The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Fozzy Stack's newcomer UNEXPECTED ISSUES has to be of interest as a sister to the stable's good horse Castle Star, who won at Group 3 level and was runner-up in the Group 1 Middle Park at Newmarket, and he handled cut in the ground. Aidan O'Brien's Churchill filly Heavens Gate is an obvious danger. She doesn't have any fancy entries, but there are plenty of winners in her pedigree. Cradle Of Love holds a Listed entry at Redcar and wasn't beaten far into third on debut at Dundalk. She was scratched from a Naas contest because of slower ground, though. Noel Meade's Ribchester colt Lethimfly is well worth a check for market strength.
Probably just an ordinary maiden and the well-connected HEAVENS GATE is the standout. Gangsta Man and Cradle of Love both offered something to work on first-time up and their experience may give them the edge over most.
A chance is taken on UNEXPECTED ISSUES, whose brother Cradle Star was a smart 2yo for the same stable.

Saffredi |
(4) (40/1 -186%)40/1(-186%) | (4) Saffredi 40/1, Once-raced gelding. 12/1, sixth of 14 in maiden at Dundalk (7f) on debut. Off 167 days. Down in trip. Should improve. Drops back to 5f and he seemed to stay the 7f okay on last season's AW debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
1st (3) (13/8 +71%) Air Force One |
13/8(+71%) | (3) Air Force One 13/8, Promising type. Fourth of 8 in maiden at Sandown (5f, good to soft, 12/1). Off 9 months. First run for yard after leaving David O'Meara. Good-looking sort and he may well do better this term. Visor on 1st time. Two runs at top tracks in Britain; now visored and could be a sharp improver. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (11) (3/1 +0%) Ojw Legacy |
3/1(+0%) | (11) Ojw Legacy 3/1, Thrice-raced filly who improved on her exploits as a juvenile when second of 8 in maiden (17/2) at Dundalk (6f) 24 days ago. Drop to the minimum trip shouldn't inconvenience her and respected with possibility of more to come. Has got closer in each of her runs and went down by only a neck at Dundalk last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (6) (6/1 -50%) Back Down Under |
6/1(-50%) | (6) Back Down Under 6/1, Fair filly who ran right up to best when runner-up on nursery debut at Naas (6f, soft) in October. Below best switched to AW at Dundalk on final start in December but pick of her form gives her good claims on return. Consistent in her eight starts and she brings some of the best form to the table. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (7) (25/1 -79%) Beatrix Power |
25/1(-79%) | (7) Beatrix Power 25/1, Slade Power filly. Sister to 5f/6f winner Collective Power. Dam 6f winner. Yard know this family very well and she's one to monitor in the betting on debut for clues. Sister to 5f/6f winner Collective Power (RPR 91); lack of experience may find her out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (22/1 -120%) Verified |
22/1(-120%) | (5) Verified 22/1, Lightly-raced gelding. 16/1, eighth of 9 in minor event at the Curragh (5f, heavy) 17 days ago, weakening over 1f out. Handicaps may be more his bag. Runner-up over 6f at Cork in September (good) but a bit to prove on balance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (13/2 +35%) Emerald Harmony |
13/2(+35%) | (9) Emerald Harmony 13/2, Once-raced filly. 25/1, sixth of 18 in maiden at Cork (5f, heavy) on debut 38 days ago, not knocked about. Yard having good spell. Open to progress. Never seen with a chance when sixth of 18 at Cork (5f, heavy) but she should improve. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (10) (25/1 +0%) Lady Daar |
25/1(+0%) | (10) Lady Daar 25/1, 15,000 gns foal, Eqtidaar filly. Dam unraced out of smart winner up to 1m (2-y-o 7f winner) Muteela. 15,000gns foal; first foal; unraced dam closely related to 6f AW 2yo winner Mutazawwed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (15) (25/1 +24%) Woohoo |
