LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Having scored in a novice event at Wolverhampton 17 days ago, further improvement cannot be ruled out from Rosenpur. However, Jennie Candlish's gelding returns to handicap company off a 5lb higher mark and it could be worth taking a chance on the downgraded HAVECHATMA. The dual track-and-trip winner offered more encouragement when fourth over C&D latest and a 2lb drop in the ratings will help. Show Me Show Me is also of interest.

It was a belated but nonetheless deserved first success for ROSENPUR at Wolverhampton earlier this month and he looks capable of repeating the dose off a fair mark back in handicap company. King of The Jungle was knocking on the door prior to a low-key display last time and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back with a bold show, while Show Me Show Me also enters calculations.

A competitive sprint but LEVEL UP is in better form than his figures would indicate and he's a major player dropping into a Class 6.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Ant Colony arrives on the back of a respectable fifth on his handicap bow at Kempton and he should put his experience to good use reverting to maiden company. Cherry Cobbler has offered plenty of encouragement on his two outings to date and the son of Zoustar is also worth a second look. However, the aforementioned pair could prove vulnerable to newcomer NOBLE VICTORY, a half-brother to Jungle Cove, and market support for James Tate's colt would increase confidence.

NOBLE VICTORY is a likely-looking type and he certainly wouldn't need to be out of the ordinary to make a winning debut here. The hint should be taken if the market speaks in his favour. Ant Colony, Foro Romano and Cherry Cobbler are all likely to benefit from this drop to 5f and are feared most in that order of preference.

Tough At The Top may prove best of those with experience but the well-related newcomer NOBLE VICTORY can make a winning debut.

6/1(-20%)
(5) English Willow 6/1, Yard knows this family well and, having never threatened on debut, she took a step forward when third in mares' novice at Uttoxeter (22.2f, heavy) in December, though promised more for a long way. Could do better again over this shorter trip.
Fair third over 2m6f at Uttoxeter and could continue to progress; chance.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

This can go the way of CHIQUE ANGEL, who ran a promising race on her return from a long absence when third in a Plumpton bumper last month. Paul Nicholls' charge should enjoy the rise in distance on her hurdles bow, and she may have too much for English Willow, who showed significant improvement when third at Uttoxeter last time out. A well-related sort, who easily won a point-to-point in November, Bobbi With An I is one to monitor for market support on her Rules debut.

Having been off 13 months, CHIQUE ANGEL improved from her debut when third in a Plumpton bumper in December and she can build on that run to make a successful start over hurdles, her trainer having won this race 3 times in the last 5 renewals. Point winner Bobbi With An I is next on the list, ahead of Springtime Legend.

Those with hurdling experience don't set a daunting standard and this could go to point winner BOBBI WITH AN I on her rules debut.

CARAMAY has proved most progressive throughout her current campaign and the daughter of Lethal Force arrives on the back of a cosy victory over 1m3f here. That was the five-year-old's fifth triumph since September and a 2lb rise looks lenient. Although Humble Spark was thwarted in his hat-trick bid when runner-up at Newcastle last week, Jim Goldie's gelding is feared most, ahead of Charlie's Choice.

This is tougher than the handicap THE BAY WARRIOR bagged here recently but he appeared to have a bit left up his sleeve and, upped just 2 lb, he is taken to strike again. There are dangers aplenty, headed by the consistent Charlie's Choice, with the hat-trick seeking Caramay, Humble Spark and lightly-raced Hebridean Nomad others with claims. Top-weight Skye Breeze is also worthy of consideration.

Competitive. With a stamina question for Caramay, narrow preference is for SKYE BREEZE. Hebridean Nomad is very lightly raced.

