1st (2) ![]() Bobbi With An I |
11/8(+31%) | (2) Bobbi With An I 11/8, €35,000 3-y-o, £75,000 5-y-o, Kapgarde mare. Sister to 19f chase winner in France Adelykap, and half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chase winner Lord of Cheshire. Irish point winner at second attempt (easily beat sole other finisher, Nov 24). One to note. Sold for £75,000 after point win; found an apparently winnable race on her rules debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) ![]() Springtime Legend |
5/2(+72%) | (8) Springtime Legend 5/2, Some encouragement both starts in bumpers and, despite needing the experience, was noted keeping on for sixth in 13-runner C&D mares' novice (heavy) on hurdling debut in December. Merits consideration with hood added. Fair efforts on all three starts and she may be thereabouts in a first-time hood. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) ![]() Only Gossip |
100/1(+0%) | (7) Only Gossip 100/1, Winning pointer but hasn't gone with much encouragement in 2 starts over hurdles, ninth of 14 in maiden at Exeter (16.7f, heavy) 17 days ago. Goes back up in trip with hood now reached for. Winning pointer but pulled up/tailed off this winter on her first two hurdle starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) ![]() Chique Angel |
4/1(-167%) | (3) Chique Angel 4/1, Twice-raced in bumpers, improving from debut 13 months earlier when third of 10 at Plumpton (17.8f, good to soft) 45 days ago. Yard boasts good record in this race and she's a likely type upped in trip for her hurdles bow. Has shown ability in bumpers and she's open to improvement now up in trip on hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) ![]() Lyness Dancer |
250/1(-25%) | (6) Lyness Dancer 250/1, Behind both starts in point bumpers and it has been a similar story under Rules, beaten a long way in maiden hurdle at Taunton (19f, good to soft) 12 days ago. Best watched. Down the field at triple-figure odds on all three rules starts; others are preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) ![]() Ebselysees |
16/1(-88%) | (1) Ebselysees 16/1, Promise on first of 2 outings in bumpers and made a successful start over hurdles in mares' novice at Huntingdon (19.6f, good) in November. Found it tougher under a penalty at Uttoxeter last time, but she can give her running again. Won on hurdle debut at Huntingdon; a lesser run followed but she's not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) ![]() Damekap |
200/1(+20%) | (4) Damekap 200/1, Runner-up sole outing in points but has offered little in a bumper and 2 starts over hurdles so far, well-beaten twelfth of 16 in mares' novice at Warwick (21f, soft) 30 days ago. Looks to be up against it. Runner-up in British maiden point last March but well beaten on all three rules starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) ![]() English Willow |
6/1(-20%) | (5) English Willow 6/1, Yard knows this family well and, having never threatened on debut, she took a step forward when third in mares' novice at Uttoxeter (22.2f, heavy) in December, though promised more for a long way. Could do better again over this shorter trip. Fair third over 2m6f at Uttoxeter and could continue to progress; chance. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
This can go the way of CHIQUE ANGEL, who ran a promising race on her return from a long absence when third in a Plumpton bumper last month. Paul Nicholls' charge should enjoy the rise in distance on her hurdles bow, and she may have too much for English Willow, who showed significant improvement when third at Uttoxeter last time out. A well-related sort, who easily won a point-to-point in November, Bobbi With An I is one to monitor for market support on her Rules debut.
Having been off 13 months, CHIQUE ANGEL improved from her debut when third in a Plumpton bumper in December and she can build on that run to make a successful start over hurdles, her trainer having won this race 3 times in the last 5 renewals. Point winner Bobbi With An I is next on the list, ahead of Springtime Legend.
Those with hurdling experience don't set a daunting standard and this could go to point winner BOBBI WITH AN I on her rules debut.

