17:25 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Douglas Dc posted a better effort here last time when finishing third in first-time blinkers. However, he's yet to win on the Flat, and the less exposed JAILBIRD makes more appeal. The latter has been racing over hurdles without success since landing a handicap on the level at Lingfield last summer and returns to this code with solid claims off her current mark. Avarice and Marinakis won classified races on their latest starts with the former preferred over today's distance.

Preference is for MARINAKIS. He is up in trip but he should have inherited some stamina from his sire and has proved consistent.

18:00 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HOLLYWOOD TREASURE is a sister to the useful Fairy Dust, who placed in Listed company as a two-year-old. The daughter of Gregorian can make the most of her weight concession and launch a strong challenge. Tamather is related to a winner on the all-weather and could feature representing James Owen's in-form yard, while Could Be The Move includes a Listed winner among her six winning relatives and also merits consideration.

The selection BORN SLIPPY is out of a Group 3 sprint winner and may enhance his trainer's good record in 2yo AW races.

18:30 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NOBLEMAN failed to catch the winner by only a nose at Kempton last month. Andrew Balding's charge has improved with every start and is likely to prove a warm order with Oisin Murphy taking over the reins. King Kernow found only one too good on heavy going over 1m2f last autumn and there looks more to come from him over this extra distance, while Doddington Guy is a son of Postponed and is worthy of a second glance on his racecourse debut.

The biggest players on form are NOBLEMAN and King Kernow, while Praying For Time looks open to improvement.

19:00 Wolverhampton (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Jungle Land appeals turning out under a penalty after overcoming a wide draw to win over C&D last Monday. Drawn in stall two this time, the George Boughey-trained four-year-old must be taken seriously. However, CARGIN BHUI ran way below market expectations when he downed tools quickly in a deeper race over track and trip last month and is surely capable of better. Dropped in class with first-time cheekpieces tried, the Barrons' still low-mileage gelding looks worth another chance. Dicko The Legend and Muscika are other wily options.

The belated drop to sprinting looks likely to suit GIANT (nap), who is first choice ahead of Jungle Land.

19:30 Wolverhampton (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Kiss Me My Love has posted a couple of good efforts in defeat since switching to the all-weather and another 1lb drop in the ratings brings her into the equation. However, there could be a lot more to come from the unexposed KAMEKIST, who drops in trip for his handicap debut off a very workable mark. As a half-brother to a 6f winner, this could be a profitable move. Nad Alshiba Rain and The Thames Lady are others to consider.

Interesting handicap debutant KAMEKIST is first choice ahead of Nad Alshiba Rain and Kiss Me My Love.

20:00 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Not beaten far in his attempt to land the double at Wolverhampton last month, MARINER showed enough pace on that occasion to suggest he may be able to go in again on the drop back to 7f. A winner at Kempton on his penultimate outing and runner-up at Lingfield since, Split Elevens is a key player, along with the consistent Rogue Thunder, who has been second on his last two starts here.

The vote goes to attractively handicapped BERKSHIRE PHANTOM, ahead of Ever Driven and Mariner.

20:30 Wolverhampton (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A comfortable winner over C&D on his penultimate start before going on to score at Lingfield since, FIRST GREYED looks well capable of landing the hat-trick off 3lb higher, with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle. Venetian deservedly got back to winning ways with a smooth display over further here last month and he must enter calculations, along with recent C&D winner Flatley, who has been raised 3lb since.

The vote goes to FOREVER PROUD who won twice over C&D during the winter and who is back off her last winning mark.
