's runner has plummeted down the handicap after struggling to beat many rivals home so far this term, but a return to any kind of form would see the eight-year-old go close off a lowly mark of 70 - he won rated 75 last July - with Thomas Easterby claiming a useful 5lb. Burj Malinka is also worthy of consideration.

BURJ MALINKA continues in form and could be the way to go. Willingly and Hamilton winner Giselles Izzy are a couple of the other likely players.

The vote goes to WILLINGLY who is suited by testing ground, is on a fair mark and should have no problem with the return to 5f.

18:00 Fairyhouse Handicap 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

NATURALLY NIMBLE is 6lb clear on official ratings and has bright prospects here. The form of his close second in Navan looks strong as the horse that pipped him was previously second to a subsequent Listed-placed horse. American Pharoah filly Gushing can get in the mix up in trip on better ground for powerful connections. Barnso should come on from an unplaced run in a higher grade at Naas, while Tachos makes her handicap debut off a mark of 72 and has shown enough to suggest she will be competitive. Dont Do Dramas is in decent nick after winning at Sligo and finishing third in Roscommon and goes to work off a light weight.

NATURALLY NIMBLE went down by just a head in a Navan maiden 12 days ago and with better to come now handicapping, Joseph O'Brien's charge is fancied to go a place better. Dont Do Dramas arrives in fine form, so he could give the selection most to think about, with Gushing another to consider stepping up to 1¼m for the first time.

Good ground may make a crucial difference for GUSHING though she does not have much to spare over Sindad My Dad on Killarney form

18:10 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

THIRTYFOUR THIRTY was beaten less than a length over this trip at Fontwell last time, despite making a couple of blunders. First-time cheekpieces may help him to concentrate and Syd Hosie's charge is taken to come out best. Prince De Juilley has been threatening to open his account and another good effort is expected on the back of a second here, while Jessie Lightfoot won over fences last time and is next best.

SAMTARA took a step back in the right direction over fences last time and has handicapping scope back hurdling having scored off 3 lb higher last spring. Jessie Ligfhtfoot will be a major threat if she can translate recent chase form over to the smaller obstacles. Prince de Juilley is next on the list.

The vote goes to JESSIE LIGHTFOOT, who has won two of her last three races over fences and is on a good mark back over hurdles.

18:17 Limerick Maiden Hurdle 19f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JUST FOR LOVE can make a winning start over jumps. The Affinisea mare was heavily backed when taking a bumper at Galway last September. The penny dropped late on then as she asserted in the closing stages for a convincing success and she looks to have plenty of ability. Farfromnowhere is a danger coming here race-fit after her success in a Wexford bumper last month. The Shirocco mare did well to round the field then and get up in a tight finish. She already has jumping experience from a point-to-point victory. Cast A Spell has been placed twice over hurdles, most recently at Cork behind Jolie Jewel, and also has to be on the shortlist.

JUST FOR LOVE had a bit to spare when landing short odds on her Galway bumper debut last autumn and can follow up switched to hurdles on her return. Gordon Elliott's Disco Dancer shaped well when fourth on her Tipperary hurdle debut earlier in the month and is second choice ahead of point/bumper winner Farfromnowhere.

The one to beat is JUST FOR LOVE, decisive winner of a Galway bumper in September and looks a decent prospect

18:25 Carlisle Maiden (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

KISS ME MY LOVE made a very pleasing start to her career when she was beaten just more than a length over 5f at Hamilton on her racecourse debut and this looks a good opportunity for Charlie Johnston's charge to go one better. Larchill Lass is feared most after a brace of seconds on her two starts to date at Beverley and a win looks just around the corner for Karl Burke's runner, while her stablemate Party Bear makes most appeal of the newcomers.

KISS ME MY LOVE made a promising start at Hamilton and could be the one to beat with improvement likely. Larchill Lass won't be far away again, while stablemate Party Bear and Final Angel are interesting newcomers.

Preference is for KISS ME MY LOVE who finished well clear of the third when second of five on her Hamilton debut.