1st (6) ![]() Filanderer |
10/3(+39%) | (6) Filanderer 10/3, Bumper winner who bettered hurdles exploits at first attempt in this sphere when second in handicap chase here in December 2023. Failed to build on that next 2 completed starts but improved when opening account over fences at Market Rasen (19.2f, good) during the autumn and 5 lb rise very fair. Won with something to spare at Market Rasen and he's one to consider up 5lb. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) ![]() Diamond Dice |
9/2(+10%) | (1) Diamond Dice 9/2, Winner of a Ludlow maiden hurdle last February and best effort since when finding just one too strong in a handicap at Market Rasen (18.6f, good to soft) on Boxing Day. Bang there when falling at the last on sole start in points and he's of strong interest now switched to fences. Runner-up over hurdles last time and he's a possible improver now switched to chasing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) ![]() Bertie Wooster |
13/2(+59%) | (2) Bertie Wooster 13/2, Gained reward for consistency over hurdles when opening his account in handicap at Taunton (19f, good) last spring. However, he has failed to make an impact in 2 starts in this sphere to date and it's best to look elsewhere. Won off this mark over hurdles but soundly beaten on first two chase starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) ![]() Shillanavogy |
9/2(+0%) | (4) Shillanavogy 9/2, Hurdles winner at Hereford last spring and firmly back on track when making it third time lucky over fences at Fontwell (21.6f, soft) in December. 6 lb higher mark to contend with and this a stronger race but still has low mileage and should make his presence felt. Won at Fontwell on third chase start and could still have more left in the tank. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) ![]() Captain Boudet |
4/1(-14%) | (3) Captain Boudet 4/1, Showed ability without managing to get his head in front over hurdles and delivered at the first time of asking in this sphere when recently accounting for 5 rivals in a Hereford handicap (21f, good to soft). 5 lb rise no great hardship and he should have more to offer as a chaser. Won on recent chase debut at Hereford and could have more to offer over fences; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) ![]() Passing Kate |
9/2(+0%) | (5) Passing Kate 9/2, Three-time hurdle winner who added to her good record on testing ground when making a successful chase debut over 17.5f at Exeter earlier this month. This 4 lb higher mark doesn't look insurmountable and she needs considering, for all that this is a tougher assignment. Looked better than ever when justifying favouritism on recent chase debut at Exeter. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
PASSING KATE has won twice from three starts so far this season and stepping up in trip could eke out further improvement as she looks to build on a taking success at Exeter recently. Filanderer scored comfortably at Market Rasen last time out and he must enter calculations, along with Captain Boudet, who was always in control when getting off the mark at Hereford recently.
He's the only one of these without experience over fences but DIAMOND DICE has the look of a chaser and may well prove equal to the task, granted a clean round of jumping. The prospect of testing conditions is a plus for the 6-y-o (hurdles win was on heavy ground) and his latest effort in a Market Rasen handicap hurdle was arguably his best yet. Four of his five rivals are last-time-out winners, namely Captain Boudet, Filanderer, Shillanavogy and Passing Kate, and they all merit respect.
A warm race, with four of these having won last time. SHILLANAVOGY scored at Fontwell and this unexposed 7yo is taken to follow up.

1st (3) ![]() Champagne Chic |
16/1(+52%) | (3) Champagne Chic 16/1, Very cheap purchase given his pedigree but there were encouraging signs when sixth of 13 on debut in a 19f Taunton novice (soft) earlier this month. Entitled to come on for that run and should do better in time. Fair sixth on debut; open to improvement but needs a sizeable step forward. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) ![]() Ambion View |
4/1(-33%) | (1) Ambion View 4/1, Modest form when third in a pair of bumpers last winter but has looked a different proposition switched to hurdles the last twice, scoring on debut in this sphere at Exeter (18.5f, good to soft) before falling 3 out (travelling well at the time) here in November. Remains open to improvement. Won on hurdle debut at Exeter in October and the clear runner-up is 2-2 since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) ![]() Don't Mind If I Do |
4/7(+15%) | (2) Don't Mind If I Do 4/7, £75,000 half-brother to 3 winners and very promising start to his career when runner-up in a big-field Newbury bumper last spring. Also found just one too good on return/hurdles bow at Warwick prior to landing the odds in a C&D maiden (soft) last month and he's clearly a decent prospect. Has shown strong form (on good to soft); holds leading claims if handling testing ground. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) ![]() Kap Boy |
9/2(-13%) | (6) Kap Boy 9/2, Plenty of promise in bumpers last season, scoring on debut at Chepstow before finishing third in a good-quality contest at Newbury. Left inauspicious hurdles bow (shaped as though amiss) behind when fourth of 11 back at Newbury (16.3f, good to soft) last month and should make his presence felt. Heavy-ground bumper winner; fair fourth over hurdles last time and open to improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) ![]() Copper Jack |
25/1(+0%) | (4) Copper Jack 25/1, Irish point winner who has shown ability in a couple of 21.6f novice events at Ascot since switched to hurdles. Dropping in trip looks a good move but he appeals as the type who will be seen in a better light when making his way down the handicap route. Heavy-ground 3m point winner; needs to improve upon what he's shown under rules. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) ![]() Bradman |
300/1(-50%) | (7) Bradman 300/1, Dual winner of 1½m AW handicaps on the Flat for Charlie Fellowes last winter but there were very few positives to glean from his hurdles debut at Taunton. Two Flat wins but at modest level and well beaten at 125-1 on last month's hurdle debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) ![]() Harry Junior |
150/1(-200%) | (5) Harry Junior 150/1, Closely related to useful hurdler Harry Senior but hasn't shown much in a bumper/maiden hurdle so far and he's another who will be of greater interest when handicapping in due course. Tailed off on hurdle debut at Ffos Las and others make greater appeal. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
DON'T MIND IF I DO could not have done it any easier when bounding clear of his rivals over C&D last time out, and a 6lb penalty for that success may not be enough to stop him from going in again. Ambion View still looked to be going well in front when falling three out over further here in November and he must hold every chance if improving his jumping on this occasion. Kap Boy wasn't disgraced when fourth at Newbury last time out and he cannot be ruled out either.
