1st (9) (8/1 +20%) Yellow Car |
8/1(+20%) | (9) Yellow Car 8/1, £6,000 3-y-o, Malinas gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler Present Road. Winning pointer, unseated rider last time (May 27). Makes Rules debut and market should point the way. 1-3 in points and makes some appeal on hurdle debut, especially if strong in the market.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (6) (16/1 +20%) Full Monty |
16/1(+20%) | (6) Full Monty 16/1, Regressive from first run to second in bumpers and made a discouraging debut in this sphere at Warwick in May. Has only shown a modest level of form so far; needs to improve for this longer trip.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (1) (9/4 +10%) A Definite Getaway |
9/4(+10%) | (1) A Definite Getaway 9/4, Fair hurdler who returned to form with a tongue strap added when creditable second of 8 in a Market Rasen maiden (23.1f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Every chance of going one better with a repeat. Big player if building on a back-to-form second behind a warm favourite latest.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (33/1 -230%) All Night Parking |
33/1(-230%) | (2) All Night Parking 33/1, Dual point winner who shaped with some encouragement when fourth of 11 in a C&D novice on NH debut 10 days ago. Work to do to reverse form with Eileen's Milan, however. Two point wins; encouraging fourth on last month's C&D hurdle debut; could play a part.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (8) (150/1 -3233%) Top Man Tom |
150/1(-3233%) | (8) Top Man Tom 150/1, £7,000 4-y-o, Ask gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdle winner/smart chaser (winner up to 21f) Little Josh. Winning pointer, third last time (May 4), but it is a little concerning cheekpieces are already applied for Rules debut. 3m point winner; needs to improve but interesting on hurdle/stable debut for Ben Pauling.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (400/1 -300%) Lion's Vigil |
400/1(-300%) | (7) Lion's Vigil 400/1, Poor maiden who is easily passed over on these terms. Needs more at these weights if he's to gain his first win over hurdles back in a maiden.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (350/1 -5733%) Corporal Jackjones |
350/1(-5733%) | (4) Corporal Jackjones 350/1, Landed a couple of small-field bumpers last summer before finishing second on Worcester hurdle debut last autumn. Disappointing next 2 outings but was given a considerate return from a 6-month break at Chepstow in April. Tongue strap back on and needs considering. Dual bumper winner around here last June but yet to really fire over hurdles.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (350/1 -19900%) Eileen's Milan |
350/1(-19900%) | (5) Eileen's Milan 350/1, Left previous efforts behind when second of 11 in a C&D novice (good) 10 days ago and may do better still in a first-time tongue strap. Much-improved display when runner-up over C&D ten days ago; tongue-tie added. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (10) (200/1 -203%) Share A Moment |
200/1(-203%) | (10) Share A Moment 200/1, Well held all 3 starts over hurdles for M. Hourigan. Winning pointer since but was unplaced last time (Jun 2). Looks best watched. Fast-ground point winner but that form doesn't look strong enough for this. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (3) (400/1 -900%) Come Dancing |
400/1(-900%) | (3) Come Dancing 400/1, Just poor form over hurdles and looks up against it returning from 23 months off. Capable but best watched returning from a 715-day absence.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
EILEEN'S MILAN bumped into an in-form rival when staying on strongly to finish second over C&D last month and, with a tongue-tie applied for the first time, he gets the vote to go one better. Full Monty was last seen finishing down the field in a warm Warwick maiden over 2m3f in May and better can be expected here, while A Definite Getaway pulled clear of the third when finishing runner-up over 2m7f at Market Rasen latest.
EILEEN'S MILAN left his previous efforts behind when second over C&D 10 days ago and, with his pedigree pointing towards further improvement, he's preferred to the more exposed A Definite Getaway. Dual-bumper winner Corporal Jackjones can also have a big say if returning to something like his hurdling debut form.
Eileen's Milan is feared but DEFINITE GETAWAY returned to form behind a warm favourite latest and is marginally preferred.