(5) Passing Kate 9/2, Three-time hurdle winner who added to her good record on testing ground when making a successful chase debut over 17.5f at Exeter earlier this month. This 4 lb higher mark doesn't look insurmountable and she needs considering, for all that this is a tougher assignment.
Looked better than ever when justifying favouritism on recent chase debut at Exeter.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

PASSING KATE has won twice from three starts so far this season and stepping up in trip could eke out further improvement as she looks to build on a taking success at Exeter recently. Filanderer scored comfortably at Market Rasen last time out and he must enter calculations, along with Captain Boudet, who was always in control when getting off the mark at Hereford recently.

He's the only one of these without experience over fences but DIAMOND DICE has the look of a chaser and may well prove equal to the task, granted a clean round of jumping. The prospect of testing conditions is a plus for the 6-y-o (hurdles win was on heavy ground) and his latest effort in a Market Rasen handicap hurdle was arguably his best yet. Four of his five rivals are last-time-out winners, namely Captain Boudet, Filanderer, Shillanavogy and Passing Kate, and they all merit respect.

A warm race, with four of these having won last time. SHILLANAVOGY scored at Fontwell and this unexposed 7yo is taken to follow up.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Three from three before finishing down the field at Royal Ascot in June, DYRHOLAEY returned to action with a promising third at Wolverhampton last month, despite being a beaten favourite. The unexposed four-year-old will undoubtedly come on for that run and should go very close off an unchanged mark. It's been some time since King's Lynn's last success but a drop in class will help, while Rohaan is another to consider.

DYRHOLAEY has few miles on the clock and is entitled to build on last month's Wolverhampton return. He gets the nod. King's Lynn and True Promise can also make their presence felt.

King's Lynn and BADRI, the old men of the party, both lurk on dangerous marks and the selection can enhance his good C&D record.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

DON'T MIND IF I DO could not have done it any easier when bounding clear of his rivals over C&D last time out, and a 6lb penalty for that success may not be enough to stop him from going in again. Ambion View still looked to be going well in front when falling three out over further here in November and he must hold every chance if improving his jumping on this occasion. Kap Boy wasn't disgraced when fourth at Newbury last time out and he cannot be ruled out either.

The promising DON'T MIND IF I DO opened his account with minimum fuss over C&D last month and he looks destined for better things. Ambion View would probably be 2-2 in this sphere but for his tumble at the third-last here in November and he is feared most ahead of Kap Boy.

Exeter winner Ambion View is respected but this could go to DON'T MIND IF I DO, who won easily over C&D last time.

FURTHER MEASURE caught the eye at Wolverhampton earlier this month before going on to record a commanding success over this C&D last Thursday, and a 4lb penalty is unlikely to prevent him from going in again. That said, Blue Sky Boy has few miles on the clock and, having kept on over 1m6f at Chelmsford last time, the step up in trip could unlock further improvement. Dark Mystery is noted too.

FURTHER MEASURE posted his best effort for current connections when scoring over C&D last week and looks well in under a penalty. He can follow up. Dark Mystery and Blue Sky Boy rate the principal dangers.

Further Measure has clear claims but preference is for the younger BLUE SKY BOY who looks progressive.

Heavy ground wasn't a barrier to success for OUR BILL'S AUNT when she tenaciously won over a similar trip at Leicester nine days ago and is a logical choice turning out off the same mark. Olivia Kate also appeals after a near-miss over an extended 2m5f at Exeter and should go well despite a 5lb rise. Gentleman Jacques is another to keep an eye on.

OUR BILL'S AUNT was to back to her best when scoring in a conditionals/amateurs event at Leicester last week and escapes a penalty for that win, so is fancied to follow up at the chief expense of Olivia Kate, who got herself right back to form when runner-up at Exeter earlier in the month. Gentleman Jacques can complete the placings in a contest seemingly containing plenty of dead wood.

Olivia Kate can go well but preference is for OUR BILL'S AUNT (nap), who escapes a penalty for her recent win at Leicester.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Cloch Nua is likely to prove popular having landed a couple of similar events over the mile at Newcastle recently but, although respected, a drop in trip might not play to his strengths and VAN ZANT is preferred. Ruth Carr's gelding hit the woodwork at Wolverhampton on his penultimate outing before going one better over C&D last time, and a reproduction of that performance might be good enough. Evoluir can chase the pair home.