The promising DON'T MIND IF I DO opened his account with minimum fuss over C&D last month and he looks destined for better things. Ambion View would probably be 2-2 in this sphere but for his tumble at the third-last here in November and he is feared most ahead of Kap Boy.
Exeter winner Ambion View is respected but this could go to DON'T MIND IF I DO, who won easily over C&D last time.

1st (3) ![]() Gentleman Jacques |
2/1(+56%) | (3) Gentleman Jacques 2/1, Made a low-key start for current connections but his recent second in an 11-runner handicap hurdle at Exeter (21.6f, heavy) 29 days ago was more like it and he's not ruled out if able to build on that. 0-13 but bumped into a handicap blot when 16l second at Exeter on New Year's Day. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) ![]() Our Bill's Aunt |
5/2(0%) | (1) Our Bill's Aunt 5/2, At least as good as ever when winning 11-runner handicap hurdle under this rider at Leicester (20.5f, heavy) 9 days ago. Turned out again quickly but goes unpenalised for that success and has to be on the shortlist. Won on heavy ground at Leicester last week and escapes a penalty this afternoon. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) ![]() Olivia Kate |
3/1(+10%) | (7) Olivia Kate 3/1, Advanced her form when easily getting off the mark at Ludlow in November and got back on the up when runner-up in a 15-runner contest at Exeter (21.6f, heavy) 17 days ago. Should go well again. Won in fine style at Ludlow in November and clear second at Exeter latest; leading player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) ![]() Moorland Rambler |
9/1(-50%) | (4) Moorland Rambler 9/1, Back to form returned to hurdling when second in a 10-runner contest at Exeter early in December. Perhaps found his next start coming too soon less than a fortnight on and he's not ruled out with cheekpieces on for the first time. Inconsistent, with poor strike-rate, but a case can be made on his penultimate effort. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (11) ![]() Alkhattaaf |
33/1(+18%) | (11) Alkhattaaf 33/1, Maiden hurdler has pulled up both outings since returning from a 17-month absence, so rates as particularly difficult to fancy. Runner-up here in April 2023 but pulled up on both runs this season after a long absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (14) ![]() Bellamy's Grey |
40/1(0%) | (14) Bellamy's Grey 40/1, It's now over 3 years since this veteran's sole career success and he rates as difficult to fancy returning from 8 months off in a first-time tongue strap. Couple of fair efforts earlier this year but has poor strike-rate and returns from absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (10) ![]() Stage Show |
25/1(-39%) | (10) Stage Show 25/1, Fair maiden on Flat and more like it over hurdles with a brace of fourth-place finishes in handicaps around 17f in the autumn. Little impact in 2 starts since, though, so bounce back is called for. Made the frame twice in a row in the autumn but well beaten the next twice and now 0-21. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (8) ![]() Broomfield Gale |
7/1(+72%) | (8) Broomfield Gale 7/1, Modest hurdler at best in Ireland for Robert Murphy. Placed on her debut for this yard back in November but no better than mid-field subsequently and refused to race at Taunton 12 days ago. Others more persuasive. 15-race maiden who refused to race last time; probably best to look elsewhere. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) ![]() What U Wanna Do Is |
28/1(-180%) | (6) What U Wanna Do Is 28/1, Showed her first form under Rules when a never-nearer fourth of 14 in novice hurdle at Exeter (16.7f, heavy) 17 days ago. Opening mark takes no chances but she's less exposed than most. Improvement needed on handicap debut but the step up in trip may help. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (9) ![]() Demilion |
33/1(-83%) | (9) Demilion 33/1, Fairly useful handicapper at best on Flat (stays 12.5f) for Charlie Johnston but hasn't yet gone on from a reasonably encouraging start in this sphere. Others preferred. On a reduced mark but tailed off/pulled up the last twice and needs to turn things around. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (2) ![]() Duke Of Moravia |
33/1(-18%) | (2) Duke Of Moravia 33/1, Signed off last term with 2m5f hurdling success at Wincanton but has produced two disconcerting efforts over fences this season, looking moody at Market Rasen last time. Something to prove back over the smaller obstacles having left Henry Daly. Course hurdles winner; twice pulled up in autumn chases; reverts to hurdles for yard debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (12) ![]() Benville Bridge |
50/1(+24%) | (12) Benville Bridge 50/1, Poor form over hurdles last spring and has pulled up on both outings over fences this season. Cheekpieces now go on. Didn't show much in novice hurdles and pulled up on first two handicap/chase starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (15) ![]() Giddy Up |