18:30 Fairyhouse Claimer 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SIGNOR FERRARI may be the safest option in a claimer where plenty of horses have something to prove. He kept on well to make the breakthrough in an apprentice handicap over 7f at Cork last week and has placed form over this sort of trip in Dundalk. Alto Sax got his confidence boosted with a victory in a claiming maiden at Roscommon, but this is a much longer trip. His one previous effort over an extended 1m2f in Dundalk was inconclusive. Your Out Of Line has some upside after a close fourth over shorter in a claimer at Gowran Park. Sylkie flopped when favourite for that Gowran Park race and the blinkers have been left off now.

Preference is for SIGNOR FERRARI, who won with something in hand at Cork last week and has run well over this sort of trip before. Alto Sax and Your Out Of Line are feared most.

Two recent winners go head-to-head. SIGNOR FERRARI probably achieved more in winning a handicap than Alto Sax in a claimer

18:40 Warwick Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Willie Mullins sends ONLYAMATTEROFTIME over from Ireland and the eight-year-old posted a better effort when dropped in class and finishing runner-up at Ballinrobe last month. With that in mind, he looks the one to beat in this company. Espoir Des Forges ran well for third over track and trip on his Rules debut and should go well again, while St Just In Time and Galway Reel may prove best of the rest.

ONLYAMATTEROFTIME is the clear form pick and, while there are reservations as to his temperament, he should have enough to make a winning start at the likely expense of G A Henty, who is the danger on ratings. Espoir des Forges is open to improvement and could feature.

The choice is G A HENTY who has been below par on his last two runs but was a fine second in a strong race at Market Rasen in January.

18:47 Limerick Handicap Hurdle 19f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Not the strongest looking contest and A NOD TO GETAWAY may be able bag a follow-up win. The Getaway gelding was a game winner at Wexford last time, when holding Rightfolksplease by a neck, with the front two pulling a few lengths clear. Judging by the jockey's comments afterwards, better ground and slightly further should suit now. Depeche Mo didn't run too badly when staying on into fourth at Wexford and is another who might benefit from better ground now and a step up in trip. Champagne Vacation had a couple of decent runs in competitive races last autumn and dropping into this bottom grade for the first time, he could play a part.

A NOD TO GIFT improved to open his account at Wexford last time and he looks the obvious answer to a race that lacks depth. Del Girl shaped quite well at Down Royal last time and appeals as the sort to do better when the market speaks in her favour, whiel Seasett isn't without hope returning to the smaller obstacles.

One of the few progressive types looks to be recent A NOD TO GETAWAY, who could have more to offer now upped in trip

18:55 Carlisle Stakes (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Having been sent off favourite in Listed company last time, this looks a good opportunity for IT AIN'T TWO to gain some compensation for connections. Hugo Palmer's runner scored on her first taste of racecourse experience over 5f at Newmarket in a race that has thrown up three subsequent winners and she looks set to get back to winning ways. Rex Carver is feared most after a decent second on debut over 6f at Redcar, while Almanjoor heads the remainder.

Newmarket debut winner IT AIN'T TWO wasn't beaten far from a poor draw at York and she can get back on the up with victory. Rex Carver looks the danger being open to improvement from his first run at Redcar when well backed.

This can go to IT AIN'T TWO who had excuses when a beaten favourite in a York Listed contest last time.

19:00 Fairyhouse Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MADAME PLAINTIFF was successful on penultimate start in Gowran Park and showed that her new mark isn't beyond her when a fair fourth in a higher class at the Curragh. She has the best draw in stall one, so jockey Robert Whearty has options. Vivienda has ability and this new trip could unlock it as her half brother won over 7f in Gowran Park. Elegant Madame has been highly tried since getting off the mark on debut at Lingfield last summer and should appreciate these calmer waters, while Velvet Skies is more than capable of banking a cheque.

A wide-open handicap with the vote going to MASOUN, who will hopefully settle better without the blinkers on this time and his mark is a very fair one on the pick of his form. Mark's One also has a bigger performance in him, with Auburn Avenue completing the shortlist.

It's easy to make cases for a whole host of these and AUBURN AVENUE could easily improve on her first handicap run at the Curragh.

