14:10 Plumpton (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WALKS LIKE THE MAN won over C&D in February but was unable to follow up at Sandown next time, having been sent off as favourite. The seven-year-old is expected to bounce back eased in class, although recent Hereford scorer The Dream Goes On switches her attentions to fences for the first time and may well provide strong resistance. Brother Boris can chase the pair home.

C&D winner WALKS LIKE THE MAN returns here after running well in a much stronger race than this at Sandown last month and gets the nod.

14:45 Plumpton (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Eliza Dolittle hasn't been able to build on December's C&D triumph, but she is just 1lb above that winning mark now and must be respected in a race of this nature. A chance can be taken on MELLERAY HILL, who might not have shown a great deal in novice/maiden company but it would come as no surprise were she to step forward now sent handicapping. Time For Tea is also noted.

A tentative vote goes to TIME FOR TEA who ran an encouraging race last time out and had previously shown promise in Ireland.

15:20 Plumpton (Class 4) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Anthony Honeyball and Rex Dingle have been amongst the winners lately and Public Enemy, who shaped with promise on his UK/stable debut in February, must feature prominently in calculations. Wild Goose has shown ability in a couple of bumpers but it is GOD OF FIRE who shades preference. Officially rated 85 on the level, he will be difficult to beat if taking to this new discipline. He's a half-brother to a hurdles winner.

Bohemian Breeze and God Of Fire are respected on their Flat exploits but PUBLIC ENEMY can progress from a promising hurdle debut

15:52 Plumpton (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DESPEREAUX found only a subsequent winner too strong over C&D last month and compensation could be on the cards. A 3lb higher mark looks fair for Jane Williams' six-year-old and he can confirm his superiority over the reopposing third Warranty. The Authorized gelding isn't taken lightly on 4lb better terms with the selection, while Shared isn't easily dismissed in this heat either.

This can go to DESPEREAUX (nap) who has turned a corner since the cheekpieces went on and he appeals as the most solid option.

16:27 Plumpton (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having finished second at Sedgefield on Thursday, Tara Iti must enter calculations racing off an unchanged mark. However, those exertions may have left their mark and preference is for ARENAS DEL TIEMPO. The daughter of Footstepsinthesand offered plenty of encouragement when runner-up at Fakenham last month and she's open to improvement on just her fifth appearance in this sphere. Hardy Buck is the pick of the remainder.

Arenas Del Tiempo has possibilities in only her second handicap but TARA ITI has had excuses since his comfortable Huntingdon win.

17:02 Plumpton (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

There was plenty of encouragement to be taken from AJ'S DIAMOND's debut second at Warwick 44 days ago and she sets a good standard. Nicky Henderson has a fine record with his bumper horses at this venue (5-13), so Rules debutant Girlfromtheglen merits respect. Jack N Jones is well bred and the six-year-old warrants a check in the market for a shrewd yard.

The winner didn't exactly frank the form at Aintree on Thursday but AJ'S DIAMOND shaped with significant promise at Warwick.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
