LTO Selection:

14:25 Ripon Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

JERSEY ROCS showed plenty of promise when second behind a subsequent winner on his racecourse debut here recently and he ought to go very well with the benefit of that experience. The main danger is likely to be Townsend Manor after his Windsor third last month, while Veiled Illusion could find some improvement if he manages to settle better on only his second start.

JERSEY ROCS is bred to be useful, and with above-average improvement from his debut anticipated, he looks the way to go. Townsend Manor and There's No Limit head the opposition.

Having bumped into a useful, experienced winner when runner-up over C&D on his debut, JERSEY ROCS is the pick on his second start.

LTO Selection:

15:00 Ripon Maiden (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It's hard to get away from EXPOSED, who represents the in-form William Haggas yard and she sets the standard for the others to aim at with a rating of 73. The three-year-old has hit the crossbar the last twice and she could improve for the step up in trip, which makes her difficult to oppose. Sindri can give the selection the most to think about after her respectable third at Yarmouth, while Lukla looks best of the rest.

This looks a match between SINDRI and Exposed with marginal preference for the Michael Bell filly given she has a fitness edge and remains open to progress.

This should be between the two 3yo fillies. EXPOSED has been absent since last July but showed promise last season and is in top hands.

Very impressive over C&D on debut; hasn't kicked on but still posted a Listed third latest.
LTO Selection:

15:35 Ripon Listed (Class 1) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Shagraan (second) had Asadna (third) behind on his penultimate outing at Newbury and he can confirm that form here. However, preference is for the highly-progressive SEVEN QUESTIONS, as he defied a mark of 88 on his nursery bow in comfortable fashion at Leicester last time. The son of Kodiac could take another step forward and make it four wins from his last four starts. Task Force won nicely on his debut at Salisbury and is also considered.

SEVEN QUESTIONS and Task Force are the ones to focus on, both looking very promising sprinters, with George Scott's charge fancied to make it 4 wins in a row. Shagraan could be dangerous, while Asadna, visibly so impressive here on debut, suddenly has a bit to prove.

Easy Salisbury maiden winner TASK FORCE has an excellent pedigree and this exciting colt can take the rise in grade in his stride.

LTO Selection:

16:10 Ripon Handicap (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Isla Kai has claims on his third in a valuable 7f handicap at Newbury last time, but it could pay to concentrate on the hat-trick seeking duo of KATHAB and Another Batt. Both began their winning runs over this C&D and are progressive, but the William Haggas-trained gelding's form on a better surface tips the balance in his favour. He powered home to win well at Haydock and a 6lb rise may not be enough to halt him.

KATHAB is a progressive 3yo and he had a bit to spare when winning a Haydock handicap at the expense of Diamondonthehill, who is worthy of respect on better terms with the selection. Isla Kai is also of interest.

The unexposed 3yo KATHAB made it two wins in a row when scoring on his handicap debut at Haydock and he can land the hat-trick.

LTO Selection:

16:45 Ripon Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Despite not looking entirely at home on the idiosyncrasies of Brighton, CRYPTOS DREAM ran out facile winner over this trip a week ago and the decision to turn her out again quickly under a 5lb penalty looks a wise move. Dr Rio only found one too good when bidding for a double over the extended 7f at Beverley off this mark and he should give it a good go under top weight, while a recent silver medal over C&D off 3lb lower brings Mac Ailey into the equation.

CRYPTOS DREAM isn't long with her current yard and she cleared away in taking style at Brighton a week ago, so she's worth a chance to go in again. Dr Rio arrives in top form and looks an obvious danger, while another solid showing from Mac Ailey is on the cards.

Clear preference is for CRYPTOS DREAM (nap), who won with something to spare at Brighton last Monday and can defy a 5lb penalty.

LTO Selection:

17:15 Ripon Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A big run from Mac Alley in the 4.45 here today would boost the claims of LITTLE TED, who had that rival back in second when recording a third C&D victory in style nine days ago and Tim Easterby looks to have found his in-form gelding a good opportunity to defy a 5lb rise. The main threat appears to be Dogged, who was far from disgraced in third when bidding for a 1m2f hat-trick at Pontefract and has been dropped 1lb for that effort. Billy Roberts can pick up the bronze medal.

DOGGED is a likeable type who might well get his own way on the front end, so he's a confident choice in a thin race. Recent course winner Little Ted is an obvious danger and Billy Roberts is becoming well treated.

Dogged arrives in good form but so does LITTLE TED, who is taken to post his fourth course win having scored here last time.