Preference is for VAN ZANT, who showed a good attitude when returning to winning ways here earlier this month. The hat-trick seeking Cloch Nua is feared most, whilst Evoluir should also go well.

Cloch Nua has strong form claims but the drop to 7f isn't sure to suit and recent C&D winner VAN ZANT edges preference.

IOUPY COLLONGES needed every yard of the trip when he got up late to win over this C&D on Boxing Day and is an attractive option bidding to follow up off just 3lb higher in first-time cheekpieces. Pedley Wood was also a game winner over 2m4f on the same card and commands respect back up in trip off 6lb higher. Good Boy Bobby, a gallant third in the Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby, is another with a live chance here.

PEDLEY WOOD proved better than ever when scoring over a shorter trip here last month and remains feasibly treated. He can follow up. Montgomery is much better than he showed at Haydock last time and is feared most.

This will be a thorough test in the conditions and MONTGOMERY has good form over further than this.

PORFIN made most when scoring by two lengths in this company at Lingfield six days ago and, providing he can run to a similar level, he might be able to follow up. Hawajes is a previous C&D winner who sports first-time blinkers after finishing third behind the selection last week, and could get closer. Of the remainder, Miss Calculation makes the most appeal.

MISS CALCULATION caught the eye when finishing well at Wolverhampton earlier this month and will benefit from the return to this longer trip. She can land the spoils. Porfin and Hawajes look the likeliest dangers.

Although behind Porfin last week at Lingfield, HAWAJES might be happier back here and the blinkers may also give him a lift.

Two thirds in points have come after lengthy absences and he was beaten 22l in the latest.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content,

MR GLASS landed a brace of point-to-point wins shortly after joining Will Biddick last year and this could be a good time to side with this low-mileage nine-year-old. Last year's winner Quintin's Man is a must for consideration in this company, despite having to concede weigh all round. The lightly-raced veteran Upton Road also appeals on his first attempt in a race of this nature.

MR GLASS is in good hands and boasts an unbeaten record in points. Still relatively unexposed, he can make a successful debut in hunters. Upton Road hasn't been seen for some time but may provide the chief threat.

Last year's winner Quintin's Man can run well but he was beaten some 11l by MR GLASS when they last clashed in a point.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Tea Sea successfully completed a double when scoring over a mile here at the start of the month, but a 2lb rise makes life tougher and FISTRAL BEACH is preferred. John Mackie's four-year-old grabbed third towards the finish over C&D last week and could defy her 2lb higher mark to shed the maiden tag. Reputation is holding his form well at present and is another to keep an eye on.

The hat-trick seeking TEA SEA still looks feasibly treated and can extend his winning run. Reputation and Kodi Red may provide the chief threat.

Not many in here arrive in much form but that's not the case with TEA SEA (nap) who has every chance of completing a hat-trick.

There were enough positives to be gleaned from Beauty In The Park's debut fourth at Warwick in November to suggest that a race of this nature is within her compass. Paul Nicholls' mare sets the standard of those with race experience, but she could prove vulnerable to a newcomer such as THERE RUNS MARY. The daughter of Flemensfirth is a sister to bumper/hurdle scorer She's A Fine Wine and is taken to go well first time up. Fellow debutant Oracle Park must also be considered.

THERE RUNS MARY makes plenty of appeal on paper and might be able to make a successful debut. Beauty In The Park can improve on her debut effort at Warwick, while Hill In Brazil and Oracle Park are also respected first time up.

The Paul Nicholls-trained BEAUTY IN THE PARK can improve on her pleasing debut with today's slower surface likely to suit.

SOAMES FORSYTE regained the winning thread in good style over track and trip earlier in the month and is only 4lb higher. Michael Herrington's six-year-old might only need to produce a repeat of that performance in order to go in again. Available Angel attempted to make every yard of the running when fading into fourth over C&D last week and might get into contention, while Cliffcake also makes some appeal.