1st (3) (13/2 +0%) Feel The Pinch |
13/2(+0%) | (3) Feel The Pinch 13/2, Prolific since joining Robbie Llewellyn, gaining a fifth win for the yard in a handicap chase at Ludlow in November, and confirmed his return to form when second of 9 in handicap hurdle at Bangor (16.7f) 27 days ago. Winner has gone in again since, and he's much respected off same mark. Won five times in 2023 and returned from break with two Bangor seconds this spring. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (9/1 -100%) Finest View |
9/1(-100%) | (2) Finest View 9/1, Capitalised on a reduced mark on her second start back with Alan King at Stratford (16.3f, good to soft) in April. Found only the resurgent Collingham too good at Bangor subsequently and remains of interest. Not as good as she was but recent efforts make her of strong interest here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (10/3 -104%) Jumeirah King |
10/3(-104%) | (6) Jumeirah King 10/3, A fairly useful maiden on the Flat who opened his account with a much-improved display in 10-runner maiden hurdle at Worcester (16f, good) 9 days ago, eased down. Looks very well-in under a penalty switching to a handicap. Won Worcester maiden nine days ago and is 5lb well in under a penalty here; big player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (4) (18/1 +45%) Manor Park |
18/1(+45%) | (4) Manor Park 18/1, 3-time C&D winner who is operating below best at present, only fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Stratford (16.3f, good to soft, 33/1) 17 days ago. Visor on for 1st time. Three-time C&D winner; not quite at best this year; headgear switch today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (25/1 -525%) Melton Mossy |
25/1(-525%) | (7) Melton Mossy 25/1, Made a winning handicap debut over 2m at Ffos Las for Laura Horsfall in May and followed up in similarly ready fashion at Worcester on first start for Evan Willims. 6 lb out of the weights here but appeals as the sort to go on improving. 2-2 in handicaps; 6lb wrong today but seems to be making rapid improvement. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (1) (40/1 -700%) Carrigeen Kampala |
40/1(-700%) | (1) Carrigeen Kampala 40/1, Confirmed the promise of her reappearance when winning 9-runner handicap hurdle (8/1) at this course (18.5f, good) 21 days ago, readily. Steps back into open company from a 6 lb higher mark, so more will be required. Won quite comfortably over 2m2f here three weeks ago and now 5-8 over hurdles; respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (5) (150/1 -1400%) Komedy Kicks |
150/1(-1400%) | (5) Komedy Kicks 150/1, Fair maiden on Flat and showed similar form when landing a Worcester maiden and a Stratford novice last summer. Ran respectably when second of 4 in a weak mares handicap at this course on final outing 12 months ago. Has left Milton Harris. Absent since small-field C&D second 13 months ago; 4lb lower for stable debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.
Jumeirah King must enter calculations on the back of a decisive victory over 2m at Worcester last month, but he may struggle to concede weight to MELTON MOSSY. Evan Williams' charge scored with the minimum of fuss over the same C&D recently, and this upwardly mobile five-year-old can shrug off a 13lb hike in the handicap. A 6lb rise for a recent course success isn't out of range for Carrigeen Kampala and she also merits consideration.
A good race for the grade/time of year but it is hard to get away from JUMEIRAH KING, who quickened clear in quite impressive fashion under a hands-and-heels ride at Worcester 9 days ago and looks very well-in under a penalty switching to a handicap. Hat-trick seeker Melton Mossy looks the type to go on improving despite racing from 6 lb out of the weights, with in-form pair Feel The Pinch and Finest View others to take seriously.
Preference is for fast-improving 5yo MELTON MOSSY (nap), who appeared to have quite a lot left in the tank at Worcester last month.