100/1(-203%) | (15) Giddy Up 100/1, No show in novice/maiden hurdles in the spring for Mitchell Hunt and has since pulled up in a point. Plenty more needed now handicapping. Makes handicap/stable debut off basement mark but has shown very little in light career. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (17) ![]() The Wire Flyer |
150/1(-200%) | (17) The Wire Flyer 150/1, Nearly 4 years since his sole win, and after 15 months off, showed nothing at Ffos Las on a sole start for Christian Williams back in May. Changed hands during another 8 months off and rates as difficult to fancy, 10yo whose sole win was in February 2021; a long time since he showed any worthwhile form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (16) ![]() Lady Ironside |
150/1(-127%) | (16) Lady Ironside 150/1, Long-standing maiden on level and over hurdles. Well beaten both outings this season since returning from a near 2-year absence. Easy to look elsewhere. Pulled up in two handicaps this winter (fences/hurdles) and is now 0-24. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
Heavy ground wasn't a barrier to success for OUR BILL'S AUNT when she tenaciously won over a similar trip at Leicester nine days ago and is a logical choice turning out off the same mark. Olivia Kate also appeals after a near-miss over an extended 2m5f at Exeter and should go well despite a 5lb rise. Gentleman Jacques is another to keep an eye on.
OUR BILL'S AUNT was to back to her best when scoring in a conditionals/amateurs event at Leicester last week and escapes a penalty for that win, so is fancied to follow up at the chief expense of Olivia Kate, who got herself right back to form when runner-up at Exeter earlier in the month. Gentleman Jacques can complete the placings in a contest seemingly containing plenty of dead wood.
Olivia Kate can go well but preference is for OUR BILL'S AUNT (nap), who escapes a penalty for her recent win at Leicester.

1st (6) ![]() Pedley Wood |
15/8(+53%) | (6) Pedley Wood 15/8, Started last season over fences with a bang, winning at Hereford (25.2f) and Taunton (26.3f). Back on the scoreboard at this course (20.2f, soft) last month and return to this stiffer test of stamina looks sure to suit. 2m4f-3m2f winner; up 6lb for winning a lesser race last time; heavy might not be ideal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) ![]() Ioupy Collonges |
7/2(-17%) | (3) Ioupy Collonges 7/2, Dual hurdles scorer who got off the mark in this sphere at Perth (20f) in April and added to that success when taking 5-runner handicap chase over C&D (soft, 5/2) 35 days ago, suited by emphasis on stamina. Just 3 lb higher now and addition of cheekpieces looks a good move. It wasn't pretty here last time but he still won and this slower surface can benefit him. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) ![]() Sheldon |
14/1(+13%) | (5) Sheldon 14/1, Dual winner here (both 20.2f) last term who may have needed outing when seventh of 8 in handicap chase at Leicester (20.1f, soft) on return 33 days ago. Yet to prove himself over this longer trip. however. Course winner but vulnerable to stronger stayers at this trip under these conditions. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) ![]() Bill Baxter |
11/2(+0%) | (2) Bill Baxter 11/2, Winner of the Topham at Aintree in 2023. Lost his way over fences subsequently but better signs back hurdling this winter, fifth in 3m Chepstow handicap last month. Got no further than second back over the larger obstacles at Haydock latest, though. Former Topham winner and signs over hurdles this season that he might be coming back. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) ![]() Montgomery |
3/1(+0%) | (4) Montgomery 3/1, Scored 3 times sent chasing for Venetia Williams last term and resumed with a solid fifth in handicap at Sandown (28.7f). May have found race coming too soon when disappointing at Haydock latest and remains of interest. Not sure what happened last time but a strong contender on his previous Sandown fifth. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) ![]() Good Boy Bobby |
9/1(-80%) | (1) Good Boy Bobby 9/1, Back-to-back winner in 3m veterans' handicap chases last season and arrives on back of creditable third of 7 in Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby (24.2f, soft) 35 days ago. Should give another good account. Close up in the Rowland Meyrick and Sam Twiston-Davies replaces a 7lb claimer. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
IOUPY COLLONGES needed every yard of the trip when he got up late to win over this C&D on Boxing Day and is an attractive option bidding to follow up off just 3lb higher in first-time cheekpieces. Pedley Wood was also a game winner over 2m4f on the same card and commands respect back up in trip off 6lb higher. Good Boy Bobby, a gallant third in the Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby, is another with a live chance here.
