LTO Selection:

12:00 Navan Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TEUCHTERS GLORY, who defeated Lucky Lyreen in a Limerick bumper earlier in the year, sets the standard with an official rating of 125. The son of Fame And Glory is expected to build on a promising second at Cork and open his account over hurdles, although the aforementioned looks a big danger for his leading yard. Spread Boss Ted weakened late on over 2m3f at Naas last time, but he could fare better now dropped in trip.

SPREAD BOSS TED could come on plenty for last month's comeback run at Naas and is taken to improve past the more-established Teuchters Glory. Lucky Lyreen is open to progress on the back of his hurdle debut fourth over a longer trip here and should also have a say.

Preference is for dual bumper winner TEUCHTERS GLORY whose maiden form is the most solid on show and he can take the beating

LTO Selection:

12:35 Navan Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Gordon Elliott saddles four here, of which Find A Fortune would appear to be his main hope judged on jockey bookings, but Willie Mullins landed this prize last year and is fancied to do so once again with DANCING CITY. The Wexford bumper winner was far from disgraced on his hurdling bow last month, having been well supported, so it would come as no surprise to see an improved performance with that experience under his belt. Nas Na Riogh is also noted.

DANCING CITY's bumper ability provides him with the scope for significant improvement on the back of last month's C&D hurdle debut fifth and he's preferred to Slanagaibhgoleir and Henry de Bromhead's Nas Na Riogh.

Preference is for SLANAGAIBHGOLEIR, slightly disappointing on his second start at Punchestown in January but this rates an opportunity

LTO Selection:

13:10 Navan Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHANNON ROYALE won a Clonmel bumper that has worked out well and has progressed with each run over hurdles this term. He was trying to give Lecky Watson 8lb at Thurles before fitted with cheek pieces when bolting up in a 2m6f maiden at Punchestown. A mark of 130 may underestimate his ability. Harvard Guy won over C&D last month while others to consider include Lord Erskine, third to Espanito Bello in a similar handicap at Naas last month, and Carnfunnock. Clarens completed a hat-trick on varying ground conditions over two years ago and has returned to form this term including when runner-up to the gambled-on Fortunedefortunata here last month. It will be interesting to see how he copes with this extra half-mile. Natural Look won over fences at Galway last time and now reverts to hurdles off a lower mark.

SHANNON ROYALE looks a typical improver for the yard and can follow up his Punchestown novice success now stepping into handicap company for the first time. Harvard Guy also has better days ahead of him and heads the list of dangers, with Natural Look, Clarens and Lord Erskine also firmly in the picture in this competitive handicap.

The one to beat could be HARVARD GUY(nap) who won with authority despite some iffy jumping over C&D last month and looks progressive

LTO Selection:

13:45 Navan Handicap Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This can go the way of READ TO RETURN, who has been in fine form this season and ran with credit on his return to this sphere at Fairyhouse earlier in the month. A mark of 99 still looks manageable, and he is preferred to Blossom De Mai, who got off the mark with a determined success at Tramore and should not be inconvenienced by dropping back in trip. Lets Do This is a player based on the pick of his form, while Golden Nugget and Ivar The Boneless are others to consider.

Lots with chances but BLOSSOM DE MAI returned better than ever with a stylish success at Tramore so looks the way to go. Upthereforthinking is much less exposed and rates a big threat with this return to a longer trip a likely plus, although a solid case can also be made for the likes of Read To Return, Lets Do This and Ferrum.

The one to be on could be UPTHEREFORTHINKING who ran well on his handicap debut over 2m here last month with the step up in trip a plus

Good second over further at Wexford last time but jumping still has room for improvement.
LTO Selection:

14:20 Navan Maiden Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LUCID DREAMS sets the standard on form following a career-best effort when second in the Craddockstown last month. The eight-year-old has clearly taken well to the larger obstacles and going up in trip looks a good move at this stage, with heavy ground of no concern either. Joyeux Machin is a key player on the back of the back of a strong effort in Listed company at Wexford, while Donacheady Gale could be the one for third if Sa Fureur takes up his engagement at Fairyhouse on Saturday rather than here.

LUCID DREAMS has made up into a useful type over both hurdles and fences, going close in a Grade 2 novice chase at Punchestown on his latest outing, and he can continue his good run of form to land a sixth win of the campaign. Joyeux Machin improved when runner-up last time and looks the biggest threat, with Sa Fureur engaged to run on Saturday.

Even though he has run every month since March, the likeable LUCID DREAMS has held his form well and can record a third win over fences

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

WEE CHARLIE has made steady progress since beginning his career over fences in October, and his most recent effort at Tramore when just outstayed on the run-in, screamed of a winner waiting to happen. He can go one better on the drop in trip, with course winner Misty Hollow looking best placed to chase him home on his first run since March. Hardwired is a big player under these conditions, having won over further on his penultimate start, while Rolly Bowley Boy is another finding his way in this sphere.

WEE CHARLIE looks to have been handed a lenient opening mark on the back of an encouraging second in a Tramore novice last month and he's taken to make a winning handicap chase debut. Fellow handicap newcomers Backintheroom and Pour Pavore have been given considerate rides in their qualifying runs and better can be expected.

A consistent sort over hurdles, WEE CHARLIE gets the vote to score on handicap chase debut after an encouraging display at Tramore

15:30 Navan NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Given he was a close second in the Champion Bumper at last year's Punchestown Festival, Redemption Day boasts the strongest form and is considered despite this being his first start for 599 days. However, this is a race littered with potential and JALON D'OUDAIRIES, a 420,000-pounds recruit after he won his sole start on the point-to-point sphere, is just preferred with his match fitness proven after comfortably landing a Fairyhouse bumper 15 days ago. Open to any amount of progression, he is a highly appealing horse for Gordon Elliott to go to war with this season. The selection's stablemate The Enabler and previous C&D winner Springt De La Mare are a couple of others to consider.

REDEMPTION hasn't been seen for 19 months but that was when runner-up to Facile Vega and, if he retains that ability he will double his tally on return. Jalon D'Oudairies looks a good prospect and should be feared, while The Enabler is also of interest.

The selection is SCAMALL BAWN who needs to progress appreciably from his win at Cork but, given the yard he's from, can do just that