19:10 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Swearer was still in contention when falling three out at Fakenham on his handicap bow and could figure in this. The vote, though, goes to BLOW YOUR HORN, who has proven himself to be a useful stayer on the Flat and recent hurdles efforts suggest he is capable of striking off his initial jumping mark. Prairie Diamond is another who may do better now handicapping for the first time.

This is highly likely to boil down to a head-to-head between BLOW YOUR HORN and Let It Shine. Preference is for the former, who appears to be gradually getting the hang of things in this sphere and he makes plenty of appeal with headgear enlisted off a potentially handy mark now handicapping. Let It Shine has been give a helping hand by the assessor and he will be a big threat if fully tuned-up for this yard debut, while Prairie Diamond is best of the rest.

The handicap hurdle newcomers PRAIRIE DIAMOND and Blow Your Horn look the most interesting candidates in a weak race.

19:17 Limerick Handicap Hurdle 19f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Top-weight PHOENIX COWBOY looks very well treated on handicap debut if primed for his first run since last September. Having had just the three starts over hurdles for current connections, the former 90-rated Flat horse looks to be leniently treated off 109 in this discipline. Recent Downpatrick winner That's About Right should be competitive if coping with the drop in trip. Successful over three furlongs further last time, he will need to be sharper here. Conor Owens can claim an additional 3lb now, which should help negate the 5lb rise the gelding received for winning. Wa Wa should be straighter here following a promising return at Tipperary recently.

SON OF HYPNOS was a good third over 2m at Punchestown last week and might prove the answer to this handicap with the step back up in trip in his favour. Penalised Downpatrick winner That's About Right should go well if coping with the quick turnaround. Missus Beeton also makes the shortlist, while the Charles Byrnes-trained The Mass Path would also enter the reckoning should the betting speak in his favour.

Open-looking with preference is for BETTY DUTTON, who has her ground and shaped nicely on her recent comeback run

19:25 Carlisle Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Blufferonthebus seems likely to prove popular after winning over a furlong shorter here last time out, but she has a 6lb penalty to carry and may struggle to confirm that effort with both the runner-up Oceanic Wonder and third placed JESMOND DAWN. The selection was a beaten favourite when pulling too hard for his own good but he remains open to improvement and is taken to get off the mark.

BLUFFERONTHEBUS was a decisive winner here earlier this month and looks well in under a 6 lb penalty. She can follow up. Infinite Honour and Top Flight Century rate the principal dangers.

Preference is for INFINITE HONOUR who has run well to be placed the last twice despite hanging left. There is stamina in his pedigree.

19:30 Fairyhouse Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The Ger Lyons-trained NATIONAL LADY looks the one to beat, despite the obvious negative of being drawn out wide. Placed twice in juvenile maidens last season, the form of those particular races could hardly have worked out any better. With the benefit of a comeback run when second at Cork in March, the filly should be primed for this assignment. Emerald Harmony stepped up on two promising earlier efforts when staying on nicely to finish runner-up at Limerick. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly has an advantageous draw if Ben Coen elects to make use of it. Emerald Eclipse had shaped well in two maidens prior to disappointing in handicap company. He may find a return to this grade easier.

NATIONAL LADY gave another good account of herself when runner-up on reappearance in March and a repeat of that level may well suffice. Emerald Eclipse and Blue Poppy are a couple of potential threats.

National Lady sets the standard but EMERALD ECLIPSE is drawn lower and he's better than he showed in a handicap last time.

19:40 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A 10lb rise is bound to make life more difficult for TIME FOR A PINT after a success over C&D earlier in the month, but the seven-year-old could not have won any easier that day and he looks capable of continuing his progress. Flemen's Tipple looked value for more than the winning margin when getting up late to score at Huntingdon and he must enter calculations, along with the likes of Dusautior and Pilot Show.

Cases can be made for several of these with PILOT SHOW topping the list. He has returned to form with solid placed efforts at Hereford the last twice, leaving the strong impression that his turn is very near. Time For A Pint dotted up over this C&D recently and he has to be feared, along with fellow last-time-out winners Dusautior and Flemen's Tipple.

Preference is for DUSAUTIOR, who was game when winning at Bangor and looks likely to have more to offer over this trip.

