13:37 Musselburgh (Class 5) 15f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Trojan Sun won over 2m2f here last summer and is only 2lb higher. He can feature again if fully primed for his reappearance, but SPARTAN WARRIOR is fit from hurdling. The son of Saxon Warrior returns to the level, having landed a double over middle distances at Beverley last term, with this extra test of stamina promising to bring further improvement. Pigeon House has struck over timber since he was last seen in this code and Simon Walker's presence is a positive.

Consistent veteran GLASSES UP is taken to exploit a career-low mark on his seasonal debut.

14:07 Musselburgh (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

The betting will likely offer some clues to the chances of these newcomers, but Hugo Palmer boasts a good strike-rate at this venue and ARDISIA may prove good enough. The son of Ardad is related to three winners and is entered in a couple of big sales races later in the year. Dandy Speed is an early foal and his half-brother made a winning debut, while Filly Foden is another Ardad progeny and is preferred to Ours De Soleil.

The pair with the most appealing paper claims look to be Dandy Speed and ARDISIA. Hugo Palmer's newcomer is just preferred.

14:37 Musselburgh (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MOTAWAARED took a step forward when finishing runner-up at Southwell last month. Any further progress could make him hard to beat, with retained jockey Jim Crowley taking over the reins for his only ride at the meeting. Raulin ended last year with a promising third at Newcastle and he looks a threat, while Zowal is hard to assess on his placed efforts in France but should be noted debuting for new connections.

The ex-French Zowal is respected but Newmarket raider MOTAWAARED can build on last month's promising second at Southwell.

15:07 Musselburgh (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

RAMON DI LORIA justified favouritism by the smallest of margins over 6f at Wolverhampton last month and is only 3lb higher. Ewan Whillans' seven-year-old is a previous C&D winner and it would be no surprise to see him complete a double. Keep Me Stable hasn't finished out of the frame in each of her last three starts at Newcastle and should remain competitive. Falcon Nine is another to keep an eye on.

Capuchinero, Clasina and FALCON NINE appeal most, with the latter taken to leave last month's stable debut well behind.

15:37 Musselburgh (Class 3) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Paddy's Day successfully completed a four-timer at Newcastle on his most recent start and continues his rise through the ranks. However, with all of these victories coming at the same track and another career best needed, it may be best to side with SPARTAN ARROW. The five-year-old made his second outing for the Archie Watson yard a triumphant one at Wolverhampton and might have more to offer. Last-time-out Chelmsford scorer Thankuappreciate isn't out of it either.

Paddy's Day has been thriving on AW but SPARTAN ARROW (nap) boasts some strong turf form and can follow up his Wolverhampton win.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Placed on three of her four career outings, including on debut here, PRINCESS PW has been freshened up ahead of her first crack at a handicap and can deservedly get off the mark. Mullwarchar hasn't really built on a promising effort first time out at Wolverhampton, but a mark of 68 on his handicap debut looks manageable. Sovereign Class ran creditably when fifth at the same track recently and is another to consider.

The pick is PRINCESS PW, who showed clear promise in her qualifying runs and looks interesting upped to this trip on handicap debut.

Back to form on AW the last twice; still seeking a first turf win though; others are safer.

16:43 Musselburgh (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Narrowly denied over C&D on his most recent start in November, ROYAL DUKE likes it here and this appeals as an ideal opportunity on his return to action. Drying ground is likely to suit and the four-year-old is preferred to Henery Hawk, who has rediscovered some form on the all-weather without getting his head in front. Kyber Crystal and Sergeant Mayer have the form to get involved in proceedings as well.

Mrs Bagerran will take some pegging back but BENEFICIARY is back to a winning mark and could be worth chancing on a rare turf run.
