12:15 Redcar Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Lord Capulet makes plenty of appeal on paper as a half-brother to the brilliant Rosallion and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him play a key role in proceedings. However, the vote goes to BINHAREER, who stepped forward from his debut to score over C&D in similar conditions and William Haggas' colt is taken to defy a 7lb penalty. Magellan Cloud is capable of a decent showing dropping back from a mile following his third at York.

BINHAREER duly stepped up on his fairly encouraging debut display when landing a C&D novice in ready fashion last month and, with the promise of better to come from this Dark Angel colt, he is taken to follow up. Magellan Cloud appears to be going the right way judged on his fine third in a York maiden and he is feared most ahead of newcomers Lord Capulet and Noble Force. El Pinto didn't shape at all badly on debut at Doncaster and he also warrants a mention.

Dark Angel colt BINHAREER was a convincing C&D winner last month and might be good enough to overcome his penalty.

12:50 Redcar Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SAY WHAT YOU SEE made an impressive nursery bow at Newcastle last Friday when storming clear to win by eight lengths. The handicapper will undoubtedly give the son of Belardo a hefty rise for that success so a 6lb penalty doesn't seem likely to stop him from backing it up. Law Degree outran his odds when third at Doncaster on his latest start and he has to enter the reckoning, along with Aye Up Lass.

Having stormed home on his nursery debut at Newcastle at the end of last week, SAY WHAT YOU SEE will prove a tough nut to crack if able to translate that improvement back to turf (the fact that he shaped well in a C&D novice under similar conditions to those forecast augurs well in that respect). Law Degree looks a big danger on the back of his solid third in a Class 3 nursery at Doncaster, while Aye Up Lass is also likely to make her presence felt.

The in-form SAY WHAT YOU SEE looks the one to be with carrying a 6lb penalty for an easy win on Friday.

13:25 Redcar Handicap (Class 5) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KING'S SCHOLAR got off the mark when tackling 1m4f for the first time at Catterick last week and Ed Walker's gelding appears capable of further improvement, with the extra couple of furlongs unlikely to be an issue. Kitsune Power's best recent form has come on turf and the five-year-old is worth plenty of thought. Others to consider include Gastronomy and Red Derek.

KING'S SCHOLAR relished the step up to 1½m when opening his account under testing conditions at Catterick last week and, with the potential for better still now faced with an even stiffer test, he will take plenty of stopping under a penalty. Red Derek looks pretty solid in the context of this race and he is second choice ahead of Kitsune Power.

This is best left to KING'S SCHOLAR (nap), whose soft-ground win at Catterick came in a manner suggesting this longer trip would suit.

14:00 Redcar Handicap (Class 3) 10f  Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

HAVE SECRET was far from disgraced when a running-on fifth in a hot York handicap before posting a low-key effort in a similarly strong race at Doncaster. With his sights lowered off what looks a more-than-manageable mark, Richard Fahey's charge gets the vote to return to winning ways. Loyal Touch merits respect on the strength of his victory over this trip at Pontefract in September, although he needs to leave a subsequent lacklustre display behind. A 3lb rise doesn't discount recent C&D runner-up Liberty Coach.

It could be worth chancing HAVE SECRET, who has spent the majority of the last two seasons contesting strong Class 2 handicaps and he has dipped to a potentially handy mark. Bust A Move hasn't had his conditions the last twice but there will be no excuses in that regard here and he is feared most ahead of the in-form Liberty Coach.

Have Secret is respected but LIBERTY COACH still has potential despite racing off a 3lb higher mark than his defeat here last time.

14:34 Redcar Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BELSITO lost little in defeat when only finding one rival too good as favourite over track and trip last week and, off an unchanged mark, he looks well capable of going one place better. Eldeyaar did it well when scoring at Ripon and, with excuses for a subsequent subdued effort at Southwell, he looks the main danger to the selection. Thornaby Pearl is respected most out of the remainder.

If Kevin Ryan's BELLISTO is in the same form as when runner-up here last Monday he may be able to go one better from the same mark. Tim Easterby pair Glendown and Canaria Queen may give him most to think about.

Belsito can be dangerous but a chance is taken that BLUE JAY WAY can repeat his good show under these conditions last week.

15:09 Redcar Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having been far from disgraced when third in a class 4 event at Catterick, RED MIRAGE looks primed for a big run dropped into class 5 company. A 1lb lower mark should also help the six-year-old and a seventh career victory beckons. The biggest threat may be posed by Ey Up Its Jazz, who arrives on the back of a respectable second at Doncaster. Pals Battalion and Temper Trap are also noted.

TEMPER TRAP is ending the season in fine form and might be able to land a second C&D success of the autumn. Ey Up Its Jazz and Pals Battalion rate obvious dangers, while Cavallo Pazzo needs monitoring in the betting with the tongue strap back on for the first time since joining Daragh Bourke.

The solid option looks to be TEMPER TRAP, who is proven over C&D, relishes some cut in the ground and is on a competitive mark.

15:44 Redcar Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Rwenearlytheredad scored with enough in hand at Catterick recently to suggest that a 5lb penalty won't prevent another bold bid. However, fellow last-time-out winner GLASTONBURY looks open to more improvement and, off a 3lb higher mark, James Fanshawe's three-year-old shades the verdict. Penalised Leicester claimer scorer Nights Over Egypt arrives in good heart and he shouldn't be far away if coping with a quick turnaround.

James Fanshawe-trained 3-y-o GLASTONBURY should have more to offer on the back of his Yarmouth success and can defy a 3 lb rise under Kaiya Fraser. Last week's Catterick scorer Rwenearlytheredad can give him most to do ahead of in-form veteran Anif.

Preference is for ALFIE BOY, who was placed in higher-grade company when recently upped to 1m and remains well handicapped.