19:47 Limerick Handicap Hurdle 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Although it took the Gavin Cromwell-trained ON MY BIKE 11 attempts to get his head in front, the gelding may well follow up his recent Punchestown win. The six-year-old was always travelling easily before quickening up to win smartly. Provided the ground doesn't deteriorate further, the son of Gatewood can make it back-to-back victories. Having reached the frame on both starts since returning from a break, the locally-trained My Friend The Wind is sure to be primed for this contest. A previous dual winner, he looks capable of adding to those successes in the coming weeks. Tipperary maiden winner Slip Jig is difficult to assess on her handicap debut. A mark of 102 could well underestimate her abilities.

Gavin Cromwell's ON MY BIKE could have more to offer on the back of last week's Punchestown success and can go in again off 7 lb higher. Recent Tipperary maiden winner Slip Jig could progress again in handicaps and is second choice ahead of My Friend The Wind. Walk In Time did well last summer and should also have a part to play if fully primed after 9 months off.

Winning with seemingly a bit in hand at Punchestown recently, ON MY BIKE can follow up here off a 7lb higher mark now upped in trip

19:55 Carlisle Stakes (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Haya has a race in her after coming home in the first four on every start, including when second at Windsor last time out, and she can go well in receipt of her sex allowance. GALYX caught the eye with a comfortable success over a mile at Windsor when powering clear on soft ground and there may be more to come. Bebeto might be the best of the Jim Goldie trio and could be booked for third.

This can go to GALYX, who opened his account in good style at Windsor earlier this month and remains with potential. Haya looks the obvious danger on form, whilst positive market vibes for fairly-useful bumper winner Bolton on his return to action could prove significant.

This may become a straight fight between GALYX and Haya. The former is given the nod as he may be open to more improvement.

20:00 Fairyhouse Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LAYOFTHELAND can credit Sean Davis with a first success in the training ranks. Runner-up on her two most recent starts, when beaten less than a length on both occasions, the filly can gain compensation now. Colin Keane is a very significant booking on the lightly-raced daughter of Land Force. Navan runner-up Rappell also holds leading claims for in-form trainer Paul Flynn. The gelding was making his handicap debut when finding just one too good at the County Meath track last time. Alex Belardo was behind the latter horse on his reappearance, but didn't get the clearest of runs and should be more competitive this time. However, he does have to overcome the widest draw.

This represents a golden opportunity for LAYOFTHELAND to deservedly get her head in front. She has gone close at Sligo and Navan on her last two starts and the booking of Colin Keane suggests that connections mean business. Rappell raised his game when runner-up at Navan earlier this month and he could be the one for the forecast. Marvellous Lady is best of the rest.

A slow starter in a Navan event in which Rappell finished second, LAYOFTHELAND (nap) is tipped to reverse that form.

20:10 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GET SKY HIGH could hardly have won any easier when scoring over C&D last time out, and a mark of 110 looks manageable for Dan Skelton's mare on her handicap debut. The daughter of Getaway should have too much for fellow handicap debutant and Ludlow scorer Bellbird, while Addosh is another of interest on the back of a creditable third at Huntingdon.

BELLBIRD had plenty in hand when opening her account at Ludlow earlier this month and promising to adapt to handicaps, Donald McCain's 4-y-o is fancied to follow up at the expense of Get Sky High, who is also making her handicap debut after making it third time lucky in this sphere over C&D recently. Addosh arrives in form so she can edge out Linda Moon for third place.

Unexposed BELLBIRD (nap) is taken to make it two out of three over hurdles by beating recent C&D maiden hurdle winner Get Sky High.

20:17 Limerick NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Third in a maiden hurdle at Wexford on her racecourse debut, LONG GONE can gain a first career success. The Declan Queally-trained mare kept on well from the final flight on that occasion. Fitted with a first-time hood on her bumper debut, the six-year-old should be hard to beat. Former Flame, a half-sister to a dual winner, has to be respected on her introduction. Liz Doyle is well able to ready a debutant so any market support should be noted. Kate Knows Best, a staying-on fourth at Ballinrobe last time, looks best of those with previous form in this grade. The John Ryan-trained mare had also run well when second on her debut at Gowran Park.