25/1(+24%) | (15) Woohoo 25/1, Twice-raced filly. 14/1 and blinkered for 1st time, seventh of 14 in maiden at Dundalk (5f) in December. Passed over back from 5 months off. Beaten in the region of 8l in a pair of 5f maidens on the AW; that's fairly low-level form. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (2) (100/1 -300%) Short Change |
100/1(-300%) | (2) Short Change 100/1, Once-raced gelding. Modest form when seventh of 14 in maiden at Dundalk (7f, 12/1) on debut 74 days ago. Down in trip. First run for yard after leaving J. J. Feane. Posted an RPR of 59 when well held over 7f on the AW in February. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (14) (150/1 -127%) Weston Grey |
150/1(-127%) | (14) Weston Grey 150/1, Twice-raced filly. Seventh of 14 in maiden (150/1) at the Curragh (6f, heavy) 16 days ago. Cheekpieces on for 1st time. Likely type for low-grade handicaps. Beaten 15l in both runs (1m/6f) and now goes in cheekpieces; handicaps beckon. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (8) (150/1 -50%) Behomebyhalfpast |
150/1(-50%) | (8) Behomebyhalfpast 150/1, Highland Reel filly. Last of 8 in minor event (100/1) at Dundalk (7f) on debut 88 days ago. Down in trip. 100-1 and finished completely tailed off over 7f at Dundalk three months ago. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (12) (11/1 -10%) Sacred Melody |
11/1(-10%) | (12) Sacred Melody 11/1, Once-raced filly. Seventh of 13 in maiden at Cork (5f, soft, 28/1) on debut. Off 7 months. Beaten about 6l in a soft-ground maiden at Cork that contained some useful horses. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (13) (50/1 -213%) Soar Beyond |
50/1(-213%) | (13) Soar Beyond 50/1, Once-raced filly. Ninth of 11 in maiden at Naas (5.9f, good, 28/1) on debut. Off 8 months. In top hands but beat only two home at Naas in August (6f, good; 28-1). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (1) (40/1 +0%) Purrrfect Timing |
40/1(+0%) | (1) Purrrfect Timing 40/1, Jungle Cat gelding. Half-brother to 5f winners Gift In Time and Step Back In Time. Dam unraced. Cheekpieces on for debut but he's probably best watched. Half-brother to 5f winners Gift In Time (RPR 82) and Step Back in Time (64). |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
EMERALD HARMONY is a potential improver from her debut sixth at Cork. She kept on well in the final furlong and could appreciate this ground as it won't be as testing. Back Down Under flopped when last seen in Dundalk but, prior to that, was placed five times on turf, including in the valuable Birdcatcher at Naas. Ojw Legacy has been placed on all three starts to date so is sure to be popular. She got closer to the breakthrough on her last outing in Dundalk, when beaten by a neck. Beatrix Power is a sister to a seven-time winner so is worth a market check on debut.
OJW LEGACY improved on the form she showed as a juvenile when runner-up in a Dundalk maiden (6f) 24 days ago and with the drop to the minimum trip expected to hold no fears, she's of interest with the possibility of more to come. Air Force One is another of interest starting out for his new stable with Back Down Under and Emerald Harmony others to note.
It could pay to take a chance on AIR FORCE ONE who ran in maidens at top tracks for David O'Meara.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (6) (40/1 -150%) Alex Belardo |
40/1(-150%) | (6) Alex Belardo 40/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 66/1, fourth of 13 in maiden at Dundalk (8f). Off 95 days. Significantly down in trip. Makes handicap debut. Caught the eye in first of three AW maidens when beaten less than 4l over 7f; handicap bow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (13) (28/1 +15%) Anyothername |
28/1(+15%) | (13) Anyothername 28/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 150/1, last of 6 in maiden at Leopardstown (8f, heavy) 27 days ago. Significantly down in trip. Makes handicap debut. Has shown very little in maidens over 6f-1m on testing ground; handicap debut. |