PEDLEY WOOD proved better than ever when scoring over a shorter trip here last month and remains feasibly treated. He can follow up. Montgomery is much better than he showed at Haydock last time and is feared most.
This will be a thorough test in the conditions and MONTGOMERY has good form over further than this.

1st (4) ![]() Mr Glass |
2/5(+50%) | (4) Mr Glass 2/5, Fairly useful hurdler for Paul Nicholls who was given a considerate introduction over the larger obstacles when second in Exeter handicap (24.2f) in November 2022. Won both his starts in points for new connections last year and remains with potential. Good horse for Paul Nicholls and has won both his points for Will Biddick. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) ![]() Go Sacre Go |
40/1(-150%) | (2) Go Sacre Go 40/1, Fair hurdler for Nicky Henderson and broke his duck in points for current yard in January 2023. Not seen since, though, and market should prove best guide to claims on return/chase debut. Absent for two years since making the breakthrough in points; other options look safer. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) ![]() Quintin's Man |
4/1(+11%) | (1) Quintin's Man 4/1, Multiple point winner who scored twice in hunters last season. Disappointed under Rules the last twice, however, and finished well held on return between the flags. Others more appealing. Beaten 11l by Mr Glass in a point before coming on to win this race 12 months ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) ![]() King Orry |
22/1(+33%) | (3) King Orry 22/1, Placed in a couple of small-field points this season but is winless after 14 attempts under Rules and looks to have plenty on his plate here. The balance of form under rules and in points doesn't look good enough to win this. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (5) ![]() Upton Road |
7/1(-27%) | (5) Upton Road 7/1, Fairly useful chaser who made the frame in 3 of his 6 starts during 2022/23. Not seen for 22 months but he has the assistance of a useful amateur and is worth monitoring in the market. Has stamina to prove over this far and makes his hunter chase debut after a long absence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) ![]() Viva Lavilla |
18/1(-200%) | (6) Viva Lavilla 18/1, Fairly-useful performer under Rules for Dan Skelton who finished well held, back from 13 months off, in point 12 days ago. Entitled to come on from that, however, and not ruled out. Two thirds in points have come after lengthy absences and he was beaten 22l in the latest. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
MR GLASS landed a brace of point-to-point wins shortly after joining Will Biddick last year and this could be a good time to side with this low-mileage nine-year-old. Last year's winner Quintin's Man is a must for consideration in this company, despite having to concede weigh all round. The lightly-raced veteran Upton Road also appeals on his first attempt in a race of this nature.
MR GLASS is in good hands and boasts an unbeaten record in points. Still relatively unexposed, he can make a successful debut in hunters. Upton Road hasn't been seen for some time but may provide the chief threat.
Last year's winner Quintin's Man can run well but he was beaten some 11l by MR GLASS when they last clashed in a point.