Theonlywayiswessex |
(4) (5/1 -166%)5/1(-166%) | (4) Theonlywayiswessex 5/1, Dual AW Flat winner who opened his account over jumps in 9-runner handicap chase (4/1) at Stratford (17f, good to soft) 17 days ago, going clear. Remains unexposed in this sphere and needs considering up 9 lb. Comfortably drew clear to open chase account at Stratford last month; taken very seriously. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (3) (7/2 +56%) Magistrato |
7/2(+56%) | (3) Magistrato 7/2, Won novices' handicap chase at Warwick (2m) on final start for Paul Nicholls. Mostly creditable efforts for this yard including back hurdling after a wind op at Stratford latest. Wouldn't rule out. Quirky customer; placed over hurdles last month but always comes with an element of risk. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (1) (10/1 -82%) Kauto The King |
10/1(-82%) | (1) Kauto The King 10/1, Not the most genuine but he has won here 4 times, most recently over C&D off 5 lb higher in September. However, produced a below-par effort around here 3 weeks ago and others preferred. Not the force of old but runs this track very well and will appreciate this ease in grade. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (100/1 -3536%) Tonto Foley |
100/1(-3536%) | (6) Tonto Foley 100/1, Hurdles winner who has taken well to fences, successful at Taunton (2m, soft) in March. Followed up with a much-improved performance at Hereford before excellent second at Worcester, clear of rest. Sure to go well again. 2-4 over fences and probably still has more improvement to come; good chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (33/1 -371%) Brook Bay |
33/1(-371%) | (2) Brook Bay 33/1, Expensive purchase from points who showed plenty of promise when placed in maiden/novice hurdles in the autumn. Unable to continue the good work since (has bled) but every chance he improves for the switch to the larger obstacles. Hooded for 1st time. Pulled up on final two hurdling starts; could still have significant potential over fences. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (200/1 -506%) Bbob Alula |
200/1(-506%) | (7) Bbob Alula 200/1, Modest Flat winner. Limited impact in 4 hurdle starts earlier in career and only poor form when 10¾ lengths fourth of 9 to Theonlywayiswessex in handicap chase at Stratford (17f, good to soft, 50/1) on debut over fences 17 days ago. Respectable fourth on recent chasing debut but may not have much scope to build on that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (5) (350/1 -5733%) Phoenix Risen |
350/1(-5733%) | (5) Phoenix Risen 350/1, Scored twice over hurdles last spring and stepped up on his comeback run when fifth of 16 at Taunton. Decent start over fences when fourth at Stratford and entitled to come on for that. Dual hurdle winner; close fourth on chasing debut at Stratford in May; a possible. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
THEONLYWAYISWESSEX arrives on the back of an impressive victory over 2m1f at Stratford last month and he gets the vote to successfully shoulder a 9lb rise for a yard which has been among the winners of late. The progressive Tonto Foley looks the main danger to the selection upped 4lb for finishing an excellent second over an extended 2m at Worcester recently, while Kauto The King completes the shortlist.
TONTO FOLEY might have had his winning run ended at Worcester last time but he continues very much on an upward curve and can quickly resume winning ways. Theonlywayiswessex won in good style at Stratford and remains unexposed in this sphere, so is the obvious threat.
Improving 6yo TONTO FOLEY did well to finish second last month, having made a bad jumping error, and could still be well handicapped.

