12:23 Wincanton Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A half-brother to multiple Grade 1 winner Appreciate It, JOHNNY'S JURY is bred in the purple and he could be primed to strike on debut for leading connections. Trainer Paul Nicholls likes to unleash some smart sorts at this track, and point-to-point winner Just A Rose could be another, while Game Colours looks the pick of those with experience having gone close over C&D last time out. Malinificent and Springtime Legend cannot be ruled out either.

JOHNNY'S JURY makes loads of appeal on paper starting out for a top NH stable and with those boasting previous form not setting the tallest standard, he could be worth siding with to make it first time lucky before market clues. Fellow newcomer Just A Rose is another to note. Malinificent, Game Colours and The Long Point look best of those with previous hurdling experience.

Everything would suggest that British point winner JUST A ROSE is above average. Malinificent is second choice.

12:58 Wincanton Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

I'VE MADEUPMYMIND may still be a maiden through five starts under Rules, but she made a promising hurdles debut last month at Hereford. With plenty of improvement expected on the back of that, Ben Pauling's mare gets the vote ahead of Miss Altea Blue, who disappointed on her stable debut at Newbury in November but should be much more at home in this grade. Future Fortune is another to consider.

Paul Nicholls' French recruit MISS ALTEA BLUE should have learned a lot from her debut fifth on these shores at Newton Abbot and looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to get off the mark. Ben Pauling's I've Madeupmymind has better days ahead of her and appeals as the one to chase the selection home, ahead of Granny Hawkins and Somethingtosomeone.

Miss Altea Blue is feared but there's a strong suspicion that I'VE MADEUPMYMIND has yet to do herself true justice.

13:33 Wincanton Handicap Chase (Class 3) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A taking winner on his chase debut at Taunton in November, form which has worked out very well since, IN D'OR should have much more to come and a 6lb rise could underestimate the son of Nidor. Take Your Time must hold every chance if bouncing back to the form of his penultimate success at Ffos Las, while Livin On Luco is likely to be suited by these conditions.

IN D'OR beat a pair of subsequent winners when making a winning chase bow at Taunton in good style and is preferred to Take Your Time, who is expected to leave his reappearance run well behind.

He's up 6lb and David Maxwell has lost his claim, but there's still every chance that IN D'OR can follow up his Taunton win.

14:05 Wincanton Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Soldier's Leap found only a subsequent winner too good in this grade at Fontwell last month and has to be respected off a 2lb higher rating. However, it may pay to side with OUR DYLAN, who might have been worth more than the winning margin suggests when victorious at Exeter on his latest outing. Kayley Woollacott's nine-year-old can defy a career-high mark to complete a double. Sergeant completes the shortlist.

ST LUKES CHELSEA has improved with each run over hurdles and looks to have got into handicaps on a good mark, so he's an appealing candidate. The bang in-form Our Dylan heads up the opposition, along with Soldier's Leap, whose lightly-raced profile provides hope for better still.

A good few of these have become hard to win with. OUR DYLAN scores highly on the consistency front and deserved his Exeter win.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

NOCTE VOLATUS beat Stormy Flight (tenth) when successful in this grade at Chepstow in October and he is expected to confirm that form, despite being 5lb worse off this time around. Tom Lacey's veteran produced another good display when second in a stronger event than this at Ascot last time and he looks the one to beat. Stormy Flight put in a much better performance to fill the runner-up spot at Exeter latest and is noted. Of the remainder, Quel Destin makes the most appeal.

NOCTE VOLATUS lost out only to a subsequent winner when going for the hat-trick at Ascot and can resume winning ways dipping into veterans company for the first time. Stormy Flight won a similar event at Exeter last season and only just lost out to a progressive youngster there last month, so is the obvious threat, with Le Ligerien best of the others.

Although the hat-trick came up shy at Ascot, NOCTE VOLATUS still ran perfectly well behind one who has since won a big handicap.

15:15 Wincanton Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

KADO DE JOIE has taken a big step forwards in recent months, winning on both starts, and even a 6lb rise for his latest success at Lingfield a month ago may not be enough to stop him here. Authentic Legacy has been running well in defeat of late and has to be of interest in first-time cheekpieces, while any market support for Ninth Loch would have to be noted.

KADO DE JOIE again came from an unpromising position to win comfortably at Lingfield last month and, with the likelihood of further improvement over this still longer trip, he's taken to complete the hat-trick. Authentic Legacy should also have more to offer now upped in distance, with multiple hurdles winner Ninth Loch requiring close market attention on first start for Harry Derham.

This longer trip could make all the difference to the lightly raced AUTHENTIC LEGACY (nap). A steadily run 2m found him out last time.

15:50 Wincanton Handicap Chase (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RONNIES REFLECTION bounced back to form when winning well at Leicester a week ago and the seven-year-old appears to be the safest pick off just a 4lb higher mark. That said, Celtic Fortune hit the crossbar over C&D last time and is likely to be in the mix once again, while The Midwife edges out Inchagoill Lady to be best of the rest.

None of these can be ruled out but the vote goes to Evan Williams' in-form PUDDLESINTHEPARK who has been granted some respite by the official assessor and can now end a losing sequence. The consistent Jukebox D'Eddy and Leicester scorer Ronnies Reflection both enter calculations too in this very open contest.

There could be a big run in PUDDLESINTHEPARK whose latest show at Hereford offered hope that he might be able to exploit his good mark.