15th (1) (11/1 -22%) Jalaybee |
11/1(-22%) | (1) Jalaybee 11/1, Last of 9 in minor event (17/2) at the Curragh (5f, heavy) 17 days ago, not clear run. Worth another chance to build on return. Promise early on at two; return at Cork was okay but unable to land a blow at the Curragh. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Ken Condon saddled his first winner of the season in Naas last week and has prospects with VERACIDAD. This filly was placed three times off higher marks last season and is very much at home on rain-softened ground. Velvet Skies is running consistently well, with three runner-up berths in a row. His latest effort came in a higher grade and Wesley Joyce eases his welter burden by 5lb, so the pair should be right on the premises. Artful Approach can build upon his fourth over C&D last month. It was quite a drop in trip for him, but he took to sprinting as he put in plenty of good late work in that big field.
LAYOFTHELAND left previous efforts well behind when a close fourth in a big field at the Curragh on handicap bow last month so gets the vote. Velvet Skies and Artful Approach head the dangers.
On the back of a good start in handicap company when fourth of 21 against older rivals over C&D, ARTFUL APPROACH (nap) gets the vote

2nd (6) (14/1 -17%) Cuban Grey |

4th (8) (3/1 +33%) My Girl Sioux |

7th (10) (9/2 -13%) Un Bacio Ancora |
9/2(-13%) | (10) Un Bacio Ancora 9/2, One win from 37 Flat runs. Twelve runs since last win in 2023. 18/1, third of 27 in handicap at the Curragh (6f, heavy) 16 days ago. Cracking run at the Curragh last time when third of 27 over 6f, placed form at this trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (7/2 +42%) Step Back In Time |
7/2(+42%) | (4) Step Back In Time 7/2, C&D winner. 10/1, respectable sixth of 21 in handicap at this C&D (good to soft) 10 days ago. Player. C&D winner was sixth of 21 here on her return (hampered by loose horse) and should go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (18/1 -29%) Jackie Brown |
18/1(-29%) | (7) Jackie Brown 18/1, Seventeenth of 20 in handicap (80/1) at the Curragh (6f, heavy) 50 days ago. Dropped to a handy mark. Well held since winning over 6f on good ground at Fairyhouse last summer. |

40/1(+0%) | (14) Kuwait Direction 40/1, Eleven runs since last win in 2023. Fourteenth of 21 in handicap (100/1) at this C&D (good to soft) 10 days ago. Three-time winner well held on AW lately and when mid-division over C&D last time. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
UN BACIO ANCORA ran a stormer on her return to turf in the Curragh last month. She was just pipped in third, by a short head and a neck, in that massive field after attracting support. The horse behind her in seventh came out and won in this grade at Sligo last Sunday. Step Back In Time has a C&D victory to her name and ran well for a long way when sixth on her seasonal reappearance here last month. My Girl Sioux is a long-standing maiden but is capable of picking up a cheque, while Stanhope competes off a very lowly mark with Keithen Kennedy's claim factored in, and he does love Navan.
NOUVEL ESPOIR produced her best effort when runner-up in a C&D maiden in October and is on a fair mark on that form, so she could be the answer with a reappearance run under her belt. Step Back In Time shaped well fifth on her return here 10 days ago and is next best ahead of My Girl Sioux and Un Bacio Ancora.
Although he didn't shine on h'cap debut at the Curragh, NOUVEL ESPOIR still appeals as being well treated on the pick of his maiden form