SOAMES FORSYTE returned to the winners enclosure here earlier this month and still looks fairly treated on old form. He can follow up. Overnight Oats and Cliffcake are also of interest.

Recent C&D winner SOAMES FORSYTE remains on a handy mark back up 4lb and can follow up. King Of York is feared most.

FRESH AS A DAISY was far from disgraced when finishing fifth on her debut in a Listed affair at Huntingdon and that experience could prove crucial. Nicky Henderson's mare should find this class 3 contest much more to her liking and she rates as the one to beat. The biggest threat is Uttoxeter third Ghina Di Tacco, although market support for either Baby Thyme or Dream County would be interesting.

GHINA DI TACCO made a promising start at Uttoxeter 4 weeks ago and looks the way to go with improvement likely. Fresh As A Daisy likewise shaped well in a listed Huntingdon contest first time up and should progress. Baby Thyme heads up some interesting newcomers.

Nicky Henderson's FRESH AS A DAISY ran okay in a Listed race at Huntingdon won by the talented Supreme Malinas and this looks easier.

(6) Doves Of Peace 66/1, Course winner. Visored for 1st time, ninth of 12 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW, 12/1) 57 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Michael Bell and cheekpieces back on. Wouldn't be without a chance if he were to put his best foot forward.
Well held in final two runs for Micheal Bell and he needs a major revival for new yard.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

All three of NUBOUGH's previous wins were registered on Polytrack, including one at this venue. There have been signs of a revival of late and the nine-year-old could be worth chancing. Windsor Pass has generally been consistent, despite still searching for a breakthrough win after 29 attempts, and she should go well once again. Lord Danielson and Mashaan complete the shortlist.

Lending support to a 29-race maiden is rarely advisable but in the case of WINDSOR PASS an exception can be made. Indeed, the 7-y-o has hit the crossbar on three of her last four starts and she probably should've won over this C&D last time (left with too much to do). Almodovar del Rio has edged down to an attractive mark and could be the main danger, though Lord Danielson and Mashaan are also plausible candidates for that role.

This looks a bit trappy but the vote goes to WINDSOR PASS, who is generally reliable and was a close second over C&D 19 days ago.

Useful pedigree; probably one for later on, given her stable, but worth a market check.
LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Jake Loves Laura sets the standard from those with experience, but this could be destined to go to one of the newcomers, with METAMORA looking the pick of them. The daughter of Bated Breath is out of a Listed winner over 6f and could have been found an ideal starting point. Rescue Mission has winners in her pedigree and may prove to be the chief threat.

DIAMONT KATIE fared best of the newcomers when fourth in a 10-runner Southwell novice on debut and, with that experience to draw upon here, she could prove too strong for likely-looking debutante Rescue Mission and Jake Loves Laura.

Diamont Katie and Jake Loves Laura have shown ability but they do not set a high standard for newcomer RESCUE MISSION.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Recent form suggests the likes of Lilkian, Match Anthem and Miss Moonshine can all play strong roles. However, this could finally be the time for FAST FLO to gain a first career success. A close second in a similar event over C&D on her penultimate start, Christine Dunnett's mare was a respectable fourth in a handicap at Wolverhampton most recently. A simple repeat of that level could suffice here.

On the back of an eye-catching effort in a 5f Wolverhampton handicap, ADMIRABLE LAD could be the answer with this step back up in trip a good move. Lilkian went down narrowly at Lingfield last time and looks sure to be in the thick of things once again, while Match Anthem is third choice ahead of Heartrate and Shades of May.

The vote goes to 12-time AW winner LILKIAN, who was only just caught in a 6f handicap at Lingfield last week.

MIGGY MAGIC hasn't finished out of the top three since joining the Michael Keady stable, with his best effort arguably coming when second at Southwell six days ago. The four-year-old goes off a 1lb higher mark here and could gain his first career success. Thunder Star wasn't disgraced when third in this grade at Newcastle earlier in the month and could go well off 1lb lower, while Rebel Path is another to watch out for.