Clearance |
(3) (13/2 -160%)13/2(-160%) | (3) Clearance 13/2, Smooth-traveller who added to his terrific course record when scoring cosily over 16.8f a month ago. 3 lb rise perfectly fair and a massive player if his stamina holds over this new trip. Six-time course winner; in excellent form this spring; tries a new trip today. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Songo |
(1) (14/1 -300%)14/1(-300%) | (1) Songo 14/1, Fairly useful Flat performer who won a pair of novice hurdles over C&D under Harry Cobden last summer. Well held both subsequent outings for Milton Harris but excellent start for new yard when runner-up over 18.5f here in May. Dual C&D winner last summer and second here (2m2f) in May, after a layoff. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bashful Boy |
(4) (16/1 -167%)16/1(-167%) | (4) Bashful Boy 16/1, Completed a cross-code hat-trick in this race a year ago and excellent fourth in the Cesarewitch on the Flat in the autumn. Below form over hurdles on his last 4 starts but he's fit from a Flat win and lurks on a very dangerous mark. Won this by 10l off 6lb higher a year ago but returns here with a point to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (6) (11/4 +80%) The Height Of Fame |
11/4(+80%) | (6) The Height Of Fame 11/4, Progressive from a low base in 2022-23, completing 4-timer at Exeter (21.6f). Handicapper looked in control for a while but she was found a weak race to regain the winning thread at Wincanton in October. Switch to a right-handed track against her 2 months later and off since. Five hurdle wins; easily excused soft-ground defeat in December but has fitness to prove. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (28/1 -1020%) World Of Dreams |
28/1(-1020%) | (5) World Of Dreams 28/1, Can boast an excellent strike rate and was heavily backed to go in again at Uttoxeter last month, only to finish third. That was still a sound effort and step back up in trip can only help. Major claims. Unable to justify strong market support when third last month but remains of interest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (2) (250/1 -2678%) Midnight Ginger |
250/1(-2678%) | (2) Midnight Ginger 250/1, Reliable hurdler who went in on only her second run over fences in 2m handicap at Chepstow in January, coming from a long way back. Rather in-and-out since over the larger obstacles but now back over timber. Creditable third over fences at Cheltenham in April; now back hurdling on workable mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (350/1 -2817%) Backinaction |
350/1(-2817%) | (7) Backinaction 350/1, Off the mark in Irish points at third attempt in January and second of his 3 qualifying runs in this sphere at Taunton was pretty encouraging. Didn't quite see out 3m on recent handicap debut. Unexposed under rules but was just a respectable fifth on last month's handicap debut. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.
CLEARANCE benefited from a couple of spins on the all-weather at Wolverhampton as he's since landed a brace of victories here over shorter distances, and the 10-year-old, who is 3lb higher than last month's success, is expected to land the hat-trick. Midnight Ginger reverts to timber having finished third at Cheltenham over fences in April and the eight-year-old has to enter calculations, especially as she was just denied by a short head at Chepstow in November when last seen over hurdles. The extra couple of furlongs on this occasion are likely to suit World Of Dreams.
WORLD OF DREAMS hasn't stood much racing but there's still damage to be done from this sort of mark with a clear shot at it and this step up in trip is sure to help his cause. Clearance and Songo are reliable operators at this venue and head the opposition.
Placed off today's mark last month despite not really enjoying the run of the race, WORLD OF DREAMS can be given another chance.

1st (6) (5/6 +9%) Hold Your Fort |
5/6(+9%) | (6) Hold Your Fort 5/6, Little form over hurdles but this point winner was much improved at the second time of asking over fences when a 23-length winner over C&D 10 days ago. A 7 lb penalty won't stop him if in the same form. Bolted up over C&D latest; 9lb well-in under his penalty and the one to beat.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (4) (11/1 -144%) Doctor Foley |
11/1(-144%) | (4) Doctor Foley 11/1, Notched a third chase win at Fontwell in May, although he was fortunate, a length down when left in front at the last. He also nearly still threw it away by idling and now sports first-time blinkers. 3-7 over fences; latest when beating a subsequent winner; respected with blinkers fitted.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (5) (14/1 -56%) William Ewart |
14/1(-56%) | (5) William Ewart 14/1, Scored for the first time over fences at Southwell (3m, heavy) in February. Has reached the form on all starts since but he was well below par when a distant fourth to Doctor Foley at Fontwell last time. Can be hit or miss but could bounce back from a Fontwell disappointment. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (66/1 -371%) Radharc Na Slaine |
