LTO Selection:

14:10 Sandown Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Just Glamorous returned from a long break to make all at Salisbury and the veteran is only asked to compete off a 3lb higher mark for that display, but he could give way to the younger legs of LIBRA TIGER. The son of Territories has shaped like his time is near when filling the runner-up spot on each of his last three starts, with the latest of those coming at Newbury when he had Symbol of Hope (third) just over a length behind him, so he may be ready to strike off just 1lb higher.

None of these can be ruled out but C&D scorer JUST GLAMOROUS returned from an absence in style at Salisbury and can defy a 3 lb rise in the weights. Libra Tiger is knocking on the door and seems sure to be in the mix once more, with Sera Dawn another who can have a say in her bid for a third success of 2023.

An open race but hardy veteran JUST GLAMOROUS may well follow up his Salisbury win on a track where he's won and gone well in the past.

LTO Selection:

14:40 Sandown Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Arabian Crown was a massive eye-catcher over C&D on his debut when narrowly failing to justify favouritism and, with normal progression, he is likely to be bang there. However, a chance can be taken on newcomer CITY BURGLAR, who is bred to get better over time but she could have enough class to score over this distance first time out. She has a fantastic pedigree as a daughter of Cracksman and a full-sister to Arabian Queen. Reliant warrants a market check as a half-brother to Mishriff.

ARABIAN CROWN's superb pedigree is an ongoing recommendation and, sure to have derived plenty from his opening third over C&D 3 weeks ago, he could be the way to go. Juantorena is an obvious danger of form while there's a plethora of interesting newcomers to consider, notably Reliant and Highland Spring.

The late gains made by ARABIAN CROWN over C&D earn the vote. Juantorena has a similar RPR. Reliant is half-brother to Mishriff.

LTO Selection:

15:15 Sandown Listed (Class 1) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

SOPRANO sets a pretty lofty standard in this contest after her third in the Albany at Royal Ascot and that race is working out extremely well, with the second and fourth subsequently winning Group 2 contests. The daughter of Starspangledbanner could also improve for the step up in distance and she is very hard to oppose. Fallen Angel scored on debut at Haydock and is likely to progress to fight it out for the places, along with Expensive Queen.

SOPRANO backed up her impressive winning debut at Newmarket with a useful third in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and sets a high standard down in class. Shuwari and Fallen Angel both looked good prospects when scoring first-time out at Newbury and Haydock respectively so are feared most.

The standard set by SOPRANO is high thanks to her Group 3 third at Royal Ascot and that performance also suggests she will stay 7f.

15:50 Sandown Handicap (Class 3) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

NOTHING TO SEA has a likeable, progressive profile and he had a subsequent easy winner toiling back in third when winning his maiden over 1m2f at Newbury in May. The See The Moon gelding could improve again now upped half a mile in trip and an opening handicap mark of 91 looks workable. He can see off the likes of Hidden Story, who was a shade disappointing when sent off favourite at Newmarket recently, and Sir Mark Prescott's Brave Knight.

Off the mark in novice company at Newcastle 2 starts back, HIDDEN STORY ran to a similar level when finishing a close-up fourth on handicap debut at Newmarket (12f) earlier this month and, with this even longer trip expected to be within range, he shades the vote to come out on top. Nothing To Sea, on handicap bow, and Brave Knight head the dangers.

Hidden Story looks a solid option but it's also possible to be swayed by NOTHING TO SEA's front-running win in May.

Some fairly in-and-out performers, including last-time-out winners Sweet Reward and Croeso Cymraeg, make this a tricky puzzle to try and solve. BOTAS has hit the frame on both of his starts since joining the Jim Boyle yard, each over 1m. The Footstepsinthesand gelding kept on well at Ascot last time, taking second late on, so this longer trip could unlock some improvement. Others to note include Paris Lights and Tuxedo Junction, who sports cheekpieces for the first time.

FLYAWAYDREAM is a consistent performer and looks worth siding with now upped in trip. Sweet Reward and Croeso Cymraeg head the list of dangers.

This looks a tough puzzle but SWEET REWARD's two big runs at other tracks among his last three starts require plenty of respect.

(9) Surrey Belle 2.75/1, Settled better and produced comfortably her best effort to date when runner-up in a handicap at Ffos Las earlier this month, staying on after conceding first run. More to come and looks the one to beat.
Didn't get the best of runs over 1f out when second of six at Ffos Las (1m2f, good) latest.

(8) Kamanika 2/1, Has held her form well so far this term and gained another deserved success at Leicester 28 days ago. Should give another good account.
More exposed than the rest but has also shown she can win, including last time out.

(4) Showy 5.5/1, Best effort to date when fourth in a maiden at Windsor 3 weeks ago and didn't have a hard time. Enters handicaps with potential and can't be ruled out.
Fourth in 1m2f maiden at Windsor; handicap debut and could be open to further progress.

(6) Lowick 28/1, Has only hinted at ability to date and opening mark demands a lot more.
Promise on debut; something amiss both runs since, the bit slipping on first occasion.
LTO Selection:

16:55 Sandown Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KAMANIKA edged out a subsequent dual winner at Leicester four weeks ago and a 2lb rise for that effort looks lenient. With plenty of question marks surrounding the others, this experienced, and in-form, filly looks the most solid option. Cutting back in distance looks set to suit Prosecco, who interestingly has William Buick aboard, while Showy and Loughville are both interesting handicap newcomers.

SURREY BELLE looked ahead of her opening mark when runner-up at Ffos Las 23 days ago and she's taken to prove the point. Kamanika is an obvious danger on the back of her success at Leicester and both Loughville and Showy appeal as interesting handicap debutantes.

Seasonal and handicap debutante LOUGHVILLE (nap) gets the vote. Surrey Belle and Kamanika look most solid among the rest.
