LTO Selection:

17:10 Tipperary Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The annual guessing game in the first juvenile hurdle of the season with no jumping form to go on. DOCTOR NIGHTINGALE was placed in a 7f maiden at Gowran in May and the winner has been third in a couple of Listed races since. The half-sister to winning hurdler Doctor Churchill again ran respectably in a decent maiden when returning to Gowran last time and is sure to be well schooled. Spinning Web made a bit of late headway on seasonal and handicap debut at Gowran last month and merits consideration for a predominantly jumping yard. Show No Fear has been placed in a couple of middle-distance handicaps and is a half-brother to Flat winner and fair maiden hurdler San Martino.

No hurdling form to go on but DOCTOR NIGHTINGALE has shown some fair form on the Flat and hails from a top yard so is taken to emerge on top. Both Show No Fear and Bedelia have also displayed a fair level of ability on the level and appeal as the duo to chase home Gordon Elliott's daughter of Make Believe in that order.

The one to beat is the Gordon Elliott-trained DOCTOR NIGHTINGALE after two good runs in Gowran maidens. She is sure to be well schooled

LTO Selection:

17:40 Tipperary Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

An expensive purchase after winning a point-to-point on debut, CALL HER NOW came back from a year off to win on her third hurdles start at Listowel last month. Out of a half-sister to Denman, she made all on that occasion and may be able to capitalise on an opening mark of 105. Big Island has won twice on the Flat and scored over hurdles at Galway in September. He ran well on the level at Limerick in the spring and wasn't beaten far when fourth on his latest start in this sphere at Punchestown. Frontline Worker was third on her first start of the year at Tramore and may be able to turn around form with the runner-up, Craic Eile, who has since been well beaten at Downpatrick.

CALL HER NOW looks to start life in handicaps off an attractive mark so is fancied to follow up her recent Listowel success at the chief expense of Punchestown fourth Big Island who is also weighted to have a say. In-form pair Betty Dutton and Frontline Worker appeal as the pick of the remainder for minor honours.

The answer could be the unexposed CALL HER NOW(nap) who made light of a 12 month absence to win a mares maiden at Listowel last month

LTO Selection:

18:15 Tipperary Conditions Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHARJAH is probably on the wane to some extent and hasn't won since landing the Grade 1 Matheson Hurdle for the fourth year running at Leopardstown in 2021. He's still hard to ignore in this company, though, after chasing home Constitution Hill at Aintree in April which was on the back of a fine fourth under a hefty burden in the County Hurdle. Sole Pretender has won and finished runner-up in this and ran a cracker over fences in the Mayo National at Ballinrobe in May. He takes a big drop in trip but still merits respect. Fils d'Oudairies had the benefit of Danny Gilligan's claim when beating Cash Back at Ballinrobe and the latter may fare the better of the pair on this occasion with a nice pull at the weights.

Willie Mullins's very smart SHARJAH is favoured by these weights so is very hard to oppose despite a rare below-par effort when fourth in the Punchestown Champion Hurdle last time. 2021 victor Sole Pretender appeals most of the rest with Ballinrobe runner-up Cash Back and C&D winner Shanroe set to fight it out for minor honours.

Perhaps the answer is CASH BACK, who can turn Ballinrobe tables with Fils D'Oudairies on these terms on this more conventional track

LTO Selection:

18:50 Tipperary Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

THE BIG DOYEN has been disappointing on his last two outings but the 125-rated gelding has been found a very winnable maiden as he steps up in trip. The dual bumper winner lost a maiden hurdle in the stewards' room at Punchestown in November before chasing home the useful Doctor Bravo at Down Royal. It will be surprising if he can't avail of this gilt-edged opportunity. Woodie Wango ran a nice race on his second start over hurdles when fifth at Punchestown and has a good chance of minor honours. In For The Night has run two fair races at Ballinrobe and is another who can contend for a podium finish.

THE BIG DOYEN's form is far in advance of what's been achieved by others and he's likely to shed his maiden tag after a break. Woodie Wang is best of the others in terms of ratings and winning pointer Gentle And Kind is an interesting Rules newcomer if able to take her chance (reserve at the time of writing).

He's spurned some opportunities in the past but THE BIG DOYEN will never get one as good as this and should be far too good

LTO Selection:

19:25 Tipperary Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Matt Smith has his string in fine form and MOONOVERCLOON can add to the stable gains under the trainer's brother, James. The latter guided the six-year-old to a decisive success on his first start of the year at Downpatrick and this trip won't hold any fears for Sea Moon gelding who won a bumper over 2m3f. Rebel Rose was another to return from a long absence when a well-backed winner over 2m4f at Roscommon. She got an 8lb hike for that but is open to more improvement. Ossifer Hops beat a subsequent winner at Downpatrick and there was little wrong with his second on handicap debut at Down Royal. Raised 3lb for that, he's another for the shortlist with the recently-returned Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

Having opened his account in May, OSSIFER HOPS found improvement when second at Down Royal a month ago and he's likely to strike again before long, so he gets the nod over last-time-out winner Moonoverclover. Rebel Rose is another one to consider.

Last time out handicap winners Rebel Rose and MOONOVERCLOON are both open to more progression and preference is for the latter

LTO Selection:

20:00 Tipperary Handicap Hurdle 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Point-to-point winner TUFF DAYS ran well twice in the space of six days in late May/early June and can register a first success under Rules. Third over 2m6f at Ballinrobe, he got this trip well when finding only one too good at Kilbeggan and JJ Slevin retains the partnership on the son of Ask. Flemensreva has improved since stepping up to this trip and was placed for the second time at Kilbeggan when just a couple of lengths behind the selection there a month ago. She's 1lb better off and there is unlikely to be much between the pair. Top-weight Emily In Paris is another to have run well over 3m at Kilbeggan and is only 2lb higher than when runner-up at the midlands venue last time. Misstheamaria showed a bit more in a maiden at Punchestown last month and is one to keep an eye on with this longer trip likely to suit on handicap debut.

Preference is for DUFFYS GETAWAY, who will appreciate the step back up in trip and remains on a fair mark. Brehon Star and Tuff Days head the list of dangers in a very open race.

Maybe TUFF DAYS can confirm Kilbeggan form with Flemensreva and gain a first win under rules; topweight \bEmily in Paris\ is noted

20:30 Tipperary NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CROOKED TANNIE showed significant improvement to come in third on his second start at Roscommon in June. He represents a trainer, Cian Collins, who is making a name for himself and Patrick Mullins is a highly significant jockey booking. Master Otis is the most experienced horse in the field and has been far from outclassed in his four races. He tends to race prominently and connections will see this as a good opportunity for him to get off the mark. Newcomer Lake Manzaleh is a Godolphin cast-off with a quality Flat pedigree. A bumper wouldn't have been in mind for him, but he is well worth a market check. John McConnell and Alex Harvey are well capable of teaming up with a winner, so Talk Show Host could show up well on her debut. Other newcomers with winners in their pedigrees are Marksetgo and Let Them At It.

CROOKED TANNIE stepped up from his debut form when third at Roscommon last month and may have more to offer yet. He gets the nod in the finale. Master Otis and Bigira can also make their presence felt.

Having shown a fair level of form in four bumper starts, MASTER OTIS is taken to see off Crooked Tannie and Juniper Hill
