14:30 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SMART CHARGER was a strong fancy on his seasonal return/debut run for Alan King at Southwell last month and ran admirably to finish a close second over 1m4f that day. A try over this longer trip now appears a logical move and the four-year-old can reward any faithful supporters by going one place better. Vision Of Hope has won on the all-weather off his current mark and also appeals after a near miss here last time. Philos and Kindgirl complete the shortlist.

SMART CHARGER showed improved form on his debut for this yard at Southwell last time and, likely to be sharper for it, he's worth a chance to go one better at the possible expense of recent Chelmsford winner Beggarman. Vision of Hope is another one to be interested in.

The 4yo maiden SMART CHARGER is taken to build on his Southwell effort and get off the mark. Tigerten is second choice.

15:00 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

EXPERT WITNESS posted a sterling effort when runner-up in a similar race at Bath on his seasonal bow last month and this could be the ideal time to catch the Sir Mark Todd-trained four-year-old, who runs off a highly competitive mark. Recent course and distance winner Aim For The Moon is feared most, despite a 6lb higher rating. Ciotog and Taravara can also go close on these terms.

KAARANAH twice shaped better than the bare result on all-weather earlier this year and, in the hope he gets a decent gallop to aim at back on turf, he could just be worth chancing to get back to winning ways having slipped in the weights. Expert Witness, Ciotog and recent C&D scorer Aim For The Moon are a trio of others to consider.

After a smooth-travelling C&D win last time, AIM FOR THE MOON can score again. Kaaranah and Queen's Company are feared.

15:30 Yarmouth Maiden (Class 2) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

The William Haggas-trained ART DESIGN, whose dam is a full-sister to dual Guineas heroine Winter, is the most appealing newcomer on paper and is suggested as the first one to note in the betting. Spherical runs for powerful connections and also warrants close inspection, while Blue Point Express, as a half-sister to a 6f winner, is another to bear in mind. Jane Chapple-Hyam sent out the winner of this race last year and her representative, Impatiently, commands respect.

The betting should prove useful with all but one newcomers, the narrow vote in favour of BLUE POINT EXPRESS before the benefit of market clues. Art Design and Spherical are others well worthy of interest representing leading stables.

The suggestion is NEVER FORGET YOU, ahead of Spherical. The market signals should help to complete the picture.

16:00 Yarmouth Stakes (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

625,000-euro purchase AGE OF GOLD represents a trainer very much on the hot list, and it would come as no surprise if the son of Frankel were able to get off the mark at the first time of asking. Cairdeas holds entries in some valuable sales contests later in the season and the son of impressive first-season-sire Sergei Prokofiev can give the selection most to think about. Saxonia may be advantaged due to being the only member of the field to have racecourse experience.

Just the one piece of form to go on, so AGE OF GOLD, the best-bred newcomer with a hefty price tag to match, is selected to make a winning start. Next on the list is Mission Command, while Saxonia will attempt to put his experience to good use.

The shortlist comprises the interesting newcomers AGE OF GOLD, Mission Command and Nascimento.

All races at about 6f; won final 3yo start last June; well held this year; cheekpieces on.

16:30 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Formerly with Sir Michael Stoute, FALCON NINE may prove a shrewd acquisition for the Charlie Fellowes' stable. The son of Ulysses appeared to not get home when finishing fourth over 1m2f on his last couple of starts, but stepping back in trip and sporting a hood for the first time are both positives for his claims here. Sir Oliver arrives on the back of an admirable third at Chelmsford earlier this month and, off an 8lb lower turf mark, a bold showing is anticipated. Red Maids met trouble in running at Haydock most recently and better is expected here, especially with William Buick reunited with her.

Prolific course winner PRISCILLA'S WISH teed herself up nicely for a return to this venue when an encouraging fifth back from 7 months off at Brighton 3 weeks ago and, now 5 lb below her last winning mark, she could be ready to strike. Red Maids can easily have her latest Haydock effort overlooked and better is expected here re-united with William Buick. Falcon Nine, on debut for Charlie Fellowes, and Society Lion are also in the mix.

Priscilla's Wish (second choice) looks sure to go well off a handy mark but RED MAIDS (nap) also has plenty to recommend her.

17:05 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

OH SO AUDACIOUS reappeared when third over a mile at Brighton last month and Harry Eustace's charge is likely to take a step forward from that display. Specialist View was sent off favourite when finishing sixth over an extended mile at Wolverhampton earlier this month, but she is the type to bounce back and cannot be overlooked lightly, while the habitually keen-going Seattle Time completes the shortlist wearing a hood for the first time.

A winner at Kempton in February, IVASECRET still needs to prove himself as effective on turf but his mark reflects that and he could just be worth chancing under William Buick. Specialist View and Seattle Time are others to consider, with Zafaan another to keep an eye on making his seasonal bow.

The first-time hood may well enable SEATTLE TIME to settle better and open his account. Oh So Audacious is second choice.