3/1(+25%) | (4) Zoffman 3/1, Seen only twice last year and shaped as if retaining all of his ability after 9 months off when third of 16 in handicap at this course (13f, good to soft, 7/1) 10 days ago. Entitled to strip fitter for that and one to consider. Smart handicapper put in good effort on seasonal debut here when third of 16 over 1m5f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (33/1 -106%) Weston |
33/1(-106%) | (2) Weston 33/1, Good fifth in Ascot Stakes (Handicap) at Royal Ascot (2¾ lengths behind Ahorsewithnoname) last June but seemed amiss both starts after. Off 7 months. Down in trip. First run for yard after leaving Gordon Elliott. Tough ask. Fine fifth for Gordon Elliott in the Ascot Stakes but poor last twice; seasonal/yard debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (7/1 +30%) Last Ammo |
7/1(+30%) | (5) Last Ammo 7/1, Respectable seventh of 16 in handicap at this course (13f, good to soft, 25/1) 10 days ago. Cheekpieces back on and he may be sharper given that was his first start for 7 months. On a stiff mark after last summer's win at Galway; fair return when beaten 7l here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (4/1 -33%) Neptunes Staircase |
4/1(-33%) | (7) Neptunes Staircase 4/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Creditable second of 12 in maiden at Gowran (12.4f, heavy, 13/8) 14 days ago. Yard having good spell. Blinkers on 1st time. Makes handicap debut. Runner-up in three maidens including on return at Gowran; back up in trip for h'cap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (1) (125/1 -942%) Mt Leinster |
125/1(-942%) | (1) Mt Leinster 125/1, First run since leaving W. P. Mullins when pulled up in handicap hurdle (125/1) at Punchestown (16.7f, good to soft) 7 days ago, struggling before 2 out. Likely best watched returned to the Flat. 3-8 on the Flat, mark stiff enough given his age; pulled up over hurdles on stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (125/1 -400%) Whiskey Sour |
125/1(-400%) | (6) Whiskey Sour 125/1, Thirteen runs since last win in 2017. First run since leaving W. P. Mullins when fifteenth of 16 in handicap (100/1) at this course (13f, good to soft) 10 days ago. Good stayer on Flat and over hurdles for Willie Mullins; never a factor here on yard bow. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
NEPTUNES STAIRCASE wouldn't be winning out of turn and gets first-time cheekpieces after three consecutive runner-up finishes. He is proven over this trip as he was just held by a neck over C&D in October. Zoffman put in a satisfactory seasonal reappearance when third over a slightly shorter trip at this track in April. He was good enough to finish second in a premier handicap at the Curragh last summer. Bay Of Sanibel is up in class, but won her maiden over C&D and was narrowly beaten at this track last month. Minella Mate is returning from a lengthy absence, but was in decent form in August and September.
A winner on her second start in maidens at 2 yrs, BAY OF SANIBEL showed further improvement when runner-up on return/handicap debut here (13f) 10 days ago and, open to further progress, she looks to hold solid claims of going a place better here. Zoffman and Neptunes Staircase head up the dangers, with Minella Mate not out of things either.
The Harrington filly BAY OF SANIBEL goes well here and was a creditable second on seasonal/handicap debut; the extra furlong will suit