2nd (4) ![]() Hill In Brazil |
5/1(+29%) | (4) Hill In Brazil 5/1, Blue Bresil mare. Sister to fair hurdler Thank You Blue, stays 2½m. Highly respected on debut. Sister to 2m1f hurdle winner Thank You Blue and dam hails from the family of Denman. |

3rd (1) ![]() Beauty In The Park |
11/4(+8%) | (1) Beauty In The Park 11/4, €95,000 half-sister to useful hurdler Thirtyfourstitches and fair hurdler Kelly's Birr. 10/3, too green to get seriously involved but showed obvious ability on debut at Warwick in November. Given time and can improve for last year's winning yard. Responded for pressure to finish a near 9l third at Warwick; gets softer ground here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) ![]() Miss Tinkerbell |
10/1(-67%) | (5) Miss Tinkerbell 10/1, Dunaden mare. Dam debut bumper/2m hurdle winner (barely stayed 19f). Wears blinkers. One to note on debut. Immediate fitting of blinkers casts some doubts but she's bred to have a future. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) ![]() Dellahay |
20/1(-100%) | (2) Dellahay 20/1, Not much to go on pedigree wise and she didn't feature at Ffos Las (28/1) on debut a couple of months ago. Others are more persuasive. Travelled deep into the race at Ffos Las but found little for pressure. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (10) ![]() Oracle Park |
11/1(-69%) | (10) Oracle Park 11/1, Frammassone filly. Sister to modest hurdler Cawthorne Cracker and poor chaser Cowboy Cooper. Dam unraced out of useful 2½m-3m hurdle winner Catch Ball. Trainer’s newcomers command respect. Sister to two winning jumpers; 4yo filly getting all the allowances and in a top stable. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) ![]() Adaay Dancing |
100/1(-400%) | (9) Adaay Dancing 100/1, By no means certain to stay the trip on pedigree and gave herself little chance of doing so in any case as she pulled hard and finished well beaten in C&D bumper (100/1) 8 weeks ago. Hood goes on now. Always behind here two months ago when 100-1 and now goes in a hood. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) ![]() That's All Folks |
100/1(0%) | (6) That's All Folks 100/1, Down the field in bumpers 7 months apart and sold from John Joseph Hanlon £9,000 in October. Hood goes on. Down the field in two bumpers for Shark Hanlon whom she left for £9,000; hood added. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
There were enough positives to be gleaned from Beauty In The Park's debut fourth at Warwick in November to suggest that a race of this nature is within her compass. Paul Nicholls' mare sets the standard of those with race experience, but she could prove vulnerable to a newcomer such as THERE RUNS MARY. The daughter of Flemensfirth is a sister to bumper/hurdle scorer She's A Fine Wine and is taken to go well first time up. Fellow debutant Oracle Park must also be considered.
THERE RUNS MARY makes plenty of appeal on paper and might be able to make a successful debut. Beauty In The Park can improve on her debut effort at Warwick, while Hill In Brazil and Oracle Park are also respected first time up.
The Paul Nicholls-trained BEAUTY IN THE PARK can improve on her pleasing debut with today's slower surface likely to suit.

1st (6) ![]() Mustang Betty |
7/1(+56%) | (6) Mustang Betty 7/1, Shaped quite nicely having been a long way back early when third at Warwick on debut in November 2023, but failed to progress 13 months on at Plumpton, proving a real handful both saddling and at the start. Looks vulnerable. Beaten in the region of 10l at Warwick (soft) and Plumpton (good to soft). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) ![]() Fresh As A Daisy |

Dam unraced half-sister to smart chaser (stayed 21f) Easter Meteor. 33/1, promising start when third of 13 in Uttoxeter bumper 4 weeks ago, staying on. Entitled to improve and leading claims. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

22/1(-83%) | (3) Ebarana 22/1, Champs Elysees mare. Dam unraced half-sister to very smart hurdler (stayed 3m) Ebadiyan. Stable can get one ready and she's worth a market check. First foal out of an unraced half-sister to some useful Flat winners (one made a jumper). |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
FRESH AS A DAISY was far from disgraced when finishing fifth on her debut in a Listed affair at Huntingdon and that experience could prove crucial. Nicky Henderson's mare should find this class 3 contest much more to her liking and she rates as the one to beat. The biggest threat is Uttoxeter third Ghina Di Tacco, although market support for either Baby Thyme or Dream County would be interesting.
GHINA DI TACCO made a promising start at Uttoxeter 4 weeks ago and looks the way to go with improvement likely. Fresh As A Daisy likewise shaped well in a listed Huntingdon contest first time up and should progress. Baby Thyme heads up some interesting newcomers.
Nicky Henderson's FRESH AS A DAISY ran okay in a Listed race at Huntingdon won by the talented Supreme Malinas and this looks easier.
Ths is the racecard key.
