LTO Selection:

16:10 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ROCK HUNTER was a close fourth in a similar event over 6f at Chelmsford earlier in the month and a repeat of that form may well be good enough to take this contest. That said, Elouise's Prince is an obvious threat having got off the mark over C&D a month ago but he carries a 7lb penalty as a result. Others to note are One For Harvey and Solvency.

ELOUISE'S PRINCE left his debut form well behind switched to AW when scoring over C&D in good style last month and can defy a penalty with more improvement likely. Rock Hunter made a positive start to his AW career when a close fourth at Chelmsford and is next best ahead of One For Harvey.

Being drawn wider than last time isn't ideal but ELOUISE'S PRINCE is otherwise an appealing sort. Rock Hunter is second choice.

LTO Selection:

16:40 Wolverhampton Maiden (Class 5) 8.5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Ghaiyya boasts an attractive profile and has to be noted, while the well-bred Empire Power could get competitive on her racecourse bow. Cape Flora and Falakeyah are other noteworthy newcomers, but the verdict is for HONOUR WHIM. She must be pleasing connections at home to be pitched in at Newbury on debut and it was a decent effort in third. The winner looked really useful and this filly might be worth another chance on her all-weather bow.

This can go to one of the newcomers, with the costly Kingman yearling CAPE FLORA making the most appeal before market clues. Falakeyah and Empire Power are other likely types.

Ghaiyya is the pick of the runners with experience. FALAKEYAH, Empire Power and Cape Flora are very interesting newcomers.

LTO Selection:

17:10 Wolverhampton Maiden (Class 5) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Wild Angel is more than capable of making the frame in a race of this nature but could be vulnerable once again. With that in mind, the vote goes to PATAGONIA GIRL following her encouraging second at Kempton a few weeks ago and she may have more improvement left to come. Kate O'Riley and Rock Diva are others with valid form claims, while Orionis and Safe Idea are newcomers to consider.

Preference is for PATAGONIA GIRL, who was doing her best work at the finish at Kempton last month and remains with potential. Wild Angel and Crepe Suzette rate the principal dangers.

Preference is for ROCK DIVA, who has very solid claims. Patagonia Girl and Wild Angel are also respected on form.

LTO Selection:

17:40 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A return to 7f worked just the treat for AMAYSMONT when regaining the winning thread at Chelmsford a fortnight ago. A 3lb rise in the ratings looks more than fair for Kevin Frost's inmate and a third win from his last four outings looks a distinct possibility. The biggest threat may be posed by dual C&D winner Global Warning, who arrives on the back of a close-up third over track and trip. Harbour Vision is another to note.

RUSHEEN BOY arrives on the back of an excellent close third at Chelmsford 3 weeks ago and looks ready to strike. In-form veterans Global Warning, Harbour Vision and Amaysmont are others to consider.

This should be run at an honest pace and that will suit both AMAYSMONT and Global Warning, who both arrive in solid form.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Having hit the frame on both subsequent outings since her wins here in October, PORT NOIR looks ready to collect again. Robert Stephens' mare scored on her last appearance over C&D and she edges the vote over fellow in-form rival Ravenglass. The five-year-old is only 1lb higher than his latest second at Southwell and another bold showing looks assured. Angel Of Antrim may fare best of the remainder.

STELLA HOGAN starts out for shrewd connections on a potentially good mark so could be worth chancing. Ravenglass is a solid alternative, while Sorontar is worth another chance to build on his Windsor run.

A few with chances but on another day ANGEL OF ANTRIM would have been a lot closer last time at Newcastle.

LTO Selection:

18:40 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The hat-trick seeking KITTY FURNIVAL supplemented her breakthrough success at Kempton when landing the spoils on her handicap bow over C&D earlier this month. A 3lb higher mark is unlikely the ceiling of the three-year-old's ability and she rates as the one to beat. Recent 1m3f Southwell runner-up Haku should appreciate a return to this 1m4f trip. Mark Loughnane's gelding looks the biggest danger, ahead of Way Of Life.

HAKU goes particularly well here and arrives in fine heart. He makes fair appeal in what looks a competitive contest. Kitty Furnival and Way of Life head the list of dangers.

With further improvement plausible, KITTY FURNIVAL (nap) is taken to complete a hat-trick. In-form Haku is feared most.

LTO Selection:

19:10 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A tad unlucky when suffering interference inside the final furlong over C&D last time out, that was BASHOLO's first start since May and she is entitled to come on plenty for it. The five-year-old has already scored three times over C&D this year and she is preferred to another course winner Street Life, who has strong claims on his penultimate second at Chelmsford. So Grateful and Under Curfew are likely to be thereabouts as well.

Preference is for BASHOLO, who posted a solid return from a break here last month and remains feasibly treated. Street Life and Darkened Edge can also make their presence felt.

Street Life can go well but SO GRATEFUL looks to have plenty to recommend him back on the AW.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BOYD CROWDER may not have shown much in three career starts so far, but he is bred to improve for going up in trip and remains unexposed. A mark of 55 on handicap debut could prove lenient and he gets the vote ahead of Zousca, who performed creditably when third over 1m at Southwell last time out. A winner here last November, Boujee Gold has yet to rediscover that form but must be of interest.

ZOUSCA has upped her game in recent starts and remains relatively low mileage. She can land the spoils. Boyd Crowder and Enzos Angel are also of interest.

It may be worth chancing CRYPTOS DREAM who has dropped to an appealing mark, including on the form she was showing here last winter.

20:15 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ALEX THE GREAT showed major improvement when scoring comfortably at Southwell last week and a 3lb rise for that success may not be enough to prevent him from going in again. The Resdev Way arrives with similar claims after a taking success over C&D earlier in the month, while Virtual Hug (fourth), who has just under two lengths to make up with him, is noted too.

ALEX THE GREAT finally got off the mark on just his second start for Tony Carroll last week and, escaping a penalty for that success, he's fancied to follow up at the expense of Breccia, who took a while to get going when runner-up at this track a couple of months ago and the reapplied headgear should help on that front. The Resdev Way and Virtual Hug met over C&D earlier in the month and they can fight out third.

It's hard to get away from ALEX THE GREAT who is 4lb well in following his success in a Southwell apprentice event nine days ago.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