1st (2) (11/4 +31%) Concluding Call |
11/4(+31%) | (2) Concluding Call 11/4, Thrice-raced filly. 8/1, fourth of 23 in maiden at the Curragh (8f, heavy) 17 days ago, travelling better than most and keeping on. Possible she can do better again. Shaped like the run was needed when fourth in Curragh maiden in which Uncanny was second. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (4/11 +37%) Uncanny |
4/11(+37%) | (8) Uncanny 4/11, Churchill filly. Promising start when second of 23 in maiden (4/1) at the Curragh (8f, heavy) on debut 17 days ago, taking time to get going before running on late. Looks sure to progress and increase in trip rates a plus. Big player. Shaped like a certain future winner when strong-finishing second of 23 in Curragh maiden. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (7) (9/1 -80%) Quantum Light |
9/1(-80%) | (7) Quantum Light 9/1, Fair filly. Remains a maiden after 14 Flat runs. 14/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, run easily overlooked when stumbling and unseating early in handicap at Gowran 2 weeks ago. Entitled to be in the mix. Placed in pair of Galway festival handicaps last summer but hasn't really gone on since. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (66/1 -313%) Eyeshadow |
66/1(-313%) | (3) Eyeshadow 66/1, Fair filly. 33/1, first run since leaving Harry & Roger Charlton when fifteenth of 16 in handicap at Leopardstown (7.1f, heavy) 27 days ago. Significantly up in trip but vulnerable to less exposed sorts back in maiden company. Placed in Chepstow handicap when trained in Britain; poor run on seasonal/yard debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (5) (80/1 -300%) Harseva |
80/1(-300%) | (5) Harseva 80/1, Harzand filly. Tongue strap on, twenty first of 23 in maiden (100/1) at the Curragh (8f, heavy) on debut 17 days ago. Up in trip. Well behind several of these in Curragh maiden; can only be watched for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (1) (80/1 -21%) Amazing Angel |
80/1(-21%) | (1) Amazing Angel 80/1, Tale of Two Cities filly. Dam unraced. Unlikely type on paper and passed over on debut. Homebred daughter of Tale Of Two Cities best watched on debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (150/1 -127%) Miss Bowers |
150/1(-127%) | (6) Miss Bowers 150/1, Twice-raced filly. Last of 13 in maiden at Dundalk (6f, 200/1) 25 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Yet to beat a rival in two outings; makes no appeal. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
UNCANNY was a real eyecatcher on debut at the Curragh. She got going late and stayed on strongly but was unable to reel in the winner, who had flown. She looks the one to beat granted normal improvement. In addition, she holds a couple of Grade 2 entries this month and in June. Concluding Call showed ability in two spins on the Polytrack in Dundalk and she performed creditably in fourth on her turf debut at the Curragh. Quantum Light looks exposed after 14 outings, but has been placed on six occasions and has a shot at more prize money.
UNCANNY shaped promisingly making her belated debut when running on late for second in a big-field Curragh maiden 17 days ago and with this increase in trip likely to suit, she holds sound claims with progress anticipated. Concluding Call rates next best ahead of Quantum Light.
Having shaped like a certain future winner on debut, UNCANNY will be a short price to go one better in an ordinary contest

12/1(-20%) | (15) Cleopatra's Needle 12/1, Remains a maiden after 17 Flat runs. Tenth of 14 in handicap (12/1) at Dundalk (10.7f). Off 174 days. Blinkers on 1st time and she will have a serious chance off this reduced mark if able to bounce back. Longstanding maiden who has regressed and more new headgear is now tried. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (18) (28/1 -75%) Mayo For Sam |
28/1(-75%) | (18) Mayo For Sam 28/1, Lightly-raced maiden. First run since leaving Adrian Brendan Joyce when eleventh of 14 in handicap at Gowran (13.7f, soft, 18/1) 13 days ago. Back down in trip and visor on 1st time. Place possibilities. Dropped away when it mattered on stable debut at Gowran (1m5f) 13 days ago; now visored. |