66/1(-371%) | (8) Radharc Na Slaine 66/1, Maiden Irish pointer who offered little in maiden/novice hurdles last winter but was going okay when unseating in the Newton Abbot race won by Hold Your Fort last week, albeit too far out to predict where he might have finished. Unseated on handicap/chase debut behind Hold Your Fort last month; makes little appeal.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (9) (100/1 -400%) Noah's Light |
100/1(-400%) | (9) Noah's Light 100/1, Hurdles winner in Ireland for Declan Queally. Tumbled in the weights for this yard and finally made some impact when second of 6 over fences at Fakenham in May. Pulled up at Newton Abbot last week, though. Pulled up latest; stamina to prove over longer trip; others have more pressing claims.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (200/1 -2757%) Honey I'm Good |
200/1(-2757%) | (2) Honey I'm Good 200/1, Made if 3 wins in 4 starts when seeing off 4 rivals over C&D last June but has found life a lot tougher since. Now 7 lb below his last winning mark but others are still preferred. Two-time course winner over fences last year off 7lb higher; likely to be in the mix.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (100/1 -733%) Friends Don't Ask |
100/1(-733%) | (3) Friends Don't Ask 100/1, C&D winner. Respectable fifth of 9 in handicap chase at Bangor (3m, good, 22/1) 7 days ago. Is nicely handicapped if he can build on that. Has plenty to find at the weights with Doctor Foley; others appeal more.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (10) (250/1 -658%) Enforcement |
250/1(-658%) | (10) Enforcement 250/1, Shows more temperament than ability these days and is hard to fancy from out of the handicap. Out of sorts and plenty to prove from out of the weights.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (400/1 -2400%) Tara Line |
400/1(-2400%) | (1) Tara Line 400/1, Achieved very little when winning a 3-runner novice hurdle at Leicester in November 2022. Pulled up both starts 523 days ago. The fact she's a point winner suggests she could take to fences but she's still a hard one to make a case for. Cheekpieces on first time. Point/hurdle winner 2022; pulled up over hurdles after an absence latest, chase debut.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (450/1 -2150%) School For Scandal |
450/1(-2150%) | (7) School For Scandal 450/1, Not the most reliable. Bounced back to form when second at Hereford in February but not the biggest surprise that he's failed to reproduce that in his 3 outings since. Regressed since wind surgery; needs to find some spark back up in trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
DOCTOR FOLEY backed up a solid effort over a shorter trip at Taunton two starts ago when returning to winning ways at Fontwell in May, and the seven-year-old may have more to offer with first-time blinkers being applied. Hold Your Fort was an easy winner over C&D recently and may be capable of taking another step forward despite the quick turnaround. Honey I'm Good and William Ewart head the remainder.
HOLD YOUR FORT had lots to spare here last week and, officially 9 lb well-in under a 7 lb penalty, will surely go in again if in anything like the same form. Friends Don't Ask offered a bit more from his falling mark last time and might be the one for the forecast spot ahead of Fontwell-winner Doctor Foley.
It's difficult to oppose HOLD YOUR FORT under his penalty for last month's wide margin C&D win. Doctor Foley looks next best.

11/4(-22%) | (3) Dancingontheedge 11/4, Eleven runs since her last win in 2022 but she resumed from 12 months off/wind op with an encouraging fifth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (20f, good to soft) 22 days ago, fading only run-in. Player off a 3 lb lower mark with that run under her belt. 0-11 over hurdles but has the form to figure if building on her recent return, considered.. |

2nd (1) (100/1 -2400%) Stowaway Jess |
100/1(-2400%) | (1) Stowaway Jess 100/1, Made a solid start to life in handicaps when third at Fontwell (21.8f, good, 17/2) 40 days ago. Enters calculations off a 2 lb lower mark. Not at her best since her sole hurdles win in May 2023; remains with stamina to prove.. |

14/1(-17%) | (8) Cellar Club 14/1, Has twice failed to build on her reappearance promise, sixth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (2m) 14 days ago. Goes up in distance but others appeal more. Well held since placed on handicap debut in May; longer trip might suit though.. |

400/1(-1112%) | (7) Minneigh Mozze 400/1, Off 16 months since only tenth of 12 in 2m novice hurdle at Ludlow. Up in trip for her handicap debut with her fitness to prove. Makes handicap debut but has enough to prove returning from a 491-day absence.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
AUDITORIA bounced back to form when second over 2m4f at Southwell last month and Olly Murphy's mare has to be of interest on the back of that effort, despite a 3lb rise. Stowaway Jess is more than capable of making the frame in a race of this nature and may be the main threat, while Dancingontheedge and Cellar Club are the pick of the remainder.