With blinkers applied, MIGGY MAGIC has been shaping up well for Michael Keady, only denied late on at Southwell 6 days ago, so he could be ready to get off the mark this time around. Angle Land wasted no time getting back to form when making the frame over C&D last time and is respected, while Thunder Star could also be in the mix.

Miggy Magic should go well again but SECRET MISTRAL remains on a dangerous mark and has the assistance of Rossa Ryan this evening.

SUNNY TIME had Kameko Spirit (third) and La Mer Grise (fourth) behind when accounting for a subsequent winner by a length at Lingfield on his latest outing and has only been raised 5lb for that success. The son of Without Parole is aided by the booking of Luke Morris and could prove very hard to beat. Top Biller finished a respectable fourth at Southwell last time and should remain competitive off a 1lb lower mark.

SUNNY TIME has been going the right way with cheekpieces added on his last 2 starts, making all to open his account at Lingfield last time, and he is taken to score again now that he's up and running. Top Biller has also improved since headgear has been applied and is feared most, ahead of Kameko Spirit.

Most of these have plenty to prove but SUNNY TIME (nap) is a notable exception and he can follow up his recent Lingfield win.

(1) Samra Star 5/1, Much improved from debut when landing 11-runner Wolverhampton novice (9.5f) in August. Not disgraced in pair of handicaps more recently, fitted with a hood when third of 5 back at that venue (8.6f) 24 days ago. Remains early days now stepping back up in trip.
Could do with settling better but not beaten far in first two handicaps and not ruled out.

(8) Palazzo Persico 12/1, Doubled his tally over this C&D in a first-time visor in December. Latest fourth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (11.1f) suggests the assessor has him about right at present but the return to this shorter trip is likely in his favour.
Won over C&D last month; fair fourth at Southwell latest; firmly in calculations back here.

Placed on each of his last three starts, including over C&D last month, RAINWATER can be rewarded for his consistency on this occasion, with Warren Fentiman taking off a handy 7lb in the saddle. Not beaten too far at Wolverhampton last time out, Samra Star looks to be a key threat, along with Urban Sprawl, who has the potential to improve for going up in trip.

RAINWATER has been acquitting himself with plenty of credit in recent months and with his rider taking off a handy 7 lb, he could be worth siding with, admittedly in a higher grade than he usually contests. Urban Sprawl has yet to finish out of the frame around here and lines up in good order, so heads the dangers. Aiming High and Samra Star are others in the mix.

Chelmsford brings out the best in PALAZZO PERSICO and he is taken to post his third C&D win. Rainwater can pose the main threat.

(5) Reverberation 12/1, Veteran C&D winner who stepped up on his yard debut effort when third over 10f here in December. However, not replicated that level in 2 subsequent starts, racing freely when fourth of 8 in handicap (28/1) at Kempton (1m) 10 days ago.
Dual course winner but he needs to rediscover his spark to pose a threat.

(8) Devilwala 100/1, Sold cheaply out of Tim Easterby's yard and offered little all 3 starts following a lengthy absence for new stable, in refitted tongue strap when last of 8 in handicap (100/1) at Southwell (7.1f) 7 days ago. Visor applied now but he's not one to be interested in.
His last win was in 2022 and he's struggled for new yard this winter.

BILLY MCGARRY looks the one to beat if building on a strong runner-up effort when worn down late on over 7f at Southwell last week. The six-year-old may have too much for United Force, who has strong claims based on his success at Southwell a couple of starts ago, while Artificer is another to consider on the pick of her form.

CHERRY KING once again found only one too good at Wolverhampton on Tuesday and can surely find a race soon. Billy McGarry following his good Southwell second is next best, ahead of United Force.

Preference is for BILLY MCGARRY, who was a close second at Southwell last week and is 2lb well in off the same mark here.