3rd (11) (7/1 +42%) Charlie Darling |
7/1(+42%) | (11) Charlie Darling 7/1, Course winner. Tenth of 14 in handicap at Gowran (13.7f, soft, 9/1) 13 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Back down in trip here and others are more persuasive. A winner off this mark, albeit over much further; ran okay on his return from a break. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (6) (2/1 +50%) Jazz Forever |
2/1(+50%) | (6) Jazz Forever 2/1, One win from 1 run this year. 11/1, career best when winning 14-runner handicap at Dundalk (10.7f) 25 days ago. On the same mark returned to turf but it remains to be seen if he will build on that breakthrough success. Dug deep to win over this far at Dundalk last month and he's off the same mark here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (16) (11/2 +31%) Epaulawn |
11/2(+31%) | (16) Epaulawn 11/2, Below form ninth of 19 in handicap at Naas (8f, soft, 13/2) 8 days ago, never nearer. Back up in trip and is very much one to consider having slipped to an attractive mark. Fair run at Dundalk after 212 days away and last week's Naas run wasn't that shoddy. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (33/1 +0%) Hijo De La Luna |
33/1(+0%) | (7) Hijo De La Luna 33/1, Below form eighth of 13 in handicap (25/1) at Dundalk (8f) 24 days ago. Back up in trip and it's probably best to look elsewhere. Didn't last long with Ger Lyons and insufficient promise in two runs for this yard. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (3) (10/1 +29%) Bear Profit |
10/1(+29%) | (3) Bear Profit 10/1, 22/1, first run since leaving Stuart Williams when bit below form tenth of 17 in handicap at Gowran (9.4f, heavy) 14 days ago. Opposable. Both wins for Stuart Williams were on AW; down the field on stable debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (13) (10/1 +38%) Gardone |
10/1(+38%) | (13) Gardone 10/1, Lightly-raced maiden. 22/1, creditable eighth of 21 in handicap at this course (14f, heavy). Off 6 months ahead of this debut for new yard. Needs a couple of these to falter. Yet to get overly competitive but his two handicaps (1m2f/1m6f) weren't devoid of promise. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (12) (25/1 +0%) Princess Rajj |
25/1(+0%) | (12) Princess Rajj 25/1, Nineteen runs since last win in 2022. 40/1, first run since leaving Mrs J. Harrington when thirteenth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk (7f) 46 days ago. Significantly up in trip. Well beaten on stable debut at Dundalk and looks a dodgy stayer over this new trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (5) (12/1 -300%) Palo Duro |
12/1(-300%) | (5) Palo Duro 12/1, Thrice-raced maiden. Third of 8 in maiden (16/1) at Down Royal (7f, soft). Off 7 months and significantly back up in trip for this handicap debut. Tongue strap refitted. One for the shortlist. Improved in each of his runs last season and was under 5l away the final time; h'cap debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (4) (25/1 +0%) Dabana |
25/1(+0%) | (4) Dabana 25/1, First run since leaving Mark Fahey when fifteenth of 19 in handicap at this course (13f, good to soft, 66/1) 10 days ago. Back down in trip and she needs to up her game. At 66-1 she was beaten a long way on stable debut at Navan so something to prove now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (17) (33/1 -65%) Limited Edition |
33/1(-65%) | (17) Limited Edition 33/1, One win from 25 Flat runs. Nineteen runs since last win in 2021. Thirteenth of 14 in handicap (40/1) at Dundalk (12f) 53 days ago, slowly away. Has run well now and again at Dundalk but that's perhaps more his scene. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (1) (7/1 -17%) Rampage |
7/1(-17%) | (1) Rampage 7/1, Eighth of 10 in handicap (11/2) at Dundalk (8f) 46 days ago, slowly away. Back up in trip and cheekpieces back on. Capable of a bold show off this mark if he puts his best foot forward. Hasn't returned in bad form but has stamina to prove and he's drawn wide. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
14th (2) (18/1 -13%) Evolving |
18/1(-13%) | (2) Evolving 18/1, 22/1, first run since leaving Francis-Henri Graffard when twelfth of 17 in handicap at Gowran (9.4f, heavy) on IRE debut 14 days ago. Others preferred. 1m6f winner in France; 22-1 and never really sighted on stable debut at Gowran (1m1f). |

50/1(-25%) | (9) Construct 50/1, Seventeenth of 19 in handicap (100/1) at this course (13f, good to soft) 10 days ago. Down in trip and it's easy enough to look elsewhere. Turf/AW/hurdle winner but hard to be at all confident in his current vein of form. |

16th (14) (66/1 -100%) Boxing Hero |
66/1(-100%) | (14) Boxing Hero 66/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 150/1, last of 12 in maiden at Gowran (12.4f, heavy) 14 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Tailed off after a long absence at Gowran; much to prove on handicap debut. |