DANCINGONTHEEDGE signalled she is ready to go close after an absence when fifth at Worcester last time out and Paul Nicholls' mare can build on it to end a losing sequence. Auditoria is feared most on the back of her resurgent Southwell second, with Miss Marette another who can have a say.
With less questions to answer than most AUDITORIA looks the safest option in a tricky affair. Dancingontheedge is feared most.

1st (3) (7/2 +36%) Only Fools |
7/2(+36%) | (3) Only Fools 7/2, Dual hurdle winner last season, latterly at Fontwell (19f, heavy) in March. Not at best when seventh at Worcester a couple of weeks ago, but could bounce back. Well held latest but capable on her day and not ruled out in a weak race.. |

2nd (5) (12/1 -300%) Maroochi |
12/1(-300%) | (5) Maroochi 12/1, Winless since 2022 but she arrives in decent nick, third of 10 at this course last time. Drops back in trip and should give go well again. Back to form when third over 3m2f here last month; on a good mark and respected.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (10/1 -233%) Fenney Brook |
10/1(-233%) | (4) Fenney Brook 10/1, Has slipped in the weights and was right back on track when third at Market Rasen a fortnight ago. Worth a chance to build on that encouragement and capitalise on a handy mark. Latest effort after wind surgery was encouraging; good claims if building on that.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (8) (25/1 -525%) Luna Run |
25/1(-525%) | (8) Luna Run 25/1, Good second of 12 in handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (23.9f, good, 5/1) 36 days ago, well positioned. Still not fully exposed and can make her presence felt if able to build on latest effort. Just lost out over 3m2f latest; should be in the mix back at 2m5f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (2) (50/1 -400%) Sailing Grace |
50/1(-400%) | (2) Sailing Grace 50/1, Made a winning debut here in autumn 2022. Returned from an absence to finish fourth on 19f Fontwell handicap debut in March but below form since. Needs to bounce back after a lesser effort last time; now has tongue-tie added.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (400/1 -1500%) All Blues |
400/1(-1500%) | (9) All Blues 400/1, Modest form on Flat in Ireland and little impact so far over hurdles. Needs blinkers to perk her up. Well held on all starts over hurdles; needs to turn things around with blinkers now added.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (6) (100/1 -525%) J'ventile |
100/1(-525%) | (6) J'ventile 100/1, Little impact in bumpers/over hurdles. Steps up in trip for handicap debut but there's still a bit to prove. Minor form so far but the longer trip on handicap debut could help.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (350/1 -1650%) Demelza Carne |
350/1(-1650%) | (7) Demelza Carne 350/1, Yet to show much in bumpers/over hurdles but there could be more to come up in trip/switched to handicaps. Has shown no worthwhile form in her bumpers/hurdles; goes up in trip on handicap debut.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (450/1 -6823%) Trump Lady |
450/1(-6823%) | (1) Trump Lady 450/1, Dual winner earlier in her career and, with a reappearance from a lengthy absence under her belt, she returned to something like her best when scoring over C&D in May. Pulled up at Southwell since, so needs to bounce back. C&D winner in May but hard to predict; thereabouts if in the mood.. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.
MAROOCHI made the frame over 3m2f here last month and the daughter of Presenting tops the shortlist off a 1lb higher mark, as the drop in trip should not be a problem. Fenney Brook seemed to improve for a wind operation prior to her third at Market Rasen a couple of weeks ago and she edges out Luna Run to be best of the rest.
Several arrive with chances but FENNEY BROOK is arguably the best handicapped and she gets the marginal vote over C&D winner Maroochi, who has been holding her form well. Luna Run is less exposed than that pair and shouldn't be dismissed.
Maroochi is respected but the suggestion is FENNEY BROOK who looks to have improved for recent wind surgery.
Ths is the racecard key.