LONG GONE didn't cost much but showed plenty when a staying-on third in a novice hurdle at Wexford a month ago, so he's worth a chance to build on that switched to bumpers. Former Flame is a notable newcomer and Mount Senshan is the best of those with experience.

A sporting selection goes to newcomer FORMER FLAME with John Gleeson booked from a stable with a good reputation with bumper horses

20:25 Carlisle Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MAMBHA was beaten only a neck upped to 7f for the first time at Redcar on her handicap debut. She looks up to winning off her current mark if proving as effective on this soft ground. Kode Secret also found one too good at the same Redcar meeting as the selection and should be in the mix once again, while Calafrio will be sharper for a recent comeback run at Ripon and makes more appeal than Grid Iron Maiden.

KODE SECRET and Mambha were runner-up in the 2 divisions of the 7f 3-y-o handicap at Redcar last week and looks the pair to focus on, with both due to go up 2 lb from the weekend. The former is narrowly preferred.

Mambha and KODE SECRET finished runner-up at Redcar ten days ago, but the latter may cope better with the forecast soft ground.

20:30 Fairyhouse Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Now that he has recaptured the winning habit, GEGENPRESSING can follow up his recent Sligo success. A four-time winner, the Eddie and Patrick Harty-trained six-year-old looks well treated off his current rating. Despite being raised to a mark of 51, the gelding has won off 24lb higher in the past. Naas runner-up Reinforce appears to have gradually improved this season. The four-year-old ran a career best latest when runner-up in a higher grade than this one at Naas. If he can reproduce that effort, he won't be too far away. Amanirenas doesn't appear to be in the best of form right now, but dropping into the bottom grade on a track where she has won previously could see a revival.

THERIVERRUNSDEEP is 0-16 on turf but she's been in good form on the all-weather in recent months and she is worth chancing off an attractive mark. Next on the list is Atbay, who found just one too good at Roscommon recently, while Gegenpressing, a winner at Sligo last time, is also high on the shortlist. Aurora Nova and Reinforce are others to consider for each-way purposes.

Open. GEGENPRESSING is not best drawn but he likes to go right handed and, all things considered, he was good value for his Sligo win.

(1) Miltiades 7/4, Off the mark at Ludlow in December and ran at least as well when second at Taunton (23f, good to soft) later the same month. Off 4 months and stuck to his task pretty well given how free he was when third of 7 over C&D 3 weeks ago (race is working out well). Eased 1 lb and he's a big player.
Equalled career-best form over C&D latest; drops 1lb; may eke out a bit more; player..

20:40 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Third behind a pair of subsequent winners when running well over C&D earlier in the month, MILTIADES must hold every chance on the drop in grade, and with Harry Cobden taking over in the saddle. A comfortable winner at Uttoxeter recently, Over Milk Wood looks to be the main danger off a 5lb higher mark, while School For Scandal is another to consider on his best form. Cotton End and Harlem Soul cannot be ruled out either.

MILTIADES gave a really good account of himself when third on return over C&D 3 weeks ago, and with the first pair that day successful since, the form looks rock solid. Eased 1 lb he has plenty to recommend him, with Over Milk Wood feared most. Of the rest, My Rockstar could go well at a price.

A weak contest and, coming here on the back of a joint career-best effort, MILTIADES may still have more to give and is the suggestion.

20:55 Carlisle Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The withdrawal of Federated has made VAMPIRE SLAYER's task a bit easier and Daragh Bourke's four-year-old can build on his Catterick second to get off the mark. Bella Bluesky began 2024 in fine form on the all-weather and is a lively threat if she can translate that to turf. Sonning is gradually working his way back into form and was ahead of Star Start when third at Ripon.

VAMPIRE SLAYER split next-time-out winners when runner-up at Catterick last month so looks well treated off only 1 lb higher. Bella Bluesky and Federated arrive in good form from AW and head the dangers in a competitive finale.

This can go to VAMPIRE SLAYER (nap) who seemed to appreciate the stiffer test when second over 1m4f on soft ground at Catterick.