17th (10) (28/1 -133%) No Trouble |
28/1(-133%) | (10) No Trouble 28/1, Fifteen runs since last win in 2022. 25/1, eighth of 11 in claimer at Roscommon (10.3f, good to soft). Off 8 months and has rejoined former yard. Well held in two turf claimers when last seen in August. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
Jazz Forever is the starting point having returned to action with a ready success over a similar trip at Dundalk last month. He is yet to show that he wants rain-softened ground, though, so preference is for Tony Martin's PALO DURO. He could make an impact off a mark of 67 in his first handicap having showed improvement in third in a Down Royal maiden. No Trouble has returned to John McConnell, who he previously had success for. Colin Keane has been enlisted so a big run wouldn't be surprising. Rampage is another to consider as he tries this trip for the second time.
There could be better to come from PALO DURO now that he ventures down the handicap route. Indeed, the unexposed 4-y-o took a step forward when third in a 7f Down Royal maiden when last seen in September and this intermediate trip could prove to be just the ticket. Epaulawn and Cleopatra's Needle both need to bounce back but that's entirely possible having slipped to dangerous marks, while Rampage is not without hope either.
Paul Flynn's JAZZ FOREVER has a decent draw to work with and he's off the same mark as for last month's win on the AW.

6/1(+40%) | (4) Master Dunraven 6/1, 14/1, bit below form ninth of 20 in handicap at the Curragh (14f, heavy). Off 6 months and down in trip. Yard in good form and he's not without a chance. 0-8; not far away in a couple of his handicaps and he remains in a respected stable. |

2nd (6) (10/1 +29%) Jawhary |
10/1(+29%) | (6) Jawhary 10/1, 22/1, good fifth of 17 in handicap at Gowran (9.4f, heavy) 14 days ago, needing stiffer test. Place possibilities. Early days with this yard and only weakened out of it late on at Gowran (1m1f, soft). |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (13) (11/1 +67%) Rotolo |
11/1(+67%) | (13) Rotolo 11/1, Tongue strap on for 1st time, seventh of 14 in handicap at the Curragh (10f, soft, 14/1). Off 6 months and it's probably best to look elsewhere on this occasion. Second on handicap debut in 2022 but lightly raced since and hasn't progressed. |

4th (2) (5/1 +17%) Eighty Eight |
5/1(+17%) | (2) Eighty Eight 5/1, One win from 22 Flat runs. Fifteen runs since last win in 2022. Respectable ninth of 23 in handicap at the Curragh (8f, heavy, 14/1) 50 days ago, running on. Back up in trip and he merits consideration. Eyeshield he has been wearing is now left off but each-way claims if holding his form. |

