17:10 Tipperary Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The first juvenile maiden hurdle of the season and no jumping form to go on as well as a shortage of worthwhile Flat form. INSPIRE HOPE is one of two in the line-up for Joseph O'Brien and the daughter of Camelot, a half-sister to a Group 1 winner in Australia, ran respectably when sixth in a Curragh maiden over 1m4f last month. This looks a weak contest and affords her a good opportunity if she takes to jumping. Guest Star had plenty of racing at two and ran well on his second start for Mark Fahey when fourth at Ballinrobe last week. Butter Fingers has ran okay in a couple of handicaps in May and both his dam and half-brother were placed over hurdles.

The betting should reveal plenty in a field confined to hurdling newcomers but INSPIRE HOPE appeals as the type who could do well in this sphere for her very good yard and shades the vote before market clues. Stablemate My Mate Tony, I'll Rise and Guest Star are a trio of others to note.

A distinct shortage of worthwhile form. Joseph O'Brien's once-raced filly INSPIRE HOPE inspires more hope than confidence

17:40 Tipperary Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MAKFILS returned from four months off to register a first hurdles victory at Punchestown and the placed horses have done their bit for the form since. Peter Fahey's charge is 8lb higher and into a slightly higher grade but may be able to follow up after getting his head in front for the first time since scoring on the Flat in France as a three-year-old. Katakana was also a winner in France where she landed two bumpers and may be capable of improvement on handicap debut after showing more at Ballinrobe last time. Cash The Cheque represents a yard in form and was given a 5lb hike for winning a course and distance maiden in early May.

This could be a lively betting heat with several open to plenty of progress. KATAKANA showed more over hurdles at Ballinrobe last time and her mark could be lenient given she managed to win twice in French bumpers. Young Lucy is engaged on the level here on Wednesday so that performance may put a different slant on things, with Morepowertoya another to consider.

This looks open but perhaps MAKFILS will be good enough to defy an 8lb rise for a Punchestown win achieved after a break

18:15 Tipperary Conditions Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DADDY LONG LEGS was given a 15lb hike after readily winning a competitive Punchestown festival handicap on spring ground in April. That leaves the Almanzor gelding best in at the weights here and he can land this prize en route to a tilt at the Galway Hurdle. In-foal Minx Tiara had Shecouldbeanything back in third when landing a Listed contest at Killarney before beating Senecia in a handicap at Listowel. A prominent racer, she's in the form of her life at present and should give another good account. No Looking Back showed a bit more sparkle when second at Ballinrobe and is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time.

DADDY LONG LEGS made a mockery of his opening mark to take his hurdles tally to 3 wins from 5 starts on handicap debut at Punchestown in April. That effort marked him down as a potential graded performer and he can take the rise in class in his stride and go in again. Stablemate Winter Fog and thriving Minx Tiara (reportedly in foal) are others to consider in a competitive affair.

Having bolted up in a Listed handicap at the Punchestown festival, DADDY LONG LEGS set a good standard with a revised rating of 150.

18:50 Tipperary Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A point-to-point winner in 2022, MEET MY LORELEY got off the mark on her third start in bumpers at Navan in September. Made favourite for her hurdling debut at Fairyhouse the following month, she fell three out and has been given plenty of time to get over that tumble. Fitness is not a concern for the daughter of Mustamneet whose trainer is well capable of having one ready after a layoff. Secrecies Of Stone has been placed in three of his five starts over hurdles and chased home a horse who is now rated 120 at Clonmel in May. Dorans Law has been running creditably in handicaps and may be suited by dropping back to this trip.

DIVILSKIN was holding his form well in points and took a marked step back in the right direction back under Rules when third at Downpatrick 18 days ago, just failing having lost several lengths approaching the last. He's selected to confirm the promise of that run and strike, with the returning Meet My Loreley and Secrecies of Stone heading up the dangers. Dorans Law also makes each-way appeal.

Point and bumper winner MEET MY LORELEY has been given plenty of time to get over a fall on hurdling debut and fitness is not a concern

19:25 Tipperary Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A maiden winner at this course on last summer's hurdling debut, SPINNING WEB twice ran creditably on the Flat in May and should be suited by stepping up in trip for his handicap debut. He's been getting caught for pace on the level but stays well and and 2m4f will bring his stamina into play. Quest With Speed was an excellent second in a valuable handicap at the Punchestown festival when first-time blinkers were employed and will be in the mix if that headgear has the desired effect again. Karacole showed promise in maidens and was a staying-on second on her first foray into handicap company at Clonmel. She will be suited by the extra half-mile here.

Lots with chances but Joseph O'Brien's HARLEY STREET has got in lightly for his first venture into handicap company after an absence so gets the vote at the chief expense of fellow handicap debutant Spinning Web, who also looks to have better days ahead of him. Routine Excellence, Quest With Speed and Henning are others to consider in this open handicap.

Competitive and SPINNING WEB is only a tentative selection but he's been in good form on the level and this step up in trip should suit

20:00 Tipperary Handicap Hurdle 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

It might be worth taking a chance on handicap debutant SHANLAYLIN in this very competitive affair. A sister to a whole host of winners, the six-year-old has shown snippets of ability in her eight starts to date and steps up in trip to three miles for the first time, with Danny Mullins a significant jockey booking. Moyvilla Lass was a never-nearer second at Kilbeggan recently and will be well fancied to go a place better, while Annie Questions is another leading hope after she filled the runner-up spot on her handicap debut at Listowel. A case can be made for many others, with top-weight True Or False, three-time winner Tullyhogue Fort and the Eric McNamara-trained Meehall all leading contenders.

TULLYHOGUE FORT went close off a similar mark on his latest start in this sphere at Galway in September and was a good third off 4 lb higher over fences at Limerick in May. He gets the nod ahead of Roman Parish and Arthor. Moyvilla Lass and True Or False are others with claims in an open-looking contest.

Wide open but ANNIE QUESTIONS made a good start in handicap company when second over a similar trip at Listowel and can go one better

20:30 Tipperary NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

There is not much form to go on here, with no less than 10 debutants set to line-up. By virtue of her impressive point-to-point success at Ballingarry in May, THE GREAT NUDIE is the selection. She readily dismissed 14 rivals at the Tipperary circuit and subsequently went unsold at 145,000 euros when offered for sale at Tattersalls. There was just a length-and-a-quarter between Pure Logic and Alpha Zeta when they finished second and third at Listowel last month. The latter is better off at the weights now and might be able to reverse the form. Of the newcomers, Music Of Life and Quite Spicy are of definite interest. The Edward O'Grady-trained former is a sister to Grade 2 winner Nick Rockett, while the latter is in the care of the shrewd Richard O'Brien.

THE GREAT NUDIE represents shrewd connections and won her only start between the flags, so she's worth a chance to follow up on her first go under Rules. Pure Logic and Alpha Zeta were second and third respectively at Listowel on debut and both could do better, so they're obvious players.

This looks to have very little depth to it. PURE LOGIC gave a Willie Mullins-trained favourite something to think about at Listowel.