5th (11) (13/2 -63%) Elsa's Pride |
13/2(-63%) | (11) Elsa's Pride 13/2, Promising type. 9/4, good third of 12 in handicap at Tramore (12f, good) when last seen in September, making effort earlier than ideal. Remains open to improvement. Improved form over 1m4f last year but she looks quick enough for this trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (22/1 -38%) Fleetfootsoldier |
22/1(-38%) | (9) Fleetfootsoldier 22/1, Latest win at Dundalk in November. First run since leaving Kevin Thomas Coleman when seventeenth of 19 in handicap (25/1) at Naas (8f, soft) 8 days ago. Up in trip and looks set for another struggle. Three wins over 1m; finished tailed off last week at Naas and might not stay this far. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (14) (22/1 -144%) Tara Power |
22/1(-144%) | (14) Tara Power 22/1, One win from 32 Flat runs. Twenty-five runs since last win in 2021. Excellent third of 11 in handicap at Dundalk (10.7f, 8/1) 53 days ago, having to pick way through. Each-way chance. Close up over this far at Dundalk last time but his strike-rate of 1-32 is offputting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (7) (9/1 -13%) Akmaam |
9/1(-13%) | (7) Akmaam 9/1, Eleven runs since last win in 2023. 12/1, creditable sixth of 18 in handicap at Cork (8f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Up in trip and having slipped to a dangerous mark, he's one to consider. Fairly solid efforts of late and was boxing on over 1m at Cork. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (16) (16/1 -33%) Duleek Street |
16/1(-33%) | (16) Duleek Street 16/1, Bit below form fourth of 9 in novice hurdle at Kelso (16.2f, good to soft, 5/1). Off 7 months and he's hard to warm back on the Flat. In good form over hurdles when last seen and interesting off this low a Flat mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (15) (9/1 +44%) Status Green |
9/1(+44%) | (15) Status Green 9/1, Below form twelfth of 20 in handicap at Leopardstown (8f, heavy, 10/1) 30 days ago. Back up in trip and he looks vulnerable from a win point of view. Beaten under 4l in a couple of handicaps last summer but his form has steadily gone cold. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (18) (14/1 +0%) Sunday Evening |
14/1(+0%) | (18) Sunday Evening 14/1, Tongue strap on for 1st time, ninth of 16 in handicap (9/1) at Leopardstown (7.1f, heavy) 27 days ago, merely closing up late. Significantly back up in trip. Placed over an extended 1m but modest runs last twice and unproven over this far. |

13th (8) (28/1 -12%) Young Lucy |
28/1(-12%) | (8) Young Lucy 28/1, Lightly-raced maiden on Flat. Fair bumper winner. Fifteenth of 17 in handicap (33/1) at Gowran (9.4f, heavy) 14 days ago. Sizeable step forward needed. Not progressed from her bumper win and was behind some of these at Gowran two weeks ago. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
15th (10) (28/1 +30%) Sandyman |
28/1(+30%) | (10) Sandyman 28/1, Fifteenth of 20 in handicap at Leopardstown (8f, heavy, 50/1) 30 days ago. Back up in trip and he's hard to warm to. Offered little back on the Flat at Leopardstown a month ago. |

16th (3) (20/1 -300%) Arbaawi |
20/1(-300%) | (3) Arbaawi 20/1, Latest win at Dundalk in February. Good third of 14 in handicap (15/2) at the same course (8f) 53 days ago, needing stronger gallop. 17th (12) (14/1 -17%) Master Garvey |
14/1(-17%) | (12) Master Garvey 14/1, One win from 23 Flat runs. Winner at Naas in March. Below form eighth of 19 in handicap at Naas (8f, soft, 14/1) 8 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Back up in trip. 7f winner on heavy in March; just mid-division in his subsequent starts at 7f/1m. |

18/1(-80%) | (1) Limestone Red 18/1, Winner at Dundalk in November. Thirteenth of 14 in handicap (40/1) at Leopardstown (8f, heavy) 30 days ago. Back up in trip and still need to prove that he can mix it on turf. AW winner but has yet prove himself as effective on grass. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's race.
ARBAAWI has been a decent recruit for Tom McCourt as evidenced by a victory and a placed effort in Dundalk. Crucially, he has winning form on slower ground from his career in Britain so should be a leading contender under 5lb claimer James Ryan. Duleek Street has been hurdling, but could give David Egan a good spin off a mark off 55 on his return to the level. Tara Power stayed on in third when last seen in Dundalk and could get involved as she has snippets of form on turf. Elsa's Pride has ability, and winning form from Cork, but would prefer better ground on her seasonal reappearance.
The vote goes to ELSA'S PRIDE, who improved in 1½m handicaps on her final two starts of last season and she could have more to offer as a 4-y-o. This trip could prove to be ideal, too. Arbaawi has put in good shifts on the all-weather the last twice and is second choice ahead of Eighty Eight, Akmaam and Jawhary.
David Egan looks an interesting booking for DULEEK STREET who should be well handicapped given the level he's reached over hurdles.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
